The Joe Mangiacotti Show – Opening Segment

March 25, 2025 – WCRN 830 AM

JOE MANGIACOTTI: “Good morning, good afternoon, good evening—wherever you are, however you’re listening—welcome to The Joe Mangiacotti Show! Broadcasting from the heart of New England on WCRN 830 AM, Radio Central—the center of the dial, the center of New England, and the center of information. I’m Joe Mangiacotti, your host, your guide through the madness, cutting through the noise with logic, reason, and a little bit of common sense. Because let’s be honest, that’s in short supply these days.

We’ve got a packed show today, folks. A lot of big stories that the mainstream media—well, let’s just say they’re handling the truth about as well as a toddler handles a gallon of milk. And I don’t know about you, but I’m getting real tired of the usual suspects trotting out the same tired, baseless attacks. But hey, that’s why we’re here—to separate fact from fiction and shine a little light where the left would rather keep you in the dark. The Atlantic’s ‘Oops’ Moment – Or a Manufactured Scandal?

So, let’s start with this latest hit piece from The Atlantic—and I use the term ‘piece’ loosely, because it’s about as solid as Swiss cheese. The editor-in-chief, Jeffrey Goldberg—you might remember him from such classics as The Russia Collusion Hoax and the "Trump hates the military" hoax—he’s back again. This time, he’s claiming that he was accidentally added to a Signal chat with Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and other top officials—where he allegedly saw sensitive war plans about our operation against the Houthis in Yemen.

Now, folks, I don’t know about you, but this whole thing smells fishier than the docks in Gloucester. First, the White House admits that a journalist somehow got added to a private chat—but then they say, ‘Nothing to see here, no threats to national security.’ Which one is it? Either this is a major security breach or it’s a total non-story. And the fact that Pete Hegseth and President Trump aren’t even entertaining this nonsense tells you all you need to know.

Hegseth’s response? Classic. He called out Goldberg for what he is—a ‘so-called journalist’ who has built a career on pushing lies. And let’s not forget, The Atlantic is the same rag that tried to convince you that Trump called fallen soldiers ‘suckers and losers’—which was a complete and utter fabrication.

So let’s ask the real question here: why is the media obsessed with a texting mistake, but not with the fact that Trump just wiped out the Houthi threat and restored deterrence in the region? Why do they always focus on ‘process crimes’ instead of actual results? It’s because they can’t argue with success. They can’t argue with the fact that our enemies fear us again. So instead, they have to create these ridiculous distractions. And I gotta tell you—I’m not buying it. Biden’s Budget Meltdown – The Economy Is in Freefall

But hey, it’s not just the media playing games. Over in Washington, we’ve got Biden’s latest budget proposal, and let me tell you, folks, this thing is a train wreck. We’re talking trillions in new spending, higher taxes, and more debt than any of us can even comprehend. But don’t worry—Biden says it’s all ‘for the people.’ Right. The same way he said inflation was ‘transitory.’ The same way he said gas prices were ‘just a blip.’

Here’s the reality: they’re spending money we don’t have,
