head host of this. It was a crazy week for football, unbelievable.
And I'm speaking quadra right now because it's kind of late,

so I don't like to yell, which a lot of
you are used to hearing my voice very very loud.
So hopefully this is a little break for you guys,
but I'm gonna try and keep it down a little
bit at this time. But anyways, a crazy, crazy week
for sports. World Juniors were on. Everyone loves their World

Juniors if you're a hockey fan where there's are having
a bit of a rough patch of hockey here in
the NFL. Some of the best games we've seen have
happened in the last three days. So it was a
crazy week. I should be wearing my rams jersey right now,
not to mention we're in. We're in, but it was.
(01:32):
It's been fun. It was a lot of fun watching sports.
I played a lot of poker, but just with my
friends for fun, and uh, you know it was awesome.
Let's break down here in the NFL because that's the
recap that everyone wants to hear, and then we'll get
into our segments or in two new segments that we're doing,
(01:54):
we're doing hot takes and text it. So if you
want to text into the show and put in a

down this NFL little time here, starting off with my
Fantasy football. Unfortunately, I ended up losing to my father

in the championship game, which was really unfortunate for me.
I lost by ten points, mostly because Jerome Ford got
hurt in the first quarter, so that really stunk. Sam
DARNLDS had a great day, but Jamar Chase and Pukiniku
in either of them getting in the end zone and
in the standard leak, that is the difference. So I

ended up losing that. So second place still take the money,
but not what I was there for. I was there
to win, and I just wasn't able to do it.
I wasn't able to do it this year. But let's
let's start where where this This week started off a
little weird, the Seahawks beating the Bear of sixty three.
I don't really know where to start with this one.
(03:24):
Geno Smith fraud. I mean, Seahawks are not a playoff team.
I hate to say it. They got some great young
players the defense side of the ball, some good players,
but man Von Witherspoon, great corner, Zach Charbonney looked pretty average.
Jackson Smith and Jacob pretty average. But they have some
(03:47):
good upcoming rookies. So they're gonna have a decision to
make on their hands. But Geno Smith, this win. Obviously,
they were banking on a Rams loss and there was
a weird scenario on clinching. The Rams kind of got
the situation and they had three out of the six
games that were possible for the Rams to clinch. So
(04:12):
the Rams found a way to do it and they're in.
So the Seahawks, I mean, they're gonna have some interesting decisions,
especially with Gino. Tyler Locke was on a a contract year,
so it's good to see Jackson Smith and Jig but
really take the helm on this one. The Bears three points.
(04:34):
Caleb Williams not good defense, great offense, not good DeAndre
Swift saw again, but they could not find their way
into the end zone and it just couldn't happen going
(04:55):
into the next one here. The next game, we had Saturday,
some fun savage Saturday games, the Chargers beating the Patriots
forty to seven. Forty to seven. My sister's coming down
right now, goodness, gracious, forty to seven. I mean, Drake
(05:15):
May good passing touchdown again, he was okay, to say
the least, he was okay. But again the future looks good.
Drake may The defense, they're supposed to have a good defense.
They always have a good defense. In this game, they
just couldn't figure it out. They couldn't figure out Justin
(05:36):
Herbert three passing touchdowns, Laden McConkey, great steal of the pick,
two touchdowns as well. JK. Dobbins also finding the end zone.
So that was a big one for them. The Chargers
clinching their playoff spot with the win over the Patriots.
No one was surprised about that one. Then we came
(05:57):
into maybe the game of the year the Bengals and
the Broncos. The Bengals finding a way to win thirty
to twenty four in overtime with time taking down. But man,
this was a wild one. It came down to the end,
both teams having multiple chances, then the Bengals scoring the
(06:17):
touchdown to take the lead. The Broncos get it with
not much time left. Bow Knicks puts it up Marvin
Mims Junior out of nowhere. Out of nowhere exceptions two touchdowns,
one hundred and two yards. He racks in the final
touchdown for the overtime extension. Then it comes down Joe
(06:40):
Burr gets stopped, the Broncos get it, get stopped, the
Bengals get stopped. Then the Broncos are going to go
for the tie. Is they would get in with a tie,
and the Bengals had to win this football game to
get in to get a chance. If the Broncos lose
next week and Week eighteen against the Chiefs when all

the players are resting, so that's likely not going to happen,
and the Dolphins lose in but the Dolphins obviously have
to lose against the Jets, so that's not happening about.
I'll tell you why. I'm about to breakdown. But it
ended up the Bengals d got a great stop and

they got the ball in Joe Burrow's hands to find
T Higgins again. Three touchdowns on eleven receptions, and this
is why you have such a good receiver. Jamar Chase
did have nine receptions of one hundred and two yards,
but he was not effective. He had one big catch,
one big forty fifty yard catch, and other than that,

Patrick certain had him locked down in that football game.
So it was really T Higgins who has a contract year.
And there was reporters asking Jamar was to you aware
that this could have been his last game playing for
the Bengals in their stadium. He said, yes, of course
he's aware, but it's an if, right, So it shows

you the value of T. Higgins and when he's really
done for this offense, I need to at you here.
Holy anyways, that might take a little bit at it
and if not, I'm sorry. But yeah, like I was saying,
(08:25):
jamarche is not as effect I'm not good for my
fantasy team. Didn't find a way to get in the
end zone. He dropped a touchdown which t had three
catches and he just had the step. But like I'm saying,
this offense of five hundred totally yards, Joe Burrow is
has a case for MVP if his team makes the playoffs,
(08:48):
He's got a case. His defense is twenty ninth, his
O line is thirtieth, and his team is in a playoffs.
Like people say, without Joe Burrow, you're probably looking at
a three and fourteen football team. You're looking at a
team was not good and has Jamar Chase and t Higgins,
(09:09):
not good defense, not good old line. They've never had
a good old line and it hasn't been addressed. But
there's many times in this game Chase Brown getting hurt,
which is a big one. Whereas Zach Taylor, I'm like,
what are you doing? Risking a big, big part in
this one, but finding a way to get it done.
So it was. It was a great game, a lot

of different weird things like these are the best games
when so many different things can happen. Broncos go for
the tie, No, the Bengals hit the ball back. No,
they find she Higgins for the third touchdown. That's what
that game was like, a lot of fun. My Rams
beating the Cardinals in terrible fashion. Oh my goodness, here
you get me started, Buka Crazy Day Cup, invisible one catch,

twenty nine yards, a lot of fantasy people, unhappy Stafford again,
not a great day. Seventeen for thirty two not good.
But the defense again finds its way. Trey McBride gets
in the end zone and one hundred and twenty three yards.
He finds his way in the end zone, but again
this is not what we wanted. A Kell Witherspoon just

intercepting the ball on the on the three yard line.
The Cardinals always looking unstoppable on that final drive, and
we just got lucky with McBride getting hit in the
head with the with the ball. He was crying after
which I feel bad for the guy, but he absolutely
cooked our team. So that was a no less interesting game.

The Ramps didn't deserve to win it, but we find
a way to clinch the playoff spot. We don't have
to play the Seahawks with the real implications next week,
so it'd be interesting. We can either play right now,
we can break down the NFC because the NFC is
practically set, but with the Lions win tonight, which will
break down we'll break this down after, Okay, after I

go through the Monday night game, which I have a
lot to say on this one. The Sunday games will
kind of go through fast. The Giants finding a way
to beat the Colts, kind of knocking them out of
playoff position forty five to thirty three. Oh my goodness,
A lot to say, Malik nervous is the future. Two
touchdowns one hundred and seventy one yards Drew Locke, four
passing touchdowns Drew lock Prime but man finding a way

to beat Indiana where Joe Flacco had two interceptions, two
passing touchdowns, Michael Pittman getting in the end zone one
hundred and nine yards, Alec Pierce a touchdown one hundred
and twenty two yards. JT Jonathan Taylor two touchdowns on
thirty two carries one hundred and thirty six yards. Not
a great Russian average, but hey, he finds his way

in the end zone twice. So great for me and
fantasy in my one league, even though it didn't matter.
The box absolutely ripping the Panthers apart. Mike Evans seeing
two touchdowns, Bucky your In one hundred and ninety yards
on twenty carries. Huh, he's averaging five point seven. So
let's look at Bucky Irving here. This is his last

five games, one hundred and fifty two, one hundred and
eighty five eighteen he got hurt one one thirteen ninety two,
one ninety you. That's all I gotta say to that,
really really good stuff. The Raiders beating the Saints twenty
five to ten. Massive win for the Raiders, a mirror

of Doula you gross twenty carries one hundred and forty
seven yards. On the other side, Spencer Rattler having a
not great game, throwing two interceptions, but it was the
Raiders game to win, and Aidan O'Connell find a way
to do it. Rock Bowers beating the rookie reception record

and most yards by a tight end as a rookie,
so congrats to him. What a day from him. The
Jaguars shining to barely beat the Titans. Brian Thomas Jr.
Most receiving yards as a rookie this year, so Milik
Neighbors and bar Burs are there as well. So both
LSU guys look at this. This is what I saw.

Jane Diagnos LSU Brian Thomas LSU, Milik Nighbors LSU, Joe Burrow, LSU,
Jamar Chase LSU, T Higgins LSU, not T Higgins, justin Jefferson.
That's what I gotta say that the future LSU, they

make great players, take note of that, and it's just
been fun to watch those two dominate. Mason Rudolph average
as normal, Taj Spear is getting twenty carries though one
hundred and three yards. Finally getting to see him get
some carries was nice. The Bills absolutely smoking the Jets.

I mean, let's not even get into the Jets. Do
they even deserve air time? I don't even think so.
Everyone getting the end zone for Josh Allen with two
passing touchdowns one rushing touchdown of his own. I mean,
not the greatest game from Josh Allen, but forty points.
Mitchell Chibiski even throughing a passing touchdown Michell Tibetski kind
of even forgot he was in the league, to be honest,

He's embarrassed legends. But again, the Bills, they did their
job taking down the Jets. Aaron Rodgers Tyrod Taylor came
into the game and threw two passing touchdowns in the
fourth corner. I mean, he's got to start next week, right.

They didn't score all game. Aaron Rodgers had two interceptions,
he also fumbled. Why is he going to be in
the game next week? I don't know. He shouldn't be.
Jets are a mess, a mess. They're gonna have to
totally rebuild. I mean, there's no look at this. They're
really bad. They're gonna get a good draft pick, Go

get a quarterback. That's what I gotta say. Aaron Rodgers,
piece piece out, That's what I gotta say. Eagles winning
forty one to seven. But wow, this is quite a game.
If you listen to part in my tick podcast, they
are a huge fan of Tanner McKee, and Tanner McKee
came in two passing touchdowns the third string quarterback. Can

you pick it? With a day as well getting hurt,
but a passing touchdown. Saquon Barkley get into two thousand
rushing yards. He's got a chance to do it for
the record next week. I believe he needs seven year
eighty more. But I don't think they're gonna plan because
they're a top team and they need to rest. But

the Eagles of force with any quarterback. So the Cowboys
even had some life in these last final games, almost
beating the Bengals, beat the Bucks, and then they do this.

Robinson brutal, Jerry Judy again looking like an elite wide receiver.

Tyler Huntley finally airing the ball. This is what happens

when you have a quarterback that can take a hit.

take a hit, they can throw deep to Tyreek Hill.
It's as simple as that, simple as that. But yeah,
it was crazy. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bang

not great. But we fixed it this week because I
was holding my mic and I realized when I listened
that it was kind of stuttery. But we fixed it
this week Anyways, back to the football, Sam Donald absolutely

cooking up thirty year quarterbacks. Sam Donald three passing touchdowns,
one interception, Justin Jefferson cooking, Jordan Abison cooking twenty seventy
to twenty five. And this is going to be a
big question mark for the Vikings. Do they bring back
Sam Donald after drafting Jiji McCarthy. I don't know. With that,

they might have two franchise quarterbacks in their hands, so
you never know. Sam Donald's still pretty young, but he's
lookating so elite and at this point I wouldn't say
to Justin Jefferson it might be Sam Donald. There was
a point where Baker May and Sam Darnold were bottom

of the bottom, fighting for spots on teams, and now
they are second and third passing yards. Crazy how that works.
They figured it out, They figured the NFL out, They
figured out how to play it an elite level in
this league. And give them props. They figured it out.

Then the big game for the Los Angeles Rams the
Commanders beating the Falcons, which now I can kind of
break down the implications. So the Rams needed three out
of six games if they won for them to go
their way to make the Buffs. The Commanders needed to
beat the Falcons. The Vikings need to beat the Packers

the or Saturday. I'm trying to remember the other ones.
You could have had the Browns to beat the Dolphins,
which didn't happen, the Bills to beat the Jets, which happened.
So you only needed three of those. There's two other
ones that weren't had no chance that happened, but they
(19:09):
got the three. They had the Bills, the Vikings, and
the Commanders. Oh yeah, and Sincy. They need Sincy to
beat the Broncos, and they ran. I don't know how
the other division stuff worked, but that's what that's what
worked out for them to get in so huge way
to clinch next week. They have some other options of

playoff bonds, so if they lose, if they lose next week,
which they might, if they bench everyone, this is how
it would work out to be. The Lines and the
Vikings have a duel next week, a dual. Whoever wins
that will win the NFC win the NFC, and that's
(19:54):
a huge game because if you win the NFC, you
get the buy and you get playoffs home. Whole way
that is that is incredible. Holy Google just went off. Hey,
Google off. I don't even know how that happened. That

was creepy. Google just went off. Anyways, the Lions fourteen
and two against the Vikings fourteen and two. The Rams
could play right now, that are set by the Commanders.
If they lose, they would either play the loser of
the Vikings and Lions. I would rather play Washington and

experienced Washington team easy, not even close, but more the
Vikings the Lions. I mean, I think we got a
shot out every every team other than the Eagles. To
be honest, we match up with every team other than
the Eagles. It's just going to depend how the Bucks
and kind of how it works out. But yeah, I

mean a lot of implications. Let's get to the Monday
night game now, the Lions taking down the San Francisco
forty nine Ers forty to thirty four. Forty thirty four. Wow,
it looked like for most of the first half the

forty nine Ers had them, had them brought party three
and for throwing for three passing touchdowns and then two
costly interceptions. In this second half, Ricky Pursal going absolutely crazy.
I'm gonna have to draft him next year because he
might be the future. One hundred and forty seven yards
a touchdown, eight receptions, starch Kit all good as normal,

one hundred and twelve yards, eight receptions, Isaac Garrendo nine
carries thirty four roush yards but ninety nine all purpose.
And then the big stat Jake Moody missing both field
goals and an extra point just can't do that. They
lose by six points, and if he makes all of
his field goals, it's forty one forty that's the kicking

is huge. And if you have a guy who's in
his time with the Foreign nine ers has missed a
lot of big kicks, I think it's time for him
for him to get cut. It's a big opportunity for
him to get cut tomorrow or the next day. Because

I would not be surprised if he gets cut Detroit again.
Buzzin Jamior Gibbs maybe the best RB in the league
in my opinion, when he doesn't have monty one hundred
and sixty three yards, eighteen carries, one hundred and seventeen

rushing yards a touchdown, Jamison Williams finding the end zone
with two twice, La Pattie end zone once, Almonroe end
zone once. But man, if you pick any player on
the lines, they're gonna have a day at some point.
And me, I'm looking to pick Gibbs next year in
fantasy because he is going to be boom unless he
gets injured, guaranteed, even if Monty's taking careries, he's a boom.

But again, Jameson Williams also a sneaky pick this year,
so if you got him, you're happy with that. But yeah,
that was the football recap. The Saturday games, the Browns
and Ravens, Bengals and Steelers, and not really any kind
of important games to look for other than the Vikings

lines on Sunday Night Football, the last one of the
regular season, and that's a funnel one at six point twenty.
A lot of these games don't really matter too much,
like as much as you know they would like. But
right now, looking at the draft order, after the Giants win,

they lose control of their first overall pick. That very
weird and the Patriots have the first overall pick. As
if it was stand right now, they would love that.
They already have drink may But that's the question remains.
Travis Hunter. Does he get picked to play a corner?

To play a corner on this football team, but they
need offensive web so there's a literal chance that could happen.
I'm wearing my Colorado sweater right now. I should be
wearing my Ram shirt, but this is just what I
ended up wearing. And yeah, yeah, I mean that's really
all you gotta say about that. The Browns bad, They're

in that mix as well. So the draft order looks
interesting for next year. It's gonna be fun in the
off season to talk about that in some more depth.
The hope I can find someone to talk about it
with because it's gonna be fun. But yeah, there's some
interesting games that the Broncos win there in if they
don't and the Dolphins win there, and the Dolphins and

Broncos loosen, the Bengals win there, and so yeah, Carson
Wentz maybe can get the job done again. I guess
we'll see. He did it for the Rams last year.
It's a possibility. I guess we'll never know, Brian Carson wentz,
we miss them, We sure do. But yeah, the one

been insane and the Golden And has not been great
as usual. But again you can't blow leads against the Ducks,

Field sniping at past Skinner. But not much you can do.
It's just how it is and the others playing. You
probably listened to this before they play Utah tomorrow, which
is Tuesday, December thirty first at home. They could use

big win in that, and then they have their next
game on Friday against the Ducks, again at home. So
when those two get back and the wind call them
the Kings have two points above you, they would love
that win. The Knights are really carrying away with this,
so it'd be good for the Oilers to find a

way to get that back. But other than that, the
Oilers Jeff Skinner, he hasn't found his role, which is weird.
I guess that's why they got him, got his contract,
and he just hasn't found his way with the team.
It's kind of like Connor Brown did. The Weather's getting
some very unlucky, unlucky things. They got luck with Zach

Himan with his five point five million dollar contract. He
is heating. He's been heat, been hot, scoring tons of goals,
so that's something to keep out for. He's been money.
Boush has still been Bousche, making bad decisions in his
own zone. But other than that, I mean Arbitson's back again.

When I released that clip on Arbitson beat on the
power play, he wasn't. But then Nude had a crazy game,
so of course that happens to me. I still like
Arvidson there, but yeah, that's kind of my oilers, little shamble.
I'm we'll get We'll touch on the World Juniors here
because I'm kind of pushing thirty minutes and right now

when I when I want to hate interview, all going out,
but here thirty minutes. Canada losing the Latvia in the
World Juniors fifty to twenty. What Yeah, they got a
goalie the shots from fifteen to twenty. They lost three

to two in a shootout, not swin once in the
shootout on eight shooters. That's wild, kinda couldn't score, but
they ended up winning two back to back. They beat
Germany three nothing, and then they also beat Philin four nothing.
When Filin beat the US they play the US one.

I guess when you're listening to this podcast on the
thirty first Tuesday New Year's Eve, have five thirty big
game the United It's just lost to Finland. So both
teams kind of interesting losses. Let's see how they can
you can take it doesn't matter in terms of it

kind of matters during lacing. But ride the big game
will be, will come. So that's all I gotta say
to that. Let's kind of get to our two segments
of the day. The first one is our text line.
I like the end the popatis too. We have a

They are washed not find their way to to win
football games. Oh yeah, I totally missed the Christmas games,
the Steelers losing to the Chiefs twenty Oh wait, did

I do a pod? I can't remember why I broke
these down, but yeah, George Pickens, he was crushing on.
The Chiefs beat the Steelers twenty nine to ten on
Christmas not great, and the Ravens beat the Texans thirty
one to two on the most boring game ever. I mean,

these were just both born Christmas games and Mahomes was cooking,
Lamar was cooking, and the Texans couldn't figure it out.
CJ Shroud scoffling saying this could be the worst game
he's ever played. And the Steelers, Scoffling on a huge
losing streak, ended up being ten and six. And that's

all I gotta say about the Steelers and the text
line for today, if you want to text in seventy
two five six, please text in something for me to
talk about. Then my hot take, my final hot take
of the night before we wrap this one up, my

hot take for the day. This is this one's gonna
be wild. I know it may not sound. The Detroit
Lions are first round exits. You heard it here, their
first round exits. Why I think that their defense? Bang goun,

You're gonna play one of these fiery offenses. Play the
Rams fiery offense. After beating them twice in big games,
the Rams are going to be back at home. Possibly
actually would have to be at home. I want the Ram.
I want the lines at home every day. I think
we got it. The lines of first round exits. You

If that's the case, then the vikings a first round exits.

for sports. World Juniors were on. Everyone loves their World

Juniors if you're a hockey fan where there's are having
a bit of a rough patch of hockey here in
the NFL. Some of the best games we've seen have
happened in the last three days. So it was a
crazy week. I should be wearing my rams jersey right now,
not to mention we're in. We're in, but it was.

It's been fun. It was a lot of fun watching sports.
I played a lot of poker, but just with my
friends for fun, and uh, you know it was awesome.
Let's break down here in the NFL because that's the
recap that everyone wants to hear, and then we'll get
into our segments or in two new segments that we're doing,
(01:54):
we're doing hot takes and text it. So if you
want to text into the show and put in a
I don't know, if you want to put in a
little note about something seven eight zero eight two five

So that's just a little note on text in if
you want to. But yeah, let's let's start to break
down this NFL little time here, starting off with my
Fantasy football. Unfortunately, I ended up losing to my father

in the championship game, which was really unfortunate for me.
I lost by ten points, mostly because Jerome Ford got
hurt in the first quarter, so that really stunk. Sam
DARNLDS had a great day, but Jamar Chase and Pukiniku
in either of them getting in the end zone and
in the standard leak, that is the difference. So I
(03:02):
ended up losing that. So second place still take the money,
but not what I was there for. I was there
to win, and I just wasn't able to do it.
I wasn't able to do it this year. But let's
let's start where where this This week started off a
little weird, the Seahawks beating the Bear of sixty three.
I don't really know where to start with this one.
(03:24):
Geno Smith fraud. I mean, Seahawks are not a playoff team.
I hate to say it. They got some great young
players the defense side of the ball, some good players,
but man Von Witherspoon, great corner, Zach Charbonney looked pretty average.
Jackson Smith and Jacob pretty average. But they have some
(03:47):
good upcoming rookies. So they're gonna have a decision to
make on their hands. But Geno Smith, this win. Obviously,
they were banking on a Rams loss and there was
a weird scenario on clinching. The Rams kind of got
the situation and they had three out of the six
games that were possible for the Rams to clinch. So
(04:12):
the Rams found a way to do it and they're in.
So the Seahawks, I mean, they're gonna have some interesting decisions,
especially with Gino. Tyler Locke was on a a contract year,
so it's good to see Jackson Smith and Jig but
really take the helm on this one. The Bears three points.
(04:34):
Caleb Williams not good defense, great offense, not good DeAndre
Swift saw again, but they could not find their way
into the end zone and it just couldn't happen going
(04:55):
into the next one here. The next game, we had Saturday,
some fun savage Saturday games, the Chargers beating the Patriots
forty to seven. Forty to seven. My sister's coming down
right now, goodness, gracious, forty to seven. I mean, Drake
(05:15):
May good passing touchdown again, he was okay, to say
the least, he was okay. But again the future looks good.
Drake may The defense, they're supposed to have a good defense.
They always have a good defense. In this game, they
just couldn't figure it out. They couldn't figure out Justin
(05:36):
Herbert three passing touchdowns, Laden McConkey, great steal of the pick,
two touchdowns as well. JK. Dobbins also finding the end zone.
So that was a big one for them. The Chargers
clinching their playoff spot with the win over the Patriots.
No one was surprised about that one. Then we came
(05:57):
into maybe the game of the year the Bengals and
the Broncos. The Bengals finding a way to win thirty
to twenty four in overtime with time taking down. But man,
this was a wild one. It came down to the end,
both teams having multiple chances, then the Bengals scoring the
(06:17):
touchdown to take the lead. The Broncos get it with
not much time left. Bow Knicks puts it up Marvin
Mims Junior out of nowhere. Out of nowhere exceptions two touchdowns,
one hundred and two yards. He racks in the final
touchdown for the overtime extension. Then it comes down Joe
(06:40):
Burr gets stopped, the Broncos get it, get stopped, the
Bengals get stopped. Then the Broncos are going to go
for the tie. Is they would get in with a tie,
and the Bengals had to win this football game to
get in to get a chance. If the Broncos lose
next week and Week eighteen against the Chiefs when all
(07:02):
the players are resting, so that's likely not going to happen,
and the Dolphins lose in but the Dolphins obviously have
to lose against the Jets, so that's not happening about.
I'll tell you why. I'm about to breakdown. But it
ended up the Bengals d got a great stop and
(07:23):
they got the ball in Joe Burrow's hands to find
T Higgins again. Three touchdowns on eleven receptions, and this
is why you have such a good receiver. Jamar Chase
did have nine receptions of one hundred and two yards,
but he was not effective. He had one big catch,
one big forty fifty yard catch, and other than that,
(07:43):
Patrick certain had him locked down in that football game.
So it was really T Higgins who has a contract year.
And there was reporters asking Jamar was to you aware
that this could have been his last game playing for
the Bengals in their stadium. He said, yes, of course
he's aware, but it's an if, right, So it shows

you the value of T. Higgins and when he's really
done for this offense, I need to at you here.
Holy anyways, that might take a little bit at it
and if not, I'm sorry. But yeah, like I was saying,
(08:25):
jamarche is not as effect I'm not good for my
fantasy team. Didn't find a way to get in the
end zone. He dropped a touchdown which t had three
catches and he just had the step. But like I'm saying,
this offense of five hundred totally yards, Joe Burrow is
has a case for MVP if his team makes the playoffs,
(08:48):
He's got a case. His defense is twenty ninth, his
O line is thirtieth, and his team is in a playoffs.
Like people say, without Joe Burrow, you're probably looking at
a three and fourteen football team. You're looking at a
team was not good and has Jamar Chase and t Higgins,
(09:09):
not good defense, not good old line. They've never had
a good old line and it hasn't been addressed. But
there's many times in this game Chase Brown getting hurt,
which is a big one. Whereas Zach Taylor, I'm like,
what are you doing? Risking a big, big part in
this one, but finding a way to get it done.
So it was. It was a great game, a lot
(09:30):
of different weird things like these are the best games
when so many different things can happen. Broncos go for
the tie, No, the Bengals hit the ball back. No,
they find she Higgins for the third touchdown. That's what
that game was like, a lot of fun. My Rams
beating the Cardinals in terrible fashion. Oh my goodness, here
you get me started, Buka Crazy Day Cup, invisible one catch,
(09:52):
twenty nine yards, a lot of fantasy people, unhappy Stafford again,
not a great day. Seventeen for thirty two not good.
But the defense again finds its way. Trey McBride gets
in the end zone and one hundred and twenty three yards.
He finds his way in the end zone, but again
this is not what we wanted. A Kell Witherspoon just
(10:15):
intercepting the ball on the on the three yard line.
The Cardinals always looking unstoppable on that final drive, and
we just got lucky with McBride getting hit in the
head with the with the ball. He was crying after
which I feel bad for the guy, but he absolutely
cooked our team. So that was a no less interesting game.

The Ramps didn't deserve to win it, but we find
a way to clinch the playoff spot. We don't have
to play the Seahawks with the real implications next week,
so it'd be interesting. We can either play right now,
we can break down the NFC because the NFC is
practically set, but with the Lions win tonight, which will
break down we'll break this down after, Okay, after I
(11:03):
go through the Monday night game, which I have a
lot to say on this one. The Sunday games will
kind of go through fast. The Giants finding a way
to beat the Colts, kind of knocking them out of
playoff position forty five to thirty three. Oh my goodness,
A lot to say, Malik nervous is the future. Two
touchdowns one hundred and seventy one yards Drew Locke, four
passing touchdowns Drew lock Prime but man finding a way
(11:29):
to beat Indiana where Joe Flacco had two interceptions, two
passing touchdowns, Michael Pittman getting in the end zone one
hundred and nine yards, Alec Pierce a touchdown one hundred
and twenty two yards. JT Jonathan Taylor two touchdowns on
thirty two carries one hundred and thirty six yards. Not
a great Russian average, but hey, he finds his way

in the end zone twice. So great for me and
fantasy in my one league, even though it didn't matter.
The box absolutely ripping the Panthers apart. Mike Evans seeing
two touchdowns, Bucky your In one hundred and ninety yards
on twenty carries. Huh, he's averaging five point seven. So
let's look at Bucky Irving here. This is his last
(12:11):
five games, one hundred and fifty two, one hundred and
eighty five eighteen he got hurt one one thirteen ninety two,
one ninety you. That's all I gotta say to that,
really really good stuff. The Raiders beating the Saints twenty
five to ten. Massive win for the Raiders, a mirror

of Doula you gross twenty carries one hundred and forty
seven yards. On the other side, Spencer Rattler having a
not great game, throwing two interceptions, but it was the
Raiders game to win, and Aidan O'Connell find a way
to do it. Rock Bowers beating the rookie reception record

and most yards by a tight end as a rookie,
so congrats to him. What a day from him. The
Jaguars shining to barely beat the Titans. Brian Thomas Jr.
Most receiving yards as a rookie this year, so Milik
Neighbors and bar Burs are there as well. So both
LSU guys look at this. This is what I saw.

Jane Diagnos LSU Brian Thomas LSU, Milik Nighbors LSU, Joe Burrow, LSU,
Jamar Chase LSU, T Higgins LSU, not T Higgins, justin Jefferson.
That's what I gotta say that the future LSU, they

make great players, take note of that, and it's just
been fun to watch those two dominate. Mason Rudolph average
as normal, Taj Spear is getting twenty carries though one
hundred and three yards. Finally getting to see him get
some carries was nice. The Bills absolutely smoking the Jets.

I mean, let's not even get into the Jets. Do
they even deserve air time? I don't even think so.
Everyone getting the end zone for Josh Allen with two
passing touchdowns one rushing touchdown of his own. I mean,
not the greatest game from Josh Allen, but forty points.
Mitchell Chibiski even throughing a passing touchdown Michell Tibetski kind
of even forgot he was in the league, to be honest,

He's embarrassed legends. But again, the Bills, they did their
job taking down the Jets. Aaron Rodgers Tyrod Taylor came
into the game and threw two passing touchdowns in the
fourth corner. I mean, he's got to start next week, right.

They didn't score all game. Aaron Rodgers had two interceptions,
he also fumbled. Why is he going to be in
the game next week? I don't know. He shouldn't be.
Jets are a mess, a mess. They're gonna have to
totally rebuild. I mean, there's no look at this. They're
really bad. They're gonna get a good draft pick, Go

get a quarterback. That's what I gotta say. Aaron Rodgers,
piece piece out, That's what I gotta say. Eagles winning
forty one to seven. But wow, this is quite a game.
If you listen to part in my tick podcast, they
are a huge fan of Tanner McKee, and Tanner McKee
came in two passing touchdowns the third string quarterback. Can

you pick it? With a day as well getting hurt,
but a passing touchdown. Saquon Barkley get into two thousand
rushing yards. He's got a chance to do it for
the record next week. I believe he needs seven year
eighty more. But I don't think they're gonna plan because
they're a top team and they need to rest. But

the Eagles of force with any quarterback. So the Cowboys
even had some life in these last final games, almost
beating the Bengals, beat the Bucks, and then they do this.
It was like really depressing, depressing. Indeed, the Dolphins absolutely

Robinson brutal, Jerry Judy again looking like an elite wide receiver.
I don't know what happened. Ninety four yards, twelve receptions.
It's good for PPR, easy one for Miami. Tyry Keill
nine reception of one hundred and five yards looking like himself.
Tyler Huntley finally airing the ball. This is what happens

when you have a quarterback that can take a hit.
When they can when you have a quarterback that can
take a hit, they can throw deep to Tyreek Hill.
It's as simple as that, simple as that. But yeah,
it was crazy. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bang
that my stand last week. There was also some audio issues.

Sorry to jump around, but I'm sorry because that was
not great. But we fixed it this week because I
was holding my mic and I realized when I listened
that it was kind of stuttery. But we fixed it
this week Anyways, back to the football, Sam Donald absolutely

cooking up thirty year quarterbacks. Sam Donald three passing touchdowns,
one interception, Justin Jefferson cooking, Jordan Abison cooking twenty seventy
to twenty five. And this is going to be a
big question mark for the Vikings. Do they bring back
Sam Donald after drafting Jiji McCarthy. I don't know. With that,

they might have two franchise quarterbacks in their hands, so
you never know. Sam Donald's still pretty young, but he's
lookating so elite and at this point I wouldn't say
to Justin Jefferson it might be Sam Donald. There was
a point where Baker May and Sam Darnold were bottom

of the bottom, fighting for spots on teams, and now
they are second and third passing yards. Crazy how that works.
They figured it out, They figured the NFL out, They
figured out how to play it an elite level in
this league. And give them props. They figured it out.

Then the big game for the Los Angeles Rams the
Commanders beating the Falcons, which now I can kind of
break down the implications. So the Rams needed three out
of six games if they won for them to go
their way to make the Buffs. The Commanders needed to
beat the Falcons. The Vikings need to beat the Packers
(18:47):
the or Saturday. I'm trying to remember the other ones.
You could have had the Browns to beat the Dolphins,
which didn't happen, the Bills to beat the Jets, which happened.
So you only needed three of those. There's two other
ones that weren't had no chance that happened, but they
(19:09):
got the three. They had the Bills, the Vikings, and
the Commanders. Oh yeah, and Sincy. They need Sincy to
beat the Broncos, and they ran. I don't know how
the other division stuff worked, but that's what that's what
worked out for them to get in so huge way
to clinch next week. They have some other options of
(19:32):
playoff bonds, so if they lose, if they lose next week,
which they might, if they bench everyone, this is how
it would work out to be. The Lines and the
Vikings have a duel next week, a dual. Whoever wins
that will win the NFC win the NFC, and that's
(19:54):
a huge game because if you win the NFC, you
get the buy and you get playoffs home. Whole way
that is that is incredible. Holy Google just went off. Hey,
Google off. I don't even know how that happened. That

was creepy. Google just went off. Anyways, the Lions fourteen
and two against the Vikings fourteen and two. The Rams
could play right now, that are set by the Commanders.
If they lose, they would either play the loser of
the Vikings and Lions. I would rather play Washington and

experienced Washington team easy, not even close, but more the
Vikings the Lions. I mean, I think we got a
shot out every every team other than the Eagles. To
be honest, we match up with every team other than
the Eagles. It's just going to depend how the Bucks
and kind of how it works out. But yeah, I

mean a lot of implications. Let's get to the Monday
night game now, the Lions taking down the San Francisco
forty nine Ers forty to thirty four. Forty thirty four. Wow,
it looked like for most of the first half the

forty nine Ers had them, had them brought party three
and for throwing for three passing touchdowns and then two
costly interceptions. In this second half, Ricky Pursal going absolutely crazy.
I'm gonna have to draft him next year because he
might be the future. One hundred and forty seven yards
a touchdown, eight receptions, starch Kit all good as normal,

one hundred and twelve yards, eight receptions, Isaac Garrendo nine
carries thirty four roush yards but ninety nine all purpose.
And then the big stat Jake Moody missing both field
goals and an extra point just can't do that. They
lose by six points, and if he makes all of
his field goals, it's forty one forty that's the kicking

is huge. And if you have a guy who's in
his time with the Foreign nine ers has missed a
lot of big kicks, I think it's time for him
for him to get cut. It's a big opportunity for
him to get cut tomorrow or the next day. Because

one day before New Year's Eve, I guess thirty minutes
twenty seven minutes before New Year's Eve. So I wouldn't
I would not be surprised if he gets cut Detroit again.
Buzzin Jamior Gibbs maybe the best RB in the league
in my opinion, when he doesn't have monty one hundred
and sixty three yards, eighteen carries, one hundred and seventeen

rushing yards a touchdown, Jamison Williams finding the end zone
with two twice, La Pattie end zone once, Almonroe end
zone once. But man, if you pick any player on
the lines, they're gonna have a day at some point.
And me, I'm looking to pick Gibbs next year in
fantasy because he is going to be boom unless he
gets injured, guaranteed, even if Monty's taking careries, he's a boom.

But again, Jameson Williams also a sneaky pick this year,
so if you got him, you're happy with that. But yeah,
that was the football recap. The Saturday games, the Browns
and Ravens, Bengals and Steelers, and not really any kind
of important games to look for other than the Vikings

lines on Sunday Night Football, the last one of the
regular season, and that's a funnel one at six point twenty.
A lot of these games don't really matter too much,
like as much as you know they would like. But
right now, looking at the draft order, after the Giants win,

they lose control of their first overall pick. That very
weird and the Patriots have the first overall pick. As
if it was stand right now, they would love that.
They already have drink may But that's the question remains.
Travis Hunter. Does he get picked to play a corner?

To play a corner on this football team, but they
need offensive web so there's a literal chance that could happen.
I'm wearing my Colorado sweater right now. I should be
wearing my Ram shirt, but this is just what I
ended up wearing. And yeah, yeah, I mean that's really
all you gotta say about that. The Browns bad, They're

in that mix as well. So the draft order looks
interesting for next year. It's gonna be fun in the
off season to talk about that in some more depth.
The hope I can find someone to talk about it
with because it's gonna be fun. But yeah, there's some
interesting games that the Broncos win there in if they
don't and the Dolphins win there, and the Dolphins and

Broncos loosen, the Bengals win there, and so yeah, Carson
Wentz maybe can get the job done again. I guess
we'll see. He did it for the Rams last year.
It's a possibility. I guess we'll never know, Brian Carson wentz,

been insane and the Golden And has not been great
as usual. But again you can't blow leads against the Ducks,

It's just how it is and the others playing. You
probably listened to this before they play Utah tomorrow, which

big win in that, and then they have their next
game on Friday against the Ducks, again at home. So
when those two get back and the wind call them
the Kings have two points above you, they would love
that win. The Knights are really carrying away with this,
so it'd be good for the Oilers to find a

way to get that back. But other than that, the
Oilers Jeff Skinner, he hasn't found his role, which is weird.
I guess that's why they got him, got his contract,
and he just hasn't found his way with the team.
It's kind of like Connor Brown did. The Weather's getting

Himan with his five point five million dollar contract. He
is heating. He's been heat, been hot, scoring tons of goals,
so that's something to keep out for. He's been money.
Boush has still been Bousche, making bad decisions in his
own zone. But other than that, I mean Arbitson's back again.

When I released that clip on Arbitson beat on the
power play, he wasn't. But then Nude had a crazy game,
so of course that happens to me. I still like
Arvidson there, but yeah, that's kind of my oilers, little shamble.
I'm we'll get We'll touch on the World Juniors here
because I'm kind of pushing thirty minutes and right now

when I when I want to hate interview, all going out,
but here thirty minutes. Canada losing the Latvia in the
World Juniors fifty to twenty. What Yeah, they got a
goalie the shots from fifteen to twenty. They lost three

to two in a shootout, not swin once in the
shootout on eight shooters. That's wild, kinda couldn't score, but
they ended up winning two back to back. They beat
Germany three nothing, and then they also beat Philin four nothing.
When Filin beat the US they play the US one.

thirty first Tuesday New Year's Eve, have five thirty big
game the United It's just lost to Finland. So both
teams kind of interesting losses. Let's see how they can
you can take it doesn't matter in terms of it

kind of matters during lacing. But ride the big game
will be, will come. So that's all I gotta say
to that. Let's kind of get to our two segments

football games. Oh yeah, I totally missed the Christmas games,

these down, but yeah, George Pickens, he was crushing on.
The Chiefs beat the Steelers twenty nine to ten on
Christmas not great, and the Ravens beat the Texans thirty
one to two on the most boring game ever. I mean,

these were just both born Christmas games and Mahomes was cooking,
Lamar was cooking, and the Texans couldn't figure it out.
CJ Shroud scoffling saying this could be the worst game
he's ever played. And the Steelers, Scoffling on a huge
losing streak, ended up being ten and six. And that's

all I gotta say about the Steelers and the text
line for today, if you want to text in seventy
two five six, please text in something for me to
talk about. Then my hot take, my final hot take
of the night before we wrap this one up, my

hot take for the day. This is this one's gonna
be wild. I know it may not sound. The Detroit
Lions are first round exits. You heard it here, their
first round exits. Why I think that their defense? Bang goun,

You're gonna play one of these fiery offenses. Play the
Rams fiery offense. After beating them twice in big games,
the Rams are going to be back at home. Possibly
actually would have to be at home. I want the Ram.
I want the lines at home every day. I think
we got it. The lines of first round exits. You
