Jalene Novotny is a chemical / biomedical engineer turned regenerative agriculture consultant and educator, bridging the gap between farmers and consumers in order to promote regenerative systems that go beyond the food we eat. Through her own journey and experience as a student of the land, she is passionate about  soil health, regenerative agriculture, and giving a voice for local farmers.

In this episode we talk about procuring your own food and creating relationships with local farmers, the ranch that we have been creating since March, the many holistic pieces and how they each contribute to the ecosystem.

Jalene and I also drop in about our time in Fit for Service and how we meet. Jalene has become one of my greatest allies and friends. It's a gift to share this conversation and incredible human being with you.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
