dive into today's topic.
How would it feel for you tofinally stop spinning your
wheels and start seeing progressthat actually moves you closer
to your goals?
Well, this episode is going toshow you how to make it happen.
Today, we're getting into thefinal step of the Power in

(01:08):
Motion framework the R forRemember, refine and Review, and
this step is critical to yoursuccess this year.
By the end of the episode, you're going to have a clear
plan to kick off the year withintention.
Plus, I'm going to tell youabout an upcoming opportunity,
available only inside the MightySociety membership, that you
don't want to miss.
It's a new year, it's a cleanslate, a fresh start and the

(01:32):
perfect time for you to pauseand reflect.
If you're like mostentrepreneurs, you are so
focused on the day to day grindthat you rarely stop to look
back at what you've accomplishedand determine if your efforts
are truly aligned with yourbigger vision.
And that's what step five inthe Power in Motion framework is
all about Giving yourself thespace to reflect on what's

(01:55):
working, what isn't, and how youcan move forward with clarity
and purpose and get betterresults.
Take it from me.
I know A few years ago, I had awall in my business.
I was busy putting in the hours, but the results just were not
happening for me.
I really felt like I wasrunning on a treadmill.
I was exhausted and I wasfrustrated because I wasn't

(02:18):
going anywhere in my business.
Have you ever felt like that?
Well, this is what I did.
I decided I was going to pickone goal and focus on that and
only that until I reach it.
And it took me two years.
Yes, two years working one plan, and I know that sounds like an
eternity in a world where we'reall about quick wins and rapid

(02:42):
growth.
But being that focus was a gamechanger for me.
Once I picked that goal, I madesure my operations could
support that goal.
I created a very detailed planand I executed consistently,
which also required me investingin experts with different areas

(03:03):
of knowledge that I needed tohelp me make things happen in my
business.
But here's the truth thetransformation didn't happen
until I started reflecting, refining and reviewing my
progress regularly.
So here's what I learned duringthose two years Clarity begins
in reflection.
Every time I paused to reviewmy progress, I saw small wins

(03:25):
that I would have missedotherwise, like being more
consistent with my podcast, getting better referrals and
steadily growing my downloads onthe podcast each week, and I
definitely wouldn't have noticedwhat wasn't working without
taking the time to reflect.
Those moments of review allowedme to make adjustments, stay

(03:46):
motivated and keep movingforward, even though sometimes
the progress felt really slow.
And let me tell you, when Ifinally reached my goal of
leaving my day job and workingmy business full time.
The sense of accomplishmentthat I felt was indescribable,
because it wasn't just abouthitting the target, but it was
about the whole experience thatI had along the way.

(04:10):
And let me ask you something howoften do you take time to
reflect on your progress?
I mean, have you celebrated anymicro wins lately?
Well, here's a quick exerciseto help get this started.
If you're able to grab anotebook and a pen, or just open
up the notes app on your phoneright now If you're driving or
walking, plan to do this later, but I want you to write down

(04:32):
three wins from last year.
Then write one area where youfelt stuck and one adjustment
that you can make this month toget better results.
Okay, time to do the work.
Pause this episode, set a timerfor five minutes and do this
now.
I'll wait, but when you're done, I want you to DM me on
Instagram at the underscoreShannon Baker, and share your

(04:56):
biggest win with me.
Let's celebrate together Now.
Our focus today is on step fiveof the Power in Motion framework
, that's, remember, refine andreview.
So let's start by talking aboutremembering, and this goes
beyond celebrating wins, thoughit's an important part of the
process.
Think about what actuallyworked well for you last year.
Beyond celebrating wins, though, it's an important part of the
process.

(05:16):
Think about what actuallyworked well for you last year.
Maybe you landed a dream client, or you streamlined a process
that made a huge difference, ormaybe you just showed up
consistently in your marketing.
I want you to write it down, reflect on it and let it fuel
your motivation for the yearahead.
And remember, wins don't haveto be big.
I mean, did you take a real dayoff without your laptop?

(05:39):
Did you spend more quality timewith your family being fully
present?
Wins come in all forms and allof them matter.
A few years ago, a mentor ofmine suggested that I create a
wall of wins in my office, and Idid that, and I write each win,
whether it's big or small, on atwo by two card and I clip it
to the wall.

(05:59):
Seeing that wall every singleday reminds me of how far I've
come, and it brightens my daywhen things get tough.
Now, if you want to see what itlooks like, dm me and I'll send
you a picture.
Trust me, this practice canshift your mindset and fuel your
momentum so you can keep going, but remembering also means

(06:20):
reconnecting with your why, whydid you start your business?
What impact did you want tomake?
How is your business supposedto support your lifestyle?
Your why is your anchor, yourNorth Star, and revising it
regularly keeps you grounded andfocused.
So write it somewhere where youcan see it, whether it's on a
sticky note in your planner oreven on your wall of wins.

(06:40):
Put it at the top.
Now let's talk about refining, which is about making
intentional adjustments to whatisn't working.
Maybe you set a goal last yearthat just wasn't realistic,
based on the resources you hadavailable or the season of life
that you were in.
Or maybe you struggle to stayconsistent with the new system

(07:01):
you implemented.
Well, instead of just throwingin the towel and abandoning
those efforts, ask yourself howcan I tweak this to make it more
manageable, efficient andeffective?
You know, one of my clientslast year wanted to post on
social media, but she feltoverwhelmed because in her mind,
she thought she needed to postevery day.

(07:23):
And we know what happens shekept trying, but she kept
failing.
So when we sat down and lookedat her content plan, we realized
she could achieve the sameresults by posting two to three
times a week with intentional,high-value content.
That small adjustment gave herback time and made her efforts

(07:46):
sustainable and productive andless overwhelming.
So now it's your turn.
What's one area of yourbusiness that could use a small
adjustment, maybe asimplification?
Maybe it's your clientonboarding process, or maybe
it's your scheduling system, oreven your morning routine?
I need you to identify it andcommit to refining it this month

(08:08):
, and, if you need help, thereare several resources inside of
the Mighty Society membershipthat are designed to guide you
through this month.
And, if you need help, thereare several resources inside of
the Mighty Society membershipthat are designed to guide you
through this process.
Now the last step is reviewing, and this is where the real
transformation happens.
Reviewing is about regularlyevaluating your process and
making adjustments along the way, so my two-year journey would

(08:31):
not have been possible withoutregular reviews, and inside of
the Mighty Society membershipare the 90-day goal setting
worksheets, which are designedto guide you through this
process.
It's the process that I use.
The worksheets include daily, weekly and monthly reflections,
plus there's a structured reviewfor you to complete every 90

(08:54):
days.
This rhythm will help youevaluate your goals, celebrate
your process and makeadjustments in real time.
It's like having a built-inaccountability system to keep
you on track all year long.
Here's a quick tip I want youto schedule a review day at the
end of each month.
I want you to schedule a reviewday at the end of each month.
Use this time to assess whatyou accomplished, identify any

(09:16):
roadblocks that you encounteredalong the way, anticipate
roadblocks you may come upagainst in the future, and then
map out your focus for the nextmonth.
It's one of the most impactfulhabits that you can build Now.
Before we wrap up today, I'mgoing to do a recap of all five
steps of the power in motionframework.
First, you need to pick onegoal.

(09:37):
So you start with one clear, measurable goal that you're
going to focus on for the next90 days, and I want you to
simplify your efforts by puttingall your energy where it
matters most.
Then you're going to organizeyour operations, audit and align
your systems to support yourgoal.
Use the BizOps checklist tohelp you get started.
This step will ensure that yourbusiness runs efficiently so

(09:59):
that you can focus on growth.
Then you need to work on theplan.
Create a step-by-stepactionable plan with realistic
timelines.
A good plan transforms biggoals into achievable milestones
.
Small steps matter.
Once you have your plan, youneed to execute consistently.

(10:21):
Show up, do the work every daywith intention.
Consistency is where progressbecomes inevitable, even if your
progress is slow, just bepatient with the process.
Then you need to remember, refine and review Regularly,
reflect on your wins, adjustwhat isn't working and celebrate

(10:43):
how far you've come.
This is where thetransformation starts to happen,
but you have to do the reviewto notice it.
Each step of the Power InMotion framework is designed to
help you take control of yourtime, align your efforts with
your vision and build a businessthat supports your life, not
the other way around.
And together, these five stepsensure that you're always moving

(11:06):
forward with purpose, at a pacethat works for you, because
this isn't about hustling to thepoint of burnout.
It's about sustainable growthso that your business supports
your lifestyle and you can liveyour legacy.
Now let's talk about what'scoming up inside the Mighty
Society.

having some co-working sessions, because I want to make sure
