A Black employee at Kaiser Permanente Tacoma Medical Center in Washington received $140,000 after an investigation found complaints of racial harassment went unheeded by the human resources department. According to the investigation by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, “Kaiser permitted an African American employee to be harassed by her coworker’s repeated use of a version of the n-word” -- a violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

The Brothers Ortiz
The Brothers Ortiz is the story of two brothers–both successful, but in very different ways.
