She is an accomplishedroboticist, entrepreneur and
educator.
She became Dean of the OhioState University College of
Engineering on March 1st 2021.
Previously, she was chair ofthe Georgia Institute of

Technology School of InteractingComputing and the College of
Computing, as well as founderand director of the Human
Automation Systems Lab.
So, dean Ayanna Howard, herquote is called Always Be Proud,

and here is what she had to sayyour best champion and
cheerleader is yourself.
Always be proud ofaccomplishments, big or small.
So I'm going to say that againyour best champion and
cheerleader is yourself.

Always be proud of youraccomplishments, big or small.
And what Dean Howard is sayinghere is don't minimize your
accomplishments.
Don't wait until you feel likeyour accomplishment has to be so

big and grand before you cantalk about it.
We are to celebrate always,whether it is big or small, and
even if it's small, you are tocelebrate it as if it was the
grandest thing ever, becausethat's your accomplishment.

That's your accomplishment.
So, always be proud of what youare doing, always be proud of
the work you are accomplishing.
Always be proud of you.
Remember you are your bestcheerleader, you are your best
