All right, my friend, before weget started, let's do it.
Let's just get it out of theway.
The question of the day.
Last week we did best malevocalist of all time.

Tiffany Mason (01:29):
It's only fair that this week we do best female
vocalist of all time.
It's only fair that this weekwe do best female vocalist of
all time, agreed, and if youguys did not see that, you guys
would see that on our socialaccounts, so you guys can kind
of weigh in and give us some ofyour answers on social media as
well as tonight live.

Jay Franze (01:41):
Fair enough, I like it.

Tiffany Mason (01:44):
I love it.
I want some more of it.

Jay Franze (01:46):
Sorry, sorry, it's McGraw Also the theme behind the
Nashville Predators.
Every time they score a goal, that's what they play.

Tiffany Mason (01:56):
Ah, I love that there you go.

Jay Franze (01:58):
Little tidbits of information throughout the night
.

Tiffany Mason (02:01):
You're full of it , and I don't mean just the
Browns stuff.

Jay Franze (02:04):
I'm full of it, and I don't mean just the brown
stuff, I'm full of it all right.
All right, I would say.
A couple years ago now, interviewed a guy named Jeff
King.
Jeff King, session player,guitar player.
He also goes on the road withReba, as well as Brooks and Dunn
, and when they came throughtown here, my daughter, who was

(02:25):
nine at the time, daughter LucyJeff, gave us a couple of passes
to come see him play.
So we went to see him play andwhen we were there we also had a
chance to see John Root, who istheir drum tech who was also on
the show.
So two shows you should go backand check out.
They were very, very good shows.
But we went to see them andJeff got us these passes and my

(02:48):
daughter was thrilled because wegot to go in early.
We got to walk backstage, wegot to go see all the bands do
their sound check.
Then we got to go eat, which is, of course, my daughter's
favorite part.
We go there oh wait, maybe thatwas my favorite part.
I get confused.
But we go eat and then we walkaround.
Well, jeff had to go get readyand John was still there with us

(03:10):
and he says come on, I'm goingto take you around.
He takes us up on stage.
So my daughter gets to go onstage and she gets to look out
on the stadium.

Tiffany Mason (03:18):
Which has got to be so cool it's awesome Right.

Jay Franze (03:21):
And then she gets to sit at the drum kit and play
drums and we got to go out backwhere the camera guys were and
got to watch them and they lether press the buttons and change
the colors that were on thescreen and all the fun stuff.
So we got to see all the thingsthat they do, how they set up
the guitars, the drums, I meaneverything.

(03:42):
Greg Morrow, another greatstudio musician he was the
drummer and it was just awesometo see them all.
I worked with Greg for years, with Bob Bullock as well as with
Matt McClure, so I mean it wasa good time to catch up with
everybody and a really good showto see and my daughter loved it
.
So we've got pictures, we savedthe backstage passes and again

(04:06):
she will never go to a concertthat we would normally go to the
shows.
She just will never want to seethat ever again, she's been
spoiled, way too spoiled at thispoint.
Well, last week you're talkingabout the CMA Awards.
Yeah Well, brooks and Dunn, after all these years, are being
nominated for Best Duo of theyear.

Tiffany Mason (04:25):
Do you think that they're going to get it?
Okay, so the nominees areBrooks and Dunn Brothers,
Osborne, Dan and Shay Muscadine,Bloodline I don't know them
HeWore and Treaty I don't knowthem either, so they're not
going to win.

Jay Franze (04:40):
So what are you saying?

Tiffany Mason (04:41):
There's a reason why they were put on there.
It was to bring awareness tothe other three.
Is that?

Tony Scott (04:46):
what it was.
The other two, sorry, yeah,awesome.

Tiffany Mason (04:48):
I think, so I don't know.
I feel like Dan and Shay mightwin that one.

Jay Franze (04:54):
Oh, going for a new one versus an old one, I got it.

Tiffany Mason (04:59):
Well, they do have newer stuff and I really
love their bigger houses rightnow.

Jay Franze (05:05):
They sound just like Rascal Flatts to me.

Tiffany Mason (05:09):
I can see that.

Jay Franze (05:11):
I can see that I'll probably lean a little bit more
towards Dan and Shay, but that'sokay, we won't tell Rascal
Flatts, all right.
Well, let's talk about theawards.
What do you got to tell usabout the awards?

Tiffany Mason (05:26):
Well, I thought we would just go through them a
little bit.
Entertainer of the Year we gotLuke Combs, kelsey Ballerini,
cody Johnson.
We got Jelly Roll, chrisStapleton, morgan Wallen, laney
Wilson.
Morgan Wallen he made quite astir recently on Saturday Night
Live.

Jay Franze (05:43):
Tell us.

Tiffany Mason (05:44):
At the end the spotlight music performer and
then whoever the big name isthat night.
They usually like hang out, talk to the cast as the credits
roll and Morgan Wallen likebeelined out of there and it was
this whole you know thing.
And I guess like the castdidn't really think too much of
it until afterwards, somewhereon social media, he posted a

(06:10):
picture of his plane and it justsaid get me to God's country.
Okay, now if I'm saying get meto God's country, I may be just
like thrown out a holler to myNashville roots, right, like
it's not necessarily a rip onthe Saturday Night Live people.
If he would have said get meback to God's Country, then I
would have felt like it was liketoo much for him.

(06:32):
Like Hollywood, no, thank youSaturday Night Live, I don't
like these people.
But he just said get me toGod's Country.
He was just shown his plane.
I don't know if he meantanything rude by it, but
everybody's got to spineverything.

Jay Franze (06:46):
God's Country is the name of a podcast for two other
songwriters from Nashville.
I mean they just refer to thatarea as God's Country.
It's part of the Bible Belt, Imean it's all that stuff.
So I don't think there was anyharm in it or any ill intent
anyway.

Tiffany Mason (07:03):
No, I really didn't think that, but it's
caused, you know, all kinds ofoh my gosh, it's so silly to me,
it's not the first time he'shad any issues with with
saturday night live either.

Jay Franze (07:15):
He broke their covid policy back in 2020, so he's
had some some rub with them inthe past.

Tiffany Mason (07:25):
When I was watching the review on what
exactly happened, they weretalking about Ashley Simpson, I
know, and I was like, wait, Iknow this story or been
refreshed of the story becauseof you bringing it up, but while
we're on Morgan, he actuallyhas released a new.
We're not on.

Jay Franze (07:42):
Morgan, you might be on Morgan.
He actually has released a new.
We're not on, morgan, you mightbe on Morgan listen, jay, this
is my segment.

Tiffany Mason (07:54):
wow, I see you trying to pull rank, but no,
okay.
So I thought I would just throwthis in while we were talking
about Morgan, so that we wouldthrow this in while we were
talking about Morgan, so that wewould throw this in while we
were talking about Morgan Wallen.
He actually has a new tracktitled Just In Case, and it has
quickly become one of the mostpopular songs US country radio,
tying for third place.

(08:15):
Fans on X are buzzing about theunexpected drop, speculating it
might be a hint of aforthcoming album.

Jay Franze (08:21):
A little hint here it's like breadcrumbs yeah.

Tiffany Mason (08:25):
Yeah, I'm digging on it.
I like it Okay.
So also, jelly Roll was onAmerican Idol recently talking
to the finalists before theywent out and performed, so I
don't know.
I feel like he's really gettinghis name out there and he's
kind of pulling a Post MaloneLike Post Malone's in all the
songs.
But I there and he's kind ofpulling a post malone like post

(08:46):
malone's and all the songs, butI feel like jelly roll is really
inserting himself to all kindsof genres, walks of life.

Jay Franze (08:50):
Yeah, he does a lot of duets as well, so he's
collaborating with a lot ofpeople in addition to post
malone.
I think they're going forcollaborators of the year is
that one of the titles let's seehere?

Tiffany Mason (09:04):
No.

Jay Franze (09:05):
It should be.

Tiffany Mason (09:10):
It should be, because they would definitely be
in competition.
Okay, Then we have FemaleArtist of the Year Kelsey
Ballerini.
Oh good, again.
Ella Langley, Megan Maroneyhave you gotten on the Megan
Maroney train?
Are your girls?
Have the girls.

Jay Franze (09:24):
She opened up for Brooks and Dunn so we got to see
her as the opening act.
We got to see her do her soundcheck and all that stuff.
But no, my kids on a normalbasis they don't listen to too
much country.

Tiffany Mason (09:37):
Okay, okay, hannah is all about Megan
Moroney.

Jay Franze (09:40):
No, it's more of the Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey's,
those type of things.

Tiffany Mason (09:44):
Got it, okay.
Okay, they're also competingagainst Kacey Musgraves and
Lainey Wilson, two names thatwere already on there.

Jay Franze (09:52):
I like Lainey Wilson .

Tiffany Mason (09:54):
Yeah, I like Lainey Wilson.
Recently engaged, miss LaineyWilson, but she has sold out
multiple dates across her NorthAmerican tour, which is the
Whirlwind Tour, and she actuallygot CMA Entertainer of the Year
, so she's continuing to fuelthe headlines.

Jay Franze (10:12):
She's really good.
I like her.

Tiffany Mason (10:14):
Yeah, you know, for the longest time.
I thought she was the oldestdaughter in the show Nashville.
I don't know where I pickedthat up, but I was like, oh yeah
, I've been listening to thisthing for many years on
Nashville, and then no, no, soyou watched Nashville.
Oh yeah, religiously.

Jay Franze (10:33):
So I thought you didn't know where the Bluebird
was.

Tiffany Mason (10:36):
Well, I know that they're in there all the time,
but I don't actually know whereit is in Nashville.
I mean, it's like saying I canperform a tracheotomy because
I've watched Grey's Anatomy.

Jay Franze (10:46):
You can't.

Tiffany Mason (10:49):
I have a general idea.
I could figure it out.

Jay Franze (10:51):
Yeah, you just stick something down their throat.

Tiffany Mason (10:53):
Right, it's like a straw, you just go for it.
It's like an EpiPen but it's astraw.
Yeah, sure it's like about thatlittle spot in your clavicle

called, and I absolutely fellin love with it.

(11:38):

lot, or up in the news a lot,or you know I'm hearing his name
a lot and I'm like, oh, howabout that?

Jay Franze (11:54):
he was up and coming in.
Now he's arrived.

Tiffany Mason (15:50):

So but I can't place a songright now.
Cody Johnson, he's back.
Dirt cheap.

Tiffany Mason (18:09):
Giant unveils a new single.
It's called A Night to Remember.
Have you heard it yet?

Jay Franze (18:15):
I have not heard the new single.
I am anxious to hear the newsingle.
This is a band that was popularback in the day.

Tiffany Mason (18:22):
Oh yeah.

Jay Franze (18:23):
This band popular for multiple reasons.
I mean, they never got thecredit they were due.
I think they're an amazing rockband, but the guitar player in
the band is Dan Huff, who'sarguably the world's best
producer at least in the topthree for sure.
But he's the guitar player inthis band and his brother was

(18:44):
also in the band.
I think his brother was thedrummer and they both went on to
become very, very popularproducers.
And then Mike BrignardelloAnyways, he's an amazing bass
player too, but he was in theband Giants and he's now a
session player as well.
They got credit.
They did, but I don't thinkthey got all the credit they

(19:05):
deserved.
But they all went on to amazingcareers in Nashville as studio
players and producers.
Dan Huff wrote a couple of thesongs for their new release, but
I don't think he's got the timeto play guitar for them when
they hit the road or do anythinglike that.
I'm anxious to hear the newalbum thanks, just see if they

(19:25):
hit the road anxious in a likenervous way or anxious in an
excited way excited way, I don'tget nervous yeah, isn't that
funny.

Tiffany Mason (19:35):
We always use anxious for like nervousness,
but it's really.
I think the actual definitionis excited, mm-hmm.
Okay, well, the nextinteresting piece of news.

Jay Franze (19:45):
Reach out to us for your mental health too, because
we can help you there, I'm surewe've got a lot of advice.
What do they say?
This is not a medical show.
Do not take our advice.
You could take ours.
Come on, If you're dumb enoughto take our advice.
You deserve what you get, takeours.

Tiffany Mason (20:04):
come on if you're dumb enough to take our advice.
You deserve what you get.
Play stupid games, get stupidprizes.
My one client who has a healthpodcast.
She has to say at the end norelationships were formed and
that you have to seek medicaladvice, that she is not a
medical professional.

Jay Franze (20:18):
So we have to protect this bottom line.

Tiffany Mason (20:23):
Short bottom line .
Okay.
Disturbed Hits number one IWill Not Break has climbed to
the top spot in the mainstreamrock airplay chart, with
frontman David Powerful vocalsdriving its success.
Draymans, david Draymans.

Jay Franze (20:42):
I thought it was.
I was sounding it out, davidDraymans.
David Draymans, I thought itwas rant, rant, rant, rant, rant
.

Tiffany Mason (20:47):
I was sounding it out.

Jay Franze (20:48):
Is that what you were doing?

Tiffany Mason (20:52):
Like Charlie Brown's teacher Womp, womp, womp
womp, womp, there you go Do youlike Disturbed.
Well, you know what?
Actually, I was listening toour podcast and you were talking
about Five Finger Death Punchthe lead singer.
And then you said or Disturbed, lead singer.
So I went and listened to someDisturbed and I think I do like

(21:15):
Disturbed and I did definitely.
What was the one?
God, it was so good, you know.

Jay Franze (21:22):
The popular cover Sounds of Silence.

Tiffany Mason (21:25):
Yes, that's what came up, and I was like oh dang.

Jay Franze (21:30):
He does a great job on that song.

Tiffany Mason (21:34):
Mm-hmm, if you guys have not heard it, I mean
I'm not going to say, leave theYouTube, the live streaming, but
if you're listening in thepodcast version, just shout it
out.
Hey, siri play disturbed soundof silence.
It's so good you're notsupposed to say that.
Well, I did a lady in the phonehey, lady in the phone, I think

(21:58):
that's me.
If they're listening to thepodcast, it's me you're the lady
in the phone, all right.
But I did do a little rabbittrail the other day and checked
out Disturbed on our behalf.

Jay Franze (22:13):
There you go, because I wanted to know what
you were talking about.

Tiffany Mason (22:16):
Yeah, so we already talked about Morgan
Wallen and his new music and hisabsurd behavior on Saturday
Night Live.

Jay Franze (22:25):
Is it really, though ?
Is it really absurd?

Tiffany Mason (22:27):
No, no, it was not.

Jay Franze (22:29):
I mean he did take an odd exit off the stage, but
walking straight towards thecamera versus walking off the
side of a stage.

Tiffany Mason (22:37):
Maybe he's never been on that kind of stage
before he's waiting for him inthe back of the room.

Jay Franze (22:41):
We don't know.

Tiffany Mason (22:43):
We don't know.
We don't know the whole story.
There's two sides we don'tsites really.
Morgan, his side, their side, and the truth.

Jay Franze (22:50):
Jay, frenzy, calm, slash life.
George, you're with us.
Give him a call real quick andsee if you can get him on here
what's his last name?

Tiffany Mason (22:59):
I always known as Lauren.

Jay Franze (23:01):
Michaels.
Michaels two first names okaysaturday night live creator yes,
yes, I did know that I figuredwe should make the connection
for everybody and if they don'tknow who lauren michaels is,
it's on them.

Tiffany Mason (23:15):
We're talking saturday night life we're
talking.

Jay Franze (23:18):
How old are we?

Tiffany Mason (23:19):
never mind I mean , they just celebrated 50 years
and we remember a lot of oldstuff.
So we remember all 50 years allright, let's talk about post
malone's country era continuing,so post malone's f1 trillion
album tracks where hecollaborates with.

Jay Franze (23:40):
Who now?

Tiffany Mason (23:41):
yeah right, including guy for For that with
Luke Combs and Pour Me A Drinkwith Blake Shelton remain strong
on the charts and the headlines.
He's staying top of mindbecause of his influence in
blending country music withother genres, so people are
commenting about it, so ofcourse it's coming up.
I mean, it is kind of a smartway to stay top of mind when

(24:03):
you're dabbling in everybodyelse's recordings.

Jay Franze (24:07):
I think if he just released a record like everybody
else did, I don't think hewould have that attention.
But collaborating witheverybody under the sun, he's
getting a lot of attention.

Tiffany Mason (24:20):
I don't mind his fast vibrato, but I don't
necessarily love it in Pour Me aDrink.
I like him in the first onethat he did that.
I can't even remember MorganWallen, but I don't love this
one with Blake Shelton.
I'm not a fan.

Jay Franze (24:35):
He's not my favorite .

Tiffany Mason (24:36):
Somebody pour me a drink.
I don't like it.

Jay Franze (24:42):
Now YouTube that was not me actually singing well,
yeah, yeah, no, she did that onpurpose.

Tiffany Mason (24:48):
It was me making fun of it.

Jay Franze (24:50):
I like Jelly Roll's collaborations a little bit
better.

Tiffany Mason (24:53):
Yeah, he's just got such a big heart.
I mean, there's a show that wewatch and he's always on that
Tunnels to Towers commercialwhere they're asking you to
spend like $11 a month orwhatever.
But he's like I'm just a bigfat guy, I get to sing on the
stage and do what I love, andhe's like it's because of the
men and women who protect us andso I don't know I like that, I

(25:16):
like anybody who's patriotic, because I think we all should be
.

Jay Franze (25:20):
You've mentioned that.

Tiffany Mason (25:22):
Yes, yeah, I feel pretty strongly about it.
Also, let's, let's just take alittle rabbit trail here.
So, yeah, we don't have abutton for that.
We were at Hannah's cheercompetition and they had this
huge TV screen and they havethis American flag waving during

(25:43):
the national anthem.
That seems like a good thing.
I feel like it should be thereal flag.

Jay Franze (25:48):
Well, yeah, it shouldn't take the place of the
flag.

Tiffany Mason (25:51):
Yeah, there was no flag in the venue and I think
that it should be the realMcCoy.
I'm just traditional feelingthat way, Like I want it to be
the real thing.
Show that you're actuallydedicated.

Jay Franze (26:03):
I'm with you but to be fair, were they in an arena?

Tiffany Mason (26:06):
They were.
Yeah, it was kind of like anarena.
There was, like you know, whenyou go to a basketball arena or
whatever and you see all thewires and beams and everything
overhead, they had all that.
So I'm like you guys could havewound up an American flag and
just had a little pulley systemor something that lowers it down
for the national anthem andpulls it back up.
You know, it just seemed likesuch a cheerleading competition.

(26:28):
They're not thinking of thatwell, the venue itself should be
thinking of that, for all thethings that go on in that, that
building fair enough.
It's a.
It's a performing arts center,so I don't know, it just seemed
like a miss to me.
But last but not least, carrieUnderwood.
In a venue of her own in Vegas, the Resorts World, on April 6th

(26:51):
she did her 100th show.
So I think that's kind of likea big.
It's like you know, when you'redoing podcasting and you hit
like your 100th show, it's kindof a big deal to have performed
a hundred times at yourresidency.
I don't know.

Jay Franze (27:05):
I would say that would be a huge feat.
Is she the only one to ever doit?

Tiffany Mason (27:11):
Oh no, I don't think that's not what the story
was, because I mean Celine Dion.

Jay Franze (27:15):
She was there for years.

Tiffany Mason (27:17):
It's not Dion, it's Dion, okay.

Jay Franze (27:24):
Celine Dion what am?

Tiffany Mason (27:26):
I saying wrong that's not wrong right, it was
the emphasis on the wrongsyllable oh, is that what it?

Jay Franze (27:31):
is sorry, celine and also it's Noah Cahan yeah, and
you're telling me, I'm puttingthe emphasis in the wrong places
, alright whatever you say.
You're telling me I'm puttingthe emphasis in the wrong places
.

Tony Scott (27:44):
All right.

Jay Franze (27:45):
Whatever you say.

Tiffany Mason (27:48):
So that's all I have about Carrie Underwood.
I did catch another AmericanIdol.
She was fantastic.
In that one too, I think, theone that you and I both watched
she held a little boy and hekind of fell asleep.
Maybe you didn't watch that one, Anyways I did.
I thought we watched the sameone, but this boy falls asleep

(28:10):
like in her arms or whatever andthen she ends up handing him
off to luke bryant, brian, lukebryan, oh my goodness, I always
do this and hannah gets so madat me.
Okay, luke bryan, when they weredoing the final cuts, who I
think it's who's going to makeit to Hollywood?
There were two ladies at thevery end and the one lady I
think her name's, brianna gotthe ticket to continue on and

(28:32):
that little boy was there againand Carrie Underwood picked him
up again.
So they're forming quite thelittle bond, her and that little
guy.
Kind of cute to see them belike real people.
You know, she kind of seemsauntie-ish when she does that
and it's like aw.
And then you realize like, ohyeah, she's a mom and she has
kids and you know she knows howto be personable.

Jay Franze (28:53):
She knows how to do these things.
Question of the day, friends.
As I throw my pen around.

Tiffany Mason (29:03):
It's getting rowdy in your studio, Jay.

Jay Franze (29:06):
I know I'm getting a little ornery, I guess.

Tiffany Mason (29:09):
I guess All worked up over this.

Jay Franze (29:11):
I mean, I'm excited, I'm anxious, I don't know.
Question of the day, folks.
Best female vocalist of alltime.

Tiffany Mason (29:26):
We've been watching the Floor, which is the
.
I'm pretty positive.
It's the old deal or no dealstage, or whatever, and it's
like, and the lights come downand they all point to one area.
That's what it made me think of.

Jay Franze (29:38):
Is that what we're doing now?

Tiffany Mason (29:40):
Game shows.

Jay Franze (29:41):
Best game show of all time.

Tiffany Mason (29:47):
Family Feud.
Deal or no deal was pretty good.
Uh, I liked whammy, no whammy.
My sister and I every freakingsummer, oh my goodness, we go
lay out at the pool.

Jay Franze (29:54):
I'm way left in my head if you want to continue
this conversation.

Tiffany Mason (29:58):
It's gonna go way way left.

Jay Franze (30:00):
No, no, no which one's whammy, which one's no
whammy I'm no whammy, she'swhammy, okay.

Tiffany Mason (30:10):
We go to the pool , we lay out, we come in, we've
made macaroni and cheese.
We watch days of our lives.
We watch wheel of fortune andwhammy, no whammy.
And man, every time they got awhammy my sister and I would die
laughing everything.
And we did the same thing withreal fortune when they would
give bankruptcy.

(30:32):
Oh my god, it was awesome tosee who's everything we're gonna
come back on track, folks, Ipromise.

Jay Franze (30:44):
George says I could use a pen mug.
Oh, look at Kenny's with us too.

Tony Scott (30:51):
Oh, good to see you, kenny all right folks.

Jay Franze (30:56):
Best female vocalist of all time.
I to start.
This is a tough one, but I'mgoing to start with Lizzy Hill.

Tiffany Mason (31:07):
Oh, okay.

Jay Franze (31:08):
Can I go a little bit more current?
Okay, lizzy Hill has got anamazing voice, extremely
powerful.
Now she did hurt her vocalcords a while back and she had
to learn a new way to sing.
Oh my goodness, and she stillrocks it, I mean she's amazing.

(31:30):
So I think, for a currentartist anyway, she would be
right up there at the top of thelist that's awesome if I had to
pick somebody.

Tiffany Mason (31:41):
The person who came to my mind was actually
Miss Celine Dion, who youalready mentioned.

Jay Franze (31:48):
She's a good artist, a good vocalist.
I don't know if I would go bestof all time.

Tiffany Mason (31:53):
Yeah, because she can be super powerful or she
can be super vulnerable.
She can be very quiet, she canbe fun and upbeat, she can do
super slow and you're alwayspulled in Like she's always got
you.

Jay Franze (32:07):
So yeah, Kenny's busting my cookies.
He wants me to say with morefeeling.
I don't know how much morefeeling you can get out of me,
kenny.
I'm pretty pretty level here,buddy.

Tiffany Mason (32:21):
Now, if it's me, it's like like, yes, catty's in
the house all right, so let'smove on a little bit let's start
with george george, what sayyou?

Jay Franze (32:36):
george says selene dion and to be fair, he's got it
up there before we even startedtalking about her, nice.

Tiffany Mason (32:47):
I agree, george, I agree.

Jay Franze (32:50):
And he says thank you for the enthusiasm.

Tiffany Mason (32:52):
Oh yes, you are so scrumdiddlyumptious Welcome.

Jay Franze (32:58):
Nice George also says Reba melts his heart.
Reba is very, very good as well.
These are very good vocalists.
I'm still holding out to put myfinal vote for number one.
I want to hear everybody's vote, see if somebody can change my
mind, fair enough.

Tiffany Mason (33:18):
Fair enough.

Jay Franze (33:20):
Alright, I'm going to go straight to Misty, because
Misty also says Lizzie Hill.
I'll take that.

Tiffany Mason (33:28):
Did she sway your opinion?

Jay Franze (33:30):
She did not sway my opinion.
I'm already there.
Cindy Cindy's in the housefolks.
Cindy says Stevie Nicks Notmine, I know, I know, I have
nothing against Stevie Nicks, but I don't think she's the best
female vocalist of all time Iwould agree, not of all time um

(33:52):
brin brin, the rules we don'tfollow rules.
Brin is a rule breaker.
There is more than one she saysyou can't narrow it down to
just one.

Tiffany Mason (34:06):
You have to start with Aretha Franklin.

Jay Franze (34:08):
That's a voice I mean respect.

Tiffany Mason (34:10):
You know what I'm saying.

Jay Franze (34:14):
R-E-S-P-C-T.
Do you know how to spell it?
I don't know how to spell it, Ionly know how to sing it.
If you took the melody out ofit, I wouldn't be able to do it.
Yes, Aretha, absolutely.
She says Billie Holiday.
Another one Bonnie Raitt.

Tony Scott (34:29):
There you go.

Jay Franze (34:29):
Oh, ooh.
Now this one, brynn.
This could put Lizzy Hill infor the running here.
Ann Wilson, oh, lead singer ofthe band Heart, by far one of

(34:51):
the best vocalists ever.
Alright, so let me make note ofthat.
We got Ann Wilson is going upagainst.
This is like our own final fourbracket.

Tony Scott (35:03):
Ann.

Jay Franze (35:03):
Wilson against Lizzie Hill.
All right, those are my twotops so far, but she goes on.
She says Linda Ronstadt, annieLennox.

Tiffany Mason (35:17):
Oh yes.

Jay Franze (35:19):
All right, dave.
He says if we're talking popmusic, we're going with Karen
Carpenter.

Tiffany Mason (35:26):
I have her on the list I do have her and you know
I'm a fan.
I got her record downstairs.
Oh yeah, I show you.
I can show you Right there.
Karen Carpenter.

Jay Franze (35:35):
She's a very clean vocalist.

Tiffany Mason (35:38):
She's got one of the purest voices.
I also have Patsy Cline on here, and same same.

Jay Franze (35:43):
Patsy Cline is another great one.
That's a good choice as well.

Tiffany Mason (35:47):
Thanks.

Jay Franze (35:48):
All right, here we go.
Sarah, everybody, please stopwhatever you're doing and pay
close, close attention.
Sarah says Hello, dearest, Ilove your photos, I love your
posts.
You are very nice and a goodfriend you would be.
I tried sending you a friendrequest, but it did not go

(36:14):
through.

Tiffany Mason (36:15):
Would you please?

Jay Franze (36:17):
drop a comment here.

Tiffany Mason (36:18):
Yes.

Jay Franze (36:19):
If you don't mind accepting my friend request?

Tiffany Mason (36:21):
Yes, do it, jay Sarah.
Get that friend.
Consider that.
Done my friend request.
Yes, do it, jay Sarah.
Get that friend Consider thatdone.

Jay Franze (36:26):
my friend, Consider it done.
It is on its way.
Please, if you don't get it,reach back out.
I promise I will be there foryou.

Tiffany Mason (36:36):
Yes, be good friends.

Jay Franze (36:39):
We will be good friends in the future.
We will be good friends today, all right.

Tiffany Mason (36:46):
I have two, and I feel like I want to say them at
the same time, because I liketo break rules and I actually
don't like to, but in thisinstance I don't know.
We're narrowing it down, soit's okay, right now, okay, so I
have Kelly Clarkson and CarrieUnderwood.

Jay Franze (37:00):
You know what Kelly Clarkson is on my list.

Tiffany Mason (37:04):
Yeah, yeah.

Jay Franze (37:05):
Yeah, I like Kelly Clarkson.
I don't think she beats theothers, but I don't either.
She's one of my favorites.
You know I had that argumentwith Bob at the Grammys that she
wins over Paul McCartney and Ido think she does win Best
Vocalist over Paul McCartney.

Tiffany Mason (37:24):
Yeah, I do agree.
I do think she does win bestvocalist over Paul McCartney.
Yeah, oh yeah, I do agree, I doagree.

Jay Franze (37:29):
I also had Leanne Rimes on my list.
Oh, that is one that's not onmy list but should be.

Tiffany Mason (37:35):
She's really good Her yodeling.
I don't know if I need yodeling.
Well, when she did Blue right, she was yodeling.

Jay Franze (37:42):
Yeah, true statement .
Yeah, true statement.

Tiffany Mason (37:44):
Yeah, it's truth spoken here, truth and love.

Jay Franze (37:48):
All right, let's see and friendship.
Celine Dion.
Oh Donna, come on.

Tiffany Mason (37:52):
Oh Donna.

Jay Franze (37:58):
Donna says the best female vocalist of all time
would have to be Celine Dion.

Tony Scott (38:02):
For her, breakthrough hit the Power of
Love.

Jay Franze (38:03):
I love that song and she goes on to say my heart
will go on from Titanic.
It's amazing as well.
Here's one that nobody has saidyet.
Epic Roxy says Whitney Houston.

Tiffany Mason (38:16):
It's on the list, Jay.

Jay Franze (38:17):
It's on my list.
It might be on your list, butyou didn't say it.
I agree Whitney Houston has gotone of the best voices ever.
I just, for whatever reason, amnot the biggest Whitney Houston
fan.
Early Whitney Houston, yes.
Late Whitney Houston, no.
And I don't mean late in thefact that she's passed away.

Tiffany Mason (38:36):
I like early and late.
Well, two that you probably donot know because they're
Christian artists, but LaurenDaigle she actually had one song
on pop radio too, I think andCC Wayans I don't know, either
one now.

Jay Franze (38:52):
I'm gonna have to look him up.

Tiffany Mason (38:54):
Thank you for that mm-hmm, cc Wayans kind of
has not really but kind of aWhitney Houston feel.
We're like power ballad singer, like that kind of.

Jay Franze (39:04):
Defiant Lounge Makes me kind of wonder.

Tony Scott (39:12):
Says Ella.

Jay Franze (39:13):
We don't even need to say her last name, just says
Ella.

Tiffany Mason (39:16):
Fitzgerald.

Jay Franze (39:18):
Fitzgerald.

Tiffany Mason (39:19):
Ella Fitzgerald.

Jay Franze (39:24):
She's up there.

Tiffany Mason (39:26):
You know who else was on there Emmylou Haynes.

Jay Franze (39:30):
Emmylou Harris.

Tiffany Mason (39:32):
Yes, I said Emmylou Harris.

Jay Franze (39:37):
Here it comes, ready Tiffany.

Tony Scott (39:40):
No, you're fired.

Tiffany Mason (39:43):
Just saying no, I was so close, I thought I was
going to sound educated thattime.

Jay Franze (39:52):
And yet it didn't work.
Max Growth Pro Size Con 2025.
Wow, max Growth Pro Size gone2025, says adele tell us got a
very good voice rolling in thedeep oh, here we go, folks.

(40:12):
Carl tats in the house.
Carl tats gets a full namebecause he's a previous guest.
He is a studio designer hedesigned not only my studio but
bob looks, belook's and RascalFlatts and so on and so forth.

Tony Scott (40:25):
He is an award-winning studio designer.

Jay Franze (40:28):
I believe he has just recently won an award, if
not a Grammy.
So congratulations to Carl Tatz, but he says Sarah Vaughan and
Barbra Streisand.

Tiffany Mason (40:40):
I don't know Sarah Vaughan, but Barbra
Streisand.

Jay Franze (40:43):
Barbra Streisand's a good one, my good friend Carla.
Her dad used to work for SonyRecords and it was his job to
take the artists out and takethem home for a home cooked meal
when they come through town, sothey wouldn't have to go to
restaurants or hotels.

Tony Scott (40:57):
And Barbra Streisand used to be at their house quite
a bit.

Tiffany Mason (41:01):
Side note, it was very cool Ah you said you loved
to watch me Before my time, butyou know what he did for me.

Jay Franze (41:07):
What he made the connection for me to the Sony
Records in Nashville when Ifirst moved to Nashville.
That's how I got to go to SonyRecords and meet up with Billy
Ray Cyrus and Billy.

Tiffany Mason (41:18):
Yates and all those people, oh so cool, uh-huh
.
Yates, all those people, oh socool, uh-huh.

Jay Franze (41:21):
So thank you to Carla's dad.

Tiffany Mason (41:24):
Did I go?
Carla's dad.

Jay Franze (41:26):
Oh, caden, caden is in the house.
Caden Say it Whoop, whoop, sayit slow.

Tiffany Mason (41:33):
K-C, no K-G-C.
I'm sorry, Caden.

Jay Franze (41:40):
K-G-C.
K-g-c.

Tiffany Mason (41:43):
I know I always have to think of what his last
name is, but if I start withoutthinking about, his last name
then Caden Collins.
Yeah.

Jay Franze (41:49):
Also a guest of the show.
Friend of the show he says KateStanton, who is also a guest on
the show oh Kate.
Stanton has a very, verysmooth-sounding voice.
She is very, very talented.
I'm a very big fan of Kate.
No one has mentioned it yet.
It's disappointing to me.

Tiffany Mason (42:12):
It's a big one, pat Benatar.
I almost did, but then Idecided not to put her on my
list.

Jay Franze (42:16):
I think she deserves to be in the running.

Tiffany Mason (42:18):
Yeah, Any more you have on your list?
Yeah, I have Ingrid Andres.
I'm not even sure how to sayher name.
Quite honestly, she's got aMaren Morris kind of feel to her
.
All right, A little bit ofraspy, but not like you know.
Janis Joplin was like almosttoo raspy for saying best

(42:39):
vocalist voice.

Jay Franze (42:40):
Well, it depends on what we want to get out of a
vocalist.

Tiffany Mason (42:43):
yes, True, but I think like going mainstream or
average or whatever.
You know, probably too raspy, but Ingrid has just a little bit
, but still, you know, strong, steady, good sound.

Jay Franze (42:58):
No one mentioned Mariah Carey yet.

Tiffany Mason (43:00):
Wasn't gonna.

Jay Franze (43:01):
No, I think she's very talented.
Not my favorite, though not myfavorite by any stretch.
I don't know if you're a tinaturner fan or donna summer patty
labelle.
I like yeah, out of those.
Would you still considerwhitney houston up on the top of
that list if you get thosesingers in there as well?

Tiffany Mason (43:21):
Mm-hmm.

Jay Franze (43:22):
Over Patti LaBelle.
I guess, just different style.
You mean over Patti LaBelle orAretha Franklin, ella Fitzgerald
, you'd still go with WhitneyHouston.
No, I mean, patti LaBelle wasWhitney's mentor, or Donna.

Tiffany Mason (43:44):
Summer.
I mean, I still am pretty setwith Celine Dion.

Jay Franze (43:51):
What was it the cake that Donna left out in the rain
?
Was it the cake or the pie?
She left baked goods out in therain.

Tiffany Mason (44:00):
Oh, I thought that was a great song how about
Dolly Parton?

Jay Franze (44:06):
She's pretty good, I mean she's Character good.

Tiffany Mason (44:11):
But she's vocally good.

Jay Franze (44:13):
Yeah, no one mentioned Cher.

Tiffany Mason (44:18):
I know I saw her on the list too, but I just
didn't think she, I don't know.
I didn't think she topped anyof these guys all right, I think
we can start.
Depends on like kind of whatyou like.
But yeah, I'm just a sucker forsomeone who can belt it out
what about melanie kramer?

Jay Franze (44:34):
yes, from cersei from cersei, there you go don't
she left the cake out in therain.
Thank you, george.
You are not fired yet, althoughbe careful.
Be careful, george, always onestep away.

Tiffany Mason (44:54):
Oh crap, I'm ruining my own joke.
What is it?
Oh, private eyes are watchingyou.
They see your every move.
They're watching you, watchingyou.
They see your every move.
They're watching you, watchingyou.

Jay Franze (45:08):
Kenny says it's MacArthur Park.
That was a great song.
I love that song.
Alright, so let's narrow itdown.
I think we've got it down tofour.
Here we have Ann Wilson, lizzieHale, kelly Clarkson and Pat
Benatar.

Tiffany Mason (45:27):
Oh, celine Dion is on there, george, and I voted
for her.
No, don't At her.
Celine George can you believehe was going to leave out?

Jay Franze (45:40):
our vote Dion.
Well, you know we had a lot ofvote.
Oh, we didn't mention ChristinaAguilera.

Tiffany Mason (45:49):
Ooh, that's another good one, dang.

Jay Franze (45:51):
Especially when you compare.
You know the battle between herand Britney, type thing Britney
, I liked Britney and I likedher music.
But Christina can sing.

Tiffany Mason (46:00):
Mm-hmm.

Jay Franze (46:01):
I mean just throwing that out there.
Or Amy Lee Evanescence.

Tony Scott (46:07):
Mm.

Jay Franze (46:08):
She can sing.
Still, you know, she getscompared to Amy Lee, gets
compared to Lizzie Hill a lotbecause they do duets together
and stuff Uh-huh.
But I would say that LizzieHill, in my opinion, comes out
on top of that All right.
So, amy Lee, you were honorarymentioned, but thank you for

(46:28):
joining, thank you for beingpart of this, thank you for
being part of this.

Tiffany Mason (46:39):
Let's go with your battle between Celine Dion
and Kelly Clarkson.
I have to go.
Celine George Kenny.

Jay Franze (46:46):
Celine Dion or Kelly Clarkson.

Tiffany Mason (46:49):
Can they tie?

Jay Franze (46:50):
No, this is the first of the bracket here.

Tiffany Mason (46:56):
so no, I'm going Celine, because she's so
sophisticated.

Jay Franze (47:00):
She is sophisticated .

Tiffany Mason (47:02):
Yes, and I like that she's actually.
Is she French?

Jay Franze (47:05):
She is French-Canadian.

Tiffany Mason (47:10):
Yes, and so I like that.
She crossed over and again, just the vulnerability, the
dynamicness of her voice,Although Kelly Clarkson can do
that too.

Jay Franze (47:19):
Yeah, kelly Clarkson is awesome.
I think you hit it withsophistication, celine's
sophisticated.

Tiffany Mason (47:26):
And Kelly is playful, and normally I always
go playful, but on this one Igot to go sophisticated.

Jay Franze (47:32):
I probably do.
I like playful but I kellyclarkson better.
But I think celine dion wouldsqueak out the win based on
talent alone.
Now I like kelly clarksonbetter.
I would buy a kelly clarksonrecord over celine dion record,
I mean george says celine dion.

Tiffany Mason (47:51):
I think the other part that makes this really
hard for me is when I used todrive from Minnesota down to
Iowa to see my family.
When the boys would fall asleepI would turn on the Celine Dion
CD and I would sing both sides, every single song.

Tony Scott (48:05):
Both sides of the CD .

Tiffany Mason (48:08):
Oh, all the songs on the CD, all right folks.
Both sides Jay.

Jay Franze (48:15):
Tiffany, you're fired.

Tiffany Mason (48:21):
Dang it.

Jay Franze (48:22):
George says she is so strong, and I assume he's
talking about Celine, not you.
Alright, so Bracket number one.
For the win.

Tiffany Mason (48:33):
Kelly, sorry, alright so bracket number one,
celine Dion, for the win.
Okay.

Jay Franze (48:34):
Kelly, sorry, what's the?
Other battle alright, this isgonna be a tough one.
I don't even want to compare.
Ann Wilson Hart or Pat Benatartalk about a tough one what do
you say?

Tiffany Mason (48:54):
What do you say you say first oh, this is so
tough.

Jay Franze (49:03):
Pat Benatar is classically trained with opera
music and is super, supertalented even outside of the
world of rock.
But Ann Wilson is just sonaturally talented and gifted
and amazing.

Tiffany Mason (49:27):
I'll go Pat.

Jay Franze (49:28):
Two of my absolute favorites, but I'm leaning to
Ann Wilson for sure.
Ann Wilson for that.
George and Wilson or PatBenatar tiebreaker way in we
need input all right?

(49:49):
So well, we wait for that.
That leaves my original pick ofLizzie Hale.
So Lizzie Hale is going upagainst the tiebreaker.
George, we need your input, george, you're taking too long.

Tiffany Mason (50:08):
George, you're fired.
Thank God, somebody else isgetting fired these days.

Jay Franze (50:17):
George says Pat Benatar.
I hope she spelled it right.
Yeah, that's close enough,George, but still you agreed
with Tiffany, so George, you'refired.
Just throwing that out there.
All right, so did we reallyjust knock Ann Wilson off for
Pat Benatar?

Tiffany Mason (50:33):
Yeah yeah, all right, so did we really just
knock Ann Wilson off for Pat.

Jay Franze (50:35):
Benatar?
Yeah, yeah, all right, patBenatar or Celine Dion.
George, feel free to chime in,see if you can earn your way
back in.

Tiffany Mason (50:49):
The fact that you're telling me about Pat
Benatar that she's classicallytrained and can do something
outside of rock.
I mean, I don't think Celinecan do rock.
So you're telling me Pat ismore versatile, which would make
her more of the all time bestfemale vocalist.
For versatility, because theyboth clearly have the talent.

(51:12):
For versatility, because theyboth clearly have the talent.
But you could collaborate PostMalone could collaborate with
Pat Benatar, but I don't seeCeline Dion and Post doing any
kind of collab.

Jay Franze (51:25):
So you're leaning towards Pat Benatar?

Tony Scott (51:29):
Yep.

Jay Franze (51:30):
Are you leaning or is this your final answer?

Tiffany Mason (51:34):
That's my final answer.

Jay Franze (51:36):
Back to the game shows Benatar All right, george
also says Pat Benatar, and Iwould also say Pat Benatar.

Tiffany Mason (51:44):
Wow.

Jay Franze (51:49):
Pat Benatar gets a three-way win to move on.
Wow and that means Pat Benataror Lizzie Hill.
Now let me just say twoextremely similar vocalists.

Tiffany Mason (52:05):
Can we give them the winner for the past and the
winner for the current?

Jay Franze (52:10):
No, because that would be too easy.

Tiffany Mason (52:12):
Sorry, ladies, I tried to get you both to win and
the winner for the current no,because that would be too easy.
Sorry, ladies, I tried to getyou both to win.
George, you weigh in first.

Jay Franze (52:26):
George, tiffany just threw it to you.
Anybody else that would like tochime in?
Please do.
Pat Benatar, or Lizzie Hill NowPat Benatar, or Lizzy Hale now
Pat Benatar.
I mean, hell is for children.
Oh my god, one of the best rocksongs ever in her voice, and
that's.

Tiffany Mason (52:45):
It's just absolutely amazing okay, this is
what I'm gonna say.
I can.
I can I beat George, is thatokay?

Jay Franze (52:52):
yeah, go ahead.
You beat him all night long.

Tiffany Mason (52:54):
Beat the hell out of him last show we burned him
this show we're beating him.

Jay Franze (53:05):
This is what you look forward to each week you
pick on the people you love themost.

Tiffany Mason (53:10):
Um, I'm gonna say pat benatar because miles,
because there's just somethingthat you gain over time.
Right, there's just more Idon't know owning who you are
and the experience on the roadand doing different.
You know collaborations ordifferent genres or whatever.

(53:34):
So I'm going to go Pat Benatarjust for sheer experience,
because I think their talentagain is the same Celine won for
sophistication against Kelly, and so now Pat is going to win
for experience over Lizzie Hale.

Jay Franze (53:50):
I don't know if that's how I want to judge a
vocalist, but okay.

Tiffany Mason (53:54):
Well, we've already established they're both
very amazing, so you gotta havesomething that breaks the tie.

Jay Franze (53:59):
That's true.

Tiffany Mason (54:01):
So my tiebreaker is experience.

Jay Franze (54:03):
Oh, this is so tough for me, literally two of my
favorite vocalists of all time, pat Benatar, when she sings Hell
is for Children or Hit Me Withyour Best Shot, or those type of
songs, they're just especially.
Hell is for Children.
Or Hit Me With your Best Shot,or those type of songs, they're
just especially.
Hell is for Children.
I mean that's a powerful,powerful song.
But Lizzy Hale, I Miss theMisery is equally as powerful.

(54:26):
And then she's got others I GetOff or Love Bites, those type
of songs Equally as powerful.
Pat Benatar is probably alittle bit more well-known,
classically trained.
I think Lizzy Hale has the roadmiles that Pat Benatar has,
just in a different arena.

Tony Scott (54:45):
I mean.

Jay Franze (54:45):
Pat Benatar is older and still out there performing,
so technically I would sayshe's been around a little
longer.
I think Lizzie Hale looks up toPat Benatar Now.
I mean it's tough, because Itold you I saw Pat Benatar do

(55:06):
that crossroads with MartinaMcBride.

Tiffany Mason (55:09):
Yeah.

Jay Franze (55:10):
And I did not think she performed Martina McBride
songs well.
I thought she was going to killit.
Yeah, and I did not think sheperformed Martina McBride songs
well.
I thought she was going to killit.

Tiffany Mason (55:16):
Yeah.

Jay Franze (55:17):
And I thought she failed and I thought Martina
failed when she sang Pep Benatarsongs and nobody mentioned
Martina McBride, one of the bestin the world as well.
However, when it came tosinging each other's songs, I
don't think they did as good ajob as expected.
Other songs I don't think theydid as good a job as expected.
Lizzy Hill I've seen herperform, you know, every once in

(55:37):
a while and not quite hit whatI would want her to hit, but oh,
it's tough.
George says he's gonna belistening to Lizzy later because
he's not familiar with her.
He says he'll be watchingLizzie Hill tonight.

Tiffany Mason (55:59):
I think I would have to go with Pat Benatar.
All right, pat Benatar, reachout to jay at jayfrenzycom for
your prize.

Jay Franze (56:18):
Oh, George, get on that buddy.
All right.
Well, what else?

Tiffany Mason (56:21):
you got going on.
Well, we actually had a verydramatic, traumatic weekend,
expensive weekend.
Our French bulldog, who isalmost 50, well, he was 52, was
53 pounds but then he got downto 48 or something.
But he was actually very sickwith an inner ear infection.
It actually made half of hisface, gave paralysis, so it's

(56:43):
like hanging because it pusheson like nerves.
The doctor told me it's nervesseven and eight that was being
pressed on.

Jay Franze (56:54):
That's what I was going to say.

Tiffany Mason (56:55):
I just didn't want to jump to conclusions
right, you were gonna let meknow about seven and eight.
Yeah, you would have been right.
Um, but this is kind of theannoying thing.
So I had to go to town to takeyou into a cheer competition.
We knew saturday morningsomething was off and I thought
I can't do anything.
I got to take her to thiscompetition.
We had to leave early in themorning.
Sean had appointments all daylong that he had to go to when

(57:17):
he got home at night.
Our plan was we'll just takehim on Sunday.
When I got home, but he wasdoing so bad.
Sean brought him to an ER thatnight.
They gave him medicine.
Great, sean gives him themedicine, wakes up the next day.
He's not doing any better.
So he's actually like I can'tremember what Sean said he was.
He was already acting, justvery odd, very odd behavior.

(57:39):
Okay, so he says hey, you'regonna be home by 3 15.
Can you take Max to the vet?
Yeah, no problem.
So I take him to the vet andthey give him more medicine and
of course they want to do likex-rays and they're trying to
tell us it's cancer and allthese things.
It's not cancer.
I don't know what to tell you,but it's just not cancer.
This is just an expensive dogthat always gets ear infections.
Okay, so the doctor on Sundaylooked at us and was like, well,

(58:03):
you know, because of hischronic dry eye.
Sean and I looked at each otherand we're like nobody ever told
us this dog's got chronic dryeye.
And so like, yeah, there's alot of inflammation around his
eye from the chronic dry eye.
And so like, yeah, there's alot of inflammation around his
eye from the chronic dry eye.
He's eight years old.
In eight years nobody botheredto tell us he's got chronic dry
eye.
I mean, he's been seen by thesame vet group the entire time

(58:29):
Because George, look that up.

Jay Franze (58:30):
Is that a?
Thing?

Tiffany Mason (58:33):
Okay, so he's got chronic dry eye.
Okay, so then he's got this earinfection.
He's got so much fluid theycan't see just tympanic membrane
.
They're assuming it's likeshattered or whatever.
I don't even understand, Idon't know the biology of it
anyway.
So they say we gotta get theswelling down.
And this dog is like keepinghis head to the side.
He can't walk, he's wobbling,he's falling down like he's

(58:53):
dizzy, clearly.
Okay, then he doesn't.
So then they give more medicine.

Jay Franze (58:58):
He doesn't get better maybe it's real then,
because his other eyes hold inall the liquid and just kind of
holding him down yeah, I don'tknow, it was a thing.
Okay, this dog was out of sortsI'm assuming your dog's okay
now and it's okay to make thejokes he's okay, he's okay now.

Tiffany Mason (59:14):
So then I took him to the vet for the third
time and the tech there she'slike oh yeah, you just force
feed him.
Cause we kept saying like weneed the swelling to go down, we
need the swelling to go down,we need them to take the
antibiotic.
And everybody kept telling uslike, oh, he's got to have this
deep earwash, oh, he's got tohave a CT scan.
It's probably cancer.
Blah, blah, blah.

(59:35):
And I'm like I'm not evenemotional because that's how
convinced I'm, just I'mconvinced it's just not cancer.
So I'm like what else can we do?
We just need to get theswelling down.
We need it's an ear infection.
That's what he's got.
He's got an ear infection.
And so finally this tech says,oh yeah, you just force feed him
and you force the pills in hismouth.
And I was like what?
So?
Why didn't the oh, oh, sorry.

(59:57):
On day two, when they look athis medicine dosage, they're
like that's like a baby dosage.
This dog weighs 50 pounds,y'all.
Okay, I'm like why are wegiving him a baby dosage?
So I was a little bit annoyedthat it costs like literally, I
think, a thousand dollars thisweekend to take care of this dog
for an ear infection that Ithink the er doc could have

(01:00:20):
shown my husband how to forcefeed him and force feed him the
pills, turns out.
You just take disgusting softdog food and you add water to it
and you suck it up through asyringe.
I just want to point out youtook a very happy show tonight
and you're just crushing it.
Well, the good news is thismorning so two, three times we

(01:00:44):
had to do that, where we had tolike shove pills in his mouth
and you blow your air in theirnose and it triggers a swallow
mechanism and then they swallowthe pill and blah, blah, blah.

Jay Franze (01:00:55):
Anyhow I try to trigger that mechanism with my
wife.

Tiffany Mason (01:00:57):
It just doesn't work and that's a gag reflex
that you're trying to get no, Ilike to hear the gag wait.
We need a left turn button weneed the sound of a turn signal.

(01:01:18):
I don't know whatever yes, sohe is finally eating.
We got his medicine.
He has to take five medications, but it ends up being nine
pills, so we're getting this dogdrugged up and he's 26 times a
day two times a day only once anhour it's like two steroids and

(01:01:41):
two antibiotics I took twosteroids today oh my gosh it's
steroid season routine is yourdog?

Jay Franze (01:01:50):
george says it might be a sign of a larger problem.
It's generally not seriousthere are various factors that
can cause dry skin in dogs.
George, we need eyes, eyes, george where is it?
George, where is it?

Tiffany Mason (01:02:06):
uh, oh.
George, you're fired thank you, george oh yeah, so it makes
prescription number seven if weinclude the eye drops.
Yeah, all right oh no, six, sorry, six, he's on six all
right.

Jay Franze (01:02:23):
Well, I mean, I had an episode that you didn't want
to partake in come out this week, dalton h.
So that came out.
It was a very good episode.
It was nice to talk to the guy.
It was nice to be his firstinterview ever Worth checking
out.
But I also had a chance thisweek to talk with Matt Drago,

(01:02:46):
who is an actor.
He's pretty good and prettynice guy.
He was fun to talk with andhe's got a movie out called
Somewhere in Montana and it'sworth checking out.

Tiffany Mason (01:02:57):
Everything's worth checking out.
Don't everything's worthchecking out.

Jay Franze (01:03:00):
Not everything's worth checking out.
We come back on Thursday andyou'll see there's a lot of
things that aren't worthchecking out.

Tiffany Mason (01:03:10):
Topless Thursday would not be good with us.

Jay Franze (01:03:18):
Sloppy Thursday, I'd be all over the place anyway, I
don't know.
Last week you, you were liftingup your shirt.
An awful lot last week uh-huh,yeah.

Tiffany Mason (01:03:27):
Well, I had the bucky's t-shirt on you had to
show us your beaver.

Jay Franze (01:03:29):
Sorry, I love that tank top.

Tiffany Mason (01:03:30):
I love that tank top, I love that gas station to
show us your beaver.

Jay Franze (01:03:33):
Sorry, george, I love that tank top.

Tiffany Mason (01:03:35):
I love that tank top, I love that gas station.

Jay Franze (01:03:36):
I'm going to slap my hand, George.
I got it.
George is yelling at us now.

Tiffany Mason (01:03:42):
Sorry, george.
Sorry George.
Tomorrow we'll drop my VegasGray recap, where Rachel and I
went out and watched Vegas Gray.
A trio, an acoustic trio.
It's actually very goodSomething to look forward to
tomorrow.

Jay Franze (01:03:58):
You know, we've mentioned Jeff Tate a couple
times.

Tiffany Mason (01:04:05):
Who's?
Jeff Tate, it's late, I didn'ttake notes.

Jay Franze (01:04:10):
Jeff Tate is the lead singer of Queensryche or
was the lead singer of?

Tiffany Mason (01:04:13):
Queensryche or was the lead singer of
Queensryche?
He's the lead singer to.

Jay Franze (01:04:18):
Queensryche, yes, queensryche.
Yeah, that's him, that's theguy, yeah he's coming to town.

Tiffany Mason (01:04:25):
Oh nice, is George hot and bothered?
Is that what he's saying?
He's hot and bothered, is itlike a?

Jay Franze (01:04:31):
Yeah, it's one of those things so I was thinking
of going to see jeff tate whenhe comes to town.
So, george, if you want to go,just let me know.
I'll tell you what, george,I'll get the tickets and I'll
give you a place to stay.
All you have to do is get overhere.

Tiffany Mason (01:04:47):
Fair enough, fair enough I'm sure your wife loves
you inviting all these peopleto your house.

Jay Franze (01:04:55):
I just invite people .
My wife will have no problemwith it, I swear.

Tiffany Mason (01:04:59):
It's a hostel.
It's the Francie Hostel.

Jay Franze (01:05:02):
It's going to be hostile around here, if I keep
doing this.
My wife does not like visitors,or at least not without a lot
of preparation.

Tiffany Mason (01:05:14):
Yes, yes.

Jay Franze (01:05:16):
I don't get that.
I just know Come on over, surewhat the hell?

Tiffany Mason (01:05:18):
or at least not without a lot of preparation
first.
Yes, yes, I don't get that, Ijust know, come on over sure
what the hell.

Jay Franze (01:05:23):
I'm like that too.
My husband would prefer alittle heads up.
Oh, just come on over.
George says he got the shirt.

Tiffany Mason (01:05:28):
Yay, nice, you have to send a picture.

Jay Franze (01:05:32):
Send a picture you know what, get on here and show
us one day.
That's okay too.
Very good.

Tiffany Mason (01:05:39):
Are you camera shy, George?

Jay Franze (01:05:41):
No, he's not camera shy, he's been feeling under the
weather.

Tiffany Mason (01:05:44):
Oh yeah, that's right.

Jay Franze (01:05:46):
So sorry, george.

Tiffany Mason (01:05:51):
Well, here's some well wishes to you to feel
better, george, get well soon.

Jay Franze (01:05:55):
Yeah, it doesn't have to be soon, just get well.
I mean it could take a fewweeks, I'm okay with that.

Tiffany Mason (01:06:02):
You could be in misery for a few weeks.
I think it should be soon.
Fine, being that he likes mebetter than you.
Fine soon.

Jay Franze (01:06:07):
Yes, we know he likes you better.
We get that.
I'm the one who gave him ashirt.
I just want to point that out.

Tiffany Mason (01:06:13):
We we gave him a shirt.
Oh yeah, that's right, that'sright.
Yes, you almost gave him theshirt off your back my Bucky's
beavers t-shirt, tank top.
Can you imagine?

Jay Franze (01:06:26):
George in my tank top I was talking to somebody
about Nashville being thebachelorette capital of the
world these days.
Oh my gosh yes, and there's abar there called the Wild Beaver
.
It could not possibly be abetter name for a bar ever than
the Wild Beaver.
But they have mechanical bullriding, of course, so that
attracts all the bachelorettes.

(01:06:47):
I mean what better bar can youhave than the Wild Beaver, where
you can ride a bull?

Tiffany Mason (01:06:53):
I have a lot of thoughts about that.

Jay Franze (01:06:56):
Well, you, you hold on to those thoughts and thank
me in the morning there you go.

Tiffany Mason (01:07:00):
I'm using my filter.
You have a filter.

Jay Franze (01:07:04):
Is it a brita?
All right folks.
Well, we have done it.
We have reached the top of thehour.
We've actually reached thebottom of the hour, which does
