It was such a pleasure to sit down and chat with my long-time friend John Bridgeland whom I have known since 1996. John is the founder and CEO of Civic Enterprises. I worked with him at the National Crime Prevention Council and on the Drug Free Communities Act. John has held a number of critical positions in Washington not least of which was the Chief Domestic Policy Advisor for President George W. Bush. He headed USA Freedom Corps after 9/11 that helped organize the country's volunteer movement.
