another weekly episode this week. Kind of a new little

set up here. I quite like it myself, so you
can see we got I got some new ring lights,
so my face might look a little bit better hopefully
maybe maybe hopefully. Not sure I want to get something
on this wall, because I mean it's kind of a
boring wall. I'm not gonna lie and Matthew Stafford picture

maybe to put back there. But nonetheless, it was a
huge week for sports, and I hope everyone had a
good week watching some great football games that were on
in action and some other things that were going on
around the games that were on this weekend. We can
start with you the NFL. What a week for the NFL.

It was a lot of fun. But first things first,
the hat must come off. It's all gone. Buzzed it.
I kind of did it pre If you listened to
the pod last week, you knew that I needed to
buzz if I lost. Now you and being how smart

Ewan is, I preemptently went and buzzed because I'm like, okay,
I'm done right. I ended up winning my last two
weeks and my team ended up going on fire. So
I kind of buzzed for nothing, but shout out to Baxter.
He buzzed anyways, good sport. So I still buzzed, And uh,

I do regret it for a little bit, but there's
not much you can do about it. So it was,
it was, it was. It was fun. Nonetheless, I don't
mind it. Sp I wear a hat anyways, so it
can just get covered up. So don't lose fantasy football,
or don't be close to losing fantasy football. But yeah,

maybe let's let's let's get into the NFL week. It
was a fun one for sure. A lot of fantasy
playoffs were on the line. You can email me you
in ninety ninety seven, you can submit kind of what
happened in your fantasy leagues. I can come and talk
about it, because well, it was, it was, it was.
There was a lot up on the line, and I'll

get into what happened to me in a bit. So
starting the Thursday night game, I'm we covered the Monday
night game between the Broncos and the Browns with Jared
Judy absolutely cook and saving my hair. But nonetheless, we
had the lines and the Packers. The lines in a
very very close game, go down and kick game wing
field goal. They win thirty four to thirty one. Montin

Gibbs both find the end zone. All Monroe has a
rough day for my fantasy team, but fifty three yards
five receptions for him, Jared go Off again, three passing
touchdowns Elites. Jordan Love also had a good game. They
didn't throw a ball the ball a ton. They gave
Josh Jacobs a ball ton. He had three touchdowns. Wasn't
very efficient though. On the ground with eighteen carries for
sixty six yards. Tucker Craft did find the end zone

forty one yards for three receptions. That was a really
fun game. Came down to the very end and some
just coaching, just decisions. It seems like the lines will
always just continue to go for it, but it was.
It was a fun game overall. Now, kind of getting
into the Sunday slate of games, let's go back. Let's
(03:50):
just jump back here a little bit. I kind of
forgot about this this game. Decided, Well, how he ends
North NFC North would look if you think about it,
the line that they would have lost if they would
have lost that game, they would have been eleven and two,
tied with the Vikings. They do play the Vikings one
more time, but the lines have clinched because at the

tie that they have the tie breakers, so crazy stuff.
The Packers also were in the mix there. The Bears
unfortunately lose again, so they are kind of out of
the race. Looking into the NFL. Now we start off
(04:32):
with the Chiefs and Chargers. The Chiefs getting away with
it again. I don't know how often we're gonna have
to go through this, but the Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes not
an excellent game. D Hop gets in the end zone.
Pacheco doesn't have a great game. They didn't really play
that well. Their defense played well against the Chargers, but
again they find another way to get done. Their kicker, right,

who is coming in because but Kerr was hurt, nails
the field goal. Well not nails it. He tips the
upright and it find its way in. I don't even
know how it's possible, to be completely honest, it didn't
really make sense to me, but yeah, he hit the
upright and bounced in. So that's a big win for

the Chiefs. The Niners absolutely smoking the Bears. Thirty eight
thirteen cal Williams again cannot figure it out until the end,
so they just did not look good. Isaac Grendo who
came in, he's a third string for the forty nine ers.
She also got hurt in that game, but he had
one hundred and twenty eight yards and fifteen carries and
two touchdowns. Kittle had one hundred and fifty one yards

and six receptions. Juwan Jennings ninety yards too, touchdown, seven receptions,
so big game for them. The offense kind of showing
out again. The Seahawks beat the Cardinals thirty to eighteen.
Big win for them. They kind of shut down the
offense a little bit, but got to keep getting Marvin
Harrison the ball. If I was the Cardinals, Kyler Murray
two interceptions, two touchdowns as well well, Gino having a

good game and Zach Charbonney in replace of Kenth Walker
a massive game one hundred and ninety three yards on
twenty two carries and two touchdowns for him, Jackson Smith
and Jig but also eighty six yards a touchdown, five receptions.
He's looked like the wide receiver one for that football team.
Then the Dolphins Tyreek Kill having an absolute massive game

one hundred and twenty one yards a touchdown, ten receptions.
Wattle also big nine nine nine receptions ninety nine yards.
The Jets, I mean they is can't scene win a
football game. DeVante Adams a massive game, one hundred nine
yards of touchdown. Garret Wilson also get one hundred and
fourteen yards total. Jets kind of figure it out on offense,
but again it's just not enough to beat Miami. As
Miami takes a winning overtime thirty two to twenty six,

so a tough one for them. Nonetheless, then we're down
the Vikings in the in the Falcons a forty two
to twenty one win for the Vikings. An absolute massive
game for Jordan Addison three touchdowns, one hundred three three yards.
He's probably on your waiver wire. Maybe if he's in
your on your bench or in your lineup, that'd be crazy.
Justin Jefferson also with the massive game, two touchdowns, one

hundred and thirty two yards. Josh Sam Donald put some
respect on his name now. I know he kind of
like slowed down a little bits earlier, but five passing
touchdowns for the kid not really a kid anymore. It
feels like he is but unbelievable stuff from him. Five
passing touchdowns. I had him on my fantasy team on
one of my fantasy teams. Big week for him. He

put up play thirty five points, So we'll take that
every day. Aaron Jhons also with a rushing touchdown in
thirteen carries. He had a good game for them. So
forty two twenty one win for the Vikings. They look
very very good, and the Saints barely sneak out with
the win with their new coach John Johnson getting in
the end zone, Candre Miller getting in the end zone
fourteen to eleven beating the Giants. Drew Locke again looking average,

Milake Gambers looking excellent without a good quarterback, and tarn
Tracy you and you're looking great at the running back position.
Sixteen carries eighty three yards in a touchdown, but the
SAMs will sneak out with a fourteen to eleven win.
Then the Eagles barely getting away with one over the Panthers.
Bryce Young again looking excellent. He did throw one interception
in that game, but I they did pretty well. They

went two for two in the red zone. Looked quite good.
Chewbahaber had a massive game one hundred and seven yards,
twenty six carries, one touchdown, Dzenland interceptions one hundred and
two yards. One of the big players, Jordan Brooks, again
hurt in his knee on one on his first carry,
so that was too bad. I had him and in
one of my lineups. I still ended up winning without him.
I still put up one hundred and forty points without

my RB two, so I can't complain. Sake one Barkley
not seeing the nzel no, but he did half one
hundred and twenty four yards on the ground for twenty carries.
A J. Brown and Jalen Hurts getting in some beef
after the game, saying that they were friends for the teammates.
There's kind of a weird wording with what Jalen Hurts said,
But again A J. Brown, I traded AJ Brown for Pukinakua,

so we'll get into that in a second. My rams
absolutely unbelievable. But A J. Brown only four receptions for
forty three yards. The Eagles broably sneak out of win
twenty two to sixteen, so that's quite something. The Steelers
beating the Browns twenty seven to fourteen saw win all
around Augie Harris getting in the en zone. Van Jefferson
one reception, touchdown, Pat friem Is getting the end zone
as well, so good game for Russ. James Winston also

did good, but Jered Judy again five receptions sixty four yards.
He's looking like a wide receiver won so far, so
good for him. Then we had down the Bucks and
the Raiders twenty eight to thirteen win for the box.
Forshad Whitett in the end zone twice in that game.
Not a great game for Bucky Irvyan. I assume he
must have got hurt in this game. Jaden McMillan two touchdowns,

Rashad White two touchdowns, Mike Evins sixty nine yards, Kid
out in seven yards, and then on the other side,
Desmond Rider got in the game as eight and O'Connell
really struggled. So not grant game overall for the Raiders
as they the Raiders stay brutal as normal. They are
in the hunt. They're two eleven right now, so they
are pretty much done. They are done, if I say

the least, They're so bad they're gonna need a quarterback.
This is Shadar Sanders is gonna be on their list
for sure, and then the Jags absolutely winning a stinker game.
Another another win streak for the Jags, ten to six
over the Titans Missouri Titans Will Levis again just not
looking good. No no interceptions, no passing touchdowns, though Tony
Pollard also struggled. But yeah, so nonetheless a fun little

week for them. In the Monday Night Football, the Bengals
getting there bounce finally Jamar Chase one hundred ninety one
yards two touchdowns, and then Chase Brown the Canadian, the
Canadian RB who is likely gonna rush for one thousand yards,
has one hundred and twenty three yards on the ground
for a touchdown on fourteen carries, and man, he looks good.

I have him in fantasy him and Rico Dawdle. I
needed a certain amount of points to get to day
in the playoffs, right, I needed to win and I
just needed fifteen points between the two and I got
that easy. But then to beat the Medians. So in
my one league, shout out it to uh uncle Jonathan,
if you're listening, I'm in this league. It's Toronto Toronto League,
(11:17):
and you need you play two weeks, well two games
per week. You play the media in the average score,
and then you play an opponent. So I already beat
the opponent, but I needed to beat the median score,
which was actually really high that week. It was like
one oh one point three. I ended up with one
(11:38):
oh one point seven. So I jumped up to the
fifth seed, and I have to play the team that
I beat this week again, so that's gonna be an
interesting matchup. My team's looking really good. My wide receivers
Am and Raw, Puka, Chase Brown, Ricodoudle, Kyler Murray's my quarterback.
I've got a really solid team, so I'm happy with that.
On the other side of seed, Lamb another great game,

touchdown ninety four yards on six receptions. We go down
again in great game one hundred and forty one yards
on eighteen carries. Again the Bengals d just absolutely stinking
it up in terms of stopping I mean, this is
a Cowboys offense. Who I mean, I don't know how
they're putting up points with Cooper Rushes looked. Okay, we'll
give him that. He's a good backup in my opinion,

But yeah, I think Dak was there, they would have
a decent shot. But it just hasn't. Things haven't gone
right for them, and that's just what happens. But nonetheless,
I was a it was a great NFL week. We
have a big matchup the Rams. Oh I missed. I
missed the big game the Rams and the Bills. A
forty four to forty two win from the Los Angeles Rams,

some people considering it the game of the year, as
the Rams barely sneak out with one the offense firing
on all cylinders, Matthew Stafford throwing for two passing touchdowns,
Kyle Williams seeing the end zone twice on two rushing touchdowns,
and they also had a block punt touchdown. Teams for
the Rams that do well, I'll take that every day.
(13:03):
But Puka and Akua unstoppable one hundred and eighty yards
receiving on two touchdowns, Kymer Williams ninety seven yards total,
two touchdowns, Cooper Cup ninety two yards and a touchdown.
Great game for them. The defense, I mean, it's not
much you can do against Josh Allen. He puts up
an all time He throws for three passing touchdowns and
rushes three passing touchdowns, and they still rushes for three touchdowns.

And they still lose. I don't even know how that's possible.
I mean, the Rams de hung in there. There was
a point where they were up by by ten, it
was like fourst it was two score, it was a
two score game, and then they just figured found a
way to win. So a crazy game from Matthew Stafford
and the receiving in the offense. The defense still has
(13:48):
a lot of questions in my opinion. The secondary is
not looking great. Darius Williams was just getting targeted with
a big game from Khalil Shakira with one hundred and
six yards and a touchdown as well. But they're going
to have to keep this up. They got a big
game on Thursday, the Niners and the Rams, so we
know I know a lot of line Niners fans, and
that's gonna be a fun game as always. But we
(14:10):
have our last three out of four games against divisional opponents.
I think we win two out of three of those
divisional opponent games. We play Cardinals, we play Niners, then
we play the Jets, then I'm pretty sure the Seahawks
and the Cardinals, or might be Cardinals Seahawks. But yeah,
we need to win two out of three to make playoffs.
In my opinion, the divisional games matters. I think if
(14:32):
we want to shut at the NFC West, we definitely have.
But we got to beat the Seahawks. I mean, that's
a huge game because it's so close, it's so jammed,
and even the forty nine ers are not out of
it as much as I think they were out of
it if they proved otherwise this week. So be interesting
to see how they can bounce back. But yeah, it was.

It was a ridiculous week in terms of the NFL.
It should should be a fun one another US. Nonetheless, though,
let's let's kind of break down here. It's it's really, really,
really crazy MLB free agency. I mean, I don't love
(15:18):
going in the MLB. I like watching the Blue Jays,
the blueches are my favorite team, But what talking about it?
It can kind of get you know, Wansto was signing
for a seven hundred and fifty million dollar deal for
fifteen years. Fifteen years. I'm not even I'm sixteen years old.
He's signing fifteen years. I've never seen that. Incredible. He's
gonna be there until he's forty one. The New York
(15:40):
MAT's signing him to a massive extension I've seen. I
mean all you always see these stats on what players
make per minute. This guy, this guy per second is
making like a dollar. This is ridiculous, Like think about it.
If you're just walking down the street. Oh a second,
that's a dollar dollar, dollar, dollar. That is crazy. I

don't even understand. That's a lot of money. I knew
the Jays weren't gonna get him, and I'm happy they
didn't because that is so much money and for so
long I would not want to be tied into that.
The Jays did make a trade, they just traded Spencer Horwitz. Unfortunately,
our best prospect in my opinion, had a great show
in last year. But we're getting a great our future
(16:27):
second basement who's here till twenty thirty. Just an interesting
trade again from the Guardians, which I'm not he's not
a great hitter andres Heimenez he's a three time gold
Glove though, and again we're going with a lot of
people are comparing him to the Dalton bar show of
(16:48):
the infield. So we're getting our second basement for the future.
But again where we're lacking hitting, So Ross Atkins, if
you want to prove me wrong, and not look like
a loser. Go get some hitting. That's what we need.
See how they can pivot from that. They also get
a decent reliever out of it as well, so it'll
be really interesting to see how they can rebound. Now
(17:09):
if they get they get their second basement. They're always
getting defense. They went defense because when their defense exploded
against the Mariners back in the playoffs, when they lost
up when they're up seven to two, all Bluess fans
remember that Boba Shttens, George Springers clyde into each other.
They need to get some hitten like this is because

they're like, you can't win if you don't hit the baseball,
as simple as that. I think defense is most important
in baseball, but they have so much defense, Like the
Dodgers strictly won on their absolute bomb of a lineup
and their decent pitching. If you get some good hitting,
some timely hits, that's all you can ask for. So

you you they're they're gonna have to pivot and get
some some hitten. I mean they went after one out
of this year, didn't get after show Hey, didn't get him,
So there's two failures. Now, someone who can hit the Ball.
Anthony Santandero was one of them that they're linked to.
We had Max Fried go to the Yankees after some
some talks about blue Jays maybe getting them, and then
Corbyn Burns is linked to the Blue Jays as well.

Crazy starting picture, but I'm not very sure if we're
real to get him, especially considering all these guys we've
been linked to and none of them we're actually getting.
So yeah, that was my quick little MLB talk. But
goodness gracious, I mean not. We'll see how we pivot.
It'll be interesting to see. But yes, we're gonna take

Edmonson Elks organization. They signing trade Ford to a three
year extension. He can make up to one point two
million dollars in total dollars if all of his bonuses hit,
so that's a big w for the team. Very interesting
to say the last. It's just crazy stuff. They I

knew that he wasn't going anywhere else, but it's great
to just say, hey, we have trade Ford back. As
much as the Elks are overlooked, they were very close
last year. They were just just on the edge. Now
trade Ford's getting paid starting money. They have two starting
quarterbacks making starting money, so let's see how they can.
They're gonna use Tradeford next year. I assume going in

he's going to be the starter. But if things are
aren't going well, NBT is always there and that's a
great option for us. Gina Lewis is also free agent,
so that's gonna be interesting to see if we actually
signed him back. He was a great wide receiver for
the Elks, but great to see Tray back. He was
the reason why I went to the games last year
and I bought a season ticket seventy six dollars Canadian
a youth ticket. So gonna be going to a ton

of Elks games next year. It's a lot of fun.
But yeah, yeah, great signing. That was kind of the
the big news in terms of Edmonton. Zach Hamon did
get back in the lineup. I guess if that's some
big news that happened a little while ago, but yes,
crazy stuff. Edmonton. One of news get a huge win

last night. I was at the game two to one,
just sneaking it past uh Vassie Vassy normally dominates them.
McDavid scoring a breakaway goal, splitting the d with his
speed and sniping at home and then the winner Drastle
and then Vassi hits headman pops into his own nets.

So it was getting a little bit lucky on that one.
But at the end of the game also a high
stick that went in with eight seconds with the goalie
polts for Tampa. The Oilers, I thought, out played Tampa
in that hockey game, though, so they deserved definitely to
win it. It was pretty crazy stuff in terms of that.

But the Oilers have looked really good. They got Vegas
in the Wild coming up, but that is gonna be
really tough, very tough schedule coming up, so see how
they can rebound. They take on the Wild actually tomorrow,
because I'm recording this on Wednesday, December eleventh. They played
the Wild tomorrow six thirty Thursday, December twelfth, and the
(21:43):
Golden Knights taking on the Oilers on Saturday at two pm.
The Oilers on the road against the Wild and then
back at home against Vegas at two pm. Gave a
little bit of a weird one afternoon or for Saturday.
See how they can rebound from there. Keep going, keep pushing.
They're playing well. The goaltending has been great the last

five starts. Stuart Skinner has been over a nine to
forty save percentage. Keep it going, keep getting wins. They
they gotta keep finding their ways to climb the standings.
Right now, they're sitting in the second wild cards pot.
It's going to be interesting to see how they can
keep pushing, see if they can do I mean, you know,
the big guys, the big guns are gonna do it.
Dry still the first to get the twenty goals this season.
Goodness gracious, I'm just look good on his way back,

so they they're figuring stuff out. Pad Colton's looked pretty
good as well on that heat. Be interesting to see
how they how they how they handle it. Darnel Nurse,
let's give him some appreciation. He has been great this year,
scoring a making a beautiful passag dry cell last year
that ended up in the back of the net. Unbelievable.
He's been very good, very solid defensively, so you got

to give him some props on the other end. But
the big news that came out this week, the big
big stuff Canada's roster coming out for the Four Nations tournament.
For people that don't know. This year, the NHL added
a four nations tournament where they can basically take a

break in February and they go play international hockey. Who
doesn't love international hockey. It's the best, It's the best
of its kind, right, So just the team came out,
Sharelli Hagel, just really interesting stuff. I'm very excited to

see how they play. All the rosters look good. The
goaltenders come out. Skinner did not make it. The only
oiler to make it, obviously was Conor McDavid, which is
a little surprising. Colton Perreco is the third right wing,
which I mean, right, d excuse me. We're kind of
expecting Bouchyard maybe there, or Hyman getting in the lineup somewhere.

But I mean, it's gonna be fun to watch. The
first line is gonna be so gross, and the power
play McCarran, McDavid, it's gonna be fun. It's gonna be
so fun to watch. That is around February, so we'll
kind of leave it at that. The rosters came out.
You can go check them sure anywhere, like just search
them up and they will pop up. But it looks

a lot of fun. I was kind of shocked that
they went for a defensive approach, especially looking at their
goals because they're they're looking at a winning approach because
you look at the American goal is Otnger, Hellabuck and Swaymen.
I mean, that is a combo to not overlook. But yeah,

it's gonna it's gonna be so fun. The four seas,
the four centers, Cosby, m McDavid, McKinnon, that's gonna be ridiculous.
I mean, you're basically having some of the best players
of the generation. Connor Badard does make the team, so
that's an interesting one, but you're having some of the
best players of this generation on Team Canada, all of them, McKinnon, mccallar, McDavid,

and then but Dark when he gets in the Olympics.
So ridiculous stuff, crazy, crazy stuff. But yeah, it was
just a great week for sports. None of the last
two is fun. Breaking it down with you guys listening,
it's gonna be really interesting to see. Right now. You
have the NBA playing Tournament, which I'm not really keeping

up on. But the last thing I want to touch
on the college football playoffs bracket coming out. Fun to
watch Oregon the Bulldogs getting both the one to two buys.
Tennessee and OSU will play SMU, Penn State, Clemson, Texas, Indiana,

Notre Dame, and the bowl games were big in factor
in ASU getting the fourth by So wow, I did
not really expect that to be completely endless with you. Yes,
you a get the buye, but Alabama staying out SMU
getting the final spot so too bad for Alabama. You
can't lose big games. But it's gonna be fun. This

is so great that they added for people that don't know.
It used to be just the four teams made the
top four teams in college football made it. Now they've
expended it twelve and it makes it so much more
entertaining because there's more games and you got so many
more teams that can win. Georgia Carson back getting hurt

in the game as well and their backup getting hurt,
So be interesting to see how the two seed can
maybe get a little bit of a break. That was
a huge way to get a buy for them, beating
Texas with a backup quarterback. So you can't take Georgia lightly.
But Oregon looks like the wagon. It's gonna be really
tough to stop them. Interesting to see how some of
these games play out. Ohio State also losing to Michigan.

People seeing that everywhere, the fight after the game, crazy
crazy stuff like goodness, gracious, that's that's what sports are
all about. But yeah, just gonna be a real fun
couple of weeks coming up here. I'm likely gonna record
a part maybe later this week, but yeah, well so
they try and get a guest sometimes soon as well.

it was, it was. It was fun. Nonetheless, I don't
mind it. Sp I wear a hat anyways, so it
can just get covered up. So don't lose fantasy football,
or don't be close to losing fantasy football. But yeah,

maybe let's let's let's get into the NFL week. It
was a fun one for sure. A lot of fantasy
playoffs were on the line. You can email me you
in ninety ninety seven, you can submit kind of what
happened in your fantasy leagues. I can come and talk
about it, because well, it was, it was, it was.
There was a lot up on the line, and I'll

get into what happened to me in a bit. So
starting the Thursday night game, I'm we covered the Monday
night game between the Broncos and the Browns with Jared
Judy absolutely cook and saving my hair. But nonetheless, we
had the lines and the Packers. The lines in a
very very close game, go down and kick game wing
field goal. They win thirty four to thirty one. Montin
(03:06):
Gibbs both find the end zone. All Monroe has a
rough day for my fantasy team, but fifty three yards
five receptions for him, Jared go Off again, three passing
touchdowns Elites. Jordan Love also had a good game. They
didn't throw a ball the ball a ton. They gave
Josh Jacobs a ball ton. He had three touchdowns. Wasn't
very efficient though. On the ground with eighteen carries for
sixty six yards. Tucker Craft did find the end zone
(03:29):
forty one yards for three receptions. That was a really
fun game. Came down to the very end and some
just coaching, just decisions. It seems like the lines will
always just continue to go for it, but it was.
It was a fun game overall. Now, kind of getting
into the Sunday slate of games, let's go back. Let's
(03:50):
just jump back here a little bit. I kind of
forgot about this this game. Decided, Well, how he ends
North NFC North would look if you think about it,
the line that they would have lost if they would
have lost that game, they would have been eleven and two,
tied with the Vikings. They do play the Vikings one
more time, but the lines have clinched because at the
(04:11):
tie that they have the tie breakers, so crazy stuff.
The Packers also were in the mix there. The Bears
unfortunately lose again, so they are kind of out of
the race. Looking into the NFL. Now we start off
(04:32):
with the Chiefs and Chargers. The Chiefs getting away with
it again. I don't know how often we're gonna have
to go through this, but the Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes not
an excellent game. D Hop gets in the end zone.
Pacheco doesn't have a great game. They didn't really play
that well. Their defense played well against the Chargers, but
again they find another way to get done. Their kicker, right,

who is coming in because but Kerr was hurt, nails
the field goal. Well not nails it. He tips the
upright and it find its way in. I don't even
know how it's possible, to be completely honest, it didn't
really make sense to me, but yeah, he hit the
upright and bounced in. So that's a big win for

the Chiefs. The Niners absolutely smoking the Bears. Thirty eight
thirteen cal Williams again cannot figure it out until the end,
so they just did not look good. Isaac Grendo who
came in, he's a third string for the forty nine ers.
She also got hurt in that game, but he had
one hundred and twenty eight yards and fifteen carries and
two touchdowns. Kittle had one hundred and fifty one yards

and six receptions. Juwan Jennings ninety yards too, touchdown, seven receptions,
so big game for them. The offense kind of showing
out again. The Seahawks beat the Cardinals thirty to eighteen.
Big win for them. They kind of shut down the
offense a little bit, but got to keep getting Marvin
Harrison the ball. If I was the Cardinals, Kyler Murray
two interceptions, two touchdowns as well well, Gino having a
(06:01):
good game and Zach Charbonney in replace of Kenth Walker
a massive game one hundred and ninety three yards on
twenty two carries and two touchdowns for him, Jackson Smith
and Jig but also eighty six yards a touchdown, five receptions.
He's looked like the wide receiver one for that football team.
Then the Dolphins Tyreek Kill having an absolute massive game
(06:22):
one hundred and twenty one yards a touchdown, ten receptions.
Wattle also big nine nine nine receptions ninety nine yards.
The Jets, I mean they is can't scene win a
football game. DeVante Adams a massive game, one hundred nine
yards of touchdown. Garret Wilson also get one hundred and
fourteen yards total. Jets kind of figure it out on offense,
but again it's just not enough to beat Miami. As
Miami takes a winning overtime thirty two to twenty six,

so a tough one for them. Nonetheless, then we're down
the Vikings in the in the Falcons a forty two
to twenty one win for the Vikings. An absolute massive
game for Jordan Addison three touchdowns, one hundred three three yards.
He's probably on your waiver wire. Maybe if he's in
your on your bench or in your lineup, that'd be crazy.
Justin Jefferson also with the massive game, two touchdowns, one
(07:10):
hundred and thirty two yards. Josh Sam Donald put some
respect on his name now. I know he kind of
like slowed down a little bits earlier, but five passing
touchdowns for the kid not really a kid anymore. It
feels like he is but unbelievable stuff from him. Five
passing touchdowns. I had him on my fantasy team on
one of my fantasy teams. Big week for him. He
(07:32):
put up play thirty five points, So we'll take that
every day. Aaron Jhons also with a rushing touchdown in
thirteen carries. He had a good game for them. So
forty two twenty one win for the Vikings. They look
very very good, and the Saints barely sneak out with
the win with their new coach John Johnson getting in
the end zone, Candre Miller getting in the end zone
fourteen to eleven beating the Giants. Drew Locke again looking average,
(07:55):
Milake Gambers looking excellent without a good quarterback, and tarn
Tracy you and you're looking great at the running back position.
Sixteen carries eighty three yards in a touchdown, but the
SAMs will sneak out with a fourteen to eleven win.
Then the Eagles barely getting away with one over the Panthers.
Bryce Young again looking excellent. He did throw one interception
in that game, but I they did pretty well. They
(08:16):
went two for two in the red zone. Looked quite good.
Chewbahaber had a massive game one hundred and seven yards,
twenty six carries, one touchdown, Dzenland interceptions one hundred and
two yards. One of the big players, Jordan Brooks, again
hurt in his knee on one on his first carry,
so that was too bad. I had him and in
one of my lineups. I still ended up winning without him.
I still put up one hundred and forty points without
(08:37):
my RB two, so I can't complain. Sake one Barkley
not seeing the nzel no, but he did half one
hundred and twenty four yards on the ground for twenty carries.
A J. Brown and Jalen Hurts getting in some beef
after the game, saying that they were friends for the teammates.
There's kind of a weird wording with what Jalen Hurts said,
But again A J. Brown, I traded AJ Brown for Pukinakua,
(08:58):
so we'll get into that in a second. My rams
absolutely unbelievable. But A J. Brown only four receptions for
forty three yards. The Eagles broably sneak out of win
twenty two to sixteen, so that's quite something. The Steelers
beating the Browns twenty seven to fourteen saw win all
around Augie Harris getting in the en zone. Van Jefferson
one reception, touchdown, Pat friem Is getting the end zone
as well, so good game for Russ. James Winston also
(09:21):
did good, but Jered Judy again five receptions sixty four yards.
He's looking like a wide receiver won so far, so
good for him. Then we had down the Bucks and
the Raiders twenty eight to thirteen win for the box.
Forshad Whitett in the end zone twice in that game.
Not a great game for Bucky Irvyan. I assume he
must have got hurt in this game. Jaden McMillan two touchdowns,

Rashad White two touchdowns, Mike Evins sixty nine yards, Kid
out in seven yards, and then on the other side,
Desmond Rider got in the game as eight and O'Connell
really struggled. So not grant game overall for the Raiders
as they the Raiders stay brutal as normal. They are
in the hunt. They're two eleven right now, so they
are pretty much done. They are done, if I say

the least, They're so bad they're gonna need a quarterback.
This is Shadar Sanders is gonna be on their list
for sure, and then the Jags absolutely winning a stinker game.
Another another win streak for the Jags, ten to six
over the Titans Missouri Titans Will Levis again just not
looking good. No no interceptions, no passing touchdowns, though Tony
Pollard also struggled. But yeah, so nonetheless a fun little
(10:33):
week for them. In the Monday Night Football, the Bengals
getting there bounce finally Jamar Chase one hundred ninety one
yards two touchdowns, and then Chase Brown the Canadian, the
Canadian RB who is likely gonna rush for one thousand yards,
has one hundred and twenty three yards on the ground
for a touchdown on fourteen carries, and man, he looks good.

I have him in fantasy him and Rico Dawdle. I
needed a certain amount of points to get to day
in the playoffs, right, I needed to win and I
just needed fifteen points between the two and I got
that easy. But then to beat the Medians. So in
my one league, shout out it to uh uncle Jonathan,
if you're listening, I'm in this league. It's Toronto Toronto League,
(11:17):
and you need you play two weeks, well two games
per week. You play the media in the average score,
and then you play an opponent. So I already beat
the opponent, but I needed to beat the median score,
which was actually really high that week. It was like
one oh one point three. I ended up with one
(11:38):
oh one point seven. So I jumped up to the
fifth seed, and I have to play the team that
I beat this week again, so that's gonna be an
interesting matchup. My team's looking really good. My wide receivers
Am and Raw, Puka, Chase Brown, Ricodoudle, Kyler Murray's my quarterback.
I've got a really solid team, so I'm happy with that.
On the other side of seed, Lamb another great game,

touchdown ninety four yards on six receptions. We go down
again in great game one hundred and forty one yards
on eighteen carries. Again the Bengals d just absolutely stinking
it up in terms of stopping I mean, this is
a Cowboys offense. Who I mean, I don't know how
they're putting up points with Cooper Rushes looked. Okay, we'll
give him that. He's a good backup in my opinion,

But yeah, I think Dak was there, they would have
a decent shot. But it just hasn't. Things haven't gone
right for them, and that's just what happens. But nonetheless,
I was a it was a great NFL week. We
have a big matchup the Rams. Oh I missed. I
missed the big game the Rams and the Bills. A
forty four to forty two win from the Los Angeles Rams,

some people considering it the game of the year, as
the Rams barely sneak out with one the offense firing
on all cylinders, Matthew Stafford throwing for two passing touchdowns,
Kyle Williams seeing the end zone twice on two rushing touchdowns,
and they also had a block punt touchdown. Teams for
the Rams that do well, I'll take that every day.
(13:03):
But Puka and Akua unstoppable one hundred and eighty yards
receiving on two touchdowns, Kymer Williams ninety seven yards total,
two touchdowns, Cooper Cup ninety two yards and a touchdown.
Great game for them. The defense, I mean, it's not
much you can do against Josh Allen. He puts up
an all time He throws for three passing touchdowns and
rushes three passing touchdowns, and they still rushes for three touchdowns.

And they still lose. I don't even know how that's possible.
I mean, the Rams de hung in there. There was
a point where they were up by by ten, it
was like fourst it was two score, it was a
two score game, and then they just figured found a
way to win. So a crazy game from Matthew Stafford
and the receiving in the offense. The defense still has
(13:48):
a lot of questions in my opinion. The secondary is
not looking great. Darius Williams was just getting targeted with
a big game from Khalil Shakira with one hundred and
six yards and a touchdown as well. But they're going
to have to keep this up. They got a big
game on Thursday, the Niners and the Rams, so we
know I know a lot of line Niners fans, and
that's gonna be a fun game as always. But we
(14:10):
have our last three out of four games against divisional opponents.
I think we win two out of three of those
divisional opponent games. We play Cardinals, we play Niners, then
we play the Jets, then I'm pretty sure the Seahawks
and the Cardinals, or might be Cardinals Seahawks. But yeah,
we need to win two out of three to make playoffs.
In my opinion, the divisional games matters. I think if
(14:32):
we want to shut at the NFC West, we definitely have.
But we got to beat the Seahawks. I mean, that's
a huge game because it's so close, it's so jammed,
and even the forty nine ers are not out of
it as much as I think they were out of
it if they proved otherwise this week. So be interesting
to see how they can bounce back. But yeah, it was.
(14:54):
It was a ridiculous week in terms of the NFL.
It should should be a fun one another US. Nonetheless, though,
let's let's kind of break down here. It's it's really, really,
really crazy MLB free agency. I mean, I don't love
(15:18):
going in the MLB. I like watching the Blue Jays,
the blueches are my favorite team, But what talking about it?
It can kind of get you know, Wansto was signing
for a seven hundred and fifty million dollar deal for
fifteen years. Fifteen years. I'm not even I'm sixteen years old.
He's signing fifteen years. I've never seen that. Incredible. He's
gonna be there until he's forty one. The New York
(15:40):
MAT's signing him to a massive extension I've seen. I
mean all you always see these stats on what players
make per minute. This guy, this guy per second is
making like a dollar. This is ridiculous, Like think about it.
If you're just walking down the street. Oh a second,
that's a dollar dollar, dollar, dollar. That is crazy. I

don't even understand. That's a lot of money. I knew
the Jays weren't gonna get him, and I'm happy they
didn't because that is so much money and for so
long I would not want to be tied into that.
The Jays did make a trade, they just traded Spencer Horwitz. Unfortunately,
our best prospect in my opinion, had a great show
in last year. But we're getting a great our future

second basement who's here till twenty thirty. Just an interesting
trade again from the Guardians, which I'm not he's not
a great hitter andres Heimenez he's a three time gold
Glove though, and again we're going with a lot of
people are comparing him to the Dalton bar show of

the infield. So we're getting our second basement for the future.
But again where we're lacking hitting, So Ross Atkins, if
you want to prove me wrong, and not look like
a loser. Go get some hitting. That's what we need.
See how they can pivot from that. They also get
a decent reliever out of it as well, so it'll
be really interesting to see how they can rebound. Now
(17:09):
if they get they get their second basement. They're always
getting defense. They went defense because when their defense exploded
against the Mariners back in the playoffs, when they lost
up when they're up seven to two, all Bluess fans
remember that Boba Shttens, George Springers clyde into each other.
They need to get some hitten like this is because

they're like, you can't win if you don't hit the baseball,
as simple as that. I think defense is most important
in baseball, but they have so much defense, Like the
Dodgers strictly won on their absolute bomb of a lineup
and their decent pitching. If you get some good hitting,
some timely hits, that's all you can ask for. So

you you they're they're gonna have to pivot and get
some some hitten. I mean they went after one out
of this year, didn't get after show Hey, didn't get him,
So there's two failures. Now, someone who can hit the Ball.
Anthony Santandero was one of them that they're linked to.
We had Max Fried go to the Yankees after some
some talks about blue Jays maybe getting them, and then
Corbyn Burns is linked to the Blue Jays as well.

Crazy starting picture, but I'm not very sure if we're
real to get him, especially considering all these guys we've
been linked to and none of them we're actually getting.
So yeah, that was my quick little MLB talk. But
goodness gracious, I mean not. We'll see how we pivot.

Edmonson Elks organization. They signing trade Ford to a three
year extension. He can make up to one point two
million dollars in total dollars if all of his bonuses hit,
so that's a big w for the team. Very interesting

knew that he wasn't going anywhere else, but it's great
to just say, hey, we have trade Ford back. As
much as the Elks are overlooked, they were very close
last year. They were just just on the edge. Now
trade Ford's getting paid starting money. They have two starting
quarterbacks making starting money, so let's see how they can.
They're gonna use Tradeford next year. I assume going in

he's going to be the starter. But if things are
aren't going well, NBT is always there and that's a
great option for us. Gina Lewis is also free agent,
so that's gonna be interesting to see if we actually
signed him back. He was a great wide receiver for
the Elks, but great to see Tray back. He was
the reason why I went to the games last year
and I bought a season ticket seventy six dollars Canadian
a youth ticket. So gonna be going to a ton

of Elks games next year. It's a lot of fun.
But yeah, yeah, great signing. That was kind of the
the big news in terms of Edmonton. Zach Hamon did
get back in the lineup. I guess if that's some
big news that happened a little while ago, but yes,
crazy stuff. Edmonton. One of news get a huge win

last night. I was at the game two to one,
just sneaking it past uh Vassie Vassy normally dominates them.
McDavid scoring a breakaway goal, splitting the d with his
speed and sniping at home and then the winner Drastle
and then Vassi hits headman pops into his own nets.

So it was getting a little bit lucky on that one.
But at the end of the game also a high
stick that went in with eight seconds with the goalie
polts for Tampa. The Oilers, I thought, out played Tampa
in that hockey game, though, so they deserved definitely to
win it. It was pretty crazy stuff in terms of that.

But the Oilers have looked really good. They got Vegas
in the Wild coming up, but that is gonna be
really tough, very tough schedule coming up, so see how
they can rebound. They take on the Wild actually tomorrow,
because I'm recording this on Wednesday, December eleventh. They played
the Wild tomorrow six thirty Thursday, December twelfth, and the
(21:43):
Golden Knights taking on the Oilers on Saturday at two pm.
The Oilers on the road against the Wild and then
back at home against Vegas at two pm. Gave a
little bit of a weird one afternoon or for Saturday.
See how they can rebound from there. Keep going, keep pushing.
They're playing well. The goaltending has been great the last

five starts. Stuart Skinner has been over a nine to
forty save percentage. Keep it going, keep getting wins. They
they gotta keep finding their ways to climb the standings.
Right now, they're sitting in the second wild cards pot.
It's going to be interesting to see how they can
keep pushing, see if they can do I mean, you know,
the big guys, the big guns are gonna do it.
Dry still the first to get the twenty goals this season.
Goodness gracious, I'm just look good on his way back,

so they they're figuring stuff out. Pad Colton's looked pretty
good as well on that heat. Be interesting to see
how they how they how they handle it. Darnel Nurse,
let's give him some appreciation. He has been great this year,

He's been very good, very solid defensively, so you got

to give him some props on the other end. But
the big news that came out this week, the big
big stuff Canada's roster coming out for the Four Nations tournament.
For people that don't know. This year, the NHL added
a four nations tournament where they can basically take a

break in February and they go play international hockey. Who
doesn't love international hockey. It's the best, It's the best
of its kind, right, So just the team came out,
Sharelli Hagel, just really interesting stuff. I'm very excited to

see how they play. All the rosters look good. The
goaltenders come out. Skinner did not make it. The only
oiler to make it, obviously was Conor McDavid, which is
a little surprising. Colton Perreco is the third right wing,
which I mean, right, d excuse me. We're kind of
expecting Bouchyard maybe there, or Hyman getting in the lineup somewhere.

But I mean, it's gonna be fun to watch. The
first line is gonna be so gross, and the power
play McCarran, McDavid, it's gonna be fun. It's gonna be
so fun to watch. That is around February, so we'll
kind of leave it at that. The rosters came out.
You can go check them sure anywhere, like just search
them up and they will pop up. But it looks

a lot of fun. I was kind of shocked that
they went for a defensive approach, especially looking at their
goals because they're they're looking at a winning approach because
you look at the American goal is Otnger, Hellabuck and Swaymen.
I mean, that is a combo to not overlook. But yeah,

it's gonna it's gonna be so fun. The four seas,
the four centers, Cosby, m McDavid, McKinnon, that's gonna be ridiculous.
I mean, you're basically having some of the best players
of the generation. Connor Badard does make the team, so
that's an interesting one, but you're having some of the
best players of this generation on Team Canada, all of them, McKinnon, mccallar, McDavid,

and then but Dark when he gets in the Olympics.
So ridiculous stuff, crazy, crazy stuff. But yeah, it was
just a great week for sports. None of the last
two is fun. Breaking it down with you guys listening,
it's gonna be really interesting to see. Right now. You
have the NBA playing Tournament, which I'm not really keeping

up on. But the last thing I want to touch
on the college football playoffs bracket coming out. Fun to
watch Oregon the Bulldogs getting both the one to two buys.
Tennessee and OSU will play SMU, Penn State, Clemson, Texas, Indiana,

Notre Dame, and the bowl games were big in factor
in ASU getting the fourth by So wow, I did
not really expect that to be completely endless with you. Yes,
you a get the buye, but Alabama staying out SMU
getting the final spot so too bad for Alabama. You
can't lose big games. But it's gonna be fun. This

is so great that they added for people that don't know.
It used to be just the four teams made the
top four teams in college football made it. Now they've
expended it twelve and it makes it so much more
entertaining because there's more games and you got so many
more teams that can win. Georgia Carson back getting hurt

in the game as well and their backup getting hurt,
So be interesting to see how the two seed can
maybe get a little bit of a break. That was
a huge way to get a buy for them, beating
Texas with a backup quarterback. So you can't take Georgia lightly.
But Oregon looks like the wagon. It's gonna be really
tough to stop them. Interesting to see how some of
these games play out. Ohio State also losing to Michigan.

People seeing that everywhere, the fight after the game, crazy
crazy stuff like goodness, gracious, that's that's what sports are
all about. But yeah, just gonna be a real fun
couple of weeks coming up here. I'm likely gonna record
a part maybe later this week, but yeah, well so
they try and get a guest sometimes soon as well.
