Speaker 3 (22:27):
Now where are they gonna be able to find it?
It's gonna be in theaters, it's gonna be online where

but on cheap like a two be Okay, I'll give
you guy as soon as they let us know exactly
which platform it is gonna be released on.
Speaker 5 (22:41):
I'm running out two months or so.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
Okay, So you're playing the landlord, miss Tinas. You out
here evicting people, then, yes, sir, I'm a cougar evicting people.
Oh my god, today you're a cougar girl. I'm a
cougar too, but you are cook. You playing at cougar.
So I guess people are doing something to to stay
in their house or what to stay in the apartment.
Speaker 5 (23:03):
Yeah, I'm just horrible as a landlord produce for my
little tenants that I'm attractive to.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
Oh my godday you got all men tenants, the women
coming to party?
Speaker 2 (23:18):

Already the young ones.
Speaker 3 (23:27):

and spill some of this tea. So you're ready to
spill some tea with a system I am.
Speaker 5 (23:35):

Speaker 14 (25:28):
Huh?
Speaker 3 (25:32):
All right? So, Gail King it is supposed to be
going to space as part of a female space crew.
That's right. Journalists and TV host Gail King is joining
an all female crew going to space. So CBS just
announcedis on Thursday. So she's going with Jeff Bezos' company,
(25:55):
it's called the Blue Origin. He's going to be sending them.
So the crew is going to have Katie, civil rights activists,
a man in Nagon, I guess that's how you say
her name, NASA aerospace engineer Ai Shabou, film producer Carrie
Ann Flynn, and philanthropists Laurence Sanchez, who is also engaged
(26:16):
to Jeff Basos. So, this is the eleventh human flight
for Blue Origins New Shepherd rocket and it has flown
fifty two people so far. They started doing this in
twenty twelve, so a few other people that have flown on,
Michael Strahan, William Shatner, and Jeff Bezos himself. So Gail
decided to do it when her Bessie Oprah said that
(26:39):
this was an opportunity that was too big to pass up.
So what's your thoughts on this?
Speaker 5 (26:45):
I think being Oprah's best friend has paid off. Girl.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
Okay, okay, you gotta pick your best friends correctly. Now
she did, well, yeah she did.
Speaker 5 (26:57):
I think it's exciting that these whipmen, I mean, you
said have to be an astronaut or go to school
for this type of thing exactly, and now so many
people are getting to experience out Earth from a different perspective,
especially a black or black woman. I think it's exciting.
I hope she I hope it's a successful ride. I
hope they make it back. Yes, but it's gonna be great,
Katy Perry, all these different women of color. What a
(27:20):
what an adventure? I think it's great. Would you go? Now?
I'm gonna stay here and watch them down here.
Speaker 3 (27:26):
I know that's right. I'm cool coming back. I'm cool.
I can watch the stars right from here. Y'all take
some good pictures please. I like, I like the land
right here.
Speaker 5 (27:43):
Yeah, yes, even Bryan, I'm like, I'm good right here
today thirty thousand feet so I can't imagine on way
higher than that.
Speaker 3 (27:50):
Yes, Bishop Banks got in the chat. Oprah was like,
you should go, but I ain't gone.
Speaker 5 (27:57):
That's a good pray.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
You should go down, you should go. Yeah, yeah, that's
her purpose. Push.
Speaker 5 (28:01):
I'm just Siam, she ain't going with us.
Speaker 3 (28:07):
Okay, I'm cool, all right. So asap Rally is still
suing asap Rocky in a civil case. So last week,
I think it was last week, we were reported that
asap Rocky was found not guilty in his criminal trials.
So Asaprelly is still moving forward with a civil case
(28:27):
of assault and battery. So on Wednesday, a judge set
the case to begin on January of next year for
the first trial date for the civil lawsuit. So the
next hearing is going to be on May twenty eighth.
So we know asap Rocky was just acquitted in two
felony counts of assault with a semi automatic firearm on
(28:49):
February twenty eighth, after being charged for firing at Asaprelly,
who is a former Asap Mob associate. This happened in
twenty twenty one. Asap Rocky was rested in twenty twenty two.
So asap Rocky's lawyer said that it was a prop
gun and he was carrying it around for safety. Who
(29:11):
is to run around here with prop guns? I don't know,
but you you you got a prop gun, girl.
Speaker 5 (29:16):
Girl, I want no prop gun.
Speaker 3 (29:17):
You ain't got no prop gun with all you got
your Pepper's friend.
Speaker 5 (29:20):
First of all, you're about to hit a prop behind
whoop it. Stop playing with people prop you can a
pop gun. I part a real gun.
Speaker 3 (29:28):
That's crazy.
Speaker 5 (29:30):
If there was a prop gun, which they said it was,
this is his friend. They call him a sap telly.
Now you know what I mean telling a lot a lot.
Speaker 3 (29:38):
Well, well, you know the word on the curve is
he asks him for thirty million. So and he was like, yo,
I ain't gonna do this civil case. If you give
me thirty mili, say out a little like Cassy, thirty mili.
Will you get that number from thirty million?
Speaker 5 (29:50):
That's extortion. First of all, even if docturing your hand
with a prop gun, it's not worth thirty million dollars.
He didn't blow his hand off. Still, yeah, his friend,
that's a bad part. These were friends. I trusted you.
I count on you to be my boy. In the meanwhile,
you person stabbing him in the bag. It's horrible.
Speaker 3 (30:10):
You gotta pick your friends, right, you got notes from games.
Speaker 5 (30:18):
He'll be fine.
Speaker 3 (30:19):
Yeah, we'll see. I don't know. Sometimes may be winning
those civil cases. They lose the criminal, but they win
the civil.
Speaker 5 (30:26):
Right because money, Yeah, money talks.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
We'll see. I don't know, because you know, Rihanna got
some good lawyers for him. She want her baby daddy free.
Speaker 5 (30:35):
So okay, got out hearing the dancing?
Speaker 3 (30:41):
Yeah not what you who?
Speaker 23 (30:42):
You know?
Speaker 3 (30:43):
You know Rihanna? Okay, a billionaire. Well, the Oscars are
coming on tonight, so this is Yeah, this is the
ninety seventh Annual Academy Awards. They're coming on early too.
They come on at seven pm. It's gonna be from
seven pm to ten. So this is the second year
(31:03):
that they're having it early. They said they want people
to be able to watch everything and not have to
go to bed. So the red carpet is starting to
six work. Yeah, having it on till eleven sometime eleven
thirty mm hmm. So they like they want people to
watch the whole thing, so they starting them early because
when I saw seven, I was like seven. But they
did that last year too, So they're gonna air live
(31:25):
from the Adobe Theater in Hollywood's coming on on ABC.
Some people to watch for. The nominees that look like
us are Cynthia Arrivo for Wicked, Coleman's Domingo for Sing Sing,
Zoe Saldania for Amelia Perez Ariana Grande for Wicked. So
the Oscars were originally scheduled for January seventeenth, they got
(31:49):
postponed due to the wildfires. So you're gonna be watching
them today.
Speaker 5 (31:53):
Absolutely. I just like to watch the clothes, how they
dress or lack of dress nowadays girl invisible clothes. You
can see him.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
Okay, yes, that's my favorite part to that red carpet,
See what the styles, all who wearing what, Because you know,
we don't have a lot of nominees, so it's like
you gotta watch for other stuff. The Shenan against rightfully, yeah, yeah,
and the shenan agains, you know, like the you know,
the slap, you know, stuff like that is.
Speaker 5 (32:24):
Gonna be really funny. He's hilarious any other time, so
I can't imagine tonight really.
Speaker 3 (32:28):
Good on their Yeah, I think it's gonna be good.
So yeah, I'll be watching. Amen, you better speakl you
better speak it into existence, and somebody come on now,
come on, girl, all right, girl, all right. Our last
story is about model and actress Carucci trans dating former
(32:50):
NFL and MLB star Dion Sanders. So, girl that was
out on a date recently holding hands he's fifty, said,
I know how to pick them. He knows how to
pick them.
Speaker 5 (33:03):
That's right, young and beautiful.
Speaker 3 (33:05):
Ain't no fool?
Speaker 5 (33:06):
That girl is beautiful.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
Yeah, no fool, she said, Get Chris Brown and his foolery. Okay,
I'm getting me an old man.
Speaker 5 (33:13):
He don't want to write to have a young boy. Yes,
everybody's making a big deal, but she's not a spriend
chicken career. She's about to be forty herself. I mean
at the end of the Day's not like he's picking
up a twenty one year old child. No, she's a
grown woman and have some life experiences. She grown. She grown, right,
he's gown grown, baby grown.
Speaker 3 (33:32):
She's grown grown. She's sly six and he's fifty seven.
I mean, it is a twenty one year age difference, right.
Speaker 5 (33:41):
But women like maturer men. I mean, at the end
of the day, we get tied up those boys. Yes,
you know, he's just not a he's just a doggy
dog who asked that you met him through his Expia girl.
Speaker 3 (33:56):
She was working with her on one of the shows.
She was the producer. Now that's a little bit dirty.
That's just a little bit like behold you die, girl,
by how you acting on this said, I hired you.
Now you got my man. You got to watch your
man around. He can't come to the set. I'm sorry
(34:17):
all these.
Speaker 5 (34:19):
It's it's sad, but you can't have hobbies around your husband.
Your fiances.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
No, you can't even you can't even hire them. Just
don't hire nobody that you think might want to get
with your man. She was like, oh no, she's a baby.
Speaker 5 (34:34):
She's these men be looking at the baby, looking at
Maria Sharp and the man got for her man and.
Speaker 3 (34:42):
She can't be English girl. She and she was with
Schwarzenegg and I don't play.
Speaker 5 (34:48):
Everything turned out alright.
Speaker 12 (34:49):
Shed had a baby.
Speaker 3 (34:50):
The baby was a teenager when we found out they
was messing around it. Say, wait a minute, he don't
look like uh whatever, whoever he looked.
Speaker 5 (35:00):
It's gonna be all right. The money, he's still successful,
he's still good looking. You don't, right, Yes, yes, just don't.
She's just better not fall in love.
Speaker 3 (35:10):
With him, you know.
Speaker 5 (35:11):
Apparently he's not dedicated to the leader.
Speaker 3 (35:13):
But you know, the thing is, he dated Tracy for
twelve years and he didn't marry her, and she's stuck
by his side when he was sick, he had all
those surgeries. I don't understand why he didn't marry her.
Speaker 5 (35:27):
We give up so much aboutselves loving these men, and
then what happened. They trade us in for a.
Speaker 3 (35:31):
New model, nobody twenty one years though I don't know.
I don't want nobody twenty one years younger than me.
Are twenty one years older. Like you can't be my
daddy or my son. I'm trying to tell you, like
I was e young, but you can't.
Speaker 5 (35:46):
Be my maidan dog on it. I don't want to
be a siga mamma, and I sure her don't want
to be a sugar baby.
Speaker 3 (35:51):
No, that's just a little bit too creepy for me.
Speaker 5 (35:55):
Well that's when me, because you're in the thirties and fifties.
But if she was fifty and he's like, she's like
forty and he was like, you'd be like, oh, disgusting.
Speaker 3 (36:02):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (36:03):
Twenty years he still looks good.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
He yes, he does. He does look good. He's definitely datable. Yes, so.
Speaker 5 (36:11):
Shape, he works out, he's healthy.
Speaker 3 (36:13):
Yes, yes, got all his teeth.
Speaker 14 (36:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (36:16):
Well we think, we think, well, you know, they could
be in plans.
Speaker 3 (36:20):
We'll count it, we'll count.
Speaker 5 (36:22):
But they pay for that's right.
Speaker 3 (36:24):
He got no Miss Society for nothing.
Speaker 24 (36:26):
So he he good.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Well, we gonna keep watching that. So tell us what
you got going on. I knew you were part of
the Black Women in Comedy laugh Fest.
Speaker 5 (36:36):
Yeah, so I've been doing that this whole weekend. It's
been a Black Women in Comedy laugh Fest in New
York from March twenty I'm sorry, February twenty seventh through
March first. They've had over sixty seventy women from all
over the country come to New York this weekend and
performing all these different venues. They have been hilarious. Girl,
The outpour has been amazing. We've had so much support.
(36:57):
I want to think Joanna Briley were putting this together
and making it happen for all of us black.
Speaker 3 (37:03):
Women giving.
Speaker 22 (37:05):
Seen.
Speaker 5 (37:06):
Thank you again all the people who came out, Oh
my god, they've been so supportive, friends and family and
just you know, fans of the of the comedy world.
Speaker 25 (37:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (37:15):
Great, yes, shout out to her. She's been doing this
several years now. I was in it a few years
ago annual.
Speaker 5 (37:22):
So come out next year, guys. Yeah, right, when Comedy Festival.
We need you guys.
Speaker 3 (37:27):
Yes, but you know, I feel like it's earlier this
year because when I was in there, it was in
the summer.
Speaker 5 (37:33):
Oh yeah, okay.
Speaker 3 (37:35):
I just found it Worts at my tape and they
were like, come on, go all right, well go ahead
and give everybody your social media information, your website if
you have one, so that they can keep in touch
with you. Well, you can find me on Facebook and
Instagram as suremel Coleman, Boss Lady. It's s h E

truly enjoyed cutting up with you.
Speaker 5 (38:26):
Appreciate you having me here. It has been such a blessing.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
Of course we got to do some more work together.
Speaker 5 (38:36):

History Month. All month we're playing music from all the ladies.
So this next one is by Lanelle Grant. It's a
new one. It's called Barmageddon. I love that name. So
don't go anywhere, y'all. Keep it light right here to
the Me and miss Jones show with me doctor missus Jones. Yeah,
(39:11):
you know what I'm saying. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 13 (39:13):
Just a few beets in the bars, feeling. I'm still
pulling beat up off that hard drive. Can't let them
pass me by. I'm on that far side and I
used to swear by my water side, but that I
fish for fishes where the water's high and it's clearer
than any cup of their belt butt here these mops, horners,
the sin, this ice bag infleshment here of course he
(39:35):
still tight under bonnets and four sea man's too, still
make a bet that you do your fight. They let
dance too, Still got that twinkled in my eye and
my man's tool still slack demon if they try and
might plan too, or look.
Speaker 26 (39:46):
If they book, can we plan to or bofing?
Speaker 13 (39:49):
We tough with our hands glued face the floor in
the sea. We got legs like centerpiece face the palm,
empty meat because the body under seat pull us from
the like Corey pull the briskets, centerpiece pu from the pit,
like when he snatched the keys, Prince of Peace. They
don't feel me, though, but theyre the ones I feel
the most. They're the ones they're clicking posts. They're the
ones I'm keeping close to my pen. Will I pass
the test of maturity?
Speaker 4 (40:10):
It depends. Will I cup some mess on some fool
the ring with my ends?
Speaker 13 (40:14):
No, because I'm grown now and I know to check
their interest on them loans now, and I know I
cannot do this on my own now, And I know.
Speaker 2 (40:22):
It's by the spirit that I'm known now.
Speaker 26 (40:24):
I've been in the mirror, taking inventory face to face.
Speaker 13 (40:27):
I don't switch the game, but never dropped the ball
and kept.
Speaker 5 (40:29):
The face and then gave him brewery even when.
Speaker 26 (40:31):
My feet were stuck in place and back against the wall.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
But hey, yo, no, she sounds like, what's his face?
Speaker 14 (40:35):
I do?
Speaker 2 (40:36):
And I thought, but either way you make.
Speaker 13 (40:37):
No never mind.
Speaker 7 (40:38):
So but my thought.
Speaker 26 (40:39):
So either way my flow forever wine Belt or bel
or Bill or Marvin save it ain't no better line,
Ryland night, Then keep your cheesecake. I got center bonds,
I said with my toe, because it's pricy when I
do these boss talk them just a little sou we
what date the flow under the deck that was paid?
Speaker 2 (40:54):
I think you're missing it.
Speaker 4 (40:55):
This ain't no performance.
Speaker 2 (40:56):
This is Russell with the giffy give.
Speaker 13 (40:58):
I know what They call me, buddy free of a
keettic kids. They can call me spawling because I got
football like Jason.
Speaker 2 (41:03):
Kids.
Speaker 13 (41:04):
They can call me rawlings because I'm pictures but I
keep the wrists. They can call me Wilson. Ain't no pick.
Speaker 4 (41:08):
I couldn't handle slag.
Speaker 3 (41:10):
I'm just playing in my position. Keep with decent brushes.
Speaker 13 (41:13):
I'm just claiming that not my kitchen this is pulling.
Oh I'm just trying to give a nipping. But ain't
it hard to eat when everything just looking filthy?
Speaker 3 (41:39):
That was fire Barmageddon by Lanell Grant. I just found her.
I'm like, okay, I'm gonna have to start, you know,
playing some more of her stuff. All right, it is
time to bring on the Man of God. Before I
bring him on, let me just remind everybody in the
(42:00):
clubhouse if they have a prayer request, they can go
ahead and put it in the chat and we will
have the Man of God pray for you.
Speaker 5 (42:11):
All right.
Speaker 3 (42:12):
So my next guest is a minister. I want y'all
to show a lot of love to Minister Jason Crawford.
Speaker 22 (42:21):
Hey, how's it going.
Speaker 3 (42:23):
I am wonderful. How are you today?
Speaker 27 (42:26):
I'm very good.
Speaker 5 (42:27):
I'm good.
Speaker 3 (42:28):
Happy Women's History Month. Say to you, go ahead and
shout out a special woman in your life, my mother. Yes,
you better tell you better shout your mom out. She'll
be she'll be calling you. Why you ain't shouting me out?
Speaker 14 (42:48):
Oh?
Speaker 28 (42:48):
This this is this, This is a heavenly shout out.
This is responsible for a lot of stuff I've done.
Speaker 3 (42:54):
Oh that's so sweet. I'm so sorry. To hear that though,
So I okay, I always like to let everybody know
where I meet my guests, so we met online on
social media. So I love everything that you're doing with that,
and I invited you on the show. So thank you
for accepting my invitation.
Speaker 27 (43:13):
I appreciate the invitation.
Speaker 3 (43:16):
So you are a triplet, I am? Yeah, you know,
I always thought I wanted twins. I was like, you know,
that'd be kind of fun.
Speaker 14 (43:24):
You know.
Speaker 5 (43:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (43:25):
I don't have any kids, though, but I always thought, maybe,
you know, I have some twins. So what is it
like to be a triplet?
Speaker 27 (43:32):
It's literally like being a bug celebrity.
Speaker 28 (43:36):
Okay, all the attention in the world, especially when people
see you, but it doesn't come with a check. Well yeah,
and then you know, people don't believe it when they
see it. Actually, one of the dumbest moments of.
Speaker 27 (43:52):
My life happened because I was a triplet.
Speaker 28 (43:55):
Okay, and what was that This lady looked at all
three of us, she screamed, and she said, oh my god,
are y'all three twins? And he was like, no, ma'am,
we're not twins. And she said okay, because I was
about to say and then she walked off today. It's
(44:16):
kind of shocking.
Speaker 3 (44:18):
Mm mmmm. So tell me a little bit about your
journey to ministering.
Speaker 27 (44:24):
It fits roller coaster.
Speaker 28 (44:27):
It's something I've never wanted to do, and I think
that's what drew me closer to it. I'm kind of
wary of people that have a strong desire to do
this because it becomes more of a performance.
Speaker 5 (44:41):
In that case.
Speaker 28 (44:42):
Okay, but I always say like this, it's a lot
easier to walk in the thing you've been running from.
And ever since I made the choice to walk into it,
it's just been ups and downs, hills and valleys. But
I wouldn't change it. I wouldn't change it, Okay.
Speaker 3 (45:03):
So I want you to do the words of inspiration.
So I always like to make sure that people can
get some word for the week because a lot of
times people have not gone back into the church building
since the pandemic. They got used to being home watching
it on TV, listen to it on the radio. So
I like to make sure people got that nugget, some
word for the week. So what has God put on
(45:23):
your heart for the people today?
Speaker 28 (45:26):
For sure, I kind of I can make it to
women for this woman. Yeah, the situation you familiar to story.
I'm sure everybody is with the woman with the issue
of blood.
Speaker 3 (45:40):
Oh yeah, do you happen to.
Speaker 22 (45:43):
Know her name?
Speaker 3 (45:44):
I do not know her name.
Speaker 27 (45:46):
Her name is the woman with the issue of blood
categorized with her name.
Speaker 28 (45:50):
Okay, she was only categorized by her issue and for
twelve years that's how they knew her.
Speaker 5 (45:59):
But that never stopped her.
Speaker 28 (46:00):
So it's many things you can say about this woman,
but she did not allow her current situation to paralyze
her next steps.
Speaker 3 (46:07):
Yes, So in this world that we.
Speaker 27 (46:09):
Live in in I just want to encourage women that
you are not what you've been through, but they are
a product of what you've been through.
Speaker 28 (46:17):
And you can't allow what you've been through to discourage
your story because don't let nobody tell you that your
story is not monetary, meaning there's money behind what you've
been through. You just can't be ashamed about it.
Speaker 27 (46:32):
And that's my encouraging word, real quick quick.
Speaker 28 (46:36):
God honors all the things you do, and what you
see his opposition is always God's opportunity.
Speaker 3 (46:43):
Amen. Amen, Thank you so much for that encouraging word.
All right, So just a reminder, people in the clubhouse
get your prayer requests in the Man of God is
about to pray. I do have a lot of prayer requests.
So many things have happened this week. So my friend
and she's part of the crew, Carleen, her play aunt,
(47:05):
passed away, so she's traveling right now to go down
to the funeral. Also, Lance, my friend Lance, his brother
in law just had a stroke, so he they're talking
about putting him in hospice. And you know when they
put you in hospice, they are basically expecting to end.
So we just want God to move in that situation.
(47:26):
We have had a lot of desks this week. We
have had roberta Flag pass away on Monday. She was
eighty eight years old. We also had soul and disco
singer Gwyn McCrae passed away this week. She was eighty
one years old. She was known for the so On
rock and Chair. We also had rap A Tiger's mom
(47:46):
pass away. Her name is Pashiana, Pasciana and Nagoon, I
think that's how you say her name. She passed away.
She was only fifty three years old. That is so young.
And then we had Jeane Hackman, his wife and dog
die and they found him. They had been dead for days.
The neighbor did a welfare check. I guess she hadn't
(48:09):
seen them or whatever, and they more found dead. You know,
it's very suspicious. We're not really sure what happened to them.
Grammy nominated singer Angie Stone passed away yesterday. She was
only sixty three years old. She was in a car crash.
She was on her way home from a performance in Alabama. Then,
(48:30):
of course I want you to pray for these plane crashes.
More planes have crashed this week. It's just ridiculous. It's
almost like every day, every other day. And of course
I want you to pray for the show that me
and Miss Jones show the listeners. All right, let me
look in the chat. No prayer requests in the chat
and anything else that God has put on your heart
(48:52):
to pray about.
Speaker 27 (48:57):
Before I pray, I do want to can gratulate you
on your doctory.
Speaker 3 (49:02):
Thank you so much. I appreciate it.
Speaker 28 (49:05):
Yeah, that's not an easy feat and that's that's worth celebrating.
I will say this also because I lost a lot
of love was in the past two weeks as well.
Speaker 3 (49:17):
Wow, And.
Speaker 28 (49:20):
One of the things I'm really pray for in the moment,
is that there's a peace that passes all understandment that
comes with your relationship with God in the midst of
troubling times. I'm praying that people look to you for
strift because you do not show what they You're not
(49:43):
reacting the way they expect you to react. I got
a couple of flights and in the midst of crashing,
I didn't have a lot of fear on the plane
because they literally people asking me, right, you're not nervous,
and I'm saying no, because I really believe God.
Speaker 27 (49:59):
Has me doing up there.
Speaker 28 (50:01):
So in the midst of all his fear, if he
just find a purpose and trust him, that fear diminishes.
Speaker 27 (50:08):
So I pray for the grief of all the ones
that I've lost, loved ones.
Speaker 28 (50:12):
Yes, I pray that your love God overshadows them, that
in the midst of their pain, that you make your
presence known to them, and that they cling towards you
are not away from me.
Speaker 5 (50:27):
I pray for.
Speaker 28 (50:30):
Doctor miss Jones, show that it continues to grow, it
continues to just exceed expectations.
Speaker 5 (50:38):
I pray for.
Speaker 28 (50:42):
Low self esteem in the midst of what's going on
and how people try to define.
Speaker 27 (50:48):
What women are and diminish who women have always been.
Speaker 28 (50:53):
I just pray that the self awareness just keeps growing
and the boldness just overshadows them as well.
Speaker 27 (51:02):
I pray for the gentleman that had a stroke.
Speaker 5 (51:08):
In the midst of my.
Speaker 28 (51:08):
Prayer, I want to practify that my father had a
massive stroke and he's still here today and parts of
his brain medically proves that he shouldn't be talking, but
he still preaches to this day. So in the midst
of everything looking like it's wrong again, opposition is always
God's opportunity, and it's only impossible until it happens. And
(51:33):
God creates and does his best. When stuff has never
happened before, that does not mean God can do it.
So I pray all those things in Jesus' name, Omen.
Speaker 3 (51:45):
In Jesus' name. Amen, thank you so much for that prayer.
All right, So moving on changing courses a little bit.
You are also a musician, So what do you play?
Speaker 27 (51:57):
I played keyboard and organ also produced music.
Speaker 3 (52:02):
Okay, look at you. Do we know any of the
people that you've produced or made music for.
Speaker 27 (52:08):
I have not put music out yet.
Speaker 28 (52:12):
I'm really a perfect perfectionist on that that God has
opened the door for that, because this time last year
I only had twelve thousand followers.
Speaker 27 (52:23):
Now I'm almost at five hundred k.
Speaker 5 (52:25):
So so yeah, it's a timing thing.
Speaker 28 (52:31):
I'm trying to figure this thing iver got. But I've
played for a lot of gospel singers, gospel artists usually
all the time, especially when they come to Chicago.
Speaker 3 (52:41):
Now, how did you get your following up so much?
I know you do a lot of content videos and
act things out and stuff, and I'm gonna play one
of them in a second, But is that how you
got it up?
Speaker 27 (52:54):
So all two things. I'm actually writing a book on this.
Speaker 22 (53:00):
How to.
Speaker 28 (53:02):
Know the difference between followers and supporters, But all of
it is, it's two things. The first one is I'm
gonna do a spiritual one and practical one. A spiritual
one is basically consistency. Anything you're consistent that you will
grow at no matter what.
Speaker 27 (53:21):
The practical thing is.
Speaker 28 (53:23):
It's two The first three seconds of everything you put
out is the most important. And audio quality is more
important than video quality when it comes to short form content, okay.
And thirdly, when you put out something that's relatable, that
always generates a follower.
Speaker 3 (53:44):
I like how you said the first three seconds is
important because you're not find that. People have a short
attention span. They'll watch it real quick and if you
don't catch a boom like that, they gonna keep it moving.

Yeah, I'll give a special shout out to my BA
baby sister, Tianna. She's she's a few hours, maybe even
a few days away from having her third daughter, So
congratulations to her.
Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
Oh that's nice.
Speaker 3 (01:05:11):
So I always like to tell everybody where I meet
my guest. So I believe I met you on Facebook
originally and then we finally met in person last year
at Crystal Banks birthday party I hosted and you DJ.
Speaker 24 (01:05:26):
Yeah that was a good event too.
Speaker 3 (01:05:28):
Yes, yes, we had a good time. And since then
we have done lots of shows together. We started in
a TV show together. We've just been doing I thank
for a whole year. So it's been like, yeah, like exactly,
maybe like a year and a month or something like that,
because her birthday's in January. Okay, yeah, so yes, so
(01:05:52):
you are most talented. So, like I said, you DJ,
you are a musical artist. So which one happened first?
Speaker 5 (01:06:00):
Were you?
Speaker 3 (01:06:00):
Were you rapping and singing first or DJ and first?
Speaker 14 (01:06:04):
I was?
Speaker 24 (01:06:04):
I was I was rapping first. My uncle Troy also
known as Tricky Tea, back in the late eighties, he
really really introduced me to to the to the format
of writing music. I used to I used to write
songs with him. And I think when I that was,
that was in fifth grade, I was about ten, ten
years old. And then when I was thirteen, for Christmas,
(01:06:26):
my father bought me some turntables. So it just kind
of went hand in hand. You get the turntable, you
start playing some instrumentals, and you just start rapping writing
your songs. So but the but the artistry of music
composing came first.
Speaker 3 (01:06:41):
Wow, that is so young. I love it when kids,
you know, they start young, they find their way young,
and they have a passionate you know early. So that's beautiful.
Speaker 24 (01:06:52):
So, yeah, that's great. My mom and dad were both
heavy into music. So my father he loved all kinds
of music too, you know, West Coast rap music, jazz
as you know. My mother was a Motown disco, old
school hip hop. So we had a lot of genres
in the music playlist.
Speaker 3 (01:07:07):
Okay, and so I love it that your lyrics are
known for social justice. You have songs like Black Father
and Hope. You know, it's not just a bunch of
one now it's like, oh, let's go to the club,
let's drink, but you know you have something to say.
Speaker 24 (01:07:22):
Yeah, absolutely, you know I always looked at the music industry,
like like food industry, Like it's it's better when there's
a variety that you was from. But unfortunately, you'll see
more McDonald's and you'll see any healthy restaurants. Yeah, you
gotta kind of look for it if you if you
want to hear it. But yes, it's definitely there.
Speaker 3 (01:07:42):
Yes, I love it. So let's talk about your new single, Superstar,
which is so appropriate for women's y, So tell us
about that.
Speaker 24 (01:07:55):
So, yeah, Superstar was produced by my brother Homi G
for Peace Skill. He reached out to me a couple
of years ago, and you know, we've we've worked together
since we were in high school. We just never did
a project together. So uh, he reached out to be saying,
you know, it's time that we do something together. And
(01:08:15):
we actually completed four projects for four projects, so we
we have this series of of of EPs coming out
called uh. The theme is inspired and the ultimate ideas
to inspire to change the world. So one of the
beasts that he sent me, I heard the beat, fell
in love with it, and I created a song called Superstar,
and I just thought it was necessary after seeing you know,
(01:08:38):
you see a lot of stuff on on the news
on TV, on YouTube, and you hear a lot of things,
you read a lot of things, and sometimes inspiration comes
from just paying attention to what's going on around you
and listening to the music that's out there now, and
you know how the women are being portrayed and even
how the men perceive women. Now, I just kind of
felt like this was a necessary, necessary song. Plus on
(01:09:00):
top of that, I have three beautiful daughters, so I
want them to hear my music one day and say
he was on the right path.
Speaker 3 (01:09:06):
I love it all right, so let's go ahead and
play it. Superstar by Noodle New Don't go anywhere, y'all
go like right here to the Me and Miss Jones
show with Me Doctor Miss Jones and Noodle New.

Speaker 24 (01:09:47):
Alijah, the women in stead, he's dealing with me. Every
time you gave you roller ended up in games.
Speaker 2 (01:09:55):

Speaker 24 (01:09:57):
Same, even if it's not your folk. We see the change,
but I want your love, so heal yourself. First, look
in the mirror, queen and see yourself work. Yes, is

harder than getting know where to past the daughter without
a dad, a mother that's doing bad. But love get
better than anything that you've been through. All you got
(01:10:21):
to do now is continue.
Speaker 3 (01:10:22):
Yeah. I know they say they want a women with them.
Speaker 24 (01:10:24):

Speaker 2 (01:10:27):

Speaker 24 (01:10:29):

wants a woman with a mind right, nothing fast. We
don't care about the drama life. You want a woman

I understand pink takes a toll on anyone without a plan.

Thank you very much, thank you, thank you very much.
That was my daughter.
Speaker 3 (01:12:15):
You know I was gonna say that Z two Yes, yes, Zanaya.
That's so cute. It's really a catchy song, very catchy. Yeah,
you know, I love some some singable hooks that you
could just remember. And it's like, okay, I'm gonna be
singing that letter out of house, singing it and just
(01:12:39):
a positive message.
Speaker 5 (01:12:40):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (01:12:42):
So you know, I got to have you do some
some some free style, some rapping. So I'm gone and

and brightest could be. I swear that sun shining right
on me. He said, it's time to make a change.
I said, please give me that in my sea, and
I'll make sure that y'all see what I see from
the bottom is pitting the top of the crop or
poverty speaks from the war's overseas to the war in
(01:13:31):
our streets. We got brothers killing brothers over colors with heat,
single mother's raising youngest because the fathers were creaks. The
top of a change, change their whole lifestyle.
Speaker 28 (01:13:39):
Man.
Speaker 24 (01:13:39):
I used to love the range, but the day Katrina
had came, I used to love flying high until I'm
witnessing flames in the buildings. Never thought that I see
so much pain. People worked at ninety fives and they
looked like slaves for minimum waves. It's nothing but the
gas price range some times for thirty days, somehow, some way,
because that was all yesterday. Because today it's a new day, and.
Speaker 3 (01:14:00):
Hey, that's what's up, yo. We got Bishop banks in
the clubhouse. I want to see if he want to
jump on this on this beat right quick? This show
you in the clubhouse. You know you like doing some freestyle.
You want to jump on this beat? Right quick?
Speaker 24 (01:14:19):
Hurt nobody?
Speaker 5 (01:14:20):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (01:14:20):
Oh he got the mic, He got the mic.
Speaker 5 (01:14:24):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (01:14:25):

Speaker 24 (01:14:28):
What's what's up? Hey?
Speaker 2 (01:14:30):
You want to jump on this beat?
Speaker 3 (01:14:32):
It's freestyle Sunday.
Speaker 22 (01:14:34):
Steel right, the only cower of God.
Speaker 24 (01:14:36):
It's the one that's right.
Speaker 27 (01:14:37):
I like to flow and move to his fools right
because he is the ruma makes me right.
Speaker 5 (01:14:42):
I'm free.
Speaker 27 (01:14:43):
I'm three indeed, because Jesu went Chicago re for me.
Speaker 3 (01:14:48):
Hey, it's it's free the house Sunday. That's what's up.
We got anybody else that want to jump on this beat?
Right quick? All right?
Speaker 5 (01:15:03):
That was fun.
Speaker 3 (01:15:04):
That was fun. That was with the bar, Yes, Bishop,
with the bars. They gotta these all these passes out here.
I saw this past that that was let me see
what you call it? With the people they be having
those white gloves on the minds. No no no, no,
no no no. A pop lock and I saw a
pop locking preacher on Instagram. I was like, okay, pop
(01:15:26):
lock and he'd be up, you know on the stage,
pop lock and I said, okay, pop lock and Bishop,
you better break dance. So yes, we got the we
got the wrapping Bishop on the line. But yes, thank
you for you know, I had to get you to,
you know, do a little freestyle for it. You get
(01:15:49):
me all hyped up on a Sunday, all right. So
the next thing, you know that I gotta have you
do is do a little bit of political commentary. Because
you were a mayor. You were the youngest mayor in
peak skill, the youngest African American mayor, I think, just
the youngest mayor overall.
Speaker 24 (01:16:10):
Right, there was actually we found there was two other
mayors in New York that were younger than me. One
was twenty twenty two and one was twenty six. Okay
they beat me, Yeah they beat me.
Speaker 3 (01:16:20):
How old were you when you became mayor?
Speaker 24 (01:16:23):
Thirty one?
Speaker 3 (01:16:24):
Okay? So yes, So do you have any thoughts to
run again for anything else? Because I'm looking like, you know,
Homo is jumping in the race when New York.
Speaker 24 (01:16:34):
Yeah, you know, Rimobo was Cobo was my man when
when I was in office. We had a really really
great relationship.
Speaker 3 (01:16:41):
Yes, I remember seeing her picture with y'all.
Speaker 24 (01:16:44):
Yeah, we had a really great relationship. He he helped me.
He literally helped me save a life. There was a
lady in Peak Skill who had to get a I
believe it was a kidney transplant, and the only person
compatible to her was her sister. Her sister was an
ecuador So we reached out to Clomo's office and he
gave us a temporary pardon for the sister to come
(01:17:08):
to the States specifically for the surgery. So she the
sister was able to make it to New York, did
the surgery, and was able to go back to Ecuador,
and the sister survived to this day. The lady still,
you know, reaches out to me, brings me cookies and stuff. So,
but he literally helped me save my life. So I
you know, I don't never have anything bad or negative
(01:17:30):
to say about Clomo's He's been a great support.
Speaker 3 (01:17:33):
So that's wonderful.
Speaker 24 (01:17:35):
Yeah, as far as far as me, there's some there's
some possibilities.
Speaker 5 (01:17:39):
You know.
Speaker 24 (01:17:40):
I work with an organization called National Parents Organization and
an organization called Fathers are Important, and we're hoping to
get some legislation passed for shared parenting in New York
and uh, we've been We've been pushing for about two
years now. The organization itself has been pushing for about
eleven years, but I've been a little bit more active
in it, like the past two or three years. If
(01:18:01):
we don't see any change for the next year or two,
then you'll you'll you'll more than likely see my name
somewhere out there.
Speaker 3 (01:18:07):
All right, I love it. So speaking of Cuomo, so
he's running again for mayor, Yes, Adams, So what do
you think about that because he's been governor, Like, isn't
that a step down? I mean, what do you think?
Speaker 24 (01:18:21):
Yeah, it's it's it would be considered it would be
considered a step down. But a lot of people are
gonna view it as if he was able to, you know,
run the entire state, then he can definitely definitely put
some work into the city. And you know, voters these
days don't necessarily vote as much on the policy initiatives
(01:18:43):
as they as as I remember, you know, the last
fifteen years. People people now see to vote a little
bit more perception and feelings. You know, if Mayor Adams
said something that makes somebody mad, then I canna vote
for him, you know, regardless of all the initiatives he's
standing for. If you said something that make somebody mad,
they're not going to vote for him. And when I
(01:19:03):
say perception, it's like there's this perception of Mayor Adams
now that he's controversial and he's you know, he's he's
he's doing things he shouldn't be doing as a mayor
and people losing their job. So, you know, the media
has highlighted this stuff, and I think that's going to
make it easier, not only for Cuomo, but it'll make
it easier for anybody who's trying to come in and
take the position.
Speaker 28 (01:19:23):
Right.
Speaker 3 (01:19:24):
Yeah, I think Cuomo might get in because a lot
of the other people are like, who are you? And
you know, they know Cuomo. We got a whole bridge
all ride overalls call my tap hand z.
Speaker 23 (01:19:36):
Yeah yeah, And I.
Speaker 24 (01:19:38):
Saw his recent video announcing it, you know, and he's
he's been in politics since he was like, you know,
twenty years old, you know, good forty years thirty forty years,
So it's it's it's not new. He knows, he knows
what to do, he knows just paying attention, he knows
how to speak publicly. He has a lot of experience.
So yeah, it would be interesting to see who will
challenge him.
Speaker 3 (01:19:58):
Yeah, yeah, I mean I think it's a good way
to get his footback in the door, you know, and
then you know, maybe he has aspirations for you know,
something bigger, you know, president. Yeah, So we'll see and
they'll have you know, noodle new is a VP, you know.
Speaker 24 (01:20:18):
Okay, because we do that, we get the doctor doctor
Jones first.
Speaker 3 (01:20:22):
Exactly, give me the exclusive on it. I'm just saying, yes. So,
you know, there was a blackout Friday, an economic blackout,
so there was a call for consumers to pause on
their spending. They were mainly focusing on you know, the
big box stores like Target, Walmart, Amazon, things like that,
(01:20:43):
and they wanted people, if you had to buy something,
to spend locally and with cash. So it's basically a
protest against corporate greed, you know, definitely a protest against
you know, the companies that rolled back their d I
efforts and Trump's efforts to eliminate federal d I programs
since he's taken office. So did you participate in the
(01:21:05):
economic blackout?
Speaker 24 (01:21:07):
Fortunately, I was home all day Friday, uh so pretty much. Yeah, okay, Yeah,
I got out of work, got the kids from school,
we came home, had some spaghetti, played some games, we
had a We had a video shoot Saturday morning, so
I didn't want anything. I didn't want to go out,
be out late, be up late. I kind of wanted
(01:21:28):
to just focus on cleaning the house and making sure
everything was in order for the kids rooms, and preparing
ourselves for the for the video shoot Saturday morning.
Speaker 5 (01:21:36):
Yes, no, I heard.
Speaker 3 (01:21:38):
I was at the diner last night. I hosted a
party and the waitress there was like, you know Noodle
Knew was here.
Speaker 2 (01:21:46):
Oh yeah, I know you told me, but I love her.
Speaker 3 (01:21:49):
She's so funny.
Speaker 5 (01:21:50):
She was there when we met last year.
Speaker 24 (01:21:52):
Yeah yeah, yeah, was like comedian doing that's a comedian.
Speaker 3 (01:21:59):
I was like, and she got a good memory.
Speaker 5 (01:22:02):
Yeah, she was funny.
Speaker 3 (01:22:04):
Yes, what were you shooting?
Speaker 24 (01:22:08):
So we were we're trying to create a little bit
more awareness around the shared parenting, you know, equal custody initiatives,
So uh, yesterday we shot it, says a real and
we're gonna try to shop it too some networks to
see if we can get some funding behind it to
create an actual full documentary for it. So that's the
ultimate goll So we were one of the one of
the scenes we had was at the diner yesterday.
Speaker 3 (01:22:30):
Okay, that's dope. Yeah, so I did good too. I
didn't go shopping at any big stores. I was, you know,
pretty busy. I let me see, I'm trying to think. Oh,
I covered a Black History event Friday. Now, normally, you know,
I do do my eating out on and stuff. I
do my eating out. But we went to a black
owned establishment on Friday to eve. I was up in
(01:22:51):
Kingston covering a Black History event. So they have a
new black restaurant there. I think it was called Good
and Eat something like that. So we spent locally.
Speaker 5 (01:22:58):
So I did nice.
Speaker 24 (01:23:00):
That's good. Yeah, that's really good.
Speaker 3 (01:23:02):
For people that missed the boycott, Pastor Jamal Bryant has
organized a forty day target fast if you want to
participate in the boycott, and then there's an Amazon boycott
on March seventh through the fourteenth. I think people gonna
have problems with that. People love some Amazon.
Speaker 24 (01:23:19):
You know the thing about you said, what's the pastor's name?
Speaker 3 (01:23:22):
You said this doing the forties Jaman passed Jamon see.
Speaker 24 (01:23:25):
Something like that I think is more productive, you know,
in my opinion. It's you know, because when you tell
tell everybody to avoid shopping, you know, on Friday, you know,
and it's the weekend, and they just you know, they
don't shop Friday, but they go get everything that they
were gonna get on Friday Saturday.
Speaker 5 (01:23:42):
You know.
Speaker 24 (01:23:42):
It's like when you when you have a week or
or a forty day protest. I think that's that's that's
more sincere commitment and dedication. But just saying don't do
this on Friday, then everybody go do it.
Speaker 3 (01:23:54):
On Saturday exactly exactly that.
Speaker 24 (01:23:58):
Pastor that has a forty day idea. You know, that's
that's more like a protest to me.
Speaker 3 (01:24:03):
And then you know, the thing was, I feel like
they picked the wrong day. How you gonna pick a
Friday first of all? And people got they check on Friday,
you know what I mean. They don't wait it all
month and you're gonna pick a Friday. The stores. I
saw plenty of cars at Walmart, Target stopping shop, you
know what I mean. Like the people that organize the date,
(01:24:24):
they picked the wrong day.
Speaker 24 (01:24:25):
Yeah, they'll need to do like stuff like that in
these days. And my opinion's gonna have to be like consistent,
like you have to do it like every couple of weeks.
So you're going against you know, the last forty fifty
years of convenience for people. You know, it's just what's
become now. You know, sixty years ago, protesting, you know,
(01:24:45):
you could have got people to avoid shopping for six
seven months. You know, it was just there wasn't everything
wasn't the way it is now. They didn't have the
Internet prior to two thousand, you know, so shopping online
it has been such a convenience that it's a habit
almost to say for people. You know, I had I remember,
I've had stuff in my Amazon car for like six months,
just like one day I'm gonna go back and get
(01:25:06):
to It's so convenient. So to change that, you know,
it's gonna take more than just Hey, everybody in America
don't shop Friday, like right, So people don't even take
it serious. But you know, if you continuously do that,
you know, maybe every month for the third week of
that month, we don't shop until we get comfortable with
(01:25:28):
you know, expanding it to two weeks. You know, then
we'll expand it to three weeks the next thing. You know,
by the end of the year, we're only shopping at
the mom and pop spot. So the you know, the
independent small business and black owned businesses. But that one
day thing, I don't know how far that's going to
go as far as like getting people to actually understand
the initiative and what the purpose of it is.
Speaker 5 (01:25:48):
Right.
Speaker 3 (01:25:49):
So yeah, so Target has the forty day fast but passes.
Jamaal Bryant is organizing Amazon.
Speaker 7 (01:25:55):
That's awesome.
Speaker 3 (01:25:56):
March sevent to fourteen. Walmart, the boycott is a April
seventh through the thirteenth, and then the future no spend
days are Friday, March twenty eighth and Friday, April eighteenth.
So I don't know why they picking Fridays because people
got to go traveling on the weekend and you know,
you don't need gas and stuff. So I don't know.
We'll see what they do for the next ones. All right.
(01:26:19):
So the next story that I want you to comment
on it. This was amazing to me. I could not
believe it when I saw it on TV. The argument
with Trump and Ukrainian leader Voladimyer for Zibanski, that was crazy.
So this happened on Friday. It was a heated argument,
it was televised. So I'm gonna go ahead and play
(01:26:42):
the clip. Now, I normally spill tea with my comedian,
but I had to do the politics with you because
you are our political specialist. So I'm gonna play this clip.
I was just watching TV, and I said.
Speaker 2 (01:26:53):
Are they arguing?
Speaker 3 (01:26:54):
The presidents are arguing. So I'm gonna go ahead and
play this quick one minute clip, and then we're gonna
come back and talk about it.
Speaker 31 (01:27:07):
Remember, you're in no position to dictate what we're gonna feel.
Speaker 2 (01:27:13):
We're gonna feel.
Speaker 24 (01:27:13):
Very good, feel influenced.
Speaker 5 (01:27:15):
We're gonna feel very good and.
Speaker 24 (01:27:17):
Very strong, feel influenced.
Speaker 12 (01:27:18):
You're right now, not in a very good position.
Speaker 5 (01:27:21):
You've allowed you to be in a very bad position
to be right.
Speaker 24 (01:27:25):
About the beginning of the war.
Speaker 5 (01:27:27):
Not in a good position.
Speaker 12 (01:27:28):
You don't have the cards right now with us.
Speaker 30 (01:27:31):
You start having right now, you place, you're gambling with
the lives and millions of people see you're gambling with
world War three.
Speaker 31 (01:27:42):
You're gambling with world War three. And what you're doing
is very disrespectful to the country. This country that's back
to you. Far more than a lot of people said
they should have have.
Speaker 2 (01:27:54):
You said thank you once.
Speaker 32 (01:27:57):
In this entire meeting, you said you will to Pennsylvania
and campaigned for the opposition in October, offers some words
of appreciation for the United States of America and the
president who's trying to save your country.
Speaker 24 (01:28:12):
Please, you're seeing that if you will speak, we're loudly
about the war.
Speaker 31 (01:28:16):
He's not speaking loudly. He's not speaking loudly. Your country
is in big trouble. No, No, you've done a lot
of talking. Your country is in big trouble.
Speaker 24 (01:28:25):
I know you're not winning. You're not winning this.
Speaker 31 (01:28:28):
You have a damn good chance of winning out Okay
because of breath.
Speaker 3 (01:28:45):
All right, So that was Trump and Zolanski and MVP
Advance chiming in as well they're crazy or what it was.
Speaker 24 (01:29:00):
It was you know, Trump. Trump has his his he
has his way of of of of talking, and you know,
we're not We're not used to it. And I don't
think we're I don't think we should honestly get used
to it, but we're not used to a person and
the position of a president to speak the way he speaks.
You know, you go from somebody like Barack Obama. Every
(01:29:24):
time he talks, it's like I just want to hear
like Barack Obama could go on the microphone is saying
is ABC's and it's like the way he said that
a it just really motivated me. And then you go
from that to you know, Trump as the next president,
and it's just like he's he's he's he's disrespectful, you know,
he's he cuts people over there talking. His vocabulary is
(01:29:46):
not extremely expanded, so he doesn't use a lot of
words to articulate how he's you know, he feels. You know,
he always says something with the worst has ever been
or the greatest has ever been, you know, without any
actual research to what he's saying. But you know, in
this situation, it's it's you know, I think that their
purpose was to show that he's like an authority figure
(01:30:11):
now like you know, I think Trump was trying to
let the world see listed this is how I'm negotiating business,
like either you you're complied with what we say, or
we're going to stop supporting what you want because we're
we're cutting off our resources to help you and you
don't even have the decency to respect me when I'm talking,
you know. So that's like, that's that's kind of the
(01:30:32):
the perception that I would assume that they put this
out publicly for you know, and plus it goes against
you know, Trump's whole platform of supporting every other initiative
outside of the US. So he's just like kind of
trying to show his supporters that I'm sticking to my word.
You know, I said, if we're going to give other
(01:30:53):
countries resources, they're going to respect our country. You know,
that's kind of I guess that's the purpose of him
sharing that publicly with everybody. But you know, like I said,
when you're not used to seeing somebody in that position
speak the way he speaks, it's brand new, and it's
it just comes off crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:31:10):
Yes, that definitely came off very crazy. I've never seen
anything like that, like presidents arguing like for one thing,
like y'all should have been talking, you know, without the
cameras and then y'all have a press conference or whatever
you're doing. But it was crazy to me. So De
Lindsay was at the White House, you know, they were,
you know, talking about a resource sharing agreement to share
(01:31:34):
Ukraine's mineral wealth and to have peaceful negotiations with Russia.
This was following a week of visits from leaders from
France and Britain urgent Trump, you know, to not abandon Kaviv.
So Trump said, you know, basically that they gonna be
doing a lot of drilling. He was like, they're gonna
be dig dig dicking to recoup all the money in
(01:31:55):
military aid that they provided to Ukraine. But he's still
not committal on providing protection to Ukraine. So I think
that's where the argument kind of comes, because it's like,
you want this oil, but you're not saying that, y'all
you're gonna protect us still.
Speaker 24 (01:32:11):
So yeah, I mean, Trump, he's playing the narrative where
he's you know, he wants to you know, and I
don't know the truth behind it at all, but he's
playing the narrative where he wants to come off apparently
as he's a mediator between Ukraine and Russia, you know,
and he's saying that Ukraine needs to make compromises in
(01:32:32):
order to eliminate this continued you know war with them,
and you know, and Dolensky basically was saying that, you know,
Putin's actions were about Russia's aggression, it was not not
necessarily personal hatred. So you know, but Trump says that
he had like decent discussions with Putin to end the war,
(01:32:54):
you know, but Dolensky's like, you know, we need to
preserve Ukraine's you know, territorial you know, just we have
certain things that we have to do because we don't
trust what Putin's saying, what Trump is saying that I
can speak to Putin to get this result, but you
gotta be willing to compromise.
Speaker 3 (01:33:10):
That's that's that loyal.
Speaker 24 (01:33:13):
Yeah, you know. So and again, like we never know
what type of relationship Trump has with with Russia's you
know leader. It's that It's definitely unfolded a lot during
the campaign about how he got support from them and whatever.
So you know, we just we just gotta be careful us.
That's what I would. We just gotta be real careful.
Speaker 3 (01:33:35):
So what do you think about him renaming the Golf
of Mexico to Golf of America because you know, Mexico's
talking about soon can a president do that? Like what
is the procedure for naming?
Speaker 24 (01:33:49):
So I don't I don't know if if it's okay
for to do that. I know they having like this
sea level issues and whatnot, but to just you know,
change the name. I don't I don't know if that's
gonna if that's gonna work.
Speaker 3 (01:34:09):
All right, There's so many more things we could talk about,
but we running ads. Tell us about your new podcast,
Politics and Music.
Speaker 24 (01:34:20):
Yes, me and my partner Jamar and my partner Rahem,
we were working with a few school districts in our
hometown home city PC in New York with helping kids
create their own podcast. So we decided to open up
on podcasting studio. So, uh yeah, we're gonna start releasing
(01:34:42):
shows every month. We've had some great guests, young lady
named Ashley Polano watch Just the Family, so she's an
amazing advocate for domestic violence shared parenting, like she's super
super awesome. Senator Pete Hartham is on one of our shows.
We have a few people. That's only the up the
(01:35:02):
upcoming episodes, but the content is about politics and music
and the influence that elected officials and musicians have on
our people, especially the last couple of years. You know,
we had Kendrick Lamar at the super Bowl, you know,
and the message behind a lot of his you know,
his his performance was you know, overlooked or even missed
by a lot of people you have people like you know,
(01:35:23):
I saw Making the Stallion. Wasn't too proud of it,
but I saw Megan the Stallion, you know, doing her
dance and whatever at Kamala Harris's even you know. But
it's just that influence of music and politics. So we
created the show that being the podcast show Politics and
Music to discuss a lot of the issues in politics
and music and how influential it is to our young
(01:35:45):
voters and even you know, older voters.
Speaker 3 (01:35:49):

Speaker 24 (01:42:46):
That's me.
Speaker 3 (01:42:47):
So what made you pledge? Like, are you from a
whole line of aka's or what.
Speaker 23 (01:42:54):
So well you know yes and no, my family members
they were all attended HBCUs.
Speaker 5 (01:43:06):
Okay, and my brother's a Kappa.
Speaker 23 (01:43:08):
Then I have close friends and family members that are
a Ka's. But so during my high school years, I
used to attend their homecomings during my spring break. So
I would see the aka's on the yard and just
(01:43:30):
looking fabulous and classy, and I would say to.
Speaker 22 (01:43:37):
My relatives, who are they?
Speaker 24 (01:43:40):
You know, I want to be like them, and.
Speaker 23 (01:43:43):
She would say, you know, those are the Akas. Those
are the Aka's. You know, they're the first, the first
black UH female sorority. And I would also see them
do things in the community. I'm born and raised in Inglewood,
New Jersey, so many of my teachers they were a
(01:44:08):
Ka's and during the eighties, during that time, one of
the big initiatives was it was called Africa, and they
would display their contributions the chapter, the local chapter within
(01:44:29):
Berken County, because Inglewood is in Burkeen County.
Speaker 22 (01:44:34):
They would display their contributions and donations to.
Speaker 23 (01:44:40):
The school on what they're They would highlight it on
what they were donating to the families in Africa, and
in addition to that, they would sell dresses, make suits,
and outfits that would be shipped over to Africa. Also,
sickle sound anemia is a big thing within the black community,
(01:45:04):
so they would do fundraising within the community, within the
Broken County community to support black families in Africa to
provide them with the necessary support and treatment for sickle
cell disease.
Speaker 3 (01:45:23):
That's beautiful.
Speaker 23 (01:45:24):
So when I got to college, it was a no
brainer that AKA was the way, Okay. So I ended
up being initiated my sophomore year. Dan you okay, Beta Alpha.
Speaker 7 (01:45:38):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (01:45:39):
I love it that you had teachers that were aka's,
Like I don't even remember ever having a black teacher period,
let alone at aka. So that's good that you were
surrounded by all that black greatness.
Speaker 5 (01:45:52):
That's beautiful.
Speaker 3 (01:45:53):
But you know, I would see all the sororities and
stuff on the yard too, and the Akas were always beautiful.
I love the Delta as well. But you know they
were doing a lot of hazing at Howard. I was like, no,
thank you, no.
Speaker 5 (01:46:08):
Stop.
Speaker 3 (01:46:08):
Now if people missed it in undergrad, can they still pledge?
Speaker 23 (01:46:16):
Absolutely they can, but they have to have a college degree, okay,
and they must have a C plus average or higher.
Speaker 5 (01:46:28):
So we have.
Speaker 23 (01:46:31):
Local we have local graduate chapters. So the graduate chapter
here where we are located Rockland County, New York, we
have our graduate chapter which is Court which is named
pi PSI Omega. Okay, so yes we have you can,
(01:46:56):
but you have to be invited in. It's different from
entire where you have the rush. And you know it's
a different selection process well graduate compared to undergraduate.
Speaker 3 (01:47:11):
Who invite you? And it has to be a current member.
Speaker 22 (01:47:15):
Oh, absolutely has to be a current member, okay.
Speaker 3 (01:47:19):
And you have a certain amount of people that you
pick every year.
Speaker 23 (01:47:23):
Well not necessarily, it's just determined on a year to
year basis and what is the need of our chapter
at that time.
Speaker 22 (01:47:35):
Every graduate chapter within the North Atlantic region and all
over all over.
Speaker 23 (01:47:44):
All over the country, all over the world, every a
k every graduate chapter.
Speaker 22 (01:47:50):
You know, they have their own needs. So it's not
a yearly thing where we bring a new members.
Speaker 23 (01:48:01):
Or you know, bringing initiates, initiats initiates.
Speaker 3 (01:48:05):
Now, okay, so you are the chapter president in Rockland County.
You served as secretary, hostess and vice president. So now
that you are the president, what is your vision for
your chapter.
Speaker 23 (01:48:22):
Well, we we're out there in the community and we
have initiatives that we follow for the sorority and that
is empowering our families, building economic wealth, enhancing our environment,
(01:48:45):
advocating for social justice.
Speaker 22 (01:48:47):
And uplifting our community. So this is what we do
on an ongoing basis every year.
Speaker 23 (01:48:59):
So we make sure that we're out in the community
letting people know who we are.
Speaker 22 (01:49:06):
We do focus on.
Speaker 23 (01:49:08):
Individual's minorities or you know the BIPOD Black, Indonish, Indonish,
you know.
Speaker 22 (01:49:20):
People of color. So we'd like to uplift our community
in need.
Speaker 3 (01:49:28):
Okay, Well, we have a few minutes left and I
wanted to talk a little bit about your vent that
you have coming up real soon. We also have Whitley
in the clubhouse. She's the vice president Willy Caesar, so
I want to talk a little bit to her. Hey, Whitley,
can you tell us a little bit about your event
(01:49:48):
that you have coming up. Hi, Joe, how are you today?
I am good, excellent, of course. I know you guys
have an event coming up that you're showcasing the importance
of building economic wealth in the community with some women entrepreneurs.
So tell us about your event.
Speaker 25 (01:50:11):
Yes, this is one event that we've been working on
since last program year. The event is March sixteenth at
NIA New York at the local Library. And this event
is bringing together African American entrepreneurs, especially women. So we
have vendors from Jeway makers, health, mental health doctors on site,
(01:50:32):
Jeway making candles, any kind of craft, any kind of
business entrepreneurship that's out there.
Speaker 22 (01:50:38):
We haven't being represented that evening or that afternoon. We
have eighteen vendors for showcasing. This is the first one,
so it's going to be bigger and.
Speaker 3 (01:50:46):
Better each year. I love it, and it's free for
people to get in.
Speaker 22 (01:50:52):
It is free.
Speaker 25 (01:50:53):
We just ask you guys come support the local vendors
and just bless them. We're buying and electronized from them.
Speaker 3 (01:51:00):
I love that. Yes, we were just talking about, you know,
shopping locally and support small businesses. So you're going to
be supporting women entrepreneurs of color, and I know it's
going to be amazing. It makes me think of you know,
circle of Sisters. Yeah, that event. Yeah, so, yes, it
(01:51:21):
makes it.
Speaker 22 (01:51:22):
It's also great.
Speaker 25 (01:51:23):
It's also a great way for these entrepreneurs to come
together and network and share best practices and you know,
some businesses might be further on the others. It'll be
a good afternoon to have the sister the sisterhood. The
women shouldn't working together and really encouraging, empowering each other
that you got this, you can do this. You can
scale up in different things like that.
Speaker 23 (01:51:43):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (01:51:44):
So it's at the Nayak Local Public Library. And what's
the time again?
