Unknown (01:07):
Hey there folks.
Welcome.
This is Joe Roos and we are coming to you live tonight from the Asylum Studios,
broadcasting from the pimple on the backside of Texas,
the beautiful city of Eagle Pass.
And, folks, we are doing the very best that we can do to bring you the best quality talk radio we could muster
(01:34):
without all the bluster.
This
is the Joe Ruse Show.
Alright.
Well folks, it is great to be with you once again on a beautiful, beautiful
Wednesday evening
here in Eagle Pass, Texas. And it is
(01:56):
let's see, it is right now outside,
102
degrees
at 7PM
on February.
And right now here in the studio,
and don't mind me, I am just I forgot to do something.
(02:17):
So, we got it going.
Alright.
Well,
in the studio here, it's 81 degrees right now. So, I do have the AC unit running in the background. So if you do hear that
I do apologize.
But,
I would rather you hear the
than me sit here and
sweat like a beast
(02:38):
while I'm trying to do the show here.
Alright. Well, folks, we got, we got a good show here for you tonight. I am really, really excited about this one.
Tonight, we are in the first hour, we're gonna be joined by doctor Bob Thiel,
who is a,
one of the world's foremost authorities
(02:59):
on prophecy writings. It's a published PhD. He's highly
regarded researcher
and has many, many awards to his credit. So we're gonna be enjoying
his company
here momentarily.
But, of course, as always,
how are you guys doing?
You know, I hope you guys are excited about what's been going on here with,
(03:21):
in the news. I hope I wonder if you guys saw
what took place today
at the, at the White House
with, President Trump
and the, the South African president.
Very, very interesting, and we're gonna get to that in the second
hour of the show tonight.
So,
well, we're gonna get through some of the housekeeping stuff and, by the time you finish with that, doctor Teal should be with us. And, we are really gonna be excited to,
(03:49):
sit back and have a chat with him. So folks, just wanna remind you that this is a live show every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday night, 7PM central time, eight PM eastern time.
And, yeah, I'm playing with something here because I I forgot to do something before we started the show. And, I need to set this up right now. And, so that's what I'm that's what I'm working on here.
(04:12):
So,
as I've said
okay. So that's how we're gonna do it for this evening. We're gonna put that right there,
so that as you can see it
ow.
I hate when I have to rush.
I hate when I have to rush. I had a day like you would not believe
(04:33):
at the regular job, and,
it just didn't
seem to wanna end. And, I got out there late, got home late, got to the studio late.
Everything all messed up today,
all because of one broken water pipe, believe it
or not. Yeah. Yeah. That's exactly what it was. It's a broken water pipe
(04:54):
screwed up the entire day,
but that's alright. Anyway, back to the housekeeping stuff. So again, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 7PM central time, eight PM eastern time,
and, we really look forward to spending that time with you guys. And then, also, if you would head over to our website, joeroos.com.
That's joeroos.com.
(05:15):
It should be up there on your screen. Oh, by the way, did you did you notice the splash screen
today? Little bit different
than what we normally would have.
That that was a submission by a listener,
and so I, I wanted to make sure we got it up there and used it. So we just wanna say thank you,
and,
who sent this over to? This this was from Al Powder. So thank you,
(05:39):
Al, for submitting that beautiful piece of artwork. We really do appreciate it. And, well, we will be using it from time to time. So, really do appreciate that. Thank you so very much for it. And,
you can do the same thing too. And how you go about doing that is by heading over to our support page
and, you can donate your time, your talent, or your treasure.
(06:00):
Al has donated his time and his talent by creating that piece of graphic art for us. And, as promised, if you submit it and it's something that we could use, we'll definitely use it, and that's what we did. So,
so I hope you guys enjoyed looking at that. We'll be using it in the days and weeks ahead and,
we really do appreciate that. Now you could also donate your treasure. You could do that by,
(06:22):
clicking that donation button on our website and you can make a donation in any amount, a one time donation in any amount. You could also make,
a one you could also make a recurring donation
in any amount.
And, very simple to do. Just hit that donation button. Now also, you could do a recurring donation in any amount, but if you wanna get in on all the fun that we have, you could join one of our producer tiers. Now we have our associate producer tier that you can join up for for $17.76
(06:52):
every month. It's a recurring monthly donation. You would just set it up right there on the donation tab as a monthly recurring donation.
And then we have our producers
tier,
and that is $18.36
a month. And then we also have our executive producer tiers, which you can join up for. For $25
a month, you get to be, an executive producer, and we also have a $50
(07:15):
executive producer tier. Now, here's the breakdown. All of the tiers get basically the same benefit.
You get the shout out on every show,
you get included in all of the show notes,
and,
you also get included
in, in any emails that we send out, any promotional materials that go out. So it's it's it's a lot of it's a lot of fun,
(07:38):
to be a part of that. And the reason why we can do that is because your donation, your monthly recurring donation, your one time donation, all that stuff helps us produce the show. That's why we call you producers.
Alright. Now, the executive producers get all of the same stuff.
Here's the difference.
The executive producer at the $25 level also gets
(07:58):
to schedule
a thirty minute segment with us live
on the show,
and get to talk about anything that you wanna talk about. We could talk about
the color of the sky if you like. We could also talk about
local yeah, the news of the day, whatever we're talking about on the show is also open for, discussion.
(08:19):
So there are lots of things that we'll be able to do with that. Now for the $50
executive producer tier,
you get everything that that I just mentioned, the shout outs, the inclusions,
the, scheduling the show,
but you also get a one of the brand
new Joe Roo's show t shirts, which are in the process of being printed. And once, we get all that done,
(08:43):
we'll be able to send them out. So, so you can sign up to any one of those tiers just by hitting that donation button. Now you could also donate cryptocurrencies. We do,
really appreciate that.
And you can send over Satoshis, our our wallets up on the, on the, donation page.
And all all Satoshis are, sats are, is just micro payments of Bitcoin. And, you can just send that right on over to us, and we would really appreciate that. And then, of course, there's also the,
(09:10):
the new
crypto that we've been, we started to accept,
about a week ago, two weeks ago. And, which by the way, if you haven't gotten in on it yet, you really, really should.
It's called Texit coin, and you could check it out at TXC,
wherever you look up your cryptocurrency information.
(09:31):
I purchased,
Texit coin,
after speaking with, the guy who created and founded Texit coin, Bobby Gray. And,
when I purchased it, it was like 40¢
a coin.
And,
today, it was
a dollar
something, like a dollar 10 or a dollar 12 per coin.
(09:54):
So,
it's already it's already increasing. Now and and the reason why I talk about is because, you know, how many of us are sitting here kicking ourselves in the back for,
for not jumping in on Bitcoin when Bitcoin first came out at a couple of bucks a coin, and now, one Bitcoin, just 1 Bitcoin,
is over a hundred thousand dollars.
So can you imagine if you bought, like, $20.30
(10:17):
Bitcoin
at just $5 a piece?
Imagine what you'd have now?
So jump on board with this, Texitcoin, TXC
on the on the on the exchange, and if you want more information about it, you could always go over to,
texitcoin.org
and take a look. It's up there on your screen right now. And take a look at that and see,
(10:40):
you know, see if it's if it's a good fit for you. I hope it would be. It's not a bad deal.
Alright. Now also,
you could help us out by heading over to our affiliate link over at the alexjonesstore.com/joe.
Some wonderful products up there on the on,
on the site. Some
(11:01):
and you know I take the stuff. I demonstrated it for you on the show. We've opened up that fresh new bottle of the Ultra Methylene Blue and we we
did half a dropper of that on the show here. And then a few weeks later, we did it again, with a full dose.
And, so it was it was really it was a lot of fun. It it was enjoyable,
(11:22):
to do that with you guys. It was it, tastes good. It's fresh mint and and vanilla. It's wonderful.
Yeah. It does, you know, make you pee blue, but
that's that's a it's a it's a it's a minor side effect for all the benefits you get from it. Now, I'll be honest with you. At first, when I I when I first took it, I didn't really,
didn't really feel too much,
but after about two weeks
(11:44):
after about two weeks on it, the, I started feeling the effects of it and they're different for everybody.
For me, sometimes I'll feel like a little tingling
within, like, ten or fifteen minutes after after taking it,
and
a little tingling down down the fingers,
but what it does for me though throughout the course of the day is it keeps me focused, it gives me a lot of
(12:06):
useful energy
to get through the day.
I was I was telling a coworker of mine that,
since I've been taking it, you know, I don't seem to have the, the will to resist
the,
the sometimes crazy,
things that they have us doing at the job. So,
(12:28):
so that's just me, you know, it gives me a nice sense of calm throughout the day. I'm able to get my work done,
with little to no trouble.
And, we and I I enjoy it. So it's it's really good. Like, I also I was also telling him that, I feel like I can't sit down for too long because I feel like I need to be doing something. And it's not like jittery,
like if you took an energy drink or anything like that. It, it basically
(12:51):
just gives you this this steady
the steady energy throughout the whole course of the day. And it's not like, it's not like an energy drink. It's not like caff like like drinking,
you know, loads of caffeine or anything like that. You don't get the jitters from it. You just have a steady flow of energy. So you need to check that out. And right now, you can get it on the alexjonesstore.com/joe.
(13:14):
If you subscribe I I forget.
You know, I didn't I didn't I didn't double check the price before I got on the show. This is why this is what happens when you rush.
But you can get
your bottle for $20.30
dollars a month,
if you subscribe. It's a little bit more if you just buy it month to month, but, you should definitely try it out and check it out.
(13:37):
Alright.
Also,
the Ultimate Irish Sea Moss, fantastic product.
I've been taking that now for about four months and it really it's it's absolutely wonderful.
You could also,
check out the,
the turmeric that I take. I do that now. Look, I have arthritis, so it helps and it's better than taking all the other drugs and and things that they want you to take when you, when you have arthritis.
(14:02):
But, you know, it's, it's not bad. We enjoy it. So it's it's,
it's it's a it's a it's a nice alternative
to taking the prescription medications.
Also, I take the optimal human, which is like, you know, I always tease. It's like liquid grass, but it is so good for you. It's loaded with with over 90 different ingredients.
(14:24):
It has just
amazing properties to it, and, you know, it's it's helpful. You know, I use it like a meal supplement to be honest with you, and, I'm not saying that everybody should do that or it'll work this way for everybody, but I take it like a meal supplement. And, and I've lost about 30 pounds,
since I've been take since I've been using that. And it's just it's a great product and you need to try it out.
(14:47):
So head on over to the alexjonesstore.com
and check out all the vitamins, supplements, and apparel
that, that you could that you can get on the,
on that on the site.
Alright?
Also,
if you really wanna help us out,
you could like, subscribe, and share the show across all of your social media platforms for us. You could also head over to rumble,uh,.com/joeroosand
(15:13):

free. And, we look forward to having you there.
Alright. Well,
let's see what else do we got here before we, switch over because I
(15:37):
have a feeling that our guest
is not gonna be joining us this evening because it is already
twenty after,
and
it's at that point where
we need to move on. So,
alright.
I guess that's that'll be that for the night for for, for our guest.
(15:58):
So alright folks. So for those of you that are watching right now on, on YouTube, Twitch, and x,
we are going to, say goodbye. And, we will see you here again to, Friday night. And, if
you wanna check out the rest of the show as we go through, it's not not gonna be an incredibly long one, again, because,
(16:19):
we set up to have a guest and, and then do just a few a few news articles afterwards, but
we're just gonna do the news articles, it looks like, and
so it'll be a little bit of a shorter show tonight, and
I heard that, by the way.
Somebody somebody out there just said, oh, thank God.
(16:40):
So, alright, folks. So, again, if you wanna check out the rest of the show, just head over to, rumble.com
or your app store on your phone, download the app, follow the show, and, just just one thing I wanna say, you know, trying to fill space here. Just one more thing I'm gonna say about it is that if, if by any chance, you do head over to Rumble or or download the app, there are mid rolls on the show. I don't control that. I can't tell you when they're gonna pop up and when they're not. But if,
(17:09):
if, by any chance you don't want to see those, you could always sign up for a Rumble premium
subscription.
And, you could get that for as low as $10 a month in most cases, and, I think you'd really like that. It gets rid of all the ads. It opens up a lot of premium content to you. Look. I don't put the show behind a paywall. You know that. I'm not gonna do that. I really don't wanna do that.
(17:31):
You know, we don't have any sponsors. We're totally dependent on our followers, our listeners, our supporters,
to to help keep this thing going.
We are talking to a few folks about, taking us on,
in sponsorships,
so So we might have to start doing some some commercial reads and stuff, but, you know, we'll try to keep it to a minimum.
Alright.
Alright, folks. Well, again, for everybody that's watching on YouTube, Twitch, and x, we are gonna say goodnight
(17:58):
and we will see you either back here on Rumble if you follow over,
or we'll catch you
on the other side
of,
on the other side being Friday. Alright.
So we'll be back right after this.
Stay with us.
(18:35):
Alright. So
we're back and it's just us, the, the six of us, I think. Yep. The six of us here on Rumble.
Alright. So let's, what do you say we get into our?
Just wanna double check and make sure we didn't miss anything. Did not. Okay.
So let's, let's head on over to
(18:55):
our stories
for
today.
Very, very interesting things that have taken place
in the news, and let's get to it.
(19:18):
Alright. Well,
today,
Donald Trump hosted the, South African president Cyril Cyril Ramfosa,
at the White House. And,
you know, one thing I I don't know if you've noticed this with
these, these White House meetings that,
(19:39):
that, the president's been having with a lot of these world leaders, but he, he doesn't necessarily
pull the punches,
does he?
He actually
puts them on the spot in front of the media,
and,
I I guess he kinda makes them feel uncomfortable in a lot of ways.
Well, no different today at the White House when,
(20:02):
Cyril Ramaphosa, the, again, the South African president,
met with Donald Trump and,
and and president Trump confronted him about the
the the several
South African politicians that are actually advocating for violence against the white population of the country.
(20:23):
Now, of course,
the South African president,
you know, he he,
of course, he denied it, you know,
said there weren't any claims of a genocide in this country and,
which is interesting when you consider that, you know, The United States just, just brought in a number of, South African refugees,
(20:45):
seeking, protection from persecution in
South Africa. Those were the,
the Afrikaners
that we talked about, about a week ago, I think it was.
Well,
Ramaphosa
Ramaphosa,
he he tried. He tried to he tried to defend his plans, and he tried to,
(21:08):
you know, say that there there really isn't any
kind of,
persecution going on.
And,
Donald Trump,
again,
I mean,
I don't know when these these world leaders are gonna learn.
Donald Trump wheeled out the TV
(21:30):
and, showed him this. Let's take a let's take a look at this meeting here at the White House
today.
So this is about a four and a half minute clip.
Turn the lights down.
Turn the lights down and just put this on. It's right behind me. Well, he looks nervous, doesn't he? Yohan. There's nothing this parliament can do
with or without
(25:14):
Now this is very bad. These are the these are
burial sites right here.
Burial sites
over a thousand
of white farmers,
and those cars are lined up
to pay love on a Sunday morning. Each one of those white things you see is across,
(25:37):
and
there's approximately
a thousand of them. They're all white farmers,
the family of white farmers.
And those cars aren't,
driving. They're stopped there to pay respects to their family member who was killed,
and it's a terrible sight. I've never seen anything like it.
(26:00):
Both sides of the road, you have crosses.
Alright.
So
while we were waiting while we're watching that clip there, doctor Thiel, sent over an email. Apparently, the link didn't get, forwarded to him in in the emails that we sent out earlier. So he is currently waiting for us in the waiting room. So we're gonna bring him in here momentarily.
(26:26):
And,
so just bear with us for one brief moment.
We'll be right back.
(26:53):
Alright, folks. Welcome back. Sorry about that. We just had a little bit of a technical glitch there. No big deal. I think, we got it worked out. So, waiting for us right now in the waiting room is, doctor Bob Teal.
Told you a little bit about him earlier at the start of the show, but, doctor Teal is
one of the world's most foremost authorities on prophecy.
(27:15):
He's a published PhD,
and, he's highly regarded as a researcher with multiple research awards to his credit.
And, throughout his academic and professional career, he studied philosophy,
religion, science, and prophecy. And in recent years, he's had scores of articles published
on those specific subjects in magazines, newspapers,
(27:35):
religious publications, and scientific journals.
He is also,
a host of a a a show on the biblenewsprophecy.net,
which is a, a Bible prophecy news radio program,
that's produced by the continuing the continuing
church of God and is freely available to everyone.
And, we have a link that is already available in the show notes on the audio feed. We'll have that available to you on the video,
(28:02):
shortly after we publish
the video.
So, if, doctor Teal, if you're there,
I see you in the waiting room there. You just gotta turn your camera on and turn on your microphone, and, we'll we will be ready for you.
(28:22):
Doctor. Good evening. How you doing there?
I'm doing fine. Alright, great. So, again apologies,
The, the email went out, I guess, didn't have the link in it. So,
again, we we did post it on the, on on the PODmatch page.
So I'm
sorry. What happens is when I get when I get these, I don't read them until I'm about to go on because otherwise,
(28:46):
they don't keep them as new.
And so I've I gotcha. Anyway, we're we're connected. So hi. How you doing?
I'm doing fine. That is good. Sure what kind of if you wanna cover certain things prophetically to go on in the news or history in the news, or what would you like to cover? Well, we have a few things that we wanna talk about,
that that are gonna be very interesting. And,
I know I I sent a call out to, some of our folks that listen,
(29:09):
that,
are really into bible prophecy. So I'm hoping they'll be able to jump into the live chat here on Rumble
and, and join in.
But, they're not there yet. So I'll shoot them a text in a few minutes and and see how they are. But, again, welcome to the show.
Thank you. So, Doctor. Hill, just a little bit of a background. I I was reading your profile here. I I read it to some of the folks that were listening,
(29:33):
on the audio feed and on the video. And, you know, I am, I'm I'm a I'm a blood bought, born again,
bible thumping,
King James, bible believing Christian.
You know, I've I've done several
several,
Bible studies. I've done a Bible study podcast for, for about three years
(29:54):
and, put it put it aside for a little while to kinda
refresh myself a bit.
So we're doing this, and,
and, so so I have some I have some some pretty decent bible training behind me, so I think we can have a really good conversation about these things, and I really do enjoy them. They're they are a lot of fun.
But,
one of the things that I that I was looking at as as we were going over your profile was,
(30:19):
now you've studied prophecies not just in Christianity, but you've you've studied,
other religions as well. Correct? Correct.
Okay. And
and so and I I know you I saw something about, you study some Islamic prophecies. Is that is that correct? Alright. I'm really interested in hearing, some of the things about that that you've,
picked up from those
(30:40):
is because because my understanding about the Quran
is there really isn't very much prophecy in the Quran.
And,
so I I I don't see I don't see too much
that it would actually have to offer
unless you're looking at it from the perspective of what it you know, what is Islam's role in future events?
(31:03):
That's one way to look at it. The reason okay. The reason
couple different reasons.
The Islam in just a minute. But let me just start back. Why would I bother looking at any other prophecies? First of all, I disbelieve the bible. I wanna start off with that. Okay?
So,
and I'm familiar with Nostradamus. I'm familiar with all these guys.
And if there's any contradiction,
(31:24):
I go, it's bible first. Okay? So let's start off with that. Yeah.
Why I started looking at it was I was,
I visited the, Vatican. It was, I don't know, the second or third time I've been there.
And I wondered why,
people,
in that that faith
didn't see their religion in the bible in terms of prophecy and some warnings about certain things. So I thought, well, the way to reach them might be to look at church history.
(31:50):
So I bought a book at the,
well, I was at Saint Peter's at the time on various things in prophecy and on history, excuse me. So I started to write this really long book on history and prophecy.
Then I realized most people don't really care a whole lot about history.
So I said,
okay. What I'll do,
I had my wife and I had gone to the movies. We saw a preview for
(32:13):
Sony's twenty twelve movie. Now this is in, I think, 02/2008.
Yeah. And it was supposed to come out in a couple of months. Well, we went to movies again in January, and then they said that we wasn't gonna come out until November.
I said,
I got enough time. Maybe I could write a book about prophecy,
but but and get it out by the time the time Sony's movie came out. As a matter of fact, I was actually given a a preview
(32:37):
in Hollywood by Sony to go and watch the movie before it came out. Okay. So anyway so obviously, I had to look at Mayan prophecy.
Okay? So I looked at that. And while I was doing that, I looked at some other ones. Now what's
funny, I did a radio interview out of, it was over the telephone out of Sacramento, California.
(32:57):
And the hostess just said she'd read my book. She said, well, you're talking about the beast, the antichrist, false prophet. Well, everybody knows about that, and they're gonna know what happens when it comes. I said, oh, no.
And then you'll see how this ties into the prophecy. Mhmm. I said,
the Chinese in the Tang dynasty, sixth to ninth century, I think, said something to the effect. Beautiful people come from the West.
(33:19):
West Of China? Europe?
China China has a saint, but he's not that good of a person. Chinese don't think they have saints. Not that good of a person. Sounds like the antichrist.
K? So there's so they've got a prophecy looking forward to this.
Then here's one that's almost funny. Kinda is funny.
Then there's the Hindus. There's a billion Hindus, billion and a half of Chinese, and the Hindus have a prophecy that the Bhagwan Khalkhi is going to rise up,
(33:45):
the reincarnation
of Vishnu or something. Mhmm. And people are supposed to take up arms to support
this leader.
And I speculated back in 02/2009,
I said, I don't think by my reading of those prophecies, particularly when I see one on a white horse bow down before somebody else, reminds me of the four first before horse apocalypse. Correct. He said, maybe you don't have to be
(34:07):
an Indian or a
Hindu for this to be the case. And how oddly
and this is where I get some sort of funny.
There was a leader,
a a member of parliament in the Indian government of a fringe party
who said, by the way,
that Donald Trump was the Bhagawan talking.
(34:29):
Okay. Right. That's what I thought. I was like, Okay.
But who's not, by the way? But that confirmed my belief
that you don't have they didn't have to necessarily be a Hindu or or an Indian.
Okay? Okay. Okay. Then you got,
Greco Roman Catholics,
roughly a billion and a half to 2,000,000,000 of those depending on how you count it.
(34:50):
And they are looking forward to the time when somebody called the great monarch is gonna rise up.
He's gonna change the Catholic religion according to their prophecies.
He's going to offend much of the clergy,
but a pope
who helped,
get the East and the West together
will do miracles.
(35:11):
And this pope will say, he's the guy
and anoint him the head of a revived holy Roman empire. That's
in prerecorded Roman Catholic prophecy.
So I said to this hostess, look. You got the, Chinese looking for this,
billion, half of them.
Hindu is looking for it, billion of them.
You've got Greco Roman Catholics, another couple of billion people. And so these people are actually kinda looking forward to this.
(35:37):
And so I think that they're gonna be misled by their prophecies.
Now what about Islam?
I wrote a book by the way, it's it's free online at cc0g.0rg.
It's an ebook. Okay? So it's free. It's called Islamic Biblical Prophecies for twenty first Century.
Now before I wrote it, I knew a bit about Islamic prophecy, so I wanna
(35:57):
condition it with that. But until I read it, I didn't I wrote it. Excuse me. I I read much of the Quran,
but, basically, the, the what the
Muslims rely on are things called Hadiths
Right. Which are
interpretation and perhaps sayings of Mohammed. Some of the Hadiths are considered
authentic and others are questionable.
(36:19):
Anyway, if you put both of those together
in terms of end time prophecy,
basically, what Islam teaches is
in the time of the end, there's gonna be a deal
between a European leader
and a
Muslim leader.
Now I think, by reading Daniel chapter o 11, this is a deal between the king of the North and the king of the South. Okay. Right?
(36:43):
And according to the bible,
this deal one of these deals is broken in the middle of it after three and a half it's this one week deal seven year deal. It's broken in the middle of it,
and it's okay.
And so then what happens? According to Islam, there's gonna be a deal
between a Roman Catholic
and an Islamic leader
(37:04):
who they call the Imam Mahdi.
K?
And
then they say that the deal will be broken, then Antichrist will reign for three and a half years,
and then after that, yes, Jesus comes.
That's what they teach. Right. Now
the difference between how they understood it and people like you and I would understand it, is they say when Jesus comes back,
(37:31):
Jesus is going to be a Muslim,
and he's gonna tell people to follow the Quran.
Now my purpose of writing this book
was one,
about 2,000,000,000 Hindus actually, not Hindus. Muslims in the world, and I think we should try to figure out is there any way we can reach them. So that was
one purpose of the book.
The other is,
(37:52):
and I I take
a long range view of this,
when Jesus returns
and he does not embrace Islam,
My hope and prayer is that some of the Muslims will, well, will understand they were misled. And I say that in the book, by the way.
And so that's where I find, you know, Islamic prophecies kind of interesting because they've got prophecies.
(38:14):
And the problem is they're gonna think their prophecies are right. They win. There's a deal. There's gonna be a deal. The deal's gonna be broken by a European leader called the beast. Okay? Antichrist and the beast are gonna reign for three and a half years. That's right. And then Jesus is gonna return. That's right. So
now one of my views
(38:34):
of non biblical prophecies is twofold.
Some of them well, actually, most of them, I believe, are demonically inspired.
K? Agreed. In the case of Islam in the case of Islam,
not necessarily
completely. Why do I say that? Because when Islam started,
Mohammed actually believed the Bible. Mhmm. Okay? So he could have gotten some of this stuff from the Bible,
(38:57):
and that's where they got it.
But for, like, say, these
other ones,
some of the other ones, they're not from the Bible. They they're demonic.
And now the problem with demons is that, they don't always lie, but they do lie.
And what's the problem?
Decades ago, they told us about propaganda.
(39:18):
Propaganda is great if it's 90 at least 90% true, maybe 95%
true. K? Then it's great.
And so I believe people are gonna be misled.
In terms of Roman Catholic prophecies,
they, for example, think say that there's gonna be an apparition of Mary that's going to show up, and Mary is gonna be behind all this stuff.
(39:39):
Now
I wrote a book called Fatima Shock a long time ago. K? Fatima, Portugal. K? My wife and I went to Fatima.
For your listeners,
in 1917,
'3 little kids saw
something called
the lady. Showed up once a month for roughly six months. One month, I don't know. It came later. Didn't come.
(40:00):
And there was something called the miracle of the sun. Thousands of people supposedly saw this.
So people are convinced that this was
true.
K? I'm convinced something was there.
For your, listeners, including your Roman Catholic listeners, I wanna point a couple of things out. The lady did not say she was married, by the way. Yeah. I was gonna say that too. I was gonna add that to it. Yeah.
(40:22):
Yes. And the the the Mary the thing that showed up was only about,
a a yard tall,
and it wore a short skirt.
K? Now in modern culture, we don't think anything of females wearing short skirts.
In 1917
Portugal,
no. Even if you were a,
(40:44):
I'll be polite, lady of the night,
no. K? People's the dresses went down to their at least their ankles, mostly to their feet. Right. So this was probably not married from the bible. But my point is that apparition was seen by three kids, supposedly, bunch of times, and nobody else. So there were thousands of other people. No one could see it. Other apparitions of Mary that I read about.
(41:06):
There was some woman in an attic,
somebody who was deranged,
various other ones who claimed
to see Mary.
But what if it becomes public? What if there's a real one? We know in the Bible,
in second Thessalonians chapter two,
it warns about signs and lying wonders. That's right. What's the prophecies
(41:29):
related to, for example, Isaiah 47
talking about the lady of the kingdoms,
and it also talks about a skirt, by the way. That is kind of interesting to me.
And then you've got,
Revelation 13.
Revelation
13, you've got the,
two horned beast
who looks like a lamb but speaks like a dragon.
(41:51):
I think that's the Antichrist.
Anyway
and he does great signs
great signs, and various things. I suspect
one sign that might happen
is there will be possibly
a Marian figure that shows up somewhere,
maybe in Turkey, maybe in Europe,
(42:13):
and it will be there, and people will see it. Now the apostle Paul warns Christians,
second
Corinthians five seven, to walk by faith, not by sight. Right. But you've reached second Thessalonians
two, most people are gonna fall for this stuff because they did not have love of the truth, and they're gonna fall for this.
And it's going to happen.
(42:34):
So
by looking at non biblical processes, we've got a better idea of what's going to happen.
And I'm not claiming to be the apostle Paul. Okay? But Paul said
to the to,
people of Ephesus, I think it was, for I've been warning you night and day for years what's going to happen. So, you know, be careful.
(42:55):
And I think that,
one of the things I'm trying to do is warn people that when these things happen,
don't say,
yeah. I know they couldn't possibly be true, but look. I see it. It's gotta be
true. It may be true, but it won't be from god.
And that's one of the concerns that I have. So, and, also, the other reason for me to look at other prophecies, as I said before, is to relate
(43:19):
like the apostle Paul said, to the Jews who became a Jew, the Greeks who Greeks, all things, all men, etcetera.
So,
some people are more interested in prophecy than they are other things, and sometimes we can use that to give people's attention.
One of the things that I I always tell people or frequently
tell people
is that you
(43:41):
in in
order you really do need to study your bible to understand to understand,
yeah, to understand what's going on in the world today.
Because the bible the bible it's it's not just a book of prophecy, which it isn't the majority of the book is prophecy,
but it's also a wonderful
(44:02):
political science textbook.
Wonderful. Could I speak to something? Oh, yeah. Yeah.
K.
Your listeners have probably heard of Donald Trump's Golden Dome project,
which was based on what Ronald Reagan wanted to do. Now first of all, from a physical carnal perspective,
certainly, it makes sense.
(44:23):
K? Mhmm. I read something from the Chinese. They're all mad about this.
We may have turned space into a bat nuclear battlefield. Well, to be blunt, if they're gonna have a nuclear war, I'd rather it be. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely.
And then it's on here. Yeah. For sure.
What what but what's the prophetic ramifications?
One of the books I wrote, regarding Donald Trump, when it came out in January,
(44:45):
I warned that one of the things he's going to do
is look more at,
China and Russia being the enemy
and we'll spend money on programs
to deal with them.
Okay? And I understand why people would do that. Okay?
But
I read the Bible, and, you I'm not sure your view on this, so we'll find out in just a moment. Go ahead. When I read the Bible, I read about a power that looked like it was dead that rises up Mhmm. That ends up being a big worrying power. You read that in Revelation chapter 13.
(45:20):
And
that power is rises from the sea.
Mhmm. And that sea, according to Daniel chapter seven, is the great sea. And the great sea, according to other biblical passages,
is the Mediterranean Sea.
Well, that's not Russia. They're not there. China is nowhere near there. That happens to be a European power. Now Europe isn't there to do it yet. They're not ready to do that.
(45:45):
But I believe that
one of the things that's happening is,
and I call this an unintended consequence of some of Donald Trump's decisions,
is he's gonna look at the wrong enemy.
And,
you know, he thinks he's gonna knock things down and from the space, etcetera.
But the reality is, in case your listeners don't know this, there are all kinds of nuclear weapons in Europe that the Europeans can access
(46:11):
and put on their airplanes.
And I've long speculated now this is pure spec what I'm telling you now is absolute speculation. So I will it's not thus says the Lord. Right? Unless I quote the Bible, it's not thus says the Lord. There you go. Okay. It's a good disclaimer. Okay. I wanna make sure that exactly.
But I've speculated for at least, like, ten years
(46:32):
that maybe what will happen is United States and Europe will
be at odds a little bit. K? Happens all the time. Right? But maybe
instead of having NATO exercise over in Europe,
Europeans will say, why don't we have one over in The United States? Make it a big one. Mhmm. They bring their planes. That would be interesting.
K? And by the way, unless this sounds like fear mongering, I'm gonna quote Jesus, Matthew twenty four six. The end is not yet. K? I do not expect this for, at least three years, and it might could be much much longer. Okay? So it's it's not like I'm trying to scare everybody. You gotta do everything right now.
(47:08):
But
this is one of the, I think, advantages of understandable prophecy.
Whereas
as people who live in The United States, obviously,
I don't want a nuclear bomb to come and blowing up.
Okay?
And so and, you know, I think sure you're not alone in that. I'm sure there are plenty of other people that feel the same way. I'm sure there are 330,000,000
(47:29):
other people. Well, you know, there are there are some fringe lunatics out there that that probably wouldn't mind,
but,
yeah. I I I would agree. Yeah.
Okay. So but anyway, so when we see certain things happening,
you know, this is why I can see how they align with various biblical prophecies if people understand them correctly.
(47:51):
So anyway,
and with oh, by the way, my 20
just for your listeners to understand. I said, if you said the world would not end December,
twenty seventh of twenty twelve, I said that wasn't gonna happen.
But 30 world events aligned with, like, 32 things I said would or would not happen by the end of that year.
And it's basically from biblical prophecies, and I looked at those. And, yeah, I saw the non biblical ones,
(48:17):
but those are just to kinda get people's attention to say, here's where they agree with the bible Mhmm. And here's where they don't agree with the bible.
And so that's one of the reasons I've looked at looked at the other ones. And, again, if you consider that there's,
about 8,000,000,000 people in the world,
and they've got different cultures,
(48:38):
I think it's helpful to try to to to at least make an attempt to relate. How whether they fully relate, obviously, I would I would like more people to relate to it than any other cultures. But I I do think we need to we should make efforts, and that's one of the things I try to do in my books and in my writings.
Well, I think I think right now as as believers, as as
(49:00):
bible believing Christians, it is absolutely imperative
for us to get out
and get the message out about salvation through Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone. We are in the last days, and I I I said that very much very often.
In fact, I take it a step further. I I tell people that we are in the last days of the last days.
(49:21):
You know,
I
I and just looking at at at Bible Bible
prophecy and looking at the events going on around the world,
I don't think that there's any way you can draw any other conclusion
as to where we are in the biblical timeline
for the end of days. Now, there there are passages in the scripture. I'm just drawing a blank on the address of it. But,
(49:45):
where the where the Bible does talk about that,
before the end comes, there's gonna be a period of prosperity.
And I just find it very interesting here that here's Donald Trump talking about the golden age of America
and, you know, making America wealthy again, making America great again. Look. I am for that. I am an American. I am a patriot. I would love to see The United States,
(50:07):
you know, once again,
you know, take its,
its preeminent place
in the world. Of course, I would love to see that. But
the reality of it is
is that this is all gonna come crashing down
very, very soon, and it's extremely
important that we get people to understand that and see that and point them to Jesus Christ.
(50:30):
Yeah. Well,
mentioning Jesus,
take a few points. I've got a a free book called Proof Jesus is the Messiah.
The reason I'm mentioning that
is that
Islam claims Jesus is the Messiah,
and but they don't think he's the son of God. Correct. And,
I wanna talk about the Islamic State for a moment. That was a terrorist group over there in Iraq and, Syria.
(50:55):
And they put out a publication called the debate.
And it says, we hate you. And so one of the reasons were
because you say God has a son. God had no son, they said. And that you said Jesus,
died and he didn't die and all this kind of stuff.
Well,
getting back to my research on Islamic prophecy,
I read Mohammed. And you know what? While the average Muslim believes
(51:19):
that the
Jews and the Christians messed up the old and the new testament respectively
Mhmm. That's not what Mohammed taught at all. He taught. Instead, they misinterpreted it, but there's a difference.
K?
And so he didn't teach that the Bible was not trustworthy. Right. So so that's a problem Muslims have. And if they would actually go back to the Quran, they would realize, no. He didn't say the Bible was not trustworthy. So hopefully, they believe the Bible. And secondly,
(51:45):
dealing with Islamic State and Jesus,
it says in the Old Testament, the Hebrew Bible,
that God would have a son.
Now
why would the Jews put that in there? Do you think the Jews intentionally distorted their book to put in that God had a son since they didn't accept Jesus? No.
(52:06):
Okay? Of course not. That pulls away that argument.
And the other one, this one's interesting.
I knew that Jesus condemned
the
Pharisees, etcetera, for traditions they added that were not the Bible.
And by the way, they have that in Islam too. Yep.
Okay? And furthermore
(52:27):
You have that in Bible Christianity too as well. Okay. Well, and then one more part which is interesting, from the Quran,
Jesus actually did say he he died.
And you said, but Muslims don't believe that. You know why? I looked at seven translations,
six or seven translations from the Arabic to the English,
(52:48):
recognized
they're all wrong except for one,
And I had to go through all these AI programs and various other things to prove to myself that, oh, no. The Quran actually did say this, but it's the opposite of what they believe.
So getting back to Muslims,
if they would actually believe those parts of the Quran,
then perhaps they would be more willing to believe the Bible. Because if they believe because if they go back, believe the Bible, which Mohammed endorsed,
(53:12):
then they would realize, by the way, Islam is not the true faith. Right.
Salvation is only available through Jesus,
and that's clear from scripture.
And
they would see that, but they don't see it. And because they've they've been falling for their traditions.
And sadly, in the professing Christian world, people believe all kinds of traditions.
(53:34):
It's interesting. I gave a
a a sermon once
and,
to people of,
like, our denomination, if I use that term, we don't hear
her denomination, but we'll say people they continue in church again. And then an older woman came up to me and just asked me about something and said
it was a common belief. Right? He said that was really just a tradition, isn't it? I said yes.
(53:57):
Okay. If it doesn't contradict the bible, then we don't worry so much about tradition. But if it's an interpretation of our understanding,
it's not
there, you know. And so,
you know, it's not just the Muslims. It's not just the Jews who have traditions that they need to,
work past. But no. I agree with you. You need to go back to the bible.
(54:18):
As it says in Jude verse three,
we're to contend earnestly for the faith once for all delivered to the saints. It wasn't supposed to be changing.
Mhmm.
And,
so that that, you know, that's what needs to be done. And I mentioned about proof about Jesus being the Messiah.
And and it's not that I'm just here to plug ebooks, but I'm not. But I've got another one, is God's existence logical?
(54:44):
The reason I bring these up is Chris people need to prove that there is a God. K? It's not a probability.
It's an absolute
situation.
Yes. I did a I was doing a podcast, and one of the scholars on the other side was trying to talk to me. He believed in god and all that. Don't get me wrong. But he
said, well, the probability this, this, and this. And I said, no. You can't talk you don't talk to atheists about probability. You talk about impossibility.
(55:10):
Okay? And I went through the science as to why it's impossible for life to form the way they say it. Okay? Mhmm. And by the way, real scientists know it's not possible.
Okay?
And so but getting back for people who profess Christ, you need to to be absolutely sure there's a god. It's not like maybe it's a nice idea. It's a white a warm fuzzy feeling. No. You need to prove Jesus is the messiah, not maybe somebody else could have been. No.
(55:35):
And we have another book about proving the Bible is true. Once you do that, then you will be serious
about your faith. You know, the apostle Paul that,
the Jewish temple was gonna get destroyed and Jerusalem was gonna get knocked off after the Messiah came, and he did.
K? So they were having problems with that because it was kinda obvious, like,
maybe Jesus was the one. Of course, he was the one. So instead, the lesson is what the Jews did. Mhmm. They decided that the years didn't work the way that way.
(56:04):
Now every
year, on, the feast of trumpets, which the Jews renamed Rosh Hashanah,
you hear that it's like Jewish year 05/1985
or something, nonsense like that. It's not it. It's off to over at least two hundred years. The Jewish scholars know that.
And the reason it's off is they wanted to point to somebody else, a guy named Simon, being the Messiah,
(56:27):
in year 01/3135.
Now that's that I didn't know. That's interesting.
Oh, it gets more interesting. Okay. Go ahead.
K. So he revolted against the the Romans,
and it was called the Bar Kokhba revolt.
And they said he was the messiah.
And Rabbi Akiva said he was the guy. They changed their calculations
(56:49):
to point to this guy.
Now when Jesus came,
he died for us and our sins. Amen.
But he didn't cause a mass
persecution
of death
of people in
the land of Israel at the time. He did not. K?
When the Simon Barcoco revolted,
(57:12):
at least 600 to 700,000 Jewish men were killed,
then there was famine and pestilence there. And so they think between a million
to 2,000,000,
Jews
die because they followed the because of this false messiah.
So there was a cost not just
to being wrong,
(57:33):
they died.
They were in India. Yeah. Who wants to starve to death? Right? Nobody.
Nobody. Well, there's nobody. You know, nobody would wanna do that.
And so Not willingly on your own. From Jesus.
A lot of people died because they went for a false messiah.
And one of the concerns that, I have in writing about prophecy
is that people are gonna accept this false messiah
(57:56):
that, again, the, Hindus call the Bhagwan Kalki,
the, Greco Roman Catholics call the great monarch.
Fortunately,
even within Roman Catholic world, there are people that said, wait a second.
I don't they don't see this great monarch in the bible as it
but they do say things about the beast and antichrist.
(58:18):
And one of the Roman Catholic writers says, you know,
be careful because people might end up misunderstanding
and thinking that the antichrist is this great guy and and the beast. And that's what's gonna happen, by the way. It is. I I I am totally convinced
reading their prophecies
that that's what's gonna happen.
And so one of the reasons to warn people before it happens, before these guys got these people out there doing signs and lying wonders,
(58:43):
before we might see apparitions of Mary before whatever,
because it's gonna happen. And those who who believe the lie,
are going the wrong way. It's been trying to warn people beforehand. You know? I seek first the kingdom of God and all is right and all is righteousness and all this will be added to you as opposed to, well, this sounds like a good deal. He's gonna make us rich. We're gonna prosper for a few years. Blah blah
(59:07):
blah blah. And because you were putting out from Revelation seventeen and eighteen, by the way. Yeah. Exactly. I I was gonna comment that as well. The,
but, again, there there is gonna be that time of prosperity, and a lot of people are going
are going to,
I guess Be taken in.
(59:28):
Yeah.
Even even by the way, even Roman Catholic prophecy says
that the antichrist is gonna give make people wealthy.
Spread it out. Now let me ask you this.
Now you you know at the
in in the end in the end times, there there is going to be this,
and we already see the systems in place for this. You have you have the one world government already established basically at the United Nations.
(59:53):
You have,
the one world currency
that's already if if you wanna look at the digital currencies that that people are talking about, you know, trying,
I forgot what they call it here in The States, but, They're called they're called CBDCs.
Central Bank Central Bank. Yeah. Currently, and Europeans wanna start to,
start using it in October, although they've gotta have some time period where they, make it
(01:00:19):
every day. Right. Switched over totally. And and you think that that's actually that that's really something people need to pay attention to because
that can be used in so many different ways against the population. I mean, you that you, you know, you're you're familiar with the term wrongthink?
Yes. Okay. So, you know, well, you know,
(01:00:39):
we're accusing you of wrongthink, so we're shutting off your your wallet,
and you can't go buy food,
you can't go pay your bills, you can't pay your rent, your mortgage, whatever it is,
and not but then again, by 2030, you'll have nothing like it if, you know, the WF gets its way.
But that's really a scary thought that the government will be able to shut you off like that. And that's another subject really, but,
(01:01:04):
but so you have the one world currency
already in in coming into development here. You have the one world government already already established
and the one world religion.
Now there's a lot of different theories out there of what this one world religion is going to be.
(01:01:25):
I I look at it as I I see a revived Roman Empire.
We agree on that. Yeah.
But I also see a lot of elements
of paganism.
Absolutely. Positively.
Yes. Because I I also know people that said that Islam was gonna be the one world religion, but I think that Islam
this is now this is again
(01:01:46):
a disclaimer, this is speculation, this is not anything, you know. I would never get up in a pulpit and teach this as doctrine, but,
I think
that Islam
and Catholicism
at some point are gonna come together.
(01:02:06):
Can I explain that? Yes. You can. But let me just make this quick point though. They come together, you're talking
1.4
or 5,000,000,000 Catholics, you're talking about 1.8, almost 2,000,000,000
Muslims.
You're talking a huge,
almost half the world population
at this point.
(01:02:27):
K. So good. Let me let me tell you what I've what I've speculated on this and why.
I've been to Turkey several times. Mhmm.
Just
outside of ancient Ephesus, they have a
a celebration once a year for,
Jesus' mother, Mary.
According to Islam, Mary is one of four perfect women
(01:02:49):
Mhmm. By the way. The other three
are Muhammad's daughter Fatima, Muhammad's first wife,
and the,
woman who drew Moses out of the water. Isn't that interesting, though?
Muhammad's first daughter's name was what?
Fatima.
Right. And the Catholics have this whole big series of prophecies based on someone named
(01:03:10):
or a place named Fatima.
Yeah. Yes. Okay. So you got that.
When I read Daniel chapter 11
and I see aligned deals done between the king of the South and the king of the North,
I believe that there will be a temporal alliance
with Islam
and what I call a changed form of Roman Catholicism.
(01:03:31):
Mhmm.
The initial
beast and antichrist
are going to claim Roman Catholicism
and change it. Mhmm. K? Now the last pope, by the way, you mentioned paganism.
He got criticized for something called Pacamama,
which was
basically a nude fertility
statue
that they had in the Vatican.
(01:03:51):
Okay? And that's clearly clearly pagan. A lot of Roman Catholics recognize that.
And by the way, this week,
the new pope,
Leo the fourteenth, has said that he wants, actually, he wants all Christians with him, but also they want a type of unity with the non Christian faiths, he said, this
the last few days. Mhmm. And so I think what they're going to do is kind of make a deal with them
(01:04:17):
to some degree.
Now as far as Islam goes,
I believe
there probably will be an apparition claim to be married. That's one of the reasons why I said it might show up in Turkey. Okay.
The Muslims will temporarily
go along with this,
but not very long.
Then you see in Daniel 11 verse 40, the king of the South
(01:04:38):
goes against the king of the North,
and he loses, by the way, because but he thought he was going to win. He's not going to win, but he thinks he's going he thought he was going to win.
And
that's when Muslims will break from this. Okay? So I don't think with Muslims, it's gonna be a real long term thing. It will be kind of short term, and, again, I think it'll be partially because of signs and lying wonders.
(01:05:02):
Okay.
I yeah. I I I you know what? That that does make sense.
It it does it does make sense. Like, I I I was never able to quite put together, like, well, is this gonna be a long term, you know, come together or or anything like that? But that it does make sense over the over the signs and wonders because Catholics are very, you know, and I don't mean to, you know, to insult my my Catholic friends or anything like that, but,
(01:05:25):
Catholics are very much into signs and wonders,
you know, and Oh, yes.
So, you know, so they're I I I believe that they're gonna just, like, grab on to all of that stuff wholeheartedly.
And Yeah. And, yeah, of course, the Islamists are gonna be, you know, that's a little bit too much for me, you know, and they'll go back on, you know, doing what they do.
(01:05:45):
But,
and again, paganism involved in this, and you look at what's going on right now. You look at six celebrities,
you know, this embracing
of
devil worship
and the icon of the iconography of that stuff. And and, you look over in in places like in, in CERN, Switzerland,
(01:06:06):
right, where the where the Hadron Collider is. They have the statue of Shiva
who who is the gun. It kinda ends up six six six, by the way. Because I got pictures of all this stuff. I I know. I've I've yeah. I've I've seen stuff like that. I've heard stuff about that. And you have this the, you know, the great hadron collider there. And Yes. And, you know, what is their stated goal? Their stated goal is to bring these,
(01:06:27):
is is to to open up dimensional doorways
and either take something out or put something in. Then you have Shiva standing out there
who is who is the goddess of what? Destruction
and chaos.
Devastation.
Yes. Exactly. And then they have these these,
these mock
blood sacrifices
(01:06:48):
and human sacrifices
at the opening of CERN
and,
all in front of this Shiva statue. And it's just spreading and spreading and spreading. And honestly, even among even even among bible believing Christians, I'm seeing this.
Even like, I I know I know somebody who, who who's I'm not gonna mention their names because, you know, they're they're they're a good friend of mine, and I'm trying to talk to them about this. But
(01:07:13):
and he's probably listening, and he'll, you know, let me know later on that I'm, you know,
gonna do something about. But,
recently bought books
on, by Aleister Crowley.
He he bought a book, called the,
the Galatia,
which is, you know, the the
the the keys of Solomon, you know, to be able to summon demons and things like that. I mean and
(01:07:39):
he's one of those guys that you look at and you say, I would never think in a million years you'd be, you know, messing around with this stuff.
But, you see it and it's growing and it's growing and it's growing. And interestingly, I've noticed too, and I I was I was talking to somebody else about this a few days ago, is ever since they started messing around at CERN,
this world has gotten darker
(01:08:02):
and darker
and darker.
You're starting to see more of these,
unidentified
aerial phenomenon,
you know, buzzing around.
I I personally think that stuff is all interdimensional stuff. I don't think that they're little green men or or
(01:08:23):
or I I think these are actually demonic,
and,
these are devils that are that are coming through these interdimensional portals that that
people like at CERN are opening up for us. Now I might sound crazy. I might sound like a conspiracy theorist or, you know, or something like that. But,
you know, when you but when you look at the scripture and you see the scripture talks so very carefully and so very clearly
(01:08:48):
that all of these things are are going to be indicators and signs of the last days.
Well, you you had mentioned, for example, since SARS started
let me just mention COVID for a moment. Yeah. Please. Well, I my family and I happened to travel during COVID.
Now
you could buy or sell, but you couldn't travel Mhmm. And you couldn't buy food and restaurants
(01:09:13):
without
The yes. The ID thing. I granted
the prove to,
vaccine.
I saw this in Puerto Rico. I saw it in Hawaii, and I saw it in Europe.
Now what people need to realize, getting back to the bible prophecy, when the apostle
John
wrote what he saw, because Jesus saw it right when you see it. Mhmm. And he wrote about controlling buying and selling.
(01:09:39):
You couldn't that was impossible back then. Okay. Let's say you and I wanted
to do something. I wanted to buy a chicken from you. Let's use that because that's not so big. What can we do? You walk in the woods. I walk in the woods. I give you
copper coin probably for a chicken back then, and we make a deal. K? They can't control that. There was no way to control that. Right. Now
(01:10:02):
most
transactions,
at least in the Western world or even outside the Western world,
are digital.
Mhmm. K?
And you you talked about wrong think,
that you've gotta have you know, the Bible talks about you could have to have the mark of the beast to buy and sell.
And with
central bank digital currencies or other digital, currencies,
(01:10:23):
we're getting there.
And now oh, you like maybe you like this story. You've heard the the rock group, ABBA? Oh, sure.
Okay. Turns out my wife and I visited Stockholm, Sweden once.
And the wife and I will go into the ABBA Museum. Is it Abba Museum?
There's Abba Museum.
I didn't know that.
(01:10:43):
Now this is,
I don't know, six, seven years ago. Good grief. I'm on the way to the side. Sign.
You'll love this one.
I dream of the world
where it is cashless.
So everything's digital.
And we went to the farmer's market in
Stockholm.
They took credit cards. Everybody had little readers. This is like six years ago. K? I buy a $3 you know, $2.02, €3 worth of something. Right. Oh, no. They they didn't take there's no cash.
(01:11:11):
And so that was that was astounding,
and they wanna go that way. And so they're really pushing it over in in Europe. The
European Central Bank has said basically that cash is archaic,
and,
they they always like to claim that they're preventing criminals from
existing by all their their rules. That's always that's always the excuse. It's for your
(01:11:34):
safety.
It's for national safety. It's, you know, it it's always about safety.
Yeah. And it never it's not really at all. Oh, no. And so it's it's it's astounding. But but also again, getting back to the bible,
when when the apostle John wrote that down 2,000
ago,
almost yeah. It's over 2,000 ago. Oh, no. It just understands. I'm sorry.
(01:11:56):
It wasn't possible.
Mhmm. And by the way, there were 200,000,000 men on the planet to have a 200,000,000 man army just to just to throw throw that out. Now I know some people think it's figured out or it's gonna be demons. I think they're gonna be humans. Mhmm.
I think Mao Zedong indicated that they had the,
enough people to to put that kinda army together,
and that was, you know, decades ago.
(01:12:17):
So, you know, these prophecies were there, and it's it's funny. You know, the anti biblical types probably would have said back 1,800 ago, ah, can't control buying and selling. This is ridiculous.
No. This isn't inspired by God,
but we can see it now. And there's always been critics of the Bible,
critics of different things.
And
(01:12:37):
if if they were patient
or or and had a willing heart,
a discerning mind, prayed for wisdom and understanding,
they could see that, either
they're misunderstanding
what the Bible says or it has been fulfilled or it still can be fulfilled.
And I want people to realize that, you know, the so called all these so called contradictions of the bible and stuff. I did a program as an atheist. He tried to put some stuff to me. And I and I'd heard this trick or argument before, and I said, no. No. You've got this wrong. And he he had nothing to do with it. He he he was convinced that his understanding
(01:13:14):
of why the Bible was wrong had to be right even though it was wrong. And I explained to him why it was wrong, and they just didn't didn't wanna hear it.
You know,
talking about atheism,
I I I have some friends who are atheist.
Not many, maybe
I can count on less than a hand how many.
And one of the one of the things you know, and we're respectful of each other. We don't we don't beat each other up over things, but, you know, one of the things that I always like to kind of bring up to them and say, you know, it really does, and I'm not trying to bite off a title of a book or anything like that, but it really does take a lot more faith
(01:13:49):
to be an atheist than it does to be a Christian.
Yes. Absolutely
does. And, you know, primarily because, you know, you you have to honestly try to believe that
out of nothing
came,
you know, everything that's around us.
You know? Now when my kids were young, and
(01:14:09):
my my kid, when they were in school, you know, of course, I was I was teaching them about, Biblical Christianity. I was teaching them about creation
and and and such. And,
I remember my daughter
my daughter came home one day and she said to me,
she goes, dad, she goes today, you know, they were teaching us today about this thing called the Big Bang Theory. She said, do you know what that is? I was like, yeah, I know what that is. I said, my god said it, and bang, it came into existence.
(01:14:37):
Well,
let let me tell you what's interesting about that kind of stuff, with the atheists and and whatever. I saw a stupid headline a couple days ago.
The evolution was proven by the Stokes trial a century ago, and now we have the unscientific
stuff being proposed in certain Southern states
so they can teach something else. And this is retrogression
(01:14:59):
because it's not science.
So now
not only am I a published scientist,
believe it or not, I actually it's not necessary. I actually have a scientist license from the state of Alabama. Okay. Okay. Not that you need one, but I have one. Alright? Now they what they tried to do, and they've always tried to do, is say
the bulk of people who don't believe in evolution don't have degrees.
(01:15:22):
People most bulk of people who have degrees believe in evolution. Therefore, you're stupid and uneducated
if you don't believe in evolution. You're an atheist. Nonsense they try to push down our throats all the time. Yes. Now I've got somewhere between twelve and fourteen years of university education.
Okay? So that didn't quite hit with me. Alright. I'm gonna read something. It's in this book. I'm gonna read it from the back cover. It's on the back cover. I'm gonna read exactly what this says so your audience will realize that it's the people who don't believe in God who are not scientists.
(01:15:53):
Here's what this says.
Nobel Prize winner, doctor George Wald from Harvard University. Now that's when Harvard really was a
a renowned school. Now not so much. I think.
Okay. He stated the following.
The reasonable view was to believe in spontaneous generation,
life from nothing.
The only alternative
(01:16:14):
to to believe in a single primary act of supernatural creation, there is no third position. So he said there's only two options.
Okay? Mhmm. Now then he says,
one only has to contemplate the magnitude of this test task to concede that spontaneous
generation
of a living organism is impossible.
(01:16:36):
K? Impossible,
he says. He gets Nobel Prize, then he says, yet here we are as a result, I believe, of spontaneous
generation.
Okay. So you've got a leading scientist. To to get a Nobel Prize okay. That'd be that's like that's that's the top of the top of the peer tiers. Right?
(01:16:56):
Chief says he's believing the impossible, and we're supposed to be uneducated
because we don't believe that?
I have a PhD in the biological sciences. I don't wanna spend a bunch of time with this, but I could prove in a couple of minutes why
life is impossible to have started,
randomly. Go ahead. Alright? It's easy to do. And doctor George Wall admitted that if you look at it, k,
(01:17:18):
you know, study cellular biology and some of that kind of stuff, You can come to that conclusion. You're you should come to that conclusion yourself. But instead,
you've got this mob view,
kind of like the emperor with no clothes story. People pretending
that
if you don't believe in evolution, you're not educated.
Okay? Nonsense.
(01:17:39):
But these people who believe in evolution, they haven't proven it because you can't prove can't prove the impossible.
Okay? They can believe it. They can say they believe it. They can say they think it's scientific. But now that's but that's all nonsense. It's absolutely not the case. And that's why I went back to before. People need to prove that God exists.
Prove Jesus is Messiah, and I think you can prove. Now by the way, I don't think it takes faith to believe in God.
(01:18:03):
Demons believe in trouble. Like, they they don't it takes faith to do what God says.
That, it's I believe. Yeah. It's it's like I like, I would tell people that, you know, you can have a head knowledge of who God is and who Jesus Christ is, but if it's not here, it doesn't mean anything.
Well, you know, again,
I I believe
that, again, it doesn't take,
(01:18:24):
faith to believe that there is a God. Mhmm. Because you can't explain the universe, with with the big bang, oscillating universe theory,
and all that kind of stuff, or
how life started and why it didn't die out immediately once it formed,
etcetera, in different stages of it. And and evolution
is technically a theory. It's it's not a proven fact.
(01:18:45):
Yeah. Well, technically,
it's actually they call it a model.
Okay? So it's not they they would argue it's not a theory, it's a model, an explanation
Okay. Of what we have. But it's only an explanation of what we have if you presume a couple of things.
One, you presume that, for most evolutionists,
(01:19:05):
that god didn't start it. Now, by the way, most evolutionists don't realize this, but there was this guy called Charles Darwin.
He said god started life.
Okay? So Darwin,
he gets he gets
a passing grade for that part. He gets that one right because he knew that wasn't possible,
(01:19:26):
that life just started. Correct. And he also said, by the way,
if the cell is more complicated than
we think it is, then my theory is nonsense.
Darwin wrote those in his, origin of spirit species book, by the way. The average evolutionist hasn't read origin of species.
And they don't know that their founder,
(01:19:47):
their the the father is the stuff, you wanna use that term.
Jesus said it would work.
Once you start to look at DNA and stuff, you realize that this is not this is just this is crazy to to say something. But so but they say it's a model. But first of all, their model only works if they say the impossible happened for life to start Mhmm. And that there's no god.
(01:20:08):
And they say, well, because we've seen different species,
this it must have happened this way.
No. Right.
It just it's so it's a model. It's supposed to be a way to explain
what we have,
but it's a false explanation because it's not true.
And speaking of false, no. I'm a little bit older than you.
(01:20:31):
So
I had a scientist textbook
when I was, I don't know, just sixth grade.
Not sure exactly the year.
And they don't show this anymore. But to prove evolution,
they said
in London,
they would start to have more pollution in the eighteen hundreds.
So this resulted in,
(01:20:52):
it being easier for birds to find
white
moss and not black moss as it okay?
And, because the black moss now blended in better.
So they, so they showed a picture of these black moss on this tree, and they look like they blended in really good. Mhmm.
Believe it or not, that was supposed to be proof of evolution, and that wasn't proof of evolution at all. But here's the kicker.
(01:21:19):
Those moths don't go on those trees.
Matter of fact, somebody had pinned them on
to take a picture
to prove evolution.
And
and so I thought, oh, that's that's bizarre. You know, this is this is their proof. Their proof is their proof is based on a lie.
And their assert their assumptions are based on a lie. Again, I quoted Patrick John twelve. In fact, maybe your readers can even some of them see it. There it is right here. K? I didn't make this stuff up.
(01:21:47):
They're like,
okay. Oh, there's only two possibilities.
The real
one would say won't won't accept
or the impossible. Oh, we'll we'll do the impossible because we if you don't do the impossible, then you have to believe there's a god. Mhmm. And if there's a god,
maybe he has a plan.
If he's got a plan, maybe you should wanna be part of it.
(01:22:07):
Maybe there's some penalties if you don't become part of it. Okay?
But they would rather push God out of their hearts, their minds. That's right.
Suppress the truth and unrighteousness, it talks about in Romans chapter one.
But the facts are there. The reality is there. Real scientists know
that there are the explanations don't make sense, which is why, by the way,
(01:22:30):
you'll hear some of the explanations from scientists. Well, life must have come from Mars or some other planet because they they know they couldn't make it happen here.
And so that's also more nonsense they come up with, because
none of the not even if it supposedly came from
a different galaxy, you could still have to start somehow,
(01:22:51):
And you still run the same problems you run-in on to on the earth. Oh, yeah.
Let me ask you this. This this is just something I I was thinking of.
In dealing with skeptics,
right,
what would you what would you say to someone who who would come to who comes to you and tells you that they think that,
(01:23:14):
prophecy is like retroactive storytelling?
I would say, no. That's not the case. Or just coincidence, you know, or or something like that.
That's what people accuse,
Chris that's what the Jews accuse the Christians of, by the way. What did you say, by the way? They said, yeah. There's a couple hundred prophecies in the Old Testament about, that could be related to the Messiah.
(01:23:35):
But the writers of the gospels,
they looked at those and then decided to say that Jesus did those. Therefore, that's all nonsense.
K? So in my book about,
proof Jesus the Messiah and the other one about who gave the world the bible,
I've had, like, 10 things that were mentioned in the bible
or by Jesus that have already happened.
(01:23:57):
K? Now I remember the first time I told somebody, this was kind of a skeptic.
He was an agnostic.
He did read the New Testament though because of me.
And,
a Roman Catholic friend of both of ours said to him, well, what do you think? And he said to the Roman Catholic,
well, I think Bob Teal's religion is closer to what the what the New Testament says, but he he wouldn't do what it says. But what I said to him is, you know, Jesus said, heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. Amen. He says so. I said, but it just happened. That happened.
(01:24:31):
Okay? He said people would, claim to be him, and it happened. I said, I don't go around saying my words will pass will never pass away or that,
you know,
people are gonna row in the future and say, I'm I'm doctor Bob Teal, and we'll deceive it will deceive many. Although, I I I have gotten
deep fakes of by the way, people pretending to be me, but I I never predicted that.
(01:24:54):
K? But Jesus predicted those things and it happened. And one of the big ones,
big one, is in Revelation chapter two
where, the message to the church of Ephesus. Now I've mentioned I've been to Ephesus a couple of times.
And Jesus said that,
their candlestick would be moved.
(01:25:17):
And
I don't mean to put you on the spot. Have you ever been to Ephesus? No. I haven't. I I'd love to go. It's just something that's on my bucket list. So k. Well,
Ephesus was a coastal city. It was a very lovely coastal city.
It's no longer on the coast.
Matter of fact, it's about,
five, six miles from the coast.
(01:25:40):
What happened was there's
rivers that bring in stand.
So the whole lampstand, the whole town is six miles from the,
six miles, maybe 10 kilometers, something like that, from from there. And I've been to Ephesus, and I looked, couldn't see the ocean from Ephesus. And the reason it was written before was it was on the ocean. It was an Asia Minor and all this kind of stuff. And that happened. So the candlestick was moved. Yeah. And so there there are other things. Just like
(01:26:09):
what I was saying about,
six the six six six stuff, buying and selling. Mhmm. When the apostle John wrote that, it wasn't possible.
The fact is it's now possible.
It's now possible to have a 200,000,000 man army.
Some of these things were not possible,
and so I don't think that's retroactive.
(01:26:31):
And, again, when Jesus predicted stuff that
happened outside the bible after the New Testament was read.
K? There's something interesting talking about the 200 the 200,000,000 man army.
I'm trying to remember where I where I saw it, but,
it it flipped out of my head, but I remember I remember what it what it was, that
(01:26:53):
China
has
how many billions
of people?
1.4. One point four.
Right?
And
they have a 2,000,000 standing army,
But if they activated their reserves,
they're at 200,000,000.
(01:27:13):
And that's what that's what Mao was saying before. Right. So and I think that I think that's fascinating when you look at at the scripture.
And, you know, the scripture talks about those things. And right there in that region of the world that the Bible's referring to, you have that. It's there. Oh,
to add to that,
(01:27:34):
I don't know if your listeners are familiar with what's called the Silk Road project, otherwise known as the Belt Road initiative in China.
We've seen it before. Building roads to connect all of Asia that goes all the way to The Middle East,
close to Armageddon.
K? Plus And can I let me just interrupt you for one second? Just for the folks that are listening or watching,
(01:27:57):
the term Armageddon
is frequently thrown out as an event that takes place. Armageddon is actually a location
in The Middle
East. This is where where that final battle is gonna be held and the blood that's gonna be spilled is gonna be as high as the horse's reins. I'm sorry. Go ahead. No. No. No. No. No. That's fine to to mention it because Armageddon is a place. Mhmm.
(01:28:19):
And so you've got the, the Chinese
who are building roads, and they're also building ports.
Ports could have big ships. It could bring bring lots of people.
Then you've also got the Europeans.
Now the Europeans are being a little more
selective.
They have what's called the global gateway,
(01:28:40):
project. So they're gonna build some roads out to connect to Asia as well. Mhmm. Now
the old joke well, not joke, but the old historical thing was all roads lead to Rome. And in the old days, the big roads have where they all live. They all live. I walked on some of those roads, by the way. They're still there. The Romans Rome is still the ones that Rome is made. Well, China decided, you know, all roads to Asia should go there. But one funny thing about roads,
(01:29:05):
they go both ways.
K? So when we read about Mystery Babylon,
doing all this trading,
They're building the roads now to make that happen. Mhmm. Both the Europeans
and the Chinese are doing that right now. Yeah. And so,
not only will it'll make it easier for
the 200,000,000
(01:29:26):
man army to do what to go where they're gonna go and do what they're going to do.
But also the trade before that
these these great battle happens.
And so
I look at that, and I tell a skeptic, you know, this this is what's happening. And, you know,
when this this stuff was written, it wasn't possible.
You know? People
(01:29:47):
forget
that like, from China to get to,
Armageddon,
Megiddo Mhmm. That's a long haul. Okay? You can't just
k? It's not like a ten hour plane. Mhmm. It takes months and months and months and months and months and months, and and they gotta have food. They gotta supply chains. Yeah. Okay. The logistics.
(01:30:08):
I was also former I'm also former military guy there. Alright. Thank you for your service. Supply chains,
and you want this to happen,
and it's not gonna happen if,
there's no way to do it. And now there now there's a way to do it, and it wasn't before.
And it's fascinating too when you when you really look at at this at the scripture, you look at the you look at prophecy. Another thing too is like, you know, God shows us little bits and pieces of things, you know, it it doesn't just all dump out in one one shot,
(01:30:37):
You know? Right. It says that in Isaiah. Here a little there a little. Exactly. You know, like, this like, when COVID was around, you know, the lockdowns and all that stuff, that's that's all bible.
You know? The buying and selling,
again, like you said,
the the digital currencies, the one world government, you know, you look at the United Nations, you look at the World Economic Forum, you look at the World Health Organization, all of those entities coming together,
(01:31:02):
dictating how you're gonna live your life. The the the the system is in place. It just hasn't been fully activated yet. It's there for when the Antichrist comes and he is ready to take control. And he's gonna use all those things. He's gonna use all those systems and institutions that are there to to control the world for the three and a half years that he has to control.
Well, it's interesting. Over in Europe, by the way, they now have
(01:31:26):
a
a European public prosecutor's office.
And so what's that? They didn't have anything like that for all the European Union, but now they have it. And what's the post to look at? Financial crimes.
Okay?
Okay?
Financial crimes? Six six six buying and selling? Right.
As you're indicating, a lot of the parts are being put into place.
(01:31:51):
But, again, the end is not yet, so I'm not trying to scare anybody.
But these things are happening, and,
the Bible tells us they're going to happen. You know, Jesus said,
in Mark thirteen thirty seven, he'd list all these things that could happen. He says, watch.
And the closer we get,
the easier certain things could
(01:32:12):
could be. Look. Growing up,
I don't think I've thought much about June or buy control of buying and selling. Credit cards are kind of a new thing that I remember. Mhmm. Not everybody had it. My parents didn't have one growing up.
Okay? I didn't think about any digital stuff.
But now I've gotten closer
and closer, and then you've got all these proposals
(01:32:32):
for,
for CBDCs and other,
other similar type of things. And they're definitely moving in that direction,
and they can shut you off
any place, any time, and for any reason.
Yep. We we don't like your position on this. I I heard you on a podcast. You were talking about this, duh duh duh duh duh duh. Well, you know what? You better change your position and retract all what you just said. Otherwise,
(01:32:55):
we're shutting you off. Or or we're gonna we're going to fine you, and we're gonna take some some of your current your digital currency away. So, yeah, they they can use for anything, and and that's truly, truly scary. And then, of course, you have, you know, all of these
idiots running around putting implants in their hands. I I've seen several videos of these people going into these stores that Amazon runs. Oh, look how great. So easy. I could just beep, scan my hand, and I can, you know, you know, they could shut that off too.
(01:33:24):
Correct.
And what's what's scary even for Americans,
k, some stuff came out that I already knew, but I read it again this week,
that in the last administration,
under a definition of domestic terrorists,
basically, were people who believed in
biblical marriage or Yeah. What it just said about males and females. Mhmm. That makes you a domestic
(01:33:47):
terrorist.
Mhmm. And there's already laws that they can stop a terrorist from doing just about anything. Alright? Correct.
It reminds me. I, I knew somebody who wrote actually, I mentioned, I I I knew a couple of people who wrote a movie called Astronaut Farmer. Mhmm.
And,
Bruce,
Bruce Willis is actually in it. Yeah. I'm familiar with it. Yeah. I'm familiar and anyway, there was an interesting scene that I haven't forgotten.
(01:34:13):
And it was,
he wants,
to build
they wanna build a a rocket of some kind.
And the question is, is this illegal?
And then the lawyer says,
according to the Patriot Act, anything they say is illegal is illegal. Illegal. Yeah.
And so because of that, I,
(01:34:36):
you know, the fact is they can call any of us terrorists at any any point in time. That's true.
The Bible believers are considered
under the previous administration could be considered domestic terrorists because we don't believe in the in the, the the sovereign authority of government. We believe in the sovereign authority of God
that God I I I watched on the History of Discovery Channel, like, twenty years ago. There was an academic.
(01:35:01):
He says, if you believe in the
millennial people believe in the millennium.
They're they're terror they're credential terrorists. Mhmm. Well, I believe Jesus is gonna return and reign on yours for a thousand years. Okay? Amen. But I think he he said, you know, academia is saying that. And so then you've got others who go on the same line as well.
Yeah. It it's it's it's really,
(01:35:23):
it's really scary when you think about, you know, just how much latitude
the government has in who they can determine
are terrorists and who aren't. And and like I said, it could just be as simple as just I believe the Bible is the final authority. I believe it is the is the plenary word of God, I believe that is inerrant in every aspect.
(01:35:44):
Well, you know what? You're gonna find yourself in a gulag somewhere because of that. No. Because government is the final authority. Government is inerrant.
Right. And
getting back to, with the Greco Roman Catholic prophecies Mhmm. What they say is one of one other set of them says, look. What's gonna happen is they're gonna push empire emperor worship. And you read Revelation chapter 13,
(01:36:07):
and you see that the second piece tells people to worship the first piece, and they're all going to do it. Now for our Roman Catholic friends, I wanna make it clear. There's a whole bunch of Roman Catholic prophecies
that weren't about an antipope.
Mhmm.
Roman Catholics
officially say there were about 30 antipopes, and there's another one coming since then. They haven't had an official one for about three hundred about five hundred years. Mhmm.
(01:36:31):
And I read the book of Revelation,
and I see that
who I think will be the final pope,
he is going to betray the Church of Rome.
And, supporters of the beast, the Antichrist, are gonna betray the the
city of Seven Hills, Church Of Seven Hills, Revelation 17 verses 15 through 18. Which ironically enough is Vatican.
(01:36:51):
Vatican City of 7 Hills. I I I wanna make this clearer to, any of your Roman Catholic list
Roman Catholic listeners
that, I don't believe that the final antichrist, who I think will be an antiphobe according
Roman Catholic prophecies and biblical prophecies, I don't think he's gonna believe the Roman Catholic faith. I wanna make it clear. He's gonna betray the Roman Catholic faith. Mhmm. And there's within Roman Catholicism, there's
(01:37:15):
a in my
a a sizable minority who agrees with me in that position.
More and more Roman Catholics are starting to come around to actually reading their Bible because one of the things that I've found I I look. I grew up Roman Catholic. I I was born and raised
I was born and raised in an Italian family from New York. You know, I'm you know,
I have it flowing through the veins.
But,
(01:37:36):
you know, I, you know, I just I just thank God back in, July
July twentieth of '2 thousand. I heard the I heard the word of God, and I fell on my knees on a pier
on on Pier 34 on Canal Street and West Street in Lower Manhattan.
And, I called upon the lord Jesus Christ to save me, and he did. And, you know, he rescued me from that false religion
(01:37:57):
of,
of Roman Catholicism Catholicism. And, I, you know, I
I don't pull punches
talking to my audience. You know, Roman Catholicism is a false religion, and it's all it's gonna do is if you are a strict adherent
to Roman,
to Roman Catholicism,
you are on your way to hell.
Well, I
(01:38:18):
I with with by the way, having the new pope, something that I wrote,
in addition to writing a book about the new pope. One of the things I posted this week was
the patriarch of Constantinople
and the
Roman potter were supposed to get together probably November.
And I pray that they will do what it says in Jude three,
(01:38:39):
contend earnestly for the faith that was once followed by the saints. I wrote a book called, Belize the Original Catholic Church, which, by the way, is also free ebook at CCG.org.
And I document
now that book, by the way, for your listeners, I use Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Catholic translations of the Bible. So they can't accuse me of, okay, you're using something else. No? Almost exclusively.
(01:39:03):
I quote Roman people that Roman Catholics consider to be saints
and scholars
who show they changed this then, they changed this then, they changed this then, they did this.
Now I don't know if you know this or not, but one of the reasons that Roman Catholics originally were not into having statues and icons.
(01:39:25):
In what they called the Seventh Ecumenical Council,
the Eastern Orthodox called that the triumph of orthodoxy.
This is where they got the Roman Catholics to accept icons and the statues.
Now I don't know if you've been to many Eastern Orthodox churches. They're just full of icons. Yes. Roman Catholics has a statue, but not nearly. That is not
Yeah. I That is that is actually that's Eastern Orthodox. I've never been in one, but I've seen
(01:39:50):
many, many pictures and and videos inside,
or
those Orthodox Catholic churches, and and it's it's
beautiful to look at.
No doubt. I'm not gonna deny that,
but definitely misdirected.
Yeah. You're not supposed to to have such things or push such things. Yeah. And there are people they call saints that don't do this.
(01:40:13):
Don't don't don't say that you got this tradition from your fathers. I mean, these are clear. One one of the areas of church history I've really focused on, by the way, is the second century. Mhmm. Why the second century?
Well, because people sometimes tell me, oh, pastor x says this or my priest says this.
And I said, uh-huh.
(01:40:33):
Well, turns out the people who actually knew the language that the New Testament was written in were back in the first and second century. Mhmm. K? They were they they really knew what what this what this was.
And so in the second century, what we have are writings from people who either knew the apostles
or knew people who knew the apostles or knew people who knew the people who knew the apostles. Plus,
(01:40:54):
Koine Greek,
the language of the New Testament, they knew it. Okay?
So they knew what it meant. And so I will quote some of those writings and say, look. This is what early Christians are actually taught. And a lot of times, it's not what people think think today.
Yeah. Also,
the from if I remember correctly,
(01:41:15):
when I was before I got thrown out of Catholic school,
they They never threw me out. I just like I just No. I got I know. I got thrown out. I'll tell I'll tell you really quickly what happened.
My uncle,
who I absolutely adored,
loved,
and in a lot of ways idolized,
wanted to be like my uncle,
(01:41:36):
he he was the first one in our family to leave the Catholic faith,
and he he went he ended up going to Bible college.
Go ahead. He ended up he went went to Bible college
and,
eventually became a pastor in a in a in a denomination. I'm not gonna mention which one.
And,
(01:41:57):
I like I said, I idolized him. I I loved him. I I wanted to do everything that he was doing.
And, when he would come home from from school on his breaks, he would often bring his books, his textbooks, his
others, other reading materials, and he would leave them.
And mind you, I'm only
maybe 10 years old or so.
(01:42:19):
I would read those books. I would read those theology books. I would read the textbooks that he was bringing back.
And,
you know, so I was I was getting something. Not exactly the correct thing because his denomination is not exactly
biblical. Let's put it that way.
There's there's a few there's a few things in there that really are disturbing in in what they teach.
(01:42:43):
But, and he's not part of it anymore. He he left. But he eventually become a pastor there and and,
you know, I I and what he would do is when he would come home, he would take my catechism books
and he would go through them
and he would take a marker, he would x out pages
and then hand write notes, this is not what happened, and he would staple it into the book.
(01:43:06):
And,
you know, I would I wouldn't know, and I'd go to class and open it up, and there's this big thing there, and, you know, I'd get in trouble for that, you know. But but some of the things that he taught me, which are, of course, biblical,
in in truth, like, confession to a priest and,
you know, worshiping Mary and and things like that,
(01:43:27):
those are the things that got me thrown out of the Catholic
out of Catholic school because, I I remember before I I I was going through,
going to make
the the the first communion, you know, the big deal, especially in an Italian home, the big deal, first communion.
And they said, well, you have to go to the priest now and tell you know, confess your sins before, otherwise you can't you can't do it. And I was like, well, why? What do I gotta tell him for?
(01:43:50):
You know? I'm I'm like, what? Ten, eleven, or whatever it was at the time? Yeah. No. That's yeah. That's usually usually seven or eight. So yeah. So okay. So, my dates are a little bit off. But,
so, you know, I'm I'm going through all this stuff and and they were like, well, you have to tell him. And I'm like, but why? He's just a man like me, you know, just a person like I am. Why do I have to tell him what I did wrong? He can't do anything about it.
(01:44:13):
And this is all because of what I was reading in my uncle's books. And then, I got in trouble because because I refused to to to pray the Hail Mary and, you know, and all that stuff. And I'll and I'll never forget I'll I will never ever forget it, the day that the the priest from the church
got so fed up with me
that
(01:44:33):
literally grabbed me by the arm,
pulled me out of class,
outside, handed me to my mother,
and this is what he said and has stayed with me for the rest of my life.
We don't need his kind here.
So
In
in my in my case,
(01:44:55):
when I started to read the New Testament,
I don't know how many chapters I got through of Matthew.
But somewhere past the Beatitudes,
this is, I did not see the Roman Catholic church in that. Yeah. Of course. And so that
that was part of my journey, if I could use that term,
to to see because it's like we're supposed to believe the bible. Mhmm.
(01:45:20):
And so and again, as a Roman Catholic, I was taught, you know,
the church never changed. Basically, what I remember growing up Roman Catholic was this, where the original church never changed. King Henry the eighth wanted to get a divorce. The pope said no. So that caused the Protestant Reformation.
Divorce is bad.
So this these people are just crazy Yeah. Or stupid or whatever term you wanna use.
(01:45:45):
And so that's what I thought until I was, I don't know,
13,
14. I don't know. So when I flipped somewhere in that time period. Mhmm. And then later, I learned more about the what what what went on and, what was what what the other issues were.
And so that that was that was, you know, in my case.
(01:46:05):
I
but then with with various ones, yeah, if you keep quoting the bible and quoting things,
some people don't like that. Yeah. A lot of people don't like that. You know, it's, unfortunate. And it reminds me of that verse, you know, having a form of godliness, but denying the power of denying the power thereof
of from such turn away.
(01:46:26):
Yes. You know, and unfortunately, I see I see a lot of that in a lot of them a lot of, like, not just Catholicism, but a lot of religious
organizations,
religions.
Oh, I I absolutely agree.
You know? And look, I I I'm I'm an independent Baptist. Okay? That that's if I if I was gonna put a denomination to it I mean, anytime people ask me, you know, so what are you? I am a Christian. I am a born again, bible believing Christian. That's what I am. If you wanna slap a denominational tag on it, fine.
(01:46:58):
I'm an independent Baptist.
And,
you know, one of the great things about being an independent baptist is that the denomination
never came out of the Church of Rome.
So it, you know, so it I I it has really no connection with the Church of Rome, like other like Protestant religions. Like, Right. Right. We we right. We we we, for example, to go on to that Mhmm. We don't consider ourselves Protestant.
(01:47:25):
We
consider ourselves that that we hold the original faith. And here's one that might blow your audience away.
We hold the faith of the original Catholic church. Now by the way,
maybe you know this, maybe you don't. The first three times the term Catholic church was used,
it had nothing to do with Rome.
Right. Because the term Catholic
(01:47:45):
There was reference to the church of God in Asia Minor
in Smyrna.
Okay?
And so that's the first three times it was used,
and,
we hold the original faith.
We believe so we're not quite on the independent side. We do believe that, there
(01:48:05):
is a type of apostolic succession, not where you go and have a vote,
that kind of stuff. But we do believe that the apostles laid hands on people who laid hands on people who laid hands on people throughout history. Mhmm. And
I actually looked to see,
for people of,
our type of
(01:48:26):
belief,
those of us, for example, who are seventh day Sabbath keepers. I looked that up. I said, did any of our people come over
on on the boats? Because I didn't know would these people travel on the Sabbath or or or not. And so I found a couple of ships' registries.
Hundreds of them came over. Mhmm. So we we would say that
(01:48:46):
somebody got hands laid, I'm from from back to back whatever. Growing up Roman Catholic, they didn't teach me there could be anybody else
that was there or anybody who preceded them. Yes. I didn't know that. Yeah. That's interesting. That's very interesting. I have a question here actually that, somebody one of our listeners just emailed us, and so it just popped up here. If I if I could ask you this question. Please.
(01:49:07):
Where was it? Have you ever encountered a prophecy that deeply challenged your beliefs or made you reconsider your conclusions?
Probably, but there isn't one that comes to immediate mind.
Yeah.
It's a good question. It's a very good question, but Well, I I I will say this. I know at least two or three times
there was a a prophecy or an interpretation of the prophecy that bothered me. Mhmm. And,
(01:49:34):
I thought, well, maybe I'm wrong then about this. And that
and the ones I'm remembering, I ended up I ended up not being wrong, but there might have been some that I was wrong about. So
there there may have been,
but
there isn't one that I can think of like, okay. That process, you know, that can't be.
I I don't there's there's nothing that comes to my mind that way. Okay. That's fair enough. That's fair enough. Alright. So something I like to do with with with our guests before we wrap up is, I I have, like, four or five,
(01:50:05):
rapid fire questions.
Alright. And these are meant to be fun. So okay.
Most underrated profit in history.
I knew I was gonna get that.
Jesus. I guess. Okay. Wonderful. I I I could agree with that. I yes. Yes.
(01:50:27):
Alright.
One book of the bible that more people should read with fresh eyes.
Well, that's that's tricky.
It is. Galatians comes to mind. Galatians?
Yeah. Galatians comes to mind. Revelation comes to mind. Matthew, in my case, came to mind. It's the one that got me to switch. When I thought about the question, before I I put it down in my notes,
(01:50:52):
Romans came to mind for me. Yeah. That too. I I guess it's it's it's it's
tricky. Yeah. Rome Romans is a Romans is a is
a very theological book. And Yes. It it's something that you you
it's it's not a book that you could say, well, I read it once. I understand it. No.
You you need a lifetime of studying that book to fully get all of it, you know. And it's like peeling an onion, you know. Every time you turn the page, you find something else. You'd be like, oh, I didn't see that before. How come I didn't catch that before?
(01:51:23):
And,
With with Romans. With Romans. Yeah. Probably read it, and I'm not exaggerating, over 100 times. I did a sermon series on it a year or two ago, where I went through every single verse.
Anytime I do that, I can't believe how much stuff I didn't notice the first hundred times I heard. Yeah. And the the one thing about the Bible, the, is is the more I read the Bible, the more I understand I don't know anything about the Bible.
(01:51:48):
Well, there's an expression about
educated people. The more you know, the more you know you don't know. Yeah. There you go. See, See, I don't need a degree. I don't need I I understand it. I don't I have to put little letters after my name.
Let's see. How about,
symbol or sign people misrepresent the most?
(01:52:10):
You won't like my answer on that one. But go for it.
Across.
I agree with you.
I agree with you.
Yeah. I agree with you. I,
one of the things when when I when I first became,
when I first got saved
and I I I went to my house
and I looked around and I saw the crucifix is everywhere.
(01:52:33):
You know, my parents' house, so the crucifix
everywhere. Now there is a difference between a cross and a crucifix, just I don't know if a lot of people know that, but,
the crucifix is with where it has a representation of someone who they say is an Irish looking Jesus.
You know, that's not what he looks like by the way folks.
Alright. Correct.
(01:52:53):
Alright. If you wanna know what he looks like, read the Song of Solomon. It tells you very clearly what he looked like in the Song of Solomon.
But, but yeah, I agree with you on that. I don't have,
I mean, I think I I think I've kinda eased up a little bit on on my, my orthodoxy
on that,
you know.
(01:53:15):
Would I wear a cross? No. Would I display one? Like, no. No. I don't think that's appropriate.
We we we would agree on that. It wasn't
contrary to what people
believe, it was not an original symbol that Christians used. No. They used the Ichthys. I'll tell you what's funny.
I have a moment. They'll tell me, well, but Christian graves were marked with it. They with things like this. Well, according to the the late Roman Catholic,
(01:53:42):
scholar
and archaeologist,
Bellarmine Bugatti,
he said, though those are for the millennium.
That was that was supposed to represent a thousand years. These were not crosses. Oh, wow. This is I didn't know that. Roman Catholic priest.
Wow. I didn't know that. That's interesting. Yeah. Wow. That's awesome. Did you got any more? There were there four? I have one I have one more. I have one more.
Alright. You ready?
(01:54:03):
Guess so. Alright. Put your thinking cap on for this one. If you could host your own dream roundtable
with three figures from religious history,
who's invited?
The apostle John.
I'm assuming I can't bring Jesus in. So,
the apostle John,
Polycarp of Smyrna, that would be two of them.
(01:54:26):
The third,
I think I'd like leucine of Antioch.
Those are those are And Lucene, for listeners, people may have heard of Polycarp. Polycarp was appointed by the apostles to be,
overseer, bishop, past overseeing pastor in Asia Minor.
And
the reason for Lucian of Antioch
(01:54:47):
is what happened was there were two basic schools going on.
There was a school of Alexandria
and school of Antioch.
In Alexandria,
they were allegorous,
which means they didn't believe the bible says what it says. They said there's hidden meanings. You don't believe it literally. Yeah. Lucien was
a biblical literalist like I am. And so he would be the one. You know, those have asked me this question before, but I was just thinking, yeah, how to make it completely different? John who saw the revelation knew Jesus. K. That was easy.
(01:55:19):
Polycarp because he's considered a saint by,
Roman Catholics and Protestants and the Church of God. K? He would be one. Then Lucian, because he went a little farther
and saw what was going on. By the way, even Polycarp
warned about,
the vanity of many. He was seeing false religion false Christianity rising up in his state, by the way. Way. Yeah. But then by the time of Lucy, and it was clearer,
(01:55:44):
and, so those would be the ones. So it's you you mentioned the,
the allegorical
teachings.
So I I I was I was asked by a when I first moved here to Texas,
I was I I had a really hard time finding a church that I was comfortable in. You know? And when I say comfortable, I'm not talking like, you know, I I wanted to hear the I wanted to hear preaching that would make me feel good.
(01:56:08):
When I say comfortable, I mean it may have been too far to travel, like, I couldn't feel involved in everything that was going on with the church. That's what I mean by comfortable.
Alright. So, I found a church
or or actually a pastor of a church that I was attending.
I had talked to him about this, and I told him, I said, listen. I I I just feel like I can't because it was an almost an hour and a half drive from where I lived to the church, and it's like, I don't feel like I can be as involved as I want to be. You know? I'm the type of person that, you know, I wanna be there when every time the doors are open. You know? And,
(01:56:41):
you know, I can't get there on a Wednesday night because by the time I get out of work Right. And by the time I make the trip out there, you're done,
you know. So and he agreed. He was like, you know, I I he goes, I would love to keep you here, but, you know, he was and then he called me one day and he goes, well, I met a guy, a pastor at a we had a pastor's fellowship kind of thing and I met this guy. He he he pastors an Independent Baptist Church where you live and, I gave him your contact information and this is the name of the church, this is where it is and so on and so forth. He goes, I hope you don't mind. I said, no. No. Of course not. I appreciate you looking out for me that way and you're thinking about me like that. That that's a pastor. That's, you know, that that's a good pastor.
(01:57:18):
So, I'm the kind of person that when I'm checking out a new church or I'm gonna go to a new church, I I I kinda reconnoiter the area,
you know. I go
ahead of time, and I kinda scope the place out and see where it is and see what kind of activity is going on around the place before I go. And, maybe I'm crazy. I don't know. But, you know, that's just Cautious? Yeah. Yeah. Well, you know, your faith is Curious, cautious. You you need you need to be careful where you go. So,
(01:57:46):
I checked it out and and it just so happened I I was looking at the property and and this guy comes walking out wearing blue jeans, white t shirt, a baseball cap, cowboy boots,
and he's like, can I help you?
And I was like, he goes, you're on you know, you're on private property. I was like, oh, no. I didn't realize that. I I apologize, you know. And,
he goes, well, what can I help you with? I said, I was just checking at the church. I'm gonna I'm gonna be attending a service here,
(01:58:11):
on this this coming weekend. So,
I was just kinda trying to lay out the lay of the land. I said, do you know who the pastor? He goes, yeah. It's me.
Oh, okay. Great.
And, he invited me into the church and we sat there in his office for about
it felt like ten minutes, but we were there for about three hours.
And we were just talking and, you know, we we had some disagreements, you know, and we had we had some agreements on on theology and doctrine and
(01:58:35):
and what. Well, I shouldn't say theology. Theology we were okay, but but doctrine we were kind of off on a few things.
But not enough that I would say, okay, I can't go here. You know?
So I so I so I started going there, and, I know it's a long story to get to where I was going with the allegorical stuff,
but,
he he he asked me one day if I would mind teaching
(01:58:59):
Sunday school for him for a couple of weeks because
he was gonna be out of town and I'm not saying I'm gonna put my lights on while you're talking. Oh, sure. It's getting dark. Okay. Here we go. So so he he was like, yeah, if if you, you know, would you mind, you know, teaching Sunday school for me? I would I would appreciate that. Or would you would you rather do evening service, you know, Wednesday night service? I was like, well, whatever you like.
(01:59:19):
So I ended up doing the Wednesday night services.
And
I started teaching
out of out of the gospel of John,
and I was teaching through the miracles
in John.
And there are there's a lot of prophecy in those miracles.
(01:59:41):
And
after I did the second one,
he called me
up on the Thursday morning. He was like,
can you come by the office?
I need to talk to you. I'm like, sure. Everything okay? Let's let's talk when you come to the office.
Okay?
So I I get there, and and he's like,
(02:00:04):
so
one one of the members,
he he wouldn't say who,
because one of the members expressed some concern over the material that you were teaching last night.
Okay? What what was the concern? He said you were very,
very allegorical in your approach, and he felt uncomfortable with that.
(02:00:25):
So,
you know, he goes he goes, I haven't listened to it yet because they recorded it.
They record all the services. I haven't listened to it yet. I'm gonna listen to it tonight, but I just wanna, you know, I'm gonna ask you, what did you teach?
So I said, I'll here. Here's my outline. And I, you know, I pulled it off my phone.
And I don't preach from a phone or teach from a phone, but I but my apps are all linked together, so I can just go into the Word app and pull it up.
(02:00:50):
So
I, so I showed it to him, and he was like,
yeah, let me listen to it. And and
sure enough, he listened to it. And on Sunday, when I went to service, he was like,
I appreciate
that you that you put the effort into teaching, but I think
he goes, we don't teach allegorical here.
(02:01:11):
It's not allegorical.
It's prophetic.
Yeah. That's that's a total difference. Yes. Absolutely. But
then again, he went to Liberty University, so I don't know I don't expect Well, so for for the listeners,
the the allegorical
view, for example like, well, we'll talk about on prophecy.
The the the anti millennialists.
(02:01:32):
Those of us who believe the Bible literally, Jesus is gonna reign for a thousand years.
Now some Roman Catholics, they their official position, by the way, is that's already happened. In other sense, they got power after them for Constantine or some nonsense like that. Right. Well, I also read that Satan's gonna be bound for a thousand years. Now you show me a thousand years
that Satan's not on yours. Whether it was total peace, total harmony. I haven't I haven't I haven't seen it. Haven't found any. Okay?
(02:01:57):
And so the allegorical
school said, it doesn't mean what it says. And that's not prophecy. You know, that, you know, prophecy,
is
that that that they've they've
he's put things together that are not relevant. Prophecy is not it's got nothing to do with whether you have an allegorical view. Right. Some people think certain commands in the bible don't mean what they say.
(02:02:21):
That's an allegorical view. It doesn't because it's prophetic or nonprophetic. It's just if if they think the bible doesn't really mean what it says.
Now there are times where symbolism is used in the Bible. Mhmm. Okay?
And,
for example, when we read about the the two beasts,
okay, that or Revelation chapter 13. Mhmm.
(02:02:41):
They're not actually
like
a lamb with two horns.
The guy is not that. Okay? Right. It's because it says like unto.
Yeah. So that means that And the these surprises from the the siege got
10 head seven heads, 10 horns, and all this stuff. Correct.
So that there's symbolism in the bible,
(02:03:03):
but that's not the same as saying, oh, there's really not gonna be a and a false prophet. There's not gonna be an antichrist. Some people say that just because that's all allegorical.
No. It's not. I was watching
one of the,
I think it was the Science Channel.
They had some piece about,
Nineveh.
Mhmm. And then they tried to talk about the bible. It's kinda curious how see how they
(02:03:27):
they do this. They follow the same pattern, brother. The pattern goes like this. We're gonna talk to you about the, Nineveh and what's the Bible say about it correct and all this kind of stuff. Then later, at some point in time, they teach you some more. But basically, it is, well, we don't really think the Bible means was literally true. That's not really a historical book, so we don't really have to believe it.
(02:03:48):
But, you know, there's some some
message from it, and didn't know it was part of that message. I mean, that was Yeah.
That was not literally what they said, but that was pretty close. Yeah. No. I get you. Yeah. They're just getting on the or allegorical side. So Yeah. Exactly.
Alright. Well, doctor Teal, it's,
we're at,
over two hours, so I think
