to transform your body, yourmindset, your finances or your
entire life, this episode is foryou.
Let's dive in and glow uptogether Now.
(03:07):
In today's Monday Mindset Minute.
Here is a mindset shift that issimple, powerful and
life-changing.
Who you surround yourself withmatters.
The Roman philosopher Senecaonce said associate with people
who are likely to improve you, and, honestly, that wisdom still
(03:29):
rings true centuries later.
The truth is, your environmentshapes your energy, your habits,
your beliefs and your identity.
So if you want to glow up yourbody, your mindset, your
finances, your life, you've gotto take a good look at your
circle.
Here are seven types of peopleevery midlife glow getter should
(03:52):
surround herself with.
Number one people on a mission.
They're goal setters, visionbuilders and action takers.
Being around people who arestriving for more will naturally
pull you forward.
Number two grateful people.
These folks see joy in thelittle things.
(04:12):
They help you focus onabundance, peace and what's
right, not just what's wrong.
Number three people who bringout the best in you.
They cheer you on, lift you upand believe in your glow up,
even on the days you forget howpowerful you are.
Number four people with goodenergy.
(04:33):
Because energy is contagious, make sure you're catching
optimism, encouragement and highvibes, no drama or dread.
Number five doers not justtalkers.
Talkers, dream doers execute.
Surround yourself withaction-orientated women who
(04:54):
inspire you to move, not justmuse.
Number six problem solvers.
They don't blame or complain, they look for answers, take
ownership and find a way forward.
That mindset is magnetic.
And finally, number sevenpeople who give honest feedback,
the real ones, the ones wholovingly tell you the truth,
(05:16):
even when it's uncomfortable, because they want you to grow.
Here's a little reality check toremember If you hang out with
four successful people, you'lllikely become the fifth.
If you hang out with four fit, positive, financially smart and
driven women, you'll rise totheir level.
(05:37):
But if you surround yourselfwith complainers, gossipers or
energy vampires guess what?
You become the fifth there too.
So this week, ask yourself ismy circle elevating me or
draining me?
Because your glow up isn't justpersonal, it's relational.
(05:57):
Surround yourself with peoplewho raise your standards,
inspire your evolution and helpyou become the best version of
you.
You deserve that kind of energyand you can choose it.
Let's make this week powerful, purposeful and full of aligned
connection.
You've got this, okay.
(06:20):
Welcome to the Wellness Glow Upsegment, where we talk about
simple, sustainable practicesthat help you glow from the
inside out.
Today, I want to talk about oneof the most underrated, powerful
and accessible tools in midlifewellness journey walking,
that's right.
Just putting one foot in frontof the other can literally
(06:40):
transform your body, your mindand your life.
Why walking matters?
Especially in midlife, asmidlife women.
We're not here to punish ourbodies.
We're here to nurture them, tokeep our joints mobile, our
hearts strong, our minds clearand our energy vibrant.
And walking it checks every box.
(07:02):
Here are just a few benefitsBoosts cardiovascular health,
supports healthy weight loss, improves digestion and gut
motility, enhances mood andreduces anxiety, increases bone
density and joint strength, supports hormone regulation
(07:24):
during perimenopause andmenopause and improves sleep
quality and brain health.
And here's the best part youcould start right now no fancy
gym, no complicated routines.
Just lace up your shoes andmove.
Every day, at 6 am, I headoutside and get my walk-in.
Why?
(07:44):
Because it sets the tone for myentire day, it clears my mind,
it jumpstarts my metabolism andit's me time before the world
gets loud.
Plus, I'm walking foraccountability.
I've got 90 more pounds to losein my full body glow journey
and walking is a key part of mydaily rhythm.
(08:06):
I'm sharing my walks every daynow on Instagram stories and
reels, not just to keep myselfon track, but to inspire other
midlife women to get out andmove their bodies Because listen
, it's never too late to livehealthier, feel better and
become the version of yourselfyou know you are meant to be.
(08:29):
Let's talk about zone two, cardio, because this is where
the real magic happens.
Zone two is the fat burningzone.
It's a low to moderateintensity where you can still
hold a conversation, but you'reclearly moving with purpose.
Hold a conversation, but you'reclearly moving with purpose.
(08:50):
Walking in zone two.
It increases fat oxidation, akayour burn fat efficiently.
It improves metabolicflexibility.
It boosts endurance withoutspiking cortisol.
It supports hormonal balance, especially in perimenopause and
menopause.
It's gentle on your joints butpowerful for long-term results.
It's ideal for midlife womenbecause it doesn't overtax your
(09:15):
body.
It builds it up.
I personally use a refurbishedApple Watch I bought from Best
Buy three years ago and it stillworks perfectly.
It tracks my heart rate so Ican stay in zone two my steps,
my movement rings and activitygoals.
You can also use a Fitbit, garmin, whoop or your phone's
(09:37):
health app.
If you're just starting out, tofind your zone two heart rate,
a simple rule of thumb is 180minus your age.
Then subtract another 5 to 10if you're just starting out or
recovering from illness.
So for a 47-year-old like me,zone 2 would be around 123 to
(09:58):
133 beats per minute.
You can also ask ChatGPT howmany steps should a 47-year-old
woman weighing 240 pounds takeper day to lose 1 to 2 pounds
per week?
This will give you apersonalized range based on
(10:20):
science and metabolism.
If your walk feels boring, let'sfix that.
Create a walking playlist mindsfull of empowering bops and 90s
throwbacks.
Listen to a podcast, maybe theMidlife Glow Report.
Walk with a friend, a neighboror even your dog.
Change your route.
Explore new parks,neighborhoods or trails.
(10:40):
Use your walk as meditation inmotion.
No music, just breath andpresence.
And when the weather doesn'tcooperate, I got a solution for
that too.
I use a walking pad on rainydays and it's been a total game
changer.
And here's my advice Get onewith a handlebar.
(11:02):
Many walking pads are narrowand if you're curvy, tired or
new to movement, having thatbalance bar makes it safer and
more comfortable.
You can walk while watching TV,scrolling your phone or even
while working at a stand-up desk.
(11:22):
Movement doesn't have to be allor nothing.
Every step counts.
So here's the truth you don'tneed to run, you don't need to
overtrain, you just need to walk.
Every step is an act ofself-respect, every step says
I'm still in this, I'm notgiving up on myself, and every
step brings you closer to thehealthiest, happiest version of
(11:44):
you.
So walk for your body, walk foryour brain, walk for your
future and walk for the womanyou're becoming.
Let's lace up and glow uptogether.
So now it's time for weight lossglow up segment, and today I
want to share two simple, powerful tips that have helped
me lose weight.
Listen, this journey has notbeen perfect.
(12:07):
It's been real.
It's been full of recommitments, mindset shifts and showing up
again and again for me.
But these two strategies gamechangers.
Let's start with the first one.
Tip number one celebrate microwins.
Look, we are wired for progress, but often we only give
(12:31):
ourselves permission tocelebrate the big milestones
when I lose 50 pounds, when Ifit into those jeans, when I
finally hit that number on thescale.
But midlife has taught me this.
If we want lastingtransformation, we need to
reward the process, not just theoutcome.
(12:52):
That's where micro wins come in.
Every time you choose the walkover the couch, every time you
make a nourishing meal insteadof giving up, every time you
talk kindly to yourself in themirror instead of picking
yourself apart, that's a win.
And when you celebrate it, youreinforce the habit with
(13:16):
dopamine, the brain's littlehigh-five chemical For me.
I use a bead jar, yep, like akid One bead for every good
choice I make.
When I see that jar startfilling up, I feel my progress,
even when the scale is slow.
(13:36):
And I use pretty iridescentbeads real pretty in a glass jar
.
It's visual, it's fun and itreminds me that success is built
on thousands of micro decisions, not one big finish line.
So what's your best version ofa bee jar?
Is it a calendar sticker, anote in your journal, a little
(14:01):
dance in the kitchen?
Find your way to cheer yourselfon daily, because that energy
keeps the momentum going.
Now on to tip number two Don'tdrink your calories.
This one may sound basic, butwow, did it make a massive
difference in my journey.
(14:22):
We don't always realize howsneaky liquid calories are.
A fancy coffee here a juice orsmoothie, there that soda we
grew up on sipping.
It all adds up, and quickly.
Once I cut out sugary drinksand prioritized water, beef,
(14:44):
bone broth, black coffee, greentea and sparkling water,
everything started to shift.
My blood sugar balanced out, mycravings calmed down and,
honestly, my skin startedglowing too.
Now I sip water every day.
I add lemon or electrolytes inthe morning, I enjoy my black
(15:06):
espresso like a boss and I usesparkling water with a lemon
wedge when I want somethingfancy.
It's simple, it's doable and itworks.
So if you're just gettingstarted or you've hit a plateau,
try this one shift.
It doesn't require a gym, itdoesn't take willpower, just
(15:27):
awareness and a little love foryour future self.
So there you go Celebrate microwins like they matter, because
they do and ditch the sugarydrinks.
Your metabolism will thank you.
You don't have to overhaul yourlife overnight.
You just have to keep stackingsmall wins with love, intention
(15:51):
and grace.
And remember if I can lose 150pounds in midlife whilst you're
learning and growing, so can you.
We're in this together andyou're worth every drop of
effort.
Okay, now on to the passion andpurpose segment, where we dig
into what really lights yoursoul on fire in this beautiful
(16:14):
midlife chapter Today I've gottwo tips that have completely
shifted the way I reconnect withmy own sense of purpose.
They aren't big, dramaticchanges.
They're gentle mindset shiftsthat can open doors you didn't
even know were still waiting foryou.
Let's jump right in Tip numberone adopt a beginner's mindset.
(16:39):
You know what midlife is notabout pretending to have it all
figured out.
In fact, some of the mostpowerful glow-ups happen when we
give ourselves permission to bebeginners again.
Think about it.
When we were kids, or evenyoung adults, we tried new
things because they looked fun.
(17:00):
We weren't worried about beingthe best or making money from it
or whether we'd be good enough.
We were just curious.
And that curiosity, it's stillin you.
It's the key to unlockingdormant dreams, the ones you've
shelved because life got busy oryou were raising a family or
(17:24):
climbing the career ladder.
Curiosity reactivatescreativity.
It reawakens joy.
So try something new this month.
Take a class, pick up a hobby, visit a museum, try a new type
of book or podcast.
Let yourself flow with that tugof interest without needing to
(17:47):
justify it.
You don't have to know whereit's leading, you just have to
start walking, because sometimesthe path to purpose doesn't
start with clarity, it startswith curiosity.
So now, tip number two let go ofoutdated roles.
This one's big.
(18:07):
We spend years, decades, beingeverything to everyone the mom,
the wife, the caregiver, thereliable one, the workhorse, the
peacekeeper.
But here's the truth you arenot just who you used to be, you
are allowed to evolve.
(18:27):
So many women hit midlifefeeling restless, not because
they're lost, but becausethey're growing beyond the boxes
they've lived in for so long.
And guess what?
Outgrowing something doesn'tmean you're ungrateful, it means
you're alive, it means you'rebecoming.
(18:49):
Letting go of outdated rolesmakes space for who you are now
and who you are still becoming.
So ask yourself what roles am Istill playing that no longer
fit?
Where have I been performinginstead of living?
It's okay to shift, it's okayto redefine, it's okay to say
(19:12):
that version of me served aseason, but I'm stepping into
something new now.
This is where purpose is born, not from who you were, but from
where you are ready to be.
So remember, stay curious likea beginner and release the role
(19:32):
that doesn't fit you anymore, because you are not too old and
it's not too late.
You're just getting started.
And that's the second act.
It might just be the mostmeaningful chapter yet.
So now the beauty glow upsegment.
My favorite Now listen, midlifeskin.
(19:55):
It's a whole new vibe.
What worked in our 20s and 30sjust doesn't cut it anymore.
And that's okay, because now weget to elevate, not just cover
up.
We're after glow, bounce andconfidence, and today I'm
sharing two simple beauty shiftsthat made a huge difference in
(20:17):
my skin after 40.
Let's break it down.
Tip number one use a retinol toyour night routine.
Tip number one use a retinol toyour night routine.
Okay, if you've been waitingfor that sign to use a retinol,
this is it.
As we age, our cell turnoverslows down, which means dullness
, fine lines, rough texture anduneven tone start to creep in.
(20:40):
Retinol are powerfulingredients that actually speed
up that cell turnover, stimulatecollagen production and help
your skin look brighter, smoother and more youthful.
Now you need to start slow.
Your skin is powerful, but it'salso evolving.
My favorite combo it's a FrenchGirl Skin Care Secret, a 313
(21:08):
Retinol Pomade with La LucetteHydroconic Acid Cream.
These two paired together aremagic.
When you use the sandwich method, what I do first is cleanse my
skin.
Now that's.
In tip number two We'll coverthat it's cleanse my skin.
Now that's in tip number two.
(21:29):
We'll cover that.
Apply a thin layer of Lalu-Set.
It's pure hydro-laconic acid,ultra-hydrating and plumping.
Add a pea-sized amount of A313.
It's a vitamin A derivative.
That's strong but elegant.
Finish with another layer of LaLucette to seal in moisture and
reduce irritation.
(21:51):
This sandwich method keeps yourskin hydrated, calm and glowy
while still getting all theretinal benefits.
I learned this sandwich methodfrom my dermatologist and, yes,
you can grab both of these onAmazon.
I'll link them in the shownotes for you Remember.
Use it one to two nights a weekto start.
(22:15):
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate andalways wear SPF the next day.
This tip alone has changed thetexture and tone of my skin in
just in a few months.
So now beauty.
Tip number two Use a gentlehydrating cleanser and double
(22:37):
cleanse.
Always, let's talk about washingyour face because, I promise,
how you cleanse is just asimportant as what you put on
after it.
In midlife, our skin losesmoisture faster, becomes more
reactive and often needs somemore TLC.
(22:58):
That's why we say goodbye toharsh stripping cleansers and
hello to hydration.
To harsh stripping cleansersand hello to hydration.
Here's a system that keeps myskin calm, clean and glowing.
Step one use a balm or oilcleanser to remove sunscreen,
makeup and daily grime.
My go-to Banila Co Clean it ZeroFirming Cleansing Balm this
(23:24):
Korean beauty classic melts offeverything, including waterproof
mascara, while leaving yourskin soft and bouncy, not greasy
.
It's made with moringo, ceramide and panthenol to soothe
, nourish and protect your skinbarrier, and panthenol to soothe
, nourish and protect your skinbarrier.
(23:45):
Then step two follow, with agentle foaming cleanser to deep
clean without stripping.
I swear by using La Roche-PosayTolerane Purifying Foaming
Cleanser.
It's oil-free, soap-free,packed with niacinamide and
ceramides, and totally safe forsensitive skin.
(24:08):
It gives a fresh, clean feelingwithout the tight, dry
aftermath.
Together, this duo respects theskin barrier so it can actually
heal, repair and glow.
Both of these cleansers are onAmazon and you can find it there
.
Double cleansing is no longer aluxury.
(24:31):
It's a necessity in midlifeskincare.
So, to recap, start using aretinol paired with La Lucette,
using the sandwich method, anddouble cleanse, first with the
Vanilla Co Balm, then with LaRoche-Posay's Gentle Foaming
Cleanser.
(24:51):
You don't need a 10-steproutine.
You just need the rightproducts, the right technique
and the right mindset.
You are glowing because of howyou care for yourself, not in
spite of your age.
Midlife Beauty isn't aboutchasing youth, it's about
celebrating radiance.
So get that glow girl, and, don't worry, I've got the Amazon
(25:14):
links.
If you don't see the show notes, dm me on Instagram at Jack
Sties and I'll send the listyour way.
And I'll send the list your wayUntil next time.
Keep glowing inside and out.
So now here are two midlifeconfidence boosters you can
start today.
Let's be honest.
(25:34):
Confidence in midlife it hitsdifferent.
It's not about being loud orperfect or polished.
It's about knowing who you are, owning your worth and refusing
to shrink yourself just to makeothers comfortable.
In this chapter of life, confidence isn't just a vibe,
(25:56):
it's a lifeline.
So let's dive into twoconfidence boosters.
I swear by Once you can starttoday to build that inner glow
and feel more grounded, powerfuland magnetic.
Tip number one confidencebooster celebrate your
achievements, all of them.
(26:17):
I need you to hear this you aredoing way more than you give
yourself credit for Seriously, how many times do we accomplish
something and immediately moveon to the next thing, barely
even pausing to acknowledge it?
We say things like, oh, it wasnothing or that's just what I
(26:39):
had to do.
But here's the truth.
Every win matters.
But here's the truth.
Every win matters.
Every healthy choice, everyboundary honored, every step
forward, even if it's tiny.
Celebrating your achievementsrewires your brain to see
yourself as capable.
It strengthens the neuralpathways connected to confidence
(27:01):
and motivation.
It boosts dopamine.
It makes your habits stick.
So how do you do this?
One simple way start sharing.
Post your progress on socialmedia, even if it feels
vulnerable.
It's not about bragging.
It's about owning your effortand you never know, it may
(27:23):
inspire others in the progress.
Maybe you walked five days thisweek.
Maybe you meal prepped for thefirst time in months.
Maybe you finally had a hardconversation, started journaling
or got dressed in somethingthat made you feel fabulous.
Share it, speak it, celebrateit.
(27:43):
Want to keep it private?
Write it in a journal, make aglow list Text a trusted friend,
do a happy dance in the kitchen, but don't skip the celebration
.
It tells your brain I matter.
What I do matters.
Confidence booster.
(28:04):
Number two share your expertise.
Now you've got wisdom, lifeexperience, life lessons, the
hard way, skills, stories andinsights that no one else on the
planet can duplicate, becauseno one else is you.
And one of the most powerfulways to boost your confidence
(28:28):
Share it.
Start small.
Maybe you write a blog post.
Maybe you record a voice note, maybe you go live on Instagram,
teach a class or just talk aboutsomething you've mastered with
a group of girlfriends.
Every time you teach or sharewhat you've learned, you
reinforce your own value.
(28:49):
You start to see yourself assomeone who has something to
offer.
And guess what you do?
Here's a personal example.
When I started sharing my ownglow-up journey weight loss,
mindset shifts, wellness habitsI didn't feel like an expert.
I just felt like a womanfiguring it out.
(29:11):
But the more I shared, the moreconfidence I gained, because I
realized my story is helpingpeople.
It's helping others remind usof our power.
So what do you know?
What have you lived through?
What could you share that mighthelp someone else?
(29:31):
It doesn't have to be perfect,it just has to be true.
So let's recap Celebrate yourachievements, big or small.
Train your brain to see yourselfas the success you already are.
Train your brain to seeyourself as the success you
already are and share yourexpertise.
(29:51):
You've got value to offer andevery time you show up and speak
your truth, your confidencegrows.
You don't have to wait untilyou arrive to be confident.
Confidence is built along theway, in the doing, in the
sharing in the celebrating.
So go ahead, be your ownbiggest hype woman, because when
(30:14):
you believe in yourself,everything changes.
So now we're on to the financialsegment segment and in today's
podcast, this is step three of acontinued series from the two
previous podcasts, and stepthree is create a conscious
(30:36):
spending plan.
This isn't your grandma'sbudget.
This is not about deprivationor tracking every penny like a
hawk.
This is about aligning yourmoney with your values so you
could spend on what matters andglow up your financial life
without guilt.
What is a conscious spendingplan?
(30:59):
Think of it as a glow-upversion of budgeting.
It's not about cutting out yourcoffee or never going on
vacation.
It's about choosingintentionally where your money
goes so you feel empowered, notrestricted.
When we hit midlife, ourpriorities shift.
We've raised families, juggledcareers, supported others and
(31:24):
now it's time to center on usagain.
The conscious spending plangives you clarity and freedom to
say this is what I care about, this is what lights me up, this
is what I'm done wasting moneyon.
It's both a mindset and amethod, and it's one of the most
(31:45):
powerful financial tools I'veused in my own reinvention.
So why is this so beneficialfor midlife women?
Because midlife is when westart waking up to a lot of
financial truths.
We're often still catching upwith decades of caregiving or
under-earning.
We may be recovering from debt, divorce or career pivot and we
(32:10):
finally are ready to focus on us, our goals, our dreams and our
freedom.
But most traditional budgetsdon't feel empowering.
They feel restrictive.
A conscious spending plan putsyou in control.
It helps you spend guilt-freeon what brings you joy, while
(32:35):
cutting ruthlessly on whatdoesn't.
It creates financial peace, clarity and confidence and that,
my friend, is the midlife magic.
How to create a consciousspendings plan?
Step by step.
(32:57):
Let's break it down.
Step one know your monthlytake-home income.
Start with clarity.
What actually hits your bankaccount each month after taxes
and deductions.
That's your foundation.
That's your foundation.
Step two identify your four corecategories.
This is where we getintentional.
Every dollar you spend shouldfall into one of these four
categories Fixed costs, goals, joyful spending and flex.
(33:21):
Fixed costs are like rents, mortgages, utilities, insurance,
car payment.
They're the basics.
Goals, debt, payoff, savings, retirement, investing, joyful
spending, dining out, beauty, fashion, self-care, vacations
and flex other Unexpected stuffKids, pets, gifts, gas.
(33:43):
Give yourself a buffer.
Step three Do a 30-day audit.
Print your last month'sstatement and highlight each
transaction in a color-codedsystem.
Ask yourself did this bring mejoy?
Was it aligned with my goals?
Am I spending more onconvenience than intention?
(34:05):
Am I spending more onconvenience than intention?
You'll be shocked at how muchyou can realign without feeling
deprived.
Step four make a plan thatreflects you.
Now decide how much you want toallocate to each category,
based on your life values andglow-up goals.
Example fixed costs 55%.
(34:26):
Goals 15%.
Joyful spending 20%.
Flex 10%.
Make it work for you.
Step five automate what you can.
Set up automatic transfers tosavings, investments and bills.
Use a prepaid debit card or asecond account for your fund
(34:48):
money.
The less you have to think, theeasier it is to stay aligned.
Step six review monthly andadjust accordingly.
This is not a one and doneprocess.
You are evolving, so your planwill too.
Check in monthly, celebrateprogress, tweak what's not
(35:11):
working and my final thoughts.
Creating a conscious spendingplan is not about restriction.
It's about liberation.
It's saying I know what I want,I know where I'm going and my
money is working for me now.
So if you've ever feltoverwhelmed by budgeting or
(35:34):
guilty for spending or unsure ofwhere your money goes, this is
your moment.
You can glow up your financesthe same way you glow up your
mindset, wellness or style, withclarity, intention and with
love.
That's it for today's financialwell-being glow-up segment, and
(35:55):
I hope this helped you Share itwith a friend, or screenshot
and tag me at jacksize onInstagram.
Now on to a life coaching tipwith an exercise.
Today we're diving intosomething most of us were taught
to avoid fear or even beashamed of Failure.
(36:17):
Yes, I said it, and I want youto lean in close because what
I'm about to say might justchange how you see yourself and
your midlife reinvention journeyforever.
If you want to thrive inmidlife, you've got to get
really, really good at failing.
I know you might be thinking, but I've already failed enough.
(36:41):
I'm too old to start over andrisk failing again.
But, friend, failure is not theenemy.
What is failure really?
Failure is simply the absenceof an unexpected result.
That's it.
It doesn't mean you're notworthy.
It doesn't mean you're behind.
It doesn't mean you're broken.
(37:03):
It just means you triedsomething and it didn't go
exactly as planned.
And here's what most women over40 do they stop trying, they
shrink their dreams and avoidfeeling disappointed,
embarrassed or ashamed.
But those are just feelings, and feelings come from thoughts.
(37:25):
You get to choose how yourespond to failure.
This is my 30-day challengereal-life failure.
Let me give you a personalexample.
I just completed my 30-daymidlife glow-up walking
challenge, which I documenteddaily on social media.
(37:46):
One of my goals was to lose 15pounds in those 30 days.
I lost 12.
Now some people might call thata failure, but not me, because
I showed up for myself.
I practiced wellness andwalking every day and other
daily challenges for 30 days.
(38:07):
I move my body with love.
I committed to my wellness andI inspired others along the way.
I didn't fail.
I grew and I'm proud because Ilearned, I evolved and I kept
going, and so can you.
Perfectionism you need to let itgo.
That's just fear in disguise.
(38:29):
It whispers.
Don't try unless you'reguaranteed to win.
Stay safe, stay small, don'tmess up.
But that's not where the glowup happens.
Your radiance is born in thetrying, in the courage, in the
messy middle, in the decision torise again Next time something
(38:54):
doesn't go.
Plan, try this.
This is the loving way to fail.
Pause and breathe.
Notice your thoughts.
Are they kind?
Choose better ones instead of Ifailed and say to yourself I
learned.
Celebrate the effort, becauseeffort is proof of commitment.
Keep showing up with grace, with grit, with love.
(39:18):
Failure is not something tofear, it's something to practice
, because the more we practicefailing with love, the stronger,
bolder and more stoppable webecome.
Final thought this is hugedifference between failing and
never trying.
One expands you, the othershrinks you.
(39:39):
One says I'm brave, the othersays I gave up, so don't play it
safe.
Show up, try the thing, launchyour dream, speak up, apply,
(40:00):
fall down, learn, rise again.
You are not too late, not tooold and not too far gone.
You are becoming and sometimesbecoming looks like failing
forward with grace, guts andglowing self-love.
You've got this.
Finally, the last segment, themidlife belief for the week.
I can walk away with grace whensomething no longer serves me,
(40:33):
serves me.
Here it is I can walk withgrace with something no longer
serves me.
Let's take a deep breath withthat one, because for so many of
us, especially as women, wewere taught to stay, to stick it
out, to be the fixer, to settle, to feel guilty if we said no
or walked away from somethingthat once felt right but now
feels heavy.
(40:53):
But here's what midlife hastaught me, and maybe it's taught
you too we only get one lifeand in this season we are
reclaiming our time, our peaceand our power.
Walking away doesn't meanfailure.
It doesn't mean we're weak orselfish or flaky.
(41:15):
It means we've grown, it meanswe've checked in with our values
and realized this isn't alignedanymore.
And, guess what?
That's okay.
In fact, it's more than okay.
It's essential, because when wecling to what no longer serves
us whether it's a job, arelationship, a toxic friendship
(41:40):
, a habit, a version ofourselves we block the magic
that's trying to make its way in.
Graceful exits are powerful.
They're rooted in self-respect,emotional maturity and love,
not just for others, but foryourself.
And here's the beautiful thingabout midlife you don't need
(42:04):
permission about midlife.
You don't need permission.
You don't need a dramatic exit.
You don't need to explain yourworth to anyone.
You just need your truth, yourpeace, your decision to walk
forward with grace.
So if something's been tuggingat your soul lately, if there's
a situation, a role or a routinethat feels like it's draining
(42:27):
you more than it's fueling you,I want to lovingly remind you.
You're allowed to outgrowthings.
You're allowed to choose peaceover pressure.
You're allowed to say this nolonger serves the woman I'm
becoming, and you can do it witha soft heart and strong
(42:48):
boundaries.
That's what grace looks like.
You are not starting over, youare starting new.
And say it with me I can walkaway with grace when something
no longer serves me.
Let that be your belief forthis week, let it be your
compass, let it open the door towhat's next, because the second
(43:12):
half of life isn't aboutshrinking or staying stuck.
It's about rising withintention, with clarity and with
grace.
So, glow Getters, that's it.
