In this discussion with Heather Rama we discuss Heather's journey into Yoga and Ayurveda, the symbolism in the Ramayana and meaning of Selfless Service. Heather Rama is a Certified Yoga Therapist, caregiver, animal lover, and parent. She graduated from college with a BFA in Theater, but caregiving has always been her calling. This calling guided her into yoga, and it eventually evolved into a path towards her Yoga Therapy Certification. Her empathetic instincts and the desire to help others guided Heather in her studies of Ayurveda and Vedanta. She now resides in Kailua-Kona, on the Big Island of Hawai’i.
