Rain Brown grew up on television on the wildly pop culture phenomenon, ALASKAN BUSN PEOPLE.
Rain Brown is the youngest of seven children featured on Alaskan Bush People, a reality documentary series that followed the Brown family as they lived off the land in Alaska's wilderness, far from modern society. At thirteen, Rain began to struggle with overwhelming depression, A secret she kept from her sisters and brothers, her best friends (her mom and dad,) and the TV crew.
As the years passed, it only increased. When her father passed away in 2021, it was too much for Rain, and she finally broke. In the show's last season, Rain leaves and seeks help, checking into a facility.
Now, Rain Brown is an author and advocate for mental wellness; she knows firsthand how important it is to keep the body healthy and, just as importantly, her mind healthy.
Day by day, Rain has reconstructed her life. She recently married her #1 advocate and supporter, Chef Josiah Lorton. They live in Washington State on the Brown's North Star Ranch.
For the first time, Rain opens up and tells the behind-the-scenes story of what led to her breakdown.
Rain has become a champion for mental wellness and offers solutions and hope to others going through the same thing. Josiah and her hope to open a wellness facility at North Star Ranch. Currently, together, they are inspirational speakers for mental wellness.
