Two events, four decades apart: One is the murder of a 15 year old boy in 1930's Texas. The other is the attempted assassination of a U.S. President. These two events collide in ways no one could have imagined,  setting the stage for a war between common sense and one of the most powerful forces in American political history: The National Rifle Association.
