This week on The Lovecast it's that time of year when we turn to our listeners to seek their financial support for CIUT FM Toronto. Community Radio in Canada is government sanctioned on the premise that our web of community radio stations scattered across the country are financially supported by the listeners. Public Access Community Radio is the way that Canadians can have access to the media. Most of our so-called "public airwaves" are actually controlled by corporate interests. Proud Canadians concerned about corporate monopolies controlling our media need to step up during our spring and fall fund drives to financially support and insure we maintain a healthy network of public access community media broadcasters across this country. To motivate my audience to support the work I have been doing here on The Lovecast for the past 23 years I have mixed up a fat selection of Global Disco grooves to get you in the mood.
