In another solo episode, I go deep into why I decided to stop drinking at the start of 2023. The idea for this episode sparked when my friend asked me for advice on how I had stopped drinking while travelling and if I had any tips for her as she wanted to do the same. This was something I had done before, but not to the level of commitment that I feel this time.

This episode if for those who are intrigued on what it is like to not drink in very testing situations, meeting new people, how to find aligned friends and are curious as to why society leans on drinking so much to help us socialise.

Here's a break down of what I cover in this episode:

Why I decided to quit alcohol and coffee

  • The link to meditation and how it disabled me from sticking to routine
  • Drinking and Travelling.
  • My Mother's Death from Alcoholism
  • How stopping drinking gave me more self love and confidence.
  • How to make not drinking fun.
  • How to step through fear and align with your authenticity.
  • Understanding your WHY to stop.
  • How to put money into your desires that you would normally spend on drinking.
  • Leaning into sober conversations and dating.
  • How to communicate to your friends about your boundaries.
  • Alcoholism in Family and Trauma

Please don't be shy and let me know if this episode helped you in any way or you are struggling with stepping into the sober, most aligned version of yourself, I am always here to help.
