Speaker 1 (00:50):
Welcome to the show leaders.
This episode is going to gointo a concept that is very near
and dear to my heart.
I don't want to bring anyonedown, that's not the intention
of this episode, but it's a realtalk episode because sometimes

(01:12):
we brush over real humantransformation with feel-good
tactics and transformation goodtactics and give transformation.
I have no desire to help peopledo the fluffy feel good stuff,
even though core realtransformation will feel good.

(01:33):
In fact it'll feel freakingamazing.
But it can be a challenge, which is why a lot of people
don't want to talk about it.
They don't want to go there.
They want to do, you know, thefluffy feel-good stuff.
So let's get into it.
This past month, one of my dearfriends passed away.

(01:56):
This is someone that I grew upwith.
We met in junior high school.
If you've been following me fora while, you will know that
I've lost a few good friends inthe last little while and more
people than I can count.
I've gone to their celebrationof life and their funerals and

(02:21):
it's been a big wake-up call tome and with every person that
passes it's just anotherawareness shift that goes deeper
into this concept how I grew upand how a lot of my friends who
passed grew up.
We did not grow up in a typicalgreat home Not that I think a

(02:47):
lot of people did, to be honestbut we didn't grow up in a
household that you know.
We were prepping for collegeand you know all of us were
excited about things like promand homecoming and college are
we going to and all that stuff.
We grew up in households.

(03:08):
Every one of us have adifferent story.
My story, if you know.
I'll just go into the shortform.
I started my life in a fosterhome.
I don't think my teen fathereven knew I existed until I was
born.
My mother felt like she had tokeep it a secret for due reasons

(03:34):
, and I had a rougher start tomy beginning, went into a
wonderful home with two of myparents, who they're my adopted
parents, but I don't call themmy adopted parents.
They're my parents and they didthe best that they could.
But as many parents in the 80s,there was not a lot of

(03:57):
emotional connection and a lotof my needs went unmet and grew
up with a group of kids who hadsimilar stories and we all kind
of struggled with that lowself-worth right.
Some of the friends that I hadalso came from homes that either

(04:20):
didn't have one parent there orthere was just a huge lack of
connection and parenting andwhat it did was it caused us to
view ourselves as in a very lowlight.
So I remember times growing upwhere I didn't even like going

(04:41):
to college, wasn't even athought of mine, and I'm not
even sure why.
To be honest, the parentinglacked that real guidance when I
needed it.
And then my father passed awayat 19 and it kind of spiraled
out.
And that's when I got into theadult entertainment world,
because that's what I thought,you know, I could do and a lot

(05:06):
of my friends at that time wentinto different avenues of crime
and really kind of spiraled out.
And it's interesting to seepeople from that time that I
grew up with.
A lot of people spiraled out andended up in drugs and on a few

(05:30):
of those instances drugs tooktheir life.
And it's shown me a very clearexample that our self-identity,
how we view ourselves in thisworld, how we value ourselves,
what we believe our worth to be,what we believe we are capable

(05:55):
of, and all the stories that wetake with us from our youth
impact what we do today, what webelieve we are capable of, and
it's not just the connection toor stories that are similar to

(06:17):
mine and my friends.
You may not have a story that'seven remotely like that, but I
can guarantee that if you'regoing through any kind of
challenge or frustration andyou've been going through it for
a while it's likely tied to astory and I bet you we can go

(06:40):
back and we can see theconnection from past, whether
that is your past growing upfrom zero to seven, something
that happened in adolescent oreven early adulthood.
When I'm working with myclients and we're doing this
work to shift the stories andshift the limitations and really

(07:02):
shift the patterns becausethat's all they are, they're
just simply patterns we can tieit back to these self-identity
stories that are from the past.
And saying goodbye to thisfriend who passed suddenly it
was a shock for a lot of us.

(07:22):
It was this real, clearindication that If we people,
humanity, want to change ourlife and what we are
experiencing whether that is thefinances we're experiencing,

(07:43):
whether that is the career weare in, the business we have,
the love and romance that we arewelcoming in and accepting into
our lives or tolerating I'mrecording this on Valentine's
Day.
We need to look at how do Iview myself in the world and we

(08:07):
need to look past that, becausewe are so much more than the
stories we tell ourselves.
We are so me, lisa Jeffs if Iwere to look at Lisa Jeffs as
simply the programs that Ioperate under.
So this is the stories I tellmyself, of who I am, even the

(08:32):
stories that I just shared, ofgrowing up.
Right, if I put so much meaninginto that and I give it this,
what's the word I'm looking for,if I identify with it?
So let's say that you know thestory that I just shared when my
life started in a foster homeand I don't have any negative

(08:56):
views on that.
In fact, my parents instilledvery beautiful stories of
walking into the foster home andseeing me on a blanket in the
living room, the sun shiningdown, and they were just in love
immediately.
But even that's right, I'midentifying with a good feeling
thought.

(09:17):
But if we identify with thesestories, it becomes our reality,
it becomes who we are and weget to choose.
We get to choose the storiesthat we want to identify with or
not.
We are so much more than ourstories, but especially, we are

(09:38):
so much more than the negativestories.
Right?
If we've had relationships, let's say that have been.
I know a lot of people onlineare now talking about
relationships with narcissists.
Right?
A lot of people in my communityare empaths and many empaths

(10:01):
have stories of narcissists.
Right, it's part of thelearning lesson to stand in our
power, own our power, and a lotof us have these memories or
potentially we're in it rightnow.
But again, I digress Totransform and to transform your

(10:23):
life and to truly let go of thepast and step into something new
, we need to get a hold on thestories that we are identifying
with as us, because we are somuch more like Lisa Jeffs is so
much more than these storiesthat I have from the past.

(10:44):
I'm even so much more than thevisions and the dreams I have
for the future.
In fact, one of the exercises Igave a member of the Magnetic
Leader Accelerator this week wasto go into meditation and ask

(11:05):
to be shown their core energeticsignature and what this will do
.
You can do it too.
I'm inviting you to do thisexercise as well is when you are
in meditation and PS.
I know a lot of people in mycommunity aren't regular

(11:26):
meditators, and a lot of themstruggle with even the thought
of meditating of them strugglewith even the thought of
meditating.
When I say meditating, you donot need to go and sit on a rock
and clear your thoughts for anhour.
Okay, that is not what I'mtalking about.
All I am saying is closing youreyes.
If you're new to this, closeyour eyes.

(11:47):
You don't need to clear yourmind.
Thoughts will come in meditation.
The purpose is not to identifywith them.
Let them flow by, as they are acloud flowing by, and I want
you to set the intention, andyou can do that by stating out
loud I set the intention, I willbe shown my core energetic

(12:12):
signature, and what this does isallows you to tune in to the
full energy of who you are.
When I do this, I feel it first.
You may feel it, you may see it, you may know it, you may hear
it.
It can come in any shape orfashion.

(12:34):
Do not get attached to how itmay come in.
In fact, don't even have anyexpectations.
Let that all go.
When I do this, I feel my coreenergetic signature, so big, so
powerful, so grounded and sowise, beyond any of the stories

(12:59):
I'm telling myself in theday-to-day that it's a huge
reality check that we are morethan our current human
self-identity.
And even if you consciouslyknow that and you're like Lisa,
I know I'm so much more.

(13:19):
I want you to practice thisexercise anyways, because it's a
fabulous thing to do daily, toget yourself out of your head
into your body, into the truthof who you are, to support your
movement forward so you aren'tstuck in the loop of limitation.

(13:44):
Most people that I talk to, whoare having challenges, with
confidence, with clarity, withyou, know they desire something,
but they just can't seem tochange their reality.
It's because they are loopingthe same thoughts, stories and

(14:07):
energy over and over and overagain, like Groundhog Day.
One of the other practices wedo within the Magnetic Leader
Accelerator is we have apractice of tuning into our
magnetic vision statement andnot engaging with the old

(14:28):
programming.
Literally, when those oldthought patterns and those old
stories come out, come back, just visualizing, wiping them as
if you are wiping a stain offthe counter, as if you are
wiping a stain off the counter, not engaging and allowing them
to build momentum.
That is the biggest problem ispeople are waking up in the same

(14:55):
energy, right, they're allowingtheir body to do the same
actions.
Everything is the same, even ifthey, you know they're staring
at their vision board for twominutes but they're not changing
anything else.
They're going to bed in thesame energy and it's just a
repeat.
This is what is keeping thepast alive.

(15:17):
I don't care what your past is,I don't care if your past is an
absolute nightmare.
In your opinion, part of thework to heal and move forward is
to change the stories.
Now, I'm simplifying it herebecause everyone has their own

(15:37):
path, and some of the healingcan involve really working on
our neural pathways.
Sometimes it involves ournervous system, sometimes it
involves, you know, some deepsomatic work, some spiritual
work.
Right, it can be a whole lot ofdifferent things that we can do

(15:58):
to heal these patterns, but Idon't want you to get also lost
in the story that you have to goand do so much healing to be
able to move forward, becausethat's just not true.
I have made radical changes inmy life simply by making a
decision that I was done.

(16:19):
I was absolutely done with acertain reality, and the key
here is I started taking newactions.
This is critical.
A lot of times in the personaldevelopment world.
We love doing the deeper workwhich, by the way, I love too,
and it's very important but wecan get lost in the journaling

(16:41):
and the meditating and joining10,000 programs and doing all
these things but not taking theactions needed.
And let me tell you, themembers of the Magnetic Leader
Accelerator that are in thereright now are having the most
massive shifts, and the reasonwhy is because we do what's

(17:05):
called the power hour, and thisis an intentional hour where
they are held accountable totaking the needle mover actions.
And this alone has been radical.
And I'm calling myself outbecause some of the work that I
used to do with clients yes, actions have always been a part

(17:27):
of it, but I wasn't as firm withthe actions.
I was a little more lax andfocused more on doing some of
the healing work, which, again,is very important, but through
this program.
The reason I created thisprogram was, I said to myself,
I'm seeing a lot of peoplegetting lost in just doing a lot

(17:50):
of work, like I would see somepeople I know in the personal
development world and I wouldsee them commenting on other
people's Instagram.
You know when people put outthese things and they're like
join this masterclass, do this,do this, and I would see people
just keep joining the samethings over and over and over
again, and I thought to myselfthis is not effective, this is

(18:15):
not productive.
Not that everything needs to beproductive, but it was giving
me the energy of getting lost inthe loop, right, getting lost
in the story of dopamine hitsfrom watching a new class or
listening to a new podcast, etcetera, et cetera, and I'm

(18:37):
guilty of that too, but itdoesn't actually give us the
results that we want.
Actually give us the resultsthat we want.
Action, even thoughuncomfortable, a lot of the time
, is really going to move theneedle, and if you feel like
you're paralyzed from takingaction, that's when we have to

(19:08):
go in and do some deeper workaround healing.
But a lot of times it's theconditioning that's stopping us
from taking the action.
And having the accountabilityto move in a different direction
and start building momentum inthat direction is going to have
a greater effect on us, ourconfidence, our self-identity,
who we see ourselves as in thisworld, than anything else.

(19:33):
And when I've been in momentswhere I've gotten so sick and
tired of something and I've justmade the decision to change, I
have had radical, life-alteringchanges in the right direction
within days, weeks, months.
It's completely different and Idid that.

(19:55):
Even with challenges.
My nervous system was stillfight or flight, my mindset
wasn't perfect, but I still madethese changes.
Now I'm not saying that not todo this deeper work, but don't
let it be a hindrance and don'tget lost in it.
I had a call with someone Iremember actually it wasn't a

(20:18):
call, it was a conversation onsocial media somewhere and they
were stating that they werescared that they couldn't make a
change until their nervoussystem was regulated.
And I know that where they gotthis information?
Because it's being taughtonline.
And yes, of course we want toregulate our nervous system.

(20:40):
Of course we want to do thatwork.
That's some of the most healingwork you can do getting out of
survival, getting out of fightor flight but you do not need to
wait to move forward.
You do not need to wait tostart seeing different results
in your life and shifting yourself-identity until all the

(21:07):
pieces are in place.
You do not.
I am proof of that.
I've done this multiple timesand I'm not some kind of special
chicken.
I just understand and evenunderstood it before I even knew
what the heck I was doing, whatyou truly need to transform

(21:28):
your life, your work, yourfinancial situation, your body,
your relationships, etc.
So I'm going to wrap it up hereand my final thought for this,
my final wrap up, is for you toget clear what are you moving

(21:48):
towards in 2025?
Are you okay repeating the samestories, the same results, or
do you want something different?
And if you want somethingdifferent, what are you going to
do?
That is different, somethingdifferent what are you going to
do?
That is different?
If you need some help in thisarea, we are still doing beta

(22:17):
rounds of the Magnetic LeaderAccelerator included in the beta
round.
The beta round is a 12-weekprogram currently and on top of
that, you get three one-on-onesessions added.
That is going away soon, however, not all three sessions,
but I will be limiting theone-on-one sessions and
eventually they'll go awaycompletely.
If you would like to apply forthe beta round, the link will be

(22:42):
in the show notes.
It's really important that wehave a short conversation to
make sure it's a fit for you andalso make sure that it's a good
fit for the group.
I'm being very particular withthis group.
It's a very small group and itis important that everyone's
energy and purpose and visionmesh well together.

(23:05):
I love you, I appreciate you.
Life is short.
2025 is already starting out tobe quite the interesting year,
but you have the power to steeryour course in any way, shape or

(23:29):
fashion you would like.
The power comes from with youand moves outward right.
True empowerment from inside toout, not outside, from in in.
I love you, appreciate you and,as always, let's stay connected
