Joel Smallbone is an Australian actor and one-half of the four-time GRAMMY Award-winning pop duo for KING + COUNTRY, which he formed with his brother Luke. They have generated over 2 billion streams and earned 10 GMA Awards, 1 Billboard Music Award, and 1 American Music Award. They have also performed on prominent shows such as Good Morning AmericaThe ViewThe Today ShowThe Tonight Show, and CMT Crossroads. Joel’s acting career began in 2014 with a role alongside Billy Ray Cyrus in the Nashville-based film Like a Country Song. He went on to co-write and star in the 2016 independent film Priceless, and he played a lead role in the 2023 film Journey to Bethlehem opposite Antonio Banderas. Most recently, Joel co-wrote, co-directed, and starred in the 2024 film Unsung Hero, a story about his family’s immigration to America.
