Do you ever find yourself questioning if you’re living a life well-lived? If so, you’re not alone. For many of us, there are moments in life that challenge our perspective and force us to re-evaluate what is most important to us.

At 40 years old, I have faced several monumental life events - the birth of my first child, the death of my father, issues with relationships, being laid off twice within one year, and the loss of my once-in-a-lifetime dog. These events prompted me to search for answers by connecting with others on a deeper level and finding better ways to understand my own life through the lives of others.

My quest for change is inspired by Burning Man - an annual event encouraging people from all walks of life to come together in Nevada's desert for enlightenment and growth. Following this model of venturing into the unknown and finding truth from strangers, I plan to embark on a journey where I talk openly about those topics men were told were taboo in order to gain greater insight into the realities we face in life.

About the host: Omarr Cantu is a producer and visual storyteller turned podcaster. Originally from the small South Texas town of Falfurrias, Omarr gained the opportunity to broaden his world scope after attending Texas A&M University and living in Orlando, Florida. After turning 40 and experiencing multiple life events within one year, he sought out on a journey to learn more about himself by having deep conversations with others. This journey is what sparked the fire for self-enlightenment that eventually turned into this podcast. He now lives with his young family in Austin, Texas.
