Welcome to the show
leaders.
Today we're going to talk abouthow to cultivate magnetic
presence and I'm going to besharing from my personal
experience what actually workedfor me and what was so powerful.
This is especially applicablefor type A high achievers,

leaders, entrepreneurs, artists,executives.
So why would you even wantmagnetic presence?
Well, first, magnetic presenceallows you to attract
opportunities so much easier.
You are an energetic being.

You are always in a contractedor an expansive state, so when
we are in a expansive state, weare attracting to us people at
the same resonance.
This is what we want.

When we are in a contractedstate, sometimes we're not
attracting anyone.
We're in our little cocoonattracting anyone.
We're in our little cocoontaking understanding that we are
always in a flux.
In this world of expansion andcontraction, we're always
fluxing and one of the thingsthat takes away from our

magnetic state is the way thatwe are living and operating.
This is especially prevalent inNorth America, where we are
often on the go, where we rewardbusyness, where we reward
hustling.

Not that there's anything wrongif that's something that you
like, but from my own experience, one of the things that was
groundbreaking, that I stoppeddoing, that helped my magnetic
presence, was stopping theoverworking, I started to

realize I had become dull.
I remember looking at myself ina video.
I just started to notice thatmy skin looked a little bit
lackluster, that my eyes werelooking a little bit lackluster
and I just seemed to be dull.

I didn't have this vibrancy andI was tired a lot.
So I had to do an assessmentfirst, where is all my energy
going?
Where is my vibrancy?
Where is my life force energygoing?
A lot of it was going to allthese things I was doing daily
(03:24):
that were sucking my energy.
A lot of these things I didn'tneed to be doing.
A lot of these things weren'tconnected to the results that I
want.
This is one of the criticalthings that we do in the
Magnetic Leadership Accelerator,which is getting clear what
tasks can you let go of and whatare the highest leverage tasks

you can be doing to get to yourresults?
Because when we are doing awhole bunch of this and a whole
bunch of that and we're goingaround and our heads spinning
around, this is vital life forcethat we are putting out to
things that are not giving usany of the results that we are

looking for, and you will see iton your body.
I saw it on my face.
I could see it.
I could see it in my skin tone,I could see it in my eyes.
So the first thing I did to getback my magnetic presence was do
an audit of my day, do an auditof my time, and if you're

So you have to understand whereyour energy is going, where's
your time going, where's yourfocus going, and then you can
know, by process of elimination,by reverse engineering, what

are the action steps, what arethe tasks, what are the things
I'm doing that are just suckingmy energy and not producing any
of the results that I desire orthat I'm getting.
So that was the first thingthat I did.
The next thing that I did thatwas taking away my vital

magnetism, my energy source away.
My vital magnetism, my energysource, was I stopped so much
screen time, particularly in themorning.
So no phone, no phone in themorning, no grabbing it and
start scrolling, and for me, andwhat I recommend to my clients
(05:44):
is keep it out of the room.
Don't just rely on willpower.
You have to understand thatthere's a part of your brain
that wants to pick it up.
It wants that hit of dopaminefirst thing in the morning.
So if you have it right next toyour bed, you are asking to get
into a battle first thing inthe morning a battle of brain
(06:09):
and a battle of willpower.
Keep it out of your room.
If you use it as an alarm, it'stime to invest in a new alarm,
ideally something, if you can,that's not hooked up to any kind
of Wi-Fi, that's a wholedifferent story.
That's a whole differentepisode.
But clearing that in your space, so eliminating excess screen
(06:36):
time that is not necessary foryour work.
Now I work online.
A lot of the work that I do isin front of a screen, so I have
to get clear what needs to bedone, what can I outsource and
what can just be eliminated.
Again, this goes back to theaudit.
It goes back to getting clearwhat am I doing?
(06:58):
That is not actually leading tothe results that I want and we
spend far too long scrolling.
You have to really understandwhat your triggers are.
What are the boundaries thatyou need in place?
I know for myself.
If I have certain social mediaapps on my phone and I go in

them, I'm going to be scrolling,I'm going to get lost in it.
It's not good enough for me tosay, oh, I'm only going to go in
there and check something.
I know from my patterns andfrom being honest with myself
that if I go in, I'm going toget hooked and I'm going to
start unconsciously swiping and10 minutes later realize, oh my
(07:43):
God, what am I doing here?
They need to be eliminated fromyour phone or put them in a
secret compartment on your phonewith a password to make it very
hard to get into Some of theapps I have on my phone, because
I need to have them.
Certain posting only works wellwith the phone, but I know the

apps that do not work well withme and my system.
They are not there or they arehidden.
They are not easily accessed.
The next thing I stopped doingwas ruminating over worry loops.
(08:26):
When you're ruminating overworry loops, when you're
stressing out about things youcannot control, your life force,
energy is draining.
When you are in a place ofsurrender, of trust.
Trusting you can trust yourvision.
Trusting you are beingsupported If you are a leader,
(08:47):
if you are an entrepreneur, ifyou are an executive and you are
heart-centered, you arepurpose-driven and you are
working towards a goal or avision that also supports right
collective, that is not there tohinder and hurt the collective,
(09:08):
you can trust that you aregoing to be supported.
You can let go of the controlthat I know that you like to
have, because I like to have it.
My clients like to have control.
But what does control do?
It takes up bandwidth in yourmind, in your energy field.
(09:31):
This is not magnetic.
When you are worried and you aregoing around in loops over and
over again ruminating about whatifs, what if this goes wrong?
What if this happens?
I'm scared to do this.
I'm scared to do that.
This is not magnet.
(09:51):
This is not feeding themagnetism.
This is taking away from themagnetism.
So what I did was a practicewhen I felt the rumination
coming right, I bring down astop sign in my mind's eye,
right here.
I can see it in my mind's eye.
Stop, I'm not pushing it away,I'm not trying to suppress it,
(10:14):
just saying you know what Stop,it's not serving me, it's not
serving my goals.
Letting it go.
What is going to serve mebetter right now.
What thought patterns are better?
Your thought patterns are partof your energetic field.
If you want to be magnetic, youhave to start thinking magnetic
thoughts.
So what are magnetic thoughts?

Well, who are the people youlove being around?
Who are the people you lovecalling and inviting to your
parties to get togethers?
If you go somewhere, who do youimmediately find If you're
going to a get-together or party?
Mind, if you're going to aget-together or party, who do
(11:02):
you love?
Speaking to?
This person is magnetic.
They are magnetic to you.
What are the things that theyare saying?
Now, I'm not talking about theperson that you seek out who is
in resonance with the same fearsor worries as you, or someone
that you like to gossip with,because we can be attracted to
that as well if we are in astate where those patterns are
(11:23):
present.
That's not the magnetism I'mtalking about.
I'm talking about the magnetismof someone where you leave
their presence and you feel good.
Your energy is raised.
You're like, oh, you know what.
We weren't really talking aboutanything that specific, but I
feel good.
I feel good.

I can tell you, if you arefeeling like this, that person
has certain thought patterns.
What are they saying tothemselves?
What are the magnetic thoughtsyou can start to say to yourself
?
What are things that you lovehearing from other people?
Start saying those things toyourself, start having thought

patterns that are supportive,that are encouraging Thought
patterns of when you arespeaking to yourself in ways
that you would speak to youryounger self, encouraging them,
telling them that you believe inthem, that you can't wait to
see what they are creating, thatyou appreciate their leadership

, that they're doing a great job.
These thought patterns are somuch more magnetic than worry
loops and we're ruminating onwhat could go wrong.
Another thing that I did toimmediately shift my energy and
my magnetism is I started tofuel my body and I started to
(12:59):
move my body in ways that feltgood, and I started slow.
I started slow.
I didn't put in an intense newworkout routine.
I simply started moving my bodyin ways that felt good, such as
walking, dancing.
I fueled my body with freshpressed juices, smoothies.

One of the best investmentsI've ever made in myself is my
high speed blender, because amonth after making these
smoothies, I started to noticeall these differences in my body
.
I started to feel more aliveagain.
Now, take what resonates.
(13:45):
Leave the rest.
Everybody's body is different.
Everybody needs differentthings.
I'm simply sharing what workedfor me.
What may work for you may bedifferent, but for me, having
that live food smoothie and Iput lots of greens, I put fruits
.
When I do juices, I do fruitsand I do vegetables.

I mix it up.
I do different things.
I really listen intuitively tomy body when it comes to this.
I don't overthink it, I don'tover plan it, I just get it in
my body.
My body does really well withlive foods.
You have to test what works foryou body.

fuels you, what makes you feelthe most magnetic, and giving
yourself more of that.
So really treating your body asa vessel, because we can do the
inner work, we can do themindset work, we can do
practices like communicationpractices, communication tactics

But if your body is not feelingmagnetic, then you're not going

to exude it Now.
You do with what you can withhow your body is.
You start with where you arewhen you think of walking into a
room and heads are turning, notjust because of what you look
like, but your energy and peoplewant to come up and talk to you

Why would they Think about it?
Why would they want to come andtalk to you?
Who do you need to become to bea person that people want to
come and talk to?
Well, you have to be doingthings that are interesting so
you have something to talk about.
So for me, because I had beenworking so much, I had no
(15:41):
hobbies, I had nothing I wasdoing for fun.
Sure, I could talk about workbut, quite frankly, not a lot of
people want to hear about itand I don't want to talk about
it all day long.
So I had to start findingthings that I wanted to do,
bringing in new hobbies likepracticing my ukulele,
practicing singing, doing myartwork.

Also, what's really, reallymagnetizing is setting big goals
, going after a big dream.
So when I first started mybusiness, I had really big goals
.
Somewhere along the way theykind of dimmed a little and I
(16:26):
got lost in the busy work.
So I had to tap back in and askmyself what are these dreams?
Again, that kind of got lost inthe way.
Some of them I had alreadyachieved, but some of them got
lost, and one of the reasonsthey got lost was because they
were no longer in alignment.
So part of the work was gettingme to a place where I was in
(16:52):
alignment again with those bigdreams, my big vision, and it
started with getting crystalclear what were my values.
I talk a lot about values.
We talk a lot about values inthe Magnetic Leadership
Accelerator because it's thefoundation of your alignment.

In full alignment with who youare, with your values, vision,
your beliefs, your desires, youbecome magnetic.
You become someone that pullsto them opportunities, people.

You become someone thatnaturally connects to the people
, to the opportunity, to theplaces you need to be.
When you align your inner worldwith what you're calling in
externally, this is magnetism.

People want to be around otherpeople who have big dreams, who
are speaking with words that areencouraging, supportive, that
feel good.
Every word has an energy, everyword has a frequency.
A lot of people connect throughchallenge and struggle.
(18:24):
A lot of people unconsciouslyconnect through gossip or
criticism.
Soul, an awakened being torecognize that.
(18:46):
Oh, you know this pattern thatI kind of fell into
unconsciously, that I got usedto.
Everyone around me was kind ofdoing the same thing.
It's actually not supportive.
It's not supportive for me,it's not supportive for the
people I'm talking to and it'scertainly not supportive for my
dreams and my goals.
So I have to change thelanguage, I have to set
boundaries.
I have to set boundaries withpeople that don't want to change

, that want to keep speaking andkeep that limitation alive, and
I have to find the people thatI can have these conversations
with, that we can play off eachother's magnetism and we can
expand it like a frequency right, we can expand the magnetism.
(19:28):
So, to wrap it up, to work onyour magnetic presence is to
truly work on your alignment.
It's to work on yourfulfillment.
It's to work on your abundance,your wealth path.
It's to work on your purposepath.

It's to work on how you impactpeople, how you influence people
, the opportunities you get, theopportunities you're offered,
you get the opportunities you'reoffered.
It's not just a fancy word,it's not just a nice word.
Oh, my magnetism, it's anenergy, it is a presence.

The first step is letting go ofeverything that is taking away,
that's taking from that presence, and then it's embodying and
acting in accordance.
That may mean adding somethings in to your day-to-day
life that add to the magnetism.
It's always an inside job firstand then we assess what needs

to happen externally.
