On today’s show, Josh dives into the horrific terror attack in Australia and tears apart the Left’s knee-jerk calls for gun control—arguing they completely miss the real threat staring us in the face. He breaks down why the warning signs for an attack like this were obvious to anyone willing to look. Josh then turns to Brown University, where two people were murdered over the weekend, and explains why the same tired gun-control rhetoric won’t save anyone there either—especially with the suspect still on the loose. Finally, Josh responds to Megyn Kelly’s recent on-air swipe at him and exposes what her attack really reveals about her priorities and worldview.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Tragedy strikes a HBBAD Hanika celebration down in Sydney, Australia.
US soldiers murdered in Syria for the first time in
six years, a horrific shooting at Brown University. Just an awful,
violence ridden weekend. In general, there's something of a common
denominator weaving its way through these various storylines. We will
unpack that and much more in today's episode of The

(00:21):
Josh Embers Show.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Well.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Unspeakable tragedy striking in the heart of Sydney, Australia on Sunday.
A terrorist attack and yes it is a terrorist attack,
happened at Bondai Beach, one of the most well known
beaches and not the single most well known beach in
the entire nation of Australia, one of the more iconic
beaches in the world. I do not think that as

(00:48):
much of an exaggeration. So Kabad, which is an Orthodox
Jewish organization, like many other Jews, I have been very,
very familiar with Kabbad over the years. I attend their
synagogues with some degree of regularity. Very well known organization,
and the HBBAD outlet there in a Bondai Beach hosted
this a large event on the beach. There were daytime festivities,

(01:10):
there was an ice cream truck, all sorts of children's games,
ultimately culminating that evening and the ushering in of the
actual first evening of Hanukkah and what was supposed to
be the lighting of the minora of the iconic candle
Apram that is the universal symbol of the Hanakah holiday.
And tragically those who were congregated there at Bandai Beach

(01:31):
and not get that opportunity because there was a father
and son, a father and son, a father who initially
came over from Pakistan on a student visa and the
son who was born there in Australia radicalized. Pakistani's father
and son d a shot up and murdered. As of
this count and estimated fifteen people. That number tragically could rise.

(01:51):
We of course earnestly pray that it does not do so.
So at least fifteen people murdered, forty injured. The graphics,
the images, the video absolutely appalling, horrific stuff really was.
It reminds you, it has to remind you of the
Nova Music Festival. Frankly on October seven, twenty twenty three,
and it's just awful, It is just unspeakably awful. Among

(02:13):
those who are murdered, you had a Holocaust survivor who
was murdered. He was murdered actually apparently when he was
protecting his wife. He dove over his wife to protect
her from the Muslim assassins of bullets, and he perished. Incidentally,
this is the second time that a Holocaust survivor has
been lethally targeted and indeed killed actually by a radical

(02:35):
Muslim fanatic, just this year. If you have a long
enough memory, you might recall that in Boulder, Colorado, back
in May or June or so, there was a Jewish solidarity,
a hostage solidarity gathering in Boulder, Colorado, the infamously liberal
suburb of Denver, Colorado. And at that time you had

(02:56):
an Egyptian national, radical Muslim who took a Molotov cocktail
and ended up burning a ton of people, including murdering
a Holocaust Survivor's another first time that a Holocaust survivor
has been struck by a radical Muslim terrorist attack. Just
this year. The assistant rabbi I believe he was of
the actual Habbad of Bondai Beach was tragically murdered as well.

(03:17):
He leaves behind a wife, children as young as as
just a couple months old. It is heartbreaking stuff and
it is truly heart rendering stuff.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
There.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Perhaps the saddest part of all, and the most frustrating
part of all, is that this massacre, and yes it
was a radical Muslim massacre, yet another one, the deadliest
terrorist attack, the deadliest active mass violence in Australia since
the Port Arthur massacre twenty nine years ago. We'll get
to that in just a second. Also the most lethful
attack against the Jewish people since October seven, twenty twenty three.

(03:51):
Not that all of those who were slain were Jewish,
by the way, It's been pretty much impossible to try
to figure that out, but it certainly seems that it
was a mix of Jews and non Jews, Christian etc.
Who were slain their Bondai Beach. Again, there was a
hubbat events for the first night of Hanukkah, and there
certainly were plenty dozens, hundreds, maybe thousands of Jews that

(04:14):
were congregated there. But it is just an extremely popular,
well known towards attraction there, and the fact that you
have radical Muslim terrorists striking in the heart of this
iconic beach, in the heart of Sinney is just an awful, awful, awful,
awful thing, not just from a human perspective, which it
obviously is. And as we say in Judaism, may God

(04:34):
avenge their blood. That's actually what we traditionally say when
you have Jews who are murdered for their Judaism. So
if someone just passes away, you typically say, may his
memory be a blessing. But when someone is murdered because
of their religion and therefore they achieve martyr status, we
actually say, may God avenge their blood. That sign might
sound a little old school for those with virgin ears,

(04:57):
let's say, but that is what we say, and we
happen to mean it when we say it. But again,
the victims here where we're not just Jewish. And that's
kind of the broader point that I would like to
make here is twofold one. On the one hand, this
was tragically, completely unsurprising, totally unsurprising. I did an event.
I did an event maybe a year and a half

(05:17):
two years ago with an organization down there in Australia,
a Virtual Zoom event. This organization is called the AJA,
the Australian Jewish Association. They are a group of right
wing conservative Jews there in Australia. They are profoundly opposed
to the left wing Labor government under the horrific, horrific
leadership of the absolute adult, ignoring us of a Prime

(05:38):
Minister Anthony Albanies, who has gone above and beyond, above
and beyond to demean and to belittle and to fail
to secure the basic civil, moral and human rights of
the Jews there in Australia. That is non exaggeration. They've
been glaring five alarm fire, massive warning signs of this

(05:59):
for years, years and years. When my wife's best friends
and her husband live in the Melbourne Australia Jewish community
in Melbourne has I think I believe it's actually an
even bigger Jewish community than Syney, Australia. There was an
arson attack and a synagogue in Melbourne, Australia, another kosher
food kitchen that was targeted by the way both of
those attacks and ended up being we subtly learned were

(06:21):
state sponsor attacks by the Iranian regime. So there was
there was foreign Muslim orchestrated terror in in Australia. And
what I've heard from my wife's friends there, what I've
heard from this organization a JA, the Australia Jewish Association,
just from all sorts of others there. My good friend
Dave Rubin recently did two weeks down Australia where he
was taking his show on the road to both Melbourne

(06:42):
and Sydney. I heard this from Dave over and over
and over and again. Everyone talked to there. They were
screaming about the rising threat of radical Muslim Muslim extremism
they are in Australia, and the fact that this horrifically
left wing anti Semitic pro Arab government, the Albanese governments,
was doing nothing, literally nothing to secure the Jewish community naturally. Again,

(07:02):
if you recall, Australia was actually one of the leaders
three months ago at the September gathering of the Nine
Nations General Assembly, Australia was one of the leaders trying
to push the Palestinian statehood narrative. Australia did that along
with the liberal Carnei government in Canada, the liberal Starmer
government in the United Kingdom, Macrone's friends, and various other kuntries. Well,

(07:22):
Australia was right there. Do you not see the direct
correlation that when you push the reventious hegemonical subjugationists, ahistorical
and historically illiterate narrative of so called alleged quote unquote
Palestinian Arab nationalism, do not see the direct fault line
between that and murder? When you say globalizing depada, that

(07:45):
is what globalized the indefada looks like. Globalize the Intpada
looks like a Pakistani father and a son. They're on
Bondai beach mowing people down. That is globalizing defada. Globalizing
defada is what happens when in Washington, DC earlier this
year got those two Israelly embassy staffers murdered by a

(08:08):
free Palestine students were justin Palestine, radical Marxist communists from Chicago.
That is what globalized the into Fada looks like. Unless
you think that globalized the Intofada is just coming for
the Jews, I assure you that it is not just

(08:29):
over the weekend. As well, they stopped another imminent Christmas
market slaughter in Germany, Christmas market Christians in Germany from
radical Muslims. Stop me if you think you're having deja
vus you're not. This actually just happened last year. In fact,
it's happened many times in Europe over the past ten
to fifteen years, especially since Angela Merkel, in all of
her utter idiocy, let in a million plus Syrian quote

(08:51):
unquote refugees aka male economic migrants around a decade ago.
So there was another horrific attack just last year. This
happens actually in a German market in a town called
Magdeburg that killed six people a time. Just over the weekend,
German intelligence, coordinating with some other foreign stand intelligence, stopped

(09:12):
another imminent Christmas market slaughter. This one was believed to
have been planned for the Munich suburbs so in southern
Germany Bavaria, the Munich suburb of dingolfing landaut And this
involved three Moroccans, an Egyptian and a Syrian national. They
were all detained on Friday over planning to target a
market in Bavaria in southern Germany. By the way, the

(09:34):
Egyptian who was believed to be the ring leader of
this was actually an emam at a local mosque. Now
taking it back to Bondai Beach, Australia, it is true
that one of the individuals who bravely and courageously and
I am not be leading this in this size. This
is genuine human courage. One of the individuals who stopped

(09:55):
this slaughter after allegedly the police just stood on. We're
hearing a lot of mixed reports that about it is
how the police failed to take appropriate action in the
heat of the moment there in Australia. Will continue to
come back to the story as we glean more information,
but I'm starting to see a lot of reports and
indeed some images on Instagram and videos are reels of
the police just standing around as the shooting gun underway.
That's rather cres put in mildly. So as the shooting

(10:17):
in Bondai Beach starts, you do have one individual, a
Muslim guy named Auchment Ahmed. He is a local fruit
stand vendor who actually then tackles the assailant, not armed himself,
manages to rest the gun away. He is now hospitalized
with some minor injuries. We wish him nothing but a
full recovery because that is a heroic action there. And

(10:37):
I have seen a lot of folks now start to
say that this is this is actually Islam, that what
akamedal Achman did is actually Islam there? And rather, what
the what the what the Pakistani national assassin and his
Australian born Pakistani immigrant child son did that that is
not actually Islam. In fact, there is a member of

(10:58):
the British Parliament, a muzzle promontarian in Westminster, in the
name of Annan Hussein, who said the quote the horrific
terror attack of Bandai Beach should not be exploited to
vilify a faith or its followers. The only Islaman display
was embodied by Ahmed as opposed to the actual assassin
and his son, Navid Akram and Khalid al Nabulsi. That

(11:20):
strikes me as a highly suspect claim. All you have
to do is go back and look at what radical
jihadis say in the moment that they are committing atrocities.
They say Ala hu Akbar is what we know they
say because they we hear it, they film. It is
a universally known thing that when a radical Muslim commits
acts an act of jihad, he is saying Al hu

(11:40):
Akbar all praise to Allah. Does that sound like someone
who is not acting according to how he sincerely believes
that what his religion preaches him. We're not going to
do a deep dive on chronic interpretation on this particular
episode the Josh Hammer Show, but the Qoran is replete
with examples of this. The Qoran commands in pretty explicit

(12:05):
terms that you shall quote kill them wherever you find them,
speaking of infidels Morge generally and above all the Jews,
who are repeatedly singled out by the Koran and by
the Hadith the ritus around the Koran as the enemies
of Islam. Indeed, Chapter five, verse eighty two says that
the Jews are the worst enemies of the Muslims. This

(12:27):
is all throughout the so called religion and peace. It's
all throughout there. Unfortunately, the immediate reactor that we've seen
from the atle brained left wing Prime Minister Anthony Albanese
and the rest of the sclerotic leadership there in Cranberra.
They are now talking about greater gun control, as if Australia, Australia,

(12:48):
aust freak, Australia does not have enough gun control. For
those of us who have follows the second men of
debate closely here in the United States, Australia is like
these singular entry that the American left most loves to
point to as embodying what their gun confiscation program looks like.
Because the last time that Australia had a tragedy on

(13:11):
this scale the Port Arthur massacre back in April of
nineteen ninety six, in which thirty five people were killed
in additional twenty three or wounded. It is to this day,
unless the Bondei Beach death toll exponentially arises, that Port
Arthur or twenty one years ago remains the deadliest mass
shooting in Australian history. So after that, the Australian program
infamously commences a massive national gun confiscation program, one of

(13:36):
the largest in modern world history. They are infamous for this.
The National Firearms buy Back Program, which ran for about
a year from October nine ninety six through September nineteen
ninety seven, retrieved nearly seven hundred thousand guns. There was
also an additional handgun buy back in two thousand and
three that retrieved an additional sixty nine to seventy thousand guns.

(13:59):
Give her to they compensated the gun owners because Australia's
Constitution does not have a second Amendment, so they can
actually do this on their own constitutional terms, as long
as you provide just compensation by whatever version of due
process they have there and just didn't stop this massacre.

(14:20):
The notion that gun control is a solution in Australia
is so wildly out of touch with what Australia actually
is and the laws on the books that one barely
even knows how to begin going about confronting this if
this can happen in Australia. Simply put, the issue is
not guns. The issue is something else. Wink wink, nudge, nudge.

(14:43):
I think you probably know what that something else is.
Here a cenator at Bill Cassidy over the weekend on CNN,
talking about this exact issue.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
I would say that after the shooting and Texas and
the Valdi Congress passed a Safer Communities Act on a
bipartisan basis, that I create many things that would address
all the issues of which she speaks. Now, if she's
going to say, wait a second, we need gun control laws,
there is the also shooting we just occurred in Australia

(15:11):
in which there are gun control laws, and yet this
still occurred. Again, we don't know the facts of this,
but in the Avaldi shooting, we addressed not just mental illness,
but also background checks, also the girlfriend loophole, other things
that would attempt to address this. And I would argue

(15:32):
that if the facts are known, you will see the
Congress has acted.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
So Cassie, they're talking about not just the tragy in Australia,
but also the shooting in Brown University, which we'll get
to hear in just one of moments. But he's clearly
credited that gun control is not the issue. It's Australia.
It is like the Bernie Sanders far left, aoc Jasmine
Crockett fantasy. I mean, this is like their dream land.

(15:57):
Their utopia is Australia where you where you have no
segmenting and you literally go about buying back all the guns.
And it happened because the issue is not the guns.
The issue are the radical Muslims, the Muslims who commit
acts in the name of Islam, in the name of Allah,
who think that they are acting according to the dictates

(16:18):
and tenants of their faith, whether you would like to
think so, whether you would care to acknowledge it or not.
That is why this keeps on happening. Center Bill Hagerty
of Tennessee had a much more sober assessment. Let's go
ahead and watch Center Hagerty from over the weekend as well.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
Well. It's again a shocking revelation here of what's happened
in Australia. There have been many complaints about the immigration
policies there in Australia. I think that the government there
is going to have to address this head on. There's
an amazing amount of anti Semitism around the world that
we're seeing emerge. Again. You mentioned social media activating it,

(16:56):
but there have been massive movements of people that absolute
I want to see death Israel and death to America
for that matter. This transpiring in Australia at a holy time,
at the beginning of Hanukkah is just shocking. Again. We
need to get to the bottom of it. The Australian
government needs to come together and stop this sort of

(17:17):
antisemitic behavior. And as the United States of America the
leader in that region, we need to be supportive of
these efforts.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
Folks, If guns were the issue, then we wouldn't be
stopping these Christmas market attacks in Germany where the weapons
are not guns but vehicles. How many Christmas market car
ramming attacks have we had in Europe over the past
decade and a half two decades, You're literally about to

(17:44):
have one more. Heck, it's not just Europe. There was
another car ramming mass Jihattis slaughter on Bourbon Street in
New Orleans last New Year's Day in the wee hours
of the morning, around two thirty three in the morning
local time, New Orleans. A radicalized muzzle and a lone wolf,
as often said from Houston, Texas, drives to New Orleans,

(18:07):
takes his car guzzles down people, most of them over
on Bourbon streets. You want to have common sense car control,
common sense knife control. What is this? The issue is
a stubborn refusal to recognize that not all cultures are equal,
Not all cultures are equal, not all values, customs, folk ways,

(18:29):
ways of life, ways to express your religion. It's a
beautiful time of the year where we have just started
the Hanakah holiday. Jews are expressing their faith. Christians have
Christmas coming up very imminently here. They will be glorifying
and expressing their faith. And a lot of Muslims are

(18:50):
now mowing people down. Is that their way of expressing
their faith? I don't particularly care what the answer is.
I don't particularly care what you think the answer is.
The relevant point is that they think they think that's
the answer. It's just utterly a point. And also this week,

(19:11):
and I mean talk about a confluence of events, two
US soldiers and a civilian interpreter murdered in Syria. These
are the first US Armed forces deaths in Sirius in
twenty nineteen, killed by a suspected ISIS infiltrator inside what

(19:32):
was supposed to be an Allied Syrian fighting force. Well,
that's deeply problematic. We're talking just the other day about
al Shara, the former pripateetic al Qaeda Jihadis turned statesmen
into Maascus. How many more infiltrators, whether it's al Qaeda
or ISIS do we have on the prow now in

(19:53):
Syria the same regime that plenty of Westerners, unfortunately, including
the trumpministration, are now recognizing as being now Western aligned.
We're getting rid of these Caesar sanctions on Syria. Horrible,
absolutely horrible. May these soldiers' memories be an absolute blessing.
It is just horrific, horrific stuff, horrific. Another act of

(20:16):
violence as well at Brown University over the weekend. It
was they were preparing for a final exam for an
economics course, and in the final review session before the
final in the economics course, someone goes in there and
starts shooting. At least two dead, these nine others wounded.

(20:40):
The original individual who's arrested has since been released. So
a total failure of law enforcement eureally reminiscent to an
extent of those first hours. Indeed, that first day, day
and a half or so after Charlie kurssassination in Utah
September where they initially brun the wrong person and released
him as well, So in early time, total failure of

(21:00):
law enforcement in Providence, Massachusetts. Now it's worth noting, it's
worth them Now, we don't know who the individual was here,
we don't know the motive or anything like that, but
it is worth noting that this class and this class
was clearly targeted in an obscure building on Brown University's campus.
Is worth noting that the professor, the professor who was

(21:23):
teaching this Principles of Economics introductory course is a Jewish
woman named Rachel Friedberg. She is a professor in economics
and also a faculty associated in the Brown University program
for Judaic Studies. Now again we don't have the suspect
by definition. This is due to the early failure of

(21:43):
law enforcement. God willing, we will find that some of
you know what and chargeman arrest him asap. But it's
hard not to connect the dots. It's hard not to
speculate that this very well might have been a motivating
factor or the motive mating factor perhaps in this particular tragedy.
We will learn more soon. By the way, another related

(22:07):
thing breaking over the weekend as well as if that
was enough for you, The Telegraph, the esteemed British newspaper,
has a new story out about how Joe Biden's administration,
including the President himself, Joe Biden, blatantly and brazenly ignored
glaring warnings about evacuating thousand thousand Afghans during so called

(22:29):
Operation Allies Welcome during the Box withdrawal from Afghanistan back
in twenty twenty one. As The Telegraph reports, Joe Biden
quote prioritized mass migration over security, and he repeatedly disregarded
warnings from those within his administration who were warning that
there were terrorists within the batch, and that contakes me

(22:52):
to the broader point that I want to make here,
which is this. We speak on the show sometimes about
the category versus the individual when it comes to Islam
and American constitutionalism, or Islam and Western civilization more generally,
at a categorical level, speaking of two things more in
the abstracts. When you look at the stipulated principles, what

(23:14):
they stand for, what they embody, what they exude, how
they interact, et cetera. There Islam is categorically incompatible with
Western civilization more broadly and American constitutionalism more specifically. There
is no way to try to square the circle of
what a lot of radical Muslims believe the Qur'an to commands. Again,

(23:36):
you can say that's not authentic Islam. I can say
that I don't give a crap because they think it is.
There's no way to square that circle of what they
think they are commanded and compelled to do in the
name of Shria, supremacism, various forms of both soft and
hard subjugation. There's no way to square that circle with

(23:56):
the biblical ecumenical inheritance, that is, Western civilization more broadly,
and the specific form of that that has taken root
on this continent since the American founding two and a
half centuries ago. You cannot square that circle. It cannot
be squared. That is not to say bring us back
to this hero in Sydney, aukamanal Akamed. Thats not to
say that there are not individuals who will assimilate, who

(24:21):
will adopt Western values in a Western mode of thinking,
who will think like Westerners and not the crack whole
countries whence they can. That's not to say that those
individuals don't, because they obviously do. We should praise them.
We should laud them when they are heroes like aucmanal Acmed.
But you set public policy not at the individual level.

(24:42):
By definition of establishing laws and probleging laws and passing
public policy and legislatures and executive offices around the world.
You have to set policy at the level of the
categorical because because you cannot micromanage at an individual level,
you just can't. That's not how public policy work, it's
not how law works. So it is pastime. As you've
heard Sener Hagerty say a few minutes ago to Maria

(25:03):
Bartoomo on Fox Bizo over the weekend, it is pastime
is now were never to stop. But the delusional civilizationally
suicidal malli coddling of an entity Islam that is not
categorically compatible with us. Get those deportations ramming up. For

(25:24):
everyone here who is not already a citizen and who
has some sort of loyalty to a terrorist organization or
professed expressed loyalty to foreign terroist groups, the ones who
slip through the cracks, they're out there, they are myriad actually.
And yes, for those even who have acquired citizenship illegally
because they lied on the sensitive paperwork on their application

(25:47):
that they actually still harbor allegiance to a foreign terrorst entity,
we should commence denaturalization proceedings accordingly under Title eight to
the US Code. It has to be done a definiti
by definition on an ad hoc case by case basis.
But trust me, those situations absolutely absolutely do exist. But
again I'm just putting a bow on this extended conversation.

(26:07):
There made the blood of those slain in Bondai beach
over this weekend be avenged. And may may all the
Jews out there I wish you a happy Honukkah honkakah Smyok,
one of my very favorite holidays. We're going to talk
about Hanakah lot actually on tomorrow's episode of Josh hammershow
we're going to bring on a rabb by Stephen Berg
of Aish, a well known Jewish outreach organization, for an

(26:30):
extended back and forth about the holiday of Hanukkah. So
being the lookout for that there and I will just
say this, make sure that as you are lighting the
menora this week to celebrate Hanukah, that you are thinking
about those martyrs, because yes, in Jewish terms, they are
literal martyrs down in Bondi Beach, Australia. Think about them,
Honor them, and don't shy away. Continue to double down

(26:53):
and be that light today more than any day this week,
more than any week this year, more than any year. Now,
more than ever you can, you should, You must be
that light amidst the darkness. I guarantee you that this
isn't Kabad Rabbi who was murdered because of his faith

(27:13):
over the weekend at Bandai Beach, who leaves behind a
wife and a two month old baby. I guarantee you,
guarantee it, that's exactly what he would have wanted to
do that, and God William mayor public policy leaders in Washington,
d C. And Brussels and elsewhere recognize the gargantuan Islamic

(27:34):
problem that is happening all through Western civilization. Lest America
go down the awful, awful rabbit hole that is increasing
golfing Western Europe. And this weekend struck getting another fatal
blow at Bondai Beach is Sydney, Australia. Speaking of the
Hanukkah holiday again. We're going to go at length on

(27:55):
this on tomorrow's show, but to briefly briefly recap the
Honkkah story as BIVI of a segue to where I
want to say this conversation next. The Hanaga story involves
an attempt by the Hellenistic Greek Assyrian Seleucid Empire to
wipe out Traditional Temple era Second Temple era Judaism in

(28:18):
Jerusalem in the Land of Israel, to destroy the temple
to reconsecrate it according to the pagan deities of the
Hellenistic Greek Assyrian culture, and part of the story ends
up also being a Jewish civil war between the ardent
traditionalists the ardent nationalists. You might even say the ardent Zionists, frankly,

(28:40):
of the Maccabees, led by Jude the Maccabee, on the
one hand, who sought to and successfully sought to conserve
and preserve their traditions, their customs, their focused from one
generation to the next, versus other Jews who were the
Hellenized Jews, the assimilated Jews who volunteered to go into
the oppressors, the cells of the Empire, and the Greeks
Syrian oppressors above that, I couldn't help but think of

(29:05):
this powerful imagery, and specifically this element of Jewish civil
war that is part of the Honka story, a lesser
told part of the story. I couldn't help but think
of that when I was watching this clip on The
Megan Kelly Show on Friday. We're not going to play
this clip because I don't want to give this any
more airtime than it frankly deserves. But essentially what happened

(29:26):
was you had failed comedian and purported a leegend quote
unquote Jue Dave Smith, who I have debated twice back
in February at Prince of University for a Steamboat Institute
event in New Jersey, as well as the better known
Charlie Kirk moderate event at Turning Point USA's Student Action
Summit in Tama, Florida in July. I've debated this absolute

(29:49):
dim wit twice, Dave Smith, who is a failed comedian.
By the way, I actually tried to watch Dave Smith's
comedy Ones. It's not a Netflix. I had to look
it up on YouTube or somewhere else. I turned it
off after like three to four minutes. I mean, do
can't tell a joke to save his life. He's frankly
just profoundly unfunny, which I suppose is why he is
now moonlighting as some third rate you see your D

(30:11):
list libertarian quote unquote intellectual. I mean really, it kind
of shows you just how far the libertarians have they
go to kind of scrape the bomb in the barrel
to find some quote unquote intellectuals here, because this guy
is one and a half to two standard deviations below the media,
and I Q on a good day, Dave Smith is
is someone who is a fart in the wind, a

(30:31):
fart in the hurricane. As as Mark Levin recently said
of Neil Patel Tucker, Carlson's long time and business partner,
who unfortunately as follow Tucker down this particularly feeded rabbit hole.
He has gone. As Mark said of Neil Dave, Smith
is frankly just a pimple on a camel's ass, and
we will not spend more time on him than need big.
But to Megan Kelly, he starts, he starts griping, starts

(30:54):
groaning about Josh Hammer, among others. And now Josh Hammer
was telling lies about Charlie Kirk. No he wasn't. I
have not told a single lie about Charlie Kirk, not
a single one. Smith is also talking about how he
was talking about how back at our Turning Point USA
debate back in July, which took place over five months ago.

(31:14):
By the way, over five months ago. Smith is still
on Magan Kelly's show talking about how we were a
chummy backstage and then Josh was such a such a
such a jerk on stage.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
Oh crimea river.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Wait, how childish. First of all, I mean this happened
over five months ago. So I am literally living rent
free in this pimple on a camel's asses head, which
itself is. He is deeply humorous to me that he
still think about this. I don't think for a second
about Dave Smith. What it's worth. I regret I'm even

(31:50):
saying his name so much. I'm focused now mostly on
Tucker Carlson, Candice Owens, and as we will get to
into a second increasingly unfortunately Magan Kelly. But Dave Spit
apparently thinks a lot about me. Okay, whatever, that's your problem, dude,
talk to your therapist. God knows you need one. So
he's talking about that. He's talking about how I was
lying about Charlie Kirk. No, he wasn't. I literally wasn't.

(32:11):
As I said repeatedly, I was on this zoom call
with Charlie the night before his horrific assassination. Charlie called
in me, Rabbi Paysock, we'll me in a couple others
to literally talk about messaging advice for how to go
on college canvases and best try to convey the pro Jewish,
proiginal message in this twenty twenty five twenty six academic year. So,
contrary to all the garbage that you hear from the conspiracists,

(32:37):
from Candice, Allwins and Tucker and all those idiots, Charlie
Kirk really did remain. He cared a lot by maintaining
the excumenical Jewish Christian biblical alliance until the very end.
I know that because we discussed it every single day
towards the end. So no one is lying about Charlie

(32:57):
Kirk other than Dave Smith and people like that. Incidentally,
Erica Kirk actually sitting down with Cannis ol Win stay,
I'm not sure it's the best idea, to be totally
honest with you. Erica could, of course do whatever she
wants to do. I'm not sure frankly, it's the best idea.
I wish nothing but the best. I hope that she
records this conversation because I think Candace is probably gonna

(33:17):
lie her rear ends off about it afterwards. If I
had to give, yes, Candace is a demonic mental patient
who does not, frankly deserve Erica Kirk's time. But if
Erica wants to give for the time of day to
talk about what exactly, I mean to talk about, why
Candas is saying the most insane, horrific things magual about
this grieving widow. Again, that's her rights. I don't really
necessarily see the point of it, but that is also

(33:39):
happening today and hopefully it's recorded, because I want to
watch the full thing and not read the readout of
it act words, because I just literally do not believe
what Cannis will say about it. That brings it back
to Megan Kelly. Now, contraryt to what Megan Kelly thinks,
I've actually been somewhat hesitant to criticize Megan Kelly for
a few reasons. What is that For the longest time,

(34:00):
I was a huge fan of Megan Kelly for the
absolute longest time, back when she was on Fox News,
Main Kelly was not this maga crusader that she holds
herself out to be. In fact, during the very first
August twenty fifteen Republican presidential primary debate back in the
cycle that Trump ends up winning, that's when Trump got

(34:20):
into this infamous exchange with Megan Kelly. She was very
very Trump skeptical, indeed Trump critical. Back then, Megan ends
up leaving Fox to take this very pricey contract at
NBC News where she hosts a failed daytime talk show,
and she was of anything trending leftwards in those days.

(34:41):
There was this segment on her old NBC show that
went viral on my social media. If you need maybe
a month or two ago where Megan back then in
her NBC Days calls on these teenagers who are quote
unquote transgender and she's praising them for expressing themselves with
their gender identity. She was pro and now she's a

(35:02):
purported hard core opponent of general mutilation, of chemical castration crime.
Me a river, give me a break. Ultimately, though, as
we've tragically seen, it turns out that Megan Kelly is
only in it for Megan Kelly, that she is actually
just in it for clicks, actually just in it reviews. Indeed,

(35:22):
on the Daysmuth interview on Friday after Daysmith referred to
me as a snake. Megan Kelly not alok and said,
oh yeah, that guy Josh Hammer is a snake. This
is in line with the recent behavior, among other things,
on following and generally just totally renouncing my friend Dave

(35:43):
Rubin after they were close friends for years and years
and years, man Kelly really dined in their home repeatedly
man Kelly calling out Mark Levin as a piece of
you know what, although she actually said it on social
media because she playing that Mark called her a Nazi,
which he didn't making, by the way, claims that I

(36:04):
called her an anti Semite, which I didn't because I
do not believe she is. So she's unhinged, she's lying,
and this is somewhat new ish for her. It feels
like just yesterday that was going on our show fairly regularly. Indeed,
after October seventh, her team reached down. I was a
semi freaking guest. We had one amazing conversation where she

(36:27):
had me on for an hour or more for a
really deep dive on all the various elements of October
seventh than the then immediate aftermath. What was the role
of over Ron, What with the role of Katar Muslim brotherhood,
What does Israel do now? What does the US do now?
It was a great conversation, and she came across as
very genuine and caring. The fool apparently is me because

(36:48):
she was not genuine and caring because now, as she
has made incredibly clear, she's on team Tucker, she's on
team Candice. She she will never ever, by her own emission,
say or do anything to distance herself from Tucker Carlson.
She certainly has not done anything to distance herself from

(37:10):
Candace Owens either. In fact, she did a live event
in Jacksonville, Florida, with Ben Shapiro, and Ben brought this
up admirably courageously brought this up at Maingan's own events.
So she said, Megan, why have you not condemned Candace
for accusing Erga Kirk of complicity in her in her

(37:30):
own husband'ssassination. And Megan played stupid. She she played stupid
and said, oh, oh, i'ven't seen that clip, which is
absurd because she apparently noticed that I retweeted one or
two critical tweets of her, which I guess is why
she thinks I called her ante semenitic. You know I didn't.
And then the day or two after Mayan's appearance with

(37:51):
Ben Shapiro, she did a whole segment saying that Ben
Shapiro lied about what canas own said, no, he didn't.
Kansas has been accusing Eric Kirk, among many others, including
this guy yours truly, of having fore knowledge or some
degree of complicity. It's all so demonic, sob so dibolical,
and Megan wung lift a finger, hung lift a damn

(38:12):
finger to condemn any of it. And it's even worse
than that, because I know I will not say this
individual's name, but I know from someone who is very
very close for a long time, someone who, for whatever's worth,
not even Jewish, who was very very close to Mean
and Kelly for a long time. Someone else, and Megan

(38:33):
Kelly recently just blew off because she's clearly in some
sort of unwell states. Again between her and her psychiatrists,
I don't know. She's not doing well right now. She
told though this friend of mine before she mayhim blew
off that friendship. She admitted that she knows that a

(38:54):
kinn isn't Tucker are saying right now about everything in general,
including Charlie's sassination the Jews that Megan apparently admitted that
she knew was crazy and unhinged, But she simultaneously said
that the reason that she would not condemn it is
because she is scared of their followers. Yes, big bad

(39:18):
Megan Kelly is scared of Tucker Carlson and Candice Owens
as followers, and therefore she will not condemn them. She
will not speak the truth. She doesn't care for truth.
She cares about clicks and for appeasing the mob. This
is the literal dictionary definition of cowardice. Is refusal to

(39:42):
do the right thing, that one knows me right, that
one knows me true, and just because he or she
they are afraid, afraid of the consequences, afraid to what
happened if you speak up, afraid what happens for calling
out horrific actors, in this case de facto Nazis and
there are betters. It is disgusting, it is repulsive, and

(40:09):
meeting Kelly, we see it and we will call it
out as need be. For Mae and Kelly to go
from having me on post October seventh for these beautiful sentiments,
for tweeting me after my wedding to say my then
new wife is beautiful and we look so happy to
go from that, to bring on Dave Smith fard in

(40:32):
the wind, Dave Smith, to bring him on to not
as long as he calls me a snake on her show.
And for what to appease Candice Owens missus blood libel,
to appease Tucker Carlson, for whom the a mirror of
Katar is so far up as buttthole you might as

(40:54):
well be rummaging around the small and testing by now.
Really and answer is yes, because as Megan Kelly also
tweeted to me yesterday she was mocking this. I think
she thought she was mocking this show, this podcast, because like,
how's that podcast going. She's wrong on that too. She's

(41:16):
so stupid that she actually conflated this show, which recently
joined the Salem Podcast Network, when we are so proud
of that arrangement. She conflated this show with a separate
show that I very briefly hosted for the show that
does her own show called Red Sea Ventures, which makes
her something of a business partner with Tucker Carlson because
those shows are both also handled by Red Sea Ventures.

(41:36):
That's an underdiscussed part of what's happening here of Megan's
selling of her soul to Tucker and Canvas. They're actually
financially connected. Now that's an underdiscussed part of this broader narrative.
But Megan was mocking my show because she thought that
it no longer existed. And it's true that brief show
that I used to host it was a twenty twenty
four election show, so but definition became outdated. But this

(41:59):
show is thriving, and we will continue to call out
the frauds, the hypocrites, and the cowards and me and
Keldy that ultimately is what you are. May not be
a self hating Hellenized Jew like a Dave Smith. He
may not be a Nazi like Candice Owens. May not

(42:21):
be an old school country Clube anti Santa like a
Tucker Carlson. I don't think you were any of that.
You are a stinking feeded coward. We see you, and
we're not gonna shy away from calling it out. I
wish you all a very happy Hankah. For those of
you who are celebrating again. On tomorrow show, we're gonna
bring on a Rabbi, Stephen Burke of Age for an

(42:43):
extended conversation about the Hanakah holiday, one of my favorite
holidays I have, not my single favorite on the entire
Jewish calendar. Make sure to go ahead and shut it out,
and as always, make sure to like and subscribe to
our show. Leave us at five star review, tell us
how we're doing in the comments section. You can watch
the full video over at Newsweek's YouTube channel, as well
as at Salem News Channel. Well, but for now, I
hope you enjoyed today's episode of The Josh Hammer Show.
