We all want to be in better shape. Whether that’s losing weight, building muscle, or total body recomposition, one thing is certain - consistency and commitment are the king and queen of it all.Â
Most of us blame what I call the trifecta of trouble - a lack of motivation, willpower, and self-discipline - as to why we lack consistency and commitment. But as Stan Efferding put very bluntly, “If you lack motivation, I can help you with that. That’s your problem to solve.”
Before we jump into the busiest time of year for every gym around the world, I think it’s time we re-think what really keeps us from keeping our promises to ourselves and staying consistent with our commitments so that when the trifecta of trouble kicks in, we have a solid solution for our New Year’s Resolutions.
