Joanne Lazzaro is a versatile world-flutist based in Los Angeles, California. She's released four award-winning albums: two solo Native American flute improvisations and two world-premiere recordings of classical-crossover flute chamber music.

For much of his life Randy “Windtalker” Motz has studied Native cultures, history, legends, and the First Peoples' sacred connection with the earth and considers himself Native in spirit. His journey with the Native American flute began in 2000, after being inspired by the playing of Robert Mirabal from the Taos Pueblo.

Joanne currently maintains an active teaching, performing and recording schedule that straddles the fields of classical orchestral concerts, world flute teaching and performing, independent recording artist, and Los Angeles session musician. She's performed in venues ranging from local art shows & farmers markets, to the Crystal Cathedral, Los Angeles Disney Hall, Chicago Symphony Center, and both Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall (New York City). Her positions as Principal Flute of the Beach Cities Symphony Orchestra and member of the Los Angeles Flute Orchestra, as well as other local orchestral calls, keep her busy during the classical concert season. As an orchestral musician, she's shared the stage with artists as varied as CeCe Winans, James Galway, Billy Childs, and Serj Tankian.

Randy has given over 425 live performances and has recorded five successful Native American flute CDs. “Hózhó – Walking in Beauty,” was nominated for “Best Native American Flute CD of 2016” by One World Music Radio (OWMR) and remained on their Top 100 Chart for over six months. The "Awakening" album was voted #2 "Best Flute CD of 2020" and the album "Wind, Water, and Stone" won the "Best Flute Album of 2022" from OWMR.
