We asked former NFL QB Bryce Petty to introduce the Mentors Care Podcast to our audience because of his unique connection to one of the most innovative and successful mentoring programs in the state of Texas.
Mentors Care believes in the power of 1-on-1 mentoring for "at-risk" students. It has experienced overwhelming success since 2009 when it launched out of a broom closet at a high school in Midlothian, Texas. Mentors Care is now in seven (7) different high schools across North Texas and poised to keep growing as it helps "at-risk" students cross the graduation line.
The Mentors Care Podcast premieres the week of April 13, 2020, and will publish episodes twice a month. The show promises to deliver two types of content to listeners: 1) inspiring and engaging conversations with top-notch guest interviews, and 2) entertaining banter between hosts Dena Petty and Summer Backstrom

Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
