MacKenzie Leigh (02:16):
It's in New
Jersey this year.
They travel the whole country.
I've never been to one, butwhen I heard it was the last one
I figured I'd miss it.
What I've never been to one,but when I heard it was the last
one, I figured I'd miss it.
Jay Franze (02:26):
What would you look
forward to the most?
MacKenzie Leigh (02:28):
I bought a VIP
pass for myself so I wouldn't
have to wait in line to meetpeople, which is cool, I will
say, hoping for the Jims, thePams, angela and Dwight.
I've already signed on, so veryexcited about that.
And then, obviously, kevinGotta meet Kevin.
Jay Franze (02:45):
Angela and Dwight.
They they got nothing going on.
You know they're going to bethere.
MacKenzie Leigh (02:49):
Oh, come on,

MacKenzie Leigh (02:58):

excited to meet all of them.
Tiffany Mason (03:01):
Absolutely.
Jay Franze (03:02):
I'd be okay with
just pam.
Tiffany Mason (03:05):
I would actually
like to meet ned ed nelm ed nelm
ed helms.
Thank you, yes he's the singer,he's the best one he's the
singer and he was in thehangover and I just think that
he's probably like uh, I don'tknow, I just feel like he
probably is funny.
I just like funny people, sohe's's probably funny, fair.
I agree.
(03:25):
Yeah, all right.
Cool.
But I will say, sean, oh, myhusband will not allow us to
watch any of the Office episodeswhere Andy is the main boss.
Okay, if you read thedescriptions, it has to say
Michael, blah, blah, blah, blah,blah.
MacKenzie Leigh (03:50):
And then he's
like, okay, we can watch that
one.
He only likes the originals.
Please tell me you guys arewatching the super fan episodes
on peacock.
We tried, I don't know.
Okay, oh, my god changed mylife, amazing.
I'll give it another deletedscenes in one.
It's amazing.
Sponsored by peaconsored byPeacock.
Tiffany Mason (04:07):
We're not, but if
Peacock wants to reach out to
us, jfranzycom.
Jay Franze (04:12):
We have a new
manager.
I like that, fantastic.
Well, ms New Manager, let'sdive in and just tell me, why
did you choose the style ofmusic that you've chosen?
MacKenzie Leigh (04:23):
Why did you
choose the style of music that
you've chosen?
Yeah, so I like to genre bend alittle bit.
My whole life I've sang.
Tiffany Mason (04:30):
I like this
terminology.
Genre bend.
MacKenzie Leigh (04:33):
Yeah, so I work
with Red 13 Records.
They have a couple of differentoffices throughout the country,
but I work with the office inNew England.
Shout out, mark and Sean andJohnny and Jimmy and everyone.
They're all amazing, but theyare trying to help me narrow
down, to help me start writingand picking the first couple
songs we're going to release.
And when they said, what kindof genre are we looking to
(04:55):
explore?
There are so many differentinspirations that I had from so
many different people that I wecouldn't really land on one
thing.
Right now it's feeling verydark pop, so more Billie Eilish,
edgy Taylor Swift if she wasangrier than she seems to be, we
just want Taylor to be happybut Lana Del Rey, vibes and so
(05:17):
really music.
To me, my favorite inspirationis comical music.
So Bo Burnham, the LonelyIsland, adam Sandler, things
that are impressive and thelyrics are actually good and
they can sing, but it's alsoreally funny and it's clever and
it makes you think.
So I've been working on tryingto work that slowly into what
(05:40):
I'm doing, where you'll hearthings you're like oh, that's
funny, that I like, that, that'sgood, but I'm also actually
singing and it's not a wholejoke.
You actually enjoy the song andpeople want to listen to it, so
I like in a little bit of thewittiness into something that
actually means something topeople as well all right.
Jay Franze (05:58):
Well, you've
mentioned a couple things in
there I want to make sure wetouch on first off.
You said you're dealing withthe company that's in New
England Is that where you'relocated right now.
MacKenzie Leigh (06:07):
For now, yes.
Jay Franze (06:08):
What part?
MacKenzie Leigh (06:10):
I'm out near
Boston.
I pointed Boston's over here.
Jay Franze (06:14):
What city are you in
?
MacKenzie Leigh (06:16):
I'm in Boston.
Jay Franze (06:16):
Boston proper.
MacKenzie Leigh (06:18):
Yeah.
Jay Franze (06:19):
I ask I'm from
Peabody.
MacKenzie Leigh (06:20):
Oh my God,
great place.
No one can say it correctly, but it's beautiful.
Jay Franze (06:26):
It's named after
George Peabody.
Miss Tiffany, but theypronounce it Peabody.
Tiffany Mason (06:30):
They do when you
think of oh, I'm going to screw
it up.
Jay Franze (06:34):
Yep probably.
Tiffany Mason (06:35):
Demumbrium.
Jay Franze (06:37):
Ah, look at you.
Nashville famous street.
In Nashville it's calledDemumbrium and it's spelled
Demon Bruin.
MacKenzie Leigh (06:44):
Wow, keeping
you on your toes.
Jay Franze (06:48):
I didn't even have
to hit the button that time,
Miss Tiffany.
Tiffany Mason (06:52):
You're so proud
of me, jay, I'm sure we hit that
button at some point tonight, but it's not now.
Jay Franze (07:00):
That was very good,
I like it, thank you.
So Boston proper.
So you had a lot of good placesthere to play some music.
MacKenzie Leigh (07:07):
Oh, a million
percent.
We just went to the.
A bunch of my friends and Iwent to Hosier and saw Gigi
Perez.
She was amazing.
So Fenway, that was a supercool place to go.
There's I mean, there's amillion cool venues out here.
Boston's awesome for sure.
Jay Franze (07:26):
Boston being a
quality music scene overall, but
it's usually either jazz on theBerklee side of things, or it's
rock and metal on theindependent side of things.
And you've chosen somethingdefinitely far off the beaten
path.
So, where do you think would bethe place for you to land to
play the style of music you'redoing?
MacKenzie Leigh (07:41):
So honestly, I
mean, la is everyone's goal, it
seems.
I know Nashville is leaningcountry, but there's some other
cool stuff going on down therefor sure.
Boston I will say I went toBoston Calling.
That was a really coolexperience.
I went last year, so, whenChapel Rowan was there, which
was unbelievable.
One of my favorite bands isYoung the Giant, so I've been I
(08:03):
won't tell you how many times, but I've seen them multiple
times.
I love them.
Ed Sheeran was there last year,so there is some pretty cool
stuff in Boston as well.
I can't not get.
Boston is a very cool city.
Jay Franze (08:13):
Yeah, no, it really
is.
I mean, I didn't miss it asmuch until I left.
MacKenzie Leigh (08:18):
Fair.
Jay Franze (08:18):
I miss the food the
most.
MacKenzie Leigh (08:20):
Valid.
Jay Franze (08:21):
So there's so many
places that I miss, miss tiffany
, it's crazy.
And you know what?
I never ate seafood when Ilived in boston, but now every
time I go back we go and eatinteresting the kilted the
tilted tilt tilted kilt.
Tiffany Mason (08:35):
It's not doing it
for you that's not safe.
That's like a hoover, I know no, I'm saying where you live now.
Jay Franze (08:42):
Oh, Twin Peaks.
Tiffany Mason (08:45):
Twin Peaks.
That's what it was.
Jay Franze (08:46):
Twin Peaks is still
another Hooters knockoff, but
it's much better Not sponsored, but could be.
MacKenzie Leigh (08:53):
I know.
Jay Franze (08:55):
Mackenzie, get on
that first, will you?
Anywho, Rocky Rose, MissTiffany, Rocky Rose out with
Cyndi Lauper right now.
Oh yes, she is from Ohio, wentto Berkeley College of Music,
then went off to London to theconservatory and then moved to
LA.
That's why I'm bringing it up.
Miss McKenzie, she's out in LA.
She plays with probably 10different bands, one of them
(09:17):
being Cyndi Lauper who she's outon the road with right now.
MacKenzie Leigh (09:20):
That's awesome.
Jay Franze (09:26):
But in some of the
bands.
She plays a style of music thatyou do so she might be a good
connection to get you with.
Maybe we can make that happen, rocky, if you're listening.
Tiffany Mason (09:32):
We'll see how the
rest of the show goes, Jay.
Jay Franze (09:36):
I have to be fully
vetted.
Fair enough, she's an Italianfrom Boston, what more does she
need?
Tiffany Mason (09:42):
We'll see.
Jay Franze (09:44):
Fine, you quiz her
then.
Tiffany Mason (09:48):
Where'd you get
that great hair?
Jay Franze (09:50):
Yeah, I see the
important things.
Tiffany Mason (09:55):
I mean after
today, everyone will just be
listening.
Mackenzie's got some great, beautiful Vidal Sassoon picture
perfect commercial hair.
Wow, thank you.
You'll make for good musicvideos when you start releasing
all your songs.
Thank you, I really hope so.
I see we've taken a turn.
But, mackenzie, have you alwaysbeen singing?
(10:18):
Always Were you really little, just all the little home videos.
MacKenzie Leigh (10:24):
My dad always
jokes that I would be Kenzie FM,
so he didn't get to listen tothe radio in the car.
It was just me and that Soundof Music was like my favorite
thing of all time.
I would sing basically the ABCsor something from Sound of
Music when I was little.
But all through middle school, high school was in chorus and
then I went to SpringfieldCollege, which is my favorite
(10:46):
place ever.
I love Springfield College somuch.
Did undergrad and grad.
Went back because I didn't wantto leave.
Did acapella the whole time Iwas there, which is why I love
Andy so much from the office.
It's not as nerdy as peoplemake it seem like it, is it
actually?
Tiffany Mason (11:02):
is very cool and
so impressive.
It takes so much talent.
MacKenzie Leigh (11:05):
Yes, Thank you.
Tiffany Mason (11:06):
Impressive.
And I had like my four bestfriends, like the little group
that we hung out with.
They were all in the acapellagroup, so every time they had a
performance I'd be the only onesitting, you know like with my
little junkie voice, and justlistening to them do all their
acapella.
Just so amazing, it's so funfavorites, yeah, and I think so.
MacKenzie Leigh (11:28):
Going into that
freshman year of college,
learning really how to separateevery instrument, every sound
from a song, and then having tocreate that with your vocals and
not, you can't, there's nopercussion, you're not doing
anything but making.
You know beatboxing and andactually singing, you really
learn to appreciate every singlepiece that goes into a song, to
(11:50):
make it what it is, and thattaught me how to listen to music
differently.
So I'll be in the car with myfriends and I'll turn it all the
way up and be like, no, butlisten to this bass line.
It's amazing, you have to hearthis, and so I really have a
greater appreciation.
I think because of that.
Jay Franze (12:04):
So shout out
Acapella.
It's funny, you mentioned thatschool.
Tiffany Mason (12:09):
I was just going
to say no, did you go to
Springfield?
Jay Franze (12:13):
I did not.
I was talking to somebody todaywho did, though, just this
morning.
MacKenzie Leigh (12:17):
Meant to be.
Jay Franze (12:17):
They were telling me
how great it was.
MacKenzie Leigh (12:19):
It really is
Like it's my favorite place on
earth.
I love it there, there.
Jay Franze (12:23):
I had never heard
anything about it until this
morning oh well, I know I don'thave.
MacKenzie Leigh (12:28):
What do you
love so much?
the scenery or the um musicalityof it it is the first time.
So it is not a musical school,it is an athletic school.
Like you go there, becauseeveryone who goes there even if
you don't play sports there, youplayed sports at some point in
your life.
Everyone plays sports.
It's a very, very athleticschool, but they have everything
(12:51):
.
It's a school of humanics.
So basically, everything you dois to help serve others and to
take care of others.
So all of the majors, everything that they teach, we
would do a humanics and actionday where the whole school would
take classes off and we wouldgo and help the neighbors in the
community and kids in thecommunity and it just.
I've never felt like I belongedsomewhere before or felt
(13:14):
community as I did atSpringfield college and I
continued.
I mean, I was a graduateassistant there.
I continued working there aslong as I could until I was like
all right, maybe I have mystudent loans need me to come
down with all these classes.
Jay Franze (13:30):
Well, being an
Italian from Boston, I'm sure
you're familiar with FaneuilHall, of course, exactly so.
Did you ever go there and watchthe acapella singers?
MacKenzie Leigh (13:38):
Oh yeah, and
that's the thing that people
don't get to.
Pentatonix was one of myfavorite groups all through
college because they made itmore mainstream and so I saw
them, I think in boston or maybein connecticut, but I saw them
live and I just remember being.
They did one song where theythey took all their mics and
they turned their mics off andit like you could hear a pin
(13:58):
drop from the audience and Ijust remember being so moved by
the harmonies and everything andthe fact that they take the
songs that they do and thenbreak them down.
They're incredible.
They're amazing.
Tiffany Mason (14:11):
Well, Drummer Boy
by Pentatonix is my daughter's
favorite Christmas song.
MacKenzie Leigh (14:16):
Yes, amazing,
love it.
She's very good taste.
Jay Franze (14:20):
I like that I
remember going to Faneuil Hall a
lot and there was this onerestaurant that was just outside
of the Strip and we'd sit there.
It was outdoors and the acappella group would come and
sing right there.
Tiffany Mason (14:35):
It was awesome.
Jay Franze (14:36):
It was really
awesome.
Like I said, there's a hugemusic scene in Boston.
It's just not what you wouldexpect, like when we would go to
Nashville.
You're not walking downBroadway listening to music
everywhere, so it's pretty cool.
Now I see you're sitting with agrand piano behind you.
MacKenzie Leigh (14:51):
Yes, I am.
It was my Gigi, so it standsfor glamorous grandma and she is
.
She's so glamorous, but she'sthe only other musician in our
family, so I got the pianobecause I'm the only other one
that plays.
So it was very, very specialwhen I got it.
Jay Franze (15:08):
One hell of a gift.
MacKenzie Leigh (15:09):
It really was,
and I treat her very well.
Jay Franze (15:13):
How long did it take
you to learn how to play it?
MacKenzie Leigh (15:16):
So I, when I
was little, did not have a
choice to learn how to playpiano.
My sister and I both tooklessons and I think I was so
young I didn't appreciate verymuch what my parents were
letting us do in taking lessons.
I did not like it.
So I, as an adult, when I gotback into singing, I wanted to
be able to do the cover videos Istarted getting back into after
(15:38):
college.
One of the hardest things forme transitioning out of
Springfield College was I didn'thave a place to perform anymore
.
I didn't have shows to lookforward to, I didn't have
arrangements to do with myfriends, I wasn't getting
together with people a coupletimes a week to sing.
And I started.
I was really missing a creativeoutlet, like it was depressing,
like I didn't have anything tolook forward to music wise for
(16:01):
years at a time.
And so finally, when I got thepiano, I started reteaching
myself some chords and workingon some songs.
And very embarrassing how muchyou lose and then have to work
very hard to get back.
But I feel I even I'm not goingto lie had to get the little
cheater thing with the notes onit and put them in the keys to
(16:22):
reteach myself.
But I did and it worked andhere we are.
Jay Franze (16:26):
Piano was my
instrument in college and I
can't play a thing right now forthe life of me, so don't feel
bad.
MacKenzie Leigh (16:31):
That does make
me feel much better, thank you.
Jay Franze (16:35):
All right, I know
we're pushing on time here, but
before we let you go, can youtell me your favorite place in
the North End?
MacKenzie Leigh (16:43):
Oh my God.
So I'm going to go back Bay andI have to say the Lenox hotel.
It's my favorite place ever.
They have just changed some ofthe restaurants.
I have not yet been able to goto the new restaurants that have
come in, but I have every yearI go and I get a candle from the
Lenox.
It lasts me less than a year, but I go every year and I do.
(17:04):
I get a candle from the Lenox.
It lasts me less than a year, but I go every year and I do
some sort of dinner or breakfastthere and it's my favorite
place to stay.
When I tell people when they'recoming into the city, you have
to go and give it a chance.
It's so beautiful there.
Jay Franze (17:16):
Mine is nothing like
that.
MacKenzie Leigh (17:18):
Okay, I'm ready
.
Jay Franze (17:20):
I like Pizzeria
Regina.
Oh great choice.
Yeah, that's fair.
I mean, the North End is theItalian section of Boston, miss
Tiffany.
And it has got like a couplebakeries and a couple pizza
places and it's as Italian asyou can get.
And Pizzeria Regina is thislittle corner hole in the wall.
(17:42):
It's tiny as can possibly beand they are as aggressive as
can be.
You go in there, they're notafraid to yell at you.
It's true.
MacKenzie Leigh (17:52):
It's pizza or
pastries.
Jay Franze (17:54):
You've got to wait
in line one or the other.
It's a massive line.
Tiffany Mason (17:59):
But it's worth it
.
Well, mackenzie, I am dying toknow what music should we be
looking for from you.
What songs are out?
What's coming up?
What do you love to perform?
MacKenzie Leigh (18:10):
So right now my
first single, bad Taste on Love
, is out on all streamingplatforms.
I feel really, really excited.
It's been doing really well fora very, very new independent
artist, just happy that anybodyis listening to it.
Um has been very fun and rightnow we're about, I would say, a
week or two away from the secondone, which is going to be the
ghost of us and that'll becoming out in a couple of weeks
(18:33):
very nice.
Jay Franze (18:34):
All right, my friend
.
Well, I cannot thank you enoughfor joining us tonight.
It has been an absolutepleasure and hopefully, when
your album is finished, you willcome on here first to tell us
all about it awesome.
Tiffany Mason (18:44):
Thank you so much
so nice to meet you guys.
Yes, have a great night,mckenzie.
MacKenzie Leigh (18:48):
Nice meeting
you you too, bye, bye all righty
, my friend.
Jay Franze (18:55):
How was that?
Tiffany Mason (18:56):
that's pretty
cool.
I love her energy and I'm likebostonian, I'm big fan that
whole acapella business, big fanthat is impressive.
Jay Franze (19:09):
It is.
It's very cool.
She's very talented.
Her voice is very amazing.
I really do like her voice.
It has a different feel to it,so I'd be like a first singer,
songwriter, to work on the pianoand stuff like that too.
It was really nice.
Tiffany Mason (19:22):
Well, and she
said that she's going dark, dark
, not dark country.
Jay Franze (19:28):
Dark pop is what she
called it.
Dark pop yes, it's got thatsinger-songwriter vibe to it.
Tiffany Mason (19:33):
Yeah, I feel like
her voice has like that kind of
haunting tonality to it orwhatever, I don't know longing
or vulnerability, or I like it.
Jay Franze (19:42):
I agree.
Tiffany Mason (19:44):
Nice, great way
to start the show tonight well,
something I really want to talkabout is kelly clarkson.
I know we talked on july 4th.
She delayed her show well, really canceled it with moments
notice, and so she actually didcome out july 11th and she
apologized and said we can'thelp our bodies get sick.
(20:05):
But yeah, it's actually goingstrong now.
But she almost flashed theaudience because she had a
little wardrobe malfunctionwarning.
But she was saying that it was,you know, giving responsibility
to menopause.
So I didn't realize she wasthat old.
Jay Franze (20:25):
She's not that old.
Tiffany Mason (20:26):
Yeah, I didn't
realize she was that old.
Jay Franze (20:27):
She's not that old.
Yeah, yeah, she's definitelynot that old.
But hey, you never know.
Tiffany Mason (20:31):
It can start as
early as 35, Jay.
Jay Franze (20:34):
Well then she's that
old.
Yeah, I say, my wife's goingthrough it all the time.
Something's got to explain themood swings.
We're all going throughsomething.
Tiffany Mason (20:43):
I'm saying it's
hormones, man, it's hormones.
It's not fair.
Do you know that I learned thatwomen, we take 28 days to go
through a full cycle of hormones.
Men go through their full cycleof hormones in 24 hours.
Jay Franze (20:55):
I thought you were
going to say 28 years.
Tiffany Mason (20:58):
No, so every day
you guys have done a full cycle.
See, we are very efficient.
They're very simple.
Women are very complex.
Jay Franze (21:09):
Definitely complex.
Tiffany Mason (21:12):
Miranda Lambert
is a native to Texas and she
announced plans for a benefitconcert for the Lone Star State
in the recent weeks, which wasvery, very sad.
Jay Franze (21:21):
You know who else is
putting a benefit concert
together and is from texas, someone who should be number one
in the country music scene oh,george straight.
Tiffany Mason (21:32):
Or garth brooks,
george straight yes, from texas.
Jay Franze (21:35):
Uh, garth brooks is
from oklahoma I knew that.
Tiffany Mason (21:38):
Yeah, I was just
testing you.
Jay Franze (21:40):
Yeah, but georgerait
is putting together a big show
and benefit.
Tiffany Mason (21:46):
That's awesome.
That's awesome.
Well, chris Stapleton steps upafter the devastating floods as
well, with a major donation.
He is donating a milliondollars to support the victims
of the devastating floods thathit over 4th of July weekend.
I guess I never put two and twotogether, that it was 4th of
July weekend, but it sure washow terrible.
Jay Franze (22:06):
It is terrible.
Tiffany Mason (22:08):
See, it's too sad
, it's just too sad.
That breaks my heart for thosepeople.
Jay Franze (22:12):
Tell us happy news,
my friend.
Tiffany Mason (22:14):
Okay, happy news.
So Chris Rock he makes his banddo something after every single
concert.
Jay Franze (22:19):
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Want to start again.
I have a feeling that's notChris Rock.
Tiffany Mason (22:27):
Oh, Kid Rock
Slight difference.
Jay Franze (22:29):
Not even close.
Tiffany Mason (22:31):
Yes, Kid Rock
Apologize.
Many apologies to the crewmembers.
Jay Franze (22:34):
You're not going to
slap Kid Rock is all I'm saying.
Tiffany Mason (22:37):
No, no, okay, kid
Rock and his band.
When they're finished playingtheir concerts, he requires
everybody to go backstage, andthen they watch their
performance.
They watch the footage and thenthey try to decide what they
could have done better.
It makes me think of like a yes, that's exactly what I was
going to say.
(22:57):
Nice Yep.
Jay Franze (22:58):
We're like this
we're right there with each
other.
Tiffany Mason (23:01):
I mean on the
same wavelength I think that's
very cool.
Jay Franze (23:06):
We should do that.
We should get together afterthe show and we should sit down
and we should listen or watch ordo whatever we're going to do.
Tiffany Mason (23:12):
If it didn't end
at midnight, we could.
That's what we're going to dofrom now on Yep.
Okay, we'll take an hour breakin between.
We'll come back at two in themorning.
Got it.
Jay Franze (23:21):
okay, let's make
that I'm in let's make this
better.
Tony Scott (23:24):
Let's get on that
for us, buddy he can be on and
take notes.
Tiffany Mason (23:32):
Well, this is
something we don't hear very
often from the celebrities, butjohn party admits that he has
dad guilt when he goes out ontour.
John party and his wife summerhave two young kids, bruceley
fawn, who is two, sienna Grace, who is 11 months, and they're at
the stage where watching Daddyleave is tough, and I remember
those days we have to like sneakout or tell him like look out
(23:57):
the window, and then you reallygo the other way Nice.
Jay Franze (24:01):
Trick the kids.
Why not just take them with him?
Tiffany Mason (24:05):
Yeah, I wondered
about that too, but maybe that's
just a lifestyle that him andhis wife, summer, don't want to
provide.
Jay Franze (24:10):
I'm sure, but still
Talk about names too.
Huh Presley Fawn.
Tiffany Mason (24:14):
I know, I wonder
where Fawn comes.
And Sienna Grace?
Jay Franze (24:17):
Yeah, sienna Grace,
nice names, I like them, but the
kids are still young.
Tiffany Mason (24:24):
They are really
young.
They won't remember.
Go on the road.
Jay Franze (24:28):
Bring them with.
Imagine if they were older andyou get to go on the road, do
homeschooling and get to tourthe world.
Oh, that would be so awesome.
Tiffany Mason (24:37):
Jay, my dad was a
milkman, okay, and he delivered
milk all over the state of Iowa.
Jay Franze (24:43):
And did he take you
with him?
Tiffany Mason (24:45):
He did.
He would let us come with him.
I was joking, but that'sawesome.
We'd leave at like threeo'clock in the morning or
something.
We had to wear like really warmclothes because we had to go
into these huge coolers and justget crates and crates of milk
and then my dad would load themall onto the truck and I
remember thinking it was thecoolest thing as he would load
his semi and then we would go tolike schools before they had
(25:07):
been open or grocery store ornot before they'd been open, but
before you know school hours, and the same thing with these
restaurants or gas stations andI just thought it was the
coolest thing.
You know he'd wear these gloves.
I can see it just clear as dayin my mind, this weird cane
thing that he had to pull thecrates forward and stuff loved
(25:28):
it.
My favorite was went with dad.
We had to wake up super earlyand then you know they well, I
guess they still happen, but Inever buy them.
But the little rows of donuts, you know you get like four or
five little donuts, littlepowdered donuts and I remember I
still eat them to this day.
Chocolate, though, that's okayokay, okay, well, hey, I think
either are perfect choice.
But I remember my dad openingthe door for us to go load one
(25:49):
of the accounts and just donuts, just falling out the door
because I'd fall asleep while wewere driving to wherever the
next place was.
Jay Franze (25:58):
But yes, your dad
has to be one of the last
milkmen ever.
Tiffany Mason (26:03):
Probably.
It was really weird, though.
So we live in Florida now andI'm from Iowa and the company
that he worked for was PrairieFarms, and it got bought out and
then it was Robert's and Iactually took a picture.
I forgot to share it with him,but I pick up bread for my
senior citizen volunteer gigthat I do on Wednesday mornings,
and there were milk cratesthere.
(26:24):
It said Prairie Farms, robertsDairy, and I thought no way, how
are these milk crates down here?
This is the craziest thing.
So I took a picture.
I meant to send it to my dadright away, but obviously I
dropped the ball on that.
Jay Franze (26:36):
If you see any milk
crates around, grab me a few I
could use about four of them.
Tiffany Mason (26:41):
They're the best.
Jay Franze (26:47):
Awesome.
What else of them?
They're the best awesome.
What else we got in the news?
Well, darius rucker.
He had a concert.
Tiffany Mason (26:51):
Oh, wait, wait,
wait, wait.
Did your dad wear the hat?
No, sir, he had a navy blueuniform back to your darius
rucker, darius rucker.
Uh, he actually is refunding abunch of money in atlantic city,
new jersey.
On saturday night, the 12th, hestarted a couple songs in and
his voice started giving out andhe actually refunded the crowd
their money.
And then he made a publicapology on social media.
Jay Franze (27:14):
I mean, he did the
right thing.
Probably didn't have to do that.
Tiffany Mason (27:18):
I heard somebody
recently I can't remember who it
is they canceled their show andthey did not refund one ticket
and they did not sing one song.
Jay Franze (27:25):
I'm sure he didn't
have to apologize or do all that
, but it seems like it's theright thing to do, so good for
him.
Tiffany Mason (27:33):
He seems like a
stand-up guy and I'm not shocked
by that.
That seems like who he is.
Jay Franze (27:37):
I'm with you, my
friend.
Good for you, Darius.
Tiffany Mason (27:41):
Way to go, darius
.
Okay, ashley Cook.
Now I had a moment trying toremember who this was, but if
you guys know the song, yourPlace, that's what she sings and
it was one of the number onesongs last summer number one hit
and she actually has had a verysuccessful year of her career.
So far, the singer has beenbattling significant health
(28:04):
challenges and family losses.
Both of her grandmothers passedaway within the last year.
Her father battled his fifthreoccurrence of cancer.
About four months ago.
Her mom suffered a near-fetalheart attack and had a stent
placed in one of her arteries.
Cook has been facing a healthchallenge of her own too.
In social media last week, sherevealed that she recently has
(28:27):
been diagnosed with a heartcondition too.
Like, yeah, she's got a heartcondition.
You lose that many people inthat short amount of time.
Like, how do you not have abroken heart?
Jay Franze (28:38):
That's a broken
heart, but I wonder what the
heart condition is.
It's rough nonetheless.
I mean, it's horrible.
Yeah, heart disease runs in myfamily, so that's something that
I'm always constantly lookingout for.
Tiffany Mason (28:51):
I heard and you
all can WebMD it but if you have
a wrinkle in your earlobe it'ssupposed to signify heart
disease.
Jay Franze (29:02):
Huh, I don't know, I
don't know either.
Tiffany Mason (29:04):
All facts, all
facts.
Jay Franze (29:06):
All facts on the
J-Frame.
Is that what that is?
Seems a little out there.
I don't think so.
Tiffany Mason (29:11):
I remember
reading the article and they
explained why that happens.
That's a telltale sign.
You know what it might havebeen Comorbidities Isn't that
what they call it, when you haveprecursors that would indicate
heart disease and you have awidow maker.
That's what they call it awidow maker, because they're
heart attacks that come out ofnowhere, like you just weren't.
(29:31):
There was no indication thatthis person would have one, and
they said from that article lookfor a crease in the earlobe.
So I don't know.
All right Crease in the earlobesFact check me people, let us
know, but more about.
Jay Franze (29:44):
Africa.
Somebody fact check that?
Tiffany Mason (29:46):
Yeah, somebody
fact check that.
Jay Franze (29:48):
George get on that.
Tiffany Mason (29:51):
Okay.
Well, she also has a new songout called the Hell you Are the
hell you are.
So saying that it brings fireand tempo here in this next
chapter.
Just saying that it's like afollow-up song from her one from
last summer.
So I'll have to give it alisten and see and let you know.
Jay Franze (30:15):
A crease in the
earlobe, often called Frank's
sign, can be a potentialindicator for coronary artery
disease.
Tiffany Mason (30:24):
Bam.
Jay Franze (30:27):
I don't have a
crease in the arm, you can call
me Tiffany MD.
Tiffany Mason (30:29):
Thank you very
much, mason MD.
Jay Franze (30:31):
I don't think so.
I told my wife I was going togo get my doctorate.
She says I don't think so.
I said come on, I want you tocall me Dr J.
She was not happy, so that'sthe reason why I didn't get my
doctorate.
Tiffany Mason (30:47):
My wife won't
call me Dr J.
Sounds like maybe you didn'twant it.
No, no.
Jay Franze (30:50):
I wanted it, I would
have done it, I would have put
in all the years it takes to doit, but she said she wasn't
going to do it.
Tiffany Mason (30:56):
Do you like
school?
Do you like learning?
Jay Franze (30:58):
I like learning.
I don't know if I like schoolAlthough you would think I do
because I've been to a lot ofthem but I think about this a
lot.
I think I like self-educationbetter.
I want to learn what I want toknow.
Tiffany Mason (31:12):
I don't want to
learn the fluff.
Jay Franze (31:14):
So if you can go to
a specialized school and learn
just the stuff you want to know, like when I taught at the audio
engineering school, we taughtaudio engineering.
We didn't teach English orscience or that type of stuff.
Tiffany Mason (31:26):
So that was cool,
but no, I I like self-learning
kind of like trade schools, almost right, like where you
just learn the skill you want.
Yeah, yeah, exactly yeah, yeah, because I was thinking the
other day like learning man.
I don't know what that does inmy brain, but it fires me up, I
love learning.
Jay Franze (31:45):
I was going to say
what you don't like it.
Tiffany Mason (31:47):
I love it.
You don't get along with it, Ilove it.
It gives me so much energy, like just the endorphins.
Dopamine, serotonin must justparty in there.
Jay Franze (31:56):
We know I don't like
to read, but I do listen to a
lot of books and stuff.
I enjoy taking in theinformation.
Books and stuff I enjoy takingin the information.
I even take a lot of onlinecourses from different colleges
or different institutions aroundthe world because I want to
know information about a certainsubject.
I don't need to go through anentire program at this point in
my life.
Tiffany Mason (32:16):
Right, right
right.
Jay Franze (32:18):
Unless my wife wants
to call me doctor.
If she wants to call me Dr J,I'll make it happen.
Tiffany Mason (32:22):
Come on, Jennifer
.
Jay Franze (32:25):
Will you call me Dr
J?
I'll make it happen.
Come on, Jennifer.
Will you call me Dr J?
That ship is sailed.
Tiffany Mason (32:28):
I would call you
Dr J for sure.
I'd be honored to know a doctor.
Jay Franze (32:34):
Moving on Question
of the day what is?
The greatest vocalcollaboration of all time.
What is the greatest vocalcollaboration of all time?
Because, well, we like to makeit a competition, not just who
are some good ones, what's thebest ones?
Of all time.
If you want to go ahead andthrow your responses in the
comment section, please go ahead.
(32:56):
All right, you want to give meone?
You want to hold your thoughtsuntil a little later in time?
Tiffany Mason (33:04):
I will give you
one.
There is a new song called HardFought Hallelujah and it is
with Jelly Roll and Brandon Lake, and I love the grit of it, but
I feel like vocal performancesare not typically about grit.
That's a pretty good one.
It's got a lot of emotion in it, which I really like, I think
that's what grit to me is isemotion.
(33:25):
Grit to me is that growly sound.
Jay Franze (33:29):
Yeah, but that comes
from emotion.
Tiffany Mason (33:32):
Okay, we can
agree to disagree.
Jay Franze (33:35):
You don't think
that's emotional when somebody
gets all gritty?
Tiffany Mason (33:41):
No, I think it's
like they're digging deep, but I
don't think it's like they'regetting growly to be heartbroken
or they're getting growly toshow a lot of love.
It's definitely like anemotional thing.
I don't feel like in my head.
The definitions aren't the same.
Jay Franze (34:00):
Fine, be that way,
Alice.
She says Kenny Rogers and DollyParton.
Tiffany Mason (34:07):
Yes, I knew that
one was going to come up.
Jay Franze (34:09):
Timeless chemistry
and unforgettable melodies.
Tiffany Mason (34:15):
I threw one out.
Did you want to throw one out,Jay?
Jay Franze (34:18):
No, I'm going to
hold off till later.
Tiffany Mason (34:21):
Wow, you have
such control, such self-control.
Jay Franze (34:26):
I got to think of
something that's not so gritty
now, or maybe I'm going to goextreme grit, I don't know.
Tiffany Mason (34:35):
Well, I am
waiting on pins and needles for
the answer, ben.
Jay Franze (34:40):
Ben says, brad
Paisley and Alison Krauss.
Tiffany Mason (34:44):
Whiskey.
Jay Franze (34:45):
Lullaby.
Tiffany Mason (34:47):
Nice, that's a
good one.
Mm-hmm.
Jay Franze (34:51):
Oh, carla, carla
says George Jones and Tammy
Wynette.
Tiffany Mason (34:56):
Oh, it would be
nice if they said the song.
Do they say the song for thatone?
Jay Franze (35:01):
They said Golden
Ring.
Tiffany Mason (35:03):
Oh.
Jay Franze (35:05):
David.
David says Reba McEntire andLinda Davis.
And the song is David, pleasetell us the song.
Tiffany Mason (35:24):
I had Reba
McEntintyre and brooks and dunn.
If you see him, if you see her,I like that, but I don't know
if it's best vocal.
Jay Franze (35:29):
It's good, it's reba
brooks and dunn but eva says
johnny cash and june carter.
Tiffany Mason (35:34):
Eva, says Johnny
Cash and June Carter.
Jay Franze (35:37):
Yep, oh wait, wait.
David says does he love you?
Back to Reba and Linda Davis.
Tiffany Mason (35:43):
Does he love you
like he loves me?
Does he think of you when he'sholding me?
Jay Franze (35:53):
All right, moving on
.
Frank says Kenny Chesney andGrace Potter.
Tiffany Mason (35:59):
I don't know
Grace Potter who said the song.
Jay Franze (36:04):
Frank sorry let us
know, frank, if anybody else, if
you're putting your comments in, please include a song title.
Apparently it's not good enoughjust to answer our questions.
Answer what we think we'regoing to want to.
Grace says Tim McGraw and FaithHill I had a few people tell me
(36:27):
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
Tiffany Mason (36:30):
But is it best
vocals?
Jay Franze (36:34):
Yeah, if we're going
to turn this into a competition
.
No, not the best of all time.
It's going to be hard to beatKenny and Dolly.
Tiffany Mason (36:42):
Yeah, I think
Johnny and June too.
Jay Franze (36:46):
Yeah, I still go
with Kenny and Dolly.
Tiffany Mason (36:51):
You know, dolly
kind of annoys me a little bit.
Wow, well, you just said lastweek should have been the most
important person in countrymusic annoys me a little bit.
Jay Franze (36:58):
Wow, well, you just
said, last week should have been
the most important person incountry music.
Tiffany Mason (37:01):
Yes, most
influential, absolutely.
But I can still say, like herlittle you know, like when she
sucks in after everything shesays, I don't know.
Jay Franze (37:11):
She announced today
that she is not going to be
participating in songwriting fora while, Since her husband has
passed away.
She's taking some time off.
Tiffany Mason (37:22):
Good for her.
Jay Franze (37:24):
There you go.
Tiffany Mason (37:24):
Good for her.
That's so sad.
Jay Franze (37:27):
All right, hector.
Hector, you're the first Hectorwe have had.
Thank you, hector, for joiningus.
Brad Paisley and Keith Urban.
And he says and I will put asong in here, and it is Start a
Band.
Oh.
You want to sing that for us?
Do you know that?
Tiffany Mason (37:45):
one.
It's not coming to mind, but Idefinitely know it.
I know I can't think of how itgoes.
Jay Franze (37:50):
Ivy oh, here's a
good one.
Ivy says Brad Paisley andCarrie Underwood Bradad
paisley's been on this threetimes already he collaborated a
lot.
Tiffany Mason (38:03):
Is there gonna be
more?
Jay Franze (38:04):
to that sentence I
don't understand jake.
Jake says shania twain andbrian white don't know if it
would beat Kenny and Dolly, butyou know, hey, not much is going
to in my opinion.
Ooh, kate is thinking outsidethe box and she does include a
song title.
Tiffany Mason (38:25):
Okay, what does
Kate say?
Jay Franze (38:27):
Kate says, bon Jovi
and Jennifer Nettles.
Tiffany Mason (38:33):
Oh yes.
Jay Franze (38:34):
Who says you can't
go home?
Tiffany Mason (38:37):
Good one.
Jay Franze (38:38):
That is a good one.
I used to really like Bon Jovi, until he jumped the shark.
Tiffany Mason (38:44):
What does jump
the shark mean?
You say it a lot.
I have the general idea, butwhere does it come from?
Jay Franze (38:50):
It's a term that
comes from happy days,
television show happy days.
Tiffany Mason (38:56):
Monday, tuesday
happy days.
Monday Tuesday Happy Days.
Wednesday, thursday Happy Days.
Jay Franze (39:01):
Happy Days was an
extremely popular show and it
was on the air for years andthen, after a while, it started
to veer off and there was anepisode where Fonzie, instead of
riding his motorcycle, he waswater skiing and literally
jumped a shark.
(39:22):
So the term jumped the shark iswhen Happy Days fell out of
popularity, was when Fonziejumped the shark.
Tiffany Mason (39:32):
There you go.
Jay Franze (39:33):
We teach you an
awful lot of things on this show
.
Tiffany Mason (39:35):
You just never
know, you're going to walk away
with a plethora of information.
I think I'll awful lot ofthings on this show.
You just never know, you'regoing to walk away with a
plethora of information.
Jay Franze (39:39):
I think I'll use
that one in trivia tomorrow
night.
So yes, bon Jovi, I feel likeBon Jovi jumped the shark when
he went to Nashville and hookedup with Nashville songwriters to
write their most commercialhits, but I preferred when they
were writing songs on their own, like the song Runaway and stuff
.
Mm-hmm.
(40:01):
It's just my opinion.
Hate mail goes to Tiffany atjfranzycom.
Mia says I agree, tim McGrawand Faith Hill Hmm, all right.
Leo says Loretta and Conway.
Tiffany Mason (40:16):
Okay.
Jay Franze (40:18):
Noah, kenny, chesney
and Pink.
Tiffany Mason (40:23):
Ooh, yes.
Jay Franze (40:26):
I find that one hard
.
I don't think that's a match.
Tiffany Mason (40:30):
The song is
really good.
I can't think of what it isright now, but I do know that I
love it.
Jay Franze (40:33):
Setting the world on
fire.
Tiffany Mason (40:35):
Oh God, yes, oh
my God, I had that song on
repeat in my car for so long.
Yes, okay, mm-hmm.
Jay Franze (40:45):
Those voices just
don't seem like they match to me
.
Tiffany Mason (40:48):
And that song
they definitely do.
Jay Franze (40:50):
Olivia, shania Twain
and Billy Currington.
Tiffany Mason (40:55):
Okay, that
probably is pretty good.
Jay Franze (40:58):
Rosa, first Rosa on
the show.
Thank you, rosa, hank Williamsand Waylon Jennings.
Waylon.
Jennings.
Tiffany Mason (41:07):
All right, what
happened?
Do we say it slow?
Jay Franze (41:09):
so we get it right.
Hank Williams and WaylonJennings.
There's got to be a button overhere somewhere.
Tiffany Mason (41:19):
Jay, you're fired
.
Jay Franze (41:20):
There you go.
I found it on the first try.
I moved all the buttons around,so I have no idea where they
are.
Tiffany Mason (41:26):
Oh my gosh, I'm
so impressed.
Jay Franze (41:28):
I tried to make it
easier on myself.
Nope, Nope did not work.
Paul says Thomas Rhett and JohnParty.
Tiffany Mason (41:38):
And the song is
Paul.
MacKenzie Leigh (41:41):
Oh man.
Jay Franze (41:43):
Paul, help us out
here, brother.
Follow Tiffany's updated rulesWhile we wait.
Quinn says Clint Black and LisaHartman Black yeah, I like the
two of them.
I don't know if they're thebest ever.
Sam says Love Song by GeorgeStrait and Miranda Lambert, but
(42:05):
it has to be live, he said.
Tiffany Mason (42:07):
Wow, those are
some stipulations.
Jay Franze (42:10):
He says they are two
Texas Titans and they sing in
harmony.
Tiffany Mason (42:14):
Apparently so,
because they're both going to
raise money for the floodvictims.
Jay Franze (42:17):
I think Sam is going
for his doctorate and wants to
make sure he gets a good gradeon this paper.
Nice Good for you, Sam.
Here's one I like.
Victor puts up a candidate forthe running here.
Tiffany Mason (42:33):
Okay.
Jay Franze (42:34):
Drowns the Whiskey.
Jason Aldean and MirandaLambert, those two voices go
together To me they go togetherSmooth as Tennessee whiskey.
Tiffany Mason (42:48):
No, it is, they
are.
I know they all sing that song.
Jay Franze (42:55):
Oh, okay.
Tiffany Mason (42:56):
Yeah, I know, I
know it all sing that song, oh,
okay, yeah, I know.
Jay Franze (42:59):
I know it's Chris
Stapleton.
Okay, wendy says yes.
Tim McGraw, faith Hill.
Tiffany Mason (43:04):
A lot of votes
for that.
Jay Franze (43:06):
Xavier.
Xavier says how often he couldsay that name.
Tiffany Mason (43:12):
Xavier, not very
often.
Jay Franze (43:13):
St Xavier is a
college here in town.
Tiffany Mason (43:16):
So why are you
thinking it's so rare?
Jay Franze (43:19):
How many Xaviers do
you know?
Tiffany Mason (43:22):
None.
Jay Franze (43:23):
I don't know a
single Xavier.
I don't know any Xaviers.
Tiffany Mason (43:28):
Oh, yes, but
there is.
On one of my reality shows thatI watch on TV, the little kid's
name is oh, I think it'sactually Isaiah, and they call
him Zay.
Jay Franze (43:37):
So it means nothing
to the story.
Tiffany Mason (43:41):
No, no, it was on
the way to mean something.
Jay Franze (43:44):
Until we thought it

Jay Franze (44:16):
I'm saying I don't
know if I like it or I don't
like it.
I think I like it.
I like the fact that people Ithink I like it.
Yeah, I like it.
Tiffany Mason (44:22):
It's like when
all the Swifties are saying
Taylor's version, yeah.

Xavier and it shows that theyactually really know the song.
Jay Franze (44:30):
All right, hey, I'm
going to say editing.
Tiffany Mason (44:36):

cherry picking.
Jay Franze (44:38):
Let's do that.
I like that even better.
I don't like um.
What did we say beforeCensoring?
Yeah, censoring isn't the rightterm.
Tiffany Mason (44:44):
It's not the
right term.

Well, no, I don't know if Ilike this one.
Tiffany Mason (45:54):
Oh wow, jumped in
headfirst and then you just
backed out as fast as you could.
Jay Franze (45:59):
Well, I saw Taylor
Swift.
I'm like, ooh, I like TaylorSwift.
But Fiona says Little Big Townand Taylor Swift.
I mean that's great and all but.
Tiffany Mason (46:12):
That's like a
quartet.
Then Nice Gabe says we did saya collaboration, so that is a
collaboration.
Jay Franze (46:20):
We didn't say duo,
but yeah, that makes sense
Cracked, correct yeah.
Gabe says, jordan Davis andLuke Bryan.

Tara says Darius
Rucker and Luke Bryan.
I like those two.
Will says Brooks and Dunn.
Tiffany Mason (47:37):
That's not a
collaboration.
Though that's not acollaboration though it's their

Tiffany Mason (47:51):
Yes, old Town
Road.
Jay Franze (47:54):

pronounce that name, maybe YusufY-U-S-U-F.
Tiffany Mason (48:04):
Yeah, I think
it's like Joseph in another
language.
Is it but Yusuf.
Jay Franze (48:08):
Yusuf, I think
that's right.
Okay good.
Tiffany Mason (48:10):
When I watch 90
Day Fiancé, I'm pretty sure
people are called Yusuf in there.
Jay Franze (48:13):
Okay, well, Yusuf
says Garth Brooks and Tricia
Yearwood.
Oh.
All right, let's start windingthis one down.
Tiffany Mason (48:23):
Yes, I thought we
already were winding it down.
Jay Franze (48:26):
We were, but I'm
going to like bring it to a halt
.
Tiffany Mason (48:29):
Whoa.
The cherry bucket is full.
Jay Franze (48:34):
Zelda.
Tiffany Mason (48:36):
These names

said.
Jay Franze (48:57):
Agreed.
That's not what you said.
Tiffany Mason (49:01):
I said Brooks and
Dunn, but clearly it was Ronnie
Dunn.
Jay Franze (49:03):
Alright, jason,
jason Sircone.
I'll use his last name becausehe's been a guest before, but he
says if it's the bestcollaboration, it would have to
be me and you.
Okay, I'll take that.
Tiffany Mason (49:15):
Why not?
I feel like you and I are thebest collab Jay.
Jay Franze (49:19):
That's what I'm
saying.
Jason disagrees with you,though.
All right starting thecountdown.
Here's what Number 20?
.
Tiffany Mason (49:28):
We're starting
with number 20.
It's Jelly Roll with Heart ofStone.
Jay Franze (49:34):
I don't know if
number 20 deserves a drum roll.
Tiffany Mason (49:37):
No, but it was
Jelly Roll, so it still feels
appropriate.
Jay Franze (49:41):
Good for you, Jelly
Roll.
That man's name is everywhereright now.
Tiffany Mason (49:46):
Everywhere he's
doing a great job.
He's got a great PR firm.
I mean the name is out there.

I don't remember loving it, butI know it is popular right now.
Have you heard it?
I have not, I'm sure I have Ijust, I just remembered the DJs
making a big deal out of heavensto Betsy and they told like
where it came from and I didn'tlike the story.
(50:15):
So now I don't like the songbecause they ruined it by
telling the story.
So all right, number 18,.
We have Jordan Davis with barnone.
There you go, and number 17.
Jay Franze (50:26):
I'm so excited.
Sorry, jordan, bye, bar none.

I don't know the song.
I don't have anything to sayabout it.
Do you know the song?
Jay Franze (50:38):
okay, I've heard the
song, yes, but I just wonder
why you just blew right by it.
Tiffany Mason (50:42):
I was like wow
because I'm too excited about 17
okay, go to 17 I told you aboutthe song bottle rockets yes,
you did I really wanted to usethem as one of the
collaborations because I justthink it's so why didn't you?
Jay Franze (50:55):
that was a good clap
, it't have won but it was still
really good.
Tiffany Mason (50:59):
Yeah, I don't
know, but anyways.
So I was just excited to get to17.
Jay Franze (51:03):
Scotty McCreary.
Tiffany Mason (51:05):
Scotty McCreary
and Hootie and the Blowfish.
Jay Franze (51:07):
Underrated vocalist
for sure.
Tiffany Mason (51:09):
Underrated.
I don't think people Rightthere with Daughtry.
Jay Franze (51:13):
His name doesn't
Well Daughtry, his name doesn't
well Daughtry's amazing.
But Scotty's got a ScottyMcCurry's good, he's got an
amazing country voice for sure.
Tiffany Mason (51:21):
He sure does, and
nice and deep.
Jay Franze (51:23):
Yeah, I mean he's
got that.
You know, george Straitfieldtone to me.
Tiffany Mason (51:27):
Mm-hmm.
Oh, yes, 100%.
Yeah, I never made thatcorrelation, but yeah.
Jay Franze (51:31):
Absolutely.
Tiffany Mason (51:33):
Okay, you may be
excited about 16.
It's Mr Eric Church with Handsof Time, I do like Eric Church.
I know.
Jay Franze (51:41):
I think part of that
is because he was just such a
nice guy.
Yeah, I mean such a nice guy.
But I like that alt countrystyle, that bucking the system.
Tiffany Mason (51:52):
I like that
Sticking it to the man.
Jay Franze (51:55):
I like the buckers.
Tiffany Mason (51:57):
Who did we report
that was saying F you to the
machine.
Jay Franze (52:00):
Yes, yes, I don't
remember, but yes.
Tiffany Mason (52:04):
All right, number
15, john Party, friday Night
Heartbreaker.
Jay Franze (52:08):
All right.
Tiffany Mason (52:09):
I like John Party
.
I've seen him in person acouple times.
Russell Dickerson Happen to Me.
Jay Franze (52:14):
Okay.
Tiffany Mason (52:15):
I love when a
song has just a little segment
like that.
I love it when it's just alittle section and your mind is
left to the imagination untilyou hear the song like what's it
about?
Anyways, I like that song, though Happens to Me.
And number 13, shaboozy withGood News.
Jay Franze (52:32):
Shaboozy's, another
one that's been on the charts
forever, yeah.
I mean good for you.
MacKenzie Leigh (52:34):
Shibuzy is
another one that's been on the
charts forever.
Tiffany Mason (52:37):
Yeah, yeah.
Jay Franze (52:37):
Good for you.
Tiffany Mason (52:39):
I'm kind of
surprised this song isn't higher
.
Jay Franze (52:43):
It's hard to top
that song, bar song.
Tiffany Mason (52:46):
It's true.
It's true it's a good song.
It's a good song, but I justfeel like everybody can relate
to this.
You know where he starts outsaying it's been a really tough
year.
He's like all I need is somereally good news.
There's a little good news.
I always say, really, it's alittle good news.
All I all I really need is alittle good news.
Okay, bailey zimmerman atnumber 12 backup plan.
(53:07):
I like that song I wish we hadgone to bailey zimmerman last
summer in jack's beach.
He was here performing freeconcert.
Jay Franze (53:15):
What's the lyric to
that?
The only backup plan you needis to get back up.
Tiffany Mason (53:21):
Oh man, I love
when the words are like that.
You know that Josh Ross songsingle.
Again it says when you're allover him, I hope you're all over
me.
I love when the words are likedual meaning.
You know throughout the lyrics.
That's so cool.
Jay Franze (53:36):
That's cool.
I made a connection when theysaid backup plan, the only one
you need is just get back up.
Tiffany Mason (53:41):
Get back up.
Yeah, that's awesome Kind ofthe way I live life.
Okay, I'm going to check it out.
Yeah, me too.
Jay Franze (53:47):
Who needs a backup
plan?
Tiffany Mason (53:49):
Just got to get
back up.
That's the plan you need.
All right, mr Thomas Rhett.
In spot number 11, after All,the Bars Are Closed.
I do not believe I've heardthis song.
Jay Franze (54:00):
I have not, but I
went to a wedding with him.
Tiffany Mason (54:02):
Fun fact, I've
got nothing else to that story.
Jay Franze (54:05):
I mean he was a nice
guy, but I've got literally
nothing else to that story, Justthat I went to a wedding with
him.
Tiffany Mason (54:09):
I appreciate you
sharing that.
Jay Franze (54:13):
Okay, I could tell
you more about the venue.
The venue was beautiful.
It was in the hills ofTennessee, ooh.
Tiffany Mason (54:21):
I bet it was.
It was on a little lake and thevenue itself was just beautiful
.
Jay Franze (54:27):
Okay, it had a barn
and then it had an outdoor area
that was very wooden.
So the ceremony took placeunder the canopy outside nice,
and then the reception wasinside in the barn.
Tiffany Mason (54:39):
It's beautiful
but he was there, was there,
yeah, perfect I don't rememberanything.
This next one in number 10 hascaptured my heart and I want so
badly to hate it, but Iabsolutely love it.
And I don't know why I want tohate it, but I absolutely love
it.
And I don't know why I want tohate it, but I do love it.
It's Kane Brown backseat driver.
Jay Franze (55:00):
Are you a backseat
driver?
Tiffany Mason (55:03):
I definitely used
to be.
My husband would say I still amLord.
If he only knew I have tried toteach myself so hard to shut my
mouth and focus on anything buthis driving, focus on a song,
put some lip gloss on, look atthe trees, the other cars, talk
to somebody in the car, anythingbut that, because he does get
(55:25):
offended a lot.
Sometimes I just ask questionslike why did you turn here?
Because I'm just like socurious, why did you turn there
and not like where I normallyturn.
Maybe there's something heknows that I don't know.
But he's always like, oh mygosh, why can't I just turn here
?
I'm like wait, you can.
I'm just, I just didn't know.
If you know something I don'tknow my wife doesn't want to
learn.
Jay Franze (55:43):
She says you know
why'd you turn here?
Because she's saying you didn'tturn where I wanted you to do
you ever see the tiktok, wherethe guy's driving and the
woman's yelling and likefreaking out, she's throwing her
hands up like they're about toget in an accident and he slams
on the brakes and then thecamera pans and it shows a car
stopped at a stop sign, like 20feet ahead.
No, I mean, that's my wife forsure.
Tiffany Mason (56:07):
Anyway, sorry, no
, my husband thinks that I am,
but I'm not.
Actually it's not what hethinks I'm saying.
So, whatever, it's fine, but itwas funny because I had the
tune stuck in my head Daddy, canyou please turn up the radio?
And so I had already gotten inbed, but Hannah was up with a
friend and so I purposely gotout of bed to tell Hannah this.
(56:27):
But I was thinking, hannah, canyou please turn down the
thermostat, because we drop ourthermostat every night and it's
not programmed.
And I know you can program itand we haven't programmed it.
But anyways, but that was justkind of funny.
So now, every time I hear thatsong, I think of that, but I
also think of, like you know,he's pointing out how she just
sees the world so differentlythan him and how she asks one
(56:49):
question and then anotherquestion.
Another question comes, but Idon't like that.
He says mickey d because itmakes me think of the other song
said I've been watching you, dad, ain't that cool.
I'm your buckaroo, I want to belike you.
And he's talking about how hisfour-year-old said a four-letter
word and his Mickey D drinkgoes flying in his lap right and
(57:09):
I'm like, oh, you both usedMickey D Use a different
restaurant, just for sake ofdifference.
Jay Franze (57:15):
HVAC instructions to
Tiffany at jfranzycom.
Tiffany Mason (57:20):
No, Hannah's got
it.
Hannah, can you please turndown the thermostat.
Sad, Okay, number nine LukeBryan Country song came on.
Jay Franze (57:33):
I've said it before
I like Luke Bryan.
Tiffany Mason (57:36):
I've said it
before I like Luke Bryant too.
Jay Franze (57:39):
You drive me insane.
Tiffany Mason (57:42):
I did that just
for you.
I know you did Okay.
Number eight Numero ocho TylerHopper.
Jay Franze (57:48):

Tiffany Mason (57:50):
What's that?
Jay Franze (57:51):
What number is that?
Tiffany Mason (57:52):
Numero ocho Eight
for my English speaking
listeners.
Jay Franze (57:56):
I'm sorry, no Crew

What number is that?
It's my favorite number.
Oh sorry, crew members whatnumber is that?
Tiffany Mason (58:02):
It's my favorite
number.
Oh sorry, Jay, Sorry.
Okay, Jay's favorite numbereight Tyler Hubbard with the
song Park.
Jay Franze (58:11):
All right.
Tiffany Mason (58:12):
Okay, number
seven Nate Smith, fix what you
Didn't Break.
There used to be a guy in mynetworking group and he was a
little bit older, so he wastrying to find his shtick, you
know, in the networking realmand he would say I will fix what
your nephew broke.
And it makes me think of, likeyou know, dudes trying to fix
(58:34):
things and then they have tohire the handyman to come fix
what they're asking for.
Jay Franze (58:37):
You take it apart,
can't get it back together.
That's me.
If handyman to come fix otherpeople's parts, I can't get it
back together.
That's me.
If I take something apart, it'snot going back together.
I've got the leftover piecesand I'll save them forever.
But I'll have the leftoverpieces.
That's a good song too, and Ilike the fact there's something
about saying you fixed what youdidn't break, so I don't know.
I like that, it's a goodmessage.
Tiffany Mason (58:57):
I think it's a
Brett Young song.
Stop telling the truth aboutyou If you stop telling lies
about me.
Jay Franze (59:03):
Nice, yes, something
to that effect.
Tiffany Mason (59:08):
Number six, mr
Riley Green, worst Way.
Number five, josh Ross.
It's a tongue twister.
Single again, for whateverreason.
Tony Scott (59:18):
It is Josh Ross.
You gotta's a tongue twister.
Single again, the song I justtalked about, josh.
Tiffany Mason (59:21):
Ross, it is.
Yeah, it's really.
You've got to think before yousay it.
I referenced it on anotherepisode, but I just love when he
says the Tennessee or theNashville zip code and he's like
you can still hit up my 615.
Yeah, I love that.
Jay Franze (59:36):
Yeah, he's another
guy who's super nice, super
friendly.
Tiffany Mason (59:40):
I have a picture
with him.
Yeah, we discussed that.
I met him for one hot second.
Jay Franze (59:46):
And I like the
people he chooses, Like he was
on the road with Nickelback.
Yeah, yeah, and that's notreally a combination, I would
think, but it worked.
Tiffany Mason (59:55):
Yeah, I could see
that being a combination.
I have a better visionary sensefor that stuff, Jeffy.
Yeah, yeah, you do Okay, numberfour, mr Sam Hunt, with Country
House.
That was a song that I made youcheck out and I just love the
imagery he's, you know, drivinghis little lawnmower with his
(01:00:16):
shirt off, around a little freshbean patch and he's chopping
wood and I don't know, like hejust wants to be in love with
this woman on this, you know, country house, and it just makes
me think my childhood home andgood memories, and I am
constantly torn between, likethis redneck side of me, you
know, and then there's thisother piece of me that's like
(01:00:40):
more reserved and like I wastelling my wife the other day I
want to be a redneck, so bad Iknow I kind of do.
I get very torn between both ofthose worlds because I grew up
redneck for sure I'm city and mywife and her family is
definitely rednecks.
Jay Franze (01:00:55):
They would tell you
they're rednecks yeah, but she
says rednecks.
They would tell you they'rerednecks yeah, but she says
rednecks, just know how to havefun.
Tiffany Mason (01:01:01):
That's right.
Jay Franze (01:01:02):
When their workday
is over, they play just as hard
as they were Work hard, playhard.
Tiffany Mason (01:01:06):
Yeah, mm-hmm,
it's very true, it's very true.
And let me tell you what my dadworked, really freaking hard.
There you go, okay, okay, thereyou go, okay.
Number three Ella Langley withWeren't for the Wind.
Jay Franze (01:01:23):
Okay, weren't for
the Wind.
Can we go back to four for aminute?
Tiffany Mason (01:01:26):
Okay.
Jay Franze (01:01:27):
Four, when you were
describing the song to me, that
reminded me of my wife'sgrandfather, Because whenever
we'd go to his house he'd be out.
I mean, he was 90-somethingyears old, 91 years old oh wow,
and he's out working the farm.
Tiffany Mason (01:01:42):
It goes to show,
though I mean, our little pansy
lives now, Whereas those peoplehad to work hard.
Jay Franze (01:01:48):
Yeah, and he was
doing it by choice.
91 years old, you don't have tobe working the farm.
Yeah, but he insisted onkeeping his farm and he worked
it.
Tiffany Mason (01:01:58):
Good for him.
Yeah, I love that.
Jay Franze (01:02:01):
He was an impressive
man and a very tall man mm-hmm,
he's a few dollars all farmerboy yeah, and we know you are
very tall.
Seven to alright, six footsorry all right, ella Langley,
weren't for the wind.
Tiffany Mason (01:02:17):
Yeah, it weren't
for the Wind.
Yep, weren't for the wind.
Sorry, it just came to me.
I was trying to think of whatthe song was.
Okay, number two this hasrecently become like really a
big Hannah and I sang this songprobably five times today alone.
Morgan Wallen, just in Case.
I really like this song he'stalking about.
(01:02:40):
He's hung up on this girl andwhen he falls in love he never
says those three words and healways leaves a little space
just in case.
Jay Franze (01:02:48):
Yeah, yeah, okay, I
listened to that song today.
As a matter of fact, oh yeah, Inoticed the country station
here in town plays the same tensongs over and over and over
again so I could tune into thatstation and hear these songs.
So that's one of the songsthat's being rotated right now.
Tiffany Mason (01:03:07):
Yes, I know it's
nice to do radio, because then
you hear like what's latest, greatest, whatever.
But part of me feels likethat's also what's been paid to
be put out.
You know the political side ofit.
And then it also getsoverplayed and then it's like,
oh man, I liked it until I heardit every five seconds, right,
(01:03:28):
you know like Fancy, like yeah,I'm fancy, like apple bees on a
late night.
Yeah, I still like the song, though.
Jay Franze (01:03:36):
I know.
I do still like that one, thatis not a song that I would like,
but for whatever reason, I likeit.
Tiffany Mason (01:03:44):
Well, that's
pretty clever.
Jay Franze (01:03:45):
That was a big
TikTok song for a long time too.
Tiffany Mason (01:03:48):
Oh yeah, oh yeah.
I knew the TikTok dance of thetime too.
I was pretty proud of myself.
Jay Franze (01:03:54):
Nice.
Tiffany Mason (01:03:55):
Walker Hayes.
Jay Franze (01:03:57):
My daughters were
big on doing that and stuff.
Tiffany Mason (01:03:59):
Oh yeah, hannah
too.
All right, do Hayes?
My daughters were big on doingthat and stuff.
Oh yeah, hannah too.
Alright, do you have thedrumroll button, jay, okay.
Jay Franze (01:04:06):
Tell me when you're
ready.
Tiffany Mason (01:04:09):
Number one is
Corey Kent, with this Heart.
Jay Franze (01:04:15):
Such a big pause in
there.
I thought you were going to dosomething else.
Corey Kent, congratulations.
Two buttons.
MacKenzie Leigh (01:04:27):
I am proud of
you.
Who's your daddy?
Jay Franze (01:04:31):
Oh shit, call back
the last week if you don't know.
Anyways, yeah.
Tiffany Mason (01:04:38):
Oh, I know.
Jay Franze (01:04:39):
I know you do.
Tiffany Mason (01:04:44):
I know you do
what you wear.
Jay Franze (01:04:45):
know I know you do I
know you do, I know you do.
Cory kent all right, I don'tknow much about him.
Didn't go to a wedding with himme neither he's too new he's
too new can't argue with beingnumber one on the charts.
But, joanne, good for you,congratulations.
Tiffany Mason (01:05:00):
Also, who is it?
Jay Franze (01:05:02):
See you at the next
wedding.
Alright, let's move on.
Let's do a little artistspotlight here.
Zane Williams.
We talked about Zane Williamslast week and I wanted to just
dive a little deeper into him, because not only do you not know
him, but there's a good chance,a lot of other people don't
know him as well.
So he is from the Texas area,he's another Texas
(01:05:26):
singer-songwriter, but when Ifirst met him it was a while
back and his music was verysimple.
At the time it was just him anda guitar and he was singing
these songs.
Especially being in Nashville, you hear a lot of people doing
acoustic vocal songs, justsitting there with a guitar and
singing, yeah, but they allstart to sound the same after a
(01:05:47):
while.
You hear the same guitar, vocal, guitar, vocal, guitar, vocal.
But Zane had a way of makingthe guitar sound different and
it was captivating, making theguitar sound different and it
was captivating.
You'd sit there and watch himbecause he's an impressive
guitar player and then his vocalwas very impressive as well,
and we talk about storytelling alot.
(01:06:08):
He has his way of telling astory.
So his earlier records werevery guitar vocal storytelling
records.
But he's got one out right now,the Hands of a Working man,
which is a little bit moreproduced and I like it.
You know I like it a lot.
It's a very good soundingrecord.
(01:06:30):
It's one of those you know moreof that raspier type, sound and
grittier as we talk about, andit has a story behind it, like
you, like I do like.
But what I found impressive washe produced it himself.
Tiffany Mason (01:06:45):
Oh wow, that is
impressive.
Jay Franze (01:06:48):
Good for you, Zane.
MacKenzie Leigh (01:06:49):
Yeah.
Jay Franze (01:06:49):
Very good Now he
worked with.
Luke Wooten was the engineer,so that's good, and there was
others.
Tom Faulkner was also anengineer.
He was the mixing engineer, sozane didn't partake in that,
which to me.
He was giving the instructionsto what the musicians were
(01:07:12):
performing and he was relying onthe engineers to translate
those instructions.
Capture that recording.
Tiffany Mason (01:07:21):
Yeah.
So, it's very cool.
I did have a deep appreciationfor the lyrics, absolutely, and
what I liked about it, or how Iknew I liked it, is I played it
and I was doing something else, right, like I wanted to get like
a feel for the sound and then Iwas going to dig into the
lyrics.
(01:07:41):
So I had it just kind ofplaying and it played like three
or four times and by like thethird or fourth time I was able
to sing along with a couple ofparts which I'm a big sing along
fan, because I like the lyricsand I like the story and I want
to portray it myself.
But I also I know that I like asong if it can play multiple
times in a row and I'm not likeugh, shut this off.
(01:08:02):
It had a great sound to me,great storyline.
I agree with the grit.
It had a little bit heavierguitar, which I know are edgier
guitar, and so I thought it wasgreat.
Jay Franze (01:08:12):
Yeah, it had that
melodic.
What do we say familiarity toit that?
It had a good melody that waseasy to sing along to but wasn't
too predictable.
So, I did like that and it hadthat old-timey feel to it.
I think he has an old-timeyartist feel to me as well.
(01:08:35):
When I even looking at him, helooks like an old-time
singer-songwriter.
Tiffany Mason (01:08:41):
I didn't look up
his face.
Jay Franze (01:08:42):
You should.
Tiffany Mason (01:08:44):
I was focused on
the music, jay, I still imagery
cloud your opinions.
Jay Franze (01:08:50):
But yeah, so his,
his music.
I think it had um an emotionalfeel to it, a little bit of
romance.
Tiffany Mason (01:09:00):
Yes, I would
agree with that.
Jay Franze (01:09:01):
I won't say it was
lovely.
Because, who says that Only mypoor friend.
Tiffany Mason (01:09:07):
Janelle.
Jay Franze (01:09:08):
But it was emotional
for sure.
Tiffany Mason (01:09:10):
Yeah, I liked it.
Yeah, I thought it was great.
I would listen to it many timesmore.
Jay Franze (01:09:15):
You okay over there.
Tiffany Mason (01:09:16):
He was born in
the same year.
My sister was.
Jay Franze (01:09:18):
What year was that?
Tiffany Mason (01:09:20):
77.
Same year, my okay over there.
He was born the same year.
Jay Franze (01:09:20):
My sister was what
year was that?
77.
Same year my wife was 76, Ithink.
I also think that zane, um,he's kind of like zach top, zach
tops, bringing back like 90sstyle zane is bringing back,
like the original country styleI would agree with that, and
you're right.
Tiffany Mason (01:09:38):
in his images, he
definitely has that image too.
He's even got a stoic picturehe's not smiling.
Jay Franze (01:09:44):
Isn't that the best
type of photo?
No, I say that because she gaveme a hard time for our photo
together where I'm not.
Tiffany Mason (01:09:53):
But that one's
not stoic.
I know you're smiling, butpeople who don't know you don't
know you're smiling, they thinkyou're being stoic.
Yeah, smiling, but people whodon't know you don't know you're
smiling, they think you'rebeing stoic, yeah, but hey, I
see your smile.
Jay Franze (01:10:11):
No, no, I saw you
smile before.
I don't know if you have.
I don't know all right so zanewilliams.
If you haven't had a chance tocheck him out, I would highly
recommend checking him out.
He is touring right now.
He's in Texas, his home state.
Tiffany Mason (01:10:26):
I wonder if he'll
be popping up in any of the
benefits that are going to beput on.
Jay Franze (01:10:31):
That I don't know.
That's actually a very goodquestion.
Tiffany Mason (01:10:35):
I'm sure a lot of
artists are trying to get in on
that for exposure, but also fora great cause.
Be part of the solution.
Jay Franze (01:10:42):
Yeah, I would hope
that people are doing it for the
right reasons.
Absolutely.
Tiffany Mason (01:10:46):
Oh yeah, I think,
so too, I agree.
Jay Franze (01:10:48):
But, yes, do not
miss the opportunity to see him.
Kenny, he's near you.
Tiffany Mason (01:10:53):
Oh yeah.
Jay Franze (01:10:56):
What else you got
going on, my friend?
Tiffany Mason (01:10:58):
What else you got
going on, my friend?
Well, I actually am part of anetworking group and this lady
started a podcast that yourstruly is producing the audio,
and it's called why we Started.
She's interviewingentrepreneurs about why they
started their business and yourstruly was featured.
So I was one of the guests onher podcast.
(01:11:20):
I am going to put it on mywebsite as well, but it called
why we started and you guys cancheck it out.
It's the first episode and it'sall about me, because I'm sure
you guys are like, oh my gosh, she's amazing.
That's right.
That's what people are thinkinglike wait, I can hear her more.
Yes, you can.
And then I think I'm going tomake a trip to Iowa for the Iowa
(01:11:45):
State Fair.
Jay Franze (01:11:46):
Did you not invite
me?
Tiffany Mason (01:11:49):
No, no, I did not
.
My family's there.
Jay Franze (01:11:52):
I'm going to see my
family.
Can I not see your family?
Tiffany Mason (01:11:54):
I'd like to start
dating your mom.
You can if you want.
I don't think her husband wouldlike it, but she does like your
bedroom voice.
Jay Franze (01:12:04):
And what is she
wearing?
Tiffany Mason (01:12:08):
Probably a
t-shirt, some shorts.
It's not new.
I got her some orthopedicflip-flops Now you're selling it
, she just had knee replacements.
Jay Franze (01:12:17):
You're selling it
now, Sorry.
Tiffany Mason (01:12:18):
Mom, I love you
Mom.
Yeah, so I'm going to go checkout the Iowa State Fair.
I don't know if you've everbeen.
You guys, these are epic fairs.
I have to imagine it's like theTexas State Fair, but you guys,
these are amazing fairs.
Jay Franze (01:12:34):
It's bigger in.
Tiffany Mason (01:12:35):
Texas.
Yeah Well, we went to the fairsin, like other states, and
we're like, wait, this, this istheir fair.
Like we're so confused becausethey do it awesome.
So Iowa has a grand, thegrandstand, and if I had to call
it something I'd call it asmall venue.
So you know, like every seat isgood.
And I was like, hey, we'rethinking about coming, we'd like
(01:12:58):
to do the Iowa State Fair andyou know, my boy, forrest Frank,
is going to be there, and so Iwas really wanting to see
Forrest Frank.
Oddly enough, the Christianartist tickets were more
expensive than the countryartist tickets.
I was like, what is happeninghere?
Forrest Frank definitely has aunique style.
He kind of, I guess he kind ofraps or I don't know.
(01:13:20):
They're insanely upbeat, they're really fun to sing to
and they kind of have a rapcomponent to them, like a gentle
rap or something I don't knowEasy listening rap.
So I do love that he isperforming.
And then my sister was like, oh,I think Megan Maroney's the
next night and Hannah's beendying to see Megan.
Oh yeah.
And when I called my sister tosay hey, we might be coming, she
was like, oh, I think meganmaroney's the next night and
hannah's been dying to see megan, oh yeah.
(01:13:40):
And when I called my sister tosay hey, we might be coming, she
was like, okay, well, I won'tbe there thursday night because
we're going to jesse murph.
I'm like you've got to bekidding me.
I wish I had more money in mybank right now so I could take
hannah to jesse murph, forestfrank and megan maroney, but
that would be a blockbusterweekend that would cost me a
pretty penny.
Jay Franze (01:14:00):
That's what happens
when you have a yacht.
I know.
Tiffany Mason (01:14:04):
All your money
goes to the yacht.
It's expensive to maintain.
That's right.
Jay Franze (01:14:07):
Well, last week we
talked about our conversation
with the band Gradients.
Yes, that was released thisweek, so if you want to check it
out, please do Gradients, butit was definitely a fun
interview.
They were cool people to talkto.
And then the other thing I'mexcited about my friend is I
heard from miss rocky rose.
Tiffany Mason (01:14:28):
We mentioned her
earlier in the show yes she is
coming to town with miss cindylopper I know, I say it like
that because I'm bummed, I'mmissing it.
Jay Franze (01:14:39):
Not my fault.
Tiffany Mason (01:14:40):
I know, I know.
Jay Franze (01:14:42):
But I'm going to go
enjoy some Cyndi Lauper.
Yes, I'm going to see my goodfriend Miss Rocky Rose.
Tiffany Mason (01:14:50):
Rocky Rose.
Oh, that's so awesome.
Jay Franze (01:14:52):
I mentioned, she was
a Berkeley student that went on
to the London Conservatory.
When she was at Berkeley that'swhen I met her I got a chance
to produce her first album.
She actually wrote a solo albumbefore she went to work with
all these other artists, so Ihad a chance to go in the studio
and record that album with her.
That's pretty cool.
It's very cool.
(01:15:13):
She was also on the show.
Tiffany Mason (01:15:17):
I get emotionally
overwhelmed with cool
experiences and music veryeasily and I feel like if I
watch somebody record theirmusic, I feel like it would be
so moving, I think I would cry,I think I would Like just to be
immersed in like all of thestuff you know like.
(01:15:40):
Just so cool.
I just can't even imagine.
Jay Franze (01:15:44):
There's been times.
You know you get emotionalsometimes when you see some
extreme talent in a room, whenyou see, people that are just
beyond compare.
You know, you see these peopleperform, you're like wow.
But when you see people perform, it's like that wow factor.
But then there's also like awriter who writes this killer
emotional song and you're likewow.
But when you see people perform, it's like that wow factor.
But then there's also like awriter who writes this killer
emotional song, Lee Bryce, whenwe were in the studio and he did
(01:16:08):
, I Drive your Truck.
Oh, forget about it, oh man, dear God, if you weren't
shedding a tear in that roomthat day, you're not human.
Yeah, and that one hurt.
That was some of the bestmusicians in the world, greatest
writers All of the pieces cametogether on that one.
Tiffany Mason (01:16:27):
Yep, perfect
start to get a bunch of guys
crying there you go.
Jay Franze (01:16:34):
How often is it you
get to have guys cry right there
?
You go, either take them toyour daughter's dance
competitions or you go listen toLee Bryce, you know, eh, all
right, my friend, going to landthe plane Any objections?
Tiffany Mason (01:16:47):
Nope, I'm ready.
