Dre's journey from a small-town kid raised in a low-income community in Sanford, NC, to a business leader spearheading a digital marketing team is nothing short of inspiring.
Raised by his loving grandmother, Dre's entrepreneurial spirit was sparked early on by his business classes. This spark led him to Saint Augustine’s University, where he studied business administration while juggling part-time jobs at Best Buy, G4S, and Xerox. Nights spent devouring business and self-development books past midnight only solidified his passion for entrepreneurship.
Upon graduating, Dre discovered an article predicting the immense potential of the digital marketing industry. Intrigued and inspired, he pursued a Digital Marketing Master’s Degree from Concordia College NY. Despite facing over 100 job rejections, Dre's spirit remained persistent to get into his marketing career.
In 2018, an opportunity to create a website for a local church paved the way for the birth of his first venture, dba marketing pros. Simultaneously, an internship at Healthgrades equipped Dre with valuable digital marketing certifications and skills that led to multiple job offers.
Accepting the highest offer, Dre found himself managing multi-million dollar advertising budgets for a global healthcare company. Despite the luxury hotels and fine dining, Dre realized this lifestyle did not align with his inner values or spiritual purpose. He yearned for more time with his family, a healthier lifestyle, and a work culture that reflected his identity.
In 2021, at the age of 26, Dre took a leap of faith, dedicating his full time and energy to his digital marketing agency. His mission was clear: implement the latest brand and marketing strategies that helps businesses keep a competitive edge, increase client acquisition and extends customer lifetime value.
