No matter what your lifestyle, end of life can be. Surprisingly,
even if you have other life insurance, there are many
expenses that may not be covered when you are gone.
It's one of those times when your family may really
need more protection, and most Americans don't realize how affordable
life insurance can be. Life insurance pays cash to your
(18:16):
beneficiaries to help your family with final expenses as they
cope with this transition the accelerated death Benefit. You can
even request the proceeds of your policy up to fifty
thousand dollars while you are still living if you are
diagnosed with a terminal condition. Combined Insurance has been protecting
families and paying claims for nearly one hundred years. Talk

Speaker 13 (32:47):
Yes, eye jail, eye jail's eye jels ie jail, I jail,
that's what you call it.
Speaker 14 (32:52):
I jail's eye jail. They'd be like, well, you know
why you say so.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
Many times I like that idea. They just run with that,
run with it.
Speaker 14 (32:59):
I'm telling you that I give some billion dollar ideals
on here.
Speaker 21 (33:02):
I do.
Speaker 13 (33:03):
I don't even I'm not even gonna be like, you know,
make me a partner. I'm giving you this for free
in the name of Jesus, you know, come back and
bless us so so something.
Speaker 16 (33:11):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 14 (33:13):
But that's it right there, That is it, right here.
Speaker 13 (33:17):
We come up with godly ideas purpose right here on
to me and miss Jones show. So I always like
to tell everybody where I meet my guests. I met
you online. We know some of the same people, We've
been some of the same places. Actually, your homegirl Manny
Robson was say, that's one of my favorite people.
Speaker 1 (33:38):
Okay to fight life.
Speaker 13 (33:41):
Yes, yes, shout out to her. Hey girl has she says,
you're gonna be listening.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
Hey.
Speaker 14 (33:47):
So yes, it was bound for us to meet.
Speaker 13 (33:49):
But I did reach out to you after seeing that
we know some of the same people, and I was like,
he would be such an amazing guest, So thank you
for accepting the imitation.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
And just to see when you reached out, I was like, wow,
I think I think I've made it.
Speaker 16 (34:11):
You made.
Speaker 14 (34:14):
Halloween, hallelujah.
Speaker 13 (34:16):
But let's go ahead and talk a little bit about
your journey, your musical journey. So I know that you
won this national talent search in two thousand and three
in Grenada, so congratulations on that.
Speaker 14 (34:28):
I won't actually how old you are you now? I'm curious.
I'm like where you did you grown? Okay? So you
was grown? Okay? All right? So was it kind of
like Star Search pretty much?
Speaker 26 (34:39):
That was there was this national competition the year before.
I think it's been it's been a while, so I'm
trying to think back on all day everything surroundling it.
But yes, it was a national competition and and I won.
Speaker 14 (34:57):
Told my congratulations, Now did you do? What song? Did
you sing or what?
Speaker 1 (35:03):
So?
Speaker 26 (35:04):
I have a song called He's There, and that's I
think that's one of my very first songs that I
put out there.
Speaker 1 (35:12):
And that song was a tremendous blessing to the people
in Grenada. You know that one song. Every way I
went to minister, I had to sing that song, even
if I went and I tried something else, because I
started getting like, Okay, I'm singing the song over and
over and over and over something new. If people were
like that one, that's the one we need to hear.
Speaker 26 (35:32):
He's there, And that was a song that that I've
seen transform a lot of people's lives, a song that
when the nation was in some sort of terror due
to like a hurricane, some natural disaster, it was one
of the go to songs that they would be playing
on the radio stations to bring hope back to the people.
Speaker 1 (35:52):
So it's basically like a Grenadian gym.
Speaker 13 (35:55):
It's a song like very well back home, I love it,
Okay you the star over there, come on now?
Speaker 14 (36:03):
When did you come to America?
Speaker 26 (36:07):
I was like back in two thousand of nine. Yeah,
back in two thousand of name. You know, at some
point in life you get to a point where you
feel like there's more O there in the world for you.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
Man.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
So I got to the United States of America.
Speaker 14 (36:22):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
But I always like to say I loved both.
Speaker 26 (36:27):
I love Grenada and I love the United States of America.
Speaker 14 (36:30):
Now tell me about Grenada. I have not been there.
Speaker 13 (36:33):
So it's in the West Indies. Is it like Jamaica,
It's in the Partner Is it like Jamaica?
Speaker 1 (36:42):
Yes, but better?
Speaker 14 (36:43):
Oh, oh my Jamaican blue As you're listening.
Speaker 26 (36:48):
So as I always liked to tell people, just just
think of whatever is your perception of.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
Heaven and multiply that by a thousand.
Speaker 14 (36:57):
Okay, now you got that blue water and everything.
Speaker 1 (37:02):
I'm not getting into a lot of troubles there this morning.
Speaker 14 (37:05):
You can't get in trouble. Do you speak pats while
you have PATOI?
Speaker 1 (37:10):
Well, So, Grenida is a very interesting place.
Speaker 26 (37:15):
It's called the Spice Island of the Caribbean because we
grow a lot of spices.
Speaker 1 (37:20):
We love megs and the cinnamon and everything.
Speaker 26 (37:24):
And it was a country that was ruled by the
British then the French, so we have sort of different
influences from various countries, so that sort of determined our accents.
So at some point the older folks were able to speak.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
Like the French pata.
Speaker 26 (37:42):
But what what they did is they kept it to
themselves so that they can gossip, so that the younger
kids to understand what they're say.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
So over time we were able to we lost that
language a little passed on. That's for these beautiful sunshine beaches.
You knew me, not your shoots.
Speaker 26 (38:06):
Always still keep backing Grenada. Organic it's not a word,
because everything is organic.
Speaker 14 (38:11):
Hello, just go on and pick up pick that mano
off the trade.
Speaker 1 (38:15):
Just go ahead right there.
Speaker 2 (38:18):
I love it.
Speaker 13 (38:18):
Well, you know what, maybe I can get moms to
visit Grenada because she's so stuck on Jamaica. She loves Jamaica,
so maybe I can be like, okay, but this it's similar.
Let's go to you know, Grenada, Let's go there.
Speaker 1 (38:31):
What do you think that does for the sauce?
Speaker 14 (38:35):
Okay? All right, oh okay, now all right, we're gonna
have to go there now this yeah, okay, as soon
as we start as soon as we start flying again.
Speaker 2 (38:50):
I don't know.
Speaker 14 (38:50):
We kind of on the ground right now.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
Okay.
Speaker 13 (38:55):
So your music is definitely affected by you being from
the West Indies. It's like a blend of worship, reggae,
Afro Caribbean and praise in your music.
Speaker 1 (39:07):
So I love it.
Speaker 14 (39:08):
Let's go ahead and play some of it. So tell
us about your single, No Weapon.
Speaker 1 (39:14):
So No Weapon is a song that I wrote on
my coach a couple of years ago.
Speaker 26 (39:19):
You know, sometimes in ministry you have from some runnings
with with people, and sometimes as artists we can be
very sensitive. People like this are just in diverse ways.
So No What is a song of reassurance when people
are going through something in life, to remind themselves that
(39:40):
God is always there for them and no matter what
the devil tries, that God is always going to be
on your side. And no matter what you thools out you,
God is your shield and your butler and your sifty.
So you have nothing to worry about.
Speaker 13 (39:53):
Amen, you better talk about it. You better preach. I've
been here being that you're a preacher. You know, I
didn't even know that you were a preacher.
Speaker 14 (40:00):
You call yourself the gospel music minister. I was like,
oh is he a minister. Oh he is a minister,
look at you.
Speaker 2 (40:08):
Ha ha ha.
Speaker 14 (40:10):
So you go all over minister and you go to
even the prisons.
Speaker 1 (40:14):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 26 (40:15):
Recently, our recent mo we were at at Rikers Island
with what we call the Music Church. It's a group
of artists, singers and ministers who came together to go
to Rikers Ireland just to fellowship to minister to and
with the inmix, well the local and inmates no more,
(40:38):
it's a new term and utilissam.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
I can't remember right now, but we had a good time.
Speaker 26 (40:43):
People were blessed and I just felt like a great
sense of focus and accomplishment because I felt like, you know,
we really did something for the kingdom that day, and
you could see the fix almost immediately.
Speaker 14 (40:56):
Amen.
Speaker 13 (40:56):
I used to actually teach in the prison. They call
the inmates then, so I'm going to ask her my
friends are still there, what they calling them now? I
think Diddy is an inmate. I'm just saying, I don't
know what r Kelly is an inmate. We're gonna talk
about both of them, ma'am, but it.
Speaker 14 (41:15):
End really okay interesting, Okay, all right, let's go ahead.
And play you something.
Speaker 13 (41:24):
No weapons, don't go anywhere, y'all keep it like right
here to the me and Miss Jones show with.
Speaker 14 (41:28):
Me, doctor Miss Jones and I jail Joseph. Did I
say it right? Did I say your name right? Look
at who Halloween you honey?
Speaker 2 (41:39):

Speaker 14 (41:49):

Speaker 9 (41:51):

Speaker 4 (41:56):

Speaker 6 (42:35):

Speaker 5 (42:46):
But I would be from sorry high.
Speaker 3 (42:50):
Swing high up, be on the sky. I'll be praising
little Jesus Christ because he's the only one in charge of.
Speaker 26 (42:59):

Speaker 6 (43:37):

Speaker 3 (43:38):
Yah is filled with praise O God, singing Hellelujah.
Speaker 6 (43:43):
Too many.
Speaker 11 (43:45):
You want the miracle for me.
Speaker 3 (43:49):
And everything on my adversaries, you visiting me a lord
neo ma teller and my shepherd. So when I read
the word and blend the blood principalities, the dumbing down

(44:13):

Speaker 6 (44:33):
But there will.
Speaker 3 (44:35):
Never prosper do away, I am more than I come.
Speaker 6 (44:40):

Speaker 11 (44:48):

Speaker 10 (44:54):

Speaker 3 (44:57):
Noways No you know it?
Speaker 14 (45:01):
Tell you even know why? No, no no way know it,

Speaker 3 (45:14):
No one formed against me shall prosper. We'll ever prosper.
No that one formed against me shall prosper. Noway, wet

Speaker 4 (45:35):

Speaker 4 (45:42):
Prosper go away like you're more than I can con.
Speaker 3 (45:50):
Jesus my saying your wet one's pay for margins me,
but there will never prosper wet one's pen.
Speaker 14 (46:26):
I love that.
Speaker 6 (46:30):
I love that.
Speaker 14 (46:31):
I jail. Yes, I'm telling you.
Speaker 13 (46:36):
You took us to the island. You took us to
the island. I felt like I was in Grenada. That's dope. Yes,
I felt like I was.
Speaker 14 (46:47):
Like a carnival. When I lived in London, I actually
got to be a part of carnival.
Speaker 13 (46:54):
And yeah, so that kind of felt like that, like
I want to be out, you know, in the parade
and just with my little aufent on, just be dancing.
Speaker 2 (47:04):
That was a good one.
Speaker 14 (47:05):
That was dope. So yes, thank you for sharing all
that good Grenada experience.
Speaker 1 (47:12):
Give me the opportunity.
Speaker 13 (47:14):
Yes, so you are working on a new project, a
highly anticipated album. Now tell us the name, because this
is another name that I was just like, I don't
know what this says. I don't want to mess it up. Okay,
I can try it. Ex Exogenesis is that right? Exagenesis
(47:34):
is that right? Exagenesis exa genesis? Tell us what that means?
Ex exa Jesus, exa Jesus. You like just confusing people.
Speaker 2 (47:49):
With these.
Speaker 14 (47:51):
Exa Jesus, like hallelujah, exo Jesus. I don't know what
it means. What does it mean?
Speaker 1 (47:58):
So well, how should I put it? I used to
be a teacher, I was.
Speaker 26 (48:06):
An English major, and I'm a little bit of a
language language person.
Speaker 1 (48:14):
Because you put it like that, I.
Speaker 26 (48:15):
Said, this is one of the theological terms that I
encountered a couple of years ago that sparked my interest. Right, So,
to exegute the world comes from ex to exegute exegesis,
So it really means like to dig deeper into something,
so as it applies to the this is applied now
to the scripture that we have the Bible, and we're
(48:36):
going to exegute the Bible, or we're going to do
all exegists of the Bible where we're.
Speaker 1 (48:40):
Going to go deeper into the Bible for a deeper meaning.
It basically means to serve for a deeper meaning.
Speaker 26 (48:48):
And the apologists, the people who do the apologetics, they
study every principle in the Bible so as to see
what God is really seeing in the scripture.
Speaker 1 (48:59):
So that's what this album is going to be based on.
Speaker 26 (49:01):
Liken get analysis of the diable, and we have analysis
of our lives.
Speaker 14 (49:07):
Like so you know you're going to have to explain
that every time or people are going to be googling.
Speaker 1 (49:13):
I love my life. I want somebody. It was like, man,
I think this turn is a little bit too handy
for people to earn grafts like that. But you know,
more than getting popular and everything, I want.
Speaker 26 (49:29):
To teach and I want people to learn. So it's
basically an album to make people sit and think, not
to reflect. So it's just like, oh, we are all
challenged now to final tu.
Speaker 1 (49:40):
I've never heard this word before. Let me look it up.
Speaker 26 (49:42):
But that's that's what I want from this brand. Okay,
you want to teach the world ex and go google
it and find the means.
Speaker 13 (49:49):
Okay, Now, well, you have a big event coming up
on July nineteenth in Brooklyn.
Speaker 14 (49:55):
Tell us about that.
Speaker 26 (49:57):
So since pandemic, I was not able to do my
own shows because for a number of years I've been
doing my own concert, the Glory Experience. So this prevent
is another another way of expressing my gifts and parents
and ministry and just when I get back to this,
to the to the glory experience level. So we're having
(50:20):
this concert where myself and Christopher Sims, the great Christopher
Prist this guy so much.
Speaker 1 (50:28):
His music is awesome, that great person. So he's going
to be there. I'm also going to be having a
young lady. She's nine years old. Her baby is j
Will alexis Josie and she's a child product product LG Right.
So he's going to be on the concert.
Speaker 26 (50:48):
She has been featured on the news singing, and she's
she has her own charity when she she helps out
the homeless and on the street and everything. And she
has an incredible talent. She even minister at the White
House on several occasions.
Speaker 1 (51:07):
Wow, she's going to be there.
Speaker 26 (51:09):
She's from Grenadia and bad gross and see all that.
A great things come from Grenada. Come on, there is
another wrong man for some reason that has led me
to open up this platform for younger people. This time
along there's another nine year old. His name is he
goes by the name of Argie. I want to minister
of his cheff. And he came up to me and said,
(51:30):
I'm a singer.
Speaker 2 (51:31):
Oh.
Speaker 26 (51:33):
I called him up on the stage with me, and
he did so well, and after speaking with his mom
and his pastor, we decided to have him on the
on the event as well. So I'm really looking forward
to seeing these two young people together with my friend
Mark Exclusive.
Speaker 1 (51:47):
We're going to be lifting up the name of Jesus
and I'm going to be singing so what the new songs?
So what the old? I want the book classic Igel
Joseph songs.
Speaker 26 (51:54):
And We're just going to be having a wonderful time
in Brooklyn, New York. So I'm inviting everybody to come
on over experience the beauty of Caribbean gospel music. Yes, yes,
I believe that the world needs to be wanted to
save a lot more because I think a lot of
times Caribbean gospel music just you know, get that little
(52:16):
mention here and there, But it's it's the music genre
of music that has really been blessed.
Speaker 13 (52:23):
Yes, yes, Now I'm trying to remember Chris Simms. Is
he's he's a friend to the show.
Speaker 14 (52:29):
Is he from Granada?
Speaker 26 (52:32):
Chris?
Speaker 2 (52:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (52:34):
Okay, I was like, he's just a brother that I
just wrote to and I love him so much. I
love his music, and but but you know what.
Speaker 2 (52:44):
I think.
Speaker 1 (52:45):
I'm going to make him an honorary Green.
Speaker 14 (52:47):
There you go.
Speaker 13 (52:47):
That's what you do, that's what you do. Yes, we
love Christopher Simms over here. He actually is on my
TV show that our hosts phrase to the night. We're
going to be having the episode come up soon. I'm
trying to think it might be this Friday coming up. Yes,
this Friday. Actually this Friday at eight o'clock, so I'll
(53:09):
be putting that flyer out. It's always the fourth Friday.
So yes, praise through the night. So that's gonna be coming.
Maybe you can come be on the show as well.
Speaker 1 (53:17):
Sure I would love to.
Speaker 14 (53:18):
Okay, sounds good.
Speaker 13 (53:19):
All right, So give everybody your social media information and
your website if you have on, so that they can
stay in touch with you.
Speaker 1 (53:26):
Okay.
Speaker 26 (53:27):
So I'm everywhere, all right, There's only one social media
and I'm my cat that.
Speaker 1 (53:34):
I'm everywhere else.
Speaker 26 (53:35):
After that, I'm on x formerly known as Twitter, I'm
on Instagram, I'm on Facebook, TikTok, and my name.
Speaker 1 (53:47):
There is I jil Joseph, I j E L Joseph.
Let me say that again. I j E E L Joseph,
and I'm everywhere. I you can enjoy me on I
said Instagram.
Speaker 13 (54:03):
I think I just give it all already, yes, and
easy to find, just put in the name, because there's
only one I jail, the one I'm only, that's right,
the one and only. So we're definitely gonna have to
bring you back for words of inspiration now. And we
know that you're a minister as well, so you can
preach this gospel.
Speaker 1 (54:21):
Yes, definitely, I would.
Speaker 26 (54:24):
I would love that, and I just look, I just
want to also encourage people to go there on on
YouTube subscribe like people the notifications.
Speaker 1 (54:33):
Well, I'm on Spotify everywhere, like you can find your music.
You can't find my music there as well, all.
Speaker 26 (54:40):
Right, and don't forget spun the world. Let everybody know, Hey,
listen to this guy from Grenida.
Speaker 13 (54:44):
Yes, yes, we're definitely going to go visit too. So
tell us about your single The Pursuit.
Speaker 1 (54:55):
So the Pursuit, all right?
Speaker 26 (54:58):
So this this song, this song means a whole lot
to me because I realized that with my music, games
are recurring metaphor, which is the road the journey I
think I've always seen of just like walking and always traveling.
And that song basically just on speaks of my desire
(55:19):
to follow after Christ. It's a journey. I've been serving
the Lord since I was very young. I actually to
Christ at the age of fifteen, and I haven't turned
back since.
Speaker 1 (55:30):
As you know, it's the.
Speaker 26 (55:31):
Road is bumpings made with hills and valleys, and only
by the help of God I was able to get
just far.
Speaker 1 (55:37):
Every time I felt down, people back up and put
me back on the path.
Speaker 26 (55:40):
So that song basically I'm a pilgrim on a journey,
you know, heaving towards Heaven, which is my ultimate gold
in life. At the ending of this race, that I
would reach the arms of my father, who says, well done.
Speaker 14 (55:54):
Come on now.
Speaker 13 (55:56):

Speaker 1 (01:03:03):

Speaker 14 (01:03:23):
Welcome back. You're listening to the Me and Miss Jones Show.
Speaker 13 (01:03:28):
I'm still your host, doctor Missus Jones, and it is
time to bring on my next guest.
Speaker 2 (01:03:35):
He is.
Speaker 14 (01:03:38):
An assistant pastor at City.
Speaker 13 (01:03:41):
Of Faith Church of God in Christ. I want you
to show a lot of love to elder Earl Rause.
Speaker 1 (01:03:52):
Hey, Hey, how are you, doctor miss Jones?
Speaker 14 (01:03:55):
I am good?
Speaker 16 (01:03:56):
How are you?
Speaker 1 (01:03:58):
I'm throwing wild can complaint?
Speaker 14 (01:04:00):
Amen? Amen?
Speaker 13 (01:04:02):
So you know you don't hear about a lot of
earls these days, like new earls, Like nobody's like you know,
young folks earls. But I met you and I was like, okay,
he's a earl. And then I'm like you named your
son Earl Junior.
Speaker 2 (01:04:16):
Right?
Speaker 1 (01:04:18):
Yes, you know that was a fight.
Speaker 13 (01:04:22):
Oh you had a fight with your wife. She was
like this, the Earl legacy is stopping here.
Speaker 1 (01:04:29):
Yes, but you know, you know, finally, I guess because
she loved.
Speaker 14 (01:04:32):
Me so much, you know, so they would not be
an earl the third You're right exactly.
Speaker 13 (01:04:43):
Yes, you know you got some of them names that
you know, you just you don't hear them no more,
you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 31 (01:04:50):
No, And it's because you know, earl is really you know,
you only hear that in English names, you know, like
Duke of Earl or you know what I'm saying somewhere
you know, not nature. But you know, I was actually
told that my mother named me after James Earl Jones,
the actor.
Speaker 14 (01:05:08):
Oh okay, okay, that makes sense. It's a strong name,
so you know it's you know, it's all right.
Speaker 1 (01:05:17):
But you're right though, you don't. You don't hear a
lot of people with that.
Speaker 31 (01:05:20):
You know, people used to make fun of me when
I was younger, and it's like, oh, your name sounds
like a cops name.
Speaker 13 (01:05:27):
Hilarious, that is so funny. Well, yeah, when we search
for people, I'm sure you know, not a lot of
Earls are gonna come up.
Speaker 14 (01:05:35):
So yeah, you are.
Speaker 1 (01:05:37):
Unique, Yes, yes, yes, absolutely.
Speaker 13 (01:05:41):
So I always like to tell everybody where I meet
my guests. So I met you not too long ago
at the podcast taping for Mandy roverson Uncle Rich and
Joy's podcast. I was the guest go host and you
were taping it. You were doing the video taping. That's
another one of your mini skills. Yes, yes, yes, shout
(01:06:04):
out to that, So shout out to all of them.
So tell us a little bit about your journey to ministry.
I know that you've been in the game a long
time preaching, and you got saved at an early age,
So tell us a little bit about that.
Speaker 1 (01:06:19):
Well, I.
Speaker 31 (01:06:23):
I've been in church since I was about seven years old, okay,
And it's actually.
Speaker 1 (01:06:30):
A funny story, and I always tell this story.
Speaker 31 (01:06:32):
You know, when I was young, I went to live
with my grandparents and one night my grandmother kept calling.
She was trying to call a store to see if
that particular store was opened, and for some reason, you.
Speaker 1 (01:06:49):
Know, God kept allowing her to dial.
Speaker 31 (01:06:53):
My pastor's number, and she kept saying to his wife, Oh,
it is this the store, and she kept saying, no,
this is not the store. My grandmother would hang up
the phone that she would, you know, back then we
had the rotar reform. We have the you know, dill
it and wait for it to come all the way
(01:07:14):
back the same number, over and over again, until finally
my pastor's wife said to her, no, this is not
this is I told you this is not the store.
And she said, what's your name? And she said, what
I want you to do? She said, I want you
to come to church on Sunday. And my my my
grandmother wrote the address down and it was literally about
(01:07:38):
five blocks away from our house. That Sunday, my grandmother,
you know, got up, got me up, and you know,
took us on to church, and you know that's where
you know what I'm saying, I grew up. So and
it's you know, God clearly had a call in all
(01:07:58):
my life because you know, if you let my pastor
tell her, you know, he said, I was a terror
when I was young, and you know, doctor miss Jones,
you know, I was so bad that I couldn't even
be in the children's Sunday school.
Speaker 1 (01:08:15):
They had to put me in the adults Sunday school.
Speaker 31 (01:08:20):
So almost like God just like just jumped me to
the head of the line and said, all right, I
need you to sit here.
Speaker 1 (01:08:26):
With the adults and not not with the children.
Speaker 13 (01:08:29):
There you go, come on, now, get that meat. Get
that me when's drinking no milk over here? You better
get that meat.
Speaker 30 (01:08:36):
Now.
Speaker 31 (01:08:37):
So you know, and so and I you know, every
so every Sunday I had to sit with the adults
while my pastor, you know what I'm saying, was teaching
you know what I'm saying Sunday school. And you know,
he didn't play. You know, he looked at me. He
was like, you're not going to act up.
Speaker 11 (01:08:53):
In this Christ.
Speaker 1 (01:08:54):
So I'm gonna need you to sit here and I'm
gonna need you to listen.
Speaker 14 (01:08:57):
Hilarious.
Speaker 31 (01:08:58):
So right, you know, but I I thank God because
you know, those those that are early foundations that are
saying that you know, helped me get to where.
Speaker 16 (01:09:06):
I am today.
Speaker 14 (01:09:08):
Yes, I love it.
Speaker 13 (01:09:09):
Well, I want you to do words of inspiration. So
I like to do this segment because a lot of
people don't go to church. You know, they just don't go.
They like to be home. They got used to being
in at during COVID, they just stayed so they listened
to church on the radio, on YouTube, you know, social media,
all that stuff.
Speaker 14 (01:09:28):
So what has God put on your heart for the
people today.
Speaker 1 (01:09:33):
Well, I wanted to, you know, just really quickly.
Speaker 31 (01:09:36):
I wanted to come from the Book of Philippians chapter four,
and if I have, that's just a small liberty to
use for a topic, you know, So just for the
people on today, it will be stay united, stay joyful,
and be prayerful. So we know that in the Book
(01:09:56):
of Philippians Chapter four, Verse one, you know, paulsed ourself
by saying, therefore, my beloved and going for a brother
and my joy and crown. So stand fast in the
Lord beloved. Now in the second verse, which is something
else gonna bless everybody.
Speaker 1 (01:10:15):
You know, there were two women, you know. He wrote
to her and Sancho.
Speaker 31 (01:10:22):
You know, he implored you know what I'm saying the people,
you know understand to pray for him because these particular
two women they were in conflict. Now he never said
what they were in conflict, you know what I'm saying about,
but only that we should pray. You know what I'm
saying for them. You know what I'm saying because you
know the devils the devils. You know, the plan is
(01:10:42):
solely is to do what to divide the people. You know,
the Bible tells us in the Book of Mark that
a house divided against itself.
Speaker 1 (01:10:49):
And can't stand. Hen further goes.
Speaker 31 (01:10:51):
Down to say that even if Satan rises up against
himself and he is divided, he cannot stand. So we
know that the devil folk can only can function when
there's chaos and there's no unity, because why the people
are our focus is drawn towards other things. And when
we're drawn towards things that are negative and not positive,
(01:11:15):
you know we can't be united. We can't be joyful,
and we're definitely you know, undersaying, not being you know,
unders saying prayerful. But if you go down to the
fourth verse, and this is gonna bless somebody, the fourth
verse says, what rejoice in the Lord always? And again
I say you known to saying rejoice Now. The fifth
verse says, let your gentlemness be known to all men
(01:11:37):
that the Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing,
but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving.
Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
Let your request be known unto God.
Speaker 31 (01:11:47):
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will
do what it will guard your hearts and your minds
through you, undersaying Christ Jesus.
Speaker 1 (01:11:56):
So no matter what it is. You understand that we're
going through it.
Speaker 31 (01:12:00):
We know right now we're in a supercharged you know
what I'm saying climate right now with everything that is
even going on. You understand over you know what I'm
saying in the Middle East. You know we even more
now in this season and in this time, we have
to stay stead fast. We have to rely you know
what I'm saying on God, because why he's the author
(01:12:22):
of the finisher. You know what I'm saying, our of
our faith. So we have to stay you know, understaying rooted,
you know what I'm saying, and grounded.
Speaker 1 (01:12:30):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 31 (01:12:31):
You know, in the world, I you know, I teach
Sunday School at my at my church. And one thing
I tell you know, the people in Sunday School, I said,
we have to remember something that nothing happens in the
earth except God allows it. So, you know, so even
though you know things look like they're falling, you know
(01:12:52):
what I'm saying apart, you know what I'm saying around us,
you know, if we just hold on. You know what
I'm saying to God's promises, you know what I'm saying,
that he will deliver us that He will set us free,
that he will make us hold whither will come through this?
Speaker 1 (01:13:07):
Now, this is the part that you know.
Speaker 31 (01:13:08):
And I always, you know, tell people this all of
the time. In verse eight, you know, Paul, you know
what I'm saying. Begins to close this out by saying, finally, brotherren,
whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things
are just, whatever things are pure, whatever.
Speaker 1 (01:13:25):
Things are lovely, whatever things are good.
Speaker 31 (01:13:28):
Report if there be any virtue, if there be any
thing praiseworthy, meditate on these things. Or another word to
meditate is to think on these things. That the things
which you learn and received and heard, and so in
me these do and the God of Peace will be
with you. So you know, and I tell people all
(01:13:51):
the time. Yes we're going to go through things. Yes
things are going to happen.
Speaker 10 (01:13:55):
I said.
Speaker 1 (01:13:56):
But the devil wants you to focus on the things
that you don't have.
Speaker 31 (01:14:00):
But if you focus on the things that God has
already done for you, the doors that He opened up
for you, the ways that He made for you. You know,
when you were down to your last dollar and it
seems like you weren't gonna have enough to feed your family,
but God made a way to multiply. Those are the
things you under saying you want to focus on and
you want to keep, you know, your heart and your
(01:14:22):
mind on that because if God made a way, then
why can't God make away now? So it's important, it's important,
you know what I'm saying, that we we framed you
know what I'm saying, our minds to always you know
what I'm saying day and night to try to meditate.
You know what I'm saying on the world of God
and understand that you know, the Bible says that you know,
(01:14:42):
God said I will never you under saying leave you,
nor for sakety. But we always have to understand that
God never told you you weren't going to go through anything.
You know, and trials and tribulations, you know what I'm saying,
They come you understaying to to to grow you. You know,
I oftentimes say, you know you, I can't stay at
the same level. So when it seems like things are
(01:15:03):
getting uncomfortable, you know what I'm saying for you. What're
just means, does God is stretching you because now He's
being ready to take you to another level?
Speaker 14 (01:15:11):
All right now? Amen, Well, thank you so much. For
that good word.
Speaker 16 (01:15:17):
All right.
Speaker 13 (01:15:17):
So if you are in the clubhouse and you have
a prayer request, go ahead and put it in the
chat so that the Man of God can pray for you.
Speaker 1 (01:15:26):
All right.
Speaker 14 (01:15:27):
I do have some prayer requests. A lot of stuff
has been going on.
Speaker 13 (01:15:30):
So former MTV VJ Ananda Lewis passed away recently, and
you know, this one hit different for me. She went
to Howard same time as me. You know, fellow Howard.
I used to watch her talk show. But you know,
it hit different me because she's young, you know what
I'm saying. Like you, a lot of times when it's
(01:15:52):
an older person that passed, it's like, okay, you know,
they had a full life.
Speaker 14 (01:15:56):
They lived a good life, but it's like you are
in your early fifties.
Speaker 1 (01:16:00):
You know.
Speaker 14 (01:16:00):
She passed away. She had breast cancer.
Speaker 13 (01:16:02):
So she found out that she had and she was
not one to get mammograms, and that's you know, women,
we got to get our mammograms. I know, you don't
like it, you know it hurts. She didn't like it
because she didn't want that radiation. So she wasn't getting
her mammograms. So she found out that she had stage
three breast cancer, and she decided to They wanted to
(01:16:27):
do a double misectomy, and she said no, she wanted
to do the natural way. And do you know, I
don't know exactly what she was doing, but she wanted
to get the tumor out on her own. So it
I don't know how to say the word masteticize something
like that.
Speaker 2 (01:16:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (01:16:44):
So and and then it turned into uh, stage four
and you know that's kind of like when people you know,
she was telling people about it, and she really regretted
that she didn't let them just go ahead and do
that and she she went that natural route because then
it was just like, you know, she had did an
(01:17:05):
open letter and everything. But you know, I just feel
for her, I feel for her family, you know, just
really it really bothered me like that that happened to her.
So another person that passed away recently was having a
Yarborough of Yarborough and People's.
Speaker 14 (01:17:23):
He was age seventy two. He passed away of heart disease.
Speaker 13 (01:17:28):
So that group was, you know, definitely famous for singing
together husband and wife team. They were discovered by Charlie Wilson.
And like you were saying already about the Middle East,
So Trump has injected the United States into the whole
Middle East. Yeah, they bombed, they did three, they bombed
(01:17:49):
three nuclear sites in Iran and they hopefully there's no retaliation,
but Iran has said there is going to be some retail.
Speaker 14 (01:18:00):
So we're going to talk a little bit more about
that during the tea.
Speaker 13 (01:18:04):
But you know, they thought that they were making some
nuclear weapons, so that's why he got involved. So of
course we want to pray for peace and that there's
no retaliation, and of course the people that pass away
knew Jesus, and of course comfort their family. I want
you to pray for the show that me and miss
Jones shall and all the listeners and let me go
into the chat. Hello, everybody, everybody speaking to me in
(01:18:26):
the chat. So there are no there are no prayer requests,
so you can go ahead and pray. If you have
anything that God has put on your heart, of course
you can pray for that as well.
Speaker 31 (01:18:37):
Okay, So, Grace's Father in Heaven, we come to you
as humble as we know how God reacts that you
color the Lewis family right now, Oh God, in their
time of sorrow, Oh God, we know that you are
able or God to send comfort and peace, Oh God,
and the name of Jesus, Oh God. Yeah, No, God,
(01:18:58):
we thank you for about the life of Amanda Louis.
So God, we thank you, oh God, for how for
the little bit of time that you allowed us to
have her, O God, that she was able to make
a meaningful impact on this world. And Oh God, we
thank you, Oh God, Oh God, Oh God, that you
would keep her family, Oh God, that they will remember
(01:19:21):
the good things about her, Oh God, Oh God, because
we know, O God, that it is better, Oh God,
to remember someone for how they lived rather than how
they died. So God, we asked that you continue to keep,
oh God, their hearts and their minds and perfect peace.
And now God, we asked that you continue, oh God,
to bless the doctor Miss Jones radio show. O God,
(01:19:43):
Oh God, that she will continue to reach people even
across this world, Oh God, and other nieces. Oh God,
Oh God, that she will continue to be that effective
vessel of God that you have created her to be.
You know, God, we do pray for peace, Oh God,
not just in the Middle West, so God, Oh God,
that every nation on the face of this earth, Oh God,
(01:20:05):
will begin to come together, Oh God, for you set
in your word, Oh God, let us come and reason together,
Oh God, Oh God. So, Oh God, help us, Oh God,
Oh God, help the politicians or God, the presidents of God,
whoever is the head of these countries, Oh God, help them,
Oh God, to stop leaning too their own understandings, Oh God.
(01:20:25):
But help them to look to you, Oh God, Oh God,
for counsel, O God, Oh God. On how, Oh God,
to achieve peace with one another? Go God, We know,
Oh God, Oh God, that you, oh God, are a
reward to those who diligently seek you, O God, Oh God.
So as we pray on one accord, Oh God, Oh God,
as we continue to be prayer for, Oh God, in
(01:20:48):
the name of Jesus, Oh God, that you will do,
Oh God, just what we ask you to do in
Jesus' name, we pray.
Speaker 1 (01:20:55):
Let us say.
Speaker 13 (01:20:56):
Amen, Amen, thank you so much for that anointed preyer.
So just tell everybody a little bit about all the other.
Speaker 14 (01:21:03):
Stuff that you do, because we're running out of time.
Speaker 13 (01:21:05):
I know you're a photographer, videographer, web design and graphic
design and all kind of stuff. So just tell everybody
you know briefly what you do so that they can,
you know, get some services from a brother.
Speaker 31 (01:21:18):
Yes, yes, so I so I originally I started out
as I started out doing you know, photography, and I
was actually doing this. And in high school, you know,
so this is before digital and miryorallest cameras. It was,
you know, when you still had the film cameras, okay,
and you know I kind of got away from it
(01:21:40):
because in high school, you know, I was playing basketball,
so you know, that became my priority and it was less.
Speaker 1 (01:21:47):
About taking pictures.
Speaker 31 (01:21:49):
It wasn't until I met my wife almost sixteen years
ago that I started taking pictures again. And she was
the one who really encouraged me, Oh, I should you know,
I should get back into it. And I was like,
but she was like no, she was like, you you
really have you know, a good eye. You should you know,
(01:22:11):
get back into it. So you know, I started off
and you know, it's like shooting again. And then when
I really was like, oh yeah, I forgot how much
I loved this, you know, doctor miss Jones, it seemed
like I couldn't book an ant, you know, but but
I always say, I thank god, I said, because you
(01:22:32):
know my wife. I took so many pictures of my
wife and that she was like, listen, we need to
find you some more people. Because she was like, I
can't be the only one that's you know, you keep
taking pictures up. But you know, as you know my
you know my skill, you know what I'm saying, it
began to grow and you know and developed. You know,
(01:22:53):
it wasn't until you know, the pandemic happened that you know,
I said to my if, I said, you know what,
I'm ready to start transitioning and to filmmaking and videoography.
Speaker 1 (01:23:07):
And so she was like, well, go ahead, you know
what I'm saying and do it.
Speaker 31 (01:23:11):
So, you know, since I had so much time on
my hands, I was able to enroll in Ryuta school.
I took a one year conservatory. Of course, you know
what I'm saying on filmmaking, you know, techniques and the history.
You know what I'm saying of You know what I'm
saying the film industry. You know, because one thing about me,
(01:23:34):
when I get involved in something like, I fully immersed myself,
you know what I'm saying in it.
Speaker 1 (01:23:40):
So I you know, just wanted to you know, keep going.
Speaker 31 (01:23:43):
And then you know I did that and everybody always
asked me, oh, Wall, where did you go to school
to learn web design and graphic design and everything else.
And I told them, I said, I didn't go to
school for anything that I learned. I said, what I
did was I sat down and I taught myself and
(01:24:04):
I practice and I liked it. I always like to say,
you know, I went to the School of the Holy
Ghosts well because the zoos, like God was just feeding me.
You know what I'm saying, all of you understanding these ideas,
and you know, I'm just grateful, you know what I'm
saying for everything. You know what I'm saying that God,
You know what I'm saying that it has done to
put me. You know what I'm saying in this position,
(01:24:25):
you know, to now that you know me and my wife,
we do have a business. It's called take your Pick
I'm Studio, which we do offer you know, photography services,
videography and we also you know now we just added
photo booth.
Speaker 1 (01:24:40):
And three sixty rentals, you under saying onto our model
as well.
Speaker 13 (01:24:44):
Nice, but you know people need that service because everybody's
having parties and then if you get with some of
the people that are entertainers, you always need a new headshot,
you know, Like I make the flyers for my show.
Oh and I'm like, okay, semia headshot. A lot of
people don't have professional headshots, so that service is definitely needed.
(01:25:09):
You don't just carry your camera around. Oh you're a
photography people, my guard you know, people need that.
Speaker 14 (01:25:16):
I'm telling you. People don't have professionals, you know.
Speaker 1 (01:25:19):

Speaker 31 (01:25:22):
I do a lot of work with a lot of
churches as far as our sound and video installations and

Speaker 13 (01:32:20):
Do they think that you are in New York since
it's n why for nine everybody does?
Speaker 16 (01:32:26):
Okay, just think just think of New York. Yes, something
like that.
Speaker 13 (01:32:31):
Yes, because even when I was looking you up on
social media, it was pulling up maps and and and
and all kinds of our states and stuff.
Speaker 14 (01:32:40):
I was say, nine more, nine more?
Speaker 2 (01:32:42):
Where is it?
Speaker 14 (01:32:43):
I couldn't even find you.
Speaker 30 (01:32:45):
Oh wow, yeah, it's one of it's one and the
only babies.
Speaker 13 (01:32:49):
Yeah, I couldn't find you. What's your what is your handles?
I mean I usually ask people later, but I couldn't
find you.
Speaker 30 (01:32:55):
So it's I'm orthodox author docs underscore nine. So that's
on Instagram. What the docs underscore nine? You'll find me
and then you can get on my platforms.
Speaker 14 (01:33:08):
Oh yeah, that's why I couldn't find you. I was
looking for nine more. I'm like, where where you at?
Speaker 16 (01:33:14):
All? Right?
Speaker 13 (01:33:15):
So yeah, yeah, maybe you should just change it to
nine more because I don't know I'm working on that.
Speaker 14 (01:33:23):
I was unorthodi I could find.
Speaker 6 (01:33:27):
I was like, where is she at?
Speaker 14 (01:33:28):
Where she know you met together? Where she ever?
Speaker 16 (01:33:32):
Y'all pray for me?
Speaker 13 (01:33:33):
Okay, so you're from New York. I hope you're from
New York No, no, okay, okay, but so your mom
decided to name you nine like New York instead of NJ.
Speaker 14 (01:33:48):
I don't know anyhow. I'm yas my mother.
Speaker 16 (01:33:51):
Yeah, that's the eighties. I'm an eighties baby. Okay, you
never know.
Speaker 14 (01:33:55):
Okay.
Speaker 13 (01:33:56):
Now, I always like to tell people where I meet
my guests, but I don't even remember where we met
in me.
Speaker 6 (01:34:00):
You remember, so.
Speaker 13 (01:34:04):
Tina Graham did a clean comedy gym. It was in Elizabeth,
New Jersey, yes, ma'am, and I and I showed up.
Speaker 16 (01:34:11):
And I was me. I showed up with my role on.
I came with some ugs loon and one of my
good minding and I performed.
Speaker 13 (01:34:18):
Yes, ma'am, Yes, ma'am, Yes, you performing in your robe
and your bonnet? Now, said you when you tell jokes
about all of that, because I'm trying to remember because
it's been some months.
Speaker 30 (01:34:29):
Also, I had they, So basically, I just let y'all
know how I got into comedy. It was like three
years ago. My medicaid got cut off and I was
on him. You know, at the time, I was in therapy.
I'll be going through some stuff, you know what I'm saying.
So they stut my medicaid off. I said, I gotta
do something else, something some got to give. So I
work in healthcare. And one of my residents' family members
(01:34:51):
was a comedian and he just got me on stage,
let me open up for him in Upstate New York.
And I got on stage and fell in love.
Speaker 1 (01:34:58):
And that was that.
Speaker 16 (01:34:59):
I said, I don't need to medicaid. I found therapy
and it's free. Okay, ha ha.
Speaker 13 (01:35:05):
Well, you also have such an amazing testimony. I don't
know if you want to share a little bit of it.
Speaker 3 (01:35:12):
Uh.
Speaker 30 (01:35:12):
Yeah, you know, just growing up in an inner city,
young girl, struggling, lost both of my parents, had a
child at a very early age, was on my own
at a very early age. I had to make my
way through life, and life was rough for me. Life
was rough, and so I had to find an outlet.
And my outlet was music and laughter. And that's what
(01:35:32):
I stepped to and that's what God has blessed me with.
And that's those are my gifts and I'm just going
to share them with the world.
Speaker 14 (01:35:39):
Hey man, you are a strong person.
Speaker 13 (01:35:41):
Yes, so you said, you just were telling me before
you came on that you sent me one of your songs,
and I did not get it. So why don't you
do a little bit of Acapolco today and just blessed
us with a little bit of us of your voice.
Speaker 30 (01:35:58):
Okay, So I have a new single coming out. It's
called Return and Center. It's actually it's gonna be everywhere,
so you'll be able to see it on YouTube first.
Speaker 16 (01:36:07):
And then you be able to get it on Spotify
and all those other good platforms.
Speaker 30 (01:36:12):
It's just a little bit, so it's just talking about
it's just a testament to you know, God changing and
coming into.
Speaker 16 (01:36:19):
My life and changing me and how I'm gonna be different.
So it goes a little bit.
Speaker 30 (01:36:23):
I don't know if the ready was clear because I'm
kind of losing bit of my perception. I don't know
the weather's jacking up. But it goes just a little bit.
Speaker 16 (01:36:32):
And I'm so grateful the present other righteous enough for
for sake, k all, I can say, Nord, I'm grateful.
I'm so That's why I give them all of my phrases.
(01:36:55):
I'm not at the same place as before.
Speaker 30 (01:36:57):
If you try to send me a letter, it's coming back.
Speaker 13 (01:37:00):
Return to Cender, all right, Return to Cender, Return to
sind that we're gonna send it back to you. Okay,
no thank of you, No thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:37:21):
I like that.
Speaker 13 (01:37:21):
I like, yes, return to sender. All right, Well, let's
go ahead and get into this tea. I normally go
to a commercial break, but for sake of time and
we end for sake of all these stories and all
this good old tea we got today, I'm gonna just
go ahead. Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and just you know,
go ahead and spill this tea. What kind of tea
you normally drink? I want all the tea you like,
(01:37:45):
all the tea, hot tea, cold tea, everything. I like
a little fruity tea. I like a little raspberry and peach,
you know. So that's that's that's what I've been drinking
these days with a little lemon juice.
Speaker 16 (01:37:57):
So I had that let's go for the thought.
Speaker 30 (01:38:01):
System.
Speaker 13 (01:38:02):
Yes, so we spilled holy tea around here. So that's
the kind of tea we're gonna be drinking today. So
we started off talking a little bit when the Preacher
was on, and we prayed about Trump bombing Iran. So
I just want to get a little bit more into
that story. So we found out about this yesterday that
he bombed Iran. Three nuclear sites were bombed. They were
(01:38:26):
called Asfanya, Natons and UH for div I believe those
are the names for FORDV or for Donald. I'm I
can't even read my little sloppy writing, but anyway, he
bombed those three places. So basically he has joined Israel's
campaign to dismantle Iran's nuclear program. So basically they're saying
(01:38:47):
that Iran was making nuclear weapons. So now he's saying
that he wants Iran to make peace. So what are
your thoughts because Iran has said that they are going
to be retaliating.
Speaker 14 (01:39:02):
What's your thoughts.
Speaker 16 (01:39:05):
Well, at this point, I was I was listening to
it a little bit myself. I'm scared. I'm scared because
we basically we at war again. We have war, and
all I do I'm gonna be so honest.
Speaker 30 (01:39:18):
I'm not in the politics, but this really, like this
shook me because they were saying the Prime Minister I
believe till it's mine said I believe twenty seven they
said twenty seven years plus, I'm an alliance with us,
with the US, and for Trump to do what he did,
I just got super scared and I just was like,
(01:39:39):
you know what, I immediately started praying.
Speaker 16 (01:39:41):
That's all I can do At this point.
Speaker 30 (01:39:43):
I feel like that's all we can do is just
pray because we don't know what's coming. We don't know
what's coming, but I do know something that's coming.
Speaker 16 (01:39:51):
I can tell you that much.
Speaker 14 (01:39:53):
Keep it away from here in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 6 (01:39:55):
There he is.
Speaker 16 (01:39:56):
That's all we can do is pray at this point.
Speaker 13 (01:39:59):
I mean, the thing is, it's like I remember being
a kid and there was this this TV show or
movie that came on. I think it's called The Day
After and it's about nuclear war, and like that just
like wipes out like almost everybody. So, I mean, Trump
does have a reason if they really thought it was,
(01:40:19):
you know, nuclear weapons. But yeah, it's just like the
United States can never mind their business. But I mean
I understand about, you know, getting rid of the nuclear war,
the nuclear weapons. Like can what happened to just regular fighting?
Can we just put your put our fists up?
Speaker 1 (01:40:35):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (01:40:36):
Can we fight? They?
Speaker 14 (01:40:37):
Can we fight with regular guns? We got to go
to nuclear stuff now, like.
Speaker 16 (01:40:41):
Thirty thousand pound bombs.
Speaker 6 (01:40:44):
Oh God Jesus.
Speaker 13 (01:40:47):
All right, y'all, So we know what to pray for,
we know what to pray about. Let's go ahead and
move on to the next story. So glow yalam. She
received a BET Award. The BT Awards were on recently
and she received the Doctor Bobby Jones' Best Gospel slash
Inspirational Award. So it was for her song Rains Down
(01:41:08):
on Me, which features Kirk Franklin, Maverick City Music, he
Era Sheared, and Chandler Moore. So a lot of controversy
has been going on around this because she is a
secular artist, not a gospel artist. And yeah, yeah, people
have saying that, you know, that should have been given
to a gospel artist. D Your Cadden has been very
vocal about it. So what's your thoughts.
Speaker 16 (01:41:29):
Oh, my goodness, of the blow.
Speaker 30 (01:41:31):
Congratulations A big blow because I like though, I'm just low, okay,
even though she.
Speaker 16 (01:41:36):
Had a gospel song. Gal See that's how much you
know my cable.
Speaker 14 (01:41:40):
You gotta listen to this show.
Speaker 16 (01:41:41):
Yeah, I played ahead the BT Awards. I didn't get
okay Internet for that, but congratulations a big low. But
I didn't know she did gospel. Yeah, well yeah no,
that kind of threw me off.
Speaker 2 (01:41:53):
A little bit.
Speaker 30 (01:41:53):
I mean, listen, my thing is this artistry is artistry,
and it shouldn't matter.
Speaker 16 (01:41:58):
The gift comes from God no matter what she's doing
out here. So my thing is, if the girl want
to be gospel, let her, let her have that.
Speaker 30 (01:42:07):
Yeah that, Let the get these young artists chanting and
let them have their flowers. Yeah, that's all I can
say about that. Like now, wi, the judgment comes from
it's artistry. It's all artistry, whether it's gospel, R and
b rap whatever you want to call it.
Speaker 13 (01:42:24):
Yeah, and it does say inspirational too, it was inspirational.
But you know, she grew up in the church. Her
name is Gloria Hallelujah, Hello somebouty, so she hes household.
The girl used to lead praise and worship. So I mean,
I feel bad for her because it's like, dang, she
can't even enjoy her award, like.
Speaker 2 (01:42:44):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 14 (01:42:45):
So I don't know that's crazy.
Speaker 16 (01:42:48):
I ain't even know that.
Speaker 6 (01:42:49):
Yeah, but you're that one bay glow.
Speaker 16 (01:42:52):
I'm proud.
Speaker 13 (01:42:53):
Yes, get them glow, get them, get them glove. Yes,
but you got to start listening to this show because
we played it. Oh yes, yes, yes, yes, all right,
let's move on. I'm trying to get to all these stories.
Speaker 14 (01:43:08):
So our killing.
Speaker 13 (01:43:09):
He was hospitalized after a prison overdose, so you know
he's in prison.
Speaker 14 (01:43:14):
He's been there for a minute.
Speaker 13 (01:43:16):
He overdosed with his meds that was given to him
by prison staff, so he takes sleep and anxiety medication.
His lawyers are saying that he was placed in solitary
confinement and he was given an overdose quantity which led
to his hospitalization for two days. So he was feeling
(01:43:38):
dizzy and faint. He saw black spots in his vision.
He tried to get when he fell and then he
crawled to the door of his cell and he lost consciousness.
So the lawyers saying that there is a plot to
kill him and they're asking for Trump to give him
a pardon. He pardoned everybody else, so he said. They
(01:43:58):
said that he was denied medical treatment for blood clots
in his lungs. He was supposed to get surgery, and
they took him out of the hospital and brought him
back to prison. So he is serving a thirty year
and a twenty year sentence. He's doing it consecutively for racketeering,
sex trafficking, child pornography, and enticement.
Speaker 14 (01:44:16):
So what's your thoughts?
Speaker 30 (01:44:19):
All I can fires free, Aura, we need some good music.
I'm gonna say, I just say, got here the music
ain't been the same since. That's all I'm gonna say.
I'm not seriously but on a serious note, denying him
medical treatment, that that's what got me.
Speaker 16 (01:44:39):
I don't know about that.
Speaker 13 (01:44:40):
I don't know, because you could die from a blud cly,
you could die from that, Like, yes, come on, but
you're serious.
Speaker 16 (01:44:48):
That is serious.
Speaker 1 (01:44:49):
But I don't know.
Speaker 16 (01:44:51):
It's a lot going on. All I can say is
a lot going on.
Speaker 2 (01:44:54):
Y R.
Speaker 30 (01:44:54):
Kelly is tied to a lot of things. So we're
gonna see how this play isn say.
Speaker 13 (01:45:00):
We're gonna say, I don't know. We'll see if Trump
parties him, we'll see. I don't know what was he
friends with him before? He partnered a lot of folks.
But you know, Laura, we need more step in the
name of love. But he he's making music from prison.
He he redid residuals by Chris Brown. He redid that
he talkding me where his resigu?
Speaker 16 (01:45:23):
I did hear?
Speaker 14 (01:45:24):
I did hear that?
Speaker 16 (01:45:24):
But now now we need some We need some free
Kelly music.
Speaker 13 (01:45:28):
Okay, all right, all right, moving on. So off Set
is dating Stefan Diggs's baby mama. So yeah, so he
was spotted. They were spotted together at a club. Her
name is Sky Marlene, so that is Stephan Dicks's baby mama.
So she also showed up to one of all Sets performances.
(01:45:49):
So you know, Stefan Diggs is dating Cardi B.
Speaker 14 (01:45:51):
So what's your thoughts? So you think this is just
revenge or he really is interested in her.
Speaker 16 (01:45:56):
Listen, I'm gonna say Cardi B is a savage. That's
all I'm gonna say.
Speaker 30 (01:46:02):
Heard he is a savage because if I'm not if
I may be wrong, but didn't like this off Set
and step Fan things kind of like you like, didn't
they kind of did they work together at some at
some point.
Speaker 14 (01:46:14):
I said, I was fashion, Oh, I don't know, I
missed it. If they did, yeah, I believe they did.
Speaker 16 (01:46:20):
I believe they did.
Speaker 30 (01:46:21):
And then come to find out that Stefan they was,
you know, off set favorite player.
Speaker 13 (01:46:25):
I said, Oh, I got you all kay, and I'm
gonna get you for real with your probably had to
post up at the house.
Speaker 16 (01:46:33):
I'm trying to feel savage for that.
Speaker 30 (01:46:37):
Said, I say, she got her look back when I
asked the true definition and get your look.
Speaker 16 (01:46:43):
Fact, she got it back and she got Oh.
Speaker 13 (01:46:46):
I don't know, but off set is learning. You're gonna
go with the baby mama, and then you know he
probably hate And then what if they get married? They
all get married, they stepan and card to get married,
and all said, and this girl get married, they.
Speaker 16 (01:46:59):
Gonna see shut that.
Speaker 3 (01:47:03):
I said.
Speaker 16 (01:47:04):
The first thing I did was I hollered. I can't savage.
I can't out here.
Speaker 30 (01:47:09):
She's out here telling y'all how to kill it, how
to get y'all nick back. But I'm gonna tell y'all
right now, y'all better be careful.
Speaker 16 (01:47:16):
I'm old school.
Speaker 30 (01:47:16):
Y'all better be careful because these people ain't playing nowadays.
Speaker 2 (01:47:20):
Chol humiliation don't go.
Speaker 14 (01:47:23):
Over too well now. Well well, well, well so Tyler Perry.
Speaker 13 (01:47:28):
So he is being sued for two hundred and sixty
million dollars over sexual assault.
Speaker 14 (01:47:34):
Yes, so he has a lawsuit by a man.
Speaker 13 (01:47:37):
Yes, it is an actor that's on one of his
TV series on BT, The Oval.
Speaker 14 (01:47:42):
So the character is Dale.
Speaker 13 (01:47:44):
So if you watch it, so he plays Dell, but
his real name is Derek Dixon. So Tyler Perry of
course denies all the claims. Derek Dixon is saying that
there has been a pattern of workplace sexual harassment, assault
and retaliation perpetuated by Tyler Perry. He's soon him for
alleged quid pro chloe and workplace environment harassment.
Speaker 14 (01:48:06):
So he says that.
Speaker 13 (01:48:08):
He promised him career advancement and creative opportunities. He says
that he didn't reciprocate Tyler Perry's on one of advances,
so he was sexually harassed, assaulted, and he was subjected
to professional retaliation. I don't know how retaliation is professional,
but okay. So, according to the lawsuit, they met in
twenty nineteen. Derek Dixon worked for an event company that
(01:48:32):
was planning the Tyler Perry Studios opening party. They exchanged numbers.
Tyler Perry then asked him what are his goals? And
he casted him in the series Ruthless. So then he
started getting strange text messages. Tyler Perry invited him to
his house. They were drinking and they were conversing and
Tyler Perry said, don't drive home, so he stayed the
(01:48:54):
night in the guest bedroom and that's when allegedly all
of this, you know, some of it took place sexually
assaulted that night. And this was in twenty twenty. So
then Tyler Perry was like stalking him, texting him and everything,
and Tyler Perry then offered him a role in the Oval.
So since then, you know, he has you know, been
(01:49:16):
doing all this stuff, you know, sexually assaulting him. And
Tyler Perry's attorneys are basically saying it's a scam. So
what's your thoughts, Tyler, Tyler, Tila.
Speaker 16 (01:49:36):
Chilace boyd Tyler. That's all I said.
Speaker 14 (01:49:39):
Tay oh boy.
Speaker 16 (01:49:45):
Had that boy had receipts and all.
Speaker 14 (01:49:48):
Yeah, he said he got the text messages. That's what
he's saying. He had seat for day.
Speaker 13 (01:49:53):
Well, he said he was didn't want to get cut
from his role. But we'll see. But he does say
he got receipts.
Speaker 14 (01:50:00):
We'll see. I want to see that.
Speaker 30 (01:50:01):
I hope, yeah, I hope he will shoot him off
because you know, everybody get a shot and killed off
the show.
Speaker 16 (01:50:06):
Well, I hope you don't get shot.
Speaker 14 (01:50:09):
He got shot four times and but he survived. So
we'll see you. You you swing your boss, now, you
really gonna get shot.
Speaker 16 (01:50:20):
You know, he gotta listen. He did not listen.
Speaker 30 (01:50:22):
They screenshot the messages he told him. He said, he
shoot him off the shelf, so he already knows what's coming.
You ain't gonna get a paycheck. You're not gonna get
a large paycheck. That did and still remain on that show.
You better say with that, Yeah, you.
Speaker 14 (01:50:35):
Better find something. Ain't nobody else gonna want to hire
you even now, So we'll see.
Speaker 30 (01:50:40):
Skyler, I'll let your girl. You gotta open, sir.
Speaker 13 (01:50:46):
I will move to the at L don't play with me.
But anyhow, allright, we got like two minutes. I want
to get to this last story. This is about Portie
Williams from the Real Housewives of Atlanta. So she won
her divorce battle. She recent divorce Simon Godobia. The judge
enforced their prenup. So Simon has to pay her forty
(01:51:06):
thousand dollars a month in alimony for up to fifteen months,
and he also has to cover her legal fees.
Speaker 14 (01:51:13):
The total I calculated it, I said, let me do
this math.
Speaker 13 (01:51:16):
Character one, He's gonna have to pay her about six
hundred thousand dollars. So I'm just like I didn't know
that you could only pay for fifteen months. I thought
you had to pay alimony forever until the person get remarried.
Speaker 11 (01:51:29):
I know.
Speaker 16 (01:51:29):
No, that's how my make out like a fat rack. Yeah,
I'm sixteen months gonna set a real night.
Speaker 6 (01:51:35):
Hello.
Speaker 13 (01:51:36):
So she also has until twenty twenty seven to confirm
if she's going to either vacate or continue to stay
in their seven million dollar home that they share before marriage.
But my thing is, he got deportoedus, so do he
really need it? Gonna let us stay up in there,
and you know what I mean, And they.
Speaker 14 (01:51:53):
Have to split the equity as well.
Speaker 13 (01:51:56):
So his argument is that she went back to work
to the real house of Atlanta after saying that she
was not gonna be going back to that show. They
were only married for fifteen months. They had a beautiful
wedding in America and Africa. So her she said that
she only started working because she had all these legal
bills to fight him for this divorce.
Speaker 14 (01:52:17):
So what's your thoughts.
Speaker 16 (01:52:20):
I'm gonna say like this here.
Speaker 30 (01:52:22):
First of all, if everybody paid attention Homeboy, they.
Speaker 16 (01:52:26):
Said Homeboy, wasn't he operating under his real name? We
don't even know this man's real.
Speaker 14 (01:52:31):
My god, today he's been a.
Speaker 16 (01:52:33):
Feeling all right.
Speaker 30 (01:52:34):
Well, I say, I say, leave Porsche alone. She came
up that say leave alone.
Speaker 16 (01:52:40):
She came up. She came up on a lick. Okay,
and y'all hating everybody hating.
Speaker 2 (01:52:45):
On this girl.
Speaker 16 (01:52:46):
She came up on a lick, and y'all wish y'all
could too just our second one? Okay, she too? She
tooing up Lee Porsche alone. She touring out. This gonna
came up on a lick, and now everybody hating on her.
Y'all don't know what y'all got going on. Y'all don't
know if that man needs the money.
Speaker 13 (01:53:02):
The thing is, when she got divorced last time, she
said she didn't want none of that football player's money.
Speaker 14 (01:53:07):
So this time she said, no gonna give me the
forty k.
Speaker 30 (01:53:10):
I'm just saying, I'm listening, Poorsha, I said, Portia, calmy god, comman,
because you do you towing out?
Speaker 2 (01:53:18):
Now?
Speaker 16 (01:53:20):
Why they got you stopping right, Lee Porsch, y'all hainte
no fortune like that?
Speaker 13 (01:53:24):
Well listen, well, you know they probably hating on her
because you know she was friends with his ex. Fallon
went all up over there in the pool while you
know the girl was married to her, and then now
you look at it and it's like you took your
friend's man. But then they said she cheated on him
and had a baby.
Speaker 14 (01:53:41):
So I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:53:42):
Girl.
Speaker 16 (01:53:42):
Listen, Porsche is a hood chick that is smart. She
then made her way through Hollywood and she is paying off.
Now why y'all playing with her?
Speaker 2 (01:53:55):
What she doing?
Speaker 16 (01:53:56):
She know what she's doing?
Speaker 6 (01:53:58):
Well, just like he did too.
Speaker 30 (01:54:00):
