you and just want to hopefullyput some good thoughts and ideas
in front of you to help you inyour Christian journey.
And we do that with tips, okay.
So if you're new to the flying,we do a health, wealth and a
self tip.
Okay.
So that health tip reallyfocuses on our mind and our
bodies.
What do we need to be doing tostrengthen those to do what
God's called us to do.

Wealth is around stewardshipstewardship of our finances and
our careers.
Bottom line and self tip is notlike individually self, but
like self as the leaders of ourhome, as husbands, as fathers.
What can we do in those areasto start shoring up, to start
leveling up and start being theman that God's called us to be?

(02:37):
Okay, so let's look at each oneof those.
So, from a health standpoint,think about how you start each
day and, as early as possible,start each day and as early as
possible, get some movement in.
It's only 10 minutes, but 10minutes of movement to start
your day makes a big impact.
Okay, because often, guys Iknow how it is you get stuck and

I've got stuck in the past tooLike I've got to have the
perfect workout plan, it's gotto be exactly right, man, and
I'm telling you, if you startputting these big, hairy,
audacious goals in front of you,sometimes that can be crippling
and it'll stop us from doinganything.
Okay, and here's the reality,something I've learned through
the years that the big healthtransformations, the big thing.

Again, I've lost a lot ofweight over the years.
Boys.
I put it on, I've lost it, butright now I'm about 100 pounds.
It starts with consistent,small daily habits.
It's not occasional, intense,it's not there Like occasionally
.
I'm just going to go bust ithard.
No, that's not how it works,fellas.

(03:41):
I'm telling you, particularlyas you get older, you have more
and more birthdays thatoccasional intensity can
actually hurt you more than ithurts you, right Than help you,
rather.
So, set a timer, just 10 minutes, and just do some movement
walking, stretching, pushups orjust some body weight type
movements.
Okay, and do it every day.
Okay, right after you wake upor during your lunch break.

I know, for me, I work fromhome, I work at a desk, I've got
all this content creation, so Ihave to constantly just remind
myself oh, it's been an hour,it's been two hours, it's time
to get moving, it's time tostand up.
Right, for me, I'll walk to thebarn, just go walk through and
just check on the horses.
And if 10 minutes seems likeit's too easy, that's the point,
guys.
Okay, the win that you'relooking for is consistency, okay

(04:29):
, consistency.
You can get to the point ofexhaustion later, but start with
consistency, because God honorsthose small beginnings.
He just does and if you showhim every day that you're going
to do what you can to take careof this vessel he's given us
with.
Now I'm telling you that's asmall impact because, fellas, at

the end of the day, this is atemple, this is not a trophy,
okay.
So just be careful what the endgoal is, but start that day
with movement and see how thatimproves your, your, the rest of
the day as it gets going.
All right, now for the healthtip.
Something to consider as youmove forward, health with you,
with your wealth, rather, isautomate a small weekly transfer

to your savings account.
Mitch and I talked about this alittle bit.
He talked about systems oversavings, but we came back to the
importance of savings, and mostpeople wait to save when you
see what's left over, right?
I'm telling you, guys, whatI've learned, what I've seen,
and for our, for our family, isthat intentional saving, savings

(05:38):
, rather requires making it afirst priority.
Ok, and it may be small amounts,boys.
Ok, this takes discipline.
So what you could do five bucks, 10 bucks, 20 bucks, whatever
it is, but set up a separateaccount and just start putting
it somewhere, and maybe you wantto label it like you know what
this is, the future mission tripfund, or this is going towards

(06:04):
my daughter's braces, orwhatever.
It may be right, like, startworking there and then, as your
income grows and you make more,maybe have a windfall, hey,
increase the amount, but don'tstop the practice, because
you're building the mechanism,right, the mechanism to be a
good steward, and that's whatit's all about.
Okay, because these littlesmall seeds they may seem small,

(06:26):
but you're showing financialfaithfulness, okay, and that's
going to start unlocking thingsfor you For generosity, for
security.
And that's going to startunlocking things for you for
generosity, for security.
And I'm telling you, god honorsthose who steward the little
things.
Well, it tells us that in thebook of Luke fellas.
So take the time to and I'm abig system guys too so put some

systems around.
Automating some weekly savingsOkay, all right, that's your
wealth tip.

Now the self tip is starting oneday, each day, rather with one
grounding scripture.
Okay, because the first voiceyou hear each day really
sharpens your mind.
So start with God's word, right, and then share that.

Share that with your family.
Choose one verse the nightbefore, write it on a sticky
note or a note card or whateverit may be and put it somewhere
where your family can see it andthen read it out loud in the
morning, read it aloud at thedinner table, read it aloud at
your breakfast table, whereveryou find yourself with your
family no-transcript, okay.

And then let that start framinghow you think about it.
And I'm telling you, when youstart doing that and you start
inviting the Holy Spirit, youstart just soaking your family
and your house and your homewith God's word.
Incredible things starthappening and you're also going
to find that you're going tohave more and more opportunities
to learn God's word and thatapplication, man.

When you move it from the headto the heart and start applying
it, man, when you move it fromthe head to the heart and start
applying it, man, it's somecrazy, crazy cool stuff that
starts happening.
And a cool part about doing itwith your family is they're
they're growing with you andit's your job.
You're the spiritual leader ofyour home.
It's time to take little stepslike this to put that, that,
that responsibility, in action.
All right, 33 tips, fellas,right there.

Your health, wealth and selfthat health is.
Start 10 minutes each day withmovement.
Wealth is automate that weeklytransfer to your savings and
that self is that.
