You Are the Lighthouse: Finding Belonging Through Authenticity

“If you want to attract an authentic tribe you have to be willing to take the risk of showing up in the truth of who you are.”  In my youth, as a new immigrant in New York City, I believed that belonging meant fitting in. I did everything I could to fit into this new and unfamiliar world. In doing so - I erased myself.  That was never true belonging.  Today I strive for true belonging. True belonging can only begin once you shed your artifice and stand in the truth of who you are.
