“While we are definitely making innovations on the hardware side, the secret sauce is not the hardware but the software wrapping we have around the NFC ring. Because remember, NFC's are fully readable and programmable.

Our technology is powered by the Earth64 data structure, which is ultra scalable (each ring contains 4.3 billion globally unique NFTs) and designed to enable authentications/proof of ownership to be conducted without a third party. This proprietary software is our advantage/differentiator that no other NFC ring has.

And then just to make a point clear - because our mission is to ensure privacy and no third-party interference, it was our conscious decision to not embed any sensors and batteries inside the ring. So for any users concerned about someone spying on them, this should give them more assurance.”

About Joy Zhang:

Joy Zhang is the CEO of HyperRing, an NFC ring spinoff inside the Hypercycle.ai ecosystem. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and IT from McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, and is a CFA charterholder.

Prior to joining HyperCycle, Ms. Zhang spent 9 years on Wall Street as an equity research analyst focused on fundamental analysis of publicly traded tech companies. Before that, she was VP of Healthcare Technology equity research at SVB Securities, where she launched coverage on Pharma Technology companies and CROs (contract research organizations). Other previous positions include: Senior Associate at Citibank, covering Healthcare IT (payer-facing, provider-facing, and EHR companies) and Junior Associate at Wells Fargo, covering Semiconductors.
