If it is your first time listening to it'd be great if
you guys could leave comments. I'll say it every week, but just
love for you guys to leave any comments or any suggestions or
anything you like or anything you want me to talk about on the
podcast. We are looking at getting some
guests back. So that's some good news.
We're looking to potentially have some guests moving forward

(00:42):
to be on the pod as well. I also mentioned the new
location that's going to be happening on The Huddle, so stay
tuned for that. And yeah, that pretty much wraps
up those latest updates. The other one is that as you can
see from my T-shirt that I'm wearing, if you are watching the
video podcast today, I'm wearinga Melbourne Marathon T-shirt.

(01:02):
So I just completed the Melbourne Marathon on Sunday.
It was a fantastic run in terms of the atmosphere and the
culture. My run itself wasn't the best
because to be honest I was aiming for a sub 4 hour
marathon. Ended up finishing it at 4 hours
and 6 minutes. I had some troubles, I would say

(01:27):
without defining them specifically during the run and
it was nothing to do with, I guess the run itself and my
energy. Yes, my, my legs did give out at
around the 41st kilometre, but in that moment I was, I was
striding. OK.
I would say what I will tell youabout the marathon is that

(01:47):
unfortunately, if I'm honest, I didn't have the feeling of wow
when I finished it and relief because those issues occurred
and I needed to adhere to them. But I will say that it is highly
recommended and I'd highly recommend anyone that wants to
have a go at running do a marathon once in their life.
And that doesn't mean to start with a full marathon like I did.

(02:10):
Definitely just dip your feet into the water and maybe start
with a half marathon or even a 10K marathon.
The, the Melbourne Marathon runsevery single year around the
same time in October, mid October and applications are
always taking place for inquiries a week after the
marathon's done. So if you've always wondered how
you can sign up to the marathon, you need to sign up literally

(02:32):
within the next two weeks. And I'll definitely be doing
that as I have to achieve that goal of sub four.
I'm not going to be satisfied until that's achieved.
Obviously I'm very happy that ithappened and I completed it.
I got my medal, I got my T shirtand I was able to go through
that mental battle, which, yeah, when you hit the 30 kilometre
marks in those runs, you contemplate a lot of things and

(02:56):
it's a real mental test of your strength and capability.
There were so many times where Iactually wanted to stop and just
give up. There was so many instances
where I thought that I couldn't finish the race, but at a point
I sort of knew that I wasn't going to be able to achieve the
sub four, so I opted in just to complete the race and completing

(03:17):
it was good enough. Not to sound arrogant and stuff,
but I did see a lot of people not complete the race and there
was a lot of issues as well for some other people that were
probably worse than mine. So completing the run was a big
achievement and the atmosphere overall just amazing.
When I talk about that in terms of it being an amazing run, you
have people all around the street.
So you finish up in the MCG, it's a free entry for those that

(03:39):
are coming to watch the run. You finish in the MCG, all
people are looking around at youand even when you're on the
street there are signs everywhere, There are people
giving out lollies, there are people organising dance stuff
like we had Mexicans dancing. It was unbelievable.
Like it really made me have strong faith in humanity.
Just so many nice people on the run supporting strangers that

(03:59):
they didn't even know. So that was, that was awesome.
And shout out to my mates as well.
Nathan Liberto's one guy that wehad on the required.
He finished his marathon sub three hours, which is an
incredible effort. And I also had the boys, Luke,
Wendell, Joseph, Nathan, who allfinished and Aaron as well, who
all finished the, the half marathon on the same day.

(04:20):
And we all, we all decided to dothis together.
We planned this at Pecks Rd Cafe.
And yeah, decided that we're going to do a marathon and it
looks like it's not going to be the end for, for all of us.
We're going to continue on. There are some marathons coming
up Interstate, maybe in Adelaide.
I think there is one that I might do.
But I'm definitely putting my hand up for the marathon next
year and I'm going to do a much better job in my training.

(04:43):
I know what I need to do to get the sub.
So I'm going to be looking for that and look forward to it as
well. Not for the training I would
say, but more for the the effortand the ability to to do that
too. As I just update my shirt, I'll
fix my shirt. There we go.
But yeah, that pretty much concludes what I did for the
marathon and as I missed Crown Jewel, I did achieve the

(05:07):
marathon. So that'll be a good way to sort
of bring up what happened this week in WWE.
They came over on tour to Perth and we had a three day WWE show
Takeover, starting with Smackdown, then moving on to
Crown Jewel and then also movingon to Raw as well.
So three shows, live televised shows in Australia, Unbelievable

(05:30):
crowd. The Australian crowd is just
simply the best. Like there is no better crowd
than Australia. You talk about the funny chance,
the creativity and the spectacleis just simply amazing.
And it started off with Smackdown.
We had the main event street fight with Alistair Black
beating Damien Priest, which is awesome, but it all LED up to
Crown Jewel which was the PLA that occurred.
We had thousands and thousands of people in John Cena farewell

(05:54):
tour merch which was incredible. It looked like a a Golden State
Warriors playoff game with all the the shirts out there.
It was quite simply a spectacle. We had some crazy matches as
well. We had Bronson Reed, Australia's
own defeating Roman Reigns, pinning him for the first time.
Someone's pinned him in in over six months and or over a year

(06:15):
and a half. And the last person to do that
was Cody Rhodes. And before that was 10 years ago
it was Baron Corbin. So in the last 10 years only
three people have pinned Roman Reigns and one of them is
Bronson Reed. So that is a a major achievement
there and it's going to boost his career big time.
We're going to be looking out for Bronson Reed for sure, as he
continues to dominate wrestling at the moment and in WWE.

(06:39):
And we had another match where we had the Crown Jewel
Championship for the women, Stephanie Vaquer defeating
Tiffany Stratton, which was her first loss of 2025, which is
crazy to think about. And yeah, we have a new Crown
Jewel Champion in Stephanie Vaquer.
Thoroughly deserved. We also had the match, and I'll
save it for the end. Actually, we had other matches,
we had the women's tag team match, Ria Ripley, another

(07:02):
Australian born wrestler, teaming up with EO Sky, taking
on the Kabuki Warriors team, Kyrie saying Oscar and I got to
say the Australian fans made me laugh as well as they were
giving a big stick to Oscar. They were calling her a wanker,
giving her a wanker chance, which I'm not sure how that
works for a woman. But again, just hilarious banter

(07:22):
and those that see that that as offence, it's not when it comes
to wrestling because if you are giving stick to a heel wrestler,
you're just giving them heel heat and that's exactly what you
want to do. So for a wrestler, Oscar that's
getting that that heat from the crowd shows that she's doing a
good job in her role. They do lose and Ray Ripley and
Ears Guy get the victory, which made sense given that it was in

(07:45):
Ria's home country. We also had the main event where
we had Seth Rollins defeating Cody Rhodes for the Crown Jewel
Champion men's match and Seth Rollins finally gets the the
monkey off his back, getting hisfirst win against Cody Rhodes
and I'm sure they'll have a programme in the future.
They're not now obviously, because obviously they're on

(08:05):
different brands, but they'll definitely have a a battle in
the future for sure. I don't think their rivalry ends
now, but it's currently three and one in favour of Cody
Rhodes. But Seth Rollins gets the
bragging rights here and becomesthe men's crown jewel champion,
which we'll talk more about SethRollins as we talk about Raw as
well. But before that, we had what, a

(08:26):
match John Cena taking on AJ Styles, a blast from the blast.
There was no storyline involved with this time.
This was simply a vote from the WWE Universe to determine who
John Cena's opponent would be and who they'd like to see.
And the fans chose AJ Styles. They had a mad rivalry back in
2016, three matches between eachother.

(08:46):
AJ Styles getting 2 up on John Cena.
Obviously John Cena beating AJ Styles for the championship,
which is probably the match thatmattered, but these guys just
threw it way back. We had a plethora of finishing
moves. John Cena taking inspiration
from The Miz with the Skull Crushing finale.
He did the RKO and even tried todo a punt kick on AJ Styles
which was quite funny as well. He also did the Waltz to

(09:10):
Jericho. Whichever I went crazy about,
it's a submission move. He also did the Tombstone Pile
driver to get the victory after the Attitude after before doing
the Attitude Adjustment and thenpinning AJ Styles.
But the most probably touching part of the whole show was when
John Cena lined up AJ Styles forthe Sister Abigail, which was

(09:31):
the late great Bray Wyatt's finisher.
Who? If you don't know Bray Wyatt,
he's the scary guy from WWE, used to be The Fiend.
And once that move was made, theAustralian fans with their
intelligent IQ started putting their flashlights out and
singing. He's got the whole world in his

(09:51):
hands. He's got the whole world in his
hands. And that's the chant that
obviously Bray Wyatt was famous for when he was part of the WWE
before he unfortunately passed away, which, yeah, it was really
sad, but the fans paid really good tribute.
And you could see John Cena's head looking up to the sky

(10:11):
looking at Bray Wyatt and seeinglike what he's done and how I
guess honoured it was to to wrestle with him in the past,
but also use his his finishing move in this match too.
So just a throwback classic match that was just awesome.
Like that's all I can say. Like if you're not a wrestling
fan and you like to go back in the past and watch the matches,

(10:32):
I highly recommend watching thismatch.
It's on Netflix if you do have it, just this match.
If you don't like the whole show, you don't have to, but
just go and watch John Cena takeon AJ Styles.
It was a sceptical and it shouldhave been the main event for
Crown Jewel in my opinion. Obviously they do have this
Crown Jewel Championship that makes sense to be a main event,
but this match was just too goodnot to have in there.

(10:53):
But overall the the PLA was extremely good and I was really,
really happy with with how it went.
Again, I'm shattered that I missed out on all three shows
that were incredible, but you know what you got to do when you
when you're trying to achieve a goal, you got to, you got to
achieve it. I guess hopefully they come back
again another time, but they will be here tomorrow.
So I will be going to the Super Showdown tomorrow.

(11:15):
It's going to be in Melbourne, so they come in here.
It's more of an exhibition though.
It won't follow storyline but still be exciting.
So really, really keen for that if I'm honest.
So yeah, that's tomorrow. So I'll let you know how that
goes next week and how I find it.
But the last thing I want to talk about for WWE is the latest
episode on Raw, which by the time I've filmed this, the Raw

(11:35):
episodes come out and I have watched it.
And the only thing I'll talk about is the portrayal of Seth
Rollins. Brown breaker Spearing Seth
Rollins to cut Seth Rollins out of the vision that Seth Rollins
created. It's only been six months and
I've got mixed feelings because a lot of people are saying that

(11:57):
Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins didn't work out together.
A lot of people are saying that it wasn't going to work out in
the future, but Brown Breaker Spearing Seth Rollins was a
massive surprise and still unexpected.
Is it premature still despite what we think of Seth Rollins
and Paul Heyman, knowing that Seth Rollins can cut a promo

(12:20):
without needing Paul Heyman? Obviously, Paul Heyman has been
with people and have managed other wrestlers that can't cut
promos as good as Seth Rollins. Maybe that's why they did it.
It's still to me premature. I feel like there's so much out
of this that they could have got.
It gives me throwbacks to when Damien Priest and Rio Ripley
turned on Edge and Finn Balor with the Judgement Day.

(12:41):
We only got to see a small sample size of it.
So we're only seeing six months of of the Vision and now it's
all gone. So Brown Breakers, Spears, Seth
Rollins, we have them. Bronson Reed hitting the tsunami
on Seth Rollins and all of them raising each other's hands with
Braun Breaker holding the title. So is that a message to suggest

(13:02):
that Braun Breaker is going to be a World Heavyweight Champion?
We'll have to wait and see because before that, CM Punk did
win the number one contendershiptriple threat match against LNI
and Jay USO. So he will be taking on Seth
Rollins without the Vision. So I'm not sure what the Hell's
going on with the storyline. Well, we've got Survivor Series

(13:23):
coming up. We thought they were going to
team up as a as a three, maybe add some more members, but that
looks like it's going all out the drain.
And now the storyline's just scattered.
So WWE has thrown a curveball here.
They've made the vision turn on Seth Rollins.
Maybe premature. Depends on how you think.
But yeah, that's that's probablythe biggest news that came out
of this whole weekend in terms of future storyline.

(13:44):
But the whole overall event was great.
And that's all that happened this weekend on WWE Australia.
Like, and you're telling me thatWWE is not entertaining?
Like if you were someone that watched that and he's a
wrestling fan, you would have been very much entertained with
that as well. And probably the final things
for wrestling as well. We're hitting up Renegades of
Wrestling on the 9th of November.

(14:05):
There are a few tickets left if you are keen, check that out.
It's going to be held at the Thornberry Theatre.
I'm pretty sure it's going to bea triple threat tag team match.
Tables, ladders and chairs to determine the winner of this.
It's been a feud that's been going on in the past.
Renegade show. We have three sets of two tag
teams and we're going to see lots of violence, lots of spots

(14:28):
where tables will be involved, ladders and chairs, and that's
always amazing. We love to see that violence
too. There's also going to be a fatal
four way match for the RenegadesChampionship as well.
Indy Hartwell is teaming up withAisha as well for A tag team
match. Indy Hartwell used to be part of
WWE. She's currently in TNA at the
moment, so seeing her come back to Melbourne and battling

(14:50):
Renegades, it's always amazing as well.
So the talent here in Melbourne is quite solid.
So look out for the shows in Melbourne too, even if you're
not a wrestling fan. I say going to a local wrestling
show is great. It's like 2 metres in front of
you and you get to see all the actions.
So what more to see than that? And in terms of other Sporting
News, we had the Euro qualifications and the only one

(15:13):
I'm really going to talk about is the Albania versus Serbia
match. And as you know, my nationality
is Albanian. I'm supporting Albanian all the
way. We are so close to potentially
qualifying for the World Cup andwe beat Serbia one nil, which is
incredible. Like Serbia away from home is a
tough fixture. No Albanian fans are allowed.

(15:34):
You've got to go research and look up on the political stuff
about that and also why that's the case.
There was someone that threw a joint.
Crazy stuff, crazy stuff. Check it out.
Happened a few years back and I think yeah, there's a big
rivalry between Albanians and Serbians.
I personally don't really give ashit about it but again, being
Albanian you're always proud when your team wins and they did
take a one nil victory against Serbia.

(15:57):
The goal happened in about the 45th minute just before half
time. And yeah, we are in commanding
position, 4 points ahead of Serbia.
Serbia do have a one game in hand but there is 2 games left.
So if we beat Andorra next week,it looks like we'll be
qualifying to the next stage of the World Cup and there'll be
another qualification process. But Can you imagine if Albania

(16:20):
qualify for the World Cup? For me that would be simply
incredible. So cheering on for Albania,
hopefully they get the victory done against Andorra.
It's going to happen next month in November.
And then we're finishing it up against England in our home
stadium. So you never know, we could beat
them there. That might be harder.
But if we do beat it, it could solidify our spot there.

(16:40):
But I do think England will guarantee their qualification
and then we'll have to just earnit the hard way.
But even getting to the next stage is is no steep fee and
this might be an opportunity forus to really qualify for a World
Cup, which which is crazy in in,in my eyes, we've made €2.00
finals but we have never made a World Cup finals.
So let's see how that goes there.

(17:02):
Just wanted to take a moment to thank you guys for tuning into
another episode of The Huddle Within.
Podcast if you do enjoy. Episodes like.

Be sure to leave a comment and afive star review.
Wherever you do get your podcasts.
It'd be also great if you could like and subscribe wherever you.
Do get your podcasts. So we can continue to show this

(17:23):
out to people that see sports. Exactly the way that you.
Do. But without further ado, let's
get straight back into it. The NFL news has been ramping up
this This is week six of the NFLand we're starting with the
first match of the week, the Philadelphia Eagles taking on
the New York Giants. The Giants get the victory here,

(17:45):
a massive surprise as I bring the scoreboard up 34 to 17.
The Giants win on their home floor.
We had Scatterboo with three rushing touchdowns and Jackson
Dot with also a rushing touchdown as well.
That is the first time since 1992 rookies have combined for

(18:06):
one or more rushing touchdowns in a game.
So that's a crazy stat in itself.
It shows that Scatterboo and Jackson Dot are the future and
they did this all without their number one wide receiver in
Malik neighbours. And let me tell you, Scatterboo
is just what a guy, man. He's just simply a national
treasure already a rookie comingout a full meathead.

(18:27):
He's got No Fear, but he's the last person if I was a defensive
lineman that I'd want to tackle because that boy has No Fear
whatsoever. He'll go in head first to your
shoulder, head first straight into your head and just bulldoze
his way for touchdowns. And that's what you love.
And he's got a great personalityas well.
He's always yelling out, screaming.
Oh, every single time. RIP to the headphone users, but

(18:50):
that's scatter before you. He just has that energy.
And if fires me up seeing scatter before and then Jackson
Da, he's just cool, calm, collective.
He's got some aura about him. He's got that swag and ego that
you love as well. And that's someone that they've
been crying for as a quarterbackin their franchise.
And New York is looking excitingat the moment.

(19:11):
And again, they're doing it out without Malik neighbours.
And when Malik neighbours comes back next year, if Scatterboo
can continue to produce the samestuff he's doing in Jackson dark
getting better with another yearunder their belt, they could be
a dangerous team moving forward. And honestly, the New York
Giants are so fun to watch. Like I'm a Saints fan and I
struggle watching them. We get another loss again today

(19:32):
against the Patriots 19 to 25. But the New York Giants are just
the funnest team in the NFL right now and and thoroughly
deserved. And we're going to continue to
be watching them as they as theydevelop.
And it doesn't look like they'regoing to be as bad as a team as
everyone expected before the season, unlike their
counterparts, the New York Jets,Their shit.
Let me tell you zero and six, mate, TJ, what's going on?

(19:58):
The the, the, The Jets are just I don't know.
They're atrocious at the moment. They can't even win a single
game. Oh, I don't know what's going on
with them. They're they're a nightmare.
Like I have no words. Another loss.
They're the only team that haven't won a game this season.
And yeah, it's quite crazy. Even the Saints look better than
them at the moment. And that's that's something hard

(20:18):
to achieve if you're any NFL team as well.
But in terms of other news, we did have the Bills losing to the
Falcons as well. Bijan Robinson ran for like a 90
yard drive, which was bloody impressive.
He had 170 yards for that one touchdown.
They won 24 to 14. Yeah, Josh Allen didn't really

(20:39):
show up for this one, but Robertson and Drake Lungeon did.
And Michael Pennix is looking pretty decent as he first start
this season. And yeah, it's his second year
and the Falcons are carrying away.
The Chiefs beat the Lions, and that's another one of the
surprise that we're expecting the Lions to show out.
And they didn't. They lost 30 to 17, and it was a

(21:00):
traditional Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce duo performance
that that got them to victory. St Brown was nowhere to be seen.
Jameson Williams was picking up some pretty decent receiving
yards on their side, but it was all Patrick, my home show and
and Travis Kelsey as well. But yeah, it's it's hard to
determine who's good at the moment.
The only teams that are 5 and one currently are the

(21:21):
Indianapolis Colts and they continue to stride really well.
Jonathan Taylor's killing and sois Daniel Jones.
He feels rejuvenated. As I said, they get another
victory. They defeat the Cardinals 27 to
31 and it was their key defence that got them to victory here.
Jonathan Taylor is is looking elite at the moment and that's
something that is going to be very important for them moving

(21:41):
forward. But you would have never thought
the Colts would be leading 5 to one in the NFL, which is crazy.
And they're other leaders in theMSV NFC, MFC, the NFC is the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers who make some quick work of the San
Francisco 49ers, defeating them 19 to 30.
Mac Jones, to be fair, as a backup quarterback, he, he did 2

(22:04):
touchdowns for 347 yards, which was the most yardage the whole
week. So then he smashed everyone
else. I think he's the only one that
hit 300 this week for that. So that was that was quite
impressive for three for three for three touchdowns or two
touchdowns. Sorry.
So always 2 intercepts. I don't think he ran here
through any any touchdowns, but still 347 yards is quite solid

(22:25):
and they still got the loss and they're a Bupa based rookie,
rookie wide receiver. He's looking to be the best wide
receiver at the moment in his class.
And then you've got Baker Mayfield, who is an early MVP
candidate. And if you look at his past
career, he struggled in a lot ofplaces, especially at the rounds
when he started and he was almost ready to be out the

(22:46):
league or at least be a backup quarterback for the rest of his
life. And he's turned his career out
at the Buccaneers. It does help when you do have a
lot of wide outs that can that can get the ball.
But at the same time, Bacon Mayfield, you're just showing
his power and he's killing it. He's had a few nice first down
drives as well I've seen the highlights of.
So Bacon Mayfield continues to ball out and show out and that's

(23:07):
always impressive as well. And yeah, that pretty much wraps
that out. The only thing that I would
mention is the Dallas Cowboys continue to suck ass too, which
is great. I can't stand the Dallas
Cowboys, but there's one person I can't stand and that is George
Pickens. What a player.
Someone free that guy. He he struggled in Pittsburgh.
He's got Dak Prescott throwing him the ball.
Who Dak Prescott's actually doing well, to be fair.

(23:29):
But honestly, the Giants couldn't even the Cowboys
couldn't even defend a traffic cone at this point.
They are. They are.
They're just shocking. Simply, they lose on a field
kick to the Carolina Panthers, which a great style of
performance from Ron Daldo. I think that's how you spell it.
Or Daldo, but he ran for 183 yards, which was quite

(23:49):
impressive as well. 27 to 30 they lose and that's on a field
goal kicks. The Cowboys will be scratching
themselves because I'm pretty sure they're on the same record
as the New York Giants and that's going to be really
embarrassing for them. I think the the Giants actually
are three and three at the moment, as I can see are two and
four, but the Cowboys have had one draw.

(24:10):
So they are two and three with one draw.
They're just above them, but still the Cowboys could they
finish bottom of the NFC East? That'll be crazy if that
happens. But the the I was going to say
the Panthers respective result again, they seem to be floating
around the NFC South. I don't think they will take

(24:33):
down the NFC S division because the Buccaneers are killing it at
the moment. But they're definitely not going
to finish last because the Saints are in the division and
they're making that division look a bit more respectable
because the last 3-4 years the division has sucked us.
So yeah, that's pretty much wraps up the NFL news.
All right, we're going to quickly wrap up with the latest

(24:56):
AFL trade news. So we'll sort of go through all
the teams that have acquired theplayers starting from last week.
I thought I'd wrap it up today as the trade deadline is fast
approaching and fast ending. So Vani becomes a St.
We've expected that James Walpole joins the Geelong Cats,
which boosts up their midfield, which is going to be big for

(25:16):
Geelong. I think they need someone like
Whirlpool, especially if Tom Atkins is at the sort of end of
his career. We had Tom Dekoning joining St.
Kilda as well. No, no secret there.
We all expected that one. We had Draper joining the Lions,
another one that was expected. We did get Jacob, we're moving
to Port Adelaide. We had Spargo going to North

(25:37):
Melbourne for an end of round two pick which was quite a
surprise but I think North Melbourne finally don't get a
midfield so midfielder, so this might be good but you don't know
with their recruitment style. Liam Reedy joins Carlton as well
for a third pick and they send out a third pick to Fremantle.
We have Malcolm Rosas and a fourth pick going to Sydney and

(26:00):
the third round pick and a fourth round pick going back to
the Gold Coast Suns, so not really sure how good that will
be, but he wasn't getting much game time in Gold Coast so maybe
he gets rejuvenated in Sydney. We've got Stasovich going to the
West Coast Eagles in a 314 trade.
Fremantle given away a lot of picks, 123344 and 50.

(26:21):
Eagles getting back a decent haul for that.
So they're going to be pretty decent moving forward too.
We've got Chad McVey going to Frio, we've got Sam Flanders
going for pick #7 that's a big move for Saint Kilda.
They are making big moves. We did expect this.
They didn't get Lee Kalia, they stitched Lee Kalia up big time
and doesn't seem like he's got ahome at the moment.

(26:43):
But Sam Flanders does join St. Kilda and hopefully he gets a
midfield time because when he does play in the midfield, he he
kills it. So St.
Kilda are looking really strong with Silvani, Tom Dekoning and
Sam Flanders, so they're going to be a a big contender next
year. They also get Liam Ryan as well,
which is going to be a big one for them too.

(27:03):
A small forward with lots of experience is going to help them
big time. I think if they make their
finals push. And then we've got Oscar Allen
going to Brisbane Lions for pick2.
That's a that's a crazy, crazy trade.
The fact that they get that compensation pick is quite
crazy. They're really trying to make
West Coast could again, it's crazy how the AFL does this

(27:24):
compensation stuff, but it lookslike West Coast are going to
have a whole of first round picks, like half the first round
picks are going to West Coast. So maybe they will rejuvenate
from there. Who knows?
I mentioned the Lee and Ryan one.
They do get the they do get the second round pick for that.
We also have my check leaving the Pies, which is a bit sad,
but we're getting the 61st pick and another third round pick

(27:48):
next year as well for him and I think it was his time to go.
He wanted obviously a longer deal, we weren't going to offer
him that so he goes to Melbourneand hopefully he does well
there. We've got Campbell, Chester
going to Carlton, so Carlton getanother player which is probably
good for them, but who knows howgood these players will be
playing for that shit club. We got Ainsworth going to, I'm

(28:10):
pretty sure going to Carlton as well, Durden going to Port
Adelaide, and there's a few conversation picks in there as I
read here, a second round pick, Port Adelaide giveaway and a
fourth round pick as well. The fourth round pick goes to
Carlton, the second round pick goes to Gold Coast.
So that's another one. And then we've got a random
Giants Bulldogs trade pick wherethe Giants trade up to get to

(28:32):
#12 while the Bulldogs has dropped down to get 14.
But add a second pick to that and then you've got Tyler Young
going to West Coast and Richmondgetting a second round pick
there. Fits their timeline.
A pretty interesting trade between two struggling teams at
the moment. Will Brody goes.
To Port Adelaide for a six roundpick, so that's probably just an

(28:52):
opportunity for him to refresh his career.
He's been a bit quiet since he'sbeen at Frio, We haven't heard
from him in a few years. We get the pick swap for
Collingwood in Brisbane, which is a bit weird.
We get 2 first third round picksand we get back a third round
and a future one tied to Melbourne.
So that's a bit of a nothing 1S and then get Brandon Fiorini as

(29:16):
well. That occurred sometime today,
about two hours ago actually. And Gold Coast get back a 2026
third round pick. So Gold Coast are picking up a
few a few trades as well, a few picks from these trades too.
It means that the Bulldogs used that pick to get Conor Buterick
from the Gold Coast Sun. So that was probably why they
were able to get that. So that makes a lot of sense

(29:38):
there. And that was the latest trade
that happened about 20 minutes ago.
And we are expecting a trade forJeff to to head to Melbourne.
So they're also going to pick upCJ Jeff, which is which is
really good for them. A another decent young defender
that is struggling to get playing time in Hawthorne will
have an opportunity to have a lot of playing time in Melbourne
and we're still waiting for the Zach Merritt trade, so they're

(30:02):
circling around to see what's going to happen.
A few pics have been offered there.
We had Charlie Kerno paying a visit to the Sydney Swans
facility, so they're looking to just potentially get some big
hole for them as well. Carlton in as I'm speaking
about, but we don't know what's going to go there.
Will those trades go through? Not too sure, but those will be

(30:23):
probably the two biggest trades we have in this trade period.
Petrarca and Oliver have chosen their destination clubs,
Petrarca choosing Gold Coast andClayton Oliver choosing the GWS
Giants. None of those trades have been
processed so we'll look out for those.
Collingwood are not busy at the moment, they're not looking to
pick up anyone, which is a bit of a surprise in my eyes.

(30:44):
You'd think that we'd be active in the market too, but you never
know as we hit deadline. But as it stands, there is no
home for those four players and currently the latest deal that
has been confirmed and is about to be confirmed is Jeff going to
the the Melbourne Demons. And I think the clear winners of
the trade period is going to have to be St.

(31:05):
Kilda. They pick up four very important
players. They keep Naziah for another two
years and it looks like they're going to be pushing for finals
footy and don't be surprised, in2-3 years they'll be pushing for
premiership as well, especially with that bloody war chest that
they've got. They've figured out a way to
finally spend their money the right way and it looks like they
resigned Wilkie too, and they'rekeeping Rowan Master as well.

(31:28):
Yeah, that's going to be very exciting next year to see St.
Kilda make the jump. I think that's the one that
we're expecting to make the biggest jump.
The Gold Coast will look much better with Petrarchus, of
course, and they're getting a few picks on top of that.
West Coast are getting a lot of young players in their draught
and Brisbane just upgrade with the acquisitions of Draper and

(31:48):
the acquisition of Oscar Allen, which is going to bolster their
forward line too. And they finally have a
replacement rock for the Big O, who I think his time's cutting
short. But yeah, that's pretty much all
the the current trades that are happening at the moment.
Next week we'll update the the final trades.
And if there is some news, I'll be sure to try post that out as
well and bring back the the emergency huddles too.
