Speaker 1 (00:00):
So what do you do in
situations where you are feeling
maybe a little bit down, alittle bit hopeless?
Maybe you've been in a lot ofhighs in your work or in your
career and you're at a pointwhere either it's stagnant or
you feel like you'rebacktracking a little bit.
(00:21):
You can shift this state andyou could shift it fast, and it
doesn't matter what is going onexternally, it matters what is
going on internally and thatwill always be reflected back.
So keep listening, becausewe're going to go more in depth
(00:42):
in this episode.
If you are feeling a little bitstuck, a little bit stagnant,
maybe like you're backtracking-you're not sure what to do,
(01:25):
magnetic Leader, before we getstarted.
If you are in a place where youwant support getting clear what
your vision is so you know theexact next steps to take.
You want a vision that iscompletely aligned to your
values.
(01:45):
If you want to not only createfinancial success, but you also
want internal success, and youwant help with accountability to
take the courageous actions toallow your vision to be seen in
the physical reality and notjust a dream within you, then
(02:10):
please go to my website,lisajeffscom.
Book a Power Play call and wecan talk about the Magnetic
Leadership Accelerator orprivate coaching.
I am so passionate aboutgetting people into this
framework that I've been honingthrough the Magnetic Leadership
(02:31):
Accelerator because I'm seeingthe results of it.
I'm seeing how fast people areshifting and creating lives and
businesses and money andfulfillment on levels that used
to take so much longer and it'shappening so quickly.
If you are in a place whereyou're feeling a little bit
(02:53):
stagnant or you're feeling likeyou're backtracking, maybe you
achieved a lot of success or alot of growth and things have
slowed down.
The key is, what we want to dois we don't want to give it a
whole bunch of meaning andenergy to where we are creating
(03:17):
more of what we don't want.
So I'll give you an examplefrom my own life.
This is a pattern that I had todo a lot of work to shift.
It was a very obvious pattern.
I knew it wasn't serving me,but I kept falling into it.
So earlier in my business Iwould go through almost the
(03:37):
feast and famine cycle, where itwould be great for a couple of
months and then a couple ofmonths would be slower, and the
problem I was having was Iwasn't being easy about it.
So I would see slower months.
And what it was doing was itwas triggering an old survival
(04:02):
wound within me.
It was triggering a feeling Iused to have as a child,
watching my parents go throughsimilar feasts and famines in
their business.
In my dad's construction heowned a corporate construction
enterprise and I was justreliving the same pattern over
and over again.
That's all it was.
It was just a pattern and I wascontinuing the pattern.
(04:27):
What I had to do to heal thatpattern was I had to stop giving
the slower times the meaningthat it meant something about me
.
I was going into places in mymind where I was picturing and
(04:48):
thinking that I'm never going tomake money again.
The money's never going to come.
Money was dependent on metaking certain actions and then,
within those slow periods, instead of doing the inner work,
I was only focused externallyand I was doing a whole bunch of
(05:09):
actions going this way, goingthat way, and the problem was I
was doing all these actions inthe absolute wrong energy, and
taking action in fear createsmore fear.
So for me to break through thatpattern, I had to get to the
point where it was almost likean epiphany and a deeper
(05:35):
understanding that internal, ourinternal state, our state of
being, is the key.
And once we align our state ofbeing to abundance mindset, to
(05:56):
trust that everything is goingto work out, to the identity
that I actually want to live in,not the fear program, and it
was me getting clear what thatidentity was.
So who am I living, what is shethinking, what is she believing
(06:18):
?
How is she showing up every day?
And once I aligned thoseinternal states, then the action
steps started taking care ofthemselves.
I would get natural, intuitivehits, I would get the
inspiration needed to takeaction.
(06:39):
The action was a simplebyproduct of my internal world
aligning to my vision and itwasn't about me sporadically
trying to make things happen.
So I need you to realize thatit doesn't matter where you are
(07:00):
in your business, in your career, if things look like they
aren't going anywhere, if itlooks like it isn't happening
and you're starting to wonderand get worried is anything
going to change?
Going into worst case scenarios, et cetera, et cetera.
That you can change yourreality very quickly, that you
(07:25):
can change your internal state, which is then going to change
your external world, and the keyis to release the fear.
The fear is going to keep youconnected to the pattern you no
longer want.
The judgment of what you'reexperiencing is also connecting
(07:48):
you to what you do not want.
So part of the work that I dowith my private clients or
clients in the MagneticLeadership Accelerator is we got
to get to a place of neutrality.
So a lot of times it's veryhard for people to get to, let's
(08:08):
say, a place of full gratitudeand appreciation of something
that they are not happy with, isexperiencing a lot of.
They're experiencing a failureor they've had, let's say, a
falling out with a businesspartner or even with a romantic
partner, because that affectsour work as well.
(08:30):
Or maybe it is a money issue, maybe they've lost a lot of
money or they've gone into debt,et cetera, et cetera.
Going from that place to, let'ssay, a place of oh, I'm going
to have complete gratitude andappreciation for this
quote-unquote failure or thisquote-unquote debt.
For a lot of people it's easier,as a first step, to get into a
(08:53):
place of neutrality, whichsimply means I'm going to
release the judgment around it.
So I'm going to see whatever ishappening as just a part of my
journey, just a learning step, not something that I'm going to
(09:14):
identify about myself.
So, for example, when I'mworking with my male clients, if
they've experienced a divorce,a lot of my male clients will
internalize that more so than myfemale clients.
And of course, I'm not tryingto gender this, because there's
(09:35):
obviously it's never black andwhite, but a lot of them will
internalize that as them beingthe failure.
Or if there is a business thatdidn't go well, a lot of my male
clients will internalize thatas they're the problem.
It's something about them, they're the failure, as opposed
(09:56):
to seeing it simply as no, thisproject failed, this
relationship didn't work outbecause of these reasons, and
it's not an indication that I ama failure, so we don't
necessarily have to have amassive amount of gratitude and
(10:18):
appreciation for something notworking out, but it's important
to get to a place of neutrality,to then start to shift that
pattern, because anytime we arein judgment of something, we are
attached to that experience andwe just keep getting more.
So first step is to release thejudgment.
(10:40):
It's okay, life isn't meant tobe all roses and buttercups.
Especially if you are ambitious, especially if you are creating
something beyond status quo, you're going to experience shit
that doesn't work, that fails, that goes absolutely haywire.
(11:05):
I don't know anyone in my life,in my professional life, and I
know a lot of amazing creativesand leaders and executives that
they don't have a story and themore successful they are, the
more shit shows they'veexperienced.
If you've never experiencedsome kind of shit show or
(11:28):
something that is a hot messexpress, you're likely you got a
lot more to go, or you're notdreaming big enough or you're
not being as ambitious as youcould be, because it's really
just part of the process andit's okay.
So, going back to the steps, wegotta have neutrality.
(11:53):
Then a lot of the work that I dorevolves around beliefs.
So we gotta do the belief workbecause, again, any kind of
place that we're in, any kind ofsituation, that is not what we
want to experience.
We have to look at the beliefsthat we hold in regards to what
(12:14):
we are experiencing.
So what limitations are wekeeping alive?
So this is the foundationalbelief work.
We have to understand what webelieve about ourselves.
We have to understand what webelieve about the world, about
other people, about business, about money, about success.
(12:36):
All this stuff we got to getclear.
All this stuff, all the beliefs, start breaking them down and
the ones that are not serving usor our vision.
We have to release and changeand bring in the beliefs that we
want.
Instead, we want to get to aplace where we're not just
believing something but we knowsomething.
(12:59):
It's an inner knowing such as Iknow I'm always going to be
supported.
I know the universe, or God oranything you align with a higher
power, always says yes to me,to me that I am not a victim of
(13:29):
my circumstances, nothing ishappening to me.
I am the key.
So if I say that there is lackand scarcity and I am scared,
the universe says yes, here yougo.
Yes, here you go lies instating what I want, not what
(13:51):
I'm afraid of.
So I know, if I say theuniverse is wildly abundant, I
am always supported.
I am part of the divine.
I am part of the divine.
The universe says yes here yougo and that is our place of
power.
So we have to do that deeper, foundational work.
(14:15):
And of course, that is a key ofwhat I do with my clients,
because without that work we'rejust doing surface levels.
And we're not here to dosurface level stuff, we're here
to get to the core oftransformation.
This is how we create a career,a business, that is deeply
fulfilling and lucrative.
Next, we got to talk about thevision.
(14:38):
So a lot of times when someoneis in a place where they're
feeling stagnant or they justcan't see the light at the end
of the tunnel, they aredisconnected from their original
vision.
A lot of times they are whetherthey had a vision or not.
It's hard for them to go andthink really big.
(15:00):
They may be back in survivalmode.
They may be just thinking abouthow do I get through this month
?
What do I need to do?
Right now?
It's really important toconnect back into the bigger
vision and get yourself out ofsmall thinking, survival
(15:20):
thinking, that is coming from afear program, and I know it is
so hard, especially if you're ina place where you're like Lisa
I don't even know how I'm gonnaget rent next month.
I don't even know how I'm gonnado that or whatever you're in,
maybe it's not so much aboutmoney.
Maybe you're in a place whereyou don't even know if you're
gonna have a job next month.
You feel like you're walking oneggshells.
(15:52):
Whatever it is, we have to getout of that place and we need to
tap back into the vision andwhat this can look like, which
is challenging for people, because a lot of people in this
mode again are in survival mode,so they're just doing stuff and
they feel that they can't rest, they can't take time off, they
need to be hustling or they needto be figuring things out, and
all they're doing is spinning inconfusion.
All they're doing is just goingaround in circles.
(16:16):
So a key here is to step away.
You really need to step awayfrom the pattern and the clarity
that comes from you.
Separating and stepping away islife changing.
You cannot change something inthe same energy that created it.
(16:41):
So if you are trying to get outof a place where you're feeling
things aren't moving or thingsare backtracking, things aren't
working for you and you'retrying to figure out the answer
to get out of it in that stateof being, forget about it.
All you're doing is goingaround in circles and leading to
frustration.
You have to go out and eitherseparate yourself completely to
(17:06):
where you can go to a place andexperience deep relaxation, or
you can go to a place andexperience fun and joy and
creativity.
It doesn't really matter.
You just have to get out of thestate that you're in.
You need a fresh perspective, even if this means stepping away
(17:30):
for a week, even if this meansstepping away for two weeks,
even if this means stepping awayfor three weeks and I know what
you're thinking especially ifyou're in a darker place, a
desperate place.
How am I going to do that?
But you have to do that.
I've had clients in that placewhere they literally couldn't
see anything.
They couldn't figure it out,but they were like banging their
(17:52):
head against a wall.
I don't know how to get out ofthis.
I don't know how to figure thisout.
What was the antidote, so tospeak?
It was to go away.
As soon as they went away andthey were able to get out into a
new environment, they were ableto decompress their body.
They had no other choice.
(18:12):
They were outside ofelectronics right, no laptop
working.
They couldn't be running aroundlike a crazy person they
reconnected to the earth.
That's a really powerful way toshift.
The energy is just go outside,be outside.
The awareness came and I'mthinking about one client in
(18:33):
particular.
They were able to make a pivotand that pivot was the exact
answer that they needed.
This happens all the time.
It happens to me, it happens tomy clients.
You gotta be able to separateyourself.
Okay, knowing and trusting.
I don't care what positionyou're in right now, I don't
(18:54):
care where you you're in rightnow, I don't care where you are.
What is happening, you canshift it, and you can shift it
fast.
But you need to shift yourinternal world first.
You're always trusting.
You don't have a lack of trust.
You're just trusting thatthings are not going to work out
.
So that is creating the stateof being where you're feeling
(19:19):
anxious.
You could be feeling depressed, you could be just feeling out
of alignment.
So it's simply shifting thattrust into trusting that it's
all going to work out.
And your job as a creator issimply to get clear what your
values are, what the vision is.
(19:39):
So what are your intentions?
What do you want to create?
If you're not sure, that's okaytoo.
But you're in a place ofsurrender.
You're not in a place of panic,so you're open to receive the
intuitive downloads, you're opento receive the inspirational
(20:02):
action steps.
And then it's simply saying yesand taking the inspiration when
it happens, but not making anykind of meaning from times that
don't necessarily look likethey're going well, that don't
(20:23):
necessarily look like things areworking out for you, being easy
about it, having patience, knowing and trusting that it's
all good, it's all fine.
One of the things that my guidessay, my spiritual guides all
the time, is don't take it soserious.
(20:45):
And I know it's so hard, especially when we see things
happening on earth that seemlike the depths of despair and
really dark and really hard.
But ultimately we are spiritualbeings having a human
experience and part of us havingthis human experience.
(21:09):
Not that it's all about simplycoming back to having more of a
spiritual experience, because Ido believe that we're here for
the human experience and toenjoy it as humans.
But enlightenment is trulyabout lightening up.
So letting go of fears, lettinggo of worries, letting go of the
(21:34):
lack and limitation, tuning outthe doom and gloom and the
propaganda Not that these thingsaren't happening in our world,
not that things aren't aware ofbut not falling into doom and
(21:59):
gloom, fear, lack and limitation.
It's about seeing yourself as acreator, knowing you are of
divine source.
You are not here to live inlack, limitation and fear and
separation.
You are here to embody, live inlack, limitation and fear and
separation.
You are here to embody yourselfas a creator and through that
(22:23):
embodiment, things are going tostart to shift and align to what
you are calling in.
This is the process.
This is the work that we do inthe Magnetic Leadership
Accelerator.
This is the work I do with myprivate clients.
It is critical.
(22:43):
It is so important to,especially during these times,
to find your crew, to find yourgroup or to find your source of
support to keep you aligned andmoving forward.
This is one of the reasons Ialways work with my own coaches.
I'm always with my own privatecoaches and I'm always in some
(23:06):
kind of group, because it'sreally easy to spin out in your
own thoughts and start spiralingout of control.
It happens to all of us.
So find yourself a group, findyourself a person, find yourself
a connection, find it or payfor it, but don't feel that you
(23:29):
need to do it on your own.
You're here for something big.
You wouldn't be listening tothis podcast if you weren't, so
find that support system.
All right, I'm going to wrap itup.
Leader, thank you for joiningme.
I always appreciate you and Ihope this is really helpful.
Drop me a question.
You can always send me a DM onInstagram or you can drop it in
(23:52):
the text message which youshould be able to see on my
podcast website.
You can find that directly atwwwlisajefscom, which is my
website, and let me take yourquestion and create a podcast,
if it makes sense, obviouslyfrom that.
Leader.
(24:13):
I love you, I appreciate you, thank you for listening and, as
