Dirty Boy Pedals – Brand Overview
From Family Roots to Fuzz Legends
Dirty Boy Pedals was born from the vision of Alex Saraceno—father of guitar prodigy and former Poison guitarist Blues Saraceno. Known for their boutique craftsmanship and unmistakable tone, the original lineup—Afro Fuzz, Germanium Boy, and Buzzy Boy—earned a cult following for their rich, analog fuzz and boost sounds. These pedals found their way onto the rigs of John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Mike Scott (The Waterboys), Neal Schon (Journey), and George Pajon (Black Eyed Peas).
A New Era Under Danny Gomez
In 2024, Dirty Boy Pedals entered a new chapter when Danny Gomez—Madrid-based guitarist, gear designer, and collaborator with names like Queen, Brian May, Fender, PRS, and Orange Amplification—took the helm as CEO. Partnering with CTO Pablo DĂaz de Rada and COO Martha GarcĂa, Gomez brought production to Spain and began blending Dirty Boy’s fuzz-driven heritage with modern innovation.
