In this episode, our host, who himself was homeless at one point, presents a unique perspective on homelessness, attributing some level of comfort to the situation due to social anxiety. He explores the complexities of homelessness, highlighting aspects that weren't as challenging as anticipated while also pointing out the genuine struggles.

He also ventures into the political world, providing an analysis of President Trump's comments on Nikki Haley's husband's military service. He criticizes Trump for making an uninformed inference about the status of Haley's campaign and discusses the fallout caused by the media reporting.

The host's commentary extends to his frustration with certain figures who continuously brag about their intelligence, identifying this behavior as overcompensation. He expresses his distaste for individuals who constantly need to make a point of their smarts, hinting at a potential lack of actual intelligence.

Relating to the world of influencers, he expresses his dissatisfaction with the overused phrase "without further ado" and humorously urges others to just get to the point instead of using cliché statements.

Another discourse includes an analysis of longevity's impact on social security and pensions globally. He emphasizes the urgency to address the issue, arguing against the unrealistic proposal of relying solely on the wealth of the rich to fund these systems.

The discussion shifts to the history of infamous world leaders who have employed tactics such as spreading fake news and blaming particular groups for their countries' problems. This exploration presents a strong argument against the adoption of these manipulative strategies in modern-day political spheres.

Lastly, he shares his disappointment with the show, "The Curse of Oak Island", regretting the time he dedicated to the series. His disenchantment with how the show has unfolded is expressed with a humorous frustration.

Throughout the episode, the host exposes misconceptions, shares historical context, and rallies for a change in societal approach to important issues, all while maintaining a relatable and engaging demeanor.

(00:00):
You know, I hear a lot of solutions out there about homelessness,
and yes, it's something that we should fight.
But many of you know that I was homeless when I was younger,
and this is going to sound really weird, but part of homelessness was very comfortable for me.
And the reason for it is because of my social anxiety.

(00:24):
I didn't realize this at the time, but not having to be around people and associate
with people every single day, it wasn't really that bad.
Now, figuring out what to eat, yeah, bad. Worrying about the weather, yeah, bad.
But the rest was kind of comfortable.

(00:48):
So screaming banner headline is that
trump went after nikki haley's husband's military
service of course that's what you're seeing on all the networks and as usual
the headlines don't match the real story the real story is trump asks where
is nikki's husband he was trying to infer based based upon what I could see,

(01:14):
that he knew her campaign was doomed, so he wasn't even out campaigning for her.
Did he have any idea that her husband was out serving for the National Guard?
No, no. He was being typical Trump. No research, no regard for anything.

(01:34):
Hey, this sounds good. It just popped into my mind. I think I'll say it.
I'm not sure if I did a video on this or not, but this is to fellow influencer.
I guess I'm an influencer. I don't know. I'm just a guy who makes videos.
But can we stop saying something?
Can we stop saying without further ado?

(01:58):
Do we even know what this means? It's like, I'm going to talk about this soda. So without further ado.
Just say, I'm going to talk about this soda.
This soda is very nice because it's Diet Dr. Pepper.
Forget the ado, unless you're talking about Mountain Dew. That's a different story.

(02:23):
I have so given up on the Curse of Oak Island, man.
They had me just chained to the TV for 10 or more seasons.
And look there's just you
know they have you so wound up with the narrator
saying could it be could it

(02:44):
be that this flashlight that was
found under a rock could be sign of the ark of the covenant no it it couldn't
be i just can't believe how much of my life i gave to this show So I'm done,

(03:05):
and I'm quite confident that when they finally find the Ark of the Covenant
or whatever else they're going
to find, I'm pretty sure it'll make the headlines, and I'll watch it then.
So Nikki Haley got into a lot of trouble because she suggested maybe raising

(03:26):
the retirement age for those who are in their 20s right now and when they get older,
because Social Security can't support itself any longer on its current system.
And of course, everybody freaked out and Trump lied about her whole plan.
And I just said, look, we have to do something.

(03:50):
We have more people that are going to be living longer.
That's right. I don't know if you noticed. We're living longer.
So something has to be done.
Well, I just saw this story that internationally in places where they still
offer pensions, they're having this huge problem. Why?
Because people are living longer. This problem is global and we need to find global solutions.

(04:17):
And for those of you who think you can just take the money from the wealthy,
I don't think you understand how much money we're talking about here.
You could you could suck the wealthy dry and still not have enough money.
Can I ask you a question just in your daily life?

(04:38):
Do you ever run into somebody who's always telling you how smart and competent they are?
Maybe you ever run into your life and anybody in your life who like every time
they talk to you, they're like, you know, I'm very smart.
You know, I know more about this than anybody else. You know,
I passed a competency test.

(05:01):
You know, I invented the competency test.
You know, you should ask me because I know more about this than anybody else.
This is what we call overcompensating.
It should be very obvious that the person who is always saying this knows that

(05:24):
they're probably not very smart or they're delusional.
Either way, I don't want to hear it.
Okay, this is going to be a fun quick quiz for you. Just talking about people in history.
They could be people now or people from our past.

(05:46):
In this case, they're going to be world leaders. And I'm looking for world leaders
who did the four following things, okay? OK, they use the words fake news to
destroy trust in the media.
They use the term poisoning the blood of the people. So that would be the second one.

(06:09):
They blamed all of the problems in their country on one or two specific groups of people.
And they wanted to have absolute and total control instead of this whole representative
constitutional kind of thing.

(06:29):
Name the two people in history that I can think of that fit this description.
Fun fact for you, guess who was one of the very first people,
at least in recorded history, to use the term fake news?
Yeah, that's right. Adolf Hitler. Adolf Hitler didn't like the stories that

(06:53):
were being printed about him.
He didn't like that they made him look bad.
So he set out to make the media look terrible.
And he coined the phrase in German, fake news.
And guess what? It worked then. So why not try it again? Seems to be working now.

(07:16):
You know, I did a video a little bit earlier about, have you ever been around
somebody who's always talking about how smart they are?
They just brag every time you talk to them. They're like, I'm so smart about
this. I'm so smart about this.
Nobody does this except for one person that we see on TV all the time.
They're always doing it.

(07:37):
Have you ever known somebody to talk about how beautiful their words are,
how beautiful their letters are, how beautiful their tweets are,
how beautiful their decisions are.
There's two things you can always know about this man.
He thinks he's the smartest person in the room.
How do you know? He's going to tell you. And he thinks everything he does is

(08:02):
beautiful because he's going to tell you that too.
I know everybody on the right got all excited
when there was an actual uh statement in the special counsel's report that he
had uh memory recollection issues and i was like no really what a shock but

(08:24):
it was like everybody on the right was like see we knew it but have you not seen?
Have you not been watching Trump?
Have you not been watching his memory problems?
This is not a situation where one person has a great memory and the other does not.

(08:47):
Both of the future potential world leaders have very poor memory issues,
even though they're telling us they don't.
All right, another pet peeve time, and I don't I don't know if anybody believes this,
but have you noticed that every politician knows exactly what the American people

(09:12):
think they get asked a controversial question and their answer is the American
people don't care about dot dot dot.
Because you talk to them all? Because we all walk in lockstep?
We all believe in one type of thinking?

(09:36):
You've done a poll? What?
Who listens to this and goes, yeah, yeah, that's it. That's exactly right.
We all feel that way. Come on, stop saying this.
Have you ever noticed how every time there is a negative news story or some

(09:56):
controversy around a candidate, instead of answering the actual controversy,
it's this huge scandal or it's an aggressive movement from the other party to make them look bad.
This is all a witch hunt this is all an assault and we're watching this trump

(10:21):
has been saying this uh since the day he was born but now we're seeing it with
biden in these memory things it's all just a right-wing conspiracy and these
are people who are trying to make us look bad,
sometimes sometimes just the truth.
