In this episode Mel and Jenn welcome their friend and licensed therapist Buffy Wimmer to talk about freedom and healing from trauma.
Buffy shares how God led her into therapy as a second career and she begins to unpack little 't" trauma and big "T" trauma and how it can keep us from living a whole life. Buffy begins to share how trauma, if not addressed, effects us in body, soul and spirit with this episode focusing on the body, and the physical implications of trauma.
In the next episode we'll talk about how trauma, if not dealt with, can impact our soul and our spirit which can keep us from having heathy connections with people, and with God.
We're grateful you've joined us on the journey and we pray that these episodes bring hope and healing so that you can live a life that's becoming whole.
Thanks for joining us on The Journey Expressed!

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
