This week it's just me, myself and I on the mic. And let me tell you, solo-casting isn't for the weak. But we've got some really exciting content dropping in April that I had to share with all of you out there listening. If you know me, you know I battled with infertility for 16 years. So, for #infertilityawareness month (aka April) I want to shine a light on infertility and child loss by telling YOUR stories. Tune in every Wednesday and Friday all April long to hear some incredible interviews from this community of total badasses.

Speaking of badasses, we're kicking off the series April 4th with Jennifer Bullock from NBC4. Jenn lost her son Mile's when he was born stillborn at 33 weeks. Now, she runs a non-profit Mile's Mission to bring awareness to infertility and child loss. She even brought her team from NBC4 back to interview me on my story of infertility, child loss and surrogacy. Catch that segment on April 14th at 7:30PM on NBC4.

So tell a friend to tell a friend to tune in to our Infertility Series all April long! And as always #keepitmoving baby.

Headspace by Mia Santiago, because great hair days

(01:31):
shouldn't be rare.
Well, good morning and welcometo your Friday.
It's your friend, carrie, andit's just me today, looking at
an empty chair across from me.
Yep, we're going to do a solocast, sitting my ass down in the
chair, just me, myself and themic.
Thank you so much for pressingplay.
There's like a zillion podcastsout there, so the fact that

(01:55):
you've chosen to sit and listenand take a minute to spend your
morning with me means everything.
I was just looking at the statshere on my Buzzsprout and it
says we're in 1,600 cities,1,649 to be exact.
That blows in 64 countries.
So this little show, thislittle labor of love, is being

(02:20):
listened to in 1,600 cities.
So thank you for sharing, thankyou for rating and commenting
and just being a part ofwhatever this crazy thing is
that I continue to build.
So first on deck, theInfertility Series.
It's launching April 4th.
If you know me, then you knowthat I've gone through 16 years
of infertility, battled to bringmy two children into the world,

(02:43):
dane and Kyle, battle to bringmy two children into the world,
dane and Kyle, and I've got alot of knowledge, a lot of
experience, a lot of resourcesaround infertility and child
loss.
So April is going to be packedwith people's journeys, stories,
experiences we're dropping.
Jennifer Bullock is going tokick it off April 4th.
I had the pleasure of sittingdown with her.

(03:04):
She is an absolutely incrediblehuman being.
If you don't know her, she isan anchor for NBC4.
Jennifer lost her little boy, miles, at 33 weeks.
He was born still and she hascreated a nonprofit called Miles
Mission in support of him andhis legacy and everybody out
there who's going through childloss.
She's just an incredible humanbeing.

(03:24):
And, speaking of Jennifer, Ihad the opportunity for NBC4 to
come in here last week and I sitdown with me for me to tell my
story on infertility and childloss and also to talk about the
surrogacy workshop that we'relaunching.
So I am so excited that theytook the time to come here and

(03:46):
just sit with me and listen tomy story.
So that's actually going to becoming out April 14th 7.30 pm on
NBC.
So thank you to NBC4 andJennifer.
It was truly an honor havingyou guys come in last week my
ultimate goal with theInfertility Series and just
shining a light on infertilityand child loss in general is.

(04:08):
I just don't want this to besomething that people do alone.
I don't want this to feel, youknow, I don't want people to
feel like they're in the land ofmisfit toys.
Life is going to hand you adeck of cards and every single
person who hits the pavement inthe world gets a deck of cards,
and sometimes the card sucks, and the infertility card sucks.

(04:32):
I'm with you.
It's not a card you would pick, but how are you going to play
the hand?
And there's so there's so muchinformation out there.
There's so many people goingthrough it, and I just want to
be a resource and a guide forpeople to understand that like
this is something that you willget through, and I think the

(04:55):
biggest thing for me withbuilding a family that I
realized is you know, if itdoesn't happen naturally for you
and you find yourself on a pathwhere, for whatever reason,
this is may have not everthought of, because we all think
, oh, we're just going to getmarried and have sex and it's

(05:23):
going to happen, and then whatyou find is that it doesn't
happen that way for some people.
So if this show can help besome sort of you know, guide,
help, comic relief, whatever itis for people to feel seen,
heard, understood and less alone.
I am all about it.

(05:43):
So look for so many incredible, inspiring stories in April.
And please take a minute.
If you have somebody in yourmental Rolodex, in your life, in
your network, who is goingthrough infertility, who has
gone through that couldappreciate what we're going to
put out in April, please sendthe show to them.
You can just hit the littleforward button.
Send them the Keri Croft show.

(06:04):
I just would really appreciatethat.
We're trying to spread the wordto as many people as we can in
terms of this infertility series.
So thank you in advance forthat, and it's not just going to
be an April thing.
The idea of infertility is athrough line for me in my life
and so it's going to be athrough line in the show.
So don't think that you'vemissed the opportunity to tell

(06:26):
your story.
Just send me a DM or an emailand we're going to continue to
always have visibility on thistopic throughout the show.
Visibility on this topicthroughout the show.
So let's hit the surrogacyworkshop really quick while
we're here.
The surrogacy workshop is liveon the kerrycroftcom website.
So just go to kerrycroftcom andyou will see surrogacy workshop

(06:48):
right there.
Just click the button.
I am so excited to have thisinto the world.
I've thought about it now foryou know over a year.
This into the world I'vethought about it now for you
know over a year and the factthat there is this workshop that
exists now, that has everysingle detail, every single
thought, every single step, every expert that I dealt with
when I was finding my dreamsurrogate it just makes me feel

(07:12):
so incredibly fulfilled.
And the idea that I alreadyhave people who are reaching out
to me about the workshop andalso about the next step, which
is me working with youone-on-one throughout your
journey to find your surrogatethat's also an option.
I just I am so grateful and sohonored that I can be of service

(07:33):
to someone who is going throughthe surrogacy process.
I can be of service to someonewho is going through the
surrogacy process.
Am I anti-agency?
No, I'm not anti-agency, but Iam pro equal access to being
able to build your family.
So where I get very passionateis the average middle-income
person over here on the left.

(07:54):
I want them to have the sameopportunity to get a surrogate
as the upper echelon person onthe right, who may have access
to a lot of disposable income.
I feel like those two humanbeings both have an equal right
to build their family viasurrogacy if that's the route
that they need to take.
That's where my passion lies.

(08:15):
So there are plenty of peoplewho are great candidates for the
agency model, but there arealso plenty who are great
plug-in for the workshop.
And I'm very clear if you go tokerrycroftcom and you look at
the workshop within the website,it will say you know, this
workshop is perfect for you.
If and number one, if you don'thave disposable income to the

(08:40):
tune of six figures to give toan agency, if you don't have
time for a long wait list, ifyou are highly resourceful and
you have grit and you canexecute a plan and you can also
manage a multifaceted process, then this is your.
This is your jam.
I believe it 110%.
I lived it.
I did it.
I know that the sound ofsurrogacy is very, very scary

(09:03):
and big and overwhelming, butyou absolutely can find a
surrogate on your own without anagency period.
End of story.
I did it.
You can do it too.
What I would ask for thelisteners out there if you hear
the word surrogacy.
If you're at dinner, you're atdrinks, you are at work, you
hear somebody talking about it,if you hear surrogacy swirling

(09:25):
around in the air, justreflexively, keri Croft, I just
want you to think of me.
I want you to let that personknow that I exist, that this
exists, that I can be a resourcefor them, whether it's just a
five minute pe pep talk, whetherit's a workshop, or whether
they hire me one-on-one to walkthat journey with them.
I am absolutely here for it andI am.

(09:45):
Can you tell?
Can you feel the energy?
Can you feel the passion?
I am so passionate about theopportunity to be some small
part in somebody else's journey.
So, kerrycroftcom, find yourdream surrogate workshop.
She live.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Hey Maria Milligan, here with REMAX Premier Choice.
I grew up right here in thistown.
I know the schools, the parks, even the best places for coffee
on Sunday morning.
When you work with me, you'renot just getting a realtor,
you're getting a neighbor whoknows this town inside and out.
Let's find you a place thatfeels like home, sweet home.
Text me at 614-314-1355.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
Okay.
So, moving on from theinfertility series and more into
some of the stuff I've beenbuilding behind the scenes and
cooking up in the kitchen, ifyou're familiar with me, you
know that I've spent the lastdecade building a fitness brand
and when you're in that world, you are so submerged with diet

(11:17):
and exercise culture and that'sall great.
You're never going to hear mesay that diet and exercise isn't
important to me and it shouldbe important to you.
It's very.
Those are two very key parts of, I think, a total badass
equation, but where I think itgets skewed.
A lot of times, especially inthis country, we are so focused

(11:41):
on calories in, calories out.
How many minutes did I work outtoday?
What did I eat?
Oh, I have to punish myselfbecause I ate X, y and Z.
I mean there is you know howmany.
How many steps have I taken?
There is such a hard charging.
There is such a hard-chargingall-encompassing culture with

(12:01):
diet and exercise and I think Iknow that a lot of people are
missing the boat because they'reso zoomed in on those two
things.
And what I want to do, and whatI am going to do with my
program that I'm building, iszoom people out into the bigger

(12:21):
picture, and there is such abigger picture in terms of being
a total badass that you need tobuild and that is what I'm
building.
So, diet and exercise yes, it'spart of the program, but it's
one part, it's one column.

(12:43):
I'm so excited to present thisand to roll it out to people,
because I know there are certainpeople that are going to hook
onto this and be like oh my God,this is exactly what I needed
to sort of take myself to thenext level.
My goal for this program is tohelp you step away, sort of zoom
out, from the diet me firstcolumn or framework of this

(13:03):
program, and yeah, that's wherethe diet and exercise sits, but

(13:25):
there's other things there too.
And then you, you take it astep further and you go into
your core people.
And this is where things getinteresting too, because I don't
think we realize how muchtoxicity we allow in our life in
terms of who are you hangingaround?
Like what?

(13:46):
What does that look like?
Do you need to do an externalaudit?
Like, oh, but they're family, who cares?
Are they toxic?
Like how do we need to changerelationships?
How do we need to shiftboundaries?
I mean that that alone, thatmodule alone in this program, is
a game changer.
Because, again, we're nottalking about diet and exercise

(14:10):
at all.
We're talking about toxicrelationships and boundaries and
where you're spending yourenergy.
I mean, think about this youhave a finite amount of energy
to spend every day.
It's a finite amount and if youthought of it that way, if you
thought of it as a little bucket, and you have this specific
amount of energy and you'regiving it out you're doling it

(14:31):
out to just random toxicity andbullshit I mean you would
probably be a little morediscerning around where you're
giving, where you're giving, little more discerning around
where you're giving, whereyou're giving.
That's a huge part of thisprogram.
There's so much to this and it'sso exciting, it's so
comprehensive, and I want toroll this out to 10 people 10 or

(14:52):
less, right now.
So I'm looking for my first 10OGs to go through this 12-week
program with me on really how tolevel up and just meet, become
your total badass.
Who's perfect for this program?
So it's someone who already has.
You know you're highlymotivated.
You have the confidence thatyou can win.
You have something like there'sa thing that you either want to

(15:15):
start or there's a thing thatyou started and you're kind of
stalled or you're trying tofigure out a way to level up.
So I've talked to people aboutI want to start a podcast, or
I've already started a podcastbut I want to grow it this way.
I've talked to people whoalready have a business but they
want to maybe pivot or theywant to figure out how to be

(15:36):
more efficient.
Or there's so manyconversations that have gone on
with Alan Lee that I have up onmy website just these free calls
behind the scenes.
I know there are so many peopleout there who could use a
12-week intensive sort of stairstep into your ultimate total
badass.

(15:56):
So that's what it is, and whenI think about this program, I
think about being able to takepeople through sort of this 12
week intensive thing that I'vebuilt.
It's really exciting to me.
There's a quote that I alwayscome back to, and it's we're all
living in cages with the doorwide open.
I think about that all the time.

(16:17):
I think about that quote oftenbecause A how true is that we're
all living in cages with thedoor wide open?
We're sitting there because offear, and we're sitting there
honestly because we're afraid ofwhat Susie over here thinks.
Fuck Susie, fuck them all.
Truly Like, if that's yourreason for not leaving the cage,

(16:39):
this program is for you becauseI'll have you, I'll have you
running out of that cage.
So fear internally, fear thatyou're not good enough, fear of
what your peers are going tothink, your family and truly
like you, just don't know how tostart.
You don't know how to get frompoint A to point Z, point z and
I get that a lot of times onsocial media.

(16:59):
You'll hear these influencersor these inspirational people
and they'll be like yeah, justwork hard, just show up, just
you know, throw your headagainst the wall and you can be
a fucking shit maniac.
Okay, I would love that.
I would love to be able to liketap into this most beastly part
of who I am, but can you maybegive me like a staircase to get

(17:22):
there?
It's like what, what are theactual steps to getting where I
want to go?
And that's what this program is.
I have spent so much timebuilding, reflecting, like how
do I do it?
How did I make that happen?
And that's why it's 12 weeks,because there's so much to it.

(17:43):
There's exercises,visualizations, there's modules.
I mean there's, this thing islike packed.
I firmly believe that I havehit on a lot of really critical
components that you need to tapinto if you really want to dial
into the best, most like thehighest vibration that you

(18:05):
possibly have.
I've been wanting to do this 10person test run for a while and
it just hasn't been ready, andnow I really feel like it's
ready.
So if you're out there and youwant to be a part of this 12
week wonderful, comprehensive, holistic program, you know how
to find me.
There's more details comingaround the bend.
I'm going to do a live chat inthe next couple of weeks that I

(18:28):
was going to go a little bitdeeper into it, more details of
the program and let's see whothese first 10 people are going
to be.
Okay, last but not least, may isMental Health Awareness Month.
I want your story.
So if you have anything thatyou feel like you know what I
really want to share myexperience with, whatever it is

(18:51):
from a mental health perspective, please reach out.
And there is no story that istoo wild, too small.
I know a lot of people are likeoh, my story, it's just not
good enough.
What does that even mean?
Of course it's good enough.
It's your story, it's yourexperience.
And I again, huge believer thatwhatever your story is,

(19:11):
somebody else out there is likeoh my God, I feel it.
I see that it just would not beproper if I didn't put a little

(19:33):
call out into the universe forall of my kings who I would love
to get on this show.
So Lazy Bone, busy Bone, shadMoss, ross Smith, I'm still
pining for you and your granny, theo Vaughn, I mean obviously 21
Pilots, obviously Duh, any sortof musician or hip hop king.
I am like you know, I'm like amoth to a flame.
I love having a good guitar inhere, good acoustic session.
So thank you so much forcontinuing to listen.
If you have a minute today, please go and rate and comment

(19:54):
on the show.
I would absolutely appreciatethat.
That's my laundry list for theday.
Look for more solo casts comingfrom yours truly in the coming
months.
And, yeah, if you have anyquestions, if you want to talk,
chat, whatever what you like, don't like wish list for the
show.
I'm here for it, I'm here forall of it.
And if you're still out therefollowing your girl, follow me
on YouTube, spotify, apple orwherever you get your podcasts.

(20:16):
