This episode of the podcast is an important one. Vicki and I talk about dealing with the loss of a loved one, and what it's like from all perspectives. Vicki tells us the story of her family and how they went through a major loss. She does a remarkable job of explaining the details, emotions, situations, and effects that losing a loved one can have on a person. We talk about grief from her view, her sons view, and all that they have been through. Vicki also is willing to get into questions and answers that most people don't feel comfortable talking about.
My goal for this episode is to help anyone who listens to better understand what loss and the ensuing grief are like. If you've already had to deal with major loss, this episode is still for you, because we leave no stone unturned. Sure, the episode is more serious. But, it is also informative, sensitive, and unique. No matter what, in the end I know you'll agree that Vicki Connell is a brave, strong soul.
