call our lineup Today's Sunday Best. So I always like
(04:55):
to start the show off with some music from some
of the Beet Sunday Best winners, judges and hosts. I
started it all off with the blood sermon.
Speaker 9 (05:05):
Yes.
Speaker 8 (05:05):
We had to get that sermon yes up in here
for Resurrection Day, and that was by one of the judges,
Pastor Donnie McClerkin. So normally we play some music now,
but since we already got a little bit of word,
Donnie got us up in the mood, we are going
to shift gears and stay in that mood of the
(05:27):
word because it is Resurrection Day. So we're gonna start
off with some word, y'all. So my first guest is
a minister, so let me change his music get get
into the music of the word. That's right there we go.
We ready for some word now. He is a minister.
He is a multi award winning Christian hip hop artists
(05:51):

Speaker 10 (06:10):

Speaker 8 (06:13):
Hey man? What happy Resurrection Day?
Speaker 10 (06:16):
Heavy Resurrection Day.
Speaker 8 (06:18):
Yes, So can you share a favorite memory from Resurrection
Day or what you're doing today?
Speaker 10 (06:28):
I'm sorry a favorite wasn't.
Speaker 8 (06:29):
A favorite memory? A favorite Eastern memory?
Speaker 3 (06:32):
Maybe?
Speaker 10 (06:32):
Grown Oh.
Speaker 11 (06:34):
I remember one particular Resurrection Sunday. We had to do
a play, okay, uh, and and you know it was
my first time really going up in front of the
church congregation and everything. And I was like, I was
so nervous. I was going to forget my lines and
everything else like that. And I remember my grammy, she
(06:58):
was on the front row. She was so happy being
proud of me.
Speaker 12 (07:01):
There.
Speaker 10 (07:01):
I was up there doing this play and I forgot
the lines.
Speaker 9 (07:08):
How old were you?
Speaker 11 (07:11):
And I was like, oh my god, I'm like no.
I just looked over my grandmother and she was like,
you know, she was shaking her head, but she said
it's okay. And uh, long story short, they came came
back to me. I did the party, you know, redeemed
myself man. But you know that was very favorable all
(07:33):
the way to this day. So you know that was
and we had a great meal after that, and you know,
you just had a real good time. But it turned
out to be a really good day.
Speaker 8 (07:43):
So how old were you then?
Speaker 10 (07:46):
I had to be maybe ten or eleven. I was like,
Lord help me. Yeah. Well, I mean, you know, it's
one of those dull times that you just never forget,
you know.
Speaker 8 (07:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (07:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (07:59):
We used to do those recitations as well growing up.
The Easter recitations. I think it was at the I
can't remember. It was during service or like, you know,
you come back at four o'clock or whatever, six o'clock
we do them. But yeah, we did a recitations and
we had a good meal as well. My grandmother was
an exceptional cook. She had two restaurants and everybody was
(08:23):
always invited over for Sunday dinner. We had the fried
chicken to get a hand, the collar, greens, canny as
mac and cheese, corn bread, biscuits, sweet potato, buy everything,
Lord Jesus, potato salad. Yeah I missed that. Oh man,
I remember that good. That was some good eating. I'll
(08:44):
tell you what. That was some good eating.
Speaker 13 (08:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (08:48):
Oh well, those were some good memories. So what y'all
got going on today?
Speaker 11 (08:53):
We actually have a concertlater on Insteed Gospel in the
Park and guessing on about and then you know, cooking
a deal. I'm thinking about breaking and breaking the grill out.
Speaker 10 (09:05):
You know, it's it's still you know, typical old school barbecue.
Speaker 8 (09:12):
Okay, that sounds like fun.
Speaker 10 (09:14):
I'm not sure.
Speaker 8 (09:15):
I mean I think I won't do it, but yeah, okay, Yeah,
So we're going to a concert. Bishop has a Kya
Walker has a concert every Easter now in Brooklyn. So
it's gonna be actually a choir fast. So yeah, it
gets big here every year. So they got Ricky Ziller,
(09:35):
James Hall. Let me see who else is gonna be? Oh,
jj Harston, They got a lot of different people. Vincent
Bohannon so he's been having that now. So that's like
our new tradition, going to the choir fest. So yes,
all right, so let's get into it. So I always
like to tell everybody where I meet my guest. So
(09:56):
I met you on social media, but I know your wife.
Your wife as a friend to the show. She's been
on de Price, so yeah, shout out to her, give
her my love. So yeah, so where did you get
the name t Wan from?
Speaker 10 (10:13):
It's short for Antoine, you know, it's.
Speaker 8 (10:15):
Oh, it's it's not t Wan. Huh, it's not Tea.
I've been calling you t Wan's twin.
Speaker 14 (10:25):
Because I'm like it's a short for Antoine, but you know,
I just really need to care for Okay, you know, the.
Speaker 10 (10:33):
The government name.
Speaker 8 (10:35):
You know, you ain't want that government.
Speaker 10 (10:38):
Name, you're like, but the honor of my dad and
my mom.
Speaker 11 (10:45):
I just you know, kept parts, you know, because you know,
Antoine was one of those kind of names people will
make jokes about, you know, and stuff like that, and
we're identifying with you know.
Speaker 10 (10:56):
Uh, you know, really really really sensitive guys. So I
mean know, so I have to change that. You know
that's definitely not me.
Speaker 8 (11:03):
Uh, you ain't sensitive, okay, but you know I just came.
Speaker 10 (11:12):
I just tweeked it a little bit, and you know,
they it worked for me there, stuck. It stuck with
me ever since.
Speaker 8 (11:18):
Okay, So tell us about your journey to ministry.
Speaker 11 (11:24):
Okay, well, for a long time, you know, I was
the oldest son of all all the grandkids and and
my family, and uh, you know with that goal, what
comes with that, you know, responsibility that you don't really want.
You don't want to be the one that everyone's looking at.
(11:45):
And you know that that Uh I don't want to
say mentor, but you know, I just don't want the
extra responsibility of being the one who you know, set
the tone and standards for everyone and stuff like that.
So I ran for you know, and when I got
old enough, you know, we went to church more than
Jesus did, so we were in church for you know,
(12:07):
seven days a.
Speaker 15 (12:08):
Week, so.
Speaker 10 (12:10):
You know, it was I got to that point where
I was old enough to not go That's what I did.
Speaker 11 (12:17):
And then for years and years and years I went
through making all kinds of mistakes and having to pay
for him, and.
Speaker 10 (12:27):
Finally got serious with the Lord when I was going
through something.
Speaker 11 (12:31):
You know, I was in New York and I remember
I was really going through really bad, you know, I
was going through so bad, and I just.
Speaker 10 (12:40):
Felt helpless and I just said, you know what, God,
I'm just giving everything to you. I can't do it.
I'm tired.
Speaker 11 (12:47):
You know, You're gonna have to see me out of this,
and if you do, I'll give you everything I got
from this point on. So he did, and I kept
my word, and you know, been so everything reach you know,
for him for quite some time now, even when I
had some success in the secular world with music, he
(13:10):
basically asked me, do you want to do what everyone
else is doing, or do you want to do something
with your gift that I gave you to transform lives.
Speaker 10 (13:18):
Or save some lines, or encourage someone. And I didn't
want to be.
Speaker 8 (13:23):
Like everybody else, So Amen, I gave you.
Speaker 13 (13:26):
Know.
Speaker 10 (13:27):
I was at that crossroads and I chose him.
Speaker 8 (13:29):
So amen on fire for the Lord's all right, Now
come on somebody, all right, Well, we are ready for
you to do the words of inspiration. I like to
do this segment because some people don't make it to church,
so I want to make sure that they get that
word for the week. So what has God put on
your heart to give to the people on Resurrection Day?
Speaker 10 (13:49):
Okay, let me see. Well I need you know.
Speaker 11 (13:52):
If you don't mind, I have to go ahead and
pray first. You have the floor, all right, Heavenly Father,
we come before you do with hearts for the gratitude
and awe. Thank you Lord for the person's gift of life,
for wakness up today with breathing our bodies and purpose
in our steps.
Speaker 10 (14:13):
You didn't have to do it, blow up, but you did,
and for that we give you praise.
Speaker 11 (14:17):
Thank you for every gift, every talent it received, You
plan it in us. May we use them off for
your glory. Whether we sing, preach, teach, dance, write, or serve,
we acknowledge that it all comes from you, and we
offer it back to you with joy. On this resurrection Sunday,
(14:38):
Lord God, we pause to remember the ultimate sacrifice. Thank
you Jesus for the Cross. Thank you for the blood. Lord,
Thank you for conquering death so that we might live,
not just survive, but thrive in your grace. You rose
so we could rise, You die so we could be free.
And today we celebrate not just an event, but a
(15:00):
who is still aliing and moving in our lives. God,
we lift up miss Jones to you right now. We
thank you for the ministry you've placed in her hands.
Bless her in every way and enlarge her territory, increase
her influence, and let your anments rests heavy on her life.
Speaker 10 (15:18):
Cover her family.
Speaker 11 (15:19):
God, bless them with divine health, supernatural wealth, and the
kind of peace that passes all understanding. Let prosperity chase
them down and overtake them, not just financially, Lord, but
spiritually and emotionally. Lord, we also speak blessings over all
your children. Good day, Cover us as we go about
our day, Keep us safe from harm. From distraction from
(15:43):
the enemy schemes. Let joy overflow, Lord, God, that testimonies rise, Father,
that love be loud. May every meal, every hug, every song,
and every moment be filled with resurrection power.
Speaker 10 (15:59):
Father God, we honor you, we love you.
Speaker 11 (16:02):
And we left up their money name well God as
our savior and our deemer and our risen King in
Jesus name.
Speaker 16 (16:09):
We prayed, Amen, Amen, Amen, So we're ready for the word.
So huh were ready for the word, right right, right,
all right?
Speaker 10 (16:20):
So uh I entigled this one called God. He got up,
so we can rise too.
Speaker 8 (16:27):
Amen, all right.
Speaker 10 (16:29):
And scripture comes from Matthew twenty eight five through six.
Speaker 11 (16:33):
And the Angel answered and said into the women, fear
not ye, for I know that ye seek Jesus, which
was crucified. He is not here, for he is risen.
And he said, come see the place where the Lord lay. Today,
we don't just gather for tradition. We don't just dress
(16:54):
up on Sunday's best hunt Easter eggs, Sherion mills. Today
we celebrate a rism savior, a king who conquered death,
hell and the grave. Today we used toll to wait resurrection.
Sunday as a guy like they called him so over
two thousand years ago. They hung him high and stretched
them wine. They mocked him, spat on him, pierced the side,
(17:18):
and placed the crown of throngs on his head. And
now God, spotless, sendless, greenness gave up the ghost and
was laid in a borrowed tone. And let me be uh,
let me pause.
Speaker 10 (17:32):
Right there. It was borrowed, borrowed because he didn't plan
to stay there. See, the enemy thought it was over.
Speaker 11 (17:40):
The religious leaders started, they silenced him, The disciples were scattered,
Pope seemed lost. But I can't remind you of somebody
today that a three teen couldn't stop a risen king.
On the third day, just like he said, Jesus got
up and I called him, I laan thing I straight
(18:00):
he got over all power in his hands. Yes, that's
same Jesus said in John eleven twenty five. I aim
the resurrection and the like. Yes, he that believed it
in me, though he were dead, Yet.
Speaker 10 (18:17):
Shall he live?
Speaker 13 (18:20):
So why do we celebrate? We celebrate because number when.
Speaker 11 (18:24):
Sin was defeated one six twenty three tells that the
wages the Senior's death that Christs paid, that debt.
Speaker 10 (18:32):
Number two, death was dethroned.
Speaker 11 (18:35):
Verse Corinthians fifteen fifty five says, old death, where is
thy steam, old gray?
Speaker 13 (18:41):
Where is thy victory?
Speaker 14 (18:42):
Yes?
Speaker 11 (18:44):
Number three, hope was restored because he lives. We can
face tomorrow and the last, but not least grace was
poured out. See, you and I have access to salvation,
not by rators, but by his finish work.
Speaker 10 (19:00):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 11 (19:02):
So no other religious leader, their prophety, and no king
or philosopher has ever died and lisen again.
Speaker 13 (19:09):
Only Jesus. And he did that for you and for me. Yes,
So I'm gonna leave you with this.
Speaker 10 (19:18):
The resurrection isn't just an event, It's an eternal shift.
Reminds of that. No matter how darktor Friday, Sunday is
coming all right now.
Speaker 11 (19:32):
No matter how data situation looks, God can raise it up,
no matter how finds you strayed.
Speaker 14 (19:38):
The cross steel has power to redeem. Yes, so today
that's up your head. He lifts it up.
Speaker 13 (19:47):
Yes, yeah, it relaxing boy. Let the King of glory
come in.
Speaker 10 (19:51):
His name is Jesus.
Speaker 13 (19:54):
And he got up so we could rise to amen,
have to rise with us Sunday.
Speaker 8 (20:01):
Yes, Amen, Amen, that's beautiful. That is beautiful. You said
it all, you said them out full. He rose, so
we can get up.
Speaker 9 (20:11):
I love that.
Speaker 8 (20:11):
Amen, beautiful, beautiful that We're ready. Now we're ready. We
can do it. Yes, amen. It's been a beautiful holy week.
We've just been peaceful and just you know, keeping our
mind on God. So thank you so much for that
good word. That was just amazing. That was wonderful. All right,
so you already pray normally we pray after the word.
Speaker 13 (20:34):
I was just so hot, you know, it's resurretions on.
I'm sorry.
Speaker 10 (20:37):
I was just ready to go.
Speaker 8 (20:39):
All right, So we're good. So we're gonna go ahead
and just shift gears and talk a little bit about
your music. So you are a multi award winning recording
artist and they call you the gospel Godfather. So how'd
you get that nickname?
Speaker 13 (20:56):
Okay, well, that name.
Speaker 11 (20:59):
That if those are familiar with the the movie The Godfather.
Speaker 10 (21:05):
There was a line that he said that's stuck with me.
Speaker 11 (21:08):
He said, I'm gonna make you an offer that you
can't refuse, and for me there was salvation.
Speaker 10 (21:15):
So I'm making the same offer to everyone with the
music that I do.
Speaker 11 (21:19):
Okay, Salvation to the Lord. And I also like to
rock them those for doors and I was rocking you
know the long you know, those zoop suits. You had
to change it up a little bit since then, had
the modernize theself. Okay, redirect some things, but uh, it's.
Speaker 10 (21:37):
Stuck with me.
Speaker 11 (21:38):
A lot of people you know, gravitated to it, and uh,
I've just been running with it ever since.
Speaker 17 (21:44):
I like it.
Speaker 8 (21:45):
I love it. Yes, okay, So how long have you
been doing Christian hip hop? How'd you get started in
your journey?
Speaker 10 (21:55):
He said? How long I've been doing with me.
Speaker 8 (21:57):
Christian hip hop?
Speaker 15 (21:58):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (21:59):
Okay, I've been doing that for quite some time now,
over over fifteen years.
Speaker 8 (22:03):
Now, Okay, how'd you get started doing it?
Speaker 11 (22:08):
Well, like I said, I had one time I was
doing second in music and I had we were right
there on the brink of you know, startom Uh. But
in the midst of that, while the deal was like
game easy and everyone was getting ready to be getting
ready to sign with this major deal, God said, hey,
(22:32):
you want to do what everybody else is doing, or
you want to do something that's gonna change some lines
and say something, you know, possibly save some lives and
save some souls for me, and uh, you know, I
struggled with it. I was like, you know, I wasn't sure.
I had some other artists that were like, you know,
looking at me, like, I know you ain't about to
(22:53):
do this.
Speaker 18 (22:54):
I know you ain't.
Speaker 11 (22:55):
You ain't about to go gospel on us, man, I
know you ain't. I had to break it to him
and say, hey, he's been too good to me. Man,
I can't just you know, I clear, but I ain't
gonna do it. So, you know, we cried for a
little bit, you know, because we had some guys that
was I mean, they the whole deal was based on that.
Speaker 10 (23:13):
You know, I was with them as well, and you know,
so it fell through, and you know, that fell off.
Speaker 11 (23:21):
And but God overnight gave me all this affter artist
stuffter artists, so much so that I couldn't even handle
it myself. I was overwhelmed. But we were able to
make a major impact here. You know, I want to
Producer of the Year that year in Alabama, and the
artist that I was going on that I was producing
(23:44):
went on and did some other things outside of the state.
And we're going all over crusading, all over overseas and
things of that nature. And you know, they won certain
awards off of that project that I did, I produced
for them as well.
Speaker 15 (24:00):
You know, so.
Speaker 11 (24:02):
I'm very, very blessed over the years, and I'm just
grateful that, you know, I asked to.
Speaker 10 (24:07):
Call and that he's honored me for that. So all right,
well I'm grateful.
Speaker 8 (24:14):
Let's play some of your music. Let's go ahead and
play some of your music. Let's go. I like how
it's got three o's in it. Let's go. Okay, you
already can feel the energy in it. Let's go. So
tell us about that song?
Speaker 14 (24:31):
All right, Well, you know how that was one of
a tagline that a lot of people use, like you know,
they're trying to encourage people to do whatever it is.
Speaker 11 (24:40):
For me, it's let's go. Let's that's that's praising better
than we've ever done before. Let's go, let's get it,
let's go, let's do it. Let's give him everything that
we have and uh, let's praise him right never before.
Speaker 8 (24:53):
Yes, I say let's let's go, and my tags I
do that a lot on my social media.
Speaker 19 (24:58):
Let's go.
Speaker 8 (25:00):
So that's good, that's current. All right, let's go ahead
and play it. So this is let's go by t
One the gospel Godfather. So don't go anywhere, y'all keep
it like right here to the Me and Miss Jones
show with me, doctor Miss Jones and t Wan.
Speaker 4 (25:21):
If you're going with me, let's let's let's praise Mexic.
Speaker 17 (25:32):
Praise him like a tax text, praise some messtel.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
Let's go.
Speaker 20 (25:52):
Every bit the praise I'm going and give it to
He's more than worthy. Plus, I know with all them
you saved my life and didn't to do it Docause
why is a mother praising nothing to it and nobody?
Speaker 10 (26:05):
Because love it like he does.
Speaker 5 (26:07):
He's one another county.
Speaker 20 (26:08):
Yes, he's coming back somewhere. That's the reason why I
love him so. And if you feel at what I'm
feeling to come all, a's go.
Speaker 17 (26:18):
Praise a Mexico, praising like a beetle pole. You to
praise a Mexico. Crazy to praise and some call let's
go play, let's.
Speaker 15 (26:39):
Go, let's go for a life of me.
Speaker 20 (26:41):
I can't imagine. I can't imagine how my life would

gonna eat later, so you know, just looking forward to
a nice day, said said our prayers, and so earlier
(59:17):
this morning.
Speaker 8 (59:18):
That's nice. How old is your grandson?
Speaker 13 (59:21):
He is four years old. His name is Coy.
Speaker 8 (59:25):
Shout out to Cooy.
Speaker 9 (59:28):
So nice.
Speaker 8 (59:30):
So I always like to tell everybody where I meet
my guest. So I met you through the station owner,
Jamie Roberts. So I know you guys went to Hampton, right.
Speaker 15 (59:41):
We did.
Speaker 13 (59:41):
We were actually a few years apart.
Speaker 32 (59:43):
Okay, but when I was doing stand up comedy something
I know that is near and dear to your heart,
he allowed me to perform when he.
Speaker 13 (59:51):
Was working at the New York Comedy Club.
Speaker 37 (59:53):
This is back in two thousand and five, doctor missus Jones.
Speaker 8 (59:58):
Way back then New See. I didn't see comedy on
your resume. I'm like, okay, comedian, look at you. You're
another one that does it all.
Speaker 29 (01:00:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 32 (01:00:12):
Yeah, Well I did stand up comedy and I loved it,
did it for a few years, and uh then.
Speaker 37 (01:00:18):
You know, life got a little rocky for me, you know,
just in terms of going through a little divorce, or
I wouldn't call it.
Speaker 9 (01:00:23):
Little butt's funny?
Speaker 17 (01:00:26):
Is that you?
Speaker 8 (01:00:27):
Okay, you got to give half of ain't funny no more.
I'm quitting comedy because ain't nothing funny no more.
Speaker 9 (01:00:37):
Wow.
Speaker 8 (01:00:38):
Well, congratulations on being engaged again, so you know, that's
a wonderful things.
Speaker 32 (01:00:43):
So yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely with a wonderful woman and uh,
you know hung in there with me as I you know,
got my feeedback on the ground and you've been rocking
and rolling since.
Speaker 8 (01:00:54):
Yeah, she's a ride of die. Absolutely, yes, awesome, congratulations
and congratulations on all of those awards. That is amazing.
And for being the first black in your elementary school,
I was like, how old is he? Y?
Speaker 15 (01:01:15):
I grew up in the.
Speaker 32 (01:01:16):
Suburbs of Philly, and you know, for whatever reason, this
section of the suburbs had not had a black attend
that elementary school. And you know, my mom moved me
from South Jersey out to this area and I showed
up in school in class that first day and I said, man,
I'm the only one that looks like me besides the janitors.
Speaker 3 (01:01:37):
Wow.
Speaker 8 (01:01:39):
Oh well, at least you had the janitors to be like, hey, hey,
what up, Bra, that's crazy? Why did they treat you?
How did the kids treat you? And the teachers and
all that.
Speaker 32 (01:01:51):
So you know, when you're six years old, fortunately enough,
you know probably ninety percent of the kids it was
all about playing, you know, out at recess and you know,
in the football or playing tag, so you know, racism
didn't really you know, rear itself at that age and
now teachers. You know, I did look back and was
able to see some in you know, some kinds of
(01:02:12):
racism that was not so much presented, you know, uh
just obviously, but more in you know, kind of ingrained
in the system, you know, towards towards in African American.
Speaker 8 (01:02:23):
Right, the microaggressions exactly. Yes, I get it. I definitely
get it. And it's a shame like even today, like
sometimes like I go, you know in some some of
the schools, like you know, I teach, and now I
started subbing, and it's like, you know, you still don't
have any black staff, Like how is it twenty five
(01:02:46):
and I'm the only one up in here?
Speaker 9 (01:02:51):
That makes no sense to me? Where are we not hurhing?
Speaker 8 (01:02:53):
I know that's some qualified for I'm a qualified person,
you know what I'm saying, Like yeah.
Speaker 15 (01:02:58):
So yeah, yeah, I know it.
Speaker 10 (01:03:01):
I made you feel it.
Speaker 13 (01:03:02):
Yeah, so you go ahead, no, I said, because you know,
I went.
Speaker 38 (01:03:08):
Through corporate America, so I know what it's like to
be in a meeting with the only one that looks
like exactly know, you have to you know, kind of
manage you know how aggressive you are because.
Speaker 37 (01:03:18):
You know even if you you know, say something, just
like everybody.
Speaker 13 (01:03:22):
Else in terms of uh, you know, with passion.
Speaker 37 (01:03:25):
You know you're the one that walks away that they
remember you.
Speaker 8 (01:03:27):
Know, right right, you don't want to be the angry
black person, the angry black woman. And so yes, I
feel you, but yes you are a boss. You founded
ten Man Creative Production. Did I say it right? Is
it ten man or is it supposed to be in Man?
I don't know?
Speaker 15 (01:03:48):
Okay man?
Speaker 37 (01:03:51):
And then the first the first initial of my first
name is Todd.
Speaker 8 (01:03:55):
Oh okay, there it is there. It is because I
was like thinking, you know what Wizard of Ours. I
was like, okay, okay, he got his you know, muse
from that. So yes, and he is creative. So you
over receive film, TV books, live speech making and creative
(01:04:16):
agency work. So are you guys the ones producing these
projects or you like helping other people with their projects?
Speaker 9 (01:04:23):
How does that work?
Speaker 15 (01:04:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 37 (01:04:25):
So you know everything is produced by us.
Speaker 32 (01:04:29):
You know, we of course have subcontractors that you know,
have the camera equipment and things of that nature. But
as far as the concept itself that is holy ours
and you know, of course our creative agency side, we
do work with clients, you know, so we kind of
flesh out an idea from them.
Speaker 37 (01:04:45):
But as far as the books, the film, the TV, uh,
those are all our concepts.
Speaker 8 (01:04:50):
Okay, nice and you focus on social impact, character development,
and mental health, so tell us about that.
Speaker 15 (01:04:59):
Yes.
Speaker 32 (01:04:59):
So, as as far as the character development, we write
workbooks and produce workshops for the youth, right, so, you know,
teenagers in particular, we kind of walk them through some
character development foundational principles that they can kind of take
with them that they may have not received at home.
Then as far as the social impact, you know, I
(01:05:20):
use as a resource and as a source my experience
growing up in that all right environment to kind of
help people to better understand each other and to you know,
learn to overcome some of those hard feelings they may
have had. And then the mental health, you know, I
speak to people through my own testimony about you know,
how they can overcome issues as well as your people
(01:05:42):
hope and their families who you know may have felt
like their family member may not return to who they
used to be.
Speaker 8 (01:05:49):
I love that, Yeah, may is mental Health Awareness month
as you enlighten me. So let's talk a little bit
about that. So you talk a lot, I know, you
say you've got an event coming up about mental health
and you talk to universities and different community organizations. What
is your mental health testimony?
Speaker 32 (01:06:11):
So my message as far as mental health is, you know,
it's important that we uh manage our mental health even
before the need to have a position or a clinician
to help us. So there's a lot of things that
we can do when maybe we're feeling down. You know,
we can show gratitude.
Speaker 13 (01:06:28):
You know.
Speaker 32 (01:06:29):
One thing that I find very important is to create
gratitude lists when you're starting to kind of have those
heavy feelings of not receiving in life what you would want,
you know, not receiving you know, things in life that
maybe others have, but to write down your own gratitude list.
That's to the things that you may even look at
it small, like waking up this morning or you know,
(01:06:49):
having heed in your house, you know, things like that
to make you feel better about your own situation, you know.
And other things would be to talk to someone you
know and you know, just don't isolate. You know, that's
where you know that bad things can happen when you're
all up in your head. So communicating with people, especially
trusted individuals, about how you're feeling.
Speaker 8 (01:07:11):
Hey man, I love that. Gratitude journals are big, so
you know, it's like looking at the glass like it's
half full instead of half empty. You know, some people
are worse off than you, so you definitely have something
to be thankful for. So I love that. So I
want to talk a little bit about Kanye West and
(01:07:32):
his mental health. So, you know, you always see him
in the news, him and his wife Vianca. They split,
They didn't split, I don't know. He had on a
black KKK outfit the other week in a recent interview
and he told him that, you know, he can't wear
it outside because they'll place him in the mental hospital.
(01:07:52):
And that's supposed to be on the cover of his
new album WW three. Then he has a track on
there called Hell Hitler cosby Free Diity. You know, it's
just always some foolery with him. So what can you
say about Kanye west mental health?
Speaker 37 (01:08:09):
Yes, so Kanye has admitted to having bipolar disorder.
Speaker 32 (01:08:14):
Actually in one of his on one of his album covers,
he has a shirt that says I have bipolar.
Speaker 13 (01:08:22):
So you know, with that being said, you.
Speaker 32 (01:08:24):
Know he also admits to not seeking treatment, and so
you know, that's a terrible combination to have a serious
mental illness but then to not seek treatment, and not
only is it unfair to himself, but it's unfair to
the people in his life and as a public figure. Uh,
doctor miss Jones, you know, we see that he affects
(01:08:47):
all of us because you know, he is a public figure,
is celebrity, and you know, he has these outbursts and
you know, unfortunately, you know, again it really makes people
with mental health issues bad because it appears as if
we are not in control of ourselves.
Speaker 13 (01:09:04):
So you know, he does need to seek treatment so
that he can control, you.
Speaker 32 (01:09:09):
Know, his behavior. And what he'll find is that if
he ever does see treatment, he'll look back at all
of these things he's done and really.
Speaker 37 (01:09:17):
Hold his head in shame because he's like, man, I.
Speaker 32 (01:09:19):
Could have not had these things happen and affect other
people had I gotten help sooner.
Speaker 8 (01:09:25):
Wow, do you find that a lot of black people
don't go to therapy or even church people?
Speaker 15 (01:09:33):
Yes?
Speaker 32 (01:09:34):
Yes, Unfortunately, you know, mental health is something newer through
our community.
Speaker 13 (01:09:40):
As far as understanding it, as far as believing.
Speaker 37 (01:09:43):
It exists, as far as not kind of swooping it
under the rug.
Speaker 32 (01:09:47):
And have you know Uncle Jim kind of locked away
in the room when you go visit, he's you know,
away from the family.
Speaker 15 (01:09:53):
But now it's.
Speaker 37 (01:09:54):
Becoming more and more open for our community.
Speaker 13 (01:09:57):
So it's important that we are open to the we
are open to learning.
Speaker 37 (01:10:01):
About medication when necessary.
Speaker 32 (01:10:04):
And again some of the principles that you and I
talked about about gratitude and talking to someone becomes more
ingrained in our community and culture.
Speaker 8 (01:10:13):
Right, Well, tell us a little bit about your upcoming events.
Speaker 37 (01:10:18):
So I will be speaking for the Urban League in Philadelphia.
Speaker 32 (01:10:22):
They are having a scholarship dinner for their scholarship recipients
this year.
Speaker 13 (01:10:27):
I will be speaking up.
Speaker 15 (01:10:28):
Govern mental health.
Speaker 32 (01:10:30):
Also, I have a screening of my film called The
White bra in the suburbs of Philadelphia and Phoenixville on
May twenty ninth.
Speaker 37 (01:10:38):
And this project actually can be seen on TV.
Speaker 32 (01:10:41):
And it's about a white gentleman who joins an all
black organization which is Omega Sci Fi Attorney Incorporated. And
it just show us his experience and it's a really
inspirational story of how people went from resenting him to
becoming best of friends.
Speaker 3 (01:10:56):
Wow.
Speaker 8 (01:10:57):
Well, keep doing what you're doing. Give every your social
media information and your website if you have one, so
that they can keep in touch with you.
Speaker 15 (01:11:06):
Sure.
Speaker 32 (01:11:06):
So people can follow me on Instagram at real todd Enman.
That's R E A L T O D D I
N N A N. And also they can go on
Facebook and follow ten Man Creative Productions.
Speaker 13 (01:11:23):
So that's where they can find me, and I'd be
excited for people to follow.
Speaker 8 (01:11:27):
All right, sounds good. Well, thank you so much for
coming on. I appreciate it.
Speaker 10 (01:11:32):
Thank you for the opportunity.
Speaker 37 (01:11:34):

Speaker 8 (01:11:35):

Travis Scott. Don't go anywhere, y'all. We got more ratio

Speaker 40 (01:14:26):

All right, we're coming back to comedian Double D. He
(01:15:31):
is in the clubhouse now hate Double D.
Speaker 15 (01:15:35):
Can you guys hear me better?
Speaker 8 (01:15:36):
Now, we gonna keep talking. We're gonna see we're praying
that you ain't under water. Let's see.
Speaker 15 (01:15:42):
Hey, I'm trying to tell you that everybody can't afford
the iPhone.
Speaker 14 (01:15:45):
Say y'all night. To excuse me, I still got to
save some galaxy won so I can talk trash.
Speaker 9 (01:15:53):
Oh you want you down?
Speaker 14 (01:15:54):
That's what I got. I'm he gave no twelve hundred dollars,
no phone, and I got an old car. I'm I'm
not doing that.
Speaker 8 (01:16:02):
You got a hoopy. You are not spending no twelve
hundred dollars.
Speaker 15 (01:16:06):
No, No, I'm tired.
Speaker 8 (01:16:08):
I answer, Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. Text messages, well,
I'm just gonna read the text. I mean, like he's head.
Speaker 14 (01:16:19):
I talked to everybody now I got a list. They
don't know what they can't understand me. I'm sorry, Jesu,
God bless me with a big tongue. Unfortunately, like I said,
he took me a minute because I was talking on
a regular phone. She said, sound like a wreck or robot. Yeah,
sorry my phone. We up yeah on battery, hanging out
(01:16:42):
and everything.
Speaker 13 (01:16:43):
But I'm using it.
Speaker 8 (01:16:45):
So you have been in comedy over twenty years. Congrats.
So I'm that you have hosted eighteen rooms. That's a
lot of rooms, you know.
Speaker 9 (01:16:54):
To me, like it's harder to do that.
Speaker 13 (01:16:57):
I used to go around and get room for me
with just so my comedian friends and myself can work
out get better, you know.
Speaker 14 (01:17:03):
And I mean I didn't make any money, but you know,
I enjoyed it. You write all your gott the new
guys and the veterans, and they all showed me love
coming through, you know.
Speaker 13 (01:17:14):
And and and that's how I grew in comedy.
Speaker 14 (01:17:17):
And I hope I helped some of them go. But
I try to keep a room up for us to
work out in, you know, yeah room. And now I'm
in Pennsylvania. I'm looking for a couple of spots up
here to start working out in you know, I'm trying
to put together show up here. I had one spot
up here called Scotti's World Famous work for a guy
named Stu and you know, but.
Speaker 15 (01:17:36):
We would had to build bill bill because we both
had just moved up here.
Speaker 14 (01:17:40):
So once you want to do comedy, you know your
fan bases in Jersey and New York and you know,
you know a lot of people there there you moved
to another state, it's rough to start over again.
Speaker 10 (01:17:49):
But I'm working on it.
Speaker 13 (01:17:50):
I'm working on it, Okay.
Speaker 8 (01:17:52):
Yeah, I find like, I think it's harder to have
a host room than to just like go do other
people's shows, because you know, you might have right the
lyrics that come in, so it keeps you on your toes.
You always got to write new jokes, keep it fresh,
keep it fresh. So that's good. I mean, it's definitely
gonna make you a better comedian.
Speaker 14 (01:18:08):
Yeah, being a host, you can you can pretty much
play it by ear with the crowd. You know, do
a lot of crowd work. Don't want jokes in, make
some new jokes. So it comes to the point where
you know you're always practicing.
Speaker 8 (01:18:24):
Yes, that crowd work.
Speaker 15 (01:18:26):
Yeah, anything that's funny.
Speaker 10 (01:18:28):
They're gonna talk about it.
Speaker 8 (01:18:31):
Yeah, that's good.
Speaker 3 (01:18:32):
I love it.
Speaker 8 (01:18:33):
So I know that you said that you.
Speaker 15 (01:18:36):
Want to yeah, a big thing right here for all
of us.
Speaker 8 (01:18:40):
Yeah, so I know you say you want to create
a new comedian sketch show. So you've been working on that.
Speaker 13 (01:18:48):
Yes, that is.
Speaker 14 (01:18:49):
I mean, I'm going to work with a couple of comedians.
I mean it's going to be like a like a
Living Colors slash, you know, but we're going to be
you know, want improv, you know. So it'll be like
a topic, Like you have a topic and you'll bring
it up and we'll discleptic. That's what we'll be doing.
So I don't want to give too much of it
(01:19:09):
because I want to. I want to get it out
there what I'm doing first and the biters can. But
you know, once you say something that you're gonna you know,
I'm gonna do this next thing, you know, somebody gonna
beat you to it because they.
Speaker 15 (01:19:19):
Got got the time and they got the money. I
ain't got neither came out.
Speaker 8 (01:19:26):
You ain't got neither one dog on it.
Speaker 14 (01:19:29):
I got it, I got it problems. You know, like
I said, we all go through we all got problems.
We all go through stuff.
Speaker 8 (01:19:36):
You might not want to sleep your day await, and
you might want to get to the church house. But anyhow,
let's go.
Speaker 15 (01:19:44):
Why we ain't got church right now?
Speaker 13 (01:19:46):
Well, we had church.
Speaker 8 (01:19:50):
Already up in here too. We had a good preacher
on today.
Speaker 15 (01:19:53):

Speaker 14 (01:19:56):

and my wife and the kids we go to uh
we go to christ Church down and uh rockaway and
we definitely go.
Speaker 8 (01:20:11):
All right, we're gonna go to a commercial rate and
we're gonna be right back with the anointed double day
and doctor miss Jones, the annoyed anointed with holy oil
and Jesus name.
Speaker 15 (01:20:24):
Here we go.
Speaker 24 (01:20:25):
I'm gonna get and make some noise for Grandma's cookie.
Speaker 3 (01:20:29):
Grandma pulling up.
Speaker 8 (01:20:31):
She like making cookies, head giving herbs. She got the recipes.
It's going up with some respect on her.
Speaker 3 (01:20:36):
Now, I'll give it up.
Speaker 24 (01:20:37):
Now we put the cookies and the cookie Johns, I
got the best recipe by far.
Speaker 6 (01:20:43):
She got balls, and she living at last.
Speaker 24 (01:20:45):
Can't nobody bake cookies like Grandma's. Grandma in the kitchen

mall seeing the normal business fit.
Speaker 4 (01:20:54):
So flies cook it real good with an apron.
Speaker 24 (01:20:56):
Time put the cookies and the cookie Johns got the
expensively by ball.
Speaker 9 (01:21:01):
She got balls and she living in lost.
Speaker 24 (01:21:03):
Can't nobody bake cookies like Grandma's wisdom to the maximum,
Grandma hare and Gray, she about that like keeping the
real No bacon, it's old fire. You got the whole
world bacon, Grandma's cookies.
Speaker 3 (01:21:17):
Yeah, we got the whole world bacon.
Speaker 8 (01:21:38):
All right, it's tea time. I hope that you got
your teacups ready? You ready to spill this tea? Double
D good? All right, here we go, I can hear you. Yes, yeah,
we're good.
Speaker 3 (01:21:54):
All right.
Speaker 8 (01:21:54):
So we got a few stories. I'm gonna try to
get to all of them. So Time has revealed the
twenty twenty five one hundred lists of most influential people
in the world. The list came out a few days ago.
It was as symboled by the American News magazine, which
was first published in nineteen ninety nine. So what they
do is they pick the people that they think are
(01:22:17):
changing the world. So they have five different covers and
on the front of the covers they had Demi Moore
on one, Serena Williams on one, Ed Sheeran, Snoop Dogg,
and they had somebody I didn't know. I had to
look him up. I think his name was Demis Hassabis.
He's a British person. He does AI research. So they
picked people from different categories like pioneers, leaders, titans, artists, innovators,
(01:22:43):
and icons. So these are some of the people that
are on the list. So for world leaders and political figures,
they picked Donald Trump. It's his seven time being on
He's been on there more than anyone else. Eli Musk
this is his sixth time, Robert Kennedy Junior jd Vance.
For entertainers, they pick Snoop Dogg, Nicole Scherzinger. I don't
(01:23:04):
know if that's how their name to me, Moore, Lauren Michaels,
this is his third time on the list. For athletes,
they picked Serena Williams is her third time, Someone Biles
is her third time, and Jalen Hurts and let me
see who else.
Speaker 13 (01:23:18):
Oh.
Speaker 8 (01:23:18):
For business, they picked Mark Zuckerberg. This is his fifth
time on the list. So those are just some of
the people on the list. Of course, like I said,
there's got a hundred people on there, So what's your thoughts?
Did they get it right? What do you think?
Speaker 15 (01:23:31):
I ain't hear you say Ol Shopton once.
Speaker 8 (01:23:33):
No, he ain't on there.
Speaker 15 (01:23:36):
Shopping on. He's one of the well known as the
activists for black people in the world.
Speaker 8 (01:23:44):
Hello, somebody, he should have been on there, you know recently.
Speaker 14 (01:23:48):
I mean, come on now, I mean I like him
better when he was chunky. But TikTok, there's a like
a chicken.
Speaker 15 (01:24:00):
I don't know what's going on.
Speaker 8 (01:24:02):
He can't dance.
Speaker 9 (01:24:03):
He can move, Yeah, he.
Speaker 14 (01:24:04):
Can move if he moves his head with his body.
His head and his body be moving. But I love
our chaptain and he's been working for us for a
long time.
Speaker 13 (01:24:17):
Was one of Martin Ruther.
Speaker 15 (01:24:18):
King days he had on one of those. He suld
have been Donald Trump. Why is Donald Trump on it?
What could he positively say to be influenced to any anybody?
Is what is he talking about?
Speaker 8 (01:24:30):
He is your president. He is your president, so he
is so he's our president.
Speaker 14 (01:24:36):
So I guess we we must respect the fact that
he's been doing something positive.
Speaker 9 (01:24:42):
Oh, come on, changing the world?
Speaker 13 (01:24:46):
He said it was have a lot.
Speaker 14 (01:24:48):
I have a lot of friends, I believe it or not, Black,
Spanish and white that they said they voted for Donald Trump.
Speaker 15 (01:24:57):
Now so saying he's doing a great job.
Speaker 1 (01:25:00):
Bro.
Speaker 14 (01:25:00):
We can't figure out what all what he's talking about.
Me personally, I heard him say thing. And my wife
now she said, oh, I wish I could voice for him.
He said something about women will be able to retire
at fifty one.
Speaker 5 (01:25:19):
God today, my god today, did he did he signed
off on that?
Speaker 8 (01:25:24):
My God today? Is all I'm saying. I don't think
he signed off on it. I don't think he.
Speaker 23 (01:25:31):
Signed all of that.
Speaker 15 (01:25:32):
And she gets to and she gets to shit home
while I come out here and work. Oh no, that
ain't happening.
Speaker 13 (01:25:40):
Hold on, sorry one second, my alarm.
Speaker 8 (01:25:42):
Going, Oh my god today, I can't jesus.
Speaker 14 (01:25:47):
Okay, sorry about that. Ore all women, though, yes, I
don't know. That might not be good for some of y'all. Yes, yes,
the ship home and eat and relax all day, that
might not be a good thing.
Speaker 13 (01:25:59):
You got to keep it moving, okay.
Speaker 15 (01:26:01):
Well anyway, and who else? Who else was?
Speaker 8 (01:26:06):
I wasn't quite sure why she was on the list.
She was from the Pussycat Dolls. I'm like, well, what's
she doing. I don't know.
Speaker 15 (01:26:15):
Everyone has been speaking, you know, for a while, so
I could see her.
Speaker 14 (01:26:19):
You know, she's been doing her thing a while for
because she's she's for the people and also but always,
like I said, I don't know. I haven't seen that list.
That's something I'm looking to. I'm sorry I didn't get
a chance to look at that. But top one hundred
and who do you think should have been on that list?
Speaker 13 (01:26:35):
That's not on that list?
Speaker 14 (01:26:38):
I don't know.
Speaker 8 (01:26:38):
Jamal Bryant maybe because you know, he doing stuff with
the DEI, with Target and everything.
Speaker 15 (01:26:45):
I like, I like, I like Serena Williams down there,
and that's a good look.
Speaker 3 (01:26:48):
That was dope.
Speaker 8 (01:26:48):
She on the cover too, so that was dope. But
Wednesday they're having the summit and then Thursday they're having
the gala. And so that's going to be aired as
a TV special on May fourth on ABC from from
ten oh one to eleven PM. All right, we got
to move on to the next door because we are
running out of time. So the Bodyguard movie is being remade.
Whitney Houston played the lead. She was a famous singer
(01:27:11):
who fell in love with her bodyguard, which was played
by Kevin Costner, who protected her from a dangerous stalker.
The movie came out in nineteen ninety two, and that's
when the song that she sang became famous. Emmy Dollary
partner had already done it, but I Will Always Love You,
so that kind of cemented her legacy. So the remake
(01:27:32):
is officially in the works at Warner Brothers. So what's
your thoughts do you think there should be a remake?
Speaker 13 (01:27:38):
What do you think a.
Speaker 14 (01:27:40):
Rerate wouldn't be a bad idea. They've done it with
multiple things. But you're talking about this is supposed to
be a series. How long is this thing gonna be?
Speaker 8 (01:27:50):
It ain't about to be no series. They gonna remake
the movie.
Speaker 15 (01:27:56):
It's gonna be a series like you know five part.
Speaker 8 (01:27:58):
Named Oh I don't no, I didn't see that. I know,
thank you. That's that sounds like a TV show. Then
we don't need five movies.
Speaker 15 (01:28:07):
Who's who's supposed to play went to Houston.
Speaker 8 (01:28:10):
Cheaf So I don't know who's supposed to play it officially,
but Tyra Banks was on Jenna and Friends TV show
recently and she said she think Taylor Swift should play
the role and Idris Elbow should be her bodyguard. What's
your thoughts?
Speaker 13 (01:28:26):
Oh, they're just switching it all, trying to tell you.
Speaker 8 (01:28:32):
What you think about that.
Speaker 14 (01:28:34):
I've never been a racist anything, But if you're gonna
make something, you gotta make it the.
Speaker 8 (01:28:40):
Same way exact.
Speaker 13 (01:28:41):
Okay, Hello, somebody.
Speaker 15 (01:28:44):
To Okay.
Speaker 14 (01:28:46):
I know he's the one of the women's favorite, you know,
and all that he's so called, so handsome and this
and that.
Speaker 15 (01:28:56):
Okay, so called he's so called.
Speaker 9 (01:29:01):
That's what y'all saying.
Speaker 15 (01:29:03):
He's just Elah.
Speaker 14 (01:29:08):
Anymore because I guess he's looking old now. But you know,
I think he just is a good pick, you know.
Speaker 26 (01:29:14):
I mean, so you think they should have him and
Taylor Swift, Not not Taylor Swift. No, maybe jan from
Martin Gina Gina.
Speaker 8 (01:29:25):
No, Tianna Taylor. I think would be good. Who Tianna Taylor?
She sings a dancing you know, Fanta, I don't know
what you think. It gotta be a singing sister, I mean,
and it gotta be a way to boy.
Speaker 15 (01:29:46):
No, No, I would I would with the girl with
the lady with the who's the singer?
Speaker 8 (01:29:50):
Al Jennifer Jennifer Hudson Jennifer Hudson, I would hud okay,
I think would be good. She sings.
Speaker 14 (01:30:01):
Now you now if you want, if you want to,
if you want to keep it real. Kevin Carston was
white right black. If you need a if you need
a white, I would give back to if they gonna
remake it, make it funny. He went to Jim Carrey.
Speaker 8 (01:30:22):
No for Aquaman would be my pick. He is all
types of fine. I'm just saying, oh.
Speaker 15 (01:30:31):
All day, the most, the most MoMA soile.
Speaker 8 (01:30:34):
Yes, if he finds me, he find me.
Speaker 13 (01:30:38):
He got pretty eyes like the eyes, and he grew swim.
Speaker 8 (01:30:44):
God did everything right on him. He just put him
together perfectly. He is a fine specimen.
Speaker 15 (01:30:50):
Yes, you said I was.
Speaker 8 (01:30:54):
He ain't got to do well, he ain't got to
be in nothing. He's still fine. Are we running?
Speaker 19 (01:30:59):
At the time, I told you, I thought you said
that was a Christian show something. Get that, get that
that that that that that that that out of your system.
I mean I said, I ain't a racist.
Speaker 10 (01:31:14):
You know, but he is.
Speaker 15 (01:31:15):
He is a decent looking white man. But you know, nah,
stick to this. He ain't stick to the action rules.
That's not that's not nothing.
Speaker 10 (01:31:24):
It is.
Speaker 8 (01:31:24):
Actually he's a bodyguard. They could have him doing some stunts. Yes,
he's a bodyguard.
Speaker 15 (01:31:31):
It sounds like you dreamed about doing.
Speaker 8 (01:31:34):
I'm just you asked me who my pick is. I
think you asked. If you didn't, I'm telling you we
got to move on to the last story because we're
so out of time, and I got one more guests.
I got to So the judge tells Wendy Williams her
career is done. So Judge Lisa So called off I
don't know if I'm saying right rule in Wendy's guardianship recently,
so she approved her moving out of her current memory
(01:31:56):
care facility. She said that she can move into an
independent list in space where she can have some visitors
and leave the premises. She also wants her to take
a new some new neurological evaluations to be reassessed for
her cognitive capacity to be her own guardian. The test
results would be an integral part in determining who will
manage her affairs. But she said that her career is over.
Speaker 13 (01:32:19):
That's right.
Speaker 8 (01:32:20):
She said that it was great, but it is done.
And she criticized her and her niece for their conduct
in the public eye when they've been given a lot
of comments during the court proceedings about her ongoing guardianship battles.
So she says that their statement has interfered with the
judicial process by leveraging public opinions with their status as
(01:32:41):
famous figures. She warned when they against trying to poison
the jury pool with statements in the media and accuse
them of leaking information to the press. So the judge
also threatened them with sanctions for future infraction. So what's
your thoughts.
Speaker 15 (01:32:58):
I don't think.
Speaker 14 (01:33:00):
I don't think any judge should be able to determine
whether or not you can still work or whatever. Now
if you need to be at a nuthouse, you know,
let the doctor say that the judge is judge gonna
make his call. Look at the judges, the Supreme Court
judges can make this. Donald Trump do what he ain't
supposed to do. He ain't listening to. I don't think
the judge should be able to if you can, you
(01:33:22):
can do something that you've.
Speaker 15 (01:33:23):
Been doing all your life and continue to do it,
you know. I think I think he slipped something in
her drink a couple of times and mess her up.
Speaker 14 (01:33:33):
I don't know, because he got added who wants to
sue everybody they kicked him from being producer. You know,
if I'm your husband and you kicked me and he
kicked me to the curb and you divorced me, I
think we.
Speaker 10 (01:33:50):
Should be working together.
Speaker 14 (01:33:51):
So he's still he's still fighting to sue and all
this because he don't think he should have been fired
the producers that I'm not working with you if we're
not together. And I think he messed her as far
as far as the judge saying that, you know, Wendy
can't do this and leave that woman alone. She got
(01:34:11):
money like everybody else. People with money, they get away
with murder alone. All messed up to the media and
everything and messed the head all up. He messed it
all up when he has to be the bomb. Can't
tell me when you know when he was hosting Caro
Lines went up there, I talked and he had people
(01:34:33):
like she had, but she was she's a good person.
I leave her wrong that they can't mess it with everybody,
but you know, because they can't. The media, Oh my goodness,
what's your media? It is good and it's bad.
Speaker 8 (01:34:48):
She passed the old test, so she how many cognitive
tests must she passed. My God, leave her alone, let
her go. Why do you get to rule over her?
I just I don't understand him.
Speaker 15 (01:34:59):
Get something that her whole time, close her eyes a
little bit, should be fine.
Speaker 8 (01:35:03):
Well, she got thyroid issues, I think.
Speaker 15 (01:35:05):
So.
Speaker 13 (01:35:05):
Anyhow, they have they called they have that they have
this thing called the posing eye.
Speaker 15 (01:35:12):
I don't know exactly what they call it. Tracy Ellis
rollers hawse it. A couple of people has it.
Speaker 14 (01:35:16):
With their eyes just poke out all yeah, yeah, So
but Wendy is. I think Wendy is fantastic. I think
that you know, she's helped a lot of cadis.
Speaker 8 (01:35:26):
Yes, we are so out of time, so tell everybody
what your upcoming events are and give them your social
media page.
Speaker 14 (01:35:34):
Okay, I'll be and Kenny, I'll be doing comedy at

focus on you being an author. Congratulations on that. So
tell us a little bit about your journey. How did
you become an author? Did you just enjoy writing as
a kid or you know what made you decide to
become an author?
Speaker 23 (01:43:44):
Okay, what if you also congratulations congratulations to you two
on your mouthstone on your doctor degree.
Speaker 9 (01:43:52):
Oh thank you.
Speaker 23 (01:43:54):
Yes, indeed, Well, it really wasn't my idea to write
the book about my life.
Speaker 9 (01:44:00):
It really was God. You know, I had no idea
I'll be writing a book about my life.
Speaker 23 (01:44:06):
So it was really predestined for me to write God
on my Heart and it was like twenty five years ago.
Speaker 8 (01:44:14):
M okay, now one thing, Okay, So your book is
called My Testimony Born for His Purpose. So first of all,
I just want to say I love the name. It's
very clear that you know it's a Christian book and
you know you're doing the work of God. But what
I really love too is the artwork. The artwork is
so awesome. You have a kid who's running a black boy.
(01:44:39):
His clothes are like kind of torn and beaten, and
you got that like the projects looks like the projects
in the back and he's running from wolves. I was like, okay,
I get it. Just from looking at it. I get it.
So are you the illustrator because I know you're an artist.
Speaker 23 (01:44:55):
Yeah, Well, actually I did the first cover. Well, my
team they well one of them felt like they could
do a better job, and he did.
Speaker 9 (01:45:03):
He actually did. So I want to give a congratulations
shout out to James.
Speaker 23 (01:45:07):
But that cover is actually a vision that I had
when I was a pre teen living in the housing projects.
Speaker 9 (01:45:14):
At the time, God was already working on me. I
just didn't know.
Speaker 13 (01:45:19):
So what I thought was a bad dream. I mean,
it was scary.
Speaker 23 (01:45:23):
It was actually a vision of me running through the
housing projects and these huge wolves was chasing me.
Speaker 9 (01:45:30):
And as they was chasing me, they was trying to
you know, bite me, eat me up wherever you want.
Speaker 13 (01:45:36):
Imagine.
Speaker 23 (01:45:36):
But as I'm running, I'm trying to run to the church.
And as I'm running to the church, the wolves they
turned around and the whole housing projects was empty. So
I never forgot that it would be decades later when
I realized it was actually a vision of things that
would happen to me in present day and time.
Speaker 16 (01:45:57):
Wow.
Speaker 8 (01:45:58):
Yeah, that okay, So there's a few things. Who are
the wolves?
Speaker 23 (01:46:06):
Well, now that I know better, the wolves is pretty
much like a you know, Jesus always saying things either
in parables or it would be something like.
Speaker 9 (01:46:19):
The wolves.
Speaker 23 (01:46:19):
Let me say like this, the wolves would be an
analogy of people who represent the anti Christ, you know,
and not just about me, but every.
Speaker 9 (01:46:30):
Christian believer that is going through extreme persecution.
Speaker 23 (01:46:35):
The wolves represent the people and the Christians that's being
chased or being persecuted.
Speaker 13 (01:46:41):
We are the sheep.
Speaker 23 (01:46:43):
So I didn't realize that we being a child of God,
even at their young tender age, the things that come
to me in the future would be people that will
be persecuting me. Because when I start realizing seeing things
in the spiritual realm, and I was wondering why these
people treat me no matter what happened. And that's when
my eyes, my spiritual eyes was opened. After I was
(01:47:05):
feel with the Holy Spirit and the Lord was showing
me that these people are low key Antichrist, but it's
so much deeper than that.
Speaker 9 (01:47:13):
Dr Jones, I just we don't have that much time
for me to really break it down. And they got
to get the book.
Speaker 8 (01:47:18):
They got to get the book. But you know, the wolves,
you know, I know you said that you're from Memphis, Tennessee,
which you know can be rough. Like you know, people
think of it as you know. I know, when I
think of it, I think of Martin Luther King, you know,
assassinating everything. And then you had the Projects. You're from
the Projects. So the wolves, I thought was like, you know,
(01:47:38):
like the drug deals and people trying to turn you
the wrong way. No, it's not about that that those
weren't the wolves.
Speaker 26 (01:47:46):
No, no.
Speaker 9 (01:47:49):
One one thing.
Speaker 23 (01:47:50):
He did tell me A lot of believers are asleep
when it comes to the spiritual realm. We say we
believe in God, and we know that God is the
supreme spirit, He is the creative of all things. But
when it comes down to talking about spiritual warfare, nobody
wants to talk about it. And I want to say
shout out to you because you care so much about
your viewers and your listeners. Because if I would have,
(01:48:14):
if I would explain the wrong way, I would have
sound creepy or sound like some kind of coat. But no,
the Lord really wants me to break things down to
believers when they read the book, to just give them baby.
Speaker 9 (01:48:26):
Food about my life.
Speaker 23 (01:48:28):
Because the first book just basically talks about my life
and going through life adversities where a lot of people
can relate to. But the part that people may not
be able to relate to, or some may have is
when I speak on the spiritual things that has happened
to me.
Speaker 9 (01:48:42):
And that's where people start learning like, oh, this stuff
is real. Demons and angels, this stuff is real.
Speaker 23 (01:48:49):
You know, so the worlds basically represent what Jesus said
in the Holy Bible. There are many anti crisis, but
it's not about the anti crisis.
Speaker 9 (01:49:01):
That's not the focused point.
Speaker 23 (01:49:02):
The focused point is for a believers to be awake
because so many of us are asleep and we're.
Speaker 9 (01:49:07):
Wondering, why is this happening to me?
Speaker 23 (01:49:09):
If we knew the power of prayer and the power
of fasting and the power of having faith, we can
change It's Hollywood would never show what really goes on
if we was to just pray and have faith, you know.
But it's deep, it's there, and I'm just happy that
the book is complete. It's been a tough journey and
(01:49:33):
you know, I'm just looking forward to what God's about
to do next because he'll show. God said he was
gonna do it big, but I never thought in a
million years I'll be on the radio show.
Speaker 9 (01:49:43):
And that just goes to show you how no God
has his hands on you. God, bless you, Thank you.
Speaker 8 (01:49:49):
So I want to talk about the empty You said
the projects were empty.
Speaker 23 (01:49:54):
Yeah, that I would never understand the whole, not just
the housing projects, but the city itself.
Speaker 9 (01:50:02):
And when I had this vision, it was like in
the mid eighties, So, I mean it was scary.
Speaker 23 (01:50:08):
It was dark, late at night, and I'm running through
the projects and these huge wolves, you know, wolves are
really huge in real life. They're like six feet or whatever,
five or six feet, and they just chasing me and
I barely looking back. I'm trying to run towards his church.
And I couldn't understand it, you know. So when I
woke up, I was scared. I didn't sleep for probably
(01:50:30):
about two days, two nights, and I remember not knowing God,
but I would look out the window of the housing
projects and I would just look up in the sky.
But even though I may not have known them, but
in my heart, I knew it was something up there,
you know, and they're up there is God, theymen.
Speaker 8 (01:50:50):
Well, I want to make sure you get a chance
to talk about the documentary that you're working on. It's
kind of like going in parallel with your book.
Speaker 23 (01:50:59):
Yes, the documentary, well, I want people to know the
I mean, the extreme persecutions of what I've gone through
to tell my testimony make a long story short.
Speaker 9 (01:51:13):
Actually, I have a book.
Speaker 23 (01:51:15):
Trailer on Instagram that your viewers can check out. But
the documentary basically explains where when I went to church
at Delirius Church of God in Christ. I was working
before that, I was working for some rich people, and
God didn't like how I was looking up to the
rich man and I left God.
Speaker 9 (01:51:34):
You know, I just put God aside and looked up to.
Speaker 10 (01:51:36):
The rich guy.
Speaker 23 (01:51:37):
Well, God gave me a vision that they was professional
warlock and witches. So what I felt like I didn't
have a personal relationship with the Lord.
Speaker 9 (01:51:46):
I went to church. So I went to church and.
Speaker 23 (01:51:51):
Well, of course the late mister G. Patterson no longer alive,
but his nephews to preside in bishop. So I went
there to just give my life to the Lord, and
thinking that's going to be it. Well, doctor Jones, I've
seen things in the Spiritual Ring.
Speaker 9 (01:52:04):
That it just blew my mind. And when I started
telling my in laws at the time, it started telling.
Speaker 23 (01:52:14):
The bishop and start telling people in the church, they
looked at me like I was like, man, what are
you talking about. I couldn't believe it. I was very
coherent of what happened to me. My eyes was closed,
but in the spiritu Ring, my eyes was open.
Speaker 8 (01:52:26):
Well, you got to put all that in the documentary
don't tell us everything because we are out of time,
but give everybody your social.
Speaker 23 (01:52:32):
Media every manage tells it all Instagram. It is my
testimony born for his purpose. You can you can see
the book trailer on Instagram.
Speaker 8 (01:52:42):
