Speaker 1 (00:00):
There is something
about spring that makes you want
to just open the windows, letting the fresh air in, clear
out clutter.
It's a season of renewal, ofresetting and making space for
what's next.
But when was the last time youreally spring cleaned your
business?
If your inbox is overflowing, your digital files are a mess
(00:20):
and you're constantly wastingtime searching for things, then
it's time for you to do a littlespring cleaning and the best
part, you don't need to spendhours doing it.
In just 10 minutes, you cantake the first step toward a
more organized, stress-freebusiness.
So let's talk about how you canmake that happen.
(00:41):
Welcome to the Mind your Timepodcast.
I'm Shannon Baker, your coffeeloving host and business
operations strategist.
If your business feels chaoticand you're tired of spinning
your wheels, you're in the rightplace.
Each episode contains bothstrategies and practical
insights rooted in my power andmotion framework to help you
streamline your operations, reclaim your time and grow
without burnout.
(01:02):
So, whether you're juststarting out or scaling the six
figures and beyond, I'll helpyou simplify, set boundaries and
build a business that works foryou.
So grab a cup of coffee or yourfavorite beverage and let's
dive in.
I am so excited because springis almost here.
It's one of my favorite seasonsand I don't know about you, but
I am ready for more sunshine, fresh, warmer air and that
(01:28):
feeling of renewal as we canshed all the winter outer
clothing.
There's just something aboutthis time of the year made that
it really makes you want toreset, declutter and create
space for something better, andthe subject of the majority of
the emails that I've receivedover the past few weeks.
(01:48):
They all have something to dowith spring From spring decor
ideas to new spring drinks, newspring food items on the menu,
new spring styles, mini springspecials.
I think you get the point.
Everyone has spring fever.
But let me ask you somethingwhen was the last time you
(02:14):
spring cleaned your business?
If you are currently feelingburied under digital clutter,
you're drowning in emails oryou're constantly searching for
files instead of doing the workthat actually grows your
business, then you already knowthis isn't just inconvenient,
it's draining you, you'refrustrated, it's costing you
time, energy and it's blockingyour progress.
And I get it because I've beenthere.
(02:36):
I mean, I remember one timethat a client really needed a
document and I knew I had savedit, but the question was where
was it?
I had saved it, but thequestion was, where was it?
I had no idea, so I spent 20minutes searching, digging
through folders, scrollingthrough emails, retracing my
steps, and I found it in thewrong place.
So as I was going through thatprocess, I realized I wasn't
(03:03):
doing the work that actuallymattered, and that was a light
bulb aha moment for me, becausethen I realized I needed a real
system for the way I storedfiles, not just another quick
fix.
So that moment when you'rescrambling to find a file that a
client wants and they'rewaiting for it, or you open your
(03:26):
inbox and you know it'soverflowing with things that you
don't have time to deal with, that endless loop of spending
hours on things that reallyshould only take you minutes,
you're in a state of chaos whereyou're doing the work, but it's
harder than it actually needsto be, and that's exactly why
we're going to shake things up alittle bit today.
(03:48):
Now, before we get into how youcan implement some more
long-term solutions to fix thisproblem, I want to give you a
small win, something you can doright now to shift your energy.
I call it a 10 minute digitalreset challenge, and it's going
to help you clear just enoughspace so that you can breathe
(04:11):
and see the forest through thetrees.
So if you accept this challenge, you're going to experience
what's possible when you takecontrol of your business.
So here's what you're going todo.
First thing is set a timer forjust 10 minutes, because we're
not going to turn this into anall day project.
Yes, 10 minutes is all you need.
(04:32):
Second, I want you to open upyour phone and delete five apps
that you haven't used in thepast six months.
If you don't use it, it's justtaking up space, so get rid of
it.
The next thing I want you to dois open up your laptop and
(04:54):
empty your downloads folder.
Trash what you don't need Now.
I know that this is going togive some of you anxiety.
You might be one of thosepeople who likes to hold on to
everything, so what I want youto do is start deleting anything
that is more than two years old, and if you've already used it
(05:17):
or you forgot why you even savedit, it's time to let it go.
Next, open your inbox.
I want you to look at someoneyou're getting emails from that
you never read, pick five peopleand unsubscribe from that email
(05:37):
list.
That's it 10 minutes, a fewsimple steps, but you'll get
immediate relief and when you'redone, I want to hear about it.
I want to hear how you feel.
Take a screenshot of yourcleaned up home screen, or even
your inbox, and post it inInstagram stories and tag me at
the underscore Shannon Baker.
(05:58):
Or, if you don't want to putyour chaos on display, I can
understand that Just DM me.
Tell me how it felt to completethis challenge, because I
guarantee you, once youexperience how much lighter you
feel after just 10 minutes ofcleanup, you're going to want
more of that feeling becauseyou're going to like the way
those endorphins feel.
And that's just a small reset, but it's proof that small steps
(06:23):
make a huge difference.
But it's proof that small stepsmake a huge difference.
So imagine what's possible whenyou apply this same strategy or
technique to your entirebusiness, because that is
exactly what we do inside of theMighty Society membership.
The time that you spend tryingto fix this alone, on your own,
it's time that you could beusing to grow your business, and
(06:46):
the longer you wait to addressthis, the more you're going to
stay stuck in that samefrustrating cycle.
Because this reset it's a greatstart, but it's not a real
solution.
Really, it's kind of like youwipe down your kitchen counter
when you know you really need todeep clean your kitchen.
It helps a little, but itdoesn't solve the problem long
(07:09):
term.
So if you want to stop feelinglike you're constantly putting
out fires in your business andactually get things under
control, you need more than justa little reset.
You need a real system, aprocess, a way to make sure that
, once you get things in order, the mess and chaos doesn't creep
back in and overtake you again.
(07:31):
And this is where I want you toask yourself a couple of things.
We're going to do a quick check.
If you answer yes to even oneof these questions, then the
Mighty Society membership isjust what you need to help you
solve this problem.
So you ready?
Okay, tell me, do you spendmore than 10 minutes a day
(07:51):
searching for files or emails?
Yes or no?
Do you feel like your inbox iscontrolling your day instead of
the other way around?
Yes or no?
Do you keep telling yourselfyou're going to fix your back
office later, but it neverhappens?
Yes or no?
Do you feel like your businessis running you instead of you
(08:16):
running it?
Yes or no?
So, if you nodded along andsaid yes to all four or just one
of these questions.
That's exactly why you need tobe inside the Mighty Society
membership.
It is time for you to stopworking harder just to survive
and stay afloat, instead ofstruggling with the same
(08:37):
problems next month.
I want you to imagine waking uptomorrow knowing exactly where
everything is.
Your emails are under control, you're no longer wasting time
looking for stuff.
That's what happens when youhave the right systems in place.
Now, I totally get that.
You have put this off for solong because you have absolutely
no idea where to even getstarted.
(08:58):
So if you are motivated andready to make some changes after
you've completed that 10 minutedigital reset challenge, then
you are going to love what iscoming next.
Inside of the Mighty Societymembership is the spring
cleaning challenge.
It's actually an audiochallenge pretty similar to the
(09:19):
challenge that was in thisepisode, and because you're
listening to this podcast, Ithink you're gonna like that.
This is something you canlisten to and accomplish a lot.
So the daily prompts in thatchallenge provide you with a
clear, step-by-step process tohelp you fix the mess in your
back office once and for all.
I mean I want you to thinkabout finally feeling in control
(09:40):
of your business instead ofbeing buried under it.
So, inside that challenge, itreally.
It goes beyond just, you know, wiping the surface, beyond
decluttering.
It's going to help you organizeyour logins, your passwords and
client information, so you arenever locked out of the tools
(10:01):
that you need.
You're going to create astreamlined inbox that actually
works for you instead of runningyour day.
You're going to create astreamlined inbox that actually
works for you instead of runningyour day.
You're going to fix areas whereyou're losing time by creating
simple workflows that keep yourbusiness running smoothly, but
without the chaos.
And, most importantly, you'regoing to be able to create a
system that works for you soit's built to last.
So if you've been waiting forthe right time to get organized,
(10:25):
my friend, this is your signthat now is a time for you to
take action, because the momentthat you sign up, you're going
to get instant access to thatspring cleaning challenge so you
can create a clear roadmap andknow exactly where to start.
There's no guesswork, nooverwhelm, just a step-by-step
path to getting your business inorder.
(10:47):
So, if you're ready, go totheshannonbakercom forward slash
membership and get instantaccess to the challenge, along
with a full suite of otherresources inside of the Mighty
Society.
Now you may also be thinkingShannon, it sounds great, but I
don't have time for this rightnow.
(11:07):
Well, let's reframe how youthink about this and how you
look at it.
You're already spending hoursevery week dealing with this
mess.
The time you spend searchingfor files, cleaning up last
minute problems, putting outfires and managing things
manually, it's already costingyou time, and time is costing
(11:28):
you money.
So imagine what would happen ifyou redirected that time,
energy and resources intoactually fixing the problem.
Or if you're thinking yeah, well, that sounds good, but I
can figure this out later.
Well, my friend, I know you'vetold yourself that before, so
stop lying to yourself.
(11:49):
Be honest.
Has it ever actually happened?
No, the reality is, if youdon't prioritize this right now,
you're going to keep putting itoff and nothing is going to
change.
Well, actually, it will change.
It's just going to get worse.
Now if you're thinking well, Idon't know if it's worth me
(12:11):
making this investment.
Well, think about this.
How much is your time worth Ifyou're spending even 30 minutes
a day in a disorganized frenzy?
That's over 180 hours per year,no-transcript.
(12:33):
And if you're still wonderingif this will make a difference,
I want you to hear from someonewho has experienced this
firsthand.
I know it's easy to think itsounds great, but will it really
work for me?
Well, imani thought that toobefore she joined the Mighty
Society membership.
So here's what she had to sayabout her experience inside.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
I am Imani Guy, ceo
of May New Marketing, and I
wanted to come on here and shoutout Shannon Baker of TSB
Management Solutions.
I had the amazing opportunityto be a part of her NYT Society
membership and this program hasreally been instrumental in my
growth as an entrepreneur.
I always told Shannon when Ifirst became an entrepreneur, I
(13:23):
googled how do you start abusiness and it told me LLC, ein
website, but it didn't speakabout the importance of having
an efficient back officeoperations and automating your
system so that you don't have tofocus on them as much.
This membership allowed me todo just that.
Not only did it give me theplatforms, but the information.
It also allowed me to talk toShannon to see how can I build a
foundation now for the successI see in the future, and that's
(13:46):
one of the biggest things Ilearned the success of your
business starts with thefoundation you lay it on.
So I highly recommend thismembership program to
entrepreneurs, no matter thelevel you're on.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
Now, imani's
experience isn't unique, but it
does show you what happens whenyou finally stop piecing things
together or flying by the seatof your pants and you start
building a real foundation foryour business with systems.
The only difference betweenwhere you are now and where she
is is she made an intentionaldecision to fix it, and that
(14:19):
decision is right in front ofyou too.
So you have a choice to make.
But let's take a moment tobring this all together.
Right now, you're stuck in acycle of disorganization, losing
time, feeling overwhelmed andconstantly putting out fires in
your business.
Right, but you got a taste ofhow much a simple 10 minute
(14:41):
reset, how much a differencethat can make.
But let's be real, that is justa quick fix.
What you really need is asystem that keeps your business
running smoothly without youconstantly having to clean up
messes, and that's exactly whatyou can create inside of the
(15:03):
Mighty Society membership, especially if you start with the
Spring Cleaning your BusinessChallenge, because, again, it's
not just about cleaning thesurface or decluttering.
It's about building a backoffice that supports your growth
, helps you take control of yourtime and finally gives you the
space you need to focus on whattruly matters in your personal
life and in your business.
Now, if you want a fullbreakdown of exactly what's
(15:25):
inside of the Mighty Society andhow it can help you, go back
and listen to the previousepisode.
It's the Mighty Society themissing piece in your business
growth strategy, because in thatepisode, I walk you through the
membership like it's yourpersonal backstage pass.
I show you some of the majorthings that are inside, how it's
designed to help you stopoperating in chaos and start
(15:49):
building a system that actuallyworks for you.
You can also listen to thisepisode online if you go to the
membership page on my website, which is theshannonbakercom.
Forward slash membership and Iknow you've been thinking about
this for a while.
You know it's a problem and ifyou've made it this far in the
episode, that's proof thatyou're ready to take action.
(16:09):
So again, this is your signStop waiting, take control of
your time.
Today.
The question is are you goingto keep struggling or are you
going to take action?
And if you're still not sure,dm me on Instagram right now at
the underscore, shannon Baker, tell me what's holding you back.
Let's talk through this, andit's no pressure, it's just a
(16:31):
conversation, because at the endof the day.
This isn't about organizingjust for the sake of organizing.
It's about creating a space forgrowth.
It's about stepping into therole of CEO in your business,
because your business needs youto step into that role.
So that decision is in front ofyou.
So are you going to takecontrol or are you going to
(16:53):
continue to let thisorganization control you?
I already know the answer, so Ican't wait to see you inside of
the membership.
Thanks for hanging out with methis week.
If you've made it this far, it'sclear you're ready to shake
things up and take control ofyour business, and I'm here for
it.

(17:13):
better results.
I challenge you to break themold and take action today.
Your next move let's connect.

Mighty Society membership canhelp you streamline your back
