All right, my friend, before weget started, we have to talk
about the question of the day, please.
Question of the day wassuggested by you and that is
what is your favorite breakupsong?
So if you would like to putyour favorite breakup song in
the comments, we will go aheadand read it there.
We also read it off the socials, but we will be talking about
that later in the show.
(01:27):
All right, I'd like to tell youa story.
Tiffany Mason (01:32):
It's okay to tell
your story I will sit down on
the story time carpet andeagerly listen I don't.
Jay Franze (01:39):
I don't feel the
eagerness, but I'm going to tell
the story anyway, because it'smy daughter's birthday, my, my
daughter's birthday.
She's turning 15 years old, butthat reminded me 15 years ago.
I was out working with a clientand I was on the road.
I was doing a transfer, anescort and a transfer which
means I would drive them placesand I would escort the artist
(02:02):
through crowds or to shows or toaward shows.
So I was out with this clientand they had a child right after
mine.
So we're on the road and we'retalking and he's asking me
questions about my child, youknow.
Does she sleep through thenights?
Is she eating this, is shedoing that?
And after a while I looked athim.
(02:26):
Like you realize, I'm here withyou and my wife is home with
the baby right now, so I don'tknow any of these things you're
asking me.
And he laughed at me.
But this person that I was onthe road with was Eric Church.
And I bring up Eric Churchbecause I saw that he's on the
road.
He's going out on the roadagain.
He's somebody that not only didI like him back then, he was
(02:47):
just a genuinely nice guy but hehas performed with one of my
favorite artists.
Do you know who that is?
Tiffany Mason (02:55):
Nope.
Jay Franze (02:56):
Lizzie Hale from
Hailstorm.
Oh, I could have guessed andthis was at the CMA Awards, so
it was the year that I drove himto.
It was nice and we got to go tothe award show and I've worked
with her a couple of times too.
She's a very nice person, butthis night was about him, and to
see him go on the stage andthen bring her up on stage to
play with him I thought wasreally cool.
And not only was that reallycool, but nobody knew nobody in
(03:19):
the country world do who she was.
And you could see the artistsin the audience looking up at
the stage like who is thisperson?
Because they didn't recognize arock artist.
But they performed really well.
It was really good.
And if you haven't seen it andI know, miss Tiffany, you have
not, but if you haven't seen it,go on YouTube, search Lizzie
(03:40):
Hale and Eric Church from theCMA Awards.
It's a very cool video.
And check out the reactionsfrom the people in the audience
Very cool, so he must have a15-year-old.
He does, boone.
Tiffany Mason (03:52):
Boone is his name
Okay, okay.
Oh, it's a son.
Jay Franze (03:56):
It is a son.
Tiffany Mason (03:57):
He has another
son too.
Jay Franze (03:58):
I forget his other
son's name.
Younger Boone was the first one.
Um, tennessee hawk was thesecond.
What interesting names I know, right huh?
Not bad, very cool.
Tiffany Mason (04:13):
Nothing but good
things to say about eric and his
family there is a celebrity oninstagram and I saw that they
you know they had posted somepictures with their kid or some
videos or whatever, and I waslike, oh my gosh, their baby's,
so much older now, never didpick up on the name or anything.
She named her baby Sunday.
So like, did you have her on aSunday?
(04:35):
And you're like, well, heck, Idon't know, let's call her
Sunday.
It's a beautiful day that shecame into our life and let's
call her Sunday.
I thought I don't know.
I mean, I don't know.
Sometimes people are the nameof the name of the week.
Jay Franze (04:52):
Were you ever a fan
of Eric Church?
Tiffany Mason (04:54):
I do like Eric
Church.
Jay Franze (04:56):
Do you have a drink
in your hand?
Tiffany Mason (04:58):
I have like iced
tea.
I have iced tea in my hand.
Now, if Pure Leaf wants tosponsor us, it's.
It's a Pure Leaf lemon iced teain my hand.
Yeah, now, if Pure Leaf wantsto sponsor us, it's a Pure Leaf
lemon iced tea, so go ahead andsend your request.
Jay Franze (05:11):
Oh, no product
placement here or anything, but
if anybody wants to reach outjust let us know.
Tiffany Mason (05:20):
Anyways, that's
all I wanted to tell you that
was my little story for the day.
Well, your Pepsi can looks alittle retro.
Is it, which makes me think ofthe first story that I want to
share with you.
Jay Franze (05:32):
I see the segue
there yeah, yeah.
Tiffany Mason (05:36):
So something else
that is classic was the
airplane from 2016 tour fromIron Maiden that they have
dubbed Ed Force One.
Ooh, george is in the house.
Welcome back, george.
Jay Franze (05:53):
Kenny's in the house
and Caden's in the house.
Tiffany Mason (05:57):
Yay, good to see
you guys.
Well, so what they're doing isso interesting to me.
They have cut up this plane andthey have turned it into
collectible keychains andluggage tags.
The tags are being sold byGermany's Aviation and they are
selling them for 66.66 poundsand it is a reference to the 82
(06:21):
hit song, the Number of theBeast.
And then Bruce Dick Dickinson, the Iron Maiden singer, said
she's been scrapped up to bitsbut will live on.
So kind of a cool way to, youknow, have the plane around and
a lot of fans maybe, likeyourself, jay, you know could
revel in some piece of thehistory of the Boeing 747.
Jay Franze (06:44):
Yes, All right, so
do you know why it's Eddie?
Tiffany Mason (06:48):
I do not Okay.
Jay Franze (06:50):
Eddie was their.
I don't know if you'd call hima mascot, but Eddie was what
they created.
It was a larger than lifecharacter that they would put on
stage, and I mean it would be20 feet tall and overlooking
everything.
And obviously the number of thebeast, the name of their song.
But Bruce is a pilot.
(07:10):
That's the whole thing behindthe plane.
So when Bruce came to town Ihad a chance to work with him, a
very, very nice guy.
He was the first rock artistthat came to Nashville that I
picked up behind the hotelbecause there was too big of a
crowd in front of the hotel.
I took him through the tunnelsystem and escorted him on stage
(07:32):
.
He was just super, super niceabout the whole thing.
But I wish I'm sure it's onInstagram I have a picture of
the pass from that night.
I think it was 2013, if so,cool correctly.
Tiffany Mason (07:46):
Uh, that's very
cool, very cool.
Well, rascal flat has announcedtheir upcoming 11th studio
album because we can't just sayalbum life is a highway refueled
duets set for the release ofjune 6th through big machine
records.
This marks their first studioalbum in eight years to follow
their breakup in 2021.
(08:07):
Celebrating their 25thanniversary, the album features
nine re-recordings of past hitswith artists such as blake
shelton, jason aldean, carlypierce, kelly clarkson,
backstreet Boys, brandon Lake, izzy Hale Lizzy Hale oh, lizzy
(08:35):
Hale Ashley Cook and JordanDavis.
A new song, I Dare you, featuring the Jonas Brothers,
was released as a lead single onJanuary 31st, so it looks like
they have released one of thesongs and those are the ones to
come.
I had to read the whole thingbecause I could never remember
that many artists, but I thoughtthat they were all worth
mentioning.
Jay Franze (08:47):
Including Lizzy Hill
.
Tiffany Mason (08:49):
Including.
Jay Franze (08:50):
Lizzy.
Tiffany Mason (08:51):
Izzy Hill,
whatever.
Jay Franze (08:54):
I mean, it might
also be worth getting right, but
you know, I can't believe youguys.
Tiffany Mason (09:00):
Jay is such a big
fan.
He was on Kaden's show, the KCGshow.
Jay Franze (09:05):
And they asked him
K-G-C.
We say it slow, so we get itright.
Tiffany Mason (09:11):
Because otherwise
it becomes a tongue twister for
Jay, for me, yes.
Anywho.
Caden asked him who is yourfavorite artist and he said
Lizzy Hale from Hailstorm.
So I thought that wasinteresting that you know he
says it on the show, but it'sactually true.
Jay Franze (09:30):
I don't recall that.
Tiffany Mason (09:32):
Oh, you did, you
did.
Jay Franze (09:34):
I believe you just
don't recall it, cuz I don't
remember what we were doing twominutes before this show.
Tiffany Mason (09:38):
Right, I can
completely appreciate that.
Completely appreciate that I'mold.
Well, Wynonna Judd is also setto embark on the Greatest Hits
Tour to celebrate four decadesof chart-topping hits.
Holy crap.
Now Wynonna is the daughter, isthat correct?
Jay Franze (09:57):
Yes, Wynonna is the
daughter, the red-headed
daughter.
Tiffany Mason (10:01):
Uh-huh, and
Ashley is her sister, the
actress, grandpa, tell me aboutthe good old days.
I love that song.
Okay, luke combs is beinginducted into nashville's music
city.
Walk of fame will take place onmarch 20th at 12 30.
(10:22):
If you're in Nashville and youwould go to Walk of Fame Park,
have you been to the Walk ofFame Jay?
Jay Franze (10:29):
You know what?
I'm sure I have, but no, I haveno idea where it is.
I have no idea what it is.
I mean Nashville's, a smallplace.
I'm sure I've walked by it orover it, on it, I don't know.
But no, nothing that I've heard.
Tiffany Mason (10:39):
Well, I wonder if
it's like the stars for
Hollywood Boulevard.
Jay Franze (10:44):
Yeah, it's got to be
something like that I would
normally think it would be onMusic Row, but my gut is telling
me it's probably down aroundthe museum.
Tiffany Mason (10:52):
That's what I
think too.
So if anybody listening hasbeen to Music City Walk of Fame,
tell us what does it look like?
Is it like a whole bunch ofguitars or what is it?
Because in LA it's the stars?
Jay Franze (11:06):
We have technology,
my friend.
Tiffany Mason (11:09):
Oh.
Jay Franze (11:11):
There you go.
You know how to use that crazystuff.
Look at that, Eric Church.
Tiffany Mason (11:15):
Stop, that's
crazy.
Jay Franze (11:18):
It's almost as if it
was planned.
Tiffany Mason (11:21):
It is almost as
if it was planned.
It's not yeah.
And look, there's the Batmanbuilding in the background.
Oh, how about that?
Click on that picture.
I've never seen the Batmanbuilding.
I used to love Batman.
When I was a little kid my momintroduced me to like the old
school kind you know, whereBatman and Robin wore like
(11:42):
tights and they had the silkmasks and the silk capes still,
I love those and they wouldpunch each other and it would be
like wow, pow, you know I lovethat Anyway.
Okay, so Cody Johnson andCarrie Underwood's duet I'm
Gonna Love you climbed to numberone country radio this week,
(12:02):
overtaking previous leader ColeSwindell's Forever to Me also
entered the top five, accordingto posts on X.
Jay Franze (12:10):
On X.
Tiffany Mason (12:11):
I know that's
weird to read that.
Twix.
Since we started this podcast,I've really been listening to a
lot of classic rock because I'mtrying to do my homework.
Jay Franze (12:25):
You're trying to
keep up.
Trying to keep up with the oldparts.
Tiffany Mason (12:30):
Yes, I can't have
you mentioning more bands that
I don't know.
So I honestly, it's just it'sbeen nostalgic for me, so I'm
like I'm just going to listen toit.
You know, we talk about thesesongs and then they just get me
thinking about other songs thatI've loved so much, and then I'm
like, forget it, I'm going onclassic rock, so that's what
I've been listening to a lotlately.
(12:51):
Okay, and then the duggar band,a tennessee country duo, was
reportedly barred fromperforming their song true
colors on today in nashville dueto its perceived political bias
, sparking discussion aboutartistic freedom, as noted on
posts on X.
Clearly these came from X, so Idon't know Duggar Band, but
(13:11):
what do you think about artisticfreedom?
Jay Franze (13:16):
I know we talked
about it a little bit with AI.
We also talked about it withpolitical views, right.
Tiffany Mason (13:21):
Mm-hmm.
Jay Franze (13:26):
I mean, my stance is
if that's what you're into and
that's what you want to standbehind, then by all means do it.
But if you're a commercialartist selling commercial music
and all of a sudden you take aleft turn to promote something
that's completely out of whack, that to me is it's off recording
(13:48):
labels.
Tiffany Mason (13:49):
Shy away from
things like that.
So this is just a countrytennessee duo.
I don't know who they work with.
I don't know how they got ontoday in nashville, but if it
was I don't know eric church, would they put parameters around
him to not be leaning, or youknow what I mean.
Like, do they have to kind ofstay on the straight and narrow?
Jay Franze (14:10):
well, it depends on
the artist.
I mean, eric church is probablya bad example because he goes
out on his own.
I mean, that's what he's knownfor.
But yeah, the label tries toguide you, they try to give you
advice, they try to to make youfit a mold that they're creating
.
Tony Scott (14:25):
And.
Jay Franze (14:25):
I know this is
probably the unpopular stance
when you're talking about this, but it is the music business and
record labels are businesses.
They are the ones that havebeen around for years.
The artists are typically new, they're new to the business.
They're new to all of this.
They might have talent, butthey're relying on that record
(14:45):
label to truly run the businessin most cases.
Yes, you can do all these thingsyourself, but it's a lot harder
and it's going to take a lotmore time and you're going to
have to learn a lot more thingson your own.
But, the labels are usually theones that truly know how to
make the business work.
So, yes, the label will guidethe artist as much as they can.
(15:06):
And an artist will put thatreputation at risk if they
choose to go against the wishesof that label.
But if they went against thelabel's wishes and it was
successful, the label will bejust fine with it Because, at
the end of the day, it's aboutbusiness.
It's not.
It's would be just fine with itBecause, at the end of the day,
it's about business.
It's not about whatever themessage was.
Tiffany Mason (15:30):
Yeah, makes sense
.
Jay Franze (15:33):
I mean, if you think
about back to the Dixie Chicks
when they became political orthey made their statement, then
a lot of people in Nashvillethey were driving by Sony
records and taking the Dixiechicks CD and throwing them out
on the sidewalk.
You could drive down music rowand there'd be a big giant pile
of CDs on the side of the roadbecause the people were speaking
(15:56):
by taking the product andthrowing it back at the record
label.
So, I'm sure that backlash wasbad for the relationship between
them and the label, where ifeverybody was raising the flag
and saying hell yeah, then thelabel would probably be saying
you're a genius, let's go.
Tiffany Mason (16:18):
Got it.
Well, we have Radiohead reunionhints, so this was a fun story
for me to read and I didn't knowthis before.
So Radiohead, theGrammy-winning art rock band,
has sparked excitement byregistering a new business
entity, rook 25, last week.
(16:39):
So this move I guess thatthey've done this before.
They let's see here.
It echoes the past patternsbefore releasing albums like A
Moon-Shaped Pool in 2016 and InRainbows in 2007.
Fans speculating about newmusic or a tour, though it could
also be tied to side projectslike the Smile, given the
(16:59):
involvement of all core members, and then it lists who they are.
So I thought that was kind ofinteresting.
That it's like when you knowthat permits have been pulled to
have a building put in placeand people are like wait, we got
wind that a Chick-fil-A iscoming on this road or whatever.
That's kind of what it made methink of is that?
(17:20):
I think that's kind of geniusthat they registered this new
business and what does it mean?
And it's got their fans allexcited.
Jay Franze (17:28):
That is pretty cool.
It's funny they use Chick-fil-Aas the example at work today.
I heard a bunch of peopletalking.
They go oh no, we got aChick-fil-A.
We have a Chick-fil-A in ourneighborhood.
Tiffany Mason (17:49):
I live in an area
where neighborhoods could be
like three houses some fact thatsomebody's talking about having
a Chick-fil-a is funny to me.
During COVID we actually hadthe coolest thing.
They'd come into ourneighborhood, they would set up
a table and some people wouldlike pre-place an order that I
think that was only if youwanted, like their 20 chicken
nugget piece thing, butotherwise they would just come,
they'd put up literally, like, literally, like a plain Jane
table, like a card table, nocover, no nothing.
They'd just show up with one oftheir little hot bags, they'd
(18:10):
unzip it and you could get achicken sandwich, the chicken
nuggets and maybe fries.
There was just a few offerings, but none of the restaurants
were open or anything.
So it was a way for therestaurant to generate income
and it was a way for theneighborhoods to have something
other than the crappy food thattheir mom cooked Mom's home
cooking.
Some of the meals that I make,my family would say, ooh, mom's
(18:35):
cooking.
And some of the food that Imake is just edible.
Jay Franze (18:40):
It's also, ooh,
mom's cooking.
Tiffany Mason (18:44):
So my husband is
in my phone as Prince Charming
and it's kind of the same thing.
Oh cool, yes, where when he'scalling, I'm like, ooh, it's
Prince Charming.
And then other times when hecalls and I'm mad at him, I'm
like, oh, mm-hmm, it's PrinceCharming.
You know, like there's a dualmeaning.
Jay Franze (19:07):
Well, let me tell
you my wife is in the in my
phone as the best wife ever andever is, in all caps because she
put it in the phone that way.
Yeah, and we discussed my beinganal the other day yeah so I
went back and changed it to.
You know, jennifer, franzy, she, yeah, she got mad.
So I said fine.
I put it back.
But now, when I'm in the carwith a client or I'm doing
(19:28):
anything, I'm driving down theroad.
Tiffany Mason (19:35):
it's like can you
call the best wife ever?
Jay Franze (19:35):
Yeah, I would say it
louder, but I don't want the
phone to pick up.
Right right right, but yeah, sonow I got to say that, or read
my latest text from the bestwife ever.
Tiffany Mason (19:44):
Yeah, to say that
.
Or you know, read my latesttext from the best wife ever.
Yeah, well, my ringtone for myhusband used to be bach bach,
bach, bach, bach, bach, bach.
So when I was calling him, that's what he would get.
I was like that is not nice, you take that ringtone off.
He's got prince charming andI've got bach bach, bach, bach,
bach bach makes sense.
Jay Franze (20:02):
I can hear it right
now.
Tiffany Mason (20:05):
So now I'm in his
phone is just the wife, which I
will take that.
It does not offend me at all.
Okay, queen's potential newmaterial.
On March 19th Brian may confirmthat there is a quote unquote
real possibility of queenreleasing new music, which this
gets me so excited.
This follows years ofspeculation since their last
original work with freddiemercury and knight was in 1991.
(20:28):
Reports suggest that this couldinvolve archived recordings or
fresh contributions from may androger taylor exciting fans of
the legendary rock band.
I do not know may and rogertaylor.
Do you know these names?
Jay Franze (20:42):
yes, Taylor, do you
know these names?
Yes, ma'am.
Tiffany Mason (20:44):
You do Tell me
more.
Jay Franze (20:46):
Original members of
the band Queen.
Tiffany Mason (20:50):
Oh, okay, okay,
well then that makes sense, but
why does it say exciting fans ofthe legendary rock band?
Jay Franze (20:58):
The legendary band
Queen.
Yes, they're going on withoutFreddie Mercury.
Tiffany Mason (21:02):
I know the band
is legendary, but why is it
calling them fans?
I don't like it.
I don't like this press release.
I don't like it.
We should fire them.
Oh yeah, they're fired.
Jay Franze (21:11):
We don't have enough
buttons to fire all these
people.
We can only fire you.
Tiffany Mason (21:17):
It makes me feel
very empowered to think we could
fire somebody else, though, because I'm always the one
getting fired.
Jay Franze (21:22):
That's true.
You are always the one gettingfired.
Tiffany Mason (21:24):
I want someone
else to get fired.
Yeah, anyway, that could bevery exciting.
Did you see the Freddie Mercurymovie?
I actually saw it in theater.
I thought it was pretty good.
Jay Franze (21:36):
I may have seen it.
Tiffany Mason (21:38):
I think I've
decided I'm going to watch more.
I guess maybe it's called arockumentary.
Or is it a biopic?
It might be a biopic.
Oh my gosh, I was listening toour episode and I mispronounced
it twice Biopic.
I was laughing at myself.
If you guys didn't hear it, yougot to go back and listen,
(22:00):
because clearly I've never heardthe term before, so I didn't
realize this was a history show.
I've learned so many thingsthat are old.
Jay Franze (22:10):
I don't know if it's
intended to be.
It's just the fact that I'm oldand you don't know much.
So there you go.
Tiffany Mason (22:19):
I'm learning,
though.
Every day learning, learning.
That's what you're supposed todo.
Every day, you learn somethingnew.
You never stop learning.
Speaking of, never stoplearning, learning that's what
you're supposed to do Every daylearning something new.
You never stop learning.
Speaking of, never stoplearning.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famehas announced an immersive
Saturday Night Live 50thanniversary exhibit so you can
go in and learn all about SNL.
Jay Franze (22:38):
They're not going to
put me in glass, are they?
Tiffany Mason (22:42):
I don't know, but
I've been thinking about that.
That would have been so cool Tohave you in glass watching you.
Jay Franze (22:48):
Remaster those tapes
.
It would be so cool to have youin glass, like you're a little
prison cell.
Tiffany Mason (22:55):
No, like Would I
get a lunch break.
Jay Franze (22:58):
Do you put a little
rope around the area?
I mean, how's it work?
Tiffany Mason (23:01):
Yes, you get the
red velvet rope.
This is high.
How many, how many hours do?
Jay Franze (23:07):
you have to work the
whole time they're open.
Do you sleep there?
Do you get to go home?
I have so many questions youget to go home.
Tiffany Mason (23:14):
You can't have
any beverages, though, not even
water, because you couldn't berepping a brand unless they pay.
Maybe they pay for productplacement.
Then you got a dasani in thereor something right, because you
can't have.
Jay Franze (23:26):
You can't pepsi in
there coca-cola's water oh well,
whoever's water you know theonly water that puts salt in it
I did not know that.
Tiffany Mason (23:36):
I wonder why you
know that, jay nothing better to
do with my life things we learnalong the way again, never,
never stop learning.
Anyway, the exhibit is supposedto be opening this spring,
spotlighting rock performancesfrom legends like Bowie, prince
to modern acts like BillieEilish and Billie Eilish okay,
(23:58):
sorry, it's a nod to rockculture footprint.
Billie Eilish came on the radiothe other day and I was like
loving whatever the song was andI looked at my dash and it said
Billie Eilish and I was like,oh, I like a Billie Eilish song.
There you go and it made methink of your daughter.
Jay Franze (24:15):
My daughter loves
her.
I don't know why, but she lovesher.
Tiffany Mason (24:18):
Yeah, well, I was
happy that I could actually
hear the words.
So it made me happy because thesongs a few songs that have
made the radio from her.
I feel like she's justwhispering under the music and I
just I hate it.
It's like a secret.
What could the song possibly be?
I don't like it, I don't likeit and I don't like breaking up.
Do you like breaking up, jay?
Jay Franze (24:41):
It depends on who
it's with.
I mean, if you're telling meyou're going to take my wife
away from me, we might havesomething to talk about tonight
If she's listening.
It's just a joke.
Just a joke.
Tiffany Mason (24:54):
I always have to
check to see what time it is
when I make some of these jokes,it don't matter if she's
listening tomorrow.
Fair enough, I suppose, whenthe episode's released.
Jay Franze (25:03):
So is this a
transition into our question of
the day?
Tiffany Mason (25:06):
It is a
transition into our question of
the day.
Jay Franze (25:09):
All right, I like it
.
So we're going to transitioninto our question of the day
which is your favorite breakupsong?
Now, to be fair, it saysfavorite breakup song.
It doesn't have to be a songthat specifically spells out a
breakup.
It doesn't have to be a songthat specifically spells out a
breakup.
It doesn't have to be a songabout a breakup.
It just has to be your favoritesong that you use to get you
(25:33):
through the breakup.
Tiffany Mason (25:34):
Yes.
Jay Franze (25:36):
So I'll start with
one of my favorite songs.
Probably shouldn't start withthis, but I like a band called
Five Finger Death Bunch.
Tiffany Mason (25:50):
Yep, yep.
Jay Franze (25:52):
They have a song
called Burn MF.
Tiffany Mason (25:56):
I was recently
exposed to this song.
Jay Franze (25:59):
It seems like it
would be fitting for a breakup.
Tiffany Mason (26:02):
Yeah, I think so,
because you would have a lot of
rage.
Jay Franze (26:05):
you might have a
little bit of rage to go on
there.
I don't know.
I always think of that songthat if I were a fighter going
into a ring that would be mywalkout song well, my favorite
story about that song is fromyesterday, when I had to drive
down to Orlando.
Tiffany Mason (26:24):
So I was like,
okay, I want to check out.
When Jay was on Caden's showand I wanted to listen to one of
George's songs that he hadposted, and so I pulled it up
and he's talking to Caden andCaden's asking him about.
You know, you're saying FiveFinger Death Punch.
And then you said the song BurnMF and I was like, let me just
check it out.
So you know, in the car, hey, siri, and I asked her to play it
(26:47):
, and I don't know about youguys, but podcasts play super
quiet in my car, so I have toturn like.
Like, if I listen to the radioin my car, I'll have it at like
12, okay, and then I do apodcast.
I've easily got to have it atlike 25, okay.
So it I turn the volume upreally loud and every once in a
while because I'm alwayslistening to podcasts I will
(27:08):
turn the car off, go in, dowhatever, and then when I get
back in the car, I turn the caron and the music is like in my
face, okay.
So I'm like, oh, I should checkthis song out.
So I tell her to play the songand it just comes in hard at me,
scares the living daylights outof me, because it just comes
right at you, like right out ofthe gauge, and I was like, oh my
(27:30):
, god, my wife laughed at me.
Jay Franze (27:34):
I was in California
and I had a slingshot.
I don't know if you're familiarwith them Three-wheel vehicles.
Tiffany Mason (27:40):
I'm from Iowa.
Jay Franze (27:41):
Okay, fine,
three-wheel vehicles no top.
Oh, oh, oh, the vehicle vehicle, not the actual slingshot
vehicle.
So it's similar to aconvertible.
It's like driving around indoom buggy or something.
But yeah, they're cool I hadone when I was in california and
I was sitting at a lightoutside of my kids dance and
(28:03):
that song came on my playlist.
So it's fairly loud, cause Iget to listen to it loud as I'm
driving with no top and I looknext to me and there's an older
woman.
She's just looking at me likehuh and I'm like my wife's, you
know in the car behind me aswe're leaving the dance studio,
just laughing.
So yeah, song brings out thebest of everybody.
Tony Scott (28:24):
So there you go.
Jay Franze (28:24):
It's a little
something for everybody tonight.
Miss Tiffany, my friend, what?
Is your favorite breakup song.
Tiffany Mason (28:32):
Well, it's a
little bit more subdued than
yours.
It's Jewel.
You Were Meant For Me.
That's a great song.
Um, so my boyfriend that I hadin eighth grade, freshman year,
sophomore year and then we brokeup a couple times freshman,
sophomore year, whatever.
So every time we would break upI would play this song and I
(28:55):
just, you know, she gets likevulnerable or kind of like
sentimental.
You know like it strips away alot of the music and she's just
kind of singing or it's likeacoustic almost.
You know like it strips away alot of the music and she's just
kind of singing, or it's likeacoustic almost.
And yeah, I just, yeah, I, Ilike the imagery that she's
talking about and yeah, she'sjust talking about, like you
know, their daily life togetherand how it was.
(29:15):
And then she says you know, Iwas made for you, you were made
for me, and but no, no, notanymore.
Jay Franze (29:23):
But yet we didn't
make it to the finish line.
Tiffany Mason (29:26):
No.
Jay Franze (29:28):
I like Joel.
We should get her on the show.
Joel, if you're listening, youknow, reach out, we'll get you
on the show.
Tiffany Mason (29:34):
We'll cut you to
the front of the line.
We'll make some exceptions, that's how much we like it.
Jay Franze (29:39):
We'll just cut you
to the front of the line, All
right?
Tiffany Mason (29:43):
well, let's take
a look cut you to the front of
the line, all right.
Well, let's take a look.
George says fleetwood mac, goon your way, oh I thought he was
going to say landslide, basedon your own way.
Oh yeah, that's so good.
That's on the record that Ihave of theirs.
I love when it comes on.
Jay Franze (30:07):
Yeah, I'm a big fan
of them I was never a big
fleetwood mac fan.
I know you're fired.
One of the producers I workedwith chas sanford is his name.
He did a lot of work withfleetwood mac and stevie nixon,
so jealous george I'm gonna giveyou two in a row.
Just cuz you put two in a row, phil Collins against all odds.
Tiffany Mason (30:27):
Okay, you can see
that Okay that's a great song
too.
Jay Franze (30:32):
I like, no, I like.
Any to I think and REM pretty, that was never fit a REM.
Tiffany Mason (30:41):
But Phil Collins,
yes, I think it says you you
know everything he's goingthrough now, but I don't know
what's he going through rightnow.
Jay Franze (30:49):
Getting old oh yeah.
I'm sure he's got somethingwrong with him, but as he gets
older, he's losing the abilityto stand or perform or, you know
, sing and all of the fun things.
Tiffany Mason (31:03):
It's got to be so
hard because it's like their
identity, oh yeah, and then nowit's.
Jay Franze (31:08):
For so long.
Tiffany Mason (31:09):
Yeah, and then
all of a sudden it's just gone.
Jay Franze (31:13):
All right, epic Roxy
.
She says, love hurts.
Tiffany Mason (31:19):
Love hurts, it's
a good one.
Jay Franze (31:22):
Yeah, I like it.
Tiffany Mason (31:24):
Mm-hmm.
Jay Franze (31:26):
George is popping
back to Phil Collins here.
He likes the emotions.
It's a huge part of theexplanation.
Tiffany Mason (31:36):
I think that's
what it is with all of the
ballads, or, you know, thebreakup songs that we're
referencing Is there's a lot ofgood emotion in them.
Jay Franze (31:45):
Yeah, yeah, and that
was always a good one.
That was definitely a good one.
Let's see.
Michael says Hard Habit toBreak by Chicago.
Tiffany Mason (31:58):
Oh, yes, you know
.
This is reminding me that whenI met my husband, I had a
boyfriend at the time, but Itold him I was going to go on
the date with my husband now.
So I openly cheated, is whatI'd like to say.
And um, yeah, oh, I lost mytrain of oh, what were we just
(32:25):
talking about?
Chicago?
What was the song?
Jay Franze (32:28):
You cheated on your
husband and flirted with George
last week.
Tiffany Mason (32:32):
Hard habit to
break.
I don't know you guys, I don'tknow Mom brain it's gone.
Tony Scott (32:37):
Tiffany, you're
fired.
Tiffany Mason (32:40):
I deserve that.
Yes, it'll come back to me.
Yes, you do, I guess.
I just wanted to tell you guysthat story.
Jay Franze (32:48):
Epic Roxy has chimed
back in and says don't go by
Casey and the Sunshine man.
Tiffany Mason (32:57):
Oh, it's a little
bit older, I don't know it.
Jay Franze (32:59):
Paul.
Paul says Cry for no One by theBeatles.
Tiffany Mason (33:05):
Oh, I don't know
this one either.
Jay Franze (33:07):
I don't know the
song, but it sounds like a
better message to me.
Tiffany Mason (33:10):
Mm-hmm.
Jay Franze (33:12):
Jay, not this Jay,
but that Jay says.
Had Enough by Mr Big.
Tiffany Mason (33:22):
Hmm, I don't know
who mr big is.
I'm sure I'm supposed to know,but what I?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But what it makes me think ofis mr big from Sex in the City.
Jay Franze (33:31):
That was Carrie's,
not the same boyfriend now, what
I don't understand is I know mrmr big from sex in the city.
Why don't you know mr big, therock band?
Tiffany Mason (33:41):
I feel like I do,
but I can't place it right now.
Jay Franze (33:44):
Help me out, help me
out they are from the the 80s
90s I know why don't?
I know very good, very goodband I remember.
I don't remember the name ofthe song, but I remember being
out at a nightclub, a placecalled the Palace.
It was in.
Tony Scott (34:00):
Saugus.
Jay Franze (34:01):
Massachusetts.
It was a cold, rainy night.
No, saugus, massachusetts, aplace called the Palace.
They had like 12 nightclubs inone complex and they had a piano
bar, a rock bar, country bar,you know all these different
bars and music.
And I met this girl and we weredancing to a song by Mr Big.
(34:21):
And then come to find out as atthe time I thought things were
going well come to find out thiswas her bachelorette party and
she was having her one lastnight.
Tiffany Mason (34:33):
Oh no, what a
lucky guy.
Jay Franze (34:37):
And I've never,
never been the same, since she
chose you.
Is that what I want?
I think the bear probably choseanybody that was in her way.
I don't know, she was cute.
Tiffany Mason (34:52):
Oh, that's crazy.
Jay Franze (34:54):
All right, bruce,
bruce, tarleckky folks, we have
a national supergroup memberhere on the show with us.
He says I will always love you.
Now he says Whitney Houston.
Tiffany Mason (35:10):
I'm going to say
Dolly Parton, oh no, not Dolly
Parton.
No, I cannot support that.
Jay, no, no, noon, no, I cannotsupport that.
Jay, no, no, no, no no.
No, bruce is right.
Bruce knows what's up.
Jay Franze (35:27):
Yes, Dolly wrote the
song.
She feels the song, I don'tcare, she emotes the song.
Tiffany Mason (35:32):
Whitney that
tender vibrato?
No, Whitney gets it.
Jay Franze (35:37):
I'll give you that
high C or whatever that note is.
She hits during that song.
I mean great, yes, talent-wise,she's got it, just as a person
or I just never got into her.
Tiffany Mason (35:50):
Yeah, but even
the beginning of that song, like
when Dolly does it, it's kindof like whiny country or like
old country, you know, like thatreal twangy, I don't know I
don't like it.
And then Whitney comes in withthat sultry, you know, it's just
like it's just haunting, it'sjust ripping her heart out.
Dolly's just performing a song.
Jay Franze (36:13):
Remember, Dolly
wrote the song.
Tiffany Mason (36:16):
Don't care, I
side with Bruce.
Bruce was right Way to go,bruce.
Jay Franze (36:20):
I don't know, I
don't know if I could do that.
Tiffany Mason (36:26):
We're going to
have to agree to disagree.
Men are from Mars, women arefrom Venus, although maybe Bruce
is from Venus with me.
Jay Franze (36:33):
I'm a little further
out than that, but you know,
the longer I live, the more Irealize there must be some rings
around Venus.
All right, stephen, I stillwant to say Stefan every time I
see it spelled this way.
But Stephen, he says LimpBizkit, my Way or the Highway.
Tiffany Mason (36:54):
I don't know this
song.
Jay Franze (36:55):
I know Limp Bizkit
but I don't know this song, I
know limp biscuit, but I don'tknow that song.
I would sing it to you, but doit.
I bet you can't.
I definitely cannot say but yesyeah, that's a good choice,
steven.
Tiffany Mason (37:07):
I like your
choice okay, I'm gonna look it
up I'm gonna be playing that fortiffany tonight oh, breaking up
is hard to do, is it, though itseems like this would be pretty
easy.
Jay Franze (37:21):
Oh, misty says
Shatter by Meredith Brooks.
You don't know Meredith Brookseither, do you?
Tiffany Mason (37:29):
no she sings the
song called oh man, I know Crazy
by Buck Cherry, but I don'tknow, that's a great song well,
whatever, that is a strippersong.
For sure, it's right up therewith nickelback but yes write
down meredith brooks okay, meredith brooks, she's going in
(37:52):
his homework, she's a goodartist and, if I remember
correctly, there's's only onealbum.
Was she a one-hit wonder?
Jay Franze (38:00):
Possibly, I wouldn't
quite say one-hit wonder.
I don't think the hit was allthat big of a hit and there may
have been a couple songs inthere, but freaking pen that's
dry, Meredith Brooks right.
Meredith Brooks Break me, shakeme by savage garden oh, I love
(38:23):
savage also by misty, just so Idon't leave names out now misty,
are you breaking up a lot?
Tiffany Mason (38:31):
apparently she's
got her go-to songs or she had
one bad breakup, and those arethe songs that got her through.
Ooh, ooh.
Can I add another one?
Oh God, speaking of Eric Church, eric Church, that's what we're
talking about, right?
Yes, I did a podcast episode onhis having a record year.
(38:53):
That song the lyrics in thereare freaking genius.
Do you know this song?
I?
Jay Franze (38:59):
do know this song oh
my god.
Tiffany Mason (39:01):
He's counting on
a needle to save him.
He's having a record year.
He oh my god.
He slips in, like all the oldcountry artists, names of the
records that he's listening to.
God, I love that song so much.
That would be that my song,Because he's like you're trying
to get me down.
But he's like I'm listening toall these songs, I'm
rediscovering them and I'mhaving a record year, actually
(39:24):
like vinyl.
Oh, I love that song.
Jay Franze (39:27):
You really did pay
attention to the lyrics.
Tiffany Mason (39:30):
I love that song
and it's because of the lyrics.
Jay Franze (39:34):
All right, you can
stick around a little longer.
Thank you of the lyrics allright, you can stick around a
little longer.
Tiffany Mason (39:44):
Thank you,
credito.
Dina says I can't make you loveme by bonnie right.
Jay Franze (39:49):
Bonnie rate, that's
another good one.
Tiffany Mason (39:50):
Eddie says better
man, better off tracy lawrence
oh, yeah, because I'm leavinghere A better man.
Okay, right, yeah, I wouldn'thave known the song until you
sang it, but of course I knowthe song.
(40:10):
Oh, you didn't know the song, jay.
Jay Franze (40:11):
No, oh, you're fired
.
There's no button for that.
Tiffany Mason (40:14):
Well, we need to
get one.
Jay Franze (40:16):
Okay, I don't know.
We'll have to reach out towhoever's in control.
Tiffany Mason (40:23):
It's gonna be get
your ass out of the studio.
That's.
Jay Franze (40:25):
That's what yours is
gonna be all right, I see how
it is yeah, I missed one.
I missed one.
That's not true.
I've missed quite a few ofthese days.
Robert says mowing down theroses.
Jamie johnson, I have no ideabut you know what?
He put a little rose emoji inthere I like it.
Tiffany Mason (40:49):
I'm a big fan of
those emojis.
We asked our networking groupwhat makes you open an email and
my response was emojis in thesubject line.
Jay Franze (41:00):
Oh man, especially
that damn rocket, they saying
that they would be fine if wejust removed them out of
everything we do these days no,they bring so much joy to me.
Tiffany Mason (41:10):
and if you are
clever enough to put an emoji in
the subject line and like I, Isaid especially the rocket.
I don't know why it's therocket, but the rocket's so cute
and cartoony, I just love it.
Jay Franze (41:21):
That was the one
that they called out and said
they don't want anymore that.
Ai overuses it and everybody'soverusing it.
Tiffany Mason (41:27):
That's true.
That is true, ai loves it, butso does Tiffany Mason.
So whatever.
Let me ask, as long as we'retalking about emojis, what's the
most common emoji you use?
Either the girl that the faceto the palm you know she's like
oh that lady.
(41:47):
And the guy that's laughingwith tears but his head's to the
side and poop.
Jay Franze (41:54):
Poo Poo is actually
chocolate ice cream, but
chocolate ice cream took a badrap.
Yes, mine is the the smilingface, but it's upside down oh
yes, I think I've received oneof those from you why, are you
smiling upside down all the time?
Tiffany Mason (42:15):
why not just a
regular smiley face because you
gotta be different.
You're.
You're upside down, but thetime, why not just a regular
smiley face Because you've gotto?
Jay Franze (42:21):
be different.
You're upside down, but you'rehappy about it.
What is happening?
Why are we choosing an upsidedown?
To me, it's like I don't knowwhat's going on, my whole
world's upside down.
Tiffany Mason (42:25):
Did you see that
there is a new one?
I?
Feel like the hand is.
It's like this and then there'slike a swish on the sides and
it's supposed to be where.
Oh, no, no, no, no hand, butsame thing, but they're.
Jay Franze (42:40):
They're supposed to
be bowing wait, no, that was an
emoji.
No, um, that was my kid.
What was he?
Oh, he's playing video.
Tiffany Mason (42:46):
I don't know no,
it just didn't have the saluting
hand, but it still had the face.
But it kind of had like bowright, but I didn't know what it
was, it's new, and I was likewhat is going on?
And then I found out throughthe grapevine, aka my younger
(43:08):
children, that one of them has areally bad connotation.
So one of the smiley facespeople.
So just be careful what smileyface you use.
Okay, if it's like the painful, like kind of like a whining,
let's, let's not use any ofthose.
Don't do it, coleman, yes.
Jay Franze (43:32):
Emoji says breaking
up is hard to do, neil sadaka
says breaking up is hard to do.
Tiffany Mason (43:41):
Neil sadaka yep,
he's reaching back for that one
sometimes it's like, instead ofbreaking up, you wish that you
were making up.
You know all right no you whatyou did.
You guys just see that, don'tyou know?
The lyrics said Breaking Up isHard to Do Because breaking up
is hard to do.
They say that breaking up ishard to do.
(44:02):
Instead of breaking up, I wishthat we were making up.
I try to make a joke.
You're fired Tonight.
You're fired.
Jay Franze (44:10):
Maybe your joke just
didn't land, it's alright.
Tiffany Mason (44:15):
Okay, caden,
bruce, I want to.
I want to know George did myjoke land or did Jay flatten it
out?
I think he like a freakingpancake that could be.
That could be as well do youwant some syrup to go with that
pancake?
Jay Franze (44:31):
all right, I
normally read the names here,
but this one is a little longerthan most.
It's more like a phrase.
Deadline nearing inbox reviewneeded.
Tiffany Mason (44:44):
Okay.
Jay Franze (44:44):
Deadline nearing,
inbox review needed and the song
is Hit the Road Jack.
Tiffany Mason (44:50):
Huh yeah, man, I
wish that when you broke up you
really felt I mean, I guess, ifyou're the one breaking up with
them, maybe you feel that way.
I feel like I was always brokenup with.
Jay Franze (45:01):
George, really buddy
, really George.
This is two weeks in a row.
I thought we had something.
Tony Scott (45:06):
Yes.
Jay Franze (45:08):
I thought we had
something, George.
Tiffany Mason (45:10):
Y'all.
George says it landed, so doyou want some syrup with that
pancake, Anthony?
Jay Franze (45:20):
Oh God, Anthony says
F you, but it's an actual song.
He's not just saying that toour question.
This is by Wheeler Walker Jr,Just saying that to our question
.
This is by Wheeler Walker Jrand if you're familiar with
(45:43):
Wheeler Walker Jr, he has somevery colorful titles for his
songs.
Jessica Renee, if you arefamiliar with Carried Away, she
is the lead vocalist of CarriedAway and she is here to say All
Too Well by Taylor Swift.
Tiffany Mason (46:00):
Oh, if you like
that song, I did a podcast
episode on it and the girl thatpicked it was a Swifty from
before.
It was cool to be a Swifty.
She chose the 10-minute version.
Jay Franze (46:11):
It's my daughter's
favorite too.
Tiffany Mason (46:13):
Yeah, but it's
true, like all of her song has
such meat in it.
I love the um.
You need to calm down.
You know it was popular for awhile, but if you think about
all the words in there it's likeit must've taken all night for
you to make that sign.
Why are you so mad when youshould be glad?
You know?
(46:33):
And she's referencing the groupGLAAD.
I love her lyrics to her songsbecause there is so much depth
to them.
Plus, they're fun and they kindof roll off your tongue.
But that is such a good songthat All Too Well song.
I loved it.
I had not heard it before.
I liked a lot of the other ones.
I tend to go towards moreupbeat songs, so if it's a
(46:55):
little bit of a slower song I'llusually bypass it, and so I'm
sure I bypassed it at some point.
But that interview made me goback and listen to it and I
loved it.
So if you want to check it out,it's memories of the beat and
it will just say all too well,10 minute version.
Priscilla burks and we had agreat conversation about it and
I agree with her.
It's a good song there you go.
You have my endorsement.
Jay Franze (47:16):
George.
There's another one in thebreakup song.
I mean pretty direct with that.
It's by Greg Ken.
Do you know who Greg Ken is?
Tiffany Mason (47:23):
I don't, but I
feel like I know this song.
Jay Franze (47:25):
I'm sure you do.
It was a popular song.
Tony Scott (47:27):
Yeah.
Jay Franze (47:28):
Greg Ken is a great
artist from the 80s.
Tiffany Mason (47:32):
Another one from
the 80s Yep.
Jay Franze (47:40):
Add it to your list.
Tiffany Mason (47:41):
It's all right, I
get it.
Ann marie says mr sunshine bythe killers.
Jay Franze (47:43):
I don't know the
killers I do know the breakup
song mama nana number four evermama nama, forever I will
survive I, I was five so good, Ithink that's what you need.
You need like an anthem yes, Ihave an anthem burn mf.
(48:07):
That's my aunt.
Tiffany Mason (48:09):
I don't and a
walk-up song.
Jay Franze (48:11):
This is when you
join the ufc to pick that song
as my anthem and my walk-up songand everything out of all the
songs I've listened tothroughout the years and the
artists I've listened to.
This is not a goodrepresentation of that catalog
of music, but for whateverreason, that song just hypes me
up.
Tiffany Mason (48:27):
I think if I was
going to go to the gym and work
out, I'd like that song.
I like more aggressive musiclike that when I'm going to go
work out.
Well, maybe it would fire youup to like just pummel your
opponent.
You know, maybe that's whatyou're thinking, like it would
just bring out your animalinstinct to just that was just
destroy the enemy.
Jay Franze (48:47):
Yeah, kate stanton
in the house, kate stanton
amazing singer songwriter.
Tiffany Mason (48:54):
She says somebody
that I used to know now you're
just somebody that I used toknow, somebody she says captures
the feeling perfectly yeah oh,look at this, ready, ready for
this one, get ready for hit mewith your best shot.
Jay Franze (49:14):
No, that's a good
one.
I love Pat Benatar, my brother.
My brother is in the house.
Tiffany Mason (49:23):
Mr Franzi.
Jay Franze (49:25):
How'd you know?
Chad, my brother Chad, is inthe house.
Tony Scott (49:34):
He says Brett Young.
Like I loved you.
Thank you, chad.
Jay Franze (49:36):
Thank you, Chad.
Tiffany Mason (49:38):
Thank you, Chad.
Jay Franze (49:39):
Thank you for the
support, thank you for the love.
Tiffany Mason (49:41):
Thank you for the
support.
Thank you for the love Chadthere you go.
Cindy says before he cheatsyeah, that's a good one.
My mom said that when shecommented on that one on my
social.
Jay Franze (49:58):
Is your mom, kathy.
My mom is Kathy Kathy saysbefore he cheats by one, miss
Carrie Underwood.
Tiffany Mason (50:11):
I know.
Jay Franze (50:12):
May as well be
formal.
Tiffany Mason (50:17):
Do you remember
on the podcast that I said every
time the storm song comes ontill it's all blown away?
You know, back here in the wood, but I always think it's two
black Cadillacs.
Jay Franze (50:27):
Yes, do that.
Tiffany Mason (50:28):
Yes, okay.
So my daughter, her school teamhas been done with cheer and
now her like extra team isstarting their competitions and
they got their dance music andtheir team name is storm and
they have part of that freakingcarry underwood song.
I'm like dang it, because everytime it starts I always think
(50:55):
it's going to be two blackcadillacs and I get so excited
because I I love how vindictivethe wives are.
They've done him wrong, butthey slip something in his drink
that no one's ever going tofind out about and gone Love it.
These women get totalvindication.
They're not breaking up,they're burying him.
They're tossing some roses onhis grave, they smile at each
(51:19):
other and just walk away.
I love it.
Jay Franze (51:22):
I love those songs.
I mean, she does a great job,mm-hmm.
Two more, okay.
Yes, one of them is Mina orMina, which one is it?
Tiffany Mason (51:33):
Mina.
Jay Franze (51:35):
She says July, by
Noah Cyrus.
Tiffany Mason (51:39):
I don't know it,
but I think she had another one.
I think I know that one.
Jay Franze (51:43):
I'm glad we halted
everything for that.
That's homework for both of us.
And then Cry Me a River byJustin Timberlake.
Tiffany Mason (51:52):
Yeah, I love
Justin Timberlake.
This is still.
Jay Franze (51:55):
Mina, so I just
figured I'd mention that because
I don't want to be naming like16 more songs.
Tony Scott (52:03):
And have somebody
say you said there was two.
Jay Franze (52:05):
This is.
Mina, Mina's you know a littlegreedy with her comments here,
but you know we're all off to go.
Justin Timberlake.
He was a very nice guy.
I had a chance to work with himonce in Nashville oh cool, he
was a big, wise ass.
So we get along very wellbecause of that he made a wise
ass crack about me and I madeone right back to him.
(52:26):
Those were the very firstcomments we made to each other.
Were his wise ass comments, ohmy goodness.
And people looked at us likethey thought there was going to
be a problem and we just bothlaughed.
And it was funny.
Tiffany Mason (52:39):
Oh my gosh,
that's super cool.
You guys could just read eachother's energy, or something.
Jay Franze (52:42):
Yeah, good times.
Tiffany Mason (52:44):
I love knowing
that about him because of his
work on Saturday Night Live andjust you know him as an artist.
Jay Franze (52:51):
He's a funny dude,
just in general.
He's got a good sense of timing.
He's got a good sense of timing.
He's very good, yeah, Iremember the first time I picked
him up.
What did he say to me?
Oh, are you driving, miss Daisy?
I looked at him.
I'm like you realize that wouldmake you Miss Daisy, right?
(53:12):
He was a funny dude.
Tiffany Mason (53:14):
Oh my gosh,
that's funny.
Jay Franze (53:16):
Anyways, mina has
one more.
She says when I Was your man byBruno Mars.
Tiffany Mason (53:20):
When I was your
man.
I love that song too, so good, kind of sticking it to him.
He's saying I didn't treat youright, and so whoever is your
man now, I hope he's doing thosethings that you wanted, and I
wish I would have done them whenI was your man.
See, that seems like someonewho doesn't want to be breaking
(53:43):
up.
The guy didn't want it, butmaybe she broke up with him.
Jay Franze (53:44):
So they're still
breaking up, but he's resisting
and he's one of during thosetimes you have to remember the
rings around what, what planetwas.
Tiffany Mason (53:51):
We say Mars, mars
, mars, the rings that we did
not know existed around Mars.
Jay Franze (53:57):
Remember that every
time somebody wants to bring up
All right, david says I'm sorry,I didn't know what I was
supposed to do here.
Tiffany Mason (54:07):
That's awesome.
Jay Franze (54:09):
To be fair, that
makes perfect sense, David.
Tony Scott (54:13):
Yes.
Tiffany Mason (54:13):
We don't know
what we're supposed to do here
either.
Sorry, I didn't know what I wassupposed to do here.
Tony Scott (54:20):
That one made my
night.
Jay Franze (54:21):
There you go.
Alright, move on to yourentertainment news.
Tiffany Mason (54:29):
Okay.
On March 18th, tina Fey and AmyPoehler launched their podcast.
Good Hang, tina Fey.
Okay, she's okay for me.
Amy puller I really like amypuller and we watch a lot of
parks and rec because you likethe segment disturbingly hot no,
sir, yeah, no, not to my eyes.
(54:52):
No, these baby blues don't getit disturbingly like.
Jay Franze (54:55):
She's not
traditionally hot.
She's like one of those people.
It's her humor.
She's good looking.
I like her.
Tiffany Mason (55:03):
Do you think it's
because you know?
In the bedroom she's likebossing, she's like the
dominatrix, because you know herin the bedroom.
Jay Franze (55:08):
No, I don't know her
in the bedroom?
Tiffany Mason (55:10):
Where's the?
Jay Franze (55:10):
conversation going.
Tiffany Mason (55:20):
Babe, if you're
listening, she doesn't know what
she's talking about.
I'm just thinking like when yousay disturbing, I think that's
where it not traditional she'snot traditionally hot, maybe
it's her humor and stuff butshe's a beautiful woman the
beauty is in the eye of thebeholder.
Jay Franze (55:32):
No, she's beautiful.
My opinion matters, it's acrossthe board.
If I think it, you have tothink it too.
Tiffany Mason (55:40):
Okay, fair enough
.
It's like I tell my husbandnothing's my fault, so whatever
happens, it's your fault, george.
Jay Franze (55:45):
Tina Fey is she hot.
Tiffany Mason (55:49):
Well, I said, amy
Poehler would excite me,
because we watch a lot of.
Jay Franze (55:53):
Parks and Rec yes,
we all have our thoughts.
Tiffany Mason (55:59):
I like that show
a lot.
I like Chris Pratt and I likethe woman who plays his wife,
april, which she's kind ofbecome famous now too, but I
don't know what her real name is.
But yeah, I like a lot of thecharacters on that show.
What I was really excited totalk about was what was coming
up next.
I don't know if you know thecomedian Whitney Cummings.
First of all, I freaking loveher.
Of course I know the comedianWhitney Cummings, okay, and she
(56:27):
supposedly like co-creator Emmy, winning sitcom Two Broke Girls.
But really what I like her fromwas the autobiographical series
Whitney.
I don't know if you watched it.
It was so good and I love.
What is the guy's name name, chris?
It's like Diometro or somethinglike that.
But he has a skit where he'stalking about girls getting
drunk and he's like, once theystart drinking they're like I, I
don't even know I it was, itwas even matter, and I think
(56:51):
it's hilarious.
So every time I want to say, like what does it even matter?
I go to reference that, butthen I realize other people
don't know it and then you knowit's not nearly as fun.
But, um, she is on her secondyear of her tour big baby after
recently welcoming her firstchild.
So I think it was, you know,pre-baby and now it's post-baby
and I'm sure there's a lot ofmaterial now.
Jay Franze (57:15):
I am a fan of hers,
don't get me wrong.
Yes, I do like her, but I haveto be in the mood for it.
She's a little too over the topat times.
Tiffany Mason (57:26):
Okay, I'll take
her all the time, no problem.
No Right, you guys see how he'stwisting my words.
It's me.
Jay Franze (57:36):
It's me, I'm
twisting it.
Tiffany Mason (57:40):
He's making faces
, you guys, and insinuating
things.
Jay Franze (57:44):
Sounds just like me,
doesn't it?
Move on.
Tiffany Mason (57:46):
What's next?
Okay, well, I was really proudto read this that Jacksonville,
jacksonville, florida, justnorth of me about 20, 20 minutes
the comedy scene isexperiencing growth, with
Mayport emerging as a hot spotfor stand-up performances,
comedic events and attractingboth local and national talent.
I'm kind of surprised by thisMayport situation.
(58:09):
Mayport, so there's likeJacksonville, and then just
north of it is one of the armybases and it's mayport, and so
it's kind of like this littlecity in and of itself.
It's kind of this little Idon't know arm of jacksonville
per se.
Yeah, so it's.
It's just not very likedeveloped.
There's not a whole bunch ofhotels, there's not a whole
(58:30):
bunch of like you know, upscalebars or any of that kind of
stuff.
So I am going to scour the nets.
I'm going to scour the net andsee where these people are
performing, because I'm veryintrigued where this is
happening, because I'm a big fanof laughing and I wouldn't mind
(58:51):
finding more places to laugh.
Jay Franze (58:53):
That's kind of
exciting Big stand-up fan.
Tiffany Mason (58:56):
I am a big
stand-up fan.
I have only been one time, butI like to catch it on TV.
I know it's not the same, butI've had little kids up until
this point and grandparents.
We sometimes live bygrandparents and we sometimes
didn't.
It gets to be an expensivenight if you pay for babysitters
, plus eating out, plus thetickets to the show, plus if
(59:16):
you've got to take an Uber orwhatever to the show, or just
gas.
Jay Franze (59:19):
Yeah, 26 drink
minimum and all that stuff yeah,
yeah, are you a big stand-upfan?
I am.
I used to perform in Vegasdoing stand-up Of course you did
.
Tiffany Mason (59:31):
Of course you did
.
Yes, oh, my goodness, you're aman of many talents.
Jay Franze (59:36):
I'm a man that's old
, that's all it is, so I don't
know, the older you are, themore things you've done.
Tiffany Mason (59:43):
It's just that
simple yeah, but I don't feel
like you ever do somethingsubpar I don't like I feel like
right.
So you're a man of many talents.
That's what that means.
Just say yes, I am, thank am.
Jay Franze (59:55):
Thank you, own it.
Yes, I love you.
Thank you for your compliments.
Tiffany Mason (59:59):
George says we
need to hear some Guess.
Jay Franze (01:00:00):
What Buddy Not
happen?
Tiffany Mason (01:00:03):
Wait, tell them
what you told me today about
when you were driving and therewas hay.
Jay Franze (01:00:07):
Really, that's what
you want to hear.
Tiffany Mason (01:00:11):
You want to hear
some of his bit, George?
Here it comes.
Jay Franze (01:00:18):
This is not any of a
bit.
George, here it comes.
This is not any of a bit, but Iwill tell you.
I was driving down the road andthere was this truck in front.
I mean it had about 10 bales ofhay, those big round bales of
hay, and just stacked on thetruck and it was wait a minute,
find the drum, find the drumbutton.
Tiffany Mason (01:00:31):
Really are that
do you have, but I'm sure I do.
Jay Franze (01:00:34):
Okay, find that
first all right you have, but um
, I'm sure I do.
Okay, find that first.
All right, I can't promise I'mgonna hit the right buttons
you're building this up to.
Tiffany Mason (01:00:45):
It's a stupid dad
joke and you're building it up
so good, it's so good anyways, tractor trailer in front of me
about 10 bales of hay orwhatever.
Jay Franze (01:00:51):
It is the big round
bales of hay on the truck and I
said do you realize that they'remaking these round bales of hay
illegal?
She's like what do you mean?
I they're making these roundbales of hay illegal.
She's like what do you mean?
I said well, a cow can't get asquare meal.
Okay, there you go.
Tiffany Mason (01:01:09):
There's your
stupid ass dad joke.
It's your stupid ass dad jokethat you won me.
Jay Franze (01:01:13):
That I really like
it that you tortured George with
.
That's what I'm saying.
You made George listen to that.
Tony Scott (01:01:21):
Anyways, my time in
Vegas was a good time.
Jay Franze (01:01:24):
But since then, now
being in this neck of the woods,
I've continued to go to shows, and there's maybe two or three
venues around where I live.
One of them is the high-endcomedians that come through town
.
One of them is open mic stylestuff.
I went to one of the open micnights one night in the new
style of comedy that's out thereright now is, as you've
(01:01:47):
probably seen, on Tik TOK, andeverything is a lot of crowd
work.
People like they don't show youtheir jokes, they show you
their crowd work.
Tiffany Mason (01:01:54):
Yeah.
Jay Franze (01:01:55):
And let's just say,
when you're a new comedian,
crowd work might not be the bestway to go because it can be
rough.
Tiffany Mason (01:02:05):
A lot of pancakes
.
Jay Franze (01:02:08):
Yeah, it could flop
a little.
Tiffany Mason (01:02:11):
Yeah, they could
fall flat and it could get
sticky with the syrup.
Jay Franze (01:02:14):
George liked the
round ballet.
Tiffany Mason (01:02:18):
See, I knew he
would.
I didn't torture him.
Jay Franze (01:02:21):
Yeah, also remember,
I have three little three girls
.
I would say little, they're notall little One's turning 15.
But the rest of them are littleyou got to keep up with the
routine.
The rest of my army.
Tiffany Mason (01:02:35):
Okay, well, we
talked about Jacksonville, where
I live.
Now I'm going to skip toMinneapolis.
They're having a comedyfestival.
It's returning for the-.
Jay Franze (01:02:43):
It's where you used
to live.
Tiffany Mason (01:02:44):
Right, they're
having a comedy festival.
It's returning for you used tolive, right.
I was gonna say that, yes, um,returning for the third year
steal your thunder yeah, yeah, you did, yeah, you did.
Okay, we're gonna start overnow.
We have to start over.
Jay Franze (01:02:53):
Okay, let's rewind,
okay we are coming at you live.
I am jay franzy and okay.
Tiffany Mason (01:03:03):
So minneapolis
comedy festival, returning for
the third year with JamieKennedy, emo Phillips and more
and yes, that's what I was goingto say.
That's where I used to live, soit makes total sense that
comedy is basically following me, so started in Minneapolis.
I think we only got to go toone stand up there, though, and
we did go to Jerry Seinfeld thatwas a really good show and then
(01:03:24):
down here.
Jay Franze (01:03:25):
Comedy is following
on you and then takes you here
to die.
This is where comedy dies.
Tiffany Mason (01:03:30):
No, we're uphill,
uphill, mayport.
They're experiencing growth,jay, no, okay, that's funny,
george says his grandkids makehim laugh.
And they knew it so cute.
Okay, I don't know this, butI'm going to share it because I
know you know it.
So, bert Kreischer KreischerOkay, he is premiering his
(01:03:54):
latest Netflix special, lucky,this week.
In the LA Times interview onMarch 18th, he credited his
success to luck rather than hardwork.
I think that when you askpeople who are pretty successful
, I feel like a lot of timesthey say it's hard work and luck
.
So I like that they at leastsay that, like you know, timing
(01:04:15):
is everything, kind of oh,timing is everything, even when
you're doing stand-up comedy.
Anyway, sorry, I make myselflaugh a lot.
Okay, yeah, yes, sharinginsights on retaining audience
in the streaming era.
Kreischer also humorously notedthat he'd rather see his
daughter's friend Daisy take upcomedy than his own two kids,
(01:04:38):
who have seen the grind up close.
Tell us about your BFFfriendship with Bert.
Jay Franze (01:04:44):
I do not have one,
but I will tell you some
thoughts on Bert.
Yeah, when I first saw Bertdoing his podcast and doing that
type of stuff and getting toknow him from afar as a fan, I
didn't think he would be allthat funny.
And he came here to the area, kentucky, and I took my wife to
(01:05:05):
go see him and it was one of thebest shows I've seen.
This was in a stadium I mean, this was a in a stadium and he
held that audience right thereon the edge of the seats in a
stadium, an entire stadium fullof people.
He did an extremely good joband I'm sure as part of his act,
but he called his wife duringthe show and he was, you know
just, and I'm sure it was partof his act, but he called his
wife during the show and he wasyou know just the whole thing.
(01:05:27):
He was just destroying hisfamily and the type of humor
that.
Tony Scott (01:05:31):
I like.
Jay Franze (01:05:32):
So it was good.
I liked him, but I don't knowif you're aware of this, have
you?
Tiffany Mason (01:05:39):
ever seen the
movie Van Wilder?
No, nope, don't do it tiffany, you're fired, no this is a big
one.
Jay Franze (01:05:53):
Okay, if you have
not write this one down for sure
, if you have not seen vanwilder it's kind of like
american pie um, it is thatstyle of movie right, and I
don't lampoon, lampoon stylemovie yeah.
You have to watch it.
Tiffany Mason (01:06:07):
It's one of the
best.
Okay, Van Wilder.
Jay Franze (01:06:10):
But it's based on
his life.
It's based on it was BertKreischer's, who the movie's
written after.
Tiffany Mason (01:06:17):
Oh, interesting.
Jay Franze (01:06:18):
And it's his time in
Florida.
Oh, he was going to.
Was it Florida State orUniversity of Florida?
One of those?
I think it was florida state, maybe I don't know, but either
way he was.
He was the, the inspiration tothat okay, well, I'll definitely
check it out.
Tiffany Mason (01:06:37):
Speaking of
comedians performing in a
stadium, do you know dane cook?
Jay Franze (01:06:41):
oh, I do.
Tiffany Mason (01:06:42):
Yes, ma'am okay
another bostonian oh, okay, well
, I must like people from bostonbecause I'm big fan, big fan of
dane cook, okay.
So I feel like you always haveone part of the whole show,
right, like you remember bitsand pieces, but one piece stands
out more than others.
And we talked about breakupsongs and dane cook, in one of
(01:07:04):
his whatever sets he was talkingabout, like when you break up
with someone, you know andyou're crying and you're like I
did my best, I did my best andhe's like you've always got.
That one phrase just keepsgoing through your head over and
over and over.
So it made me think of that, because the special that I
watched, dane Cook was in astadium but he had a round so he
(01:07:27):
could, like, walk and, you know, talk to everybody as he
performed, which was veryimpressive, but he's really good
.
Jay Franze (01:07:34):
He is awesome.
I mean he is definitely one ofthe originals who did that style
of comedy and I mean I've gotnothing but respect for him.
I know he gets a bad rap.
He's kind of like theNickelback of comedians, where
everybody loves him but he getsa bad rap like everybody wants
to say they hate him.
Tiffany Mason (01:07:53):
I don't hate him,
won't do it.
Jay Franze (01:07:55):
He got his start on
MySpace.
Tiffany Mason (01:07:57):
Oh really.
Jay Franze (01:07:59):
I took MySpace.
When it came out, he took holdof MySpace and just got millions
and millions of followers, andthat's how he blew up.
Tiffany Mason (01:08:07):
Did you ask him
to give it back to you?
Jay Franze (01:08:10):
I asked him to give
my space back.
Yes, that bastard.
Look at you with the dad jokes.
Now I like it.
Tony Scott (01:08:16):
George says he loves
us both.
Jay Franze (01:08:18):
Well, george, I'm
thankful and feel bad for you at
the same time, I'm glad we cangrace you.
We enjoy having you here, george you are our favorites we
were talking about you todaygeorge, I tell people that I
told some girl at work that Isaid you're my favorite.
She goes.
Yeah, I've heard you tell otherpeople sorry.
Tiffany Mason (01:08:43):
Well, we have had
spring break this week, so I am
in day three and we went to thebeach today and yesterday we
did a starbucks run and the daybefore we went on the golf cart.
We are not doing like a trip oranything like that necessarily
just going down the list ofthings you did throughout the
day no, we did different thingson different days is there?
Jay Franze (01:09:07):
is there a point to
this?
No, not really, you're justlooking down your to-do list and
you're just reading it off tome did laundry, made dinner?
Tiffany Mason (01:09:19):
no more.
My point is like I feel alittle stressed out looking on
social media.
You, you know everybody's ontheir spring break trips and I'm
like, well, we're just likehere hanging out, but we've
really.
I mean, I grew up in Iowa andhonestly, sometimes like, the
more simple the fun, the morefun it actually is.
So, you know, you can spend allthis money and go on these
(01:09:40):
extravagant vacations and haveall these excursions, but at the
end of the day sometimes I feellike we don't connect.
My family and I.
I don't feel like we connect asmuch as when we do the small
things.
So we took a trip out to MountRushmore one year and we stayed
in these little cabins that didnot have running water or
anything for three nights andthen my husband was like I don't
(01:10:01):
know if our family can handleit.
So we booked two nights in ahotel and none of us wanted to
leave the campsite.
We all wanted to stay at thecampsite and so, you know,
sometimes it's those littlethings.
So we've had a lot of fun goingon the golf cart and going to
the beach and, you know, I feellike I've had more genuine
conversations with Hannah than Iwould have had I, you know, had
we been on some some trip doingsomething where you know she
(01:10:24):
goes and does her thing and thenSean and I are doing our thing
or whatever.
So we usually bring a friendwith us, because Hannah's kind
of like an only child now, solots of times she gets to bring
a friend, which of course pullsher away from us, and then we
don't get the quality time, andblah, blah, blah Anyway.
So there's that Coming up.
We have cheer competition thisweekend.
Whoa, whoa, whoa Before we gothis weekend.
Jay Franze (01:10:49):
Oh, whoa, whoa.
Your story made me think of mylast vacation with my family.
Okay, where'd?
You guys go with my parents ohokay, when they were still here.
I'm one of three boys, but I'mthe oldest of the three boys
okay, so makes sense we met chadearlier this evening.
Tiffany Mason (01:11:02):
He is seven years
younger than I oh, that's how
many years are between Hannahand her middle brother.
Jay Franze (01:11:09):
And Craig is the
other brother, the middle child,
who is six years younger than I.
Tiffany Mason (01:11:15):
So six and seven
years younger than me.
Jay Franze (01:11:17):
But my dad said, you
know, when I was about 14, that
I probably wouldn't want to goon too many more family
vacations.
So he booked us a trip toDisney and we liked the resort
we were at so much that wedidn't want to leave the resort.
We didn't care about going toDisney or anything else.
You know, swimming under thewaterfalls and all the things we
had yeah yeah, but I doremember going to the park and
(01:11:40):
we were at Space Mountain and Iam afraid of heights.
Tiffany Mason (01:11:44):
Me too.
Jay Franze (01:11:46):
I don't like any of
this stuff no.
My dad wanted me to go on SpaceMountain.
I said no.
Tiffany Mason (01:11:53):
Mm-hmm.
Jay Franze (01:11:55):
My dad proved to me
just how smart the man was.
He walked up to the mostbeautiful girl in line, uh-huh,
said something to her and walkedaway.
That girl came over to me andsaid will you go on the ride
with me.
Tiffany Mason (01:12:09):
And you went on
Space Mountain and I went on
Space Mountain.
Yes, you did.
I'm proud of you.
Jay Franze (01:12:16):
My dad.
If you're looking down now, Istill remember that, you little
bastard.
Anyways, sorry, I just wantedto throw my two cents.
Tiffany Mason (01:12:23):
No, I too do not
like heights, and this is, it's
not really heights.
But you know, like thatbutterfly feeling, do you know
the, the big pirate ship orwhatever, it swings from side to
side, okay, and you go at thetop and it messes with your
stomach.
And my dad used to always havea company picnic at this place
(01:12:44):
called adventure land in iowaand we would always go on the
galleon, that was the name of itand I would.
And my dad used to always havea company picnic at this place
called Adventureland in Iowa andwe would always go on the
galleon that was the name of it,and I would always sit in the
very middle.
Well, he said yeah, yeah, and hewould say, oh, no, we got to
sit all the way in the back, tiff, we're going to sit all the
way in the back.
So we go in the back and youknow the first couple things,
(01:13:06):
I'm like oh, oh, you know what.
It's swinging back and forth.
And then it like kind of takesoff into the actual scary part
of the ride, you know, and I amscreaming bloody murder.
I am holding on, I am trembling, my whole body is shaking, I'm
screaming loud, I'm ruining theride for everybody on board.
And the operator's like do youwant me to stop it, sir?
Do you want me to stop it?
Jay Franze (01:13:21):
my dad's like nah,
nah, just keep on going, let on
going, let her go, just let hergo.
Tiffany Mason (01:13:25):
And I was like,
oh, and when we got off that
ride he literally had to carry.
He had to pry each finger off,one at a time, and he had to
pick me up and carry me off.
And I was probably 10 years oldand I, to this day, hate that
ride, don't want to go on it, nointerest, I don't want to sit
in the middle, I don't want tosit two rows back, I don't want
to sit in the very end, I don'twant to go.
Jay Franze (01:13:49):
So that is my
heights scary ride story I can
tell you my adult height story, but that'll wait for another day
.
Tiffany Mason (01:13:58):
Remind me one day
if we're ever talking about
death valley or anything okay,my, we are going to be doing a
new cheer team competition thisweekend, so I'm looking forward
to that.
Tomorrow will be a new episodefrom Memories of the Beat Tom
Schilling, and I'm trying toremember what song we talked
about.
I can look it up in a minute, but that's going to come out
(01:14:21):
tomorrow, and now I really wantto know what it was, so you say
something.
Tiffanyiffany, you're fired,goodbye oh, oh, I didn't say
fire me, just saying I can'tremember an interview that you
did on your own I know deserve alittle firing you know there's
(01:14:41):
so much going on all thefreaking time it's like keeping
up with everything.
Jay Franze (01:14:47):
Well, you're looking
your stuff up.
Tiffany Mason (01:14:49):
Yes.
Jay Franze (01:14:49):
I have to go on a
conference next week, or not a
conference, a site visit.
I have to go visit a site anddo an inspection.
It's very exciting stuff Ishould live my life, but it's
down near Nashville, so I wasthinking of going to Nashville
next week and visiting a fewfriends of mine and George says
he's glad he can't get fired yesat least I don't think I can
(01:15:13):
trust me, george.
Tiffany Mason (01:15:14):
Hmm, it could
happen, I might have another
button okay, I looked it up, itwas corduroy, of course.
That's why I didn't think of it.
It's by Pearl Jam.
It's not like one that wouldcome to my head easily.
Jay Franze (01:15:28):
Are you a Pearl Jam
fan?
Tiffany Mason (01:15:30):
Yes, you know how
.
You always ask me about thebands and I never know.
I had a good friend in Chicagoand she was like I love Pearl.
Jay Franze (01:15:37):
Jam.
She's such an asset for a musicshow.
Tiffany Mason (01:15:41):
But how many
lyrics have I known tonight?
Jay Franze (01:15:43):
Who's your agent, by
the way?
Tiffany Mason (01:15:44):
Well, I can't
give you that information.
I've got a bone to pick.
Jay Franze (01:15:49):
I can't give you
that information yes, you've
known songs tonight.
You've known lyrics.
I'll give it to you.
Tiffany Mason (01:15:52):
Yeah.
Jay Franze (01:15:52):
You are the lyric
queen.
Tiffany Mason (01:15:54):
I am the lyric
queen.
I am Jukebox Tiffany.
If there's going to be JukeboxCarrie, there's going to be Juke
anywho.
Yes.
So she said you know, I used tolisten a lot to pearl jam and I
was like, huh, wonder if I likepearl jam.
So I pulled it up, quite a fewof their songs, and I do love
pearl jam.
Jay Franze (01:16:13):
So I like their
their album 10.
The rest of the stuff is okayit's I, it's I yeah, 10 was good
.
I like the song Black.
Tiffany Mason (01:16:25):
I like the song
Black.
I really think that probablyanything by them I would be
happy with, quite honestly, justbecause of it got a little.
Jay Franze (01:16:35):
as Fonzie would say,
it jumped the shark.
In my opinion, Well, thatdoesn't mean much a lot.
That's what it meant to me.
Tiffany Mason (01:16:48):
Yeah Well, the
other thing that I'm super
excited about is, you know, Ihave Memories of the Beat where
I interview somebody about theirsong and then we have where we
go and watch live music, and soon Friday night if you're in the
really Ponte Vedra St Augustinearea I guess Jacksonville too
we're going to be at Pesca's at6 pm and we're going to be
(01:17:09):
watching Vegas Gray.
I'm pretty excited about this.
Actually it's a dad, his sonand his daughter and they play
acoustically.
So I'm interested.
But the Rachel who co-hostswith me is very excited about
this.
So I introduced her to somebodyI was very excited about and
now she's introducing me tosomeone she's very excited about
.
So I'm pretty sure it's notgoing to disappoint, and I
(01:17:31):
probably won't know the bands ofthe songs that they're covering
.
Jay Franze (01:17:34):
Yeah, most likely
not.
It doesn't surprise me at all.
Alright, well, folks, we havenot only reached the top of the
hour, we have blown past the topof the hour.
We are now at the bottom of thehour, which is where our mind
is in the gutter, and thereforewe should leave.
(01:17:56):
So if you've enjoyed the show, please tell a friend, miss
Tiffany, if you have not.
Tiffany Mason (01:18:03):
Tell two.
Jay Franze (01:18:05):

both of us over at jfranzycom,
where we will be happy to keepthis conversation going.
