Speaker 6 (02:30):
Kings Amion has a They had like a wine festival
in there. It turns out, so I had a lot

I drink some wine, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Wow?

Speaker 6 (02:45):
Yeah, so that was mad fun. The rides are still good.
Roller coasters still fun. I don't need to buy one
of those eating past things.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
You know. It's like an all day dining pass you
can get for like twenty bucks. Don't buy it.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Those things trash.

Speaker 6 (02:57):
Yeah yeah, most of the places you can't use it,
and if you can, it's wack. So don't even don't
even bother it. All just about what you want. Good, no,
good to know. Yeah, roller coaster is still great.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Man. We got on this one.

Speaker 6 (03:07):
That was like you get inside of it and the
cart that you're inside can flip over itself, like while
you're on the track, so like you're on the track
and then your whole cart will flip over like that while.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
On the track. And then maybe it was crazy. It was.

Speaker 6 (03:24):
It was way more fun than like you looking at it,
it's like this looks insane, but when you get on it,
it was super fun. A lot of fun. Then there
was one the Outer Limits. It's not called the out
of Limits anymore. It's called the Flight of Fear. Still awesome.
The indoor one with the aliens, indoor roller coaster like
the Strobe Lights and ship.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
I'm going back to Bush Gardens and I think next week.

Speaker 4 (03:45):

a decade.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Yeah, Bush Garden they have one. They have an indoor
or coach. They do Dark the Dark Coaster.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
It is it is crazy, like how fast it goes
without going up or anything like That's I thought it
was awesome, Like you'll sit still and it'll like shoot you,
like sixty miles an hour and.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Like no time.

Speaker 6 (04:14):
Yeah, they got the accelerated strips. Crazy, it's insane. And
then it turns around and goes back through the other way.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Yeah that's right, nuts, dude, I love that stuff that
wassed those years. I need to go.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Yeah, recommend it.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Hell yeah what about Yeah?

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Yeah, it's still good.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
I worked on a bunch of stuff this weekend home
with all the the pedal stuff.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
But I went went to my kniece's birthday. That was nice.
It was the first birthday. It's great birthday party outside somewhere. No, no,
we're inside.

Speaker 8 (04:50):
Man.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Yeah, it's all good.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
That's good.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
One year old. Uh but they don't Glassie. Well, a
hold to do? They get messy really quick. Okay, it's
a hold to do. Yeah it was, but it was nice. Yeah.
I just got back in town. So that had a
good time. I saw break.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
And then oh the Tree at Rumble Tree was playing
on Saturday, So it'll be tomorrow if you're listening to
this recorded on the podcast. But yeah, Saturday, Fuzzy Cactus
playing the Shangry Lords.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Yeah yeah, so killing man that checks out there, all right?

Speaker 7 (05:34):
Word hell yes, Uh, I guess we should get into
music news.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Wait, you also had get review movie.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
You're it's too late.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Let's do music review?

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Is the whole thing? Drop?

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Yeah I did? Yeah, you're right right?

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Do you do moviews later? Anyway? Stick to the plane?

Speaker 3 (05:58):
All right?

Speaker 7 (06:00):
Okay, there is going to be a Electric Ladies Studios doc.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Oh okay, that's that seems like a long time coming.

Speaker 7 (06:09):
Facts, it's been open for fifty four years. I mean
earliest clients including led Zeppelin, Carly Simon, Stevie, Wonderdrix, yeah, Hendrix.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
But was that it wasn't all the way done? Was
it all the way done when he was working?

Speaker 2 (06:29):
I don't know it.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Yeah, I think that's the thing.

Speaker 6 (06:31):
Boy Eddie Kramer ran it right for most of the time.
Was he that ain't due that ran the thing?

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Said he was?

Speaker 7 (06:37):
Yes, okay, yep said it was a partner in the
venture and uh yeah. So he's a big part of
the film. Yeah, there's a lot.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
There's a really cool article in the Hollywood Reporter.

Speaker 7 (06:52):
So I'm trying to find the info when it's coming out,
but it sounds like it's going to be pretty soon.
I'm hoping that it'll be you on some kind of
streaming platform very quickly, because that's dope. I mean, I've
always wanted to know more about Electric Lady, and it
feels like, I don't know, some of the most amazing
records have been there. I mean, Voodoo is one that

(07:14):
I think all the time.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
I don't know, it feels like a.

Speaker 7 (07:18):
Like a club, you know, like I mean, you know,
like the the Record Plan or the Hit Factory or
you know Criteria Studios in Miami or even like George
Martin Studios Air Studios.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
It's like, you like, if you.

Speaker 7 (07:33):
Get to like recorded some of these spots Hans the
studios or something, you know, you just you get part
of like a certain club. But I feel like Electric Lady,
it's like there's a there's like a I don't know,
there's a vibe about it.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 7 (07:48):
So anyway, it's great, that's gonna be coming soon. When
I find that information, it doesn't really see.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
I can't wait to see that.

Speaker 6 (07:53):
I think it's going to be a lot of talking
heads or there is maybe some footage we've never seen before, definitely,
because if it's just talking I'm kind of tired of
those Yeah burns ship with a bunch of pictures. I mean,
or I would love some pictures. I haven't seen artists
that you know, I haven't seen. It's all ship that
has been wrong. Like I got a lot of stuff

(08:15):
in the vaults.

Speaker 7 (08:16):
Yeah, I think that there's probably Yeah, it looks like
there's gonna be some cool stuff in here. There's uh,
there's like articles or clips with Mitch Mitchell.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
I haven't really seen him.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
People are gonna be listening to stems and talking about
him and ship like that.

Speaker 7 (08:29):
They do have engineers that they're talking to, so I mean,
it's not going to be just like just famous people
in it.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
I mean, there's gonna be.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
They're gonna get into like put the actual professionals that
made the magic there.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
They're gonna let them talk.

Speaker 6 (08:41):
I want to hear them talk about making it too,
as opposed to just being like everyone's just talking about.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
How great they love They like, how do you make it?
Love it so much?

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Some of the cats they have listened here are not
anybody that I reckon.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
These are like real cat Now I'm really excited.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
I want to hear from the guy that fixed the
tape machines. Yeah, yeah, that's I mean that's literally like
one of the cats. And there's like also like studio players.
Back then, a lot of the engineers were designing the
studios as they went because recording consoles were bought their modulars.
So you would pick all your because all studios there
wasn't a standardized type of studio, so you'd pick all

(09:16):
the options you wanted, and how many channels and then
how many channels you had going out versus coming in
depended on what type of tape machine you had. So
if you only had like a four track, you'd need
really just like four outs and four ins to play
back from, you know, but then as the track count
got bigger, But that was that was the thing. Like
all those early Neve consoles and stuff, they have similar

(09:39):
like eqs and compressors.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
On them, but like they're all different.

Speaker 9 (09:43):
You know.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
It was whatever you needed, you'd do yourself.

Speaker 7 (09:45):
Abby Road didn't go to like eight track until what
like seventy sixteen, seventy I think it, well, I.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Think it was.

Speaker 4 (09:53):
I think it was in sixty nine, maybe sixty nine, okay,
because Abbey Road was done on an eight track. It's
like Mike play yes right right, well yes, but when
they were doing eight track.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
They were doing sixteen.

Speaker 4 (10:06):
Track in America, but they were yeah, facts and then
it went.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
To twenty four track like very quickly after that.

Speaker 7 (10:13):
Well literally, I mean when I just think about like
the White album and they did a lot of it
four track, but they also went to tried it, which
had they had an eight track or whatever.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
But I was just reading King Scott's book.

Speaker 7 (10:25):
It's just it's just so interesting how like live literally
within a couple of years it wasn't an alien thing
for English musicians to be recording on a sixteen or twenty.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
Four or whatever.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Twenty four you know, pretty quick.

Speaker 7 (10:40):
Yeah, So anyways, so yeah, I'm looking forward to that
doc whenever it comes out. I literally am looking for
that spot or looking for when it's coming out. But
all right, also, let's see what else we have here,
Jacklke We didn't talk about Jack Black and Kyle Gas.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
I thought we did. I thought we did. Did we
about them?

Speaker 3 (11:03):
About them?

Speaker 6 (11:04):
Uh? Got in trouble right, He canceled some show of
if you don't know what we're talking about, Tenac's d
canceled some shows because when right when a forty T
bird got shot at Kyle Gast made some sort of
joke about like I just missed them or some kind
of like kind of a.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Throwaway don't miss next time sometime of.

Speaker 6 (11:23):
Joke like that, and and they're and like and then
Jack Black was like, oh hell no, you know, making
jokes like that, and I'm like apologized profusely and like
canceled the shows.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Yeah, I had kill off the shows, which seemed extreme
to me. Yeah, I'm just surprised.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
Also, this whole incident happened in Australia.

Speaker 6 (11:40):
We would have never even heard about that ship. I
would have never heard some lame joke he told one
time in the show.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
Yeah, Australian people were like or the people putting it on.
I guess somebody got pissed with them on behalf of
officially on behalf of Australia.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
Okay, yeah, yeah, okay, now you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
Those were just all because the audience seemed to not
give a ship because they were like all laughing and
having a good ass time. But yeah, Australian whoever was
in charge of like bringing them there was very upset
with them.

Speaker 7 (12:12):
Yeah, man, yeah, I mean I have I guess we
had the little video from from the birth from the
birthday thing.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
I'm not sure how.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
This when it happened. This is when it happened because
I didn't.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
I didn't see this ship really go crazy viral or I.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
Don't think anybody did. It didn't go viral.

Speaker 6 (12:31):
What I think what went viral is Jack Black's response,
right was canceled the shows and and like Jack.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
Was like, you're not taking this big money movies away
from me.

Speaker 7 (12:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (12:42):
He put out a statement about how you had nothing
to it. Yeah, he's like bro, He's like, bro, I
make all my money doing.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
Movies with the Rock and Kevin Harten.

Speaker 7 (12:52):
Movie coming out with Yeah there was a movie. Yeah,
there was a movie coming out. Literally when this happened.

Speaker 6 (12:57):
I'm panda yet do this don't even play with me?

Speaker 7 (13:04):
How much how much of the video it had?

Speaker 3 (13:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (13:12):
Why now.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Blarsho off and give him a fucking there's bar whip
drip off. Ship's next time.

Speaker 6 (13:29):
Don't miss jump it's next time. Oh no you didn't, Yeah,
like that that's real. Like, man, the audience, I don't
think giving ship I nobody gave a ship man.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
So yeah, he says name, I didn't know he says name.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
Don't miss him?

Speaker 6 (13:47):
Why am I on stage with you while you're saying
this ship crazy trying to go viral? So apparently they
he not he didn't clean it up, but they kind
of cleaned it up, like he's my friend. Yeah he said,
he was, like he's my Kyle Gass is still my friend.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
Yeah, well he and he Kyle also put up.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
But it might have been a little drunk. Man, this
is birthday. Was having a good time. Man. Man, I
think it's really a non issue.

Speaker 4 (14:13):
It was a non issue, and I thought, doesn't Hollywood
fucking hate Donald Trump?

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Would they be like fuck?

Speaker 6 (14:19):
Yeah, dude, I don't think any I don't think anybody
said ship until it got.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
Blown up by Jack.

Speaker 7 (14:26):
But everybody's respond everybody has been trying to put some
kind of like we need to have some decorum about
the fact that, you know, Trump almost got shot or whatever.
And then so yeah, no, everyone is not putting up
with that or whatever. Everyone's mad sensitive about it, even
though people still don't think that he really.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Got shot, that he literally didn't.

Speaker 7 (14:45):
It was like shrapnel or whatever, like you might have
just gotten I don't know's there's a lot of questions
about that.

Speaker 6 (14:52):
All right, man, You know thoughts and prayers. I feel
like it was a little bit of overreaction, but you
know facts. I mean, this happened a while ago. Didn't
nobody care about this ship? Like I think the most
upset person was Jack Black. He was pissed. You try
to fuck my money up.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
That's that's what I think. Yeah, I'm just like that
was man. Are you kidding me?

Speaker 2 (15:15):
You're crazy?

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Yeah, you're trying to fund money up?

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Are you crazy? Man? About to shoot Jumanji four or whatever?
Jumanji five?

Speaker 3 (15:21):
Bro, kung Fu Panda just came out.

Speaker 2 (15:24):

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Okay, So I'll send this one, James, uh this.

Speaker 2 (15:33):

Speaker 4 (15:35):
So I pulled up the article of this okay and
uh so, uh okay. There showed Newcastle on Tuesday was
canceled and they were scheduled to perform in Brisbane, Melbourne
and adding Adelaide. So he canceled the rest of the
Australian New Zealand before it was canceled. The whole Australian
Lastest comments drew stronger mut from Australian politicians, including to

(15:59):
the US having rowd, who said people joking about violence
made him feel sick.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Other countries don't play that ship like we do. Yeah,
we have. We do have a problem. We have a
whole gun problem.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
We've been killing people all the time.

Speaker 6 (16:11):
There's like problems on problems on problems, specifically that one.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
You know, the gun on every other countries figured it out.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
We just killed problem is very American. Yeah, don't bring
that ship over here. That sh ain't funny. I don't
want nobody out here getting no ideas that that's funny. Nope, yeah,
not cool, not cool.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
Bro Okay, So Jack.

Speaker 6 (16:30):
Black likes being like man, you know, I think it
really got to do the money man. He really likes
being like yeah, you know, like, when have we ever
done political humor?

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Like bro?

Speaker 7 (16:42):
Yeah, never, No, He's gotten waved a lot, so you
know he don't want to suck it up now real.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
So I sent you the this is the Uh, this
is Kodak Black?

Speaker 2 (16:55):

good black news? Why not? You got music coming out him?

Speaker 7 (17:04):

Speaker 4 (17:12):

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Yeah, so yeah, this is this is that. I mean,
I feel like that.

Speaker 7 (17:36):
I mean, we don't have to really give it that
much airtime here. I just would like to hear what
they're doing.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
I mean, he got him out of jail. I understand.

Speaker 6 (17:43):
I understand why he specifically him and whoever else who
specifically got a pardon.

Speaker 7 (17:51):

Speaker 3 (19:39):

Speaker 7 (19:40):
Also this mix is completely horrible, like that cod Black

they did this song called who Shot Trump? And Ted
Nugent is on it, like no, playing some guitar.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Ship at the end. Yeah, oh that that distorted guitar
in the background.

Speaker 4 (21:04):
He's known as the vegan Yogi rapper, son of rock
legend Ted new j Quten twenty eleven.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
He broke free of what the world knew him about
him with the experimentally hip hop sound. Blah blah blah
blah blah. Yeah, dude, all right, so yeah, turn it up.
Hsh what this so terrible? It's so terrible. Yeah, I

(21:40):
was like, sounds terriblelf just turn it up. Yeah, look
this is what he did with his time. This is
what he did.

Speaker 3 (21:49):
Was won't you fox turn?

Speaker 2 (21:55):
What's this guy?

Speaker 4 (21:56):
What's his name?

Speaker 3 (21:58):
Roco Mo?

Speaker 2 (21:59):
Roco Moon?

Speaker 6 (22:00):
God o, my god, this was This is what you
think is labs Kodac back you think just as Fire.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Is the company you keep it.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
I can go.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
This is worse than I thought it was gonna be. Yeah,
it is right, yes.

Speaker 6 (22:24):
Be brad boys are going to handle this in University
of Alabama. God, yeah, they really like this ship.

Speaker 4 (22:32):
Because I went, I went, like bored, I to try
to find that the guitar stuff ship.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
It's just like this that is go to guitar way
back in the battle. That sounds like that's probably him,
like that guitar.

Speaker 4 (22:48):
Where's the funny if if teed neug wouldn't even bother
to playing.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
This just made him sample his guitar. Guy he played
with his son, HEAs I ain't doing that, dude, best
part there go here it is well back some that
was definitely how that hip hop guitar solo.

Speaker 10 (23:16):
Yeah, he's according to Santana's bathroom probably, Well, you know,
just share that with you.

Speaker 2 (23:27):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (23:28):
Wow, bro, that's truly bad, absolutely terrible. Corey Wells sent
me that you were Corey Wells, Yeah, he just like
check this out. He didn't even realize he goes Ted
Nugent is on this. I was like what, And then
I was like, you do realize his tech nugent son.

Speaker 7 (23:42):
Because because you guess Corey Wells is a big Ten
Nugent fan, is he guitar?

Speaker 3 (23:48):
No, I'm asking you you think I'm I'm probably.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
The biggest Ted Nugent fan. I know, but I'm not
like a big Ted Nugent fan. I mean no, like
you like what two albums? Albums? I thought you're talking
about guitar playing guitar.

Speaker 4 (24:02):
So most of the Ted nug souff I listened to
was pre solo is Amboy Dukes, which is like the
garage rock band he was in before. Yeah, he did
the solo thing and it was like, uh no, what
is like not as punky as MC five, is more
like a psychedelic band type thing.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
Yeah, that's awesome.

Speaker 4 (24:22):
That's like where I really got into Ted Nuge guitar playing.
And then like the first two albums they've got some
cool ship on there.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
That's a boy.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
Dukes are awesome and it was like a you know,
organ player, two guitars, bass drums, singer and it was
a cool It was not a British band, but it
sounded just like that sixties.

Speaker 3 (24:42):
Well that's awesome, No, that.

Speaker 4 (24:44):
Well, that's a journey to the center of the mind
because like this is on the big single it had.

Speaker 7 (24:48):
Nobody nobody ever drops Nugent's fucking psychedelic.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
You know, that's crazy.

Speaker 9 (24:57):
Well know that.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
It was like a big thing. You ever.

Speaker 4 (25:00):
I think there's compilations called Nuggets, okay, you know, and
it was like old garage rock stuff and shipped from
the sixties from like regional labels and ship and it
would be all like underground stuff unless.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
You live near it, you know what I mean? Understood?

Speaker 4 (25:17):
Yeah, yeah, because everything back then, because I remember reading
something about like when Aerosmith started to become national because
everything was so regional. When they went to Texas to
do southern tours, like nobody knew who the fuck they were,
but they could sell out like New York or Boston
or wherever.

Speaker 6 (25:34):
You know.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
Wow, nugget is it called Nuggets? Was nuggets Nuggets.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
Yeah, that's crazy, like like weed nuggets, I think.

Speaker 6 (25:41):
Yeah, man, that is a really disgusting music coalition they
putting together between Kodak, this, Kodak, this guy, Kid Rock
and Favio.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
That is a nasty group. That is a filthy music coalition.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
That's what Trump thinks about it.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
That's what he thinks. We got the filtery itself though. Yeah,
it's all it's all types of horrible music.

Speaker 7 (26:05):
Yeah, all types of It's like I need to get
to the lowest and below, yeah, really to really get
them on my side.

Speaker 6 (26:11):
It's like, geez man, I would have never thought this
was Ted dig Yeah, this is the teed n I
wouldn't have thought that's what this.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
Was first place. I think it's like sixty seven ish.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
I mean he's all right, pretty young, right, I mean
it's like very young.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
Because the teenager self. It's the buzz tone. It's nice. Yeah,
it sounds like one of those bands.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
Yeah, that's cool.

Speaker 4 (26:43):
Actually that Ramon's album Acid Eaters, that's all sixties songs
they do.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
They cover this one on. There's a lot of other
really cool songs of that.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
Dude. Man, it's like Eaters. That's like some of the himbies.
Shit you've ever said on this podcast?

Speaker 4 (26:57):
What that Ted had cool band stuff? I mean yeah,
because then he met Jimmy Hendrix and that was like
his idol. Jimmy Hendricks was like like freaked out because
Ted Nugent like had a gun on him, like like
like in a holster, like like a cowboy. Yeah, like
the whole time he was like he was like he
was you know, he was like, Oh, he's nice, but
he's like, why do you got why is that gun there?

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Why are you like where you hanging out?

Speaker 9 (27:21):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (27:22):
So yeah, all right, let's see here.

Speaker 7 (27:27):
Let's go into movie stuff since because then we have
like mad big ups and then.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
We do slaps movie stuff. All right, quick quick movie reviews.

Speaker 6 (27:36):
Uh in my you know, uh sada to see as
many Nick Cages movies as possible. Saw movie Mandy, which
is not a new movie from twenty eighteen, but it's
new to me.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
Oh okay.

Speaker 6 (27:48):
It's kind of a horror indie horror movie in which
the I guess the plot is there's this small town
guy who's living with his family, but like there's this
uh kind of like fake Charles Manson esque cults. Vanning
through this area and they see his girlfriend and the
Charles Manson dude wants to kidnaps Nick Cage's girlfriend, and

(28:11):
you know, okay, and then Nick Cage goes full like
John Wick for the rest.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
Of the movie. Charles.

Speaker 6 (28:19):
Yeah, it's just like a very likable guy. Yeah, like
a Charles Manson like cult leader guy. And then he's
in a van. He's got one guy that's obviously a
dumb ass, this other older woman that's like an obvious
LSD burnout, and then like a one really weird guy
with him that's serial killer or whatever who He is
all over the place feeling itself so hard, like long

(28:42):
shots of just somebody's face in slow mode, forever forever, dude.
Once soon the scene comes out and you're watching it,
it's like, okay, this is some sort of like Slasher
was like, but and then I'm spoiling it because they
don't don't know about it seen it. The one weird
guy gets out of the van at the night time.

(29:04):
He goes out into the forest and he has like
a stone like ok arena thing and he like blows
it in the woods.

Speaker 4 (29:09):
It's like.

Speaker 6 (29:11):
And then like these like demon characters show up on
four wheelers, but they're not. You go like, oh, some
gang just showed up, but nah, it's like a hell
raiser looking dude covering in nails and then like some
other demon looking character and they show up to kill people.

Speaker 2 (29:29):
Nick Cage fights them. So overall is it? Do you
recommend it?

Speaker 4 (29:32):
Like?

Speaker 2 (29:32):
I do not recommend this movie. You got it's not fun.
If you got it's not fun. This is the problem
is slow and.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
Boring because there's a lot of the director.

Speaker 2 (29:41):
Is like feeling himself. That's terrible and boring.

Speaker 6 (29:47):
Hell, and you you want to just fast for fast
forward through most of the ship and then just watch
the Bonker season, like Nick Cage throw acts to somebody's
head and just get covered in blood for the rest of.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
The movie or whatever. Uh not that he doesn't even
have that many lines real movie.

Speaker 6 (30:01):
He's just kind of going crazy screaming and shit, he's
just like, yeah, throwing lines like my wife, you know.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (30:12):
I fell asleep more than once during the movie. It's
not good un with Nick Cage. The other movie I saw,
which is a new movie. I don't know if we
talked about Deadpool before. Deadpool is great. It's hilarious, straight
up comedy. See it, it's funny. Whole theater is cracking
up the whole time, kind of like bad Boys, old
theaters cracking up the whole time.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
Do you think Ryan Reynolds is funny?

Speaker 2 (30:33):
He's funny in this movie. If he does this and
nothing else, I'd be fine with it.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
Okay, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (30:39):
Just like what you don't like him? No, you know what.

Speaker 3 (30:42):
I do like him, But I do like him. I've
never really thought about.

Speaker 6 (30:47):
This as Deadpool. He's perfect because that's the character. It's
it's right on.

Speaker 7 (30:52):
I think it's because he's applied that character to a
lot of him him. And then it's like, yeah, it
depends on.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
What I could take her leave with some of the
with other movies, you know Van Wilder and all that.

Speaker 7 (31:01):
Ship it's fine, well Van Water like established, Yeah, and
then like he kind of you know, he put it
in a bunch of different.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Because I'm not co signing for no other movies.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
Was he Green Lantern?

Speaker 9 (31:12):
He was?

Speaker 2 (31:12):
That was awful. Yeah, that's the past.

Speaker 6 (31:15):
If they bring it up in this in Deadpool though,
it's funny they bring up all the ship movies that
he was in before in it all the ship was
superhero movies get brought up.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
It's great.

Speaker 7 (31:24):
Yeah, I won't I mean, I won't spoil it, but
like I mean, they've already talked about it a lot.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
In the thing, it's still hilarious.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
It gets great.

Speaker 6 (31:30):
Like you chantained him is hilarious. Gambit doing that creole accent.
It's fucking hilarious. I don't gonna get myself time time
like he's trying to do this. It's like, it's hilarious.
On the other movie I saw, which is a new movie,
is Twisters. If you thought that there needed to be
another Twister, so bad mistaken. That movie was so awful

(31:53):
most sense. It was exciting as hell in the theater
just watching all the ship. But Twisters makes no Twister
makes no sense. The whole thing is just like dumb
the World's Greatest belt. At the end of the first
Twister spoiler alert, they just wrap a regular belt around
you with his waists, putting on a put it on
a pipe, and then they all survived, even though the
fucking roof got pulled off totally.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
This belt was just fine anyway. That's the first Twister.

Speaker 6 (32:15):
Yeah, this new Twister, it's like almost the same movie
almost a couple of the same shots. It's like, we're
gonna go out there and throw some ship into the
tornado for a science fair project, and then like all
of those characters like die in the first scene or whatever. Yes,
that's not even a spoiler.

Speaker 4 (32:36):
Yeah, because don't you think they would just have like
little drones or something that the put the things in
the tornadoes.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
Really, it's not how science works above the tornadoes.

Speaker 3 (32:53):
They drop.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
Like that, I guess, not not even not even mentioned,
nothing like that even mintioned it's funny.

Speaker 6 (33:01):
So so the whole plot is like this girl is
trying to figure out how to make tornado stop with
some science thing which she's put like salt or something
into the tornado. But they're all just running away from
tornadoes the whole time. One of the one character is
kind of funny because he's like a cowboy streamer. He's
like live the whole time. He's like he's shooting fireworks
into the tornado. That was pretty funny. That's pretty funny.

(33:25):
That movie also not good at all. No need to say, well,
I don't.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
Think it's news that just let you know it is
random and ship. It's not good.

Speaker 4 (33:36):
Twisters that was the movie where it was like Van
Halen had the big comeback album at the same time.

Speaker 7 (33:42):
No, no, Twister one, Twister one. They but they put Yeah,
they put a song on the sound.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
Roth uh No, yes, no, David Lee Roth, yes it up.

Speaker 4 (33:53):
I got the greatest song. It's on the Twister soundtrack.
Is davidly Roth?

Speaker 3 (33:58):
No that is no, it's not. It's man, it's Van
Hagar pull it up.

Speaker 2 (34:03):
Nope, it's not. It's not. Pull it up anyway. Almost
no recognizable actors in the whole movie at all.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
There's no Hell.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
There's no Helen Hunts or someone. There's no I mean,
they didn't have that money. Jack Quaid. Who's in the
other one? Is quad?

Speaker 4 (34:20):
Is that Pullman one of the buildings? It was one
of them, Bill Pax, No, I'm sorry Bill Pullman? Is
uh uh independence Bill Pass Yes?

Speaker 2 (34:32):
Yeah, sorry, Yeah.

Speaker 7 (34:34):
And yeah they if they have they do another one,
they should call it less Twisters again.

Speaker 2 (34:37):
Yeah, I mean, why not and get chovy jackers check
check chick. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (34:42):
Didn't horrible music throughout in which, like now, I swear
to god, they're just using AI to take clips of
the script and then making ship songs that kind of
like effect, like the like the music in the background
will be saying word for words something that's happening on
the scene, like and it's too on the new it's weird.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
That sucks.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
Okay, is this the one we got?

Speaker 4 (35:04):
The got the humans being there's a humans supposed to
be wise, magic or something.

Speaker 3 (35:09):
No, that's that's what I was telling you that they
they came out with like a best of like.

Speaker 4 (35:14):
Okay, Damn said that David Lee Rothorn was a feature
on the best of album.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Yeah, Kelly wins hit the ding.

Speaker 3 (35:22):
Yeah this this was on the Twister soundtrack. And this
is a good song.

Speaker 6 (35:27):
Well, nothing that's good on the Twisters soundtrack. Why didn't
hear the soundtrack? He just had a couples like some
country ship. It's like some country ship.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
Mark Knopfler, Alison Crowd, Tory.

Speaker 4 (35:39):
Amos, Rusted Root is on it, Dame Soul Asylums, Lisa Lobe, Bredot,
Chili Pepper Dolls, spring Break, Stevie Dickson, Lindsay.

Speaker 3 (35:54):
Got Landslide or something.

Speaker 2 (35:55):
Yeah, yes, that's that's Sami hay Garth.

Speaker 9 (35:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (36:00):
So yeah, did you say I was right, James.

Speaker 2 (36:04):
Yeah, but this isn't the song I was thinking of
I know, because you were wrong thinking about the wrong song.
What you want? What do you want? Now?

Speaker 3 (36:10):
Then?

Speaker 2 (36:10):
What do you want?

Speaker 3 (36:11):
Sam?

Speaker 2 (36:11):
Right? Sam? You're right? All right? Yeah, I didn't know
if you want a sound a factory.

Speaker 3 (36:17):
No, you don't want to we'll work on that. Yeah,
what do you need your plus a?

Speaker 6 (36:24):
Right?

Speaker 2 (36:26):
He did it?

Speaker 3 (36:27):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (36:28):
Uh, I think we gotta do mad big ups do it.
Here we go.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
Number one.

Speaker 2 (36:36):
Phil Donahue, Oh what damn? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (36:39):
You Oh he's up there.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
And I love that show as a kid.

Speaker 6 (36:45):
That was it's sick from school ships watching Donna here bro.
He was.

Speaker 7 (36:51):
He was like the last of the non judgmental like dude,
even though like Jerry Springer, he kind of took onto
that like.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
It's like a he's like a gonzo version of Jerry
of Donaghue. Yeah, Donnie didn't try to have like brawls
on his shit.

Speaker 6 (37:06):
It attempted to kind of be like sixty minutes, except
with like a live audience and like it was a
little bit it was way more serious.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
He was a little more serious.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
But yeah, he was.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
I mean, he was good though. He kept it like
kind of right down the middle.

Speaker 2 (37:21):
You know.

Speaker 3 (37:22):
He didn't like try to get like huge ratings.

Speaker 2 (37:25):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (37:26):
Like he had the Jackson family on like way after
they were like famous, you know, just had them on
the whole family over the whole hour.

Speaker 3 (37:35):
I always like don Hue and he no.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
He didn't.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
I thought he married kind chunk.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
That's Mori Poviage, you know, I was thinking that. He
was thinking that too. Man, Oh my god, I was like, no,
different guy.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
No, he did marry like somebody that was like famous
or something. But uh yeah Phil Donahue man, I mean.

Speaker 2 (37:55):
TV Titan.

Speaker 3 (37:57):
Yeah, yeah, he was.

Speaker 7 (38:00):
Eighty eight years old. Oh yeah, this is the this

forgot to send you here. I'm gonna send this here
right now because this is really funny. This is him
bringing two live crew on the show to talk about

(38:21):
this the free speech.

Speaker 3 (38:23):
No they like put that.

Speaker 7 (38:24):
I mean, I think they talk about the free speech,
but they're also performing performed for the audience or whatever.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (38:29):
Yeah, this shit is like kind of amazing.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (38:33):
Jerry Springers like was kind of doing the same ship
and then he was like I'm gonna bring two clansmen
on and get them beat up.

Speaker 7 (38:38):
Yeah, bring some clans. He would he would stop the
fight before the fight would happen. But like Geralda or Heraldo,
he was like, you know what, Yeah, y'all can fight.

Speaker 2 (38:48):
Here we go.

Speaker 7 (38:50):
Oh they are they are performing, Yeah, they're performed. I
just hit the speaker on the hold on.

Speaker 6 (38:56):
Man, they got the dancers. I wonder what so what
song are they doing to perform? The funk shot, the function,
the funk shop.

Lead singer of Great White singer Jack Russell.

Speaker 4 (42:45):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (42:46):
Sorry, yeah, great white they had They had a couple
like cock rock songs back.

Speaker 3 (42:51):
In the eighties.

Speaker 2 (42:52):
Cheated death once before. Yeah, that's how it came for him.
That's the story. Oh they did.

Speaker 4 (42:57):
Uh they had power technics in a club and a
low ceiling and it caught him fire and most of
the people there died.

Speaker 2 (43:03):

Speaker 6 (43:07):
Great disaster. Yeah man, yeah, so all I know about them. Yeah,
let those fools never play a show again. You know.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
That's it, man, Sorry, y'all, that's it.

Speaker 3 (43:18):
No, they got back together.

Speaker 2 (43:19):
One more text for y'all.

Speaker 3 (43:20):
It was bad for a few years for him, but
then they got back on the road and uh, he
kept it going. They kept it going.

Speaker 4 (43:27):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (43:27):
Yeah, so he passed away. That's the That's pretty much it. Okay,
one more all right? Uh Greg Kuhon I believe is
his name? Uh, get the man Greg con. I think
it's Greg khn. But he was the singer who had
the song the breakup song and the Jeopardy song from

(43:49):
the eighties.

Speaker 3 (43:50):
Remember the Jeopardy song.

Speaker 2 (43:51):
The Jeopardy Jeopardy like the theme of the show.

Speaker 7 (43:56):
No, he had like a it was like a it
was like a novelty eighty song about Jeopardy or something.
I don't know what that is, or about me and
some girl and Jeopardy or some ship or whatever. But
uh yeah, but it was like a big song. It
was a big song. But like he also I think
wrote other really big songs too, but the Jeopardy song
was the one that, uh.

Speaker 3 (44:18):
That went crazy.

Speaker 7 (44:20):
But it was like, yeah, it was kind of like
a novelty kind of thing, like same around the same
time as like weird al and stuff. It's kind of
it's kind of in that vibe. Do you need to
know how to spell his last name?

Speaker 2 (44:32):
No, I'm just looking at the Jeopardy song?

Speaker 3 (44:34):
Okay, cool?

Speaker 6 (44:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (44:35):
Yeah, put Greg add Greg to that.

Speaker 2 (44:40):
Search Jeopardy great.

Speaker 3 (44:52):
Ken or con something like that.

Speaker 2 (44:55):
Yeah. Cover artist insane? What the fuck is? Who's that?

Speaker 4 (45:18):
It's like a guitar guy gets struck by lightning on
a caution sign.

Speaker 2 (45:25):
That like you think cover art is struck you can exploding. Wow,
it's a wild cover. I never heard this song before.
He's a big hit.

Speaker 6 (45:47):
Clapping at turned up. Okay, that's got nothing to do
with the TV show Jeopardy.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
Yeah, I don't think it does.

Speaker 3 (46:01):
But they I think they put the video like he's
kind of styled off of it though.

Speaker 2 (46:06):
Okay, yeah, it's weird, all right, interesting.

Speaker 7 (46:10):
Yeah, all right, so yeah, Mad Big Ups to him
as well, and we're gonna be right back.

Speaker 6 (46:16):
With one more short ones and more short one beat,
yeah beat, King, Mad Big Ups. Oh yeah, he's a
Houston producer and rapper making a lot. He had a
handful of like viral hit hits on TikTok and some
other places. That song lead and that assd in the
Circle that was another one. Okay, he had a couple

(46:37):
of like pretty big songs. He also produces for some
other acts. But he was pretty young. I think he
was like thirty nine or forty years old. So Mad
Big Ups big embolism ones. That's rough, that's rough. Yeah,
Mad Big Ups bea king.

Speaker 3 (46:53):
Yep.

Speaker 7 (46:54):
Okay, take two back slaps see Welcome to Ship House
Boys Radio Bike got slaps on, slaps.

Speaker 3 (47:13):
On, slaps, slaps on slap.

Speaker 2 (47:16):
Slaps right here, bitch what you got? All right, Well,
let's let's see what I'm we're in the mood for.

Speaker 3 (47:25):
Uh huh. I will say we did add a spanking
brand new.

Speaker 7 (47:33):
Like hot Hot off the presses Bruno Mars and Lady
gagat because they weren't cowboy hats. They've they alread they
played the song together this weekend because Bruno played in Cali.
I think this weekend I saw a ton of clips
on TikTok on it and uh, lady good guy showed
up did the duet.

Speaker 2 (47:56):
She's playing pianos. So that's song she did on the
Olympics was wack. I'm happy to hear it. Get back
to it.

Speaker 3 (48:04):
I don't know if I didn't I didn't even see it,
or don't worry about it and check for it.

Speaker 2 (48:08):
Don't worry about it.

Speaker 3 (48:08):
Great, okay, Lady Gaga. Bruno mars die with.

Speaker 6 (48:14):
A smile, saying Bruno product, keep your doors open, Bruno products.

Speaker 2 (48:26):
Ah, I just.

Speaker 3 (48:29):
Woke up from my dream but you and I had
to say b.

Speaker 5 (48:37):
And I don't know what it all means, but since
I survived, I realized, wherever you go, that's where I fall.

Speaker 3 (48:51):
Nobody's promised to ma. So I'm a love your webbing.

Speaker 2 (48:57):
I like just the last night, it's the that'st night
if the world they left.

Speaker 9 (49:06):
To the show.

Speaker 10 (49:11):
That the I was older and.

Speaker 3 (49:14):
Don't tell him to last What's.

Speaker 1 (49:21):
You just fell away.

Speaker 3 (49:25):
And that's the I don't want to do nast you
got to following that one dog wise last I don't

(49:51):
even want to do the same anymore. You already know
what you need me.

Speaker 2 (50:00):
One side and fall whereever you go. Last fire our five.

Speaker 1 (50:08):
Nobody's promised to MA, so I'm allowed you ever.

Speaker 9 (50:14):
I like it's the last night, Like it's the last night.

Speaker 2 (50:19):
That's FN was bad to think.

Speaker 3 (50:22):
I wanna bends to the show.

Speaker 2 (50:28):
That's the body was old and time time on.

Speaker 1 (50:32):
The last was no.

Speaker 5 (50:37):
Imbuta you just got back and side.

Speaker 2 (50:44):
That's fine and the.

Speaker 3 (50:49):
I wanna be list to you.

Speaker 2 (50:56):
Right out right. Think it'd be a different group. Where
is it?

Speaker 3 (51:00):
It'll be something else.

Speaker 2 (51:04):
It's fine.

Speaker 7 (51:06):
I think.

Speaker 3 (51:17):
Little guitar ish hell thing.

Speaker 7 (51:20):
All right, Well, yeah, you kind of called it on that.
I was not expecting that it would be kind of
the it's like silk sonic.

Speaker 2 (51:28):
Yeah, I can't tell immediately.

Speaker 6 (51:30):
Yeah, as soon as I hear that reverb coming off
that that guitar, when it went stereo like that, I
was like, oh, this is that guitar.

Speaker 2 (51:37):
That door is open, same product.

Speaker 3 (51:39):
Yeah, guitar, this saturation, Yeah, it sounds.

Speaker 6 (51:41):
It sounds great. This song is fine. You know, I'm
not I'm not going crazy for it. You know, it
feels like what do you call this, like big pop
get a Grammy type song, you know what I mean,
duet type song, power ballat there you go, yeah, the
power ballot.

Speaker 2 (52:02):
Sure, this is fine. I mean they sound great.

Speaker 3 (52:07):
Yeah, it's it's a I think it's a good direction.

Speaker 7 (52:13):
Drums, Yeah, I mean I wouldn't be surprised if that
if that's Anderson, if not, if it's not Bruno or something,
but it sounds like it could be Anderson, probably on drums. Yeah,
I mean it sounds like the same band. It sounds
like it's the same concept.

Speaker 2 (52:29):
I'm not mad at that.

Speaker 7 (52:31):
I'm happy if that's if he feels like that's the
right way for him to go production wise or whatever.
I think that's pretty cool because that's where I was.
That's where my question was. I was like, where are
you gonna go from here? And just kind of staying
in that lane and then bringing Lady good Guy into
that Yeah, because.

Speaker 2 (52:49):
She can sing yea is my favorite part of the
whole thing.

Speaker 9 (52:53):
Yea.

Speaker 3 (52:54):
Yeah. When she came in was that was awesome.

Speaker 6 (52:56):
It was nice to hear her in a different style
of product was very It was nice to hear because
she her voice sounds great.

Speaker 2 (53:02):
You know, she's got like grit to it, you know.

Speaker 7 (53:05):
I think that's what I liked about her originally, is
that she she does have that kind of feel to
her to her vocals that is like kind of an
R and B.

Speaker 2 (53:15):
Yeah she can. She knows not to lean in.

Speaker 3 (53:18):
Got it, Yeah, she got it.

Speaker 9 (53:19):
She just got it.

Speaker 2 (53:20):
Kids, She got that thing, got the thing.

Speaker 3 (53:21):
Yeah. So this this is passable for me as well.

Speaker 2 (53:23):
I think it's fine. It's word I mean, what else
do you say?

Speaker 10 (53:27):
Yeah, so good.

Speaker 3 (53:30):
It's passionate, you know.

Speaker 7 (53:33):
Because it's not a reinvention of the Wheel of Bruno's anything,
you know again, because I think it's just really adding
Lady Gagay into this and giving her, giving her some
of that shine and like, hey, look, put some of
this on your album.

Speaker 3 (53:48):
It will be better, you know.

Speaker 4 (53:50):
So I think that I dig it, Okay, Uh, I
liked it, man, Like I said, she was my favorite
part of it because you don't hear or do this
stuff all the time, and it's really nice to hear her,
not on the music she got famous for, because that
music is kind of like this she wrote good songs,

(54:10):
but the way their songs are presented, it's like the
most obnoxious, abrasive, like like all that ship like the
early stuff was all like right, not my favorite type
of uh. And like I guess the dance music aspect
of it maybe was what I wasn't into the most.

(54:30):
But it's not like light listening. It's it's pretty fucking annoying.
But she's super talented and her voice is awesome. But
you know, I'm gonna say slaps just because of that,
And I wish she was in it, like from the
beginning of the song instead of coming in a little later.

Speaker 6 (54:51):
I agree, put her into the beginning. Yep, I think
that'd be tight starting a song now. But yeah, that
was that was cool. Yeah, man, I don't I don't
understand why they're wearing cowboy hats.

Speaker 2 (55:02):
I was really disappointed that there wasn't some cowboys shit.

Speaker 6 (55:05):
Yeah, because it seems kind of like chasing a little
bit to just be dressed as if it's like we
are from cowboys from the seventies.

Speaker 2 (55:13):
It kind of looks like they're the Grand Old Opera
or something. Yeah, it looked really cool. Anything like that.

Speaker 6 (55:19):
I hate that type of cover art that doesn't reflect
what it is. The video, the clip video of the
video I saw, I was like, oh, maybe this have
some country in.

Speaker 7 (55:26):
It or so something that also would be a thing
that would make sense to me. I'll be like, of course,
of course you could go in the country.

Speaker 2 (55:33):
It was a trap, you know, why not? You got us?

Speaker 3 (55:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (55:36):
But uh, song is not which makes it better? It's okay,
it's better. I don't want to hear that.

Speaker 3 (55:41):
Probably gonna be downhill from here.

Speaker 2 (55:43):
Oh wow, save your predictions. What else? What else we got?

Speaker 3 (55:48):
James? Because I don't remember what else?

Speaker 2 (55:50):
Halsey? Okay, okay, okay, Kelly, why are you? What's up?

Speaker 6 (55:56):
Man?

Speaker 4 (55:56):
No?

Speaker 2 (55:57):
I like you. I can.

Speaker 3 (55:59):
I can remember a lot of the times when we've
listened to her before.

Speaker 2 (56:01):
I think we liked her.

Speaker 3 (56:03):
Okay, I think it was. Yeah, I think it was
maybe jam Maybe it was one day that I wasn't
there you just chill?

Speaker 2 (56:08):
But what do you gotta be like that? Okay? Okay?

Speaker 6 (56:16):
So this is the hall lonely is the Muse's so corny? Uh?

Speaker 3 (56:25):
The murrors.

Speaker 2 (56:29):
Stop might.

Speaker 3 (56:39):
Cool saturation?

Speaker 1 (56:42):
Second bacade of My first Missippe.

Speaker 2 (56:52):
Waiting all these drum sets had drum set.

Speaker 6 (57:00):
I did join.

Speaker 1 (57:04):
I always I was so weirder.

Speaker 9 (57:09):
Jesus was ye you, but I was real frost my
soul pieces that.

Speaker 2 (57:16):
I learned about you on a screw and I can.

Speaker 1 (57:20):
Always slee perfectly for you already.

Speaker 3 (57:27):
Body that the side that I'm on.

Speaker 2 (57:38):
And there like like boxed off my headphone. So it's
not it's not cool. Look, it's not a nice ball
because it doesn't.

Speaker 6 (57:46):
Slap me for to I concess shut upside and tired.

Speaker 9 (57:55):
Wide don't like that.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
So I'm like that you guy said, It's like it's
just so much Woeland.

Speaker 3 (58:04):
It's like, don't drop in the vocals.

Speaker 6 (58:07):
Yeah, speaks of the music video, the music, it's all
shaking out.

Speaker 2 (58:11):
Yeah, it sounds like shore.

Speaker 11 (58:13):
I'll saved.

Speaker 2 (58:17):
So much.

Speaker 1 (58:19):
Jesus was swe too, but it's like special Jesus, that.

Speaker 2 (58:27):
Girl boys so too perfectly for you.

Speaker 1 (58:35):
Are heady body that the size that the mobs.

Speaker 4 (59:00):
No articulation of guitars. It's just like a wall of
like is this your review? It's gotta go right in man,
like what the hell is going on?

Speaker 2 (59:09):
It's like, yeah, it's just like this, it's just like
a wash of like it is a lie I'm not
offended by that. It's it's just you just don't like it.

Speaker 6 (59:30):
Don't like that it's grading like it makes it and
when you turn it up, it doesn't seem to get louder.

Speaker 2 (59:36):
It just gets more like distorted and like muffled.

Speaker 3 (59:39):
It's like I kind of I hear what you're saying.

Speaker 4 (59:41):
It's like I know what they're going for, but I
don't think they're doing a very good job of it.
It's like it's like over limited. It's not like when
you hear the hip hop stuf where it's like there's
an eight to eight drop in like like there's room
for it.

Speaker 2 (59:53):
I guess, you know, like it'll go like.

Speaker 4 (59:55):
Other stuff isn't having this like, but with this there's
like sing it happened on top of it and like
drums and stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:00:02):
And it just comes out sound like like it's weird.
I don't like that.

Speaker 4 (01:00:08):
And also the last time she did stuff, it was
the songs are cooler. This guy sounds like some like.

Speaker 2 (01:00:13):
New metal like cheap.

Speaker 6 (01:00:18):
Yet it's like Nirvana Evans, Nirvana, Ye, Incubus Light. I mean, honestly,
Incubus would have had some scratching in there. The lyrics
would respect incubus.

Speaker 3 (01:00:31):
Lyrics would have been hidden too, it would we've heard
her do better before.

Speaker 2 (01:00:35):
So I'm not I'm not in.

Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
I am.

Speaker 7 (01:00:40):
I am gonna let it slap on this one. I
wish I just wish that, like the lyrics were a
little bit better. Uh you know, yeah, it definitely feels
like like that girly.

Speaker 3 (01:00:57):
Yeah, like it's it's right there, you know what I mean. Like,
I feel like, again, the lyrics kind of hold it
back a little bit.

Speaker 7 (01:01:05):
I liked the first I liked it. When she got
to the first chorus and it got louder, I liked it.
But I felt like that she could have started like
soaring then instead of waiting until the second chorus when
she came back around and then she did it again,
and I don't know, it just could have been it
could have been better. I feel like that she if

(01:01:25):
she had broken out of that, but the rhythm thing
that she was doing the whole time, it's like if
she broke out of that, I would have been like, okay,
few like at least it's like moving in a different way.
But but I mean I still liked it because I
liked the drums. The drums felt very real. That was awesome,
Like like the dude hit the time, didn't feel like

(01:01:48):
it was like right in time, you know, didn't feel
like it was like everything was put on.

Speaker 3 (01:01:52):
The grid and shit. So production did not bug me
as much as James. So I'm gonna give it. Yeah,
I'm giving that a slap.

Speaker 6 (01:02:02):
And uh, you know yeah, I also wasn't upset about
the the mixes fine, I mean it was rumbling, but
and we didn't sound no crazier than some other ship
we heard, you know what I mean, It's like I
think it just it's obviously on purpose. Yeah, you know
so uh yeah, the lyrics and all this is just
like I can't get behind. I can't condone this. Drums

(01:02:24):
sounded fine. The drums deff it all. All the musicianship
and all that was just fine. I feel like we've
it's been a while since we've seen any of these
big acts have music that doesn't sound kind of good.
It's usually whether the artist sounds good and the lyrics
and the kind of what kind of song they put
together they're not is it boring or not?

Speaker 2 (01:02:45):
But this man is just like it was. The chords
are a little boring, you know, it was.

Speaker 6 (01:02:51):
It was a little bit of like a schlog schlog fest,
a little bit from yeah, so now I can't I
can't let this lap.

Speaker 4 (01:03:00):
M.

Speaker 2 (01:03:01):
I can't do it. No no, no, no, yeah, no
no no no no, no, no no no.

Speaker 3 (01:03:08):
Howsley Okay, Housley.

Speaker 2 (01:03:11):
And who's who's the first?

Speaker 3 (01:03:12):
Oh? Yeah, we lady? Good guy?

Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
Yeah? And uh, okay, congratulations. Let's see here some of
these you did last week. I can't remember. This was terrible.
I'm looking at that quaivo thing. Oh man? Uh did one?
You're the one with Freddy Gibbs last week? No, let's

(01:03:35):
see that one then Freddy Gibbs.

Speaker 4 (01:03:37):
Uh uh Carpentaria, Ray Khalil, Khalil, Ray Khalil.

Speaker 2 (01:03:43):
Okay, Carbonara Carbinar. Dude, let's see where I had at.

Speaker 4 (01:03:51):
Here we go, Let's see this song that's called yeah Carpenteria.

Speaker 2 (01:03:59):
Okay, say goodbye.

Speaker 9 (01:04:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:04:15):
I want your talk back to fail for your hello,
thank you by that name? Your hard paper? Do you even.

Speaker 2 (01:04:34):
Another?

Speaker 1 (01:04:34):
Man? You don't even see? Man, we know you're gonna
need it when your member don't talk okay fails. You
don't mean you I to, so somebody last give it

(01:05:02):
in your voice. I didn't know about a system of
us dream in my mind.

Speaker 3 (01:05:09):
Let's set you.

Speaker 1 (01:05:11):
Just crush of remember some testy glass away. Yeah's late
ninety fight up just by. He came out with a
bounce and look up to the house. Never heard of
the drought and you feeling me tenlessly by? Did the
please past them because we got sex with the pots.
I wasn't always a hard time call him in the

(01:05:32):
middle with you.

Speaker 3 (01:05:33):
We never did.

Speaker 6 (01:05:35):
You know? I'm not.

Speaker 1 (01:05:37):
You are the girls, So why are you playing again?
We stay up until when they have participation, mouthing to
those guys. I know for the most part, you.

Speaker 9 (01:05:51):
Can never freeze up and make a bad bit geezer,
aren't we just chilling Italian cat from some jillers? And
all the ships for the taking? They taking just what
you give us. Long the mable se breeze down peas,
the palm trees backing tall peas. Now by vacation them
all de big wally ship, big damon rabbit. Bacility is
the most you keep on moving, the more exposed the
pitties get him riding in the big who you dipping?
Were living single h the copad you know on eve

(01:06:13):
it doubles it when we got in the club, crying call.
As soon as the liquor hed last one in gender
class someone ahead, is this bits bit gone? We could
see the whole COMPI I'm out the double form tis uth.
Ain't nobody see me? I'm being able to sway gun
metal blue level glo. Ain't nobody seen me? Get ready?

Speaker 4 (01:06:35):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:06:49):
So you said, ray Khalil, how spelled that name?

Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
R A E r A E.

Speaker 6 (01:06:55):
Okay, all right, I go first. Uh that was nice,
like sound like the roots is something. Yeah, I'm gonna
let that slap. I mean, the band was killing it.
They sounded great. Uh, I like her sing rap her
type of sing rapping. Freddy GiB sounded good. It sounds
like his microphone was a little a little boxy compared

(01:07:16):
to Homegrows microphone.

Speaker 2 (01:07:18):
He's a little like it like too loud or something.
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:07:22):
Something weird about it up front, Yeah, something weird about it,
like proximity sound like this real boxy.

Speaker 2 (01:07:27):
It was like right in the middle of the mix.
It's also double.

Speaker 3 (01:07:31):
Is that what it was?

Speaker 8 (01:07:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:07:32):
Like listen, it's uh, it didn't sound double. That was
the thing.

Speaker 1 (01:07:37):
Wasn't always remember something.

Speaker 2 (01:07:41):
Jesus you can up and make a bad gess up.

Speaker 7 (01:07:45):
We just.

Speaker 2 (01:07:48):
For the thick and they take that lead vocal and like, yeah,
the alls like squashed too. Yeah it's compressive.

Speaker 6 (01:08:04):
That was a little odd at first, but they still
He's not kind of like that, that's that's nit picking,
you know. Yeah, but yeah, I'm I'm gonna let this
leapt all right. Sound sounds great, you know, it's just
so funny, but I almost feel like it he didn't
even really be there.

Speaker 4 (01:08:19):
I mean, it's cool and all, but you know, you
know what I mean, but it's like it didn't and
it got me just thinking in my head about like,
so it was like, what's to do with like having
rap stuff in the middle of this? This is like
you have a guitar solo and a rock song. It's
like you have to have a rapper and an R
and B song. I feel like it's just been it's
it gets done a lot, it's been done for a
long time. I feel like R and B right now

(01:08:39):
is the close to rap is it's been in a
long time. Yeah, you know, like the rappers sound like
are what was R and Yes?

Speaker 6 (01:08:47):
You know, so Freddy Gibbs he's sometimes sing raps, you know,
like all Kendrick sing raps. So yeah, I agree. It's
like I think it's just putting the name on there.
It's like, oh shit, Freddy song. Really that's really what
it is excited about, you know.

over Yeah, he sounds at home on Yeah, he sounds
at home on the mad Libs stuff as he does

great on this, and uh, the song was dope. It
was a nice surprise. I'm definitely going to check for
her some more. I love the fact that how it
felt seamless, like the way that she would go into
like a flow.

Yeah, you know what I mean. It's it's a light slap. Yeah,
it's fine.

Speaker 4 (01:10:06):
I liked it, but I also feel like I don't
even think you need to have that version there, and
it could just be like two minutes long.

Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
I can get behind that. Yeah whatever, No more clicks?

Speaker 6 (01:10:16):

they are not not like they suck, but it's uh
there you tell it's like actually a person playing drums
feels like a band or yeah, it feels like they're
really you know yeah, uh you know that. I'll say
that was refreshing.

Speaker 2 (01:14:18):
It's it was good. It was good.

I like this too, I like I like, I like
everything about it, dude.

or something, because like the one side is like he
just stays.

Speaker 4 (01:15:12):
With one is dancing, the other one does a bunch
of tom stuff. Also it's miked up different. Yeah, it's
like the one on the right side is close micd Yeah,
the other one sounds a little distance, right.
