Facing Challenges
In 2008 Sue experienced a very difficult time both professionally and personally where she was going through a divorce, her house was in foreclosure, and her two businesses were struggling. Unfortunately, her struggles continued when she lost both of her parents and her brother in the years following. She explained how a friend's words, "I suggest you get about getting back on your horse" could have been perceived as unkind, aided her in pushing forward and bouncing back from the challenging cycle she was in.
