So we're going to get rightinto our health, wealth and self
tips.

It's not just about lookinggood in the mirror.
We've got to take care of thetemple God's given us, but we
have to strengthen our minds aswell.
Wealth tip is how do we bettersteward finances in our careers?

we've been given as husbands andfathers?
Okay, if you're walking eitherone of those, that's hard, this
is very hard.
So how can we, as Christian men, lean in and grow?
So let's start with our healthtip.
Okay, really, the health tipfor is very simple for you this
week, fellas, this morning,movement wins the day.

Okay, you got to get started.
I don't know what else to tellyou.
It could be 10 minutes ofstretching, it could be walking,
it could be pushups, but therehas to be something to get your
body and your mind engaged.
Small habits lead to big results.
Fellas, you can't just belethargic, you have to do
something.
So for me again, this is justfor examples Do what you want to
(02:56):
do.
I've always had a bike, anexercise bike that I have to get
on every day.
That's just the way that I getmy body up and get it moving and
rolling.
Of course we have our farm, sothen you know you're spending an
hour and a half hour to 90minutes out there doing farm
chores, but then you know, trailrunning, lifting weights.

There has to be something buteverything your day.
You're just going to putyourself in a better position to
win if you start your dayactively with moving.
Okay, so just consider that asyou move forward.
Now for your wealth tip you needbetter stewardship.
Generosity has a way ofpotentially opening doors.

Giving heart that just attractspeople fellas, I'm just going
to be real.
Doors, a giving heart that justattracts people fellas, I'm
just going to be real.
It's just, if you want to bearound people who are generous,
who are out there, just has ajoy about them, particularly
with their finances.
Now, look, this is notprosperity guys.
This is not saying you give toget.
That's not what I'm saying.
I'm just saying when you serveand you do what God's called you

to do and you apply that toyour finances, it has such a
positive impact on you and theblessings man.
The blessings just seem to justkeep coming.
Ok, now the self tip is thinkabout this for a second.
From for your home.
You know everyone has athermostat in their home.
You kind of set that dependingon.

If it's the winter, you won'tput that heat up.
If it's in the summer, you'llput the air conditioner and cool
it down, but you, fellas, youset the tone.
Your tone sets the temperature.
Think about that.
Your tone sets the temperature.
How you say things as a man, asa leader, as a husband, as a
father, matters, it just does.

You have to be super carefulhere.
I talk to the guys in Ohioabout this all the time.
We have to be super precisewith our speech.
I think one of the big flaws wehave in our society these days
is people are just way too loosewith their speech.
You have to be precise about it.
Before I podcast, I pray Lord,guard my tongue.
Guard my tongue, because Idon't want to say anything that

takes away from you, god, andthat has been an effective
strategy for me and hopefullysomething for you to consider as
well.
It's just the tone.
And here's something this isjust a little nuance.
You can't.
Tone is a variable in text.
Okay.

So what I said as a tone in mytext message, my wife may
interpret differently.
The greatest example I haveI've shared this on the show
before is she'll.
She'll reply back to me attimes with sure.
That's in her mind, it's surelike, yeah, I'm happy to help.
I hear it as sure, notice thedifference in tone, and that
(05:49):
always has been.
That's been a a, a, just aninflection point for us.
We've had to work on that.
You know what how the otherperson's interprets their text
messages is.
Is it?
It leaves it too much up for,for, for, for a challenge.
So you have to be careful there.
But the words we use, that'swhat we have control over, guys,
the words we use.

So just recognize, when youwalk into your room and you got
your kids, your wife orwhoever's in the room right,
that tone matters.
It's such a big doggone deal,guys, and they're going to
either build up or break down,and I just I know we talk about
this so much, but some thingsare worth repeating over and
over and over.
Look, you just need torecognize the power that you

have.
God has handpicked you to leadyour family.
Your family is looking to youas the leader.
It's a big responsibility.
Be careful, treat it as such.

I pull this book.

Uh, some, some of you guys aresmall, small businesses or
entrepreneurs.
This is a great book, uh, overa million copies sold.
It's really talks about the,the option entrepreneur

operating system, eos.
You may have heard that callbefore, but if you guys are are
interested in a business orstarting a business, or maybe
your business is starting togrow and there's just seems like
there's just just there's somany tentacles and pieces you
can't figure out how to put somestructure around it.
This really gives you a goodframework for to structure your
business and meetings anddifferent types of strategies

like that.
That will bring some peace toyour life.
So I highly encourage this bookTraction.
It's a great way to just getstarted.
