Joel Smallbone is an Australian actor and one-half of the four-time GRAMMY Award-winning pop duo for KING + COUNTRY, which he formed with his brother Luke. They have generated over 2 billion streams and earned 10 GMA Awards, 1 Billboard Music Award, and 1 American Music Award. They have also performed on prominent shows such as Good Morning America, The View, The Today Show, The Tonight Show, and CMT Crossroads. Joel’s acting career began in 2014 with a role alongside Billy Ray Cyrus in the Nashville-based film Like a Country Song. He went on to co-write and star in the 2016 independent film Priceless, and he played a lead role in the 2023 film Journey to Bethlehem opposite Antonio Banderas. Most recently, Joel co-wrote, co-directed, and starred in the 2024 film Unsung Hero, a story about his family’s immigration to America.
