Today we’re chatting all about the loss of home— both the literal loss of a physical home due to financial reasons or a natural disaster, as well as the loss of home in a figurative sense because of moving. As always, I’m in this with you, so I share several times in my life that I’ve experienced a loss of home, both literally and figuratively. Every time that this has happened in my life, it’s impacted me differently— sometimes, the loss was felt immediately and I experienced a lot of anxiety, whereas other times the loss wasn’t felt until later. Regardless, it can be so tough to lose your sense of home because it’s one of the foundational pieces of our lives. So, listen in for some tips on how to best support yourself in this season.
