Speaker 1 (00:00):
Alright, folks, the
podcast that you're about to
hear.
The event has already takenplace, but nonetheless, this is
a good episode to listen to, tofind out about wrestling and
wrestlers.
And here we go.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
This is the Jose Show
.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
And welcome to
another episode of the Jose Show
.
I am your host, jose Roldan Jr,and we got a treat for
everybody tonight.
We've been preparing for thisshow for a couple of weeks and
I'm going to introduce somewrestlers to you.
They're from the FloridaWrestling Empire, so the first
person that I'm going to bringon is Eddie Page.
(00:54):
Hey, eddie, how are you doing, buddy?
Okay, we just lost your audio.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
You're on mute, hey
there you go, how you doing, i'm
doing great.
What's the not love aboutFlorida?
I love it.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
I love it too.
Okay, we're going to bring onCobra Singh.
Hey Cobra, how's it going?
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Doing good man.
Can you hear me?
Speaker 1 (01:15):
I can hear you.
How are you doing?
Doing good?
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Doing alright, man
Doing alright.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
Alright, and then our
last wrestler is Jason Raditz.
Hey Jason, how's it going bud?
Speaker 4 (01:26):
Pretty good How you
doing.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
I am doing good and
uh alright.
so it's uh, it's an honor tohave all three of you gentlemen
here from the Florida WrestlingEmpire, which is actually going
to be in Ocala, florida, and soif anybody would like to call in
, you can call in anytime andyou know we will stop talking
and we'll take your questions.
That is 813-995-7486 and youcan ask questions of any of the
(01:51):
wrestlers.
But before I start, eddie, whatmade you decide to start up a
Florida Wrestling Empire, like?
what was your, what's your goalfor this wrestling team that
you got going on here?
Speaker 3 (02:02):
You know, actually I
just moved here almost three
years ago and you know, i seethe wrestling, i see the
wrestlers all around the areaand I'm just like maybe we can
get them all together.
But I'm actually from the upnorth and there's also a ton of
guys that are talented anddeserve to be seen and I'm just
(02:27):
like one of you.
Take this batch of North guysand these talented South guys
and put it all together.
I think I'm in a situation thatnot a lot of guys are in,
because I have personalrelationships with people from
up north and so I think I'mgiving people a chance of seeing
fresh I won't even say better,just fresh.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
That's what I'm going
for.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
That's good.
Now, you know it's funny.
Like we talked earlier beforethe show, the last time I
actually watched wrestling wasmicro wrestlers which they're?
I don't want to say the wordmidget, but they're little guys,
little people, and they kicked.
But back in the day I used towatch a Florida Championship
Wrestling from Florida with mydad, with Gordon Soli, wwe,
which was WWF before WCW, and Iused to like Ricky the Steamboat
(03:16):
Dragon Sting.
So I was watching thisfaithfully until I had my second
child and she would watchwrestling with us.
And then next thing, you know,my little kid was performing
wrestling moves.
Literally she was watching itand she was performing it on her
older sister and kicking herbutt and I looked at my dad and
I go.
You know what we can't do this.
(03:39):
I just don't want to.
You know how to get hurt.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
I think we both have
that.
I think you can't help butwatch it and emulate it.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
So it's funny now my
dad's still watching.
So I don't really watch a lotof wrestling anymore because,
you know, with me being in thefilm industry, i try to watch
movies and stuff or episodes ofstuff that people have been in
reading, bios or if it's a bookor something.
So I'm more focused on that.
Plus, i have my grandbaby now,so I'll try to stay focused.
Come on her.
So now I have a question foreach one of you Why did you
(04:11):
decide to actually get intowrestling?
Like what made you want to dothis?
Speaker 3 (04:16):
I'll start off real
quick for me.
My grandmother back in theearly 90s was always watching
WCW until I guess I got oldenough and I started to realize
what was going on.
And I remember the very firstwrestling match I'd ever seen
WCW Saturday night was actuallyEddie Guerrero versus a guy
(04:39):
named Chris.
We all know.
I don't know if we can say hisname, but that's that.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Benoit, can you say
his name, man?
Speaker 3 (04:48):
You can say it, eddie
Guerrero versus Chris Benoit.
And from that moment I justwatched what they did and I
think I got sucked into theathleticism of it because they
actually wrestled.
They weren't characters so much, but they also had a swagger
about them and the way theycarried themselves.
(05:09):
That drawled you in and fromthat moment on, i was completely
sucked in.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
Wow, that's good what
about you, jason?
See, i was the same way asEddie.
We actually trained together.
We was a tag team called theWild Cards.
No one knows I watched withfamily, but the match that drew
me in was a one, two, three kidversus Razor of the Man on the
Raw.
I was hooked after that and Ijust had to try this out when I
got older.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Yeah and Cobra, what
about you?
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Yeah, like you guys,
i grew up watching wrestling man
, had all the video games andall the action figures and
whatnot.
And then I grew up and I had abodybuilding background and I
was acting in community college, doing local theater plays and
stuff, and I figured I'd put twoand two together and you know,
(05:59):
that would help with theentertainment side of it and I
started about four years ago.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Oh, that's amazing.
Now let me ask you a question,to every one of you.
Now.
I know you're wrestling forFlorida Wrestling Empire, but do
you also do other likewrestling gigs on the side for
like charities or anything likethat?
Speaker 3 (06:18):
Me personally.
I'm actually.
I was in the Wild Cards until Igot diagnosed with multiple
sclerosis, so that's why I amstepped out of the ring and I'm
on this side of the table now.
I'm putting these type of guystogether now, okay, instead of
trying to get on shows myselfand but that's my way of staying
involved in wrestling stillkeeping my hand prints in
(06:41):
because I can't there's not alot of guys I can go up to and
be like hey, can I work for you?
you know what I'm saying, so Ijust thought I'll do my own.
I have my own.
There's talented guys likethese two here that are willing
to work for me.
I'm going to give it a try.
There you go.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
That's all you can do
.
What about you, Cobra?
Speaker 2 (07:00):
I'm on the Indies, so
I wrestled with Continental
Championship Wrestling, iwrestled with Coastal
Championship Wrestling Andbefore that I wrestled in
Tennessee quite a bit forTennessee Championship Wrestling
And another one called USA CW,but they went defunct.
(07:22):
It was run by a guy named BertPrentice RIP.
He passed away like two yearsago.
That's where I started.
I started on the Indies inTennessee And then I moved back
to Florida And when I firststarted training with Dory Funk
in Ocala, the first place hesent me was to Tennessee.
Oh wow, he was like you do allright out there.
(07:42):
Danny, fucking, come to FloridaSorry.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
He's a hard foot,
that's OK.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
And what about you,
Jason?
Oh, yeah, I'm active.
I try to wrestle every weekendanywhere from Delaware, North
Carolina, Tennessee, all theseplaces.
And then you're going to see mein Florida in March.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
So you have to stay
pretty active.
That's my home state.
Now, what I forgot to do?
I forgot to mention how I metEddie.
So I'm always I guess the newterm for the New Age trolling.
So I go, look at pages and Itry to see people that are
interesting, that I want tointerview, and I'll go to
different groups and look And Isaw two female wrestlers and I
(08:20):
don't remember their names And Isaid, hey, would you like to be
on my podcast, my live show?
Well, i never heard back fromthem And Eddie sent me a message
And that's how we met And I'mlike that's pretty cool.
So out of this we kind ofdeveloped a friendship And then
I totally forgot what I wasgoing to say.
Oh, and also what I meant tosay earlier Eddie Page is
(08:41):
actually the he's the promoter, the owner, the general manager,
florida Wrestling Empire.
So I should have said that fromthe beginning.
But basically that's kind ofthe history of how I met Eddie
Page.
So it's funny how I wasn't evenlooking at him because I don't
recall seeing him And he gets ahold of me.
So he must have seen what Iwrote, and that's pretty good,
and what I had told everybodyearlier.
(09:02):
And I'm telling this to theaudience.
I try to promote people that doextraordinary things, and to me,
wrestling is extraordinary.
I mean, these guys train andwe're going to ask them a few
questions about that.
They put their heart and soulin for what they're doing And I
give them credit because I meanthey're in the gym working out
(09:23):
whatever they're running,jogging, lifting weights,
punching bags and stuff likethat.
So I give them credit for allthis stuff And I try to promote,
because we all got to makemoney in this world.
No-transcript.
I hate to see any type ofbusiness go out of business, and
so that's why I do what I do tohelp promote business, whether
it's wrestling, whether it'ssomebody that bakes cakes here
(09:45):
in my town or whatever.
That's what I try to do.
Now, one of the other questionsI had for you, gentlemen, and
also if you want to call in live813-995-7486, what is the
training like?
Like, do you eat certain typesof food?
How many hours a day do youtrain?
Is this the only thing that youdo?
Do you have another job or doyou strictly focus on wrestling?
(10:07):
And we'll go with Jason andthen Cobra, and then we'll go
back to Eddie.
Speaker 4 (10:12):
Oh yeah, i train
seven days a week in the gym.
I just got done training withguys that are gonna be on the
show, like Shane Malice.
I was in Anthony Athens.
We was in there getting aworkout in, but I'm always
trained.
I just don't wake up onSaturday and show up to the
venue.
I'm always training.
That's good, that's good.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Cobra, yeah, you know
, i'm lifting weights five days
a week.
I'm in the ring three or fourdays a week, then when I'm not
doing that, it's the diet andcardio.
So it's a full-time job, man.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
Eddie, when you were
doing the wrestling, what did
you used to do?
Speaker 3 (10:50):
I used to have the
same regimen as Raditz.
That was my tag partner, thatwas my tag partner, and so same
life, same, i would say.
The only difference between himand I at the time is I would
have a double cheeseburger fromtime to time.
Oh man.
You guys didn't say that, butother than that same thing.
(11:13):
now, as the promoter, i feellike it's a full-time job
because I steadily have peoplecalling me, contacting me,
asking me questions.
I'm just how I linked with you.
I'm linking with a pizza shop.
Like I have so much stuff goingon constantly that's outside of
the show itself to make it allcome together.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
So you're probably
like me.
I have to now.
I have to keep things down oncalendar to know what I'm doing
day from day because, honestly,if I didn't write it down, i
wouldn't know It's like-.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
I have notes that
notes literally that just say,
hey, contact wrestlers aboutthis, contact production about
this, because it's so much.
And then I have so many curveballs when I have people
reaching out to me that I neverthought I would speak to, but
they're reaching out to mebecause they seem interested in
(12:08):
what we're doing here.
You have a Ricky Santana, callyou a Fidel Sierra, who is gonna
be at FWE.
Call you out of nowhere and say, hey, this looks interesting If
those are your whole mind, because I didn't plan for that.
That's not my notes, so it'sincredible experience.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
I tell you you would
have to say cheeseburger man,
because now I want to doublecheeseburger for McDonald's.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Craziest thing.
I don't eat like that now, butI felt good about it, i guess
because I was in the gym so muchI was like I'll just work it
off.
Speaker 1 (12:45):
Yeah, we're trying to
eat the best.
I mean, my wife tries to cookmore vegetables.
because definitely, if I was toget into ring with either one
of you guys, let me tell you youcould lay me flat in like three
seconds.
trust me, that has happenedbefore when I used to wrestle in
high school.
but oh my goodness.
Now Eddie, question for you Asa promoter of the owner of the
general manager like, what wasit like trying to get all this
(13:09):
stuff set up?
Did you have to buy your ownring or did you rent that?
Or like, give me the mechanicsof everything.
Speaker 3 (13:14):
You know, when I
first thought of it, i thought
I'll get some wrestlers, we'llfind a gym and we'll do it Like.
I thought that even though Ihad been on shows and stuff like
that.
You really don't understand allthe processes like down to
gaining sponsors, gaining thevenue, gaining, you know,
(13:36):
relationships with people tomake the shirts and people.
There's so much more than whateveryone's gonna see March 18th,
but all that matters is whathappens March 18th.
I don't care what it took toget there.
It's worth it, because I knowthat this is going to be the
best independent promotion thata lot of people have had the
(14:00):
opportunity to be a part of,because, based off the talent,
based off everyone's mindset, based off everyone's desire to
have this grow outside of oh man, we hope to be here next year.
Like no, we're planning likethis is going to be a big deal.
I'm trying to get guys likethis How can I be an hour and 15
(14:23):
minutes away from WWEPerformance Center and not try
to get myself to a spot, towhere we're spotlighted and
viewed by them as a breathingground for talent?
I want this for them becausefor me.
I'm no longer active.
So what I can do now and whatare my abilities?
(14:45):
it's help everyone else getthere, And that's why I am.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
That's good.
Like I said earlier, I'mlooking forward to coming on
March 18th and I told mydaughter.
I said, you know, because I'm abigger guy, I said I want to
try to get a blazer and I got aHawaiian shirt.
And I said I want to get someloud pants and I would just want
to walk in because, you know, when I used to watch wrestling,
a lot of the people like the, especially the managers, like
(15:10):
Johnny Hart, he used to dress upall funky looking So I was
dressed up.
Yeah, or Jimmy here, yeah, jimmyhere, and I used to look.
He used to look all funkylooking.
So I want to do that too.
I want to come in and I don'tknow, that's just me.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
Come in and be loud,
make some noise.
Oh, I can make trust.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
Stand down And then
you know when I'm going to be
there in May.
I'm looking forward to that too.
That's going to be prettyawesome, because I've never done
anything like that.
I've done podcasting, liveshows and, of course, acting
like I've said.
So try to comment.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
He's breaking news to
you.
He's breaking news to you.
May is a special event that I'mgoing to have.
Have a release of details on it.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
But Mr.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
Jose, here is going
to join the commentary table.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Sorry about that.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
The commentary is
shot, so we're going to give him
a shot in May and see what'sgoing on.
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Wow.
So, man, this is great.
So you know now, eventually, ifthis thing catches on which I
believe it will, because youknow during this COVID people
had stayed home a lot and I'mglad that people are actually
getting out to do anything, whether it's playing mini golf,
going to watch wrestling andstuff like that If this thing
(16:23):
turns over well which, like Isaid, i believe it will will you
actually do traveling, say liketravel to Tampa set up, or you
just kind of stay based in Ocala?
Speaker 3 (16:31):
So, look, he's
pulling out so much of the
secrets.
huh, no, but I actually amworking on something now that
Tampa is where I want to go next.
That's, that's, that's the hope.
I have a production company, moximedia, attached to us,
signed on, so they're going todo everything production wise
and they have, um, just basedoff their relationships.
(16:54):
They have relationships in Tampaand I think that's where we
want to branch off to next, butwe'll see, because I have,
honestly, surprisingly like Ihaven't even had a show yet, but
I have people approaching mesaying, hey, you should come
here.
So just whatever works out bestfor us and what helps us grow
is where we'll go next.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
Okay, that sounds
good.
Hey, that's close to me.
Like I said, that'll be great.
So, like I said, we're livefolks.
Oh, you got a cat there.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
Do you want to call
in?
Speaker 1 (17:22):
It's a 813-995-7486.
I'd like to hear from somebody.
Okay, so let me ask you guysWho is your all time favorite
wrestler from the past And theymay still be wrestling but I
mean my, my first original likefavorite that had me sunken
super was Razor Ramon.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
There was just
something about him that was so
captivating.
He was so arrogant, soegoistical, so like, but the
thing is he backed it up andthere wasn't so too many of
those guys like that that backedit up A lot of talkers but he
talked and backed it up and Ijust thought he was the coolest
guy ever.
But my all time favorite isChris Jericho.
(18:06):
He has been able to reinventhimself so many times to be
relevant.
I started watching him in the90s and here we are.
I just watched him last week onnational television.
So how can you not look up tosomeone like that?
Speaker 4 (18:20):
What about you, jason
?
Childhood, i'd probably say one, two, three kid.
as a worker, I'd probably gowith a lot of watching of D
Malenko and Fit Finlay.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
I remember D Malenko.
What about you, Cobra?
Speaker 2 (18:35):
Well, when I was a
kid it was sting.
That was my dude.
But as I got older my tastekind of shifted a little bit And
my favorite wrestler now is theold wrestler.
He's an airline pilot nowactually he's retired, but his
name is Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin.
Oh yeah, you remember him.
He used to come out withprecious Yeah.
(18:55):
To me he was just funny as allhell.
That's just my type of guy.
I mean not based purely on hiswrestling.
He was a good worker, but hewasn't the world's most
incredible worker.
But, he had Mike's skills, man.
(19:17):
I like the absurdity of prowrestling, that part of it, And
Jericho's good at that too.
There's times where he doesstuff, man.
That's so ridiculous, but itworks.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
Man, It's funny, It's
a pop, you know Well let me ask
you this So if this wrestlingis like the indie circuit, will
you guys make it up to say WWE,or how does that work?
Because I don't really know,that's a process.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Nobody knows how that
works.
Speaker 3 (19:51):
That's just a process
.
There's people that I knowpersonally that went to WWE to
be an extra and then they endedup being there for years, and
then there's guys that I thinkshould have been signed several
times, that never do.
Yes, sometimes it's who youknow where you are, but I think
(20:13):
I'm in such a golden spotbecause these people of
importance are known to look atindependent shows And I think
I'm so close that at some pointand I think that the buzz for
FWE has gotten far enough, likeI have fans in Miami contacting
(20:34):
me asking for information Ithink it's getting far enough
that they have to hear about usat some point, and hopefully one
of these guys here gets it.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
Oh wow, it is
insanely hard to get into the
WWE.
First of all, let me just saythat, yeah, two years ago I did
get an invite from the WWE andthey had emailed me in like
February 2001,.
And they asked me to come inand do a tryout with like eight
(21:03):
other dudes.
The problem is that I didn'tcheck my email and that shit was
in my spam box and I didn'tfind out till like five months
later.
And even then, when I saw it, iwas like I think it's just, you
know, like some spam orsomething.
You know, somebody made thisshit up or this stuff up.
And it's a second time, man,it's the last time.
(21:27):
But I showed it to my coachesand my trainers and they were
like man, that's that's legit.
Yeah, that's that's them.
And I called them back.
I got ahold of them, but thatlady who was in that position at
the time, that scout, she losther job or she went somewhere
else, i'm not sure, and therewas somebody who replaced her.
(21:50):
I found that dude's informationtoo And I showed him my stuff
and never heard back from him.
Man, so, but, yeah, but I didget A shot at AEW, so I did a
match a few months ago on darkand I trained up there with at
the nightmare factory with CodyRhodes and QT, and QT, like he
(22:12):
pretty much writes the show, youknow.
So if you, if you do well, youknow that he'll notice.
and then with the WWE, they got, they got their people over
there.
I know Dr Tom he's working withlike in WA.
I got some friends who aredoing stuff up there.
My last tag team partner, hisname is Jamie Stanley and he was
(22:35):
he's in the NWA currently.
Oh wow, we wrestled in coastallike a few months back.
So, okay, we're there.
It's just like these people seeus.
It's just a matter of usgetting good enough to the point
where they're going to be like, hey, we want you to come check
you out, You know you gottathink there's only 15 spots on
(22:57):
TV when you think about it.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Yeah, you gotta stay
ready Yeah well, i guarantee
I'll never make it Now.
Let me tell you my wrestlingstory.
A few years back, i want to saymaybe 10 years ago, my dad was
coming back from Puerto Rico tovisit his family And we was at
Tampa National Airport And mydad goes you see that guy over
(23:20):
there, a little short boy notshort, but he's about my dad's
height And he says with theblonde hair, i go, yeah, he says
go ask him if he's a wrestler.
He said he was on my flight Andhe said I asked him and he told
me no, i'm like no, dad, i'm notgoing to mess with the guy, I'm
not going to mess with the guy.
And finally, you know, i get, igrow a set, you know big ones,
and I go up to him and he'swaiting at the elevator.
So I stand right in front ofthem and I said, uh, i looked at
(23:44):
him and I said who are you awrestler Now?
granted, i haven't watchedwrestling in a while And he kind
of turned his head to the left, turned it to the right And he
goes yeah, I'm a wrestler.
And I said who are you?
And he goes.
He just said the first word, craig, and I go Craig the hammer
, valentine.
He's like yeah.
And as soon as the elevatoropened up, man, he darted, he
(24:06):
was gone.
And I'm like, oh my God, I usedto watch you on TV.
The door closes.
So I'm like crap man.
So that was that was crazy.
And then another time mybrother had flew in from
Delaware and my brother, he wasa big wrestling fan I think he
still is And he looked over inthe distance, right where the
(24:26):
people get picked up from thecurbside, and he goes look, it's
the undertaker.
And then he looked and I lookedand I mean this guy was like 10
foot 500 feet tall with a brimhat, and this big old, four by
four suburban comes and picksthem up because he, he darts out
the door when he hears that.
And I'm like crap man, it'slike two wrestlers right there,
You know so that's my wrestlingstory, so that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
It's incredible to
see them because they, you know,
when you watch them they comeoff as the superhero type level
amazing.
And then you see them in person.
It's kind of amazing.
Speaker 1 (25:01):
Yes, it is Now
another question I have for you,
gentlemen What are yourwrestling stats?
So, eddie, when you werewrestling, what were your stats?
like wins.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
Oh man, i will tell
you, we won.
We won tag team championshipsall over the the North area, up
and down, like we were bulletclub when they were red hot like
Tom and Tom Gallows.
Um, we, we, we've, i think.
(25:32):
I think we're probably down themiddle on the winning loss
thing, but I think that thelosses came to some very
important people in wrestling Soit was worth it.
Lessons were learned, I'll saythat from the losses.
Speaker 4 (25:48):
What about you, jason
?
I mean, if I had to go over mychampionships, i'd be here
probably all night.
Um, i'm pretty much lookingforward to uh beating Cobra
March 18th and then uh putmyself in the heavyweight title
pitcher at FW.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
That's pretty much my
sights, alicia there said
there's a video on YouTube face.
There's videos on YouTube andFacebook.
All right, i'll have to checkthose out.
Uh, cobra, what about you?
Speaker 2 (26:14):
Um, i had a good year
last year.
I won like 30 matches.
I lost twice, but I lost onewas the tag team match I was
just telling you about withJamie Stanley.
We were wrestling some dudesnamed the crown, the coastal,
and they beat us, they pinnedhim.
Um, those guys are good man.
(26:37):
And then, um, my other loss isonly one singles loss, to Josh
Woods, and that was on EW darkOh wow.
Speaker 3 (26:45):
Okay, let's go.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
Now, now a lot of
people, um and I've heard this
in the past and they'll see ifyou guys can debunk it They say
wrestling is fake.
Speaker 3 (26:55):
Let me tell you
something Yeah, that like that,
that line, especially for awrestler worker to hear that
it's like disgusting, becauseI've seen plenty, plenty guys
get hurt.
Yeah, so for you to say fake, that's crazy.
(27:15):
I've been on a show tag teamwith the raddits and we're on
next And then at the curtainthey're getting towards the end
of their match and you just hearcrunch.
Guy snaps his leg and half inthe middle of the ring.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
Man.
Speaker 3 (27:32):
And so the whole
crowd.
You hear them gasping or likewhat's wrong, and then we have
to go out right after that.
I don't think anybody in thatroom felt like that was fake.
So that's a.
That's a nasty word.
Speaker 4 (27:46):
I don't like it
Scripted scripted Sure.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
What television show
do you watch?
It's not the real world script, exactly.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
Exactly, so you can
tell that I'm doing my job,
because I do stuff like that.
And I mean no disrespect, because No, no, you're doing
your job.
Speaker 3 (28:05):
You're doing your job
.
Speaker 4 (28:07):
I'm letting people
know, because it's like.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
Now, what do you
think about that, Coburn?
Jason, do you agree with Eddie?
Speaker 4 (28:14):
It really doesn't
bother me.
Half these people can't evenget off their couch while I'm
getting out of breath, so itreally doesn't bother me.
That's me.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
That's me.
I tell people man.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
I tell people when
they say it's fake.
I tell them that it wasn't fakewhen they lit me on fire, you
know what I mean.
Or or countless other people.
How many people have beeninjured or died in the ring?
you know so.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
I remember one time
my dad had told me I don't know
if it was before I was born orwhen I was kid he had went to a
wrestling match and theyactually they were full of size
wrestlers, but I guess they hadone little guy wrestler and my
dad was yelling something at him, stating that I could do better
, or something like that.
And the guy stopped and lookedat my dad.
He says getting a ring and I'llshow you.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
Yeah, we got the same
.
We always say jump the rail, and and that means if they, if
somebody from the audience hopsover, we're allowed to fight and
swing at them.
You know, and nobody's everhopped the rail on me, man.
Speaker 1 (29:19):
Well, definitely in
March.
I am not gonna jump the rail,I'm gonna stay right there
because Good.
Speaker 3 (29:31):
Do what March, march
is gonna be.
It's gonna be very, veryinteresting.
Speaker 4 (29:37):
I.
Speaker 3 (29:41):
I'm very excited for
it because, you know, i get to
bring the ace out, i Get theshow, i get to be the ace again.
That was my persona when I waswrestling and I'm like this is
the rebirth of the ace and andthere's the, the, the level of
talent That's on this show.
Any match that's on this, thiscard, on this night, could be
(30:08):
the final match, could be themain event.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
He's put together a
good roster for real, like he's
got some great dudes from theindies Um.
Davenport T games me and thisguy like I'm six foot two, two,
two thirty five and I know he'slike what?
six something, 240, you know.
Speaker 4 (30:31):
We, we some big dudes
like these people.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
They don't get the
money's worth, that's damn sure.
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (30:36):
I would.
I put these two against eachother because if you want to see
pro wrestling, this is prowrestling when you have two ham
hock man.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
This is legit heavy
weights.
Speaker 3 (30:48):
You heavy weights
like they are.
This is what professionalwrestling is and what it's about
.
And how else can you open Yourshow and your presentation or
yourself then to have two guyslike this, two of the top guys,
on the indies period, whether itbe north or south?
(31:08):
So I think this is going to be,and even the you brought up he
Koba brought up T games.
T games is is on fire here inFlorida when it comes to on the
female side of things, and sothe, even the female match, the
triple threat with T games, ruthie J, who's all got Daisy
(31:30):
kill to Daisy kill, daisy kill.
I trained with him in a Daisykills one of the top ten on the
independence period.
But you can see this guy anyday, pop up, sign somewhere.
Oh Wow, he's that.
This is the level of talentthat I'm trying to have, i'm
(31:52):
trying to bring.
I Want everyone to know whenthey come to FW that they're
going to get a quality show.
I don't want anyone in thecrowd to feel like your dad did
and feel like I could do better.
Speaker 1 (32:07):
Now I got the poster
up here FWE Florida wrestling
Empire, treble and paradise, march 18th, and Doors open at
six, ring bell time at seven andit's at the boys and girls club
and I don't have my glasses on.
But what's the ad I got about?
I can't read what's the address.
It's 800 or 900.
Speaker 3 (32:25):
Yes, he me off the
top.
I know It's boys and cut boysand girls club of Marion County.
So you put a Marion County It'sright off the 200 and Ocala.
There's a perfect Thank you tothe boys and girls club for

Speaker 1 (33:16):
Now, if anybody wants
to get tickets, i'll post the

(33:39):

ways that you can get a hold ofthe social medias.
If you have any questions, i'mFacebook.
Speaker 3 (33:50):
Florida wrestling
Empire on Instagram.
Speaker 1 (33:54):
Cool, cool, cool,
okay so, um now, oh, we got one
thing here, let me bring it up.
Um See, okay.
So, alicia, she wanted to knowabout merchandise.
Are you gonna be having?
She had another one any type, your headers right here.
Any type of merchandise forsale?
Speaker 3 (34:13):
merchandise FW
merchandise will be on sale at
the event.
Also, all my great talent, alot of the talent, let me say
we'll have merch for sale there.
There will be a lot of guys whoare foreign to the Ocala area,
foreign to Florida in general,so these will be some, some
(34:36):
merch.
That will be first time everopportunities.
Speaker 4 (34:39):
Um definitely.
Speaker 3 (34:40):
I would definitely
Come prepared for merch, because
there's gonna be plenty ofmerch from FW to the wrestlers
themselves.
I'm also going to have a lot ofsnow.
Bros will be at the March showselling snowcombs.
So a lot of snow comb will beavailable at the show in jelly
(35:02):
beans cookies They're our bakery.
They will be there andavailable for sale as well.
So I think we're gonna have afun show.
Speaker 1 (35:12):
That's good, that's
good.
So now, um, this is for Cobraand Jason.
um, so I hate to ask you thisbecause you know, sometimes you
never know what's gonna happen.
but out of you two gentlemen, who do you think's gonna kick
butt like who's gonna, who'sgonna wipe up the floor?
I'm just, i'm just curious, who's the better of you two?
Speaker 4 (35:35):
I mean co bird, don't
get me wrong.
He's good, i'm confident, buthe's number two in this FW.
Jay's Reds is number one, i'mconfident.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
I'm confident in my
abilities, that I'm going to
come about with the win.
Otherwise I wouldn't be inthere, man.
Speaker 4 (35:52):
You know.
So that's what it is.
He said he did us what?
Four years?
I've been doing this aboutthirteen, so same body builder.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
Same action class.
We're going.
We're going to find out manWe're going to find out.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
Hey, we have been
doing great.
You guys have been great, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:14):
Yeah, we'll, we'll,
we'll see, we'll see, we'll see.
I mean, don't make me have tojump in there and take on both
of y'all.
Speaker 2 (36:23):
Hey, you're welcome
man, We can make you a triple
threat.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
I, i think March 18th
, i think March 18th Cobra Sing
versus Jason Raditz.
I think that's that'sprofessional wrestling.
That's what a main event ismade of.
We have I mean, what else?
How else can it be?
It's right itself.
I mean, you have Cobra here, you know a little younger in the
(36:50):
game, representing the south, and then we have our
self-appointed veteran, jasonRaditz, from the north,
representing the north.
I think we have ourselves alittle north versus south here.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
It's going to be a
better.
It's going to be a better.
People are going to get theirmoney for it.
They're going to see a show.
I can guarantee that.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
I don't.
I don't know Cobra, but I'mrooting for Jason.
Okay, so you already got aJason fan.
A smart man, i will agree withthis one.
She said, heck, yes, she needssome three X t-shirts.
So I'm, i'm in agreement.
Hopefully you have a couplethree X.
Are you going to have somethree X merchandise for the
somebody like me?
If not, it's okay, i got tolose the weight anyway.
Speaker 2 (37:32):
Yeah, go ahead.
Speaker 3 (37:34):
I'm going to be in
agreement, you'll be.
You'll be taking care you'll.
You'll be alright.
Speaker 1 (37:37):
That's cool.
Well, man, i was really hoping.
I mean, i got my phone here,it's connected.
I was really hoping somebodywould call Um, it's one of those
things, that's it, mess.
Um, i know we had up to eightviewers, but you know, like I
said, people you know, eventhough I promoted, people have
things to do and it willdefinitely get viewed again and
again and I'm sure there'll bequestions posted.
(37:58):
Um, i'd say it's really beengreat.
I'm talking to you, gentlemen,i'm going to be like man, this
is, this is just going to bekick.
I'm going to have to bring somemoney with me because I'm going
to be screaming for everybody, like I want everybody to win.
You know I don't want nobody tolose, but obviously somebody's
going to have to lose, but, man,i'm going to be screaming.
Speaker 3 (38:17):
So, uh, eddie's going
to have to hold me back.
I want everyone to realize, whether they're watching now,
they watch it back that at Marcheighteenths, when you come to
Trouble in Paradise, you'regoing to be screaming.
There's not a single aspect onthis show that makes me think,
(38:38):
hmm, this might not be that good.
No, i'm at this point now Ilook at this show and I think
this is going to be a battle forthe show stealer, because
anybody on this card and I meanthe females, the tag team match
anything.
I mean Jacob Evelyn is going tobe the best segment in Florida
(39:04):
wrestling history.
You.
I just think it's going to bean incredible, incredible
produce show.
Thanks to Moxie media for theirinvolvement in everything that
you're going to see that night.
This is absolutely incredible.
It's going to be incredible.
Speaker 1 (39:19):
That's good.
Do you want to go ahead and saythe people that have sponsored
the?
Speaker 3 (39:23):
show.
The, the businesses I just wantto say that was one of the
first to jump on Eaton's Beachhere near Ocala has been
wonderful.
Um, brick City, drift in theircars and everything that they do
.
They're big in the productioncompany as well.
(39:45):
Um, i have Noble Wireless Group.
They are the big one.
They are the big one on it.
They uh there's AT&T andthey're the big one on it.
They're the big one.
Uh, very thankful for them.

will be as well as Jelly Bean, will be at the show March 18th
(40:08):
selling and you'll be able tobuy from them and uh, leveled
out stomp grinding.
They have been also.
They've been very supportive.
They've been there.
Um, each of them have that beenassigned to match at their
sponsoring and everything.
This is just going to be anincredible event.
It's a great area and I Ireally want to be that for this,
(40:30):
