For years, I’ve been hearing that some of our larger coastal cities were sinking. This isn’t something that’s going to happen in my lifetime. But because of global warming and the sea level rising, cities like Miami, New Orleans, and San Francisco are in danger in the years ahead. But the other day, I read a story that shocked me. And from what I’ve read, it’s shocking the experts too. Researchers found that even though it’s on a lake and even though it’s relatively inland, Chicago is slowly sinking.
