Speaker 10 (01:07:03):
Well, you can say that.

Speaker 44 (01:07:04):

challenged by everything I had to say in the song.

Speaker 10 (01:08:24):

Speaker 6 (01:08:26):

Speaker 4 (01:12:15):
It's time for the comedy clip of the week.

Speaker 19 (01:12:18):
Keep it locked right here to the meet and Miss
Jones show with me, Miss Jones.

Speaker 86 (01:12:24):
I get all my stuff out that apartment, put it
all in my truck. I don't even have nowhere to go,
but I went where they say you can.

Speaker 5 (01:12:33):
Always go.

Speaker 7 (01:12:36):
Home.

Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
So I drove over to my mama.

Speaker 86 (01:12:40):
And my daddy house. The pastor and the first lady.
Surely they will have a word at a time such
as this. I get in the house, tell my mom

(01:13:01):
and my daddy what happened. Here goes my daddy. Oh,
this boy that got kicked out his own house by
his old lady. I said, what kind of pastor are you?
Then my daddy tell me, hey, you could stay here tonight.
But yeah, that's your wife you picked up. This ain't
no resk haven over here, so you can stay here tonight.

(01:13:24):
But then, yeah, you need to get yourself together. But
I had already determined in my mind I'm done. I'm
getting divorce. Yeah, I'm through with this here. Plus, you
know I'm a Christian. I know how to fix stuff
up for me. I was like, this the Lord's doing.

Speaker 9 (01:13:41):
He's making a way for an.

Speaker 10 (01:13:42):
Extent for me.

Speaker 2 (01:13:46):
Yeah he No, I knew it.

Speaker 86 (01:13:50):
So I'm living pilling the posts, living pill of the
post until I got me an apartment. We were separated
for six months. During that six months, though, I get
a phone call from beet Black Entertainment Television. They call
and they say, hey, man, we want to feature you
as one of the top five clean comedians in the

(01:14:14):
country at this time.

Speaker 2 (01:14:17):
Okay, thank you. At this time I'm not even good though,
I'm not.

Speaker 86 (01:14:35):
But I've been in church all my life, and they
talk about this thing called favor. So when you get it,
stop acting like you don't deserve it. Yeah, So I
told the people that bet I'll be there. They filmed
it at this hotel in Miami called the Eden Rock Hotel.
I don't know if y'all ever been to Miami, but

(01:14:56):
Miami the women, they are naked and unashamed, and they're
not even trying to be provocative.

Speaker 2 (01:15:04):
That's just a way of life.

Speaker 86 (01:15:05):
And so I get down to Miami and I filmed.

Speaker 16 (01:15:09):
The little show.

Speaker 2 (01:15:10):
I do my sitting.

Speaker 86 (01:15:11):
I had a good set, and that night after the show,
they had what we called today like bottle girls, bottle
service girls, and they were there with the terry cloth,
the little shorts or the little tube top heels, the
trays with the coconut drinks on them. And after my show,
I was just sitting on the couch and they just

(01:15:31):
kept coming.

Speaker 14 (01:15:31):
Up to me.

Speaker 9 (01:15:32):
Ooh, Poppy, Poppy, you were so funny tonight, Poppy.

Speaker 5 (01:15:51):
And I couldn't even.

Speaker 86 (01:15:53):
Enjoy it because I'm thinking, the only person who will
under staying the magnitude of this moment it's not here.
I've been pill A talking for five years, telling her
stick with me. I hain't gone, It's gonna pop for us,

(01:16:15):
and now it's popping, and she not here. I couldn't
even enjoy the coconuts. My manager was like, call your wife.

(01:16:38):
I said, the devil is a lie.

Speaker 19 (01:16:42):
Men shall not live by bread alone, but by every
word that proceeded out of the mouth of God.

Speaker 4 (01:16:50):
It is time to bring on the word.

Speaker 19 (01:16:53):
This is the preacher of the week. Keep it like
right here to the me and Miss Jones show with me,
doctor Miss j.

Speaker 45 (01:17:00):
Oh Time, money, sleep, energy, friends, confidence, opportunity, authority, freedom, flexibility, discipline, experience, joy, peace, wisdom.

(01:17:27):
And I stopped there with fifteen because Matthew fifteen. I
thought it wo'd be cool. Do fifteen fifteen things that
I just said that someone in this room feels like
they don't have enough of right now. Time, money, sleep, energy, friends, confidence, opportunity, authority, freedom, flexibility, discipline, experience, joy, peace, wisdom.

(01:17:54):
Everyone will have to navigate an area of not enough
in your life. The way that comforts me to know
that for all the things that I don't feel like
I have enough of, there's some things you don't have
enough of with your needy self. Either kind of evens
the playing field. So don't be intimidated. Don't be intimidated.

Speaker 7 (01:18:16):
Not in here any way.

Speaker 45 (01:18:17):
The ground is level at the foot of the Cross.
We're all here because we need Jesus, and Jesus is complete.
Jesus Christ is complete, fully, god fully man. At the
sound of that truth echoes back another truth that in

(01:18:39):
him I am complete.

Speaker 7 (01:18:42):
He is enough.

Speaker 10 (01:18:44):
I am enough.

Speaker 45 (01:18:44):
And yet there's no shortage of needs in this room.
And everyone will have to pass through in different moments
of your life, different facets of this same neighborhood called
not enough. And we have to talk about how to
navigate that, because I have found that not only is

(01:19:08):
the not enough thing a battle that never goes away,
but it is a battle that never fully gets in balance.
And what I mean by that is when I read
that list of things, there have been seasons in my
life where I worked my way into enough of one
of them, only to find another one screaming, Hey, now

(01:19:32):
that you got enough money, you don't have any time.

Speaker 7 (01:19:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 45 (01:19:38):
I thought about this in the area of discipline. I
tried to a disciplined person in my life. I need
that to stay on track. And yet I noticed the
times in my life where my discipline is really keyed in.
Sometimes I get so rigid that I lose my empathy.
And I'm doing really good with my disciplines, but I'm

(01:20:02):
mad at everybody else that they aren't as disciplined as me.

Speaker 7 (01:20:05):
Now I'm judging, so it's good.

Speaker 45 (01:20:09):
You know. I've got my macros and my workouts and
my Bible time. But creates a whole other not enough
over on this side. And I don't really want to
stay in this too long. Just wanted to set up
the idea of not enough. And I realized when I
made the title navigating not enough, and God kind of
led me to call this message that that in that
title navigating not enough, I am the best one to

(01:20:32):
teach this class because the two biggest fears in my
life are both in that title, not enough and navigating.
I told you two weeks ago that I have no
sense of direction, and I still don't. There's been no
supernatural miracle since then. And the idea of this passage here,

(01:20:56):
I looked at one verse and I want to show
it to you again that the disciples said again pretty
familiar scripture that I'm sharing with you today.

Speaker 7 (01:21:03):
But what they said to.

Speaker 45 (01:21:05):
Jesus when he said I want to feed all these
people I can get with because in verse thirty three,
they answered, where could we get enough bread? In this
remote place to feed such a crowd. And we're going
to stay with that question for a moment, because it's
very important. Where could we get enough bread in this

(01:21:26):
remote place to feed such a crowd. And here are
my two primary fears in life, all in one Bible verse.
And the first one is the fear of running out,
which runs deep for me. I don't know if there's
any scarcity mentality in your life, or some kind of
like deficit oriented way of thinking where you wake up

(01:21:46):
each day at zero. I don't know if you ever
do a little fire drills to try to figure out
how you could sell everything and live in a living underground,
live in a tent somewhere if it came to that.
But the fear of running out, I can't tell you how.
I can't explain. I cannot explain to you how important
it is that my phone is completely charged. Ninety three
percent is not one hundred percent. I cannot run out

(01:22:09):
of battery. What would I do if the phone died?

Speaker 7 (01:22:12):
I would die.

Speaker 45 (01:22:13):
It's a fear that runs from everything from iPhones to
sermon material. A lot of times when I preached too
long is because I was scared i'd get up here
and have nothing to say. So then I went and
messed around study too long and kept you three hours.

Speaker 7 (01:22:25):
But my heart's in the right place.

Speaker 45 (01:22:27):
I don't want you to show up hungry and collapse
when you leave because I was watching the game instead.

Speaker 7 (01:22:32):
So I really, really, really relate to this thing of
where could we get enough?

Speaker 45 (01:22:37):
The fear of running out, and then what makes it
even worse put the scripture back up?

Speaker 7 (01:22:42):
Where could we get enough bread in this remote place?
Did you notice that? So now, not only do I
not have enough?

Speaker 45 (01:22:51):
That's my first fear in life, but I don't know
where I am, and I need to know where I am.
And if I don't know where I am, I need
to be with somebody who knows where they are. And
that's where you're like, But the disciples had Jesus, so
it really didn't matter, because if you've got Jesus, you've

(01:23:12):
always got enough. And isn't it interesting how confidently you
say that about them back then? But if we followed
you back into your neighborhood of not enough, and you know,

(01:23:33):
when you get a little older, you don't even really
know if you can depend on your body in the
same way that you could.

Speaker 7 (01:23:40):
And I know I'm not old or anything like that.
I'm still vital, but yo, I pulled a muscle when
I thought I pulled a muscle when I woke up this.

Speaker 45 (01:23:52):
Morning and I was like, oh no. For about five minutes,
I was like, who's going to preach? And the worst
part was I pulled it yawning, not lifting weights. I
wasn't doing yoga or anything. I just yawned in something
pop just to remind me, just to remind me. You
know two extremes that we get into. I think when

(01:24:13):
we look at what we don't have and what we need,
there is an extreme that we go into, which is denial.
You know, no, I'm good, I'm good, I'm good until
you completely crash. And then the other one is despair,
where you are so aware of what you don't have
that you don't realize what you do have. And so, yes,
the disciples have Jesus, and yes he has all knowledge,

(01:24:34):
and yes he is omniscient, and he was and is
and will be all of those things for you, but
it does not change the fact that they are in
a remote place with limited resource. Now that's who I
want to speak to today. You are in a remote
place with a limited resource. Either of those is scary

(01:24:58):
just to be somewhere that is remote. I'm not talking
about just physically, you know that, I'm talking about emotional
states that you've never experienced. I mentioned stages of life
that you've never experienced.

Speaker 7 (01:25:11):
It could even be, you.

Speaker 45 (01:25:12):
Know, beyond just the psychological. It could be just beyond
the chronological. It could be that you are dealing with
a series, a combination, or a sequence of things that
you've never experienced.

Speaker 7 (01:25:25):
Quite like this.

Speaker 45 (01:25:26):
Everybody say remote place, now say limited resource. So I
don't have enough, and I don't know where I am,
and I don't know enough to get where I need
to go to get what I need.

Speaker 7 (01:25:42):
And I don't know where I am and I don't
have what I need.

Speaker 45 (01:25:45):
And those are my two biggest nightmares in life. So
I decided to preach about it. Navigating not enough. If
you are under the age of twenty, you will never
know the terror of navigating.

Speaker 5 (01:25:58):
By Matt.

Speaker 7 (01:26:01):
Not an app called maps.

Speaker 45 (01:26:03):
Not an interactive satellite guided device like a map map.
I went in the gas station yesterday and I was
gonna buy one to bring out here and unfold it
and like an icebreaker for the crowd and say, y'all,
remember these, everybody who pulls a muscle when you yawn, y'all,
remember these?

Speaker 7 (01:26:24):
And I was gonna they didn't even have a map
at the gas station.

Speaker 45 (01:26:28):
What is the world come to? I can't get a
map at the gas station? Elijah asked me before he
went to college. She said, how did you used to
do it? How did you get anywhere? I said, son,
it was traumatic. Your mom isn't great at directions, but
she was better than me. When we first moved to Charlotte,

(01:26:48):
there was the biggest city I'd ever lived in. And
I would go have appointments with people all through the
highways and the byways and the mean streets of Weddington, Waxaw,
Mint Hill, And I kid you not, there was not
a single meeting that I took that I would not
end up on the phone with Holly and she would
be at the house and I'd be on the road

(01:27:09):
and she would be guiding me. The Holly spirit would
be guiding me.

Speaker 2 (01:27:17):
And I don't know.

Speaker 45 (01:27:18):
We just celebrated twenty one years of marriage. I don't
know if we would have made it. Don't clap too quick.
I don't know if we'd have made it at five
if we would have kept having to go that way,
because you know, the thing about us communicating in this
way is she had never lived here either, so it

(01:27:38):
all sounds good while she's telling me what to do
from the house with the.

Speaker 7 (01:27:42):
Map from two years ago. It changed everything.

Speaker 45 (01:27:48):
You know, people say I would have loved to have
been a disciple and followed Jesus.

Speaker 5 (01:27:52):
I wouldn't back then.

Speaker 7 (01:27:55):
You wouldn't either.

Speaker 45 (01:27:57):
You know, you might have, you might eventually have loved,
but not in a moment. Because I want you to
think about this. They're in a remote place, they're healing people.
Who knows how long he's gonna keep doing this. It's
been three days, and he doesn't seem tired yet because
he's fully God.

Speaker 5 (01:28:20):
And now he.

Speaker 7 (01:28:22):
Pulls them to the side.

Speaker 45 (01:28:25):
And this is verse twenty two, because it's all really
well and good as long as he's doing the work.
But then he called the disciples to him and said,
I have compassion for these people.

Speaker 7 (01:28:36):
They've already been with me.

Speaker 45 (01:28:38):
Now that phrase been with me in the original language
of the Bible doesn't just mean they hung out.

Speaker 7 (01:28:43):
It means that they've been cleaving to me. They've been
staying with me. They've been hanging with me.

Speaker 45 (01:28:49):
They've been pulling on me, they've been pressing towards me,
they've been receiving from me.

Speaker 7 (01:28:55):
So touch somebody real quick and say stay with him.
Stay with him.

Speaker 45 (01:28:59):
You feel crippled in an area of your life, if
you feel lame in an area of your life, if
you feel blind in an area of your life, if
you feel like you're mute in an area of your life.
I got some good guidance for you. Stay with Jesus.
Good things happen when you stay with them. Good things
happen when you stay with him. And I don't think

(01:29:20):
it's a coincidence that they stayed three days. Read something
in the Bible about three days. I was just think
about that. It's really it's really wonderful to think about.
How you know this thing we say, where God guides,
he provides. Have you heard that one? Where God goides

(01:29:42):
he provides. I fully attest to that. I fully believe in.

Speaker 7 (01:29:49):
That my life.

Speaker 45 (01:29:55):
Is a trophy of the grace of God, that everywhere
He has led me, he has provided for me. I mean,
where God guides, he provides. But the thing that that
lean leaves out if you just put it on a
bumper sticker that where God guides, he provides. Is that
a lot of times we are guessing about where he's

(01:30:17):
guiding us. I know you don't want to admit it,
especially the men, because you don't want to.

Speaker 7 (01:30:26):
Admit you're lost. You rather drive in circles seven years.

Speaker 2 (01:30:33):
I'm not like that.

Speaker 7 (01:30:34):
I would call Holly, I would call her in a heartbeat.

Speaker 10 (01:30:36):
I didn't.

Speaker 45 (01:30:37):
I had a girl who could read a map, and
I was determined to tap into her full resources.

Speaker 7 (01:30:43):
There's no male ego on me. I don't want to
be lost. I'm too scared for that.

Speaker 45 (01:30:48):
And you know, if you get lost enough in your life,
you will humble yourself to the point where you say, well,
I don't normally like to ask for help.

Speaker 7 (01:30:56):
I don't like to admit I've never done this before.
I don't like to say I was wrong.

Speaker 45 (01:30:59):
I don't like to ask somebody that I need them
to show me in this area of my life. Sometimes
we just aren't hungry enough yet, lost enough yet. But
there's somebody in this room and you are, and you
are navigating, and not enough in your life in this
season that has brought you to the precipice, or although

(01:31:19):
you have pressed in to Jesus, you are in danger
of collapsing on the way. That's what Jesus said. I
don't want you to collapse along the way, and I've
got good news for you. The Bible says that Jesus
has compassion. If God gave you a new car, would

(01:31:40):
you praise them for it? Paid off nice one, fast one,
sexy one? Yeah, would you praise them for a new car?
If God paid off your house, would you praise them
for it? If God said I'm giving you my compassion,

(01:32:03):
There'd be nothing greater you could praise him for than
the compassion of a Christ who is fully god.

Speaker 7 (01:32:14):
Fully god enough to meet all of your needs.

Speaker 45 (01:32:18):
Fully God enough to stop a storm, fully God enough
to heal somebody who couldn't walk, and they go dancing out,
fully God enough that the one who couldn't speak left.

Speaker 7 (01:32:30):
Shouting, Fully God enough to do all of that, and
fully man.

Speaker 45 (01:32:34):
Enough that, after all is said and done, pull his
disciples to the side and say, I have compassion for
what they lack. I don't know if there's anybody in
here who's in religious rehab. You grew up with a
God who was waiting to crush you underneath the weight
of what you were not yet. But we meet at

(01:32:58):
Jesus in Matthew fifteen. Come on, get glad about it.
Who has compassion for what you lack? So the Lord
is my shepherd. I shall not want. That does not
mean I will never lack. But it means that in
every area where I lack, the Lord is faithful and

(01:33:21):
loyal to me, that he will never leave me in
my lack and turn a deaf ear to me when
I call him. Let's praise God.

Speaker 2 (01:33:30):
Not for a car, not for a house. That's fine,
I got a car, I.

Speaker 10 (01:33:34):
Got a house.

Speaker 7 (01:33:35):
But he has compassion.

Speaker 45 (01:33:38):
That he looks on my weakness with compassion, that he
looks on my lack with compassion.

Speaker 10 (01:33:48):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (01:33:48):
I just noticed that.

Speaker 7 (01:33:49):
This week.

Speaker 45 (01:33:50):
I noticed that Jesus said, I have compassion for these
people Verse thirty two. And the disciples answered the request
that Jesus made about feeding them with logic and calculation,
you know, like men often do, like men kind often does.

Speaker 7 (01:34:08):
Where can we get enough bread? There's no door dash
on my phone.

Speaker 2 (01:34:11):
We don't have an app.

Speaker 45 (01:34:12):
You know. Some people would say that Jesus is better
than a GPS, but I don't think he is, because
when you use a GPS, you get to select the destination.
But when you follow Christ, he will get you where

(01:34:32):
you need to go. He'll get you there.

Speaker 2 (01:34:36):
Turn by turn, step by step.

Speaker 7 (01:34:40):
He'll do better than reroute you.

Speaker 45 (01:34:43):
He will pick your big behind up and carry your
dead weight, if.

Speaker 87 (01:34:47):
That's what it takes. But one thing about this savior.
Imagine a GPS that you didn't.

Speaker 45 (01:34:59):
Get to tell it where you I want to end up.
That's Jesus. Peter's got this boat right. They're going all
around ministering to people. Uh and Peter's the one that's driving, okay,
But the one who is driving the boat doesn't get

(01:35:19):
to decide where it docks. I don't think you heard
what I just said, because I'm describing what a life
of following Christ feels like. Sometimes I'm driving this boat,
I'm living this life. I'm making decisions. I'm the one
having to make these moves. I'm the one having to
show up for these things. But ultimately I don't get

(01:35:42):
to decide where this boat docks.

Speaker 7 (01:35:47):
Jesus does, God does.

Speaker 45 (01:35:49):
Never it brings you great comfort, or if you're control freak,
it really starts to mess with you, especially when you
end up in a remote place. And Jesus starts healing people,
and he shows no signs of stopping, and he wants
the people to be fed, and he pulls the disciples

(01:36:10):
to the side and says, I have compassion for these people.
And the disciples answered verse thirty three, where could we
get enough bread in this remote place to feed such
a crowd? Now I need to slow this down and
we can study it. Go to verse thirty two again,
Jesus said I have compassion for these.

Speaker 7 (01:36:32):
What did he say?

Speaker 45 (01:36:35):
I have compassion for these people? What did Jesus call them?
Look at the disciples in verse thirty three? Where are
we going to get enough bread in this remote place
to feed such a It's all about how you see it.

(01:36:58):
The Disciples see crowds, Jesus sees people. The enemy has
been lying to you, telling you that the valley, the shadow,
and the enemies at the table represent the end for you.

Speaker 7 (01:37:14):
They don't. None of those things do for you.

Speaker 45 (01:37:17):
See there's a cast of characters in Psalm twenty three,
including a valley, a shadow, and enemies. Yay, though I
walk through the valley of the Shadow of death, I'll
fear no evil, for thou art with me. Thy rod
and staff they come from me. Aren't you glad? God

(01:37:39):
has a rod? The staff is how he brings me back.
The rod is how he keeps everything away that threatened
to devour me. I need both of those. So then
sometimes he'll use an event to bring me back to him.
Sometimes he'll use an event to keep a wolf away
from me. But his identity is the lens through which

(01:38:02):
I've view every event in my life, not the other
way around. Once I've decided he's the shepherd. That means
I'm settled in this and my cup is running over? Well,
where is the cup on the table? Where is the table?
We have this misconception that when we get through stuff,

(01:38:25):
it's going to get better. Now I'm going through right now,
but man, I can't wait for twenty twenty four. That's
gonna be my year. You've been saying that since nineteen
forty seven. Elvis had a number one song on the
chart the last time you said that. And then we

(01:38:48):
have this misconception, don't we that the adversity that we're
going through will prevent us from being blessed right now?
And I think that's the thing I really wanted to
put us. The core of this message is that it's
one thing to say, when I get through this, then
I will be happy hole successful reach there I will

(01:39:11):
be when I get through this, I will be at peace.

Speaker 7 (01:39:14):
Amount of money I'll be secured.

Speaker 53 (01:39:16):
And you won't.

Speaker 7 (01:39:18):
Because it's never there, he said out of their trial.

Speaker 45 (01:39:24):
In the midst of it welled up a rich generosity,
and David said, my cup runs over at the table,
in the presence of my enemies, in the shadow of
the valley of death. I want to walk through all

(01:39:46):
three of those very quickly. There are three symbols in
this text of adversity. Each of them represent adversity. Number
one is the valley. You're in the valley. You're going
through the valley you are going wing through.

Speaker 7 (01:40:00):
You will not live there. You will not live there,
you will not die there.

Speaker 9 (01:40:07):
You will not move your.

Speaker 45 (01:40:08):
Kids and grandkids into that spot in the valley.

Speaker 7 (01:40:12):
That's why you're going through it. They won't have to
go through it quite like you do.

Speaker 5 (01:40:19):
I believe my.

Speaker 45 (01:40:19):
Dad broke the spirit of side off of my life
by not killing himself because his dad did so. Number one,
it's a valley but I'm passing through. My friend Brandon
Lake was telling me a couple years ago.

Speaker 7 (01:40:33):
He just wrote a song. I said, was it good?
He said, that's just a song about the valley. I
said some advice.

Speaker 45 (01:40:38):
Said yeah, valley represents hard things in our life. I said,
Brandon Lake, you have to explain to me what a
valley represents in the Bible. You think I'm an idiot.
I went to cemetery seminary. I know about the valley. Well,
A valley is a metaphor in the Bible, and it
means anything we go through that we don' quite understand
the low moments in a motion.

Speaker 7 (01:40:56):
You said, oh, man, I don't know what the valley
is sim a song. I know what the valley is?
Do I really.

Speaker 45 (01:41:07):
Do?

Speaker 7 (01:41:08):
I really.

Speaker 45 (01:41:10):
Hadn't gone through what some of you gone through. Do
I really know the valley? Do I really know the Shepherd?
Until I've really known the valley? Can I really run
over until I go through and go through and walk through?

(01:41:34):
You don't get the cup full lying down? Did you
notice the whole sermon will be you don't get the
cup filled lying down? He said, He makes me lie
down in green pastures. But then I had to get
up and walk, and then he filled my cup.

Speaker 7 (01:41:50):
You will go through this.

Speaker 45 (01:41:52):
You will go through through seasons where you'll question your sanity.
You will go through through seasons where you quote train
up a child in the way that shouldgar when they're old,
they won't depart from it. And you will go through
seasons of thinking, well, they're not gonna get old because
I'm gonna kill them before they get old, and then
they're gonna depart from the earth.

Speaker 7 (01:42:11):
And you will. He said, there's a shadow in the valley,
the valley of the shadow of death.

Speaker 45 (01:42:20):
You won't always see yourself correctly, Jesus, correctly your situation
or your next step clearly. All these people that always
know everything God spoke all the time, check their medicine cabinet.
I'm gonna say stuff now, because you know what, when
you're really in a valley and people are very mountain

(01:42:40):
shouting cute stuff to you about it, and you're in
the shadows and people are under turning their iPhone light
trying to tell you stuff, the valley has a shadow,
and in that place, listen to me, child of God,
as you walk through that valley, as you move through
that shadow, he said, there's a table, and there's enemies,

(01:43:07):
and at this point you want to turn around, but
you shouldn't because that adversity, valley, that shadow valley, those enemies,
insecurities and things that you've been going through, whether they
were launched from hell or whether they came from your
own decisions, those things represented in this passage, that valley,

(01:43:29):
that shadow, those enemies, they.

Speaker 7 (01:43:34):
All represent adversity. But the Lord showed me something.

Speaker 45 (01:43:38):
He said, all of those adversities are advertisements. For there
to be a valley, there have to be two mountains.

(01:44:02):
For there to be a valley, there has to be
the mountain I came from, which is the last time
God did it for me, and the mountain He's taken
me to, which is my next testimony and my next
level of effectiveness. The valley is advertising the next mountain.

(01:44:27):
How about the shadow, which is advertising. For there to
be a shadow, there must be a sun. Since I
can't stare directly at the sun. When I see the shadow,
I assume that the sun is where it's supposed to

(01:44:51):
be and an object is blocking its path. So every
shadow in your life, every wicked thing in your life,
is proving the presence of a God's grace that is
greater than all your sin.

Speaker 7 (01:45:07):
The valley is telling you there's a mountain.

Speaker 9 (01:45:12):
The shadow is telling you.

Speaker 5 (01:45:14):
There's a sun.

Speaker 7 (01:45:15):
And when you see your enemies, look for a table.

Speaker 45 (01:45:20):
Because if there are enemies in your path this week,
that means this supper time, baby your enemies.

Speaker 7 (01:45:29):
Oh God, He's a very present help in the.

Speaker 10 (01:45:34):
Time of trouble.

Speaker 45 (01:45:35):
No weapon formed against me. I told you I wanted
to preach we'll prosper. So if I've got an enemy,
that means there's a table. If there's a table, that
means there's a cup. And if there's a cup, it's
about to overflow.

Speaker 7 (01:45:54):
I found somebody.

Speaker 16 (01:45:55):
I found somebody say, I'm running over.

Speaker 7 (01:46:00):
Can I get to this table?

Speaker 2 (01:46:01):
I'm running over.

Speaker 30 (01:46:03):
I gotta get to this miracle.

Speaker 5 (01:46:05):
I'm running over.

Speaker 45 (01:46:10):
I was scrolling the other day. I was watching something.
I showed it to my kids. I said, inn't that great?
They said, no, Dad, that's sponsored content.

Speaker 7 (01:46:18):
I said, what you mean sponsored?

Speaker 45 (01:46:19):
They said, right there, paid promotion. I said, no, this
is a good video for fitness. They said no, he's
trying to sell you a twelve week course for nine
hundred and ninety eight dollars and some protein powder. It's
an AD, I said, it's an AD. They said, yes,
it's an AD. That's not a class.

Speaker 7 (01:46:36):
That's an AD. He's just trying to get you. They
hide it. They put it there where you.

Speaker 45 (01:46:40):
Can't see it's an AD. Hide it, you'll know it's
an AD. The devil puts suff in a shadow and adversity,
d trial, a stubborn child, a breakup, a broken heart,

(01:47:07):
something that causes you to think you're going to lose
your mind. But you won't because the next time it happens,
you're gonna pray. God anoint my head with oil. Show
me how to see this in a different way. Everybody
puts your hands out like this. Put your hands out

(01:47:28):
like this, like you're ready to receive a running over blessing.
Like you're ready to receive a running over blessing. All right, now, pray, Lord,
fill my cop Well, the Lord said, before I can
fill your hands, I've got to fix your head.

Speaker 7 (01:47:47):
He anoints my head with oil so I can see.
Is this good to you?

Speaker 45 (01:47:56):
The next time is a valley moment in your life.
Next time it's a valley low in your emotion.

Speaker 88 (01:48:02):
The next time you go oh, oh, God, where's that
come from? Realize it's an adversity and it's an advertisement.
It means that this valley is pointing at another mountaintop
experience that you will stand on and see God's goodness
and proclaim his faithfulness to another generation.

Speaker 7 (01:48:27):
It's an ad The next time you see a shadow, realize.

Speaker 45 (01:48:33):
There could not be a shadow if there were not
a sun. So God, I thank you for the revelation
that is ahead of me. And the next time you
see enemies, get your napkin.

Speaker 7 (01:48:49):
You're a fork. This is the preachy side of the church.
I'm on the wrong side of the church.

Speaker 5 (01:48:56):
The next time.

Speaker 45 (01:48:58):
You see your enemy, the next time you see your adversary,
I want you to see an advertisement.

Speaker 7 (01:49:08):
That he would not be fighting you like this.

Speaker 6 (01:49:11):
He would not be fighting you.

Speaker 10 (01:49:12):
Oh yeah, we're gonna fight him.

Speaker 44 (01:49:14):
We're gonna fight him, because he wouldn't be fighting me
like this.

Speaker 5 (01:49:18):
He wouldn't be fighting you like this.

Speaker 2 (01:49:20):
He wouldn't be fighting The Lord is my supper.

Speaker 45 (01:49:27):
I so.

Speaker 7 (01:49:31):
Na one annoying her mind.

Speaker 45 (01:49:36):
Yeah, over here, over here, annoying her mind, annoying her mind,
annoying her mind. I don't understand the emotionalism. I'm not
going through anything. You better save this message on a bookmark.
You better put this message on a favorite us. The miracle,

(01:49:58):
The miracle. If you really look back on it, it's
not that I went through and then I was running over.
It's that I was running over while I went through.
And I don't know how, and I don't know how,

(01:50:19):
and I don't know why he did it. But I
want you to know about the grace God gave the
Macedonian Church. I want you to know about the grace
God gave me when I think about him and how
He got me through some of the things that looked
at the time like the adversary had me it was advertising.

(01:50:40):
How could I get you to see it?

Speaker 7 (01:50:42):
That's what it's a product placement.

Speaker 45 (01:50:46):
God wants you to know today that the thing you're
going through is pointing to what you're going to be
running over with.

Speaker 7 (01:50:54):
Oh God, Oh God, oh God.

Speaker 22 (01:51:00):
I need you.

Speaker 7 (01:51:02):
To fill me in the valley if I get through this,
No no, no, As I go through this.

Speaker 45 (01:51:14):
Right here, right now, and the presence of an adversary
does not mean the absence of the Lord.

Speaker 7 (01:51:27):
You just got to do it with anxious feelings yay.
Though I walk, you don't have to run. Your cup
will walk on.

Speaker 45 (01:51:45):
Second Corinthians four sixteen, give you the heart of my
message one more time.

Speaker 7 (01:51:51):
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are
wasting away.

Speaker 45 (01:52:00):
I'm not trying to talk about your wrinkles and saggy
this or that, or mine or either.

Speaker 7 (01:52:04):
But I'm going through. But inwardly we are being renewed
day by day, step by step.

Speaker 45 (01:52:22):
I see you walking in confidence this week that he's
with you, because the valley and the shadow and the
enemies all conspire to advertise one thing.

Speaker 2 (01:52:31):
He's with me.

Speaker 7 (01:52:34):
He's with me, and he is my shepherd. And if
he advertises himself as a good shepherd, there's got to
be grass. God is as advertised.

Speaker 45 (01:52:48):
If he advertises himself as water, there will be a rock.
God is as advertised. If he advertises himself as bread,
you will not go hungry. He is as advertised if
he said I'm the great, I am whatever you need
him to be.

Speaker 7 (01:53:05):
Is I'm running over. I know you can't see it
right now, but I'm running over. I know I can't
feel it all the time, but I'm running over.

Speaker 45 (01:53:15):
Might take my emotions a little while to get with
the program and catch up. But God says, I'm running over.
Now with your head bowt in your eyes. Close that
you've heard the message, I want you to say the
title again. See if it feels different. Say I'm going through.

Speaker 7 (01:53:33):
And I'm running over.

Speaker 4 (01:53:38):
Y'all know what time it is. It's time for me
to shake the spot.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
