Curious about coaching certifications? Let's cut through the confusion.

Coaching is an unregulated industry - you can start coaching without formal training or credentials. Many coaches begin this way, learning as they go and serving clients effectively. However, there's a pattern we've observed repeatedly: uncertified coaches tend to hit growth plateaus quickly. Without structured frameworks, feedback mechanisms, and proper training, they struggle to advance their skills and expand their impact.

The right certification doesn't just give you a piece of paper - it transforms your coaching practice from the inside out. It builds confidence through structured learning and feedback, creates clarity through proven frameworks, and establishes credibility that clients recognize. When evaluating certification programs, ask yourself: Does it align with your values? Will you receive personalized feedback? Does it include actual practice opportunities? Does it teach powerful, adaptable frameworks?

What makes our approach different is our commitment to real-life instruction - increasingly rare in an era of pre-recorded videos. We believe in creating an immersive environment where you receive coaching while learning to coach others. This dual experience, combined with continuous peer feedback, elevates your skills to master level. We don't just teach coaching techniques; we guide you through becoming a coach. If you're feeling stuck or craving a solid foundation for your coaching practice, certification might be your breakthrough moment. Ready to take your coaching skills to the next level? Let's chat about what true transformation looks like.

Speaker 0 (00:00):
Do people need a certification?
It really just depends on thetype of coach that you want to
be and the kind of support thatyou want to offer your clients.
Here's the truth is you don'tneed to have a certification to
call yourself a coach or evenget started coaching people.
The life coaching industry isunregulated, meaning there isn't
one entity that proves thatyou're a coach or not, even
though some companies try to dothat.

(00:20):
But here's what I have found ismost coaches who don't have
structure, they plateau veryquickly because they don't have
things to follow, they don'thave frameworks, they don't have
a way of getting feedback andthey don't have a way of getting
better as a coach.
And when you find the rightcertification, not only do you
get the tools, the feedback andthe real training, but it helps
you build confidence, clarityand credibility.

(00:42):
That's why today's truth is youdon't need a certification to
coach, but you might need one togrow.
What should someone be lookingfor when they're searching for a
certification?
Yeah, I have a couple questionsthat I can give you.
Number one is does thecertification align with your
values?
Number two is is there a wayfor you to get feedback, or is
it just a bunch of videos thatyou're gonna be watching.

(01:02):
Number three is that theyactually have you practice.
And number four, did they teachyou a powerful framework?
Those are some of the questionsthat I asked when I was looking
for a certification.
How do you know when it's timeto invest in one, if you're
getting the pull to really getdeep into coaching, to learn how
to master it, have aconversation with somebody who
has been certified and listen inon some of the benefits that

(01:24):
they've gotten.
So what makes our certificationdifferent?
A couple of things.
First off, the real lifeinstruction.
That's not happening a lotanymore.
A lot of it is recorded videosfor you to do on your own.
We also talk a lot about likehaving a deeper understanding of
how to manage your mind andreally getting your own coach
while you're going through theprocess, because you're getting
coached, while you're learninghow to coach others and, of

(01:44):
course, just being in theenvironment of other people who
are learning and growing ascoaches, so that you can get
more feedback and elevate thelevel of your coaching to a
master level.
That's what we do inside.
We like to say that we don'tjust teach you how to coach.
We teach you how to become acoach.
That's where I feel like ourcertification really does stand
out.
It's not like a check the boxkind of thing.
It's an actual process that wetake people through, guide them

(02:06):
through the skills, get them topractice, get feedback, have
them practice outside of thecalls and be there for them
every step of the way to keepelevating their level of
coaching until they reach thatmaster coach level.
If that's something you'd everbe interested in, let's
definitely chat Now.
If you missed truth number six,go back and watch that one.
We talked about what actuallycreates confidence in coaching,

(02:27):
and if you're craving a realpath, a real foundation, not
just theory, then acertification might be your next
step.
Find one that you believe inand learn more about it.
Now that we've talked about acertification, there's something
else that we need to call outthat might actually keep you
stuck and we see this happen tonot only new coaches but even
seasoned ones and we're going toshow you how to finally break

(02:48):
that cycle.
We'll see you in truth numbereight.
