Speaker 19 (09:46):
No matter what your lifestyle, end of life can be
surprisingly expensive. Even if you have other life insurance, there
are many expenses that may not be covered when you
are gone. It's one of those times when your family
may really need more protection, and most Americans don't realize
how affordable life insurance can be. Life insurance pays cash

(10:06):
to your beneficiaries to help your family with final expenses
as they cope with this transition. The Accelerated Death Benefit.
You can even request the proceeds of your policy up
to fifty thousand dollars while you are still living if
you are diagnosed with a terminal condition. Combined Insurance has
been protecting families and paying claims for nearly one hundred years.

(10:27):
Talk to a Combined Insurance agent about the benefit amount
that is right for you, because no matter your lifestyle,
being protected feels good.

Speaker 8 (10:48):
Y'all know what time it is is? Birthday time? That's right,
this is the part of the show. Well, I'd like
to give a shout out to all the people that
I have on birthdays this week. But before I do that,
let me just acknowledge my show sponsor, Combine Insurance.

Speaker 6 (11:08):
You just heard the commercial for the life insurance.

Speaker 8 (11:13):
They offer up to one hundred thousand dollars of whole
life insurance up to one hundred and fifty thousand dollars
worth of term life insurance and up to two hundred
thousand dollars worth of accidental death and dismemberment. For more
information on them, make sure that you go to my website,
Miss Jones Productions dot com, Forward Slash Partners.

Speaker 9 (11:37):
All right, y'all, let's go ahead and get to these birthdays.

Speaker 8 (11:39):
If you are in the clubhouse and it's your birthday
this week, or you know somebody that's having a birthday,
go ahead and put it in the chat and I
will give them a shout out. Well, today, it's the
birthday of Rappa Kanye West. He's turning forty eight.

Speaker 6 (11:56):
I don't know. Is he going through a divorce, because
they always say he is. I don't know.

Speaker 8 (12:01):
I read that he's supposed to be having to give
up half of his paper to his wife.

Speaker 6 (12:08):
That ain't a good birthday. Hopefully that ain't true.

Speaker 8 (12:10):
But I did also read that he is no longer
promoting hatred against Jews.

Speaker 6 (12:15):
So that's the thing. Thank you, Kanye. Let's keep it
that way now. I think you said that last time.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
All right.

Speaker 8 (12:21):

talk a little bit about him during the tea time too.

who's turning the Big three, as well as R and
B singer Georgia Smith who's turning twenty eight. On Thursday,

Speaker 8 (13:17):
Then on Friday, it's the birthday of R and B
singer and actor Luke James.

Speaker 6 (13:21):

Speaker 8 (13:26):

He's turning seventy nine. Whoa y'all know he fighting with
Eli Mush y'all.

Speaker 1 (13:38):

White House. He said that's he done. He said Donald
would not have won without him. He did not like
that big beautiful bill.

Speaker 8 (13:52):
So he is no longer a government advisor. So let's
see how all that play out. He better go ahead
and make sure he take care of Tesla. Are people
still buying them? I don't know anyhow. Trump shares his
birthday with Rappa Gunna, who's turning thirty two, as well
as actress Marla Gibbs.

Speaker 9 (14:14):
She is turning ninety for what a blessing.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Y'all know her.

Speaker 8 (14:17):
She's Florence from the Jeffersons, Moving on up and last,
but not least, it will also be the birthdaddy of
actor and comedian Face on Love On Saturday. He's turning
fifty seven. All right, let me go ahead and go
into the clubhouse. See if it's anybody's birthday in there.

Speaker 18 (14:35):
Now.

Speaker 6 (14:35):
I ain't got no birthdays in the clubhouse.

Speaker 8 (14:39):
So happy birthday to all of those celebrities and anybody
else that's having a birthday this week.

Speaker 6 (14:43):
Get on now, have some fun.

Speaker 8 (14:45):
Don't sit at home looking at the four walls unless
you got somebody to sit and look at those four
walls with you.

You're listening to the Me and Miss Jones Show. I'm
still your host, doctor Miss Jones, and it is time
to bring on my first guests. He is the pastor
of Lighthouse Church of God in Christ. I want you
to show a lot of love to Bishop Ronzell Pretlow.

Speaker 9 (20:21):
Hey, how are you today?

Speaker 18 (20:25):
Happy? My choice?

Speaker 6 (20:27):
I know that's right.

Speaker 8 (20:30):
Because your mantra is live life on purpose, so you
just better live life happy.

Speaker 18 (20:35):
Absolutely, I love it.

Speaker 9 (20:38):
Well, Happy Pentecosta Sunday.

Speaker 18 (20:43):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 7 (20:44):
This is a very exciting day for the church, and
I'm hoping that we get the purpose of it all
together today.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
Yes, it is more than just.

Speaker 7 (20:56):
Tambourines and wearing white and shouting. It is too staying
the gospel of the Kingdom, and so I'm excited about that.

Speaker 8 (21:03):
Yes, amen, So thank you so much for coming on.
I always like to tell everybody where I meet my guests.
So I just met you on social media, invited you,
and you accepted the invitation.

Speaker 6 (21:14):
So thank you for accepting.

Speaker 18 (21:17):
Yes, ma'am.

Speaker 8 (21:19):
So tell us a little bit about your journey to pastoring.
I know you've been pastoring since you were like twenty
two years old.

Speaker 18 (21:27):
Yes, I am forty seven.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
I've been pastoring for twenty four years.

Speaker 18 (21:34):
I started pastoring at twenty two years old.

Speaker 7 (21:38):
I was pastoring, took over the church from my father,
and I fulfilled that assignment for twenty four years, and
about a year ago I shifted to the Maryland area
and then it came my foundation. I'm a second generation preacher.
I probably had no choice in the matter.

Speaker 18 (21:59):
This is true.

Speaker 7 (22:00):
The Lifeguard shose for me. I didn't choose it like
he chose it for me and decided that this is
what I was going to do. So I agreed with
his choice.

Speaker 8 (22:09):
Had you agree, you concur absolutely, hey man, So your
gift was shown to the world through Carlton Pearson's a
ZEUSA conference.

Speaker 9 (22:21):
I remember that conference because.

Speaker 8 (22:23):
I think that's when we kind of got to know
Bishop td Jakes. I think why I need to buying them.
So that was definitely such an amazing conference. So that's awesome.
Rest in peace to to Carlton Pearson.

Speaker 7 (22:41):
Yes, everybody who was anybody in the Kingdom, primarily and
premierly came through the AZUSA conference. And I am grateful
to this day for Carlton Pearsons yes and this contribution.
Such a humble, kind spirit that he was, and I'm

(23:01):
grateful that he even chose me.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
Yes.

Speaker 8 (23:04):
Well, I am so excited to hear the words of
inspiration on this Pentecost Sunday. So I created this segment
so that people can get that word in because a
lot of times people don't make it into the church building.

Speaker 6 (23:17):
They've gotten so used to being at.

Speaker 8 (23:19):
Home and listening to it on the radio and YouTube
and all that good stuff.

Speaker 6 (23:25):
So what has God put on your heart for the
people today?

Speaker 7 (23:30):
Well, I am preaching this morning through services, I'm currently
on my way to church momentarily and my respective of
Pentecost Sunday. It is about second floor thinking. Second floor thinking.
Sometimes we can't go to the next level in our
lives because we stay stuck on the first floor. And

(23:53):
the Bible says that Jesus told them to go to
the upper room, and in order to go to the
upper for room, you have to climb the stairs. There's
no elevator, Jesus there there is only a second floor thinking.
But every individual has a responsibility to climb those stairs
and to make the journey themselves. And the older you get,

(24:17):
you should be participating in second floor talk, second floor conversations.
Second floor simply means a higher dimension or a deeper
depth or brevity of thought, of understanding of constitution. I
just don't have time, and we shouldn't have time for

(24:38):
just any kind of las fare conversation. We should be
talking about our investments, our health, our community efforts, and
those kinds of things that expand us as a not
just a Black community, but a Kingdom community. And so
a lot of times people don't participate in second floor conversation,

(24:58):
and that's really the hindrance to the when we stay
on the first floor, you preaching it.

Speaker 8 (25:04):
Ere my God, that's good stuff right there, second floor conversations.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
I love that.

Speaker 6 (25:13):
Who were going to keep that in the forefront of
my mind today? I love that. That's good stuff. That's
a nugget right there. That is a nugget. Heymen, thank
you so much for sharing that, yes, ma'am.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
All right.

Speaker 6 (25:30):
So I do have several prayer requests.

Speaker 8 (25:32):
If you are in the clubhouse and you have a
prayer request for the Man of God, go ahead and
put it in the chat, all right. So a lot
of people have passed away recently. So Wayne Lewis was
one of the founding members of the R and B
group A Lantic Star passed away on Thursday. He was
only sixty eight years old, and there has been no

(25:54):
cause of death revealed. Gospel legend Norman Hutchins passed away recently. Yeah,
God's got a blessing. Definitely one of the gospel icons.
Let me see who else love and hip hop Atlanta
star Kadella Lewis, they call her KD. She passed away recently.

(26:17):
So she was Young Jock's assistant and then became his girlfriend.
So no cause of death has been revealed for her
as well. And then Congressman Charles Rango passed away recently.
He was ninety four years old. Harlem native, served in
the House of Representatives for forty six years.

Speaker 6 (26:36):
That is a life of service Korea, Yes, Korean War
veteran founding member of the Congressional.

Speaker 8 (26:44):
Black Caucus, and the list goes on. I could just
read all about him. The list goes on. He was
one of the members of the Gango for they called him.
That was made up of him, Basil Patterson, Percy Sutton,
and Mayor David Dinkins. So he was known as the
Lion of Lenox Avenue. So he passed away recently and

(27:05):
if you want to go to his service, they are public.
So his wake is going to be tomorrow and Tuesday
at Saint Aloish's Church in Harlem from twelve to eight
pm each day.

Speaker 6 (27:17):
It's open to the public.

Speaker 8 (27:18):
And then his funeral is on Friday that's also open
to the public, and that's going to be at Saint
Patrick's Cathedral in Midtown, so make sure that you get
there early because you know it's going to be packed.

Speaker 6 (27:32):
And then my cousin also passed away. Her funeral was
on Friday.

Speaker 8 (27:37):
Her name was Santia McDonald, so she was my cousin,
Peachey's daughter. I went to school with Peachee, so she
passed away recently. So Peachee's definitely taking it very hard.
So we want to pray, of course at all of
those people knew Jesus, and then of course pray for
the comfort of their families. And then of course I
want you to pray for the show to me and

(27:58):
miss shown show, and as well as all the listeners
and anything else that God has put on your heart
to pray about.

Speaker 6 (28:07):
There's nothing in the chat today, amen.

Speaker 18 (28:12):
Amen, Okay, you ready?

Speaker 6 (28:15):
Yes, all right?

Speaker 18 (28:18):
Father, we first come to you, and we thank you
for your goodness and your mercy.

Speaker 7 (28:23):
It is because you, and by you, that all things
exist after the counsel of your own will. I'm praying
today for everyone who has lost somebody. I'm praying today
for everyone who may be morning on this beautiful Sunday.
I'm praying today that you would extend your hand of
grace and mercy. I pray that you lift up the

(28:44):
heads of them that may be in despair and let
them turn to you.

Speaker 18 (28:48):
Father.

Speaker 7 (28:49):
We thank you that Romans eight twenty eight says that
we know that all things work together for your good.

Speaker 18 (28:54):
I thank you even for.

Speaker 7 (28:56):
Missus Jones, Sister Jones, that does this show to reach
people to witness to counsel. I pray that you would
bless her, Yes, Lord, expand her efforts and cause great
favor to come upon her and everyone that is listening
under the sound of my voice. I pray your keeping, favor,
your power, your grace, your mercy, your abundance upon your people.

(29:19):
Make a clear distinction, God, in this very hour that
who belongs to you belongs to you, and who you
are going to favor, you will favor, lift the humble
and resist the proud. If Jesus might be named Amen.

Speaker 8 (29:34):
Amen, Amen, thank you so much for that anointed prayer.
All right, so let's just shift a little bit, so
you also sing. You got all kind of hits. It overflows,
and you are releasing your third album I Took the Stairs,

(29:54):
So it just goes right with your sermon to day. Absolutely,
Oh my God, everything is all next that upper room.
Taking the stairs.

Speaker 6 (30:03):
You know a lot of times people don't want to
take this here is. They want to take that elevator.
They want it quick.

Speaker 8 (30:09):
But some of those stairs are a little bit slower
than the elevator. So tell us a little bit about
your musical journey.

Speaker 7 (30:18):
Well, a lot of my musical prowess comes from my mother.
My mother is who I call the undiscovered Ella Fitzgerald.

Speaker 18 (30:28):
She was raised in the.

Speaker 7 (30:29):
Church and a lot of her vocal ability came just
from raw giftedness passed from her father and her bloodline,
who was an amazing guitar player. And I was the
child that got a lot of my mother's musical giftings.

Speaker 18 (30:48):
And so I discovered I could sing. When I was
fourteen years old.

Speaker 7 (30:52):
I sang at a school play and they had someone
to sing the national anthem, and they didn't show up
me to sing the national anthem, and I closed my
eyes really tight, and when I opened them, the whole
school was crying and teachers were applauded me, giving me
five dollars. And I just knew then that I had

(31:13):
a gift. And so I've been cultivating that gift for
forty for thirty four years. Wow, and here we are
all over the country, have done three albums, sing on
major stages all around the country, and of course all
of that is to the glory of God.

Speaker 6 (31:32):
Amen.

Speaker 8 (31:33):
So we're going to play your song that part. First
of all, I just love the title. That part is
so current.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (31:41):
So tell us about the song.

Speaker 18 (31:44):
Oh, that song is brought about by my daughter.

Speaker 7 (31:47):
I have a twenty year old daughter who is in
nursing school and she's about to graduate as a pediatric nurse.

Speaker 11 (31:54):
Oh.

Speaker 7 (31:55):
And I was preaching in church one time and everybody
was saying amen, and my daughter kept yelling out that part.
So this new generation doesn't really have the language in
context of King James. They actually speak their own language.
And I did it as an homage to my daughter

(32:18):
and as a love language to her, and as an
honor to her because I'm so proud of her. And
so she said that part, it's a story of my life.
The words are unexplainable shame, unexplainable thoughts, unexplainable pain. That's
what Sadan brought. But then God brought unexplainable love when
he grabbed my heart. And it says, I just can't

(32:39):
explain your love is that part? So that part is
about my daughter and about God's.

Speaker 18 (32:47):
Love for me.

Speaker 8 (32:48):
Amen, all right, let's go ahead and play it that
part by Bishop Ronzel Pretlow. Keep it like right here
to me and miss Jones, show with me, doctor, miss
Jones and the Bishop.

Speaker 21 (33:21):
Unexplainable shame, unexplainable faults, unexplainable pain, that's what's said. And good,

(33:45):
then unexplainable love. When you grab my home, I just
can explain hate me your mon is about that part. Oh,

(34:07):
it was love, unexplainable shame, unexplainablet thoughts.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
I don't explain about pain, That's.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
What said, and go.

Speaker 1 (34:33):
Then unexplainable love.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
When you grab my hoarme.

Speaker 23 (34:45):
Ah, that's hen sprain hay man, y'all love.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
That part.

Speaker 4 (34:57):
Don't explain about say, shame.

Speaker 21 (35:02):
A.

Speaker 5 (35:04):
Main of money, spain of a love.

Speaker 4 (35:07):
As on a flood.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
It splainable pain.

Speaker 23 (35:13):
To hold my that's why that's the same, ohstainable lord,
when you.

Speaker 4 (35:29):
Grabma touch my.

Speaker 21 (35:35):
Sax when't even tell me about it?

Speaker 4 (35:39):
You know your money.

Speaker 2 (35:48):
I had heard.

Speaker 4 (35:51):
So much, so so much, sid, I have pain, pain.

Speaker 13 (35:58):
Not to my road. I have.

Speaker 4 (36:04):
In my future, in my future her jure shore.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
For so Beauty happen.

Speaker 8 (36:16):
So so so my son had.

Speaker 24 (36:19):
Pain, pain not to my roles had in my future
in my future joy show so guilty for so.

Speaker 4 (36:36):
Beauty, I have sad but so so my son I
had pain not to my own nousond.

Speaker 24 (36:52):
In my future in my future capture show Beauties.

Speaker 6 (37:35):
That was amazing. I love that that part.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
I love it.

Speaker 6 (37:41):
It's so jazzy.

Speaker 18 (37:45):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 8 (37:47):
It's just smooth listening that part. So you are also
an author, so you have some several books. You have
a degree in psychology, so you have a lot of
books about you know, like mental health, you Real Emotional
Health one on one deliver Us from Crazy Love.

Speaker 1 (38:07):
I love that.

Speaker 7 (38:12):
That book is available on Amazon. Emotional Health one on
one deliver Us from Crazy I wrote that the Lord
inspired me. I did a my bachelors in psychology with
a focus on mental health. And we're just going through
a crisis, and I think we're over overly defining what

(38:36):
our trauma is. We're calling our trauma now what the
older generation, my mother and my grandmother just called natural growth.

Speaker 18 (38:46):
But because this generation wants everything.

Speaker 7 (38:48):
Easy, they don't want to go through growing pains, they
want growing games, they want a reward for every time
they grow. But growing pains means if you're being stretched,
if you're gaining muscle, if you're gaining any kind of stature,
your muscles are going to pain. Your emotional muscles are

(39:10):
going to hurt, They're going to stretch to levels.

Speaker 18 (39:12):
You've never been to before.

Speaker 7 (39:14):
So we are kind of over defining our pain, our trauma,
and those kind of things. It's really hurting this generation
because now we get to categorize things that you don't
want to pray for and pray about.

Speaker 8 (39:26):
So that is definitely much needed in our community, you know,
because a lot of times I feel like the Black
community and definitely the Christian community doesn't believe in therapy.
You know, sometimes you just need a little bit of
you need a few strategies. So thank you definitely for

(39:47):
sharing that book. And then you're working on your next book,
Emotional Ecosystems, Staying in your Spiritual Lane.

Speaker 7 (39:54):
Yes, ma'am, this will be my second book, Emotional Ecosystems.
I've been believe that all accidents happen because people don't
pay attention to lane changes and turn turn signals or
red lights and all of that. So in the spiritual
rend when you there's an ecosystem, the Bible says it's apostles, pastors, evangelists, teachers.

Speaker 18 (40:21):
And prophets.

Speaker 2 (40:22):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (40:22):
And so we have a tendency sometimes to want to
fulfill someone else's calling or someone else's duty. Jesus, this
is when the ecosystem of things get messed up. These
snowcaps in Australia affect the byous in Louisiana, and as
they melt, they actually send out water and more water systems.

(40:45):
So when ecosystems get messed up, when people start doing
what they're not supposed to do or what they're not
called to do, uh, it kind of distorts everything. Then
I get into how you know, government plays with weather
and storm and just trying to play guards. So I
think that we should leave the ecosystems alone, naturally and spiritually.

Speaker 8 (41:06):
Oh, you just be dropping nuggets. That's another nugget right there.
You know, one of my models in life is what
God has for me is for me. You better stay
in your own lane.

Speaker 18 (41:16):
That's right.

Speaker 9 (41:17):
Get the book. When when's the book coming out? When
is the book coming out?

Speaker 1 (41:23):
Oh, this book comes out this fall.

Speaker 9 (41:25):
Okay, Now, all right now, best seller right there.

Speaker 8 (41:29):
Well, go ahead and give everybody your social media information
and your website if you have one, so that they
can stay in touch with you and get your book.

Speaker 9 (42:03):

next guest.

Speaker 8 (48:32):
She is the CEO of the Rich Experience, a creative
collective company. I want you to show a lot of
love to Nicole mc swain.

Speaker 6 (48:44):
Hey, Hey, how are you?

Speaker 8 (48:48):
And I'm great, I am doing wonderful, awesome. Well, thank
you so much for coming on today. And I want
to say happy belated birthday to you. I know you
had a birthday the other day.

Speaker 15 (49:02):
I did, Thank you so much.

Speaker 6 (49:03):
Yes, what did you do to celebrate?

Speaker 28 (49:06):
Oh my gosh, I went I went to the I
had a birthday party, a brunch day day party, and
then I went to a to the spa.

Speaker 15 (49:15):
I had a spa day.

Speaker 6 (49:16):
Hey, okay, that's what I'm talking about. Is nothing wrong
with a spa.

Speaker 1 (49:21):
So what did you do?

Speaker 6 (49:21):
You got your nails done, face or what you get?

Speaker 28 (49:24):
I just did a massage and late laid down, did
the hot tubs and the steam rooms to be relaxing
mental health day.

Speaker 15 (49:35):
To see it like a reset.

Speaker 6 (49:38):
Yes, nothing wrong with that. I love it.

Speaker 8 (49:41):
So I always like to tell everybody where I meet
my guests. So I met you through Nikki's Sunshine, so
shout out to her.

Speaker 2 (49:50):
Yes, yes, And.

Speaker 8 (49:53):
Then I officially met you at your other brunch Filled
my Cup a few months go at Comedy in Harlem,
which I performed on.

Speaker 6 (50:04):
So thank you so much.

Speaker 8 (50:05):
We got another one coming up, which we're gonna talk
about in a few minutes. So you are the CEO
of the Rich Experience. First of all, I love that name,
the Rich Experience, because it's already like, okay, I already
know this is gonna be. You know, we're gonna have
a time, We're gonna have an experience, and it's gonna
be classy, upscale.

Speaker 9 (50:27):
So how did you how'd you come up with that name?
Like that is so dope?

Speaker 28 (50:32):
Ah man, So thank thank you for that, doctor, miss Jones.
So you know we hear rich, right, you automatically go
to classy, materialistic, you know, upscale, and you know always
you know wonder like what what does rich really mean?

Speaker 2 (50:50):
Right?

Speaker 28 (50:50):
And I always except comes from the inside. And so
my company is faith based. So rich stands for rich
and Christ himself.

Speaker 6 (50:57):
Amen.

Speaker 28 (50:58):
And so even if you mean I have some of
the things that people deem to be rich, you're you're
rich always because we're rich in Christ themself.

Speaker 1 (51:07):
Amen.

Speaker 15 (51:08):
So I create these experiences.

Speaker 6 (51:12):
And uh, with all of that in mind, with the joy,
the peace and love, the classiness, all of it. Yes, yes,
And you are passionate about reviving the community. So what
makes you so passionate?

Speaker 28 (51:27):
Just you know, growing up here. I'm from Jersey, growing
up here, and life is just so different now. And
and I tell the story a lot. I would would
travel just to kind just to get the community that
we used to have here.

Speaker 15 (51:43):
And and it's just traveling.

Speaker 28 (51:45):
It just doesn't work anymore. You're so busy, right, Like
traveling is a in a job in itself. So I
would travel and go places and always give New Orleans
as one of my greatest examples because their community is
so great. You go and you feel like you were
born and raised there. You know, the people treat you
so good and everyone's so connected. So I'm just like,

(52:06):
why can't we have this here? So I said, you know,
I got caught me to to.

Speaker 8 (52:11):
Do this, and.

Speaker 15 (52:14):
And I'm doing it.

Speaker 28 (52:16):
But I'm working with with a lot of other people
because I have a creative, collective company. So collectively, little
by little, we're bringing community back for experiences for.

Speaker 15 (52:28):
Everyone.

Speaker 28 (52:28):
I want to be inclusive of all different age groups too,
and different workforces, et cetera.

Speaker 8 (52:34):
So, yes, but you have a lot of amazing events,
like I know you had the head shot happy hour
for business women, So I love that that you reached
out to them and you know, helping women, and it
was free.

Speaker 6 (52:47):
Women could get free.

Speaker 9 (52:48):
Headshots, and we you know, being in the entertainment industry.

Speaker 6 (52:52):
You always need a headshot. Yeah it's like, okay, I
need a new headshot. It's like I've had this for
several years or you know, you have different looks and stuff.
So I thought that that was just a fun event
that you had.

Speaker 28 (53:04):
So yes, I do a lot of different things, a
lot of brunches. I do a lot of weekly events.
And the reason why I do that is because it
people come and r and remember they ha they you
see each other week over week and they may not
come that week. Every week is a lot, but when
they come back again to familiar faces, so people are

(53:25):
doing networking. I do a lot of Ladies' nights too,
where a lot of women can come in and network.
I do singles mixes too. I have another singles mixer
coming up soon, and just a lot of different stuff.
And I have a lot and then the comedy shows,
and I have a lot of other things coming up.
Just trying to be innovative, but doing things that people

(53:47):
in the community really want because when we going out,
you know people, I feel like, as an adult, right,
where's it to do?

Speaker 15 (53:55):
You go out to dinner, you go to eat or
have a cocktail, and then that's it.

Speaker 28 (53:59):
So I'm tryna free space where people know, Okay, I'm
gonna go here, I'm gonna have a singles mixer, I'm
gonna go here.

Speaker 15 (54:05):
I'm gonna have the first as a headshop.

Speaker 28 (54:07):
When I go to the Ladies night, I know it's
gonna be a bunch of ladies coming in after work
trying to just create the bobbage.

Speaker 1 (54:12):
So you know what to.

Speaker 28 (54:13):
Expect versus just walking into a place and you just
sitting there, maybe not talk to anyone, and you're like,
you know what, I could have stayed home for this.

Speaker 15 (54:19):
You know, you understand what I'm saying.

Speaker 8 (54:21):
Yes, get people up and moving. So you were at
the Swahili Village as well. Are you there every Sunday
for the R and B Brunch?

Speaker 15 (54:29):
Yes, I'm there every Sunday.

Speaker 28 (54:30):
That's downtown York, New Jersey, across from New Jersey Performing
Arts Center. I'm there every Sunday for Sunday Brunch and
it's a R and B day party.

Speaker 8 (54:41):
Yes, And I know you had one just specifically for
the first responders. I thought that was so beautiful to
have something for them.

Speaker 28 (54:48):
Yes, they were very appreciative of that too, they really well.

Speaker 8 (54:54):
We got another Filled my Cup, so we had the
one a few months ago. We got another one coming up.
First of all, I gotta say I love that name
as well, fill my Cup, because I'm like, you know,
there's a song fill my Cup, Let it overflow. So
it's like you know, spiritually, fill your cup, fill your
cup physically, gonna come up in here and eat and drink.

Speaker 6 (55:14):
And have a good time, you know what I mean.
So I love the name already, and then I love
that it's for fathers because I feel like father's getting neglected.

Speaker 8 (55:23):
You know, Mother's Day we make a big deal. We
take our moms out a lot of times. Fathers they
just get that tie, you get a pair of socks.

Speaker 6 (55:32):
You know, they got to share the whole month with
graduation and all kind of other stuff going on like
at the same time.

Speaker 8 (55:39):
So it's like there's not a lot of Father's Day
events as well. So I think that that's amazing that
you got this Father's Day brunch and clean comedy show
at Comedy in Harlem.

Speaker 9 (55:50):
So tell everybody about it.

Speaker 6 (01:06:42):
She's called the Queen of Philly.

Speaker 8 (01:06:44):
Aka the Madam of Comedy aka Phillies Queen of Hip
hop Comedy. I want you to show a lot of
love to comedian, actress, host and CEO Red Snapper.

Speaker 1 (01:06:59):
Hey, good day, doctor Jones.

Speaker 2 (01:07:05):
I got it right, she.

Speaker 8 (01:07:06):
Said, Miss doctor. Okay, girl, doctor, miss doctor, Miss Carrol.

Speaker 1 (01:07:13):
It's okay.

Speaker 6 (01:07:13):
You know when you got all these titles, is it bishop, first, reverend, doctor,
which one you know they did? Did just mix it up?

Speaker 5 (01:07:20):
Girl?

Speaker 6 (01:07:20):
It's just yes, I know.

Speaker 1 (01:07:25):
I think it was like last week or so when
you send me, you send me your all caps check,
like mate, sure, girl.

Speaker 8 (01:07:35):
Well see when we met, I was just miss Jones.
And since then, you know, her sister got her doctors
degree and everything. So I had to put the doctor somewhere.
I was like, where do I throw doctor at? Okay,
let's just stick it on the front.

Speaker 1 (01:07:49):
But that's that's amazing. The congratulations, thank you your doctor.

Speaker 6 (01:07:54):
And thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (01:07:55):
I appreciate it.

Speaker 8 (01:07:57):
Yes, so you got all these titles too, Now, girl,
you the Queen of Philly, the Madam of Comedy, Philly's
queend hip hop comedy. I would say we got queens
a hip hop comedy? What is hip hop comedy?

Speaker 2 (01:08:10):
Girl?

Speaker 1 (01:08:12):
Okay, well, I'm gonna start with the hip hop.

Speaker 6 (01:08:15):
Is that's my favorite one.

Speaker 16 (01:08:17):
And I actually got stamped with these names because of
of course, the comedy, my personality and what my surroundings,
and so the Queen.

Speaker 1 (01:08:30):
Of hip Hop Comedy. I got stamped with that by.

Speaker 16 (01:08:35):
Philadelphia's film director, Jimmy the Saint, and he was doing
a flyer or something.

Speaker 1 (01:08:44):
In that manner, and he he.

Speaker 16 (01:08:50):
He, he had labeled on the flyer, said Red Snapper,
The Queen Phillis Queen of hip Hop Comedy.

Speaker 1 (01:08:57):
And I was like, oh, that's not my name. You
got it wrong to see I'm really He.

Speaker 16 (01:09:02):
Was like no, he said, but listen, you do a
lot of events, you know, you you mostly around people
of hip hop.

Speaker 1 (01:09:10):
So I said, yeah, because hip hop is in my blood.
I used to you know, back in the day.

Speaker 6 (01:09:14):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:09:14):
So I said, you know, someone grew on me. It
grew on me.

Speaker 16 (01:09:18):
I said, you know what, He's right, I do be
around you know, the well known.

Speaker 1 (01:09:23):
Hip hop artistist.

Speaker 16 (01:09:25):
And it makes sense because I hosted a slew of
events and the hip hop community as well, not just
you know, with comedy and everything.

Speaker 1 (01:09:33):
Okay, so that was a name.

Speaker 25 (01:09:36):
Okay.

Speaker 8 (01:09:37):
So being that you're a rapper, you know you got
any nice clean gospel I caa poke code, Uh this
this this today that you could throw on down and
just you know, all music down.

Speaker 2 (01:09:50):
You know.

Speaker 16 (01:09:51):
Back then, when I was in my younger twenties. H
this was when I only got baptized once, I still
wasn't correct.

Speaker 6 (01:09:59):
Okay, so the things that I.

Speaker 16 (01:10:01):
Used to rap about are not fully and but you know,
but that's okay. And it's crazy because I remember when
me and my ex husband started going to church, even
though during those times.

Speaker 1 (01:10:16):
You honestly did write a clean rap, and I.

Speaker 16 (01:10:22):
Actually remember it is and the hook goes, you should
not be stressed, no reason or doubt. You should not
be stressed, no reason to doubt, just trusting God and
He'll figure it out.

Speaker 1 (01:10:35):
And it was like a little bop too, and the
people actually liked it, okay.

Speaker 16 (01:10:40):
But me, I think with my part even you know,
because I have that deep aggressive rasp me so, and
it's like, you know, I think my part was kind
of like good with.

Speaker 1 (01:10:53):
God or you know, they I did always a little aggressive.

Speaker 6 (01:10:57):
D m X you the female d m X.

Speaker 30 (01:11:00):
Yes, but.

Speaker 16 (01:11:03):
You know, I am a firm believer, you know, don't
you know, you know, don't get into us. I am
a firm believer because you know, God got me through
a lot of stuff, and he blessed me with the
gift of laughter.

Speaker 1 (01:11:16):
Yeah, you know, the gift to me.

Speaker 16 (01:11:18):
You know, people laugh with smiles on their faces again.
And it took me a while to accept that gift.

Speaker 1 (01:11:24):
Yes, yes, And once I accepted it, and I.

Speaker 16 (01:11:27):
Noticed that my comedy, even though it's I'm overall comedian,
which I'm working on doing clean comedy because I love
to be versatile. I found that it does really laughter
it's like therapy. So I didn't have people come up
to me and say, hey, you know I just lost
my sister or I just lost my cousin and I

(01:11:50):
seen you perform tonight.

Speaker 1 (01:11:51):
And I have been laughed in months.

Speaker 16 (01:11:53):
Yes, And you know, I was like, oh my god,
didn't know that this gift really has the impact on
people that's going through things.

Speaker 6 (01:12:02):
Yes, yes, laughter is medicine.

Speaker 1 (01:12:05):
It is.

Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
Yes.

Speaker 8 (01:12:06):
I remember right after the pandemic when people were just
you know, really getting back outside. I did this show
in Jersey on the rooftop and afterwards, this lady came
up to me and she said that, you know, she
lost a lot of people during COVID and she really
needed it, like it really helped her.

Speaker 6 (01:12:22):
So yeah, it's definitely again.

Speaker 1 (01:12:26):
It's definitely. And just this one more thing I was
approached about maybe a year ago.

Speaker 16 (01:12:31):
So, do you know a young lady reached out to
me to do comedy at her at a repast what so, Yeah,
it was different.

Speaker 1 (01:12:44):
I didn't I.

Speaker 16 (01:12:46):
Turned it down because I wasn't too sure. No one
never asked me to do that before.

Speaker 1 (01:12:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 16 (01:12:57):
So and I know, that's a lot of emotions in
one room. H And I explained to her, you know
why I didn't want to do it, and you know,
she was like, you know, snap, I just she said,
I just need your spirit.

Speaker 1 (01:13:10):
I just want to laugh, you know, I don't want
to feel no pain.

Speaker 16 (01:13:14):
And I was like, and that's when I realized, like, wow,
you know, this is like really a thing here, Like
when people are reaching out for you to do odd
you know, gigs or events, it's like, I don't I don't.

Speaker 1 (01:13:29):
Know if I should do a repass. But then I
started what I did do over the phone.

Speaker 16 (01:13:36):
I told her the type of things that I was
saying respectfully, but she was laughing at a storm.

Speaker 1 (01:13:41):
I said, okay, but I still turned down the job
because I don't know.

Speaker 8 (01:13:45):
I just yeah, that's kind of like who But you know,
people are having celebration, celebrations of life, you know, they're
doing different things.

Speaker 1 (01:13:53):
And then you know, I was saying little stuff like listen,
you know, respectfully, I want I don't want.

Speaker 16 (01:13:59):
I don't want no non tear her hair wig, you know,
hook me up with some you know, with the eighteen
inches down to the I was just saying little stuff
just to test her, just to see what she would
find funny, because even with that, that would have to
be clean. So I said, you know what, I keep
getting directed and doing some clean stuff or stuff that's

(01:14:22):
and maybe that's the gift that God is trying to
pull out of me.

Speaker 1 (01:14:26):
But I wasn't ready. I wasn't ready to do something
like that. I think that's a little bit too deep.

Speaker 6 (01:14:34):
So when did you start doing comedy?

Speaker 16 (01:14:37):
I started doing comedy.

Speaker 1 (01:14:38):
I'm gonna say by now.

Speaker 16 (01:14:40):
I have eight years and okay, And before the comedy, uh,
I did the poetry, and then I did the raft thing,
and then I hosted a few open mics for my
ex husband and and then you know, after we like

(01:15:00):
departed and everything. We was always good friends with with
comedian top Flight. Top Flight gave me my first opportunity
eight years ago to do comedy. They always mistaked me
for a comedian when I was just hosting, because I'm

(01:15:23):
the type of person that speak was only mind, and
they used to I used to be against it, to.

Speaker 1 (01:15:29):
Be honest, I used to be like, I'm not no comedian.

Speaker 6 (01:15:32):
I spit.

Speaker 1 (01:15:33):
I write poetry.

Speaker 16 (01:15:35):
And then that's funny that I think, like why was
I so against that, but I I always pay homage
to comedian top flight.

Speaker 1 (01:15:45):
I was nervous.

Speaker 16 (01:15:46):
He told me I could do three to five minutes,
and I definitely did three minutes and maybe a little bit.
And I never seen my I've never been on a
flyer before, and he put me under his way, let
me fly.

Speaker 6 (01:16:01):
That's good.

Speaker 8 (01:16:03):
Yeah, Well, it was definitely a pleasure meeting you at
Bob Sumner's show.

Speaker 6 (01:16:07):
I want to give a shout out to him. That's
how we met.

Speaker 8 (01:16:10):
I always like to tell everybody where I meet my guest.
So that was at Aruga's. Yes to him, Yes, shout
out to him. Shout out to Anaka, her husband when
they used to do comedy shows back then a few
years ago. So we've been keeping in touch, and I
was like, I have not had you on, so thank
you so much for accepting the invitation. So tell everybody,

(01:16:34):
tell everybody about your your talk show. You still have
that Chubby Chases Live.

Speaker 3 (01:16:39):
Yes, I know.

Speaker 16 (01:16:41):
I have a Yeah, it's called Chubby Chases Live talk
show and it's crazy because I know people with the podcast.

Speaker 1 (01:16:47):
I call it a talk show because my vision for
that is much bigger.

Speaker 16 (01:16:52):
So I'm you know, I believe it speaking stuff into assistance.
So Juby Chase's live talk show is basic. When I
first started it, when I was just like going around,
you know, every time I went out just interviewing people,
because I wanted to declare the stereotype of big women,

(01:17:14):
you know, all the stereotypes like big women. There's big
women staying big women. So I went around and just
started asking people questions about dating a bigger woman. What
they they you know, their preference. And there was some
people that was honest and you know, and then I
would kind of snap on them, but in a comical way.

Speaker 1 (01:17:35):
As the show.

Speaker 16 (01:17:38):
Grew over the years, I never really took it to
the point where I really made it a big thing,
and people kept coming to me like, you won't do
that again because it's kind of dope, but like the
questions that you ask. So I turned it more into
like not just interviewing people just asking about big women.
It was more so people of entertainment with you know, entrepreneurs,

(01:18:01):
you know, artistists of any kind of book, authors of
film directors, and turn into something a little bit more
serious because of the vision of.

Speaker 1 (01:18:12):
Of me, you know, having an actual talk show.

Speaker 16 (01:18:15):
At a at a at a at a at a
at a at a major TV station or something like.

Speaker 1 (01:18:22):
That, and it's pretty good. I'm I'm in season five
right now.

Speaker 6 (01:18:28):
Oh wow, season five.

Speaker 16 (01:18:30):
Yes, And it's been a few months since I have
been interviewing people because of my schedule with because I'm
in a lot of films now, so my schedule can
get really busy and I have to focus on that.
But the good thing about Chubby Chase's live talk show.

Speaker 1 (01:18:50):
I can travel with it. I will travel with it
and bring you know, my certain equipment, and you don't
just bring it to you.

Speaker 8 (01:18:58):
Okay, Well we are going to go to the tea
because we were running low on time.

Speaker 6 (01:19:04):
So you're ready to spill some tea with a sister?

Speaker 1 (01:19:06):
Oh sure, yeah, I got a couple of tea while
you got your cup.

Speaker 6 (01:19:10):
What kind of tea you drinking?

Speaker 1 (01:19:12):
I'm like, good, good tea.

Speaker 6 (01:19:15):
Okay, I can't get with the green. I'm like that,
don't look right.

Speaker 9 (01:19:19):
I like I like my little fruity teas.

Speaker 8 (01:19:22):
I got my little peach and my raspberry and mix
that up real good and put a little lemon juice
in it. But we got the holy tea around here,
so let's go ahead and get to some of these stories.
So Halle Berry, yes, she had a marriage proposal. So
her and her babe Vanna Hunt went on their first
joint interview with the Today's show Today with Jenna and Friends.
So Van Hunt said that he had popped the question

(01:19:44):
to her and she didn't officially say yes, so the
proposal was just out there floating. So she said that
she's been married three times and he's been married once
before and that they don't need marriage to validate their love,
she said, and she does plan to say I do
at some point.

Speaker 6 (01:20:03):
So what's your thoughts on that.

Speaker 16 (01:20:06):
I think that she honestly been through a lot with
marriages that was not uh successful, and she's really taken
baby steps and not jumping into a label. You know,
sometimes you can ruin things once you label it. And
I believe that she just on a hey, let's just flow.

(01:20:30):
Every day's going great and not yet. I mean, she
may still have some some things that she want to
clear with herself, and that's the most important thing too,
before you hop into something else, hopp into a relationship.
You know, you got some women that did that do relationship, relationship, relationship,

(01:20:50):
They don't Inland. They don't never take the time for
themselves to find themselves and set some boundaries.

Speaker 1 (01:20:58):
Is if not there far for the same thing over
and over. So I get it.

Speaker 8 (01:21:02):
Yeah, I didn't know if it was like a money
issue because I was like, I don't really know him.

Speaker 6 (01:21:07):
Who is Van Hunt?

Speaker 2 (01:21:09):
You know.

Speaker 8 (01:21:09):
I was like, you know, maybe because he makes so
much less than her, because she her net worth is
ninety million and his is two to three million. He's
a musician, songwriter, record producer. But then I was like, well,
let me look up some of her other husbands and see,
you know what theirs were. So David jeff that was
her first husband. His net worth he's he's a professional

(01:21:32):
baseball player. They were married for four years. His was
forty million. But she I don't think you know, she
was married him weigh in her twenty she had her
network probably won't up there back then. And Eric Beney
was her second husband, but he cheated. They were married
for a few years. His net worth is five million.
Olivier Martinez is a French actor. They were married for
a few years. His net worth is ten million. So

(01:21:55):
I mean she's used to dayton men that make way
less than her. So I guess that is that's not
the issue.

Speaker 1 (01:22:02):
I mean, maybe she in track one day.

Speaker 30 (01:22:05):
You know, I don't know why she She could be
scared because look at what you know, respect me, like
where Mary j go through a women that you know,
it's like the bread winner and then the husband's turn
around one to.

Speaker 1 (01:22:21):
You know, get spousal support. And Okay, she probably got
a little fear going there. Yes, you know what I'm saying.
So she's hold him back. True, she's being careful this
time around.

Speaker 8 (01:22:35):
Yeah, because you really don't know, Like did she have
to give some spousal support to Eric Beney?

Speaker 6 (01:22:41):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (01:22:41):
He's the one that cheated, So I don't know. I
don't know where this other guy, Olivier Martinez, you don't know, you.

Speaker 1 (01:22:49):
Know she Yeah, I've never heard of him, honestly, So
I just wish her the best. Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 8 (01:23:00):
Yeah, Okay, well let's talk about somebody that is seeking
some spousal support. Offset my god today, so he is
spiraling out of control. He deleted his social media account
after posting a warning after Stefon Diggs rocked matching braids
with his us with Cardi B's son. So I thought, oh,

(01:23:23):
you know, you know that I saw the picture of
the braids going to the side. But then when I
saw another picture, he had all the little diamonds and
stuff all up in the middle. I said, oh, they
did that on purpose. So Cardi B rapper Cardi B
is going through a divorce. She's married to Offset. She
gave him so many chances the man kept cheating on her.
So now she's dating the NFL player Stepan Diggs. So

(01:23:47):
he is an NFL player. They've been seeing at some
basketball games. They've been posted up on a yacht, posting
pictures and stuff. So now Offset he posted on social media.
He was like, somebody gonna die for playing.

Speaker 1 (01:24:03):
With his son. I'm not laughing about okay.

Speaker 8 (01:24:07):
And he said that that would end bad. So then
later he deleted the posts and he also deleted his
whole social media account. So Stefan Diggs posted a picture
of him catching a football on Instagram and the fans
interpret it as we goot over here.

Speaker 6 (01:24:22):
I caught her. So Cardi B Is saying Offset doesn't
spend time with his kids.

Speaker 9 (01:24:30):
And also, like I said, he's seeking spousal support. So
what's your thoughts on.

Speaker 16 (01:24:35):
That because she makes more money than him. Again, he well,
right now, I think all set is all the way
he off, he all off. He is so sorty because
it's only but so much you know you can do.
You know, women are emotional, So he been like cheating
on her, and you know eventually enough is enough, like

(01:24:58):
one of our songs, enough is enough. But when we
make a move, the men to the handle it. So
it's irritating his demons.

Speaker 30 (01:25:06):
It's it's you know, so he's.

Speaker 16 (01:25:08):
Gonna try anything to bring this woman down. I mean
now getting the same.

Speaker 1 (01:25:14):
Getting their son.

Speaker 16 (01:25:17):
They she got the hair braided like the guy. I
mean that it was petty but so har but you
can't threaten nobody life because they got the because the
braids is the same. He is really he he's really.

Speaker 1 (01:25:34):
He he mad, that's all. He big mad.

Speaker 16 (01:25:36):
And now that he's trying to go after her queens,
it just it just shows even more a lot of
people want to have their cake and eat it too.
His little son when a rabbit got the gun.

Speaker 8 (01:25:50):
Well, I tell you, my thing is, how are you
gonna seek spouse and support you cheated? First of all,
y'all would be together if you didn't cheat.

Speaker 1 (01:25:59):
I hate her.

Speaker 6 (01:25:59):
When the men want a woman to give him some money,
get out there and make a record. You got skills,
make your music. Hello somebody.

Speaker 16 (01:26:08):
And it's not like he's like, you know, it's rap career.
It's you know, he's a corny rapper. He can he
like I said, he's doing it out of spike. But
you know, usually when people do stuff out of spite
and usually backfire. So for instance, that even though he
made that post and threatened and made that threat, you
know that can be something back and backfire.

Speaker 1 (01:26:29):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 16 (01:26:29):
People really interrimudate themselves online now, Yes, and this Pierre
told him.

Speaker 1 (01:26:36):
To take that down.

Speaker 6 (01:26:37):
Yep, take him down, delete the entire accounts.

Speaker 1 (01:26:41):
Yes, just deleat yourself, like the.

Speaker 8 (01:26:45):
Stop looking, stop trolling because you're not gonna like what
you say. Okay, Cardi looking real happy right about.

Speaker 1 (01:26:53):
So she's a beautiful woman.

Speaker 6 (01:26:54):
She's beautiful you. Of course she gonna go get somebody else.
Look at Tianna Taylor, same thing.

Speaker 8 (01:26:58):
She got her new man. Of course they gonna get
somebody else. Y'all messed up. So yeah, all right, let's
get to the next story. So Malia Obama. She has
dropped her last name, so she decided she did not
want to go by Obama anymore.

Speaker 6 (01:27:14):
She's gone by Malia Ann. She wants to carve out
her own career path in Hollywood, so she's using her
first name in her middle name. For her latest film project,
it's called The Heart. It has aired at the Sundance
Film Festival. She is twenty six years old. What's your thoughts.

Speaker 1 (01:27:33):
Yeah, I've seen something on that earlier.

Speaker 16 (01:27:38):
I feel like because her parents understand, because she don't
want to be like under that name or have anything,
you know, to hinder any opportunities.

Speaker 1 (01:27:51):
So she wants to grow in the business on her own.

Speaker 16 (01:27:55):
She don't want to get I feel like she don't
want to get opportunities because she's all she's because she's Obama.

Speaker 1 (01:28:03):
Obama, I'm sorry, right, And I.

Speaker 16 (01:28:08):
I wouldn't have a problem with their honestly, it's not
like you know, they have a great relationship with their children,
and they raised two beautiful girls. So I like the
fact that they respected that Michelle didn't make a big bit.

Speaker 1 (01:28:21):
Out of it or Obama right, right, and they want
her to do well. They wanted to s see and
do you know what she likes to do?

Speaker 8 (01:28:28):
You know, yeah, both kids, Malia and Sasha said that
they want to feel like they earned stuff.

Speaker 6 (01:28:35):
I mean, you know, Sasha is not changing her name
or nothing, But I don't know.

Speaker 8 (01:28:40):
My thing is, I feel like, as black people, a
lot of times, we don't have, you know, a famous
last name. We ain't got family that got money. We
don't have no inheritance, we don't have a silver spoon
in our mouth. Like, let me have a name that
that that could help me, Mama, daddy that can you

(01:29:00):
know what I'm saying, Like a blue ivy, I'll be
right up there dancing and my mama was Beyonce.

Speaker 6 (01:29:04):
Yop, I'm dancing with her. You know what I'm saying, Like,
I don't see nothing wrong with it because they've been
doing it for a long time.

Speaker 1 (01:29:10):
Yep.

Speaker 8 (01:29:11):
Nepotism that all of that let me every way out.
I'll be doctor, miss doctor, miss Obama.

Speaker 1 (01:29:19):
I definitely carry that name. I'll be crying out yep,
that to get married. Listen, you guys, listen, I'm keeping
my name.

Speaker 6 (01:29:33):
Hello, somebody, you change your name? Hello, you changed?

Speaker 1 (01:29:37):
You change your name changed?

Speaker 6 (01:29:40):
I'm an Obama.

Speaker 1 (01:29:41):
He don't with me. That's that's that's pretty that's pretty cool. Over. Yeah,
I personally wouldn't if it was.

Speaker 6 (01:29:54):
All up in there, because the thing is, they already know.
We see your face, we know who you are. You
know what I mean, Malia Anne, we know you still.

Speaker 1 (01:30:04):
Yeah, that's that's what it's really. You know, it's not
going to make a.

Speaker 16 (01:30:11):
Difference better environmental Okay, she feelings though I did this
on my you know, you.

Speaker 1 (01:30:19):
Know, but you know the parent they still called the
shot stuff like you Obama, but kinda.

Speaker 6 (01:30:27):
Forever forever, forever, forever, forever and ever.

Speaker 1 (01:30:33):
That's beautiful dog.

Speaker 8 (01:30:34):
Yeah, congrats on Sundance. I'm just but you know her
her grandmother her name was Anne, so you know, homage
to her.

Speaker 1 (01:30:47):
Okay, yeah I did. I did not know that. I
was not aware.

Speaker 6 (01:30:50):
Yeah, you're still an Obama old girl. Okay, now if
you just change your entire name and you know, I
don't know anyhow, let's move on. You know, we got
to talk about Diddy, We got to talk. Can we
get around?

Speaker 8 (01:31:07):
It's been weeks and weeks of this trial, so I'm
just gonna try to catch everybody else because we didn't
spill no tea last week, So I'm gonna try to
catch y'all up on the last two weeks of the trial.
So just a few things that have happened. His former
assistant said that he threatened to kill her. Another one
of his exes said that he assaulted her sexually, He

(01:31:30):
threw her in the pool, slammed the.

Speaker 6 (01:31:32):
Door on her arm, and more. Let's see what else.
His ex Jane, I don't even know her real name,
they just calling her Jane, spoke of let me see,
oh I wrote.

Speaker 1 (01:31:44):
So sloppy Doe, Yes, Jane Doe.

Speaker 8 (01:31:47):
You know how when John Doe and Jane Doe when
they don't want to say the name. I don't know
how she got that privilege of not having to say
her name. And they're not even like drawing her. They
just kind of like drawing a little bit of her.
But anyway, she He spoke of sex marathons and having
so many I guess they're not calling them freak offfs.

Speaker 6 (01:32:05):
She didn't.

Speaker 8 (01:32:06):
They didn't call him freak offs, then they call him
sex marathons and having so many male sex workers. Another
witness said that he dangled her off a balcony. One
of the security guards from that hotel of footage the
leaked video of casts. He said that did he paid
one hundred thousand dollars for that to disappear? Did he
got in trouble in court for staring and nodding at

(01:32:29):
the jury. I don't know if he's trying to put
him in a trance or something.

Speaker 1 (01:32:32):
I don't know. But the jewy, the party child, you.

Speaker 6 (01:32:37):
Know, want none of that.

Speaker 8 (01:32:43):
How did judge The judge said you're gonna get kicked
out of the court room, that this is.

Speaker 1 (01:32:47):
His own trial.

Speaker 6 (01:32:48):
He said, you can't say watch your own trial. You
gonna get kicked out, sir. I'm just like really, because
he turned around and was, wow, how are you gonna
get kicked out of your own trial?

Speaker 1 (01:33:02):
Though? Yeah, I never heard of at that.

Speaker 6 (01:33:04):
I ain't never heard of at Do that makes sense?

Speaker 7 (01:33:08):
No?

Speaker 16 (01:33:09):
But uh, that would be like did you did you
see this? I know we're gonna get into it, but
did you see the sketches this?

Speaker 9 (01:33:18):
I saw some of the sketches, which one you talking about,
in particular, the.

Speaker 1 (01:33:21):
One the look whoever was drawing those pictures in the
for they.

Speaker 6 (01:33:25):
Look they need?

Speaker 1 (01:33:26):
He did not go to school?

Speaker 6 (01:33:30):
Who is dad?

Speaker 1 (01:33:31):
That ain't Dinny that ain't.

Speaker 16 (01:33:34):
I wanna unsee this because one of them they posted
that draw but his turned around.

Speaker 1 (01:33:39):
But it just I was like, oh my god, Yeah,
I just wanted to see that.

Speaker 6 (01:33:46):
Yeah, they need help on the on the drawing efforts.
They didn't go to school.

Speaker 1 (01:33:50):
I'm just did he is you already told you? Did
he need to get baptized in some holy oil? Yeah
he really does. Yeah, he get it.

Speaker 9 (01:34:06):
Whole different kind of oil. Get himself holy oil.

Speaker 1 (01:34:10):
You know what's plazy?

Speaker 16 (01:34:11):
I read about like you know, of course a lot
of people fear him and what he can do, but
it was really about his parents.

Speaker 1 (01:34:18):
His dad was really the gangster.

Speaker 6 (01:34:20):
I never heard nothing about his daddy.

Speaker 1 (01:34:23):
Oh yeah, his dad.

Speaker 16 (01:34:24):
People feared him, you know New York and New York
or whatever. His dad is a really big, really big name.
So he never was like against it.

Speaker 1 (01:34:34):
That's why they.

Speaker 16 (01:34:35):
Said, like the real like the real ods are the
real gangs. They really don't fear him or whatever. It's
just because of his parents. Like this, So he's like
untouchable because of his parents, because he gainst her. He
never appeared to me anywhere a little a little home
touched as far as like with the free stuff, of course.

(01:34:56):
I mean they it's my allegations about him for youonders
the years it's been expected ever, you know, ever since
you know, with Biggie Smalls and everything like that. So
do I Yeah, Diddy, I don't know about him now.

(01:35:17):
I never went to a Diddy party, but if I
was gonna.

Speaker 1 (01:35:23):
Bite it, that's good. I will probably go just to
see what's going on.

Speaker 6 (01:35:29):
I wouldn't research purposes.

Speaker 16 (01:35:31):
For research purpose, research purposes, I wouldn't juring in or
nothing like that or or you know, but I would
definitely go to.

Speaker 8 (01:35:40):
See what was what was going on research purposes. Leave
when when you know the first round leave okay, And you're.

Speaker 1 (01:35:47):
Like, yeah, yeah, I wouldn't drink anything, and I mean nothing,
because they.

Speaker 16 (01:35:52):
Say he keeps it hot in there because on top
of the pills or whatever they be doing in there,
he keeps the temperature so they can get high, so
they can, you know, want to just engaged with the
type of time that he's ready to go today.

Speaker 8 (01:36:08):
But you know, Cassie's drug dealer also testified that recently
you said that, yeah said that did he dangled her
over a balcony too. My thing is they got the
drug dealer testifying like, ain't you afraid that? Okay, what's
your what's your what's your occupation?

Speaker 1 (01:36:27):
Sir?

Speaker 6 (01:36:27):
Oh, I'm a truck dealer like Asia, you know, I
saw they can ride.

Speaker 9 (01:36:34):
I'm like, really, this is incredible witness here.

Speaker 1 (01:36:38):
Okay. I think everybody played a little part with these parties.

Speaker 16 (01:36:42):
I mean everybody want to claim everybody played a little
part of somehow, you know what I'm saying. And the
one thing that that was sad to me during this
drift thus far is you know, his children were said
they had to hear all that, the descriptions.

Speaker 6 (01:37:02):
But yeah, I do feel bad for the kids because
those girls, I think are in high school. So come on,
you know they got teased. You know they got teased.

Speaker 16 (01:37:13):
Yeah, It's like wow, and his son is going around
threatening people like people scared of him.

Speaker 1 (01:37:20):
I'll just be like, oh God, it's just too much.

Speaker 6 (01:37:23):
But you know, they talking about Trump made pardon him.
So that question was asked to Trump. You know, Trump
and did he know each other? Trump actually once called
Diddy a good friend and he is considering a part
and so Trump has pardoned a lot of people. He's
parting Lil Wayne before on.

Speaker 8 (01:37:40):
His first term for gun charges, part in Kodak black
on his first term for.

Speaker 6 (01:37:47):
A weapon chargers as well. NBA Young Boy just got
pardoned for webbing charges, and a lot of people with
these weapon charges, all the.

Speaker 8 (01:37:55):
Raffles, Todd and Julie, Chris Lee, there's some reality stars.
They got pardoned for tax evasion and swindling thirty six
million dollars out of a bank, all the January sixth rioters.
Of course, you know they all got parted. So Trump
has no problem pardoning folks. So do you think that
Trump will pardon Diddy?

Speaker 16 (01:38:17):
I think I do see something fifty I do see
something where he was saying that one time. I guess
that he may have said some things about him that
he didn't like or whatever. But of course, you know,
so it was like in a sense that he gotta
think about it.

Speaker 8 (01:38:37):
He gotta let the trial finish first week. I can't
do nothing right now in the middle of the trial.
But once that trial finish it he gets sentenced, I
can do something.

Speaker 1 (01:38:46):
Then.

Speaker 16 (01:38:47):
I wonder did Trump ever go to one of them parties,
because he always well, that would be crazy.

Speaker 6 (01:38:53):
Well, that wouldn't be funny if they'd be like okay,
your name is on the.

Speaker 16 (01:38:57):
List, or if his name popped up on that is
I was looking at the list, making sure my name
my god today, my god today.

Speaker 8 (01:39:05):
But you know, Cassie had her baby. Now, she was
big and pregnant when she testified a few weeks ago.
She just had her baby two weeks.

Speaker 16 (01:39:15):
I think Cassie from the text messages and congratulations to
out the baby and all that stuff, she it seemed
like she this is just so sir there.

Speaker 1 (01:39:27):
It just seemed like she was enjoying some of it too.

Speaker 16 (01:39:30):
I know, I know, remember when he paid her off
so quick, so she took it and still I thought,
once once you pay somebody off exactly in twenty four hours,
I ain't even know that she was still going to
test the power or anything, because I thought that that
was settled.

Speaker 6 (01:39:48):
Hello, somebody, I think you need to get that money back.

Speaker 1 (01:39:51):
I'm sad.

Speaker 16 (01:39:52):
It's something, it's something doing. It's still some type of
u something. There's type of relations I don't know. And
from the looks of her, her her husband, whoever he is.

Speaker 1 (01:40:08):
She probably know. I ain't say it. She might be bored.

Speaker 6 (01:40:15):
Well, she too normal now, she too normal. She don't
want to live a normal life.

Speaker 1 (01:40:21):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:40:24):
A good way. I don't know she's born now she's
like I missed that Diddy life.

Speaker 1 (01:40:30):
Well you don't what you really want to say, but
you don't.

Speaker 6 (01:40:33):
Well, all right, let's talk about the b e T Awards.
They are gonna be airing tomorrow live yes a p m.

Speaker 8 (01:40:45):
Eastern Standard Time on b e T. They are hosted
by funny man Kevin Hart. So you can still vote
for the Viewers Choice Awards at beet dot com. They're
gonna have a lot of great performers. Glory hallelujah. I
mean glorial, glorreala gonna be performing.

Speaker 6 (01:41:02):
Yeah, glow yes, get them glow, get them. Ice spice,
a lot of Lauren Hill. Maigan said, ice spice.

Speaker 2 (01:41:11):
You know why?

Speaker 6 (01:41:11):
Okay, Okay, you don't like her? No, no, no's for
ice spice. She hang out with Taylor, swipped too much.
I mean, what what's the problem here.

Speaker 1 (01:41:23):
For a minute, she was getting really thin and it
looked like she lost some spice. But it's okay.

Speaker 6 (01:41:27):

Speaker 6 (01:43:27):
That does not sound.

Speaker 2 (01:43:30):
If you have some.

Speaker 6 (01:43:33):
I don't know about no cornish hen.

Speaker 1 (01:43:37):
I'm excited about the Bee You award. Yes, Yes, I
can't wait to see what Kevin Hart got.

Speaker 6 (01:43:43):
To Oh that's gonna cut up. He gonna cut up
all day, you know that.

Speaker 1 (01:43:48):

all this.

Speaker 6 (01:43:53):
The performers.

Speaker 8 (01:43:54):
Yes, Laurie Hill making this day your money long, sexy
red shaboozy tile of Victoria money, Will Smith. I'm like,
he must got a new one coming out. Why'd you Marley,
Lil Wayne, Tianna Taylor, Playboy Cardi and Leon Thomas.

Speaker 6 (01:44:09):
All he got to do is singing that muth song.

Speaker 9 (01:44:10):
But anyhow, Yes, that's.

Speaker 6 (01:44:12):
Gonna be good. I'm sure he gonna bring Chris Brown

Speaker 1 (01:44:18):

Speaker 6 (01:44:37):
Straw Yeap with Taraji p Henson. We watched that last night.
That was a good movie.

Speaker 1 (01:44:42):
Y'all.

Speaker 8 (01:44:42):
Make sure y'all go ahead and support that. Get those
numbers up for that first weekend. It just came out
on Friday, very good.

Speaker 1 (01:44:48):
Watched it yesterday and when I say, I was on edge.

Speaker 6 (01:44:51):
Yeah the whole time I was trying to eat dinner.
I looked at it. I'm like, I ain't even finished eating.

Speaker 1 (01:44:56):
The whole movie was off.

Speaker 9 (01:44:59):
Watch only Edge on the Edge.

Speaker 16 (01:45:03):
It's going to have you on edge if you haven't
seen it. Yeah, you know, I ain't know what was
your next thing, because you know, I'm in a lot
of films as well.

Speaker 6 (01:45:12):
Okay, okay, you got some on edge films.

Speaker 16 (01:45:16):
Yes, one that just came out, I think it was
last week or so. It's on to be as of
now and is about to come up Prime video. It's
called Dear Mama.

Speaker 1 (01:45:27):
And the director. Her name is uh Tianna Brown. I
was so happy to be part of that project.

Speaker 16 (01:45:35):
The movie is basically I can't give too much because
I know, I'm not sure if anyone that's listening and
haven't seen the film yet, but it's a remarkable film
and it's basically based on, you know, real life situations,
decisions that people make, and how the justice system work,
and not only that, what you put your family through.

Speaker 9 (01:45:56):
I like the title, isn't that a Tupac song, Dear.

Speaker 1 (01:45:59):
Mama, Yeah, dear Mama.

Speaker 16 (01:46:02):
And I played one of the sisters. I play Vanessa.
I'm the baby sister and I'm the sister that keeps
it real.

Speaker 1 (01:46:10):
I know you do.

Speaker 16 (01:46:11):
And when I first got the script. Funny thing, when
I first got the script, I was like, it looked
like I'm the op. At first I wanna be, but
he knows best and that's all I can give. We're
actually having an event coming up on June the fourteenth.

(01:46:32):
We're doing a free screening of the film because it
was it was in the theaters as well, and we're
inviting out you like from thirteen and up to come
to attend. Is absolutely free. It's at the Lani Hill Recreation.
I'm center and everything is free from the food. We're

(01:46:52):
gonna have special guests, penniless and live performances, and it's
gonna be something great cause this is a film that
the youth really need to really need to see.

Speaker 1 (01:47:05):
Hopefully it can touch you know a few of them.
I've been, you know, been promoting it myself, encouraging. Like
what I do is I sit outside around when.

Speaker 16 (01:47:17):
School let out and I be seeing like a lot
of the teenagers walking from school.

Speaker 6 (01:47:21):
Uh huh.

Speaker 16 (01:47:22):
And I'd be like, hey, I introduced myself and I
give them, you know, the pamphlet thing and I let
them know who I am, and I tell them briefly
about the movie and just inviten them.

Speaker 1 (01:47:33):
Then you know, people right free, Yes they did it
was I say free free food. They like, oh I'm there.

Speaker 6 (01:47:39):
Oh yes, fool too, Oh my god, yes some food, yes, yes,
But it's definitely.

Speaker 1 (01:47:45):
It's definitely going to serve a purpose for the youth
and it's really a good film.

Speaker 16 (01:47:52):
So you guys just listening, you know, check it out
whenever you get a chance. I'm in a smower.

Speaker 1 (01:47:57):
Films comedy films, dope. If I want to check it out.

Speaker 16 (01:48:02):
They're all on tov is a film called Saturday Okay.
I played the main character. And there's another film called
y'all drawing.

Speaker 6 (01:48:11):
Okay, miss actress, we're gonna be seeing you get some awards.

Speaker 1 (01:48:16):
And you know it's crazy. I spoke this into assistance.
I'm doctor, miss Jones, I gotta write this time.

Speaker 4 (01:48:23):
I decide that.

Speaker 1 (01:48:26):
Look, I was trying to get some brownie point.

Speaker 9 (01:48:28):
She said, miss doctor. Y'all doctor, there you go, there
you go.

Speaker 2 (01:48:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 16 (01:48:35):
So I like the film industry, and like I said,
I spoke things like this is to to existence because
I knew I just didn't want to do stand up.

Speaker 1 (01:48:51):
Yeah. You know, it's just like real life. You just
got one job, that's one income.

Speaker 6 (01:48:57):
Multiple streams. Okay, that's right.

Speaker 1 (01:49:01):
So I'm basically overall entertainer because they.

Speaker 6 (01:49:06):
Do everything that's right. That's what's up.

Speaker 16 (01:49:10):
And I host, you know, different events, and of course
with the comedy, the only thing that I'm working on.

Speaker 1 (01:49:16):
Is the clean comedy.

Speaker 6 (01:49:17):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (01:49:19):
You might need some help with that.

Speaker 6 (01:49:20):
That way, I got you. I got your girl.

Speaker 8 (01:49:24):
Yes, But I want to remind everybody make sure they
watch b Et tomorrow night, eight o'clock. Usher is getting
a Lifetime Achievement Award, so we definitely, you know, he
gonna show out. I'm sure he gonna perform.

Speaker 1 (01:49:37):
And you wonder who's gonna Who's gonna perform some of
the songs.

Speaker 6 (01:49:40):
I don't know, but I know I want to see him.
He can dance.

Speaker 8 (01:49:44):
And then they got some Ultimate Icon Awards Mariah Carrey,
Jamie Fox, Snoop Dogg, and Kirk Franklin.

Speaker 6 (01:49:52):
Franklin you know he is, you know, he gonna be
moonwalking and everything else.

Speaker 1 (01:50:00):
To show off. Yes, I like Kurt Franklin man because
he is like you to himself.

Speaker 16 (01:50:08):
You know, it's like he hes a bomb. But they
said he's a bomb, like he he's amazing.

Speaker 1 (01:50:15):
Yes, so I can't.

Speaker 6 (01:50:18):
Yes.

Speaker 8 (01:50:19):
So BT is also going to be celebrating the twenty
fifth anniversary of one O six in Park with a
special tribute. So I actually auditioned for one O six
in Park when AG and Free left. I got to
the top the top few people. So I'm excited to
see this whole reboot. They're gonna be doing a reboot
in September, so I'm excited to see the tribute tomorrow night.

Speaker 6 (01:50:41):
So I'm definitely gonna be watching. You're gonna be watching, Yes,
I am.

Speaker 1 (01:50:46):
I can see you doing that too, perality.

Speaker 6 (01:50:49):
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 8 (01:50:50):
I got a little bit too excited though when I
was there, because they told me to stay in this
one spot, and you know, just do whatever you want,
you know whatever, like you do this levels to it.

Speaker 6 (01:51:01):
Like when you first go in there, they give you
the script. You do the script. It's like, okay, now
go upstairs.

Speaker 2 (01:51:05):
Whatever.

Speaker 8 (01:51:06):
So when I got in front of it, like the
big time producers and stuff, they was like, stay in
this spot, and I got excited. I thought I was
doing standing up. I was all over the place. I
was all up in their face doing this, telling jokes,
doing that, and they was laughing and everything. And then
I thought about it afterwards. I did not follow directions.

Speaker 9 (01:51:23):
I was supposed to stay in the spots, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 8 (01:51:26):
So I don't know if that was like a bad thing,
but like you know, they were feeling me, like they
were laughing and we were sitting there having a good time.

Speaker 6 (01:51:33):
But yeah, in retrospect, I wish I had followed directions.

Speaker 16 (01:51:39):
But you got a chance to be that was just
you being yourself. Yeah, And my thing is it's like
a Septlar rejected. Of course, directions.

Speaker 1 (01:51:50):
Directions is important. But I'm quite sure how many years
ago this was, well.

Speaker 6 (01:51:56):
That was like two thousand, I don't know, aid something
like that.

Speaker 18 (01:52:00):
It was.

Speaker 6 (01:52:01):
Yeah, that was a long time ago.

Speaker 1 (01:52:04):
But they're not bringing that back.

Speaker 6 (01:52:07):
No, they bringing this.

Speaker 8 (01:52:08):
They gotta reboot. It's coming to September. But it's gonna
be like online that It's gonna be totally different.

Speaker 1 (01:52:13):
Yeah, it's not like this is nothing like back in
the day when it was like live. Yeah, I think
they should do it like that, but they should.

Speaker 6 (01:52:21):
They should. We are so out of time. Red Snapper,
go ahead and give everybody your social media information, your
website if you have it, because I got to close
the show. Girl we could talk all of that.
